The Renili technitians brought up some problems with the proposed cloaking devices. With some technical wizardry, they proposed using stygium cloaking devices, though it might take some time to completely obtain all the required Stygium. They had enough for 3 of the devices at the moment.
Bilbringi gave them the go ahead to proceed.
Rendili finsihed one device and began installing the device into one of the Raider class ships, the ODIN, to test the device.

The shipyards and Rendili technicians completed the ODIN, first. The modified Raider class corvette sat in a shielded drydock as the technicians finished up the modifications and fully installed the cloaking device.
The First Order had a skeleton test crew standing by to test the ship. Those brave souls boarded the ship and made all systems ready to leave the dock. With the aid of some space-tugs, the ship crept out from the enclosed dock into the light and twinkling stars of the Rendili system. The crew were comforted that they each were wearing environmental suits, in case the system exploded and breached the hull, or in case the power draw for the cloaking system and the ship's lifesupport and environmental systems were too stressed and blew. They would be ok, unless the ship literally blew apart. The Rendili technicians were very reassuring that there was only a 5% probability of that occurrence given that the system hadn't yet been tested, and they lacked detailed data for this ship's configuration.
Once the ship was clear of dock traffic, the skeleton crew began to power up the various systems one at a time to ensure each system loop was sufficiently isolated and that power could be appropriately directed between the systems. Once that was tested, the crew began to test systems in tandem; running the shields with the engines, running the engines with the weapons, running the weapons with the shields and engines. The test crew recorded volumes of diagnostic data for later analysis, so the power systems could be further optimized.
Finally it was the moment of truth: It was time to test the cloaking device.
The ship engaged the device; to all outsiders the ship shimmered and suddenly disappeared from all scopes.
SUCCESS!
The crew monitored the vital signs of the cloaking system for an hour. With no appreciable power spikes or system cooling issues, they began to add additional systems to the ODIN's power tree. The ship's reactor seemed to handle the additional stress as the ship powered up sensors, propulsion, thrusters and shields. The most appreciable power anomaly occurred once the weapons systems and torpedo guidance were powered up. It was logged with the rest of the data.
The test crew of the ODIN maneuvered further away from the docks and gradually gave the engines more thrust until they attained maximum speed. This test was successfully completed.
One final test remained: the Hyperspace safeguards. In order to manage the power on the ship and prevent an overload, the cloaking device and the hyperdrive could not be operated at the same time. In an emergency, the ship had a cloak/power override that killed power to the cloaking device and propelled the ship on an emergency hyperspace jump (crash jump). The alternative system was to kill all power to any systems, in favor of maintaining or engaging the cloaking system (crash cloak). One way or another the ship was designed to hide or flee at a moment's notice.
The ship lined up while cloaked. The hyperspace trajectory was calculated. With fingers crossed, the helmsman engaged the crash jump lever and the ship immediately dropped from cloak and the stars began to streak as the ship accelerated into hyperspace.
>>>>> Outside observers saw the ship de-cloak for about 5 seconds before the ship jumped to hyperspace. >>>>>
In no time at all, the ODIN returned to Rednili to complete its trials. The "Crash Cloak" feature worked perfectly.
After spending the whole day testing the systems, the ship returned to the shielded drydock for additional diagnostics and to allow technicians to analyze the hours of data accumulated by the test crew's voyage.
>>>An encrypted project update was sent to Bilbringi. The remainder of the Stygium was procured and arrived on Rendili. The shipyard immediately began manufacture of the remaining 3 cloaking devices. the other two cloaking devices that had been completed were given the greenlight to be installed in two more of the U-Raider Corvettes.

Rendili StarDrive, once the primary supplier for the Republic Navy during its earliest conflicts and dawning generations. It crafted the trademark Hammerhead-class corvettes and the Praetorian-class frigates that defended worlds against the Mandalorian Crusades and the various Sith Wars, among other conflicts, for centuries. It was soon overlooked by Kuat Drive Yards as their prominence came to be known. Throughout the Clone Wars, and into the Imperial Period, the two companies jostled for favor and the prestige. Yet, in the end, KDY won it all, with both the waning Republic and the rising Galactic Empire.
Still, StarDrive endured and was a welcomed member of the Republic before the rise of the First Order. Its annexation brought... change as the Imperials relied on many companies to serve the needs of their fleets. KDY was still prestigious, but Rendili was not simply left to the scraps. Its shipyards saw the production of newer Star Destroyers, battleships, frigates, and corvettes to ensure the needs of the Imperial Navy were easily met. As a result, Rendili flourished and thrived under the banner of the Imperial overlords.

Chief Designer Len Dru, a Rodian, had come up in Rendili from the floor. He had done it all, and now oversaw the construction of massive ships to protect citizens and punish threats. He was proud of his work. Many of his supervisors were old Imperial, and carried with them the biases of their past. He knew he had much to prove to them, it was a lot to work with. Sometimes they tried to show him up, other times they did sub par work, and every time he had to handle it correctly. A balance of mercy and strength. He had gotten pretty good at it.

Annelise had brought the Hereb here for some repairs. The ship was still very new and still not much more than a prototype. The designers throughout the First Order were interested in the performance numbers and the systems readouts. This was not the kind of errand the Grand Moff concerned herself with. Annelise took this lead. The crew was about an even split with First Order officers and Alderaanian staffers that came with the transition. They all respected her and followed her lead. The Rendili Drives staff were very excited to go over a Hereb, this was the first time they had actually gotten their hands on a fully working one. The diplomatic suite was of particular interest to many of them. The encryption algorithm generator was studied greatly by those with the clearance. Even with the ship's unparalleled speed, its ability to be a mobile Grand Moff's office was still it's most impressive feature.

Annelise watched the repairs and resupply very carefully. She may not have understood the technicle features but she was good at reading people. They were excited but not malicious. They were not threats to steal the advances. You could see how some took its performance as a challenge, they wanted to see if they could do what Kuat couldn't, could they get any more out of it. They could but only by sacrificing in other areas, so they reset it. Everything was flushed and replaced.

As the Hereb was finished, some test pilots arrived to look at the ship. A small contest was arranges. A squadron of Nissi interceptors had just come off the line, and was ready to be given a once over. The pilots challenged the Hereb's crew to a contest. Training lasers were attached to the Nissi squadron and they would try to "kill" the Hereb before it made a full circle around the planet in low orbit.

The project completed all six of the U-Raider corvettes.
Inside of 24 hours after notification was sent to the I.I. Dept on Corulag, naval crew transports showed up at Rendili. The crews were already familiar with the Raider class corvette, having already served on that class of ship. The crews needed no training in order to take the six ships from their berths, and take them to their new base at Bilbringi.
Six u-Raider class corvettes left orbit over Rendili and made their way to the hyperspace lanes. in a matter of moments they made each jumped into hyperspace.

The Hereb started the contest like a scaled mynock. All power was dumped into the engines to put as much distance between them and the soon to be perusing fighters. The pilots flew on the edge of control. After 1 min, the fighters were scrambled and came after the corvette. There were only bragging rights at stake, but those were very valuable to all the pilots represented here.

Straight line speed the Hereb was unmatched, this was what she was designed to do. Get a VIP's to some other place very fast. The Nissi on the other hand was just meant to be fast. They had the edge on turning. Physics still played in a vacuum. The Hereb was a much heavier ship and hat a lot of mass to turn, the length didn't help, the ball of the Nissi held almost all the mass letting it gain ground at the turns. The head start was slowly getting warn away.

Like the other Battle Groups, the Ninth arrived over Rendili with Grand Admiral Paila Berav at the command. The Fleet raised to readiness and began broadcasting the Empresses message, but Grand Admiral Berav was pretty certain this would end in a fight between the Ren forces and those loyal to Baltasar whom had taken root here. TIE fighters swarmed forth from the Cargador-class Carriers filling the void with Fighters, Bombers, and Interceptors. But their arrival was soon met by laser fire and missiles

The opening volley of fire between the Ren forces and the Loyalist forces over Rendili had been intense, with both sides suffering loses. However, neither side was willing to surrender and give up so easily. Surtidor-class Heavy Cruisers started pushing around the edges of the fight to get to the surface where Purge Troopers could be deployed and start claiming territory and potentially turn the ground emplacements upon the Loyalists
