I smiled for a moment then stood taking a bite of the admittedly delicious Strudel.
“You are forgetting something, Master. unless you expect me to fly to bakura on a rust bucket, i have no transportation to get to Bakura.”

Chuckling, i sent a message to Kryze’s base to release Test subject 108. displaying a picture of the shuttle, i nodded to the boy.
“You’re right. Consider this a gift. working off of certain archival files we were able to recreate a subtle along the lines that your father used to fly. for the prototype, we layered it in Instramtan blue as opposed to Judicial Red. It will be here by morning’s light”
I paused for a moment
“And since it is near what your father flew, if i may i would suggest Infinity eagle for the shuttle”

I paused for a moment before shaking my head
“My father’s shuttle was his shuttle, i will name it when it has earned one.”
I raised my hand to perform the traditional salute for this situation but in a moment of weakness i dropped my hands and stood with my back to my master
“You know what i would say… be well Master.”
And with that... i left the Dining hall

She leaned back. She kinda suspected she would have a "guest" status, which would make her duties harder to preform. She will have to find a way around that. She felt fortunate that she had found a new recruit on her way here. Contemplating her options, she DID become highly intrested in the jedis offer to help.-5- "Yes, Jedi master Raganella, how CAN you? Where would you start, if you had to hunt down a slave mistress who has changed identity upon moving to corellia? What do I have... lets see... I have the approximate time when she moved, I have height, age, race, but... she might be a lot older then when I saw her last. She also might be in the media business. She made commersials on juvex a long time ago. I dont think she deals with slavery anymore, the laws and police here on Corellia are too well organised for that, but she is a criminal none the less, and she took something from me that I will never get back. So.... Jedi Master, what is our first step?" The Jedi Knight tilted her head slightly, deep in thought. After a moment, she replied carefully. There was really only one option at this point, but how much did she want to tell this stranger? That was a question she would need to keep in mind. This was a good opportunity to test Five's motives, but it also could quite easily be a trap, if the Jedi were not careful. "Well, if you have all that information, and especially if you know when she came to Corellia, we can search the planetary immigration records and see what we can find. There can't be too many immigrants that would match all of your criteria, and, if the Force is with us, one of them will be this slave-mistress's new identity." She paused, tilting her styro of stimcaf almost upside down to retrieve the last drops. She had two more questions to ask, before making any formal inquiries. The first was primarily aimed at beginning the search, but the second was aimed more at the legitimacy of this man-hunt. Kay'li had to be reasonably sure that she was not being used to enable some fresh crime to be committed. But of course she couldn't just say that. Five clearly had a cover story. Instead, she needed to pick away at the edges of that story, and make sure that it held up under pressure. The young woman tossed the empty cup over her shoulder into a trash receptacle. "What race was she? And if we should find her, what do you plan to do?"

No, no, I do not mean to judge. Just rather funny to hear that exchange
I smiled as the she grabbed her glass and raised it up for a toast. To Surviving touching my glass to hers, I brought it back to my lips and took a few large gulps of it. Placing it back on the table smiling, as the drink warmed my throat I smiled. Well it would be interesting to teach here, I could at least assume now that I was going to have some fun times. Especially Around this young lady her. I was use to the jedi having a solid structure, but this seemed to be more loosely run here and that was shocking to a point. Though at the moment it sounds like it would be worth to teach here, Start seeing some of the changes first handed, instead of looking from the outside. I looked about examining everyone as they came and went, getting a feel for what I might see here daily.
Yes I am, and Im sure one will be appointed if they feel I meet the right requirements to Teach one.

A smile flickered at the corners of the young woman's lips as she sipped her drink and looked at Ramon. "So, what do you think qualifies someone to teach?" It might have been just her opinion, but it seemed like whenever there were plenty of padawans, knights and masters were few, and when there were more available masters and knights, padawans were in short supply. Looking around the hall she observed calmly, "This seems like a busy place to be," as Eremiel, Jared Lionel, and Emilie had showed up a few minutes ago. She'd seen the small girl before on a couple occasions and reflected that she seemed superficially young and innocent as far as the more harsh realities of life were concerned. Oh well. She'd learn in time. Besides, there was something to be said for the charming naivete of the young.

Someone who has been truly living the code. Someone who the Masters, deem have something to contribute.
I lowered my gaze towards my drink, lifting it up slightly. Watching the surface move ever so slightly. Having left so long ago, I was curious if they would find me fitting to teach here. I swirled the contents of my drink around watching it swirl in the container. I wasn't the prime example of a Jedi, though I had been at one point. Doing everything that was ever asked of me, slaving to meet every standard that would make one stand out to the masters. Friends had been a thing for the lazy! But that changed long ago. I let out a sigh as I felt the weight of guilt pressing downwards again. Lifting the drink, resting the lip of the glass on my own lips I waited a moment my eyes looking up to stare in to Al'lara eyes. Forcing a smile, I tilted my head back draining the last of my drink.
Placing the glass down softly, my gaze followed Al'lara's as she scanned the room. It was true I had felt the presence of even more people join us here. and the place seemed like it could get quite lively.
It does look lively, and I look forward to getting to know the people here.
Raising one leg I sat sideways in my chair with my right arm rested on the table, watching people buzzing about.
And what do you think qualifies someone to teach Al'lara?

-5- "She is human, slender build, about one meter seventy..."
As the twilek started talking she became all serious. She had made a couple jokeing lines and was casual up untill now. Her face was tense, her gaze focussed, and you did not need to be a jedi to see dark feelings turmoil in the woman as she started to remove her left hand, finger for finger screwing them off. Her left hand was a prosthetic, it seemed. Pressing it in three different parts made the fingers loosen, and she was removing them one by one as she was talking, placing them in the pattern they are supposed to be on a hand.
-5- "...She had whitened hair, but she may colour it to be light brown. She should be working with media, commercials and the like, and be active in art circles. She came here ten to twenty years ago. She wares local fascion..."
The fingers were gone, and then, she turned the left hand in an unnatural angle and removed it, placing it on the table.
-5- "... She may not know we are looking for her, that we know she still is alive, that is why she still may live for her passions. If she DOES know, we will have trouble finding her..."
Her left arm was just a stump ending in a mechanical docking station for the prostetic hand. The right one she bit in two places, one in the hand, and one in the underarm. The hand loosened, and laid in front of the twilek woman. She was a frightful sight, a woman dedicated to anger and revenge, with no hands to communicate her vengeance into the material world.
-5- "What I want to do, Master Jedi? I want justice. No more. No less."
She was told not to lie in matters not concerning her order or her mistresses, and she did not. All she wanted was her old captors hands in a jar to look at.

"If one was limited to a strict interpretation of the Code--pardon me, but I have been trying to make up for lost time in the Archives--it seems that many of the respected and looked up to Masters of today would have very little claim upon the positions they hold. Don't you think?" She tossed the matter back to him. Al'lara was not advocating for such a thing herself, to be sure. But there would always be those who claimed to be 'better Jedi' than those around them. Personally, she did not think that this was very in tune with the Jedi Code herself.
She met his gaze, a bit shyly at first, but then with more confidence, particularly since he seemed to be relaxed around her. He was positively slouching! Al'lara took a sip of her drink, ordering her thoughts before replying, "I think that a teacher must show compassion, sympathy if not empathy, in addition to the traditional more flashy 'Jedi skills'... and, above all, to teach one must realize how much more there is yet to learn."
Al'lara set down her glass, taking brief stock of the people around and flashing a smile over at Emilie. The little girl was a bright light of enthusiasm and cheer wherever she ended up in the Academy...even though it often involved literally running into people. Diamonte and Auric Ulshade seemed to have finished their conversation, indeed the younger man had left rather quickly. She glanced at her notes before looking back up and inquiring, "Master Ulshade?"

As the kid went, i found a pot of yogurt very interesting, for… no apparent reason. but letting the words the young master sink in… had me considering what had happened since I ferried him to safety.
All that said, I was taken out of my moment when Al'lara spoke my name. nodding i picked up my tray and moved to the table where everyone else was at.
“Yes my dear, how can i be of service?"

I would agree with you for the most part miss, and its refreshing to see there is some who see it the way I did, and still do. Makes for a nice welcome home gift, to know things might have changed a bit around here.
I look towards her smiling, indeed it was nice knowing things might have changed over the course of the years. Made it an exciting venture to rejoin my counterparts. Its all I could think of as I watched them all eat and talk like nothing was going on. O what it would be like to feel like that again, not a care in the world. It brought a certain joy to me watching them all. Yet all I could think of was teaching the next generation of what was really going on out there. Prepare them against the tidal wave of darkness tat I could sense was coming. The galaxy was going to change, and I wasn't sure if we or even I was really ready for that.
Hearing Al'lara speak I brought my leg back around sitting right. Crossing my arms on the table I looked to the other man who was spoken to. I watched as he approached are table with his own food. This was the first time seeing this man, I had not noticed him when I first got here. So as he approached the table I took upon myself to do introductions. Extending my right arm out I looked at the man smiling and bowing my head.
Hello Sir, The name is Ramon. Ramon Delay

I nodded to the other man as i cleaned the pot of yogurt i was dealing with. looking the man over as if I were some sort of high functioning sociopath, the armor looked good, nearly like it had a plating of precious metals. but my attention was drawn to the center of the armor to the iron heart.
“long time since i have seen one of those…and honestly I wouldn’t be out on the battle field with that armor and a saber.”
letting off a chuckle i extended my hand
“Auric Ulshade, Jedi master and an associate of one of the best custom shipyards not known to the average spacer.”

"Yeah, it isn't a bad Academy. As far as I can tell, there's all sorts here, it just depends on what you're looking for."
Al'lara grinned mischievously as Ramon suddenly straightened himself out in the presence of Master Ulshade.
"Nothing really, at this time. I was more just recognizing you," she replied to Auric, before applying herself to her dinner and drink while listening as the two men seemed about to drop into technical armor details. She didn't generally wear armor. For one thing, she couldn't afford it. And for another, she didn't like feeling trapped and limited.

No doubt he was reffering to the mandolarian symbole square on my chest. I grasped his hand as I looked back home shaking it sturnly. Then letting go I pointed back at the marking on my chest. No doubt if I were facing mando's, i would have some explaining to do. But I do not fear wearing it cause there is more then 2 ways of gaining the Iron Heart. Nether am i Mando, or did I kill one for it.I looked back towards my food taking a bite of it, and chewing it before speaking again. This time I gazed to Al'lara then to Auric. I gained this from a comrade that I worked along side. It was a gift during are parting of ways. He, like I, Believed that we had never worked along side a greater warrior. He was warrior of mind and metal. My smile grew as I spoke of my old friend. In fact your last comment would have made him split a gut, He liked the not so known secrets of the galaxy. I often found him buying things from shops that you would never expect to be where you were. Its a shame I don't have more money then I do, or I might take a look at some of these custome ships of yours. God knows Sheila would be happy to pilot something other then the rust bucket we have now. Still chuckling i turned back towards my food and begain to eat. Aye one of these days i may have to pay this fellow a visit, and see what goods he had. Both for Sheila, and that old man.

Smiling to the young woman i nodded kindly, The kid had made an impact, and i thought my options going forward. it certainly made me feel light at heart.
“thank you then ma’am. i hope that if i stuck around here i wouldn’t be interfering in anything.”
then i turned to mr. Delay, i had a smirk on my face and a twinkle in my eye.
“with your kind permission, i would like to purpose a sort of under the table deal sir. Assuming the designer can pass the idea off, I would like to equip you free of charge with a new shuttle or freighter. the young man i was speaking to previous was the genius and the recipient behind most of the custom designs.”

I remained silent as he spoke to Al'ara. She was the reason he had come over. When he finished I looked up from food, still chewing a half mouth full of food. When he faced me and addressed me, I started to choke. Coughing, I pounded on my chest a few times before a piece of food dislodged from my throat and flew back onto my plate. Coughing a few more time i took a deep breath. Standing up I faced the man, it was not everyday a man offered you a free ship. Let alone one you could design yourself. It had caught me off guard, and i wasn't sure how to react. But I had quickly gotten a hold of myself and straightened up. I extended my arm out to him again.Thank you Sir, I think that will make a certain lady very happy. Hell it makes me happy. I will contact my friend and tell here where to go, I'm sure in her free time she has come up with several ship designs in her own head. Where should she go? And you will have to let me repay this debt someday.

"Who is Sheila?" Al'lara interjected into a momentary conversational lull. Was she Ramon's girlfriend or wife perhaps?
Al'lara had not really involved herself in a social life for some time now. On Galantos she had been busy with security work. During off-duty she'd practiced sparring with her sister and others of the defense force stationed in Gal'fian'deprisi. That was a different level of society though. Despite her training as a Jedi, she didn't feel comfortable in gatherings of the upper classes. The subtleties and pseudo-politenesses seemed to be a waste of time.
She absentmindedly picked at the hem of her tunic, as the men discussed shuttles and whatnot.

I chuckled uncomfortably as Ramon began to believe he had permission to design the ship. and while that was partially true, i still had to make sure that the design could plausibly pass off as something Monte would design, and knowing monte, i didn’t know when would be the first time he would openly check his messages while he was off on his … well i considered it a hissy fit hermitage.
“how about this, when your designer finishes with her blueprint, hand it to me, and i will transmit to the young man so that the money at the top doesn’t get suspicious of me rigging the system. And wait till you receive the ship before you concern yourself in repaying any debt ”
turning to miss Al’lara, i smiled… but it was an awkward smile. the kind woman not so much invited me in to the conversation as noted me, and now i seemed to push her off to the sidelines.
“I apologize ma’am, i mean no offense…”

I will do that Sir, I appreciate it.
Well it wasn't every day options like these came up, and I was filled with a bit of happiness at it. But as Al'lara spoke I turned to face her drawing my arm back to my side. I could sense the heavy hand in the question. Here i had been rambling about people. None of which I had taken much to explain or introduce. Partly feeling bad for ignoring her I sat back down resting my arms on the table. I figured I should explain before I moved on.
Im sorry Al'lara I did not mean to be rude. Shelia Is a dear friend of mine, I picked her up in Espa a few years ago. She has piloted me through much over the years. Shes currently sitting in a hanger in the city. She is uncomfortable around, well people like us.
It was true Shelia had piloted me through more trouble then one man cared to see in his life. But she always got me out alive. One of the few people I trusted, but it seemed that was starting to change. After sititng here, I was starting to feel I was going to enjoy my new life here. People had changed, or maybe it was me.
I think I may like it here after all.

I nod
“at your leisure, it will take some time for the guy to run through your plans.”
I sat back and let the other two discus for a moment, nothing really came to mind, so i didn’t want to be a bother… but at a point i would head out to take care of other business.
