Al'lara shifted uncomfortably, something in what Ramon was saying---this woman was a dear friend but she did not like Jedi, and he would be content to leave her behind? This confused her. Loyalty seemed to be a clearcut matter as far as she was concerned. It had already cost her her twin sister, but it had been something they had chosen.
"What does she say about you staying here at the Academy, then?"
There was another possibility, and that was that Ramon had not told Sheila of his intentions. This potential deception was disturbing in one who claimed the Jedi mantle.

I took a few bites of my food, realizing has I chewed it how hungry I was getting. I shoveled more food into my mouth as Al'lara spoke trying to clench the starving feeling that was now starting to form with the small taste of food. After wolfing down a third of my plate I grabbed my napkin and rubbed it against my lips wiping away any food left over. After placing the napkin down, I looked back up at here smiling. Realizing I might have looked like a pig. Excuse me I was getting a bit hungry there. I chuckled as I placed my arms on the table. It took Shelia some months to get use to me, but it was not hard seeing as I didn't freely share i was a Jedi when we started working together. So she had a chance to know me before that information was shared. Now she aware I am here on Corellia, and understands I don't do anything that I do not believe benefits us. She will not be here for sometime, she is working through her own issues, which I understand. But she knows that deep down I couldn't keep hiding from what I was. Just as she now can't hide how she feels. There was a part of me that was sadden by the fact that Shelia would not be here, good friends were hard to let go of. Especially when you have lived among these people for so long. But I couldn't force her to be here, it would only ruin any ability of her working friendly with the academy.

The Jedi Knight wasn't sure she really understood Ramon's reasoning, but it didn't bother her too much. She finished her dinner and took a drink of her beverage to wash it all down. "Well, I wish both of you success. Who knows how things will work out? The future is hard to read." She replied. Comforting others wasn't really her forte, nor was understanding emotional things. Frankly, since the death of her twin, she had just shut down internally. There was a great gaping hole in her psyche since the loss of Al'lana.

That it is dear, but the force guides us where we are meant to be. I replied smiling towards her. I Went back to finished my food, with the last scrap of food being washed down by my whiskey. I turned back to Auric. So How long will you be staying here Master Auric? I would much enjoy seeing both you and Miss Al'lara in your interactions with the padwans. I must admit I'm nervous about coming back and teaching. I'm not sure how they will take to me, or even how to go about it. Any pointers? I hoped that they would have plenty of pointers for me. I had been bogged by nervousness since I stepped foot on the planet with the goal of teaching. I had never taught anyone anything, let alone teaching someone to fallow the path of the light. It had come so natural to me that I figured that I would spend my life on the front lines fighting for the order, not back teaching. And if anyone denied being nervous when it came to molding the mind of young ones, I would bet they were lying. History had showed us even the smallest fault, turning an eye to something that seemed not right, could lead us to disaster. So I continued questioning if it was ready for such a task, but the only thing that held me strong so far was that I seemed surrounded by good natured people, and that the force would not have guided me here if it did not see a need for me here.

“I hadn’t actually decided if i was staying and even if i did stay, i am not sure …”
my comment was cut off as a device on my belt began beeping… my com link. reaching for it i saw that in the inbox Diamonte had sent me a message using the subject line “Kouta Watanabe” an alias of mine that i would assume in prior times to help Monte, or his father Iríto when discretion was needed and i had to act under the table.
“Please forgive my rudeness… my friend… the one who designs ships, he is in a bit of a pickle and needs some tactical help… lets see. *I began to skim the message’s skip code and interpreting out the key words* Yavin, mission, Terrorists, Reinforcements, Rawkill, Starnet. … just wizard.”
and with that i placed the com link face down on the table and removed from my satchel what to the world looked like a ring box, but instead was a specially designed data chip carrying case. removing the back from the com link reveals a peculiar shaped chip slot… one that was perfectly fit by the hexagonal chip in the black box.
“there we go… need a moment to connect up to the Stars… bingo… and last time i used the file it was under… right Gigot’s report on Kuat”
what i didn’t show the two sitting with me was connected to the site like gum under a table was a document of files and ciphers that Diamonte had entrusted to me as backup many of his security codes to Yavin. he believed that while the station was on lock down, the programs that could be used to unlock it needed to be kept safe from those that he believed could not be trusted… he asked me to move a copy of the files somewhere i would remember it in case he was taken off the board.
Taking a quick moment, i detached the files from their former host site and down to my data pad. then a quick search of the directories directed me to his location and the fact that Rawkill was using what amounted to an unauthorized Starnet chip… so as i wrote my message with a stabilizing virus dubbed as Code:Peace. should Rawkill follow my directions normally star net would block the access as the chip equated to a forgery. the viral code would stabilize the chip long enough for the files to be downloaded.
once the message was away, i considered lying to the people at the table about what i just did… i just didn’t feel right about it, these people had earned my trust.
“Again… i apologize… My friend, Diamonte Tuhlute, was in a spot of trouble for a moment, and his message was asking me to transmit confidential documents he had entrusted to me to someone else in the situation along a subnetwork he calls starnet. ... What had you asked me about Ramon-chi?”

"Two of the more recent arrivals in terms of padawan-hopefuls would be Xeres and Dak. Either of them would probably be delighted to speak with you, Ramon, if you are serious about staying here on Corellia for some time. Or, if you desired to mentor one of them, I am sure they would follow you wherever the Order called you."
Al'lara had noticed Auric's busyness, though sensing that he would prefer to keep things private, she did not draw attention to his actions. Instead, she further inquired of Ramon, and Auric when he should be a of a mind to speak, "What are your thoughts concerning the Order? Particularly as it centers upon Coruscant?"

-5- "She is human, slender build, about one meter seventy..." As the twilek started talking she became all serious. She had made a couple jokeing lines and was casual up untill now. Her face was tense, her gaze focussed, and you did not need to be a jedi to see dark feelings turmoil in the woman as she started to remove her left hand, finger for finger screwing them off. Her left hand was a prosthetic, it seemed. Pressing it in three different parts made the fingers loosen, and she was removing them one by one as she was talking, placing them in the pattern they are supposed to be on a hand.-5- "...She had whitened hair, but she may colour it to be light brown. She should be working with media, commercials and the like, and be active in art circles. She came here ten to twenty years ago. She wares local fascion..." The fingers were gone, and then, she turned the left hand in an unnatural angle and removed it, placing it on the table.-5- "... She may not know we are looking for her, that we know she still is alive, that is why she still may live for her passions. If she DOES know, we will have trouble finding her..." Her left arm was just a stump ending in a mechanical docking station for the prostetic hand. The right one she bit in two places, one in the hand, and one in the underarm. The hand loosened, and laid in front of the twilek woman. She was a frightful sight, a woman dedicated to anger and revenge, with no hands to communicate her vengeance into the material world.-5- "What I want to do, Master Jedi? I want justice. No more. No less." She was told not to lie in matters not concerning her order or her mistresses, and she did not. All she wanted was her old captors hands in a jar to look at. Five's nervous habit was slightly disconcerting, especially when she began removing pieces of what the Jedi had previously taken to be flesh, not machine. And as she realized just how much of the stranger's arms were really missing, she felt a pang of sympathy and sorrow. But Kay'li was a skilled Jedi Knight, and she worked to keep her focus on the important matters, such as the dark turmoil that had once again risen to the surface in the former slave. "I see. Well, we can start by searching the planetary immigration records. Some things are hard to alter or conceal, such as her natural height, so we can focus on those traits." Her eyes narrowed slightly, deep in thought. A decade's worth of immigration data would take them years to sort on a planet like Corellia, especially with all the war refugees that had passed through about five years ago. That would never work without a more specific clue. "But we're going to be hunting through an awful lot of records, unless you can narrow the date down more precisely." That last statement, about wanting justice, bothered the Corellian woman slightly. Five had not said whose justice she wanted --- and it was either a completely meaningless lapse, or a very intentional omission. But the Jedi said nothing for now. She recognized that forbidding the other woman to continue her search would just lead to her continuing it secretly, and without authorization. It would be better for her, as Corellia's Watchwoman, to be an open participant in the search, so that she could keep an eye on Five, and prevent any sort of private vengeance from being enacted.Kay'li sighed, and expertly tossed her empty caf cup into a nearby waste bin, then gathered herself to stand up. "Our best bet is to go downtown to the Capitol Tower. I can't give you direct access, but immigration will let me run searches, no questions asked." She winked. "They think I'm boring."

-5- "In my opinion, if bureaucrats think you are boring they will do the thing you want fast so you leave, and dont get distracted."
Capitol Tower. That sounded... important. Good.
-5- "She fled Anobis three years ago. It is from there we traced her here. She came to this planet as Sandra Smith, surely a made up name, it sounds stupid. On anobis she had arrived with one name and manadged to change to an other, so I guess that is what she did here too. If you can give me a couple of days I can come up with a picture from memmory and paint it. Rest of her statistics I will write down, as well as I remember. I... I thank you a lot. On a personal level. I am happy I came to you, and didnt just... you know... break in to places. I hope I will be able to repay you in kind."
She said, not yet knowing about the corulag information she "gave" Nala in the "future".

As they neared the common dining hall Tantin's ears twitched as he straightened up and peered about from Nala's arms. She smiled.
"I am not surprised. But tell me, do you prefer to catch your own, or eat what has already been prepared?"
The habits of Kushiban were unknown to her and she hoped the young alien wouldn't take offense. Tchunn's tip twitched against the fur of Tantin's neck as Nala classified 'yellow' with 'hungry' in terms of his mood-fur.
Noting his sudden silence, the Twi'Lek shrugged.
"Don't let the opinions of others bother you. What matters is that you are content and at peace, here," with her right hand she gently tapped his chest, "I learned to dance." Tantin shrugged at the question. He liked fish raw or cooked, but too much would upset his stomach, which was used to mainly plants and vegetables."Well, my parents never really made any very much. Too much makes us sick. We eat plants. Fish is tasty though." Tantin's fur went back to its normal white color completely as he began to think positively about his lack of childhood friends. That, and the smell of the Dining Hall. He closed his eyes and took in the smells as he took a few deep breaths. Opening them up his Kushiban smile grew wider."You can learn how to dance here? I wonder if I can learn. I'm not sure how many dances are made for Kushibans though..."

Nala watched as Tantin's nose twitched when the approached a long buffet at the end of the room. If she set him down, how would he reach it? And she didn't have more than two hands herself.
"Tantin, have you mastered basic telekinesis yet?"
If so, he could choose the lettuces and fish that he wanted as she invisibly slid a tray with two plates on it down the counter. If not, it was a good time to practice. Or, she'd simply get his food for him. But, she had provided him with an initial choice, so he had some control over his immediate destiny. She imagined that feeling powerless was not a good thing.
Nala laughed, a deep musical laugh, lek-tips twitching in amusement.
"I did not learn here, little Kushiban. I was trained on Ryloth. I'm a Twi'Lek...what do you know of us?" she inquired curiously, vastly tickled by the idea of a furry little Kushiban in the midst of a sensuous Twi'Lek dance-off.

Tantin shook his head.
"I only know a bit. I haven't really started my Force training yet..."
Tantin's ears went down, out of embarrassment.
"I can stand on the edge. I don't shed my fur very much yet...."
Tantin tilted his head as he tried to think of anything he knew about Twi'leks.
"Not much. I already told Master Calix that we don't really have that many libraries on Kushibah. We're pretty..sec-secluded."
Tantin stumbled on the slightly more difficult word, having heard it but not knowing fully what it meant. All he knew was it was the right word.

Tchunn gently stroked the fuzzy Kushiban's droopy ears.
"Don't worry, it wasn't meant as a reproach. We were all there once."
She smiled warmly as she set him down on the edge of the counter and picked up the tray.
"What would you like to eat? Some salad?"
She picked up a pair of tongs and waited.
"Secluded, yes. Isolated from the rest of the universe? Let's just say that Twi'Leks are often sold as dancers in pleasure houses. You know what this means, yes?"
Nala winked at him with a small suggestive shiver of her lekku as a hint.

Tantin stretched his legs when Nala let him down, closing his eyes as he stretched out his now stiff hind legs. Opening them and blinking a few times, Tantin stood up on his hind legs, only coming up to about the Twi'lek's knees. He jumped up and grabbed the ledge of the buffet and hoisted himself up. He might be small but that did not mean he could not take care of himself, and he felt he needed to prove it sometimes. This was one of those times. He balanced on the edge with ease. He was well centered, and he made sure not to step to close to anything. Others might be afraid to find Kushiban hair in their food, though he was determined not to let that happen.
"Pleasure means fun, right? So they took other Twi'lek's off Ryloth to have fun in houses?"
Tantin did not fully understand the meaning Nala was implying being young and more than a bit naive, and the body language with her lekku were lost on him. He noticed every movement she made, but the translation of body language between species, especially two so different, was completely different. Tantin edged over to where the trays were stacked up and lifted one up with his hands. Then he began to edge back over to the where the salad was, getting another pair of tongs. The tongs almost foiled his small paw-hands, but he grasped one side with each hand and used both to operate the tongs and put some of the leafy greens on his tray. He looked over to Nala with a big smile on his face.
"I can do it."
Tantin continued to inch his way down the buffet, balancing on the edge, picking up a few strips of grilled bluefish, and a few pieces of some kind of citrus smelling fruit he did not recognize for dessert.

Nala smiled warmly as the small creature stretched then agilely leaped up to the counter, fluffy tail curling in the air jauntily. She applied a couple pinches of salad to her plate before moving further down the line.
"More accurately to provide fun, but I think you should ask your Master about this," she adroitly shifted the subject of that conversation onto another being's shoulders and inquired, "speaking of which, who is your Master? Unless I miss my guess you are a recent arrival on Corellia."
Her lekku twitched in silent laughter, "Yes, that you can." She hoped he wouldn't fall into an oddly purple, jello-like substance that made her wrinkle her nose as she swiftly moved along and helped herself to an aromatic stew, and a few pieces of fruit.
"Where shall we sit?"

Tantin had set his tray on the edge of the buffet and hopped down, and was reaching up to get it down when he nodded his head.
"I came here with Master Calix. We were on Felucia before. She wanted to come here to the Academy to start my training. We just arrived earlier today."
Tantin finally got the tray down and sniffed the fish and salad before looking around at the seats.
"Uhm...how about...over there?"
Tantin pointed over to the left, where he saw a table with some higher chairs for smaller species, as well as a few chairs for normally sized humanoids. He began to walk over on his hind legs, balancing the tray.
"Who are the Masters of this Temple? Are they nice?"

"Ah, this is good," she affirmed, "and are you both settling in well? Rooms to your liking?" Tchunn twitched gently, as she turned and looked in the direction he had indicated.
"That is suitable," she replied, noting that it would work tolerably for both of them. Luckily Corellia had accommodations for beings of many different species and builds. Otherwise things would have been uncomfortable.
She placed her tray on the table and slipped into her seat, smiling over at the floppy-eared Kushiban.
"There are several Masters in residence here," a smile twitched at her lips, "I'm one of them. But if you are referring to the Council?" one painted eyebrow arched interrogatively.

Von walked into the dining hall and looked around, the layout was different from that on Felucia. But the food was probably about the same so he wasn't expecting to much on that scale. Leaning his head back he let out an exhausted sigh and made his way over to the buffet styled spread. By the end of it he had about three plates filled with a multitude of different types of foods. All of which were probably not going to be consumed. Von didn't realize how tired he was until he had sat down at one of the tables, as he sat in his seat with his head leaned back and his eyes staring at the ceiling he heard a weird voice coming from his right. Looking over with just his eyes he saw some strange little fox thing speaking basic. Curious by it he stared intensely at it, from their point of view Von would come across as highly creepy and somewhat psychotic in how he was staring at the two of them. Though from the near sleep depervation and the small bursts of energy Von was somehow still standing or awake for that matter. Placing his hand down he began to feed himself as he continued to watch the little fox creature. Though Von wasn't to sure how much of his face could be seen with his hood still up.

Standing up, she turned and led the way out of the dining hall. At the door, she paused, and looked back at Five. "Oh, one other thing. Don't try to run away from me while we're in the city, ok? I know this planet very well, and I will find you again. All you will accomplish is wasting time." She said it in a light-hearted tone, but she had no intention of letting the former slave girl escape. If there was another message from whatever Force-sensitive had sent her, the Jedi Knight sure didn't want to miss it.She knew 'Sandra Smith' could have found a way to have her name -- and maybe even her planet of origin -- changed in the immigration rolls, but having a time frame to work from would help. And they could work the slaver's habits against her. They would cross reference every immigrant from that year against those who subsequently applied for a name change, and that ought to narrow the list to a manageable number. From there, they could either look for holorecords of each immigrant's face, as well as biomarkers like height and species.Departing the Jedi Academy, she led the way downtown to the Coronet Capitol Tower, by way of the elevated mag-lev train.

He spoke between bites."My room is almost as big as my home back on Kushibah. It's amazing." Tantin continued to chomp down on the lettuce and smiled at the taste. It tasted freshly grown. Maybe a garden? He would have to ask. He liked to garden. It was a favorite past time for many Kushiban."You're a master? Wow. You must be very strong. Master Calix is strong too. But who are the other masters?" Tantin figured this was a good as chance as any to slip in the question about the food."Is the food grown in a garden here?"

Nala's painted eyebrows arched curiously. "What is your house on Kushiban like, if one may inquire?" she asked, while spearing a bite of something that looked a bit like lettuce, though it had red streaks through its leaves.
The green alien woman chuckled quietly, lekku twitching in amusement. "Strength is a matter of perspective, Tantin. I am no Guardian, rather I serve as the Healer of this Academy."
She took a couple bites of her salad before continuing. "Well, there's Will Son'tir and Kel'Al Raganella, both humans and residents of Corellia for a long time. Serrin Roma used to be a large presence here. She was like me," Tchunn drooped over her shoulder sadly. Nalatua'lin valued the company of other Twi'Leks. "And the halls still feel empty without her. And lastly, Ael Jade, she has not been here as long as the others, but I am told she came at the personal request of Master Roma."
Her voice trailed off as she picked up her glass and took a drink. Replacing it on the table she took a tentative bite of one of the fruit slices on her plate. Noting that Tantin seemed to have attracted the attention of a young one a few tables away in a rather pointed fashion, she drew his attention to that fact, obliquely referring to Von, "Seems you have an admirer?"
She nodded, "Yes, we have extensive gardens." As the furry Kushiban's nose twitched excitedly, she smiled warmly. "I can show you them, or tell you how to find them yourself?"
