With a small flash of multi-spectrum radiation, RSF-FS Restoration, a Imperial II-class SD, reverted to real space. The ship moved closer to Rendili proper and parked in a stationary orbit between the planet and the nearest point on the Corellian Trade Spine, the closest major hyperlane. Already in orbit over the planet are the RSF-PS Inveiglement, an Immobilizer-418, the RSF-PS Sentinel and RSF-PS Warden, both Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruisers, and the RSF-PS Proliferate, a DP-20 Frigate. They stood guard over the planet, and its famous shipyard Rendili StarDrive. The fleet was a new addition to the sector, a necessary one after Yuzzahn Vong raid, and the Hoth Cartel's assassination and bombing. Below the new fleet, Rendili was finally settling back into a semblance of normality. The RSF, Rendili Sector Fleet, vigilantly stood watch over the planet, ready to defend it should some new threat approach it.

In the blink of an eye an ugly little ship dropped out of the swirling blueness of hyperspace into the depressing blackness that is real space. The YV-929 held a single person inside, the Republic solider turned bounty hunter Bat Masterson. Having been listening to the HNN he had found a little back channel used no doubt by the Hoth Cartel, it seemed that they wanted Senators, dead or alive. Upon hearing this Bat had left his little slice of heaven and headed to a place still sore from wounds inflicted by other criminals, Rendili. Also ironically enough the reason the bounties were placed in the first place. Thumbing on the comm system the Balosar spoke into it hoping someone was listening. This thing on? The name is Jake Palmer, I am looking to land planet side heard a family member was hiring and well I need a job. Of course all of this was a lie but a convincing one, he was playing it as a drifter looking for a job in the shitty economy that has been happening since the decline and bankruptcy of the GEC. Not just that but he flipped a switch that put the IFF on which would signify his ship as that of a Jake Palmer, a little extra caution.

One of the Communications officers aboard the RSF-FS Restoration fielded the incoming freighter and subsequent landing request. When the sensor sweep didn't pick up any anomalies with the ship or pilots claims, the corporal responded with the appropriate approach vector, and landing co-ordinates.Jake Palmer, this is the Restoration, you have been cleared to land in Edethor. Please follow the designated path and obey all traffic instructions. Good luck with that job interview. The Corporal closed the comm channel to accommodate the next incoming freighter, traffic had picked back up to a steady flow of transports and freighters going to and from the system. So long as Mr. Palmer didn't crash, enter a restricted zone, or attack another ship he would be largely ignored by the sentient crews of the Rendili defense fleet.

Work in the vast shipyard of Rendili StarDrive continues at it's usual pace. Orders coming in a steady flow from various planetary and interplanetary organizations seeking facilities or ships with which to expand their meager empires. Fresh off the line, four blood-red, upgraded Dreadnaughts are receiving the last of their crew compliments, and are about to begin their shakedown cruise.
The upgrades include new weapons, shields, engines, and a vastly reduced crew requirement. Though it's performance was still slightly under-par for a ship of it's size in this day and age, these at least weren't completely outclassed by the newer combat vessels flooding the space lanes. Their effective performance ratings are as follows: With a length of 600 meters the ship is classified as a Cruiser. With a MGLT rating of just 40, it is easily out run even by most star destroyers. However, its new shield arrays, set to cover the hull in overlapping fields, and reinforced hull armor allow it to stand up to an Imperial I-class SD for several hours. The biggest contributing factor is the two large capacitor banks that drain Ion energy from the hull and then can feed it into the ship's shields allowing for rapid shield recovery. The weapons load out is slightly different from the older variants, including a chin mounted dual long range turbolaser, twenty LR turbolaser turrets(10 to a side), ten dual light turbolaser turrets(3 to either side, and two mounted on the dorsal and ventral surfaces, and three anti-fighter missile launchers holding fifteen missiles apiece(one to either side and one mounted over the bridge bulkhead. The ship requires a crew of forty-two hundred to operate it, the ship's advanced computer taking care of many of the menial tasks that required living crew in the older versions with out completely slaving most of the systems together. All in all, while a substantial improvment, it still wasn't quite a ship of the line, though its long range weaponry allow it to distance itself from its opponents to better increase its chances of survival.
The four ships were to go on a tour of the republic worlds, going so far as Ryltoh, before returning to the core, even Coruscant, with the intent of showcasing the new modle to the republic as one of the ships available to defend the republics many worlds. The use of an older frame, allowed designers to keep costs down to a mere 83.4 million credits per unit. It would serve as Rendili's Primary answer to the republic's desperate need for cheep but effective defense forces. The modle had a modular hangar area that by default was outfitted to service two military shuttles. These Dreadnaughts carried four GAT-12j blastboats, purchased new from Sienar Fleet Systems, each to serve as additional fighter defense and ship to ground transports. The four vessels move in relative unison towards the outbound space lanes, and began their lenghty cruise.

A flash of bright blue-white light shattered the dull emptiness of space as a YV-666 Light Freighter sprung from hyperspace above the northern hemisphere of the planet. Rendili was Sihnyad's birthplace and where he'd spent the very earlier years of his life. The capital city of Edethor had been the only city he'd ever know until the Jedi Order had picked him up, taking him away to Coruscant and the Jedi Academy located there. Now . . . now he was returning home. He was returning for the first time since his induction into the order. For the first time since he had said his goodbye's all those years ago.
On the bridge, Sihnyad sat, cloaked in the traditional robes of the Jedi Order, black and grey in color. A single lightsaber hung from a clip along his belt. The comlink was fastened inserted into a metallic cuff on his right arm. He reached to a planel in from of his person and opened a channel to Rendili Orbital Control.
::Rendili Orbital Control, this is the YV-666 Freighter Decorum Manibus. Request Permission to land in Edethor proper::
With the transmission sent, the Jedi Knight gathered and transfered the proper licenses, identifications and codes to the Orbital and patiently waited for a response.

Redndili Defense force scanned the new arrival and verified the registration and identification of the ship before responding to the incoming transmission. It was an odd thing for a Jedi to visit Rendili, sure plenty came on official business but that would have shown up in the paperwork, and it hadn't, so this didn't seem to be an official visit. The communications officer flagged it for the Officer on duty to look over which he promptly did. Noting the oddity, but not seeing anything suspicious he approved the landing request and the communications officer acted correspondingly.
Decorum Mandibus request granted, please obey all traffic laws and enjoy your stay.

Rendili's defensive forces conduct a training exercise in which several hulks from ancient ships long since decommissioned are set on a collision course, with a similarly worthless space station. The hulks and station are treated as operational for the purposes of the operation, and the defense forces move to intercept and destroy the hostile "ships" before they can ram and destroy the station. The training op doesn't go as planned, though the mission is successful. The data is reviewed and new training regimens are implemented to better equip the defenders of Rendili with the knowledge and skills necessary to defeat any would be attackers.

Katsumi brings the VCX-100 light freighter she acquired from an unfortunate smuggler, now rotting away in the cargo bay out of hyperspace, selecting a point out of what she imagines should be the effective sensor range of any orbital defense forces that may be patrolling in orbit over the world she has been led to by the visions that sometimes visit her dreams. The visions were not clear on why she should come, but Katsumi has learned that the reasons will come in time so long as she goes where they lead her to go.
A patient creature by nature, allowing herself to be led as much, if not more, by instinct as by her own design depending on the constant, capricious shifting of circumstance, Katsumi alternately lets the stolen freighter drift or takes it from one spot in the void around Rendili to another chosen at random. After her instincts tells her that enough time has passed without the freighter's sensors detecting anything other than the occasional passenger or cargo vessel coming or going, and without any sign that she has been swept by any sensors herself, Katsumi selects the region of space around the planet least traveled by arriving or departing ships to make her, ideally undetected, descent for the planet's surface so that she can learn why she has been led to Rendili.

The stolen VCX-100 ascends from Rendili's surface and into the sea of stars awaiting it, Katsumi's attention as much on the vessel's sensors as it is on the susurrus of the Force so that both her ascent and apparently random and aimless drifting to and fro around the world ripe for the picking go unobserved and unnoticed by the world's small, complacent, and soon to be eradicated defensive fleet.
The data retrieved by the Ortolan slicer she had used to infiltrate Rendili's defense network will enable her to deploy the ships and troops soon to be under her command with maximum efficiency, and Katsumi anticipates little difficulty in capturing the world, which brings with it the added bonus of the starship-manufacturing company Rendili StarDrive, with all its resources and facilities.
Once she is satisfied that she has drawn no attention to herself, Katsumi begins laying in a course for Agamar, pausing briefly as she finishes with a slight frown hidden beneath the grinning onyx skull that is for her more her face than the skin and bone it conceals and protects; the susurrus of the Force seeming to whisper a warning to her that she should not be overconfident, a maddeningly vague warning that hints of machinations other than her own which might threaten her plans without revealing to her where the threat might come from.
Ignoring the susurrus of the Force is seldom wise, and so, feeling chastened and determined to heed the warning, however vague it is, Katsumi takes her stolen ship into hyperspace to begin the journey to Agamar.

Rendili's meager orbital defense fleet, consisting of five CR90 corvettes, each refitted with large docking bays grafted onto their spines so that they have individual starfighter compliments at their disposal, has seen little action since the dissolution of the Republic. Though the small fleet does not yet know it, that is about to change.
On what will prove to be the final day for many of those serving in Rendili's orbital defense fleet, two of the refitted corvettes, the Kohar and the Azniv, patrol in orbit over the planet's capital city, Edethor. Both corvettes continually rotate trios of their T-65 X-wing starfighters, the starfighters expanding the scope of their patrols further towards the eastern and western hemispheres.
The Sevan and its starfighters patrol near the Rendili StarDrive shipyards, while the Vosgi and Sirvat patrol over, respectively, the southern and northern hemispheres. Though the ships of Rendili's orbital defense fleet have yet to be tried as they are about to be, they are no less vigilant for it, a fact that may serve them well in the battle about to be brought to the world they are sworn to defend.

Over Edethor
Ishild, seated in her command chair as her Nebula-class Star Destroyer, the Kunigunde, erupts from hyperspace in Rendili's orbit over it's capital city, smiles predatorily when the enemy corvettes near her ship's position are displayed on her tactical display. The Knight of Ren's intelligence was not specific as to precisely how the enemy fleet would be deployed, but the estimates of the strength of the opposition they could anticipate appear to have been correct; while there may be other enemy ships elsewhere in orbit, Ishild suspects that they are not likely to be of much more concern than two mere corvettes.
Her bridge crew having been briefed on the opening stages of the battle plan, Ishild says nothing as they perform their duties efficiently. As shields are raised and enemy communications are jammed, turbolasers target enemy military bases and the ground-to-orbital weapons emplacements on Rendili's surface that the Knight of Ren accompanying her fleet had learned of during her reconnaissance of the world about to be brought under the rule of the First Order. In the Kunigunde's hangars, TIE/IN starfighters begin to launch, their pilots having been standing by in their cockpits for the moment that has arrived. As the starfighters begin to deploy, the transports that will be bearing her troops, and the Mandalorians as well as the Knight of Ren that will be fighting alongside them, prepare to lift off once the TIEs have engaged the enemy forces.
Arriving along with the Kunigunde are the Vindicator-class cruisers, the Renate and the Mette. The Renate and Mette, raising their shields and maneuvering into positions roughly above the Kunigunde and between the star destroyer and the enemy ships, have their turbolaser and light ion cannon gunners begin targeting the CR90 corvettes so that, once they are in range, they can open fire.
Rendili StarDrive shipyards
Appearing in realspace near the shipyards, the Vindicator-class cruiser, the Heilwig, accompanied by the Assassin-class corvette, the Wibeke, raises its shields, jams enemy communications, and begins maneuvering along with the Assassin-class corvette into attack range of the lone corvette that appears on their screens. As the First Order vessels begin targeting the corvette with their weapons, TIE/IN pilots standing by in the Heilwig's hangar prepare to lift off.
Over Southern Hemisphere
The Victory II-class Star Destroyer, the Suenja, accompanied by the Assassin-class corvette, the Kasimira, leaves hyperspace and, following the attack plan Ishild and the Knight of Ren had devised together, jams enemy communications, raises shields, and targets the enemy ground bases and weapons emplacements the Knight of Ren's intelligence gathering mission had revealed the locations of, raining down a deadly storm of fore towards the targets as TIE pilots prepare to lift off to protect the troop transports waiting for the order to deploy.
Over Northern Hemisphere
The Victory II-class Star Destroyer, the Adaleiz, along with the Vindicator-class cruiser, the Elke, exits hyperspace, and as its TIE/IN pilots prepare to launch in its hangar immediately opens fire on the enemy targets it had been chosen to destroy in the opening moments of the battle after raising its shields and jamming enemy communications. The Elke, its sensor officers first to spot the enemy corvette nearest to where they have emerged from hyperspace, raises shields and begins to maneuver into firing range as its weapons officers begin targeting the enemy ship in preparation of opening fire upon it.
The battle for Rendili has begun.

Toiréasa, along with the other eight members of her traat'aliit, moves through the bustling hangar bay of the Kunigunde towards their Kom'rk-class fighter, the Muun Orar. Stopping near the Muun Orar's boarding ramp when their squad Ruus'alor, Zdzislaw Tenau, lifts a hand to signal a halt, Toiréasa listens as he gruffly delivers a customarily terse and humorless motivational speech, reminding them of what their role in the invasion of Rendili is as well as stirring their sense of camaraderie and warrior spirit . Having fought alongside the members of her traat'aliit under Zdzislaw's leadership for many years now, Toiréasa feels as though she can hear the words Zdizslaw will say in her head even before he says them, but is no less stirred by that part of the squad's pre-battle ritual for it.
Stamping her feet and pounding her breastplate in unison with her squadmates as Zdizslaw ends his speech in their traditional way, Toiréasa adds her spirited cry of Oya! to theirs, and then makes her way up the boarding ramp, shaking her head in amusement as she watches Cionaodh Rodarch head for the back of the ship to perform his own personal ritual prior to lifting off, urinating on a landing strut for reasons only the Bimm himself knows.
As she and her co-pilot, Ksenia Itera, reach the cockpit and strap into their seats to begin prepping the fighter for takeoff, Toiréasa asks the Shownarri, Tion tsikala?
Ratiin, Ksenia replies confidently without hesitation as they continue their preparations and then begin to wait for the First Order Admiral's signal that the moment to takeoff and make for Rendili's surface has arrived.

The captain of the Kohar is the first to become aware of the arrival of the enemy fleet, his sensor officer shouting out that three ships have emerged from hyperspace near their position over Edethor. No sooner has his sensor officer alerted him to the arrival of the ships than those ships make their intentions abundantly clear when they fire turbolasers towards the planet's surface. Attempting to hail the Azniv, the nearest Rendili Defense Fleet ship in orbit, proves futile, the enemy ships having begun jamming communications. The captain of the Kohar can see that the enemy force has him outgunned and outclassed, even should the Azniv be near enough to render him and his crew aid, but running is not an option, and so the captain begins issuing orders as alarms begin braying throughout his refitted CR90 corvette.
Fortunately for the Kohar, the Azniv is patrolling near enough to its position when the enemy fleet arrives that, though they are unable to coordinate their actions, their individual efforts will combine to make their level of resistance greater. As nine T-65 X-wings launch from the Kohar's docking bay and, joined by the three that had been on a combat air patrol, begin to approach the Kunigunde from its starboard side, the twelve X-wings carried by the Azniv launch and begin speeding towards the Kunigunde from aft of it's position, inadvertently initiating a pincer attack on the enemy fleet.
Both the Kohar and the Azniv raise shields and begin laying down covering fire for their starfighters, while weapons officers begin observing the enemy ships to better direct their weapons as the battle progresses.
The captain of the Sevan, patrolling near the shipyards when the enemy vessels arrive, surmises that the enemy more likely than not wants to take the shipyards intact and so maneuvers her CR90 in close to them in hopes of proving her theory by making it difficult to target her ship without damaging the yards themselves. As her ship maneuvers, and begins targeting the enemy vessels with its weapons, the captain orders her compliment of twelve Defender starfighters to launch, and watches as, under covering fire from her ship's laser cannon turret fire, they begin hurtling towards the enemy ships.
The captains of the Vosgi and Sirvat, over the southern and northern hemispheres respectively, both respond to the superior forces bearing down on their positions by initiating fighting withdrawals in the hopes of linking up with other ships in Rendili's defense fleet before the enemy can close in on them, launching their starfighter compliments and having them prepare to defend against any enemy starfighters that move into range. As they begin to maneuver away from the enemy with shields raised, both the Vosgi's and Sirvat's gunners prepare to engage the enemy ships when they come into range.

Over Edethor
Ishild smiles as she watches the ships of the enemy begin to maneuver in response to her fleet's arrival, shaking her head in commingled admiration for their bravery in the face of overwhelming odds and for the futility of their actions given her fleet's numerical and firepower superiority. "Helm, turn to port, Ishild says so that the Kunigunde will be able to fire her port side guns at the Kohar while the starboard guns will be able to fire upon the Azniv, and take us up above them, keep them below our position as much as possible. Concentrate fire on their engines, and order our fighters to maneuver behind them to exploit their blind spot, Ishild concludes, recalling the CR90's well known axial blind spot. Prepare all ground forces to deploy once our fighters engage the enemy."
As the Kunigunde turns and rises, her fore gunners open fire on the CR90's as ordered, sending a deadly rain of turbolaser, ion cannon, and concussion missile fire towards the enemy. The port and starboard gunners lay down suppression fire for the TIE/IN fighters bearing down on the enemy in finger-four squadrons, beginning to target individual fighters once the squints reach the enemy and break from squadron formations into individual finger-four formations to either engage enemy starfighters or, for those able to fight or maneuver through the enemy starfighters, continue on to attack the CR90's axial blind spots.
In the Kunigunde's hangars, troop and vehicle transports begin to launch, making for Rendili's surface.
The Vindicator-class cruisers, the Renate and Mette, order their TIE/IN pilots to provide cover for the transports beginning to deploy for Rendili's surface, with the Renate focusing her turbolaser and ion fire on the Kohar while the Mette concentrates her attacks on the Azniz.
Rendili StarDrive Shipyards
Captain Eilert Hirsch, commanding the Vindicator-class cruiser, the Heilwig, watches the Sevan move near the shipyards and mutters, "Clever, before ordering his helmsman, Maneuver to her port side, and then says, Have tractor beam projector operators prepare to pull them away from the shipyards. Hold our fire until they are far enough away to avoid damaging the yards. Launch all TIE/Ins, he says, and have them engage the enemy fighters."
As the Heilwig maneuvers and prepares to tractor the CR90 away from the shipyards, squints launch from its hangar bay and, in finger-four formations, begin to close on the enemy fighters, engaging them once they are in range.
The Wibeke, launching its starfighters to assist in the destruction of the enemy fighters, maneuvers with the Heilwig to a safe enough distance from the shipyards so that, once the enemy CR90 has been tractored away from the yards, it can assist in annihilating the enemy vessel.
Over Southern and Northern Hemispheres
The captains of the Victory II-class Star Destroyers, the Suenja and the Adaleiiz, order their tractor beam operators to prepare to lock onto the enemy CR90's attempting to disengage, and have their helmsman increase to maximum speed to pursue the retreating ships. TIE/Ins launch from the hangar bays of both ships, and from those of their supporting ships, with their pilots ordered to engage the enemy fighters that have been launched once they are in range.

The captain of the Kohar braces himself as the first of the enemy fire impacts against his ship's shields, feeling the quaking and trembling that results. Beads of sweat appearing on his brow as he glances at his control panel to see the greatly reduced state of his ship's shields, which are holding at forty two percent, the captain orders his helmsman to begin a turn to port and angle their bow upwards so that he does not present a stationary target for the First Order ships to fire upon. Turning to the holographic display of the battle, the captain frowns as he watches several of the tiny holographic representations of his starfighters wink out as the ships fall prey to the enemy fighters engaging them, and he struggles to keep the sense of hopelessness that the scene gives rise to within him from paralyzing him.
Ordering his gunners to begin targeting the troop transports and other ships making for Rendili's surface, the Kohar's captain focuses on what he can do at the moment rather than on what he is almost certain that the future holds for him and his crew.
Aboard the Anziv, her captain follows the Kohar's lead, tasking gunners to focus their fire on the transports heading to the surface so that as many as possible can be prevented from doing so while the helmsman attempts to make it as difficult as possible to target their vessel.
Those fighters from both the Anziv and Kohar that survive the initial contact with the First Order's ships break into pairs, with some pursuing the fighters than begin attack runs on the CR90's while others maneuver through enemy fighters and incoming laser fire to attack the transports being launched for the surface.
The captain of the Sevan curses under his breath as his ship is captured by the enemy tractor beam, and then begins barking orders to try and stave off the inevitable for as long as possible and, if he is lucky, make the First Order buy their deaths at a high price. Ordered by the captain to begin rolling to starboard so that all portside guns have a clear shot at the enemy ship, the helmsman performs the maneuver with a grim nod. As the CR90 rolls onto its side, gunners begin firing at the Heilwig, with many specifically targeting the ship's tractor beam projectors in an attempt to gain freedom from their pull.
Badly outnumbered, the Sevan's starfighter compliment is swiftly cut down in number, and soon only the four most skilled of the pilots remain, bravely continuing to engage the enemy fighters that have also survived.
The Vosigi narrowly eludes capture by the First Order tractor beam that attempts to ensnare it, and continues to withdraw at maximum speed while its starfighter compliment remains behind to deter the pursuing enemy ships for as long as possible,
The Sirvat, not as lucky as the Vosigi, does not escape the tractor beam that reaches out and closes an invisible hand around it. The Sirvat's captain, watching as his starfighter compliment begins to be chewed up by the First Order ships that close on them, orders his gunners to fire on the enemy vessel that has captured them, focusing their fire on the tractor beam projectors that have ensnared them.

After taking off and exiting the Kunigunde's hangar once the order to launch and make for Rendili's surface is given, Toiréasa takes the Muun Orar, a Kom'rk-class transport, into a steep dive, unaware that she has clenched her jaw as she always does when piloting in combat situations; an involuntary response to the stress being fully aware of the fact that the slightest mistake on her part will result in not only her death, but those of her traat'aliit as well.
Grunting a reply when Ksenia, her co-pilot, calmly announces that enemy fighters are approaching from their eight o'clock, Toiréasa increases the Kom'rk's speed as she jukes to avoid the first of the turbolaser fire sent from the enemy CR90's that launched the fighters closing in on the First Order transports racing towards Rendili's surface. Nimbly weaving through the initial wave of fire from the CR90's, Toiréasa winces as one of the enemy starfighters lances their starboard wing with laser fire, compensating for the jostling that results form the impact on the Muun Orar's shields by rotating the wings around the craft's main body as she banks hard to port and adjusts the angle of their descent.
Chakaar! Cionaodh, manning the Muun Orar's laser cannons, grumbles as one of the enemy fighters successfully eludes the fire he sent towards them. Oya! the near-human Bimm announces mere seconds later when his laser cannon fire takes out a less fortunate enemy fighter that has the misfortune of entering his sights.
Their ship takes a few more hits from enemy fire as Toiréasa, her eyes restlessly scanning the activity visible from the forward viewport as she manipulates the Kom'rk's controls in response to what she sees, what Ksenia calls out to her, and to her instincts, continues piloting the Muun Orar onward for Rendili's surface.

Aboard one of the First Order troop transports launched from the Kunigunde's hangar, Katsumi sits calmly strapped into her seat, her eyes closed beneath the skull-like mask that is more truly her face than the visage it conceals, her mind focused raptly on the glorious thundering symphony of the roaring currents of the Force so that she can bend it to her will. The chaos of the battle, the fear and anger and hatred and despair of the pilots and ship's captains waging the war in the stars above Rendili are laid bare to her, fuel to the hungry flames of the fire she intends to stoke higher and higher before directing it to where it will best serve the needs of the First Order.
Oblivious to the weaving of the transport, and to the shuddering accompanying the impact of laser fire on it's shields, Katsumi smiles beneath the grinning skull mask she wears as, judging that the fire she has coaxed and teased into life has reached its zenith, she sends the mental inferno outwards towards the minds of the enemy. As the troop transport bearing Katsumi and the Stormtroopers it ferries for Rendili's surface continues it's descent, the hungry mental flames lick greedily at the minds of the enemies the raging inferno engulfs as it spreads outwards, inciting varying degrees of panic, fear, despair, hopelessness, and at times near catatonia when the heat of the mental conflagration is so intense that it consumes the minds it inundates.
Katsumi keeps her mind open to the delicious results of her beautiful blaze, feeding off of the results so that she can use them as fuel for her efforts on the surface of Rendili.

A tear in the fabric of space opens upon the silence surrounding the shipyards above Rendili as a hyperspace portal forms as a small fleet emerge from the Corellian Hyperlane. At the head of the force was a Rendili Hammerhead-Class Star Cruiser named the Gadriel'lora'lya, which was flanked by a trio of Hammerhead-Class Corvettes. The four ships dropped to sublight engines as they approached the planet's gravity well - keeping just enough distance not to fall into orbit above Rendili.*Upon the bridge of the Flagship stood Captain Altair Sirraf, beside him the fleet's commander Nakor was barking orders having his bridge crew already on the move, scanning the surrounding space lanes, and the orbit around Rendili for any sign of a presence the planet had to offer, hailing frequencies were opened and old Felucian clearance codes were transferred to the nearest Orbital Defense Platform near the famous Rendili StarDrives - obviously fallen out of noterioty in the waning years of the New Republic and the Galactic Coalition. "Nakor, you have the bridge - Have my team ready for departure immediately.""Aye, Captain - D'lyse and his team are already aboard Star Razer awaiting you."*Altair nodded, a smirk taking his lips as he turned towards the turbo lift, leaving the ship and the fleet in the very capable hands of his Commander. Ever since the Gadriel's death, what remained of his army had been holding themselves together with the scraps the Bothan Jedi Master had pieced together during the Chaos War on Felucia - with him now gone it fell to Altair to keep this army together, provisioned, outfitted... and well equipped. That is why he had come to Rendili. A short turbo lift ride and a bit of a hike later he found himself entering the cruisers hanger bay where his Fury-Class Interceptor and his commando team were already prepped for departure. Bounding up the ramp just as it was closing he looped his way into the cockpit and took his place in the command chair placed above 'the pit' where his two pilots, Janos (being named singularly), had already begun take off procedures."Take us out, Janos.""Aye Captain""Aye Captain" *Altair smirked at the two - a twin clone batch - one of only 7 such pairs left in what had made up Gadriel's Army. They were grown together, their minds and their bodies maturing side by side during entire cloning process - an experiment Gadriel had undertaken years ago. The results were phenomenal. Two clone twins exhibited unparalleled response time when coordinating their actions with one another, almost as if their neural pathways were transmitting the exact same information at the exact same time, and what was more astonishing, processing it the same way. Altair had cultivated the remaining pairs of twins - training them personally just as Gadriel had done, and now they were quite deadly, especially as pilots.
The Star Razer had since vacated the Hanger bay and was now in open space moving towards the Rendili StarDrive command module - from there they could pass orders through the entire system - mostly mechanized by slave rigged systems that caused the entire place to operate with a minimal work force. It was a technology Rendili had invented and even incorporated into their Battle-cruisers - especially the Dreadnaughts - cutting the crew necessary to man them by nearly 80% and that was almost a thousand years ago - since then the technology has only flourished. As the Star Razer began its landing sequence Altair stepped away from the cockpit, allowing his pilots to complete the sequence for him and moved into the briefing room that took up the center of the ship - in most models would have been the commons area, but was reconfigured to house a large holoprojector in the center of the room with stations surrounding it for various briefings. A hologram of the StarDrive Facility was already being projected as D'lyse, the commander of his primary assault team, had already begun the briefing...
