Terra nodded, having become quite close with Ralph, although "quite close" might be an understatement, as their relationship had gone from being friends to an actual romance. Her face turned a little red as she lowered her gaze to the floor and nodded."Um...well...Ralph and I are...er..."She paused, wondering if she should really tell Jade about how far her relationship with Ralph had gone. While they hadn't gone 'all the way', she still wondered if Jade would frown upon her and Ralph having become so close.

Jade paused, still leaning over the table as she stacked silverware on her plate. She set down her glass and reached across the table to quickly clasp the girl's hand in her own gloved one before releasing her, picking up the glass, and turning to head over to the end of the Hall to turn in her dishes. "That's good. You can help each other out then." She noticed her blush and wondered how much or how little Terra might know about the ways of the world. She was far from judging the padawan for her behavior, particularly given her own experience in these things. There was nothing to be ashamed of. She invited Terra to join her with a nod. "You know, caring about someone is not a bad thing, Terra. It can make you stronger." Warmth sparkled in the depths of her eyes, "Until proven otherwise, I choose to believe the best." Her words belied many of her experiences, but in spite of history, she was making a choice for herself, and with any luck it would help those around her as well. "This is the new Jedi Order. Just don't let him distract you from important things like your upcoming Trials."

Terra was relieved that Jade didn't seem to mind at all that her relationship with Ralph had become so close, but the older woman had made a good point in that she shouldn't let it distract her from her Trials. She wondered if Serrin would have said the same thing, but since she wasn't here, there was no way to know.
She looked up at Jade and nodded."OK...um...thanks."

"No problem. And now, if you're through?" She pointed at Terra's plate, then walked off to dispose of her own dishes. She put them in the appropriate bins and then headed back across the room.

Terra smiled and followed Jade to put her plate away, figuring that they were going to go and spar now. After disposing of the dishes, she followed Jade across the room.

The two of them headed off to find an unused training room. Jade glanced over at Terra, then looked away. She reached down and steadied the lightsaber hilt swinging on her left hip. It was heavier than her own and it still carried burn marks that had been too deeply incised to be removed while keeping the hilt intact. She motioned silently, and they turned left down a corridor.

Following Al'lara my stomach growled at the mention of food, and shortly the smell followed. Aye, it had been awhile since I had eaten and the offer of food and ale made me happy. As we entered the the Mess hall I looked around at the people eating and talking. I felt slightly out of place, and oddly dressed. Though I have my casual tip of my hat to those who i caught taking notice of me. For food Ill take what ever you recommend, and Ill take a whiskey to wash it downIt a shame when all you're raised to now is fighting. I could help but feel a bit of pity for her. Though I wasn't sure how she felt about it, It just seemed wrong to me.Aye, combat comes in handy, but its a shame you were not shown more outside of fighting. There's a lot to appreciate outside of combat.......Myself I was raised on Taris tell I was inducted to the Jedi order. I learned quick and was knighted after some years. Though its been awhile since I've have been among them.

Al'lara led the way over to an unoccupied table and sat down across from Ramon. "I generally just keep it simple. The purpose of food is to provide one with enough energy to keep going, and once that is achieved," she shrugged eloquently. When a waitress walked over she ordered a tall glass of Corellian ale without hesitation, looking up only when she heard an indrawn breath as the waitress offered her opinion: "You're not going to drink yourself under tonight again, are you?" Al'lara nearly retorted by saying it wasn't any of her business. Instead, she shook her head, not looking over at Ramon either. After she'd disappeared with his order, Al'lara finally met his gaze.
"I would think so. But, I've never had the time or inclination to pursue a more peaceful calling."

Kay'li didnt have to dig deep to find deception. It was there, udner the surface. She was badly or none trained against prodding with the force, she didnt even notice in any ways. Question is, what is she deceptive about? There was a clean stench of fear and thoughts of care on the surface too. Whatever had happened, it changed the twilek slave from her calm.-5- "Not for me to tell. They are a bit childish like that. Not sith, if that is what you fear. They hunt sith, maybe better then you. Just a few month back we destroyed a slaver camp that was held up by a sith. Good times." She smiled a creepy, cold smile. No deception there."What... what did I say? Do?" She would be a bad posessed if she were not curious to what message she had told. Even if she knew it allready. The Jedi Knight tried to keep the sentiment out of her face, but inwardly she smiled. The Twi'lek knew, but she was afraid to tell. Deception was written all over her, along with the fear. But what kind of deception? Five seemed agitated, perhaps because she feared her masters, or perhaps because she feared the Knight, or feared that her deception would be discovered. But Kay'li hadn't broken the deception yet, and so instead she sought to disarm the stranger, sending subtle feelings of calm and trust and friendship toward her through the Force. She needed to win the Twi'lek's trust somehow. If Five believed the Jedi genuinely wanted to help, maybe she would open up a little more. "The only thing I fear is failure to interpret this message correctly. I have dealt with the Sith many times, and I have proven that we need not always come to violence." She replied calmly, staring back at the creepy, almost bloodlustful smile with one of peace and self-assurance. The last question gave her a second's pause, as she considered the possible motivations for it's asking. Did the Twi'lek really not know, or was she just pretending? And if she were faking ignorance, was that simply to sell the deception, or was she fishing for a reaction from the Knight? There was one rather obvious answer, however, even if it did feel a little smart. If the Twi'lek wanted information, she was going to have to start filling in the gaps herself as well."I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm supposed to tell you what you said. If your master - or mistress - had wanted you to know the contents of their message, wouldn't they have let you hear it?" She watched intently to gauge the stranger's reaction, especially to the gender-specific identifiers. It would be a little harder for her to get a read on a Twi'lek than on a human, but she hoped she would be able to detect something, either about who had sent the messenger, or about how much the messenger knew.

She grinned.
-5- "I dont know Jedi master Ragnella. Sith have only brought pain and suffering to my people, may it be twileks, slaves or the Masters."
Then, as the jedi showed her own kind of logic, Five smiled in her mind. Not the "I know more then you smile" but the "Well played" smile. All she could answer to that was this.
-5- "You tell me, Jedi Master, you know a lot more about the Force then me. I am just a voice in the dark."
They were just finished with their meal. The carnivorious twilek had consumed a nice amount of farm animal parts, even a Gamorrean would be impressed. In truth, her way here was on a low budget and she had to feed two people. This was the first really .
-5- "I need to know a couple of things first. Will you allow me to stay here in the academy, or should I find lodging in the city? Will I be confined in the academy? I would not like to be. I have things to do outside. For one, I have to track down an ex master to one of my sisters, see if he is still alive. I wouldnt mind help with that, if you want to be sure it is done... well, nicely. Some of my sisters dont take kindly to old masters."
She put it nicely. Too nicely. For one, this old master was actually her own old master. Being sent here, that was a reason. But seeing as she would have to work with pacifist wizards while doing her duty to herself, she would have to mix and match. She offered one truth, to hide an other. She didnt say a word about her new recruit.
-5- "I would also want to know what kind of restrictions you would place on my stay, if I am allowed that is. I dont want to break any rules or trust I am not aware of. And I have to apologise for my masters secrecy. Many of my sisters and masters are in very dangerous positions, and if they would be found out, I would have a lot of funerals to go on. I may not be able to answer any questions. In time all will be revealed."
This was true. Atia was in deep mando territory, some Banshee groups were sent out on recon missions, trying to find where the mandos actually hit, or will hit, and not to mention Dathomir. Dathomir had a gun to its head.

They were very reasonable questions, but at the same time, there were a lot of factors that the young Sentinel had to consider before she could make a full answer. She didn't want the Twi'lek to run away until she had some more answers to the message or the apparent possession, nor did she want the former slave to come to the attention of any spies that might be lurking in Coronet. The Jedi Knight nodded slowly as she took a moment to compose her thoughts before responding. "You may stay here as our guest. That won't be any trouble, and once you see the hotel prices around here, you'll be thankful you're staying for free." She winked. "Plus, if your mysterious masters need to send me another message, we wouldn't want them to miss out on the opportunity, would we?" She hoped that made it sound like staying at the academy was an honor and a privilege, not a confinement.
"You are free to roam the academy, although like any non-Jedi, you will be restricted from some areas, such as the hangars, the archives, and the council chambers." She continued to gaze at Five intently, and now her look became even more thoughtful. Something about the request seemed a little off. It was too nice, too good to be true. "As far as leaving the academy, I would prefer that you only do so with an escort. I don't know how much your masters have told you, but the Jedi Order is at war, and any non-Jedi visitors to the academy could become targets for violence." It was phrased as a preference, but it was really intended to be a rule. She hoped that the Twi'lek's response would reveal how firmly she needed to enforce the rule.
"As for locating this ex-master of your sister, you've come to the right place: that's one of my jobs. How can I help?

She leaned back. She kinda suspected she would have a "guest" status, which would make her duties harder to preform. She will have to find a way around that. She felt fortunate that she had found a new recruit on her way here. Contemplating her options, she DID become highly intrested in the jedis offer to help.
-5- "Yes, Jedi master Raganella, how CAN you? Where would you start, if you had to hunt down a slave mistress who has changed identity upon moving to corellia? What do I have... lets see... I have the approximate time when she moved, I have height, age, race, but... she might be a lot older then when I saw her last. She also might be in the media business. She made commersials on juvex a long time ago.
I dont think she deals with slavery anymore, the laws and police here on Corellia are too well organised for that, but she is a criminal none the less, and she took something from me that I will never get back. So.... Jedi Master, what is our first step?"

I followed Al’lara to her seat and say down across from her, sweeping my cloak out from under me so that I would sit on it. It felt nice to sit and eat in a place where one didn't have to watch there back. The waitress approached and witnessing the exchange of words between the two ladies made me laughing. Drawing the attention of the waitress, I apologized and order something light and a whiskey to wash it down. I bowed my head as she left turning my attention back to Al’laraYou are right it supposed to nourish you, I never forgot that. But saying I didn't indulge myself while I was away would be a lie. Truth be told I enjoyed it to.Reaching towards my right shoulder I undid the clasp that held my cloak in place allowing to swing and hang from my left. Doing the same to the left side I removed the cloak and laid it next to me, revealing the armor adorned my body. Last but not least I removed my hat and placed it on the cloak next to me running my right hand through my hair. Truth be told I would probably be the same If I had not left when I did. But now I feel I should come back and do what I can to help, rather it be teaching or anything else. Whatever the master of this academy thinks is necessary.

The youngish woman across from Ramon shot a glare at him as he laughed. "Things happen. Don't be so fast to judge." She'd lay good money on him having done the same or worse on more than one occasion. "Still, to surviving." She raised her glass in a toast.
"The Academy here seems to be run more by a loose council of masters as opposed to a single headmaster. At least for now. Teachers are always in demand. Are you looking for a padawan?" She inquired, turning the conversation away from herself and why she'd been drinking so heavily before. The death of her twin was not something she really wanted to talk about with a complete stranger, although, with enough alcohol that might happen.

Emilie bounced into the Dining Hall between Eremiel and Jared Lionel keeping up a voluble stream of informative chatter regarding the academy and the kitten she'd found out in the gardens. She wove through the tables and finally selected one near a large window. "Here we go," she brightly announced and promptly sat down.

As I walked into the dining hall, I saw that whoever was supposed to attend to guarding the fridge had taken a break, so sneaking into the kitchen, I assembled the parts of what would be my usual supper when I wasn't directly working under mr. Kryze. Tonight those parts included,
Grinding the capsule into a fine powder was the job of a mortar and pestle that I had found somewhere within the complex of cooking utensils. From there the powder was dumped into a blender with the other ingredients and set to a speed where a shake would be created from the edible carnage. Once I had gotten as much of the product out of the blender that any Jedi could, I washed and put away any utensils I had used.
When I got to my seat I nearly squealed like a little girl to realize that on the holostore, angry droids earth wars 2 was free to download during the week of life day. This game allowed you to play either as the noble demodroids, who were just trying to make the world hunky dory. Or the evil conservatrons, who by the end of the movie, the way the movies panned out you just hated. Although by the end of the animated holoshow, that anyone who gave two hoots about the series in general said that it sucked, you saw a more human side of the conservatrons. Either way, this game was awesome. I watched as I easily scored 3 stars on early missions. Something was bound to happen sooner or later

Walking into the dining hall I saw master Ulshade goofing around by playing with holotoys. On some level I marveled at the fun he was having, but the other side of me just wanted to get going. Finding a bit of grub for me to be able to chow down upon, I sat down at the table across from Auric and waited for him to notice me from his game.
After fifteen levels of destruction, I had clean out two plates of food. So carefully I coughed
"Happy advent of life master."

When monte spoke up I realized that I had been playing the game for several hours. My shake was still there, though the cream had melted. And, although I had entered the place in the light of early mornings, now the sun was setting signifying it was 17 hundred once again.
"And to you, lil' buddy... I trust your time here has been restful?"

Stealing the last mini pie from my plate, I thought about the situation. I felt more resolved now to leave for bakura. But I could not deny that the time had not settled some point of frustration that had arisen during the college of masters meeting on coruscant.
"My time here has stilled some of my anxiety"
Then I asked the question
"So, if I say I still am considering going absent for bakura, what soporific would you use this time, and where would I wake up next?"

I stood from my seat and went toward the kitchen and took a couple pieces of Strudel. and for the most I considered what Mr. Kryze tasked me with. I had to make sure this was the boy’s own choice and nothing, Sleep, anxiety, nor guilt were persuading him to his conclusion. but at the same time I knew that when Monte chose his path, there were few that could change the mind. at some level i had hoped that a member of the Jedi High council could persuade him. Barring that, i decided it was best to let him go on his way
“No further locations. you are free to go with my blessing. All i ask, is keep yourself in communication. in case someones needs your talents in the future.”
Passing him a Strudel, i expected him to leave happy, seemingly forgetting something
