Tantin had managed to squirm out of Hesper's grip a while back, and had taken to walking on all fours next to her. He often paused to stick his head up and smell the air. It was different. Not bad, but certainly different. Kushibah had no large cities, so this was another new experience for the young Kushiban. He looked at the other children blankly. He could barely recall the last time he had played. The last few weeks had been mostly training or meditating or crashing or running. He felt out of place. He could feel that Hesper almost felt out of place, and looked up to her.
"Do we just go in, or do we wait out here?"

A shuffling figure stepped out into the main hallway and paused. Noticing the arrival of two new people, judging from their auras and feelings, the being moved towards them. It stood about 5'2," average for its species and wore a breathing mask. Odd bumps poked out under the more traditional robes of the Jedi, a scratchy voice spoke in greeting with a few squeaking clicks as it framed the words in Basic.
"Vuur'l welcomes you Corellian Jedi Academy."
The Gand gestured to itself and then to the edifice around it.
"Rlees offers apologies for Rlees' insignificance to greet you."
Vuur'l bowed to Hesper Calix and the fluffy being that had just spoken. As the alien had been present when they arrived, he had attempted to offer courtesy to them, but he felt perhaps they would have preferred someone of higher rank.

-Jedi Master Hesper Calix bowed her head respectively towards the strange creature that came to greet them.-
=Hesper Calix= "Thank you for your welcome, Master Rlees. I am Master Hesper Calix, and this is my soon-to-be padawan, Tantin. Where may we find room within the Temple?" She asked him curiously.
She had been cloistered off from the rest of the galaxy for most of her life, and the sights and sounds of seeing a full Jedi Temple was new to her. Her home temple was a place of solitude where one could meditate with the Force. There was nothing on the forgotten, icy world of Ilum except for the ice and snow.
The Order of Ilum only had a dozen Jedi there, and they had been there for many years. She was one of the few humans to have studied there after having been brought there as a child.
=Hesper Calix= "Master Rlees, what can you tell me about this place? Who runs this Temple, and how may I secure accommodations for myself and the Youngling."

"Vuur'l begs your forgiveness for the misunderstanding. Rlees is only a padawan." The Gand bowed humbly to Hesper Calix, a bit awed by the severe authority tinging her aura. Perhaps this one was more like the Knights of the Old Order.
Vuur'l stepped back a pace and waved one arm ending in three digits further down the main hallway, before continuing to speak in difficult Basic accented with squeaks and clicks.
"If it please Master Calix and Tantin to follow Vuur'l?"
The Gand waited before pacing off slowly enough to follow and take in the sights of the Academy.
"The ruling council is composed of Masters Frantz, Sontir, and Jade under the nominal guidance of Master Raganella, but Vuur'l has not seen Master Raganella in some weeks by now." The Gand's head dipped in apology. "Residential Wing is this way, but as Tantin will be padawan to Master Calix, Master Calix will be on level three composed of suites for Masters and assigned padawans. There are several unoccupied rooms."
The Gand paused, unsure whether Master Calix and Tantin would prefer the stairs or the lift, and eventually the Gand chose the stairs as giving more of an idea about the Academy as an edifice. Windows opened out, revealing the terrain nearby the Academy with a view of the mountains in the distance.
"Residential Wing faces east to the sun, so Jedi may rise early."

Tantin became a little shy when Vuur'l came and approached them. When Hesper told the Gand that he was about to be her padawan he seek to shrink even more. There was no explanation for it. He was usually such a friendly and chatty young Kushiban, perhaps it was the new surroundings? He followed Vuur'l next to Hesper, staying close to her as they made their way into the Temple.
"I...uh...I...I'm a bit nervous, Master Calix. I guess I'm waiting for another Sith to pop up, or a ship to crash. It's hard to imagine all those ships flying around at once without them wrecking into each other."
Tantin kept his big round eyes on his surroundings as they walked, and keeping his ears relaxed yet listening to everything around. His nose was also doing its job, smelling all the new things, and giving him new scents of people who had come and gone, and those that remained. Mentally he was readying himself for something he knew would be challenging. This was what his parents had raised him to be, though not against his will. He loved his mother and father, and wanted nothing more than to make them proud. In fact he was looking forward to the challenge. Still his fur tinged a light hue of silverish blue at the small amount of fear he had about such a large bustling planet, even if it was protected by Jedi.

=Hesper Calix= "Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. I apologize for my padawan, he has never been around so many people before. Do you have any Younglings here? Perhaps someone his own age that he may speak to. His journey here has been long and hard, and I will need some time to make some preparations for his training. May I speak to the Temple's administrator when they have a free moment?"
Hesper's questions were plentiful. Indeed, it had been quite some time since she had attended a Padawan Appointment ceremony. She never anticipated that she would be doing something like this, let alone to her own Padawan learner. Hesper looked over at Tantin for a moment. Did Kushiban wear clothes? How would he wear the vestments of the Order? She doubted that she could somehow make a padawan braid out of his soft fur, or that she could somehow stuff him into robes and a pair of trousers.

Vuur'l Rlees had never before seen a Kushiban, and though the Gand made a valiant effort not to stare, it had noted the fur color shift to blue. Tantin's long ears and twitching nose were also matters of curiosity, but they were pushed to the side as the Gand attempted to address Master Calix's queries.
"Younglings there are, padawans also," creaked out of the Gand's artificial speaking apparatus. As Kushiban were not familiar, the Gand had no way of judging how old Tantin was. "How many years has Master Ca---forgiveness please, Rlees means no slight."
The knobbly alien turned to look at Tantin, acknowledging the Youngling as a being, before addressing a query in that direction. "Of how many years is Tantin witness?"
"Dak and Xeres are in the unassigned youngling/padawan barrack-type quarters. Vuur'l does not know ages." Master Calix's query about speaking with the Academy administrators was easier to answer. "Master Frantz is offworld, but Vuur'l believes Master Jade is here, also the Healer, Master Nalatua'lin. Vuur'l is sure one of Master Calix's stature would have no problems speaking with either of them."
At the top of the stairs, the Gand turned and keyed in a quick access code triggering the opening of the doors into the Residential Wing of the Academy.

Sabo lead the Captain though the entrance, showing no emotion to finally be reaching the Jedi Temple. He could feel the presence of other Jedi, feel the eagerness of younglings to learn. Untapped knowledge and potential filled the air. Yes, he was happy to be "HOME", though he didn't show it.
"There is no Emotion, There is Peace." He whispered under his breath. Turning to the Captain next, he smiled politely. "Now we wait Captain! Someone will notice us soon!"

Nala climbed into the pilot's seat while thinking. The other Twi'Lek was obviously both excited and pleased. When she spoke it was in a thoughtful tone that just barely carried over the whine of the speeder's repulsorlifts.
"When you get what you seek, I hope you feel that it is worthwhile. Urges such as you mention tend to be very short-lived. Perhaps it is the quest that you enjoy?"
Tchunn briefly twitched interrogatively.
"Have you a name or designation by which it is possible to inquire after this person?"
She did not know how Five would respond to that, but unless she circulated the promised painting widely, it would be difficult to spread out feelers and see if anything was known. So far, this seemed like a private hunt for revenge, but if it was truly private, why then was it being backed by these other masters/mistresses of Five's? The information she had just passed along about Corulag seemed to indicate a more widespread interest in this quarry than the yellow Twi'Lek wished to let on.
The Healer wove through the traffic and headed back towards the Academy. -5- "No, it is a quest I wish to be done with." There wasnt much to say after that. The yellow twilek slave sat for a moment, watching the countryside wash by, memmories haunting her mind. She looked down on her hands, the new hands she had gotten. Just reading the manual nearly got her into a fit. She immagined the things these hands could do to the woman that took them away. Finally, she answered.-5- "If we knew, we would have found her by now. She changed names and identity. We pondered long how to approach this. One idea was missing persons milk carton add, an other was simply going to the cops. The masters didnt want that, didnt trust the coppers. They didnt want to get in bad seat with the Jedi if things went wrong. And most importantly, we didnt want her to get scarred and leave. She had fallen from my grasp twice allready. So, here I am. Batting two flies with one lekku." They just arrived to the entrence and landed. Five saw the two at the entrence. They looked lost and in need of assistance. Likely an other addition to this fine school. The yellow twilek slave wore a skarf over her slaves collar, to not intimidate people at the accademy any longer, pants and a shirt.

Occasionally when Nalatua'lin glanced over at Five she noticed that the other female seemed to be absorbed in reading from a manual, and every so often she would glance at her hands like she wasn't really familiar with them. Nala's carefully drawn eyebrows arched, and the tip of tchunn twitched curiously.
"But you suspect she is on Corellia, perhaps in Coronet City?"
Maybe it would not be as hard to locate her as she had at first suspected.
"Do you have any idea what she might be doing as a living? The kinds of places here that might attract her attention?"
When the two of them reached the Academy and disembarked, letting one of the students have the fun of driving the speeder around to the hangar, Nala half-bowed as they approached Sabo Alora. She had noticed that Five had used the scarf to cover her slave collar, and while Five had attempted to explain her position, Nala felt a bit relieved to see that this was the case. Hopefully those few who did know of her status would not spread that information.
She addressed the two waiting people as they were passing in to the Academy.
"Are you lost?"

-5- "Yes, I do."
She answered Nala and let it be there. Five had allready taken up enough time of the jedis, and these nice people needed her help. Not to mention, they had a little date later. Some good old fascioned ass kicking. She looked forward to it, she had never fought a jedi. To her knowledge, not even the Mistress did. That thought in itself fueled her anticipation even more. She wanted Nala to be done with these people so they could get at the fighting.
She got out of the speeder and smiled at Sabo and her captain friend taking a stance a bit behind Nala.
-5- "Hi."

He had watched the two strangers approach, hoping that Captain Corix would act with some reserve until they had a better handle on their current situation. He smiled and bowed slightly to his new companions.
"Hello! And yes, we are slightly lost. This is the Jedi temple, that much is apparent to me, but this is my first time here. To the Planet, not only to the academy. I must ask, is Master Roma or Master Coral still around?
After a brief pause, he realized the two may not know of whom he speaks, or who he was, considering he had forgotten to introduce himself.
He smiled embarrassingly.
"Forgive me. My name is Sabo Alora of the Felucian conclave. Brother of Raven Alora, Jedi High council member?" He wondered if the two had any clue who is sister was. He had spent three years on Tatooine in self imposed exile, he wasn't quite sure what had become of her. "Anyways, Master Coral knows me very well, going back nearly 10 years. I regret that my interactions with Master Roma have been less personal and more council related. But I believed that they both called Corellia home at one point."

The statuesque green Twi'Lek's lekku twitched a negative before she spoke an answer.
"No, neither of them."
As he mentioned some Felucian Jedi, Nala looked over at Five, thinking perhaps her travels had taken her that direction at some point? The Felucian academy frankly was pretty insulated from the rest of the Order, and while Nala knew of its existence she had no idea who was in residence there.
"I knew Serrin, yes, but I am not familiar with Master Coral. That individual must have left here years ago."
Nala shrugged before introducing herself.
"I am Nalatua'lin, Chief Healer of this Academy, and this," she gestured with an open hand over at Five, "is Five. Unfortunately I have not heard of Raven Alora, so it looks like you are truly on unfamiliar ground here."

Five was shocked that she actually could contribute.
-5- "I have. Raven Alora is a great warrior. My .... " She nearly said Master "... Boss had heard off her. She fought the Serpent Khar twice, stood her ground both times. A Jedi Master, if I remember the story right."
She thought not to continue, since she had nothing else to say, but then something hit her. An idea. Her lekkus started to twist in exitement.
-5- "Me and Jedi Nala was about to go for some sparring. Mind to join us?"
She had immagined how jelous her sisters would be if she told them that she had fought jedi. She nearly jumped out of her skin at the thought of telling them she fought two jedi, at once.

Upon hearing this news, Sabo frowned slightly. It pained him deeply not to know of Raven's fate. He sighed and looked towards the Captain, the question clear on his face.
"Shall we?"
Captain Corix eyed both Twi'leks with caution. Not being trained at hiding his discomfort, the good captain didn't particularly enjoy the company of jedi. Often saying that they were "bad for business". But Sabo had saved his life and the lives of his crew on Tatooine, and for that the Captain had agreed to transport Master Alora to Corellia, although begrudgingly. Corix nodded his agreement.
"I might have time."
Sabo gave the Captain a pat on the back, a wide grin stretching across his bearded face. The grin stayed firmly in place as he turn back to Nalatua'lin and Five.
"Please, lead the way!"

Not being one who enjoyed sparring in the first place, Nalatua'lin was discomfited by Five's sudden inclusion of Sabo Alora. Doubtless it was many males' dream to find themselves in a similar situation with not one, but two Twi'Lek females. However, Nalatua'lin did not find the idea appealing at all. Five, she would have fought, after all it was what they had agreed. But, this was a change in conditions precipitated by an excited yellow Twi'Lek that had a much more worldly view of life than the Healer. To be sure, she was not a prude, but unlike Five, she did not attempt to attract lascivious male attentions. Grey eyes narrowed as she looked over at Five, lekku twitching her discomfort.
"I am sure Sabo Alora would prefer fighting you on his own, Five."
However, stepping closer to Five, tchinn nudged the other woman's nearest lek-tip, as Nala hissed at her quietly, "I'll gladly kick your ass some other time, alone."
Adding a third party would be no true test of the Twi'Leks, woman to woman. And Nalatua'lin was just annoyed enough that she might actually enjoy a fight with Five. However, she swallowed back the emotion, stormclouds flashing in her eyes, before making a thin-lipped smile at Sabo and his companion as the four of them headed into the Academy proper.

As he followed Nalatua'lin and Five to the sparring room, it had just dawned upon Sabo that he may have just unwittingly stepped into something between the two Twi'leks females, something he was certain he didn't want to get in the middle of. He sighed, layering his voice with finality.
"Perhaps I'll just sit this one out."
He stops, adressing the Captain.
"If you wish Captain Corix, you may return to your ship. I'll make payments directly into your account when I secure the funds."
Corix was all to happy to leave, nodding his agreement almost instantly upon hearing the dismissal, and all but sprinting back towards the shuttle.

-5- "No no, what is promised is promised. I am sure I will have the chance to test Jedi Sabo some other time."
She watched as the captain ran off.
-5- "Chatty fellow."

Nalatualin's carefully drawn eyebrows arched in surprise as she looked at Sabo Alora, then narrowed. Perhaps she'd misjudged him. Still, as someone who preferred to heal rather than injure, she really hadn't wanted to add him into the mix as well, particularly since she had literally only just met him.
"You are welcome to come with us," she invited him, lest he think she disliked him being here on Corellia or anything. "Whoever loses is buying a round of drinks," with a glance over at Five before finishing her thought to Sabo, "I'm sure we can include you."
"Perhaps he doesn't like Jedi, Five," she responded to the yellow Twi'Lek. "Or maybe he's intimidated by you."
Tchunn twitched in something approximating amusement as she led the way deeper into the Academy and headed towards the training rooms.

Sabo shrugs his shoulders, simply giving a hum in agreement to Fives take on the Captain. "He grows on you."He turns to acknowledge Nala. "However, don't assume his demeanor towards either of you is out of dislike. He doesn't trust Jedi. We're in a..."He pauses, trying to decide how to frame the current situation with the Captain. "Financial arrangement at the moment. But he is a good man none the less."
He continues to match the stride of the two Twi'leks as the make their way to what he assumes is the sparring area.
"So how we're the two of you going to pay for the drinks when I won?"
He grins playfully to the two of them, a less then subtle jab.
"It's not that I'm not up to the challenge of teaching the two of you a few things. But three years on a dessert planet, with no contact with another force wielder, I feel that regaining some manner of civility is required, first and foremost."
He retrieves the hilt of his lightsaber from where it hung from his waist, balancing it in the palm of his hand.
"Besides, not all of a Jedi's weapons are of a combative nature."
