The pilot leaned back in his chair and sighed, he had told this story about 30 times already. Usually he would have embellished this story to new heights but it was strange in its own way. cracking his neck the pilot pulled out a thin cigerrete and lit the end, inhaling slowly. As he exhaled he looked into his wine and began to speak.
I've been a pilot for about 15 years now, my buddy maybe 12. Now you see a lot of strange things in this universe, especially if you get a route like my friend Andrew. He's the buddy I was talking about, now we trade stories a lot and sometimes mine can be better than his and vice versa. This one was strange even for outer rim standards, I mean once you hear this story it will really make you wonder whats up with this. Anyway I my buddy told me about this passenger he picked up on Korriban, now I really shouldn't be telling you this because we have certain planets were just not suppose to go to. An if you pay the right amount of money will take you to such planet. Well I don't know if Andrew is crazy or just greedy but he is the only one willing to go to Korriban. Well anyway, he tells me that while he was loading and unloading this boy probably around 15 or 16 comes up to him and asks him how much it costs to get to Felucia. Now this is where it gets weirdThe pilot finishes of the last of the wine just as the droid comes by with more.

Johun listens intently at the man's story, arms crossed and chin resting between the thumb and index finger of his right hand. The boy was already on Korriban? Probably of Sith heritage, or training. Johun would definitely need to go to Felucia to investigate this. It wasn't everyday a young Sith left Korriban...

The man continues his story
Now the weird part is this, when my buddy tells him the price this kid tries to pay in teeth. An not just any teeth, dear god when my buddy told me what they were from I nearly shit my pants. This kid had a bag full of Terentatek teeth. I thought them things were just monsters to keep kids from being bad, didn't think they were real let alone so easy to kill. I mean he had tons of them, anyway he tried to use them as payment. Now we all know that wasn't going to pass, but my buddy was compliant with the kid even after he saw this kid with scars head to toe all over his chest and back. This kid didn't speak very good basic so communication was a bit off at first but they managed to come to an agreement on pay. Now we have a strict no weapon policy with our company and when my buddy told this kid that. Well you can imagine he didn't take it all to well, the kid got pretty angry and didn't want to let go. You know my buddy described that sword he carried and I thought he was pulling my leg but. The old stories about the first republic fighting those soldiers in the shadows. Those dark evil creatures using swords of evil that could stand up to your strange swords, well that kid had one. An he didn't want to let it go, he even used some of that magic you Jedi can use. Don't think the kid knew it though, my buddy didn't appreciate it though. Anyway, back to the story my buddy let the kid get on the ship and keep his sword if he just behaved. An the kid did just that, when he arrived on Felucia he just left. Not saying a word, you know between you and me I think that kid was a ghost. Because their is no way a kid would be found on Korriban, let alone be able to kill a Terentatek
The pilot poured himself one last cup and drank it slowly he did not get up, he just waited to hear what the man said about his story.

Johun just sat a minute contemplating the man's story. This kid sounded like he had some Sith training. It told one of great skill to kill a Terentatek. No, Johun believed this story, and knew he had to find this "ghost".
Where on Felucia, did your friend drop the boy off at? And how long ago?
Hopefully it hadn't been terribly long, less the boy not even be on F0elucia anymore. Johun definitely wouldn't be able to distinguish him there, as Felucia held a strong DarkSide presence. He need to a starting point, and a time frame.

The pilot tried to think of where his buddy dropped him off.
Actually he didn't say where, but I can tell you that we usually drop them off at the Jedi base. Its safer for us then the passengers, and I would say about a day ago. I don't think that boy is leaving any time soon. That kid kept talking about how he's never once seen a plant. I think he will stay there awhile. But I am sure you might be able to get there from here in a week if you travel at safe speed. Why do you ask.

Johun nodded. Good, maybe he didn't stray too far from the Jedi outpost there. Hopefully they saw him, and recognized his, uniqueness. Johun knew he had to leave straight away. He took a data pad out of his robes, and sent a message to Arnie, his R9 Astromech droid.
Arnie, load the Patronus into the cargo bay of the Libero and prep for departure, we are going to Felucia.
Well, I plan on going to Felucia to find this boy. If what your friend told you is true, then he may pose a threat to the native population of Felucia. At the very least I would like to speak to him about who he is and where he originates from.
Johun stood, and slightly bowed to the pilot. Johun headed for the door, but spoke to the man as he left.
I certainly appreciate your story. May the Force be with you.

The pilot raised his glass and then slumped over the table, he had gone way past his limit.

Jade had looked up as Johun Starfield passed Terra and herself. The last she'd seen of him had been on Carida. A brief nod acknowledged his presence although as he headed off and shortly ended up in conversation with someone else, she didn't say anything. Instead, she munched away on her salad, washing the bland food down with equally bland water.
I smiled over at Terra, wondering how best to offer to continue her training without making it seem like I was 'taking over.' That was the last thing I wished to do. Serrin Roma and I went way back, before she'd even been awarded the famous Corellian Bloodstripe. In fact, I'd be more than happy to see her again, and the sooner the possible. I would not mind discussing a few matters of my own with her.
"Well, Terra, the question seems to be your own for answering. What do you wish to do in the matter of your further training?" Jade sipped from her glass, replaced it on the table, then leaned her chin upon her hand, elbow on the table, as she looked across at Terra Kiros. "Until such a time as Serrin reappears, I am willing to do what I can for you, if you so desire."

Terra's thoughts hadn't really been on her training the last few days, though the little vacation she had with Ralph had been to help her clear her head. It was safe to say that the camping trip hadn't exactly cleared her head. But now she needed to focus on the Trials ahead, though it was almost like she would need a second vacation to clear her head from the first one...
She shrugged."I....honestly don't know."

Jade considered for a few moments as she took another crunchy bite of salad. Then, she set down her silverware and looked over at Terra, unsure whether it would help to ask about the events of the past few days or not. Besides, such a question might provoke a similar query from Terra, and the older woman was not yet sure how she would answer that. It would definitely bring up more than one issue in a grey area, something the padawan probably didn't need at this point in time. She reached up to affix her gold and jet hairsticks a touch more firmly in place, not that they were about to fall out or anything, she simply was still a bit bowled over by the knowledge of what they contained. She picked up her glass and took a drink of water before replacing it between the two of them.
"Well, I believe you have completed two of the traditional Trials: Skill and Insight? Did Serrin mention any plans for your continued training?" She thought back to her own Trials, definitely not traditional, and more recently to a series of highly involved Trials back on Naboo. Still, that was decades ago. In fact, she and Terra really hadn't talked much since that initial conversation when Ralph had joined them shortly after arriving on Corellia. Maybe it would be easiest to go back to the beginning and figure things out from there. "What brought you to the life of a Jedi, Terra? Specifically, to this academy on Corellia."

Terra shook her head, Serrin having not spoken of the next Trial to be taken, or what the plan was for tackling them."No she didn't..."She sighed when Jade asked her about what had brought her to Corellia, and she felt like she had told this story to everyone else already, and yet Jade probably didn't know or Serrin hadn't filled her in. Either way, she would have to tell her story yet again, and she really didn't feel like doing so, feeling like she was tired of constantly having to revisit her past.
She shrugged and looked down."I...someone brought me here...I'm sorry I'm just...I don't want to tell the whole story again."

"That's fine. Moving on though, where you do feel that your training has so far led you?" She thought that Terra might have an inkling of where Serrin was leading things, once she got passed the trauma that Jade had called up in her memory. After this she'd go look up Serrin's files and see if her old friend still documented things. It would speed up this process greatly. Jade considered Terra across the table, gloved fingers tapping the edge of her half-empty glass. The padawan did not, on the surface at least, exhibit much anticipation of what the future might hold. And, all too soon perhaps the Mandalorian Jihad might turn towards Corellia. A furrow appeared between her eyebrows, "How comfortable are you with combat? By this point I would guess you have a good working knowledge of forms I and III?"

Truth be told, Terra didn't like to fight if she could avoid it, but so far, she hadn't fought with anything she couldn't handle. And her skills with a lightsaber had progressed rapidly, leading her to further suspect that the parts of her past that she couldn't remember were spent learning to fight. So far, her training with the Jedi had indeed been with Form I and they had briefly touched on Form III, but Terra had felt very uncomfortable with the latter form. She had begun to branch off into Form IV, feeling that the form's focus on the Force and agility helped her make up for her relative lack of strength.
She shrugged."Form I, yes. But...I've actually been studying Form IV lately. I didn't feel comfortable with Form III."

Jade grimaced understandingly. Despite the Order's habitual insistence upon the importance of Soresu, she had several problems with it. "I have never gotten along with it either, Terra. Soresu is useful for buying time and that is about it. On its own, Form III is liable to get you killed in an actual combat situation. I have found a more direct approach to work better," she realized naturally that this was often not a welcome opinion among the more experienced members of the Jedi Order as it skated a bit closer to the Dark Side than they were comfortable with. But, having come this far, Jade was familiar with her limitations and outlook upon life. She'd tried a stint of traditionalism, and it left her feeling empty and unsatisfied. She was much more at peace with herself now that she'd accepted herself for what she was and stopped trying to fit into a cookie-cutter mold.
Terra seemed a bit diffident, and in Jade's experience, combat training at least was something most padawans tended to enjoy, at least initially since it encompassed the more glamourous aspects of Jedi-hood. She wondered what the young woman was holding back, but she was confident she'd figure it out in time.

Terra nodded, agreeing mostly with what Jade was saying. Ataru felt more natural for her and she felt it helped her make up for her lack of size and strength. She was glad that Jade was supportive of that, as she got the feeling that Serrin would have preferred that her Padawan learn something more in tune with the Jedi philosophy. It had never been brought up before, as Serrin had never brought it up nor had ever discouraged her from practicing Form IV.
She nodded."Yeah. Ataru feels more...natural to me. It comes easy."

Jade looked up at Terra directly, momentarily uneasy about something. "It comes easy" the padawan had advanced as one of her reasons for choosing Form IV. It jangled on Jade's nerves like a bell that was just a hair off balance. She blinked. It probably was nothing. "Well, after dinner settles, let's see where you're at." Though it was a statement, she pitched it as a suggestive interrogative. She and Terra hadn't yet had time to forge as close a bond as she and Serrin had had, and they were still getting to know each other.

Terra assumed that Jade meant a spar, and she nodded. She did need to keep her skills up after all, and if Jade was going to help her, she needed to know where Terra was at skillwise."OK. I'm almost done."It only took her a few more minutes to finish her food and drink, and once she was done, she pushed her tray aside. She wished Serrin were still here but if there was anyone else to be her master, it was nice that Jade was there to step in. Hopefully they could learn to get along as well as she had gotten along with Serrin...

It had been a long time since Jade tried to reach out with someone so different from herself. Terra was young and so shy that she seemed to belong to an entirely different generation, which in fact was literally true, but in this case felt a bit more so. She'd just have to hope that the Force wouldn't lead her wrong and she'd be able to help Terra Kiros along her chosen path within the Jedi Order. She would have guessed that the padawan might choose the more peacelike "Insular" route, leading perhaps to a career in Healing. But, her fondness for Ataru might indicate a preference for a path more along the lines of the traditional Sentinel or Guardian classes. Soon enough now, she'd find out. "Take your time. There is no need to hurry at this point," she replied calmly. Wolfing down a meal followed by vigorous exercise was a quick way to indigestion and perhaps more serious internal issues later, potentially even culminating in those 'internal' issues becoming 'external.' She occupied the time by finishing her salad and water. It was spartan, tonight she'd eat more heartily.

Terra nodded and sat back, figuring it was fine if they sat back and let the meal settle. Serrin would have said the same thing, so it wasn't like it was anything new for her. Honestly, she wasn't sure what direction her training would take under Jade's guidance, and she suspected that it might be quite different under her than with Serrin.
Still, the problem with waiting was that she would have to try and make conversation, something that she had never been good at, even with Serrin or Ralph around. Quite honestly, she wasn't sure where to start so she simply nodded with Jade's suggestion to take it slow."OK."

Jade finished her meal in relative silence. She might have told Terra a bit about her own past, but it went against the grain to simply volunteer information to someone she didn't know very well. Also, in this particular instance, she wasn't sure if it would help gain Terra's confidence, or if it would seem like an attempt to pry a reciprocal sharing of information from herself. She stood up and collected her utensils and dishes. "So, have you made any friends or acquired any pets here on Corellia lately? Other than Selaya, I mean." She smiled. Her pet vornskr had remained on Corellia when she herself had traveled to Carida and even further, and she'd told the animal to look after Terra in her absence.
