Jena grinned inwardly at Jakes blushing when he looked up at her, glanced away then looked back up at her again with a somewhat silly but endearing grin before he started speaking. In the middle of speaking, almost as an afterthought of politeness, he gave Jena a bow and a smile before continuing. When he was finished, Jena returned his bow then smiled with a thoughtful look on her face.
"It's very nice to meet you too, Jake." She could sense the boy was a little nervous, and maybe a little impatient, but he valiantly tried to hide it. She had to admire his control at such a young age. Kneeling down to meet his eye level, she spoke again. "I have an idea, Jake....let's go get you something to eat and we can talk about where you're going to stay while you're here, your interest in healing and what to expect from the training sessions. Does that sound agreeable to you?" She smiled slightly, raising a questioning eyebrow while awaiting Jakes answer to the extended offer....

*Jake let out a little nervous chuckle when Jena said that it was nice to meet him before she knelt down to his level, suggesting they eat first and talk about his plans for his stay here. Well, that was certainly helpful of her, that sounded like exactly what they needed to do, so he smiled and nodded, slipping a thumb under the strap of his shoulder bag.* Sure, thanks, I'd love to!

Smiling at Jake, Jena straightened up and put her hands in the pockets of the white lab coat that she was wearing over a matching set of light blue surgical scrubs. "Good then. Let's go to the cafeteria and you can get whatever you want. We have a wide variety of foods to choose from so I'm sure there will be something you'll enjoy. I think they just got a few more flavors of ice cream too." Smiling down at him again, she motion for him to walk beside her as she began walking toward the cafeteria.

*That was the plan then, as Doctor Shaewe stood and declared. Jake smiled, pleased at the idea of being able to eat whatever he wanted from a large selection, though he wouldn't take too much, partly out of courtesy, mostly because his stomach probably couldn't hold that much anyway— Wait, multiple flavors of ice cream?! Never mind, he could make room.* Okay! That sounds awesome! *He fell into step beside her as she motioned for him to follow at her side. This would be nice, a good meal with a pr— Why did his thoughts keep coming back to that? Not just about Doctor Shaewe but in general around women. Not that it went any further than just thinking they were pretty, but when that's all he could think about... it was a bit distracting and partially annoying. He could work on it, he suppose...*

The repulsor bus pulled away as the eleven figures observed one of the most well respected medical establishments in the galaxy. All eleven wore understated armour of one design or another. What all of them had in common however was that the shoulders were painted white, along with a white strip down the middle of their chest & back, almost creating the impression that they were wearing a white cloak draped around their shoulders. Three of the figures had a solid purple patch in the middle of their chest. One of the 'purples' was a tall human female with sandy blond hair, the next was a Zabrak male that was completely bald, the last was a short human male with greying hair. The other eight were a rough mix of species & genders, though Zabrak was fairly common.
The three purples lead the group into the reception hall, & made their way to the front desk. The tall female introduced the group to the receptionist.
-Dr. Houn D'Ordinii. I am Dr. Houn D'Ordinii of MedStar. She motions as the triple helix logo on her armour. This is Dr. Yrn D'Ordinii The Zabrak & Dr. Thomas D'Ordinii The other human. & our nurses The other eight. We are here as part of the exchange program between RDMC & MMC-MS.

Betsy, the receptionist, looked up from the holomonitor she'd been working on for the last hour to see a group of people standing in front of the reception desk. All were dressed in a version of light armor and three of them had a triple helix symbol in the middle of the armor on their chests. Betsy raised an eyebrow realizing that these must be the doctors and nurses from MedStar and the tall blond female, that seemed to be the one in charge of the group, verified her suspicions. Standing up from her chair, Betsy smiled warmly.
"Of course, Dr. D'Ordinii....we've been expecting you! If you'll just wait a few moments, one of the senior doctors will be here shortly to speak with you." She indicated, with a wave of her hand, the comfortable looking waiting room a few feet away where the visiting medical team could relax after their journey.

The doctors & their nurses made their way to the waiting room. Houn technically wasn't in charge of the group as all three doctors held the same rank, however she was the surgeon of the group. Thomas was more interested in the drugs being used & doses than actually bothering to interact with anyone. While Yrn was technically the more social of the doctors as a general practitioner he was perfectly content to sit back & let Houn run the show. Each of them had brought along three of their staff, except of course, Yrn who had one of his nurses call out sick at the last moment & hadn't bothered finding a replacement.

Dr. Lyssa Ramaela. Some would call her eccentric by the way she dressed in colorful doctors scrubs - most of the time with some kind of cartoon character emblazoned on them, or by her short blond hair that was usually streaked with some other bright color, or by the few small tattoos that were visible on her arms. In fact the tattoos were probably the least noticeable thing about Lyssa. Probably the most noticeable thing would be the fact that sometimes she could be, what some would consider snarky, abrasive, and/or blunt, and other times she was the picture of perfect politeness - not that she cared what other people thought of her. Today would probably be no different than any other day when it came to Lyssa's notable characteristics. One thing was for certain though, she was a damn good doctor and her expertise spanned a few fields in the medical profession. Her favorites, by far, were pediatrics and genetics, but she excelled in trauma care and surgery also.
Walking down the hallway to the reception area, colorful cartoon character scrubs and all, Lyssa hummed a popular tune as she looked down at the datapad in her hand. Stopping at the reception desk, she spoke cheerfully with Betsy for a moment then cast a glance into the waiting room to see the group of Mandalorian doctors from MedStar. Raising an eyebrow, she bid Betsy a good day and strode over to the waiting room.
"Hello, I'm Dr. Lyssa Ramaela....most just call me Lyssa, though. Welcome to the RDMC." She introduced herself with small smile and a polite bow before straightening and meeting each of the doctors gazes.

-Houn I'm Dr. Houn D'Ordinii, Surgical. This is Dr. Yrn D'Ordinii, General Practitioner & Dr. Thomas D'Ordinii, Pharmacology. It is a pleasure to be here.
Technically, MedStar is nearly three hundred years old, but it wasn't until the buy out forty years ago by MMC that it could even be considered competent. While it was rising quickly in ratings it still had a long way to go, hence the exchange program. Even then MedStar was mainly focused on the health & well being of the Clan.

Lyssa smiled, nodding her head in polite acknowledgment of the surgeons introduction of herself and her colleagues. They were all from the same clan and shared the same surname, as many Mandalorians who belong to the same clan do. Theirs happened to be D'Ordinii. 'Well this is going to be fun.' She thought to herself amusingly. Meeting each of their gazes again, she invited them to follow her a little ways down the hall to one of the conference rooms.
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you and to have you here. We've all been looking forward to your visit, sharing each others knowledge and experiences, and working with you.
Now, if you'll please follow me, we'll get you and your staff set up with the proper identification cards that you'll need to get around the medcenter during your stay with us." She began walking toward an open door about 30 feet away from them as she continued speaking. "After that, we can get started on your orientations and meeting with some of the other doctors and nurses here."

The group quickly fell into step with their host, with the nurses following shortly behind. Several of the nurses already had datapads out & were typing on them, most likely taking notes.
-Houn What kind of security measures do you employ at this facility? I understand if you can't go into hard details, but learning the generals would be nice.

Once inside the room, Lyssa turned to face Houn and the rest of the D'Ordinii medical entourage, pleased to see that the nurses already had their datapads out and were presumably taking notes. Looking thoughtful for a moment, she began to answer Houn's question about the security.
"The security system is state of the art and is updated every so often to help prevent breaches. It also runs throughout the whole facility. I don't know a whole lot about the ins and outs of the tech involved. You'd have to ask Dr. Van Buuren about that."
There are security guards, and droids, stationed on every floor and outside on the grounds....most of the time you don't even see them but they're there ready to take action if need be. We take our security very seriously with having been attacked several times in the past....mostly by the same group."
The last part was spoken with a slight scowl before Lyssa smiled and walked over to a desk that contained a console. Running her hand over the console to bring the large holoscreen on the wall to life, she then tapped a few keys and brought up information on what the visiting medical personnel would need.
"You will all be issued temporary RDMC identification cards with your pictures and prints on them. A retinal scan will also need to be taken from each of you so you can gain access to various places within the building. There will be a few areas that you can't gain access to due to the fact that only designated personnel with high level security clearance are allowed in those areas. Don't take it personal....this is the protocol with every new staff member at first."

-Dr. Houn That is understood. MedStar tends to keep its high security sections separate from the standard facilities, but then we often have to cover a lot more area.
The three doctors & their nurse escorts quickly lined up to be issued the identifications. Oddly, as one would expect either the doctors to all go first, or the different sub-groups to stay together, the line was much more fluid than that, with all twelve more or less mingling freely.
-Human female nurse I assume that the badges are to be worn prominently?
Despite the fact that their was apparently a solid rank system in play, the individuals in the group seemed to be mostly ignoring it. The only exception was Dr. Houn, though the group seemed perfectly willing to allow a single member take the lead & ask most of the general questions.

Jaycen's fighter touches down, momentarily, after flying in from the planets Jedi Academy. The cockpit opens, and Riddick hops out and proceeds forward, as to remove him from the danger zones present from engines and sensors, cockpit closing behind him.
With the craft now buttoned up and taking off to circle overhead, under "Tin Man's" control, Riddick proceeds enters the medical center and proceeds to the reception desk, removing his helmet from the rest of his armor along the way.

The only exception was Dr. Houn, though the group seemed perfectly willing to allow a single member take the lead & ask most of the general questions. Lyssa turned the process of the security procedures over to one of the security personnel that had just entered the room with portable equipment used to make the temporary identification cards for the visiting doctors and nurses. Turning to Houn and the rest, she answered the doctors question while the security guard entered the doctors and nurses names and other pertinent vital information into a console on the machine he had brought with him."Yes....the picture badges, with your names on them, are to be placed somewhere on your person where they can clearly be seen. We're not too picky about where on your clothing you attach it, but it must be viewable at all times as long as you're within the facility. The second identification card is the one you will need to swipe in the consoles beside certain rooms, or areas, to be able to gain access to those areas. In most places a palm print will also be required, to which the machine that Sgt. Steen brought in will take care of that along with the cards."She momentarily averted her gaze away from Houn and over to Sgt. Steen, who was now busy taking the necessary holopics and palm prints for the I.D. cards and palm scanners. Seeing that Steen was almost done with his tasks, she cast her gaze to Houn again. "If any of the cards are lost or stolen, please report the loss immediately to any of the security desks on each floor, and/or one of the senior Doctors/Administrators of which include myself, Dr. Alisha Mercotti, Dr. Jena Shaewe, or Ice Matango. Security, along with one or more of us, is always available around the facility."After a few more minutes, Sgt. Steen was done and had handed out the new laminated identification cards, one picture card I.D. and one swipe card I.D., to each of visiting doctors and nurses. After that task was completed, he nodded politely to Lyssa and Houn then gathered up the equipment and left the room almost as quietly as he had entered.

Upon reaching the reception desk, Jaecyn drew, from a pouch, a holocard containing his credentials as a head-of-state and diplomat. Mindful that this was a medial facility, he made no overt effort to inventory the equipment he had on him, given that the intent of it all was to protect from hostilities. A set of circumstances, while possible, was not very likely at all.
He addressed the receptionist with calm, and politely assertive manner, speaking with his seemingly exotic, accented tenor, and the look of someone with a matter of importance weighing not too heavily on his mind.
"I am Ja'Sean Tabr Raddekh, Ysannan Consul who was directed here on account of Adieumus Matango's absence. It is my understanding that his wife is here to conduct affairs in his stead. Does she happen to be available for an audience with me?"
As he spoke, he activated the holocard in hand, so as to be clearly visible between him and the receptionist only, displaying diplomatic and political credentials and that he was cleared to execute such duties here on Honoghr.

Betsy, the receptionist, looked away from the holomonitor she'd been studying and looked at the man who had stepped up to the desk and began speaking. His voice was calm with an accent she couldn't quite place immediately. Pursing her lips, she studied him over the rim of her reading glasses as he introduced himself, producing his identification as he did so, and explaining his purpose for being at the RDMC. He was apparently aware of Adieumus's disappearance and had requested to speak with the mans wife. Betsy arched an eyebrow when he finished speaking, and activating the holocard in his hand. The card verified the proof of his diplomatic and political credentials, giving testament to the fact that he was indeed allowed to carry out the aforementioned duties while he was on the planet.
"Yes, Mr. Raddekh....Ice Matango is handling all of the day to day governmental business since Adieumus' disappearance. I have just sent her a message that you wish to have a meeting with her. If you'll please just take a seat over there in the waiting room, it should just be a few more moments for her to wrap up the administrator meeting she is in. There's refreshments, a caf machine, and other beverages in there if you want to have a snack while you're waiting." She smiled pleasantly at Ja'Sean, indicating the comfortable looking waiting room with a wave of her hand.

Once they were handed their security cards most of the MedStar staff clipped them to one of several small equipment clips hidden along the edge of the low impact plates of their armour. Once all the badges were in place, & checked. Dr. Thomas chimed in with the next question.-Thomas Right then, what area will we be viewing first? Emergency Ward? Long-term Care? General Care? Surgery?

My thanks, I look forward to breaking words with her, when she is able.
Jaecyn stepped back, and then moved toward the waiting room that was pointed out by the receptionist. When he got there, he positioned himself so that he could review a few messages from his homeworld without fear of them being read by others. Once that was concluded, he sat in the room with a more leisurely read brought with him.

Betsy looked up from her holomag when the screen in front of her beeped with an incoming message. Setting the holomag aside, she read the message then stood up from the desk and walked over to Ja'Sean."Mr. Raddekh, thank you for waiting patiently. Ms. Matango's other meeting is done and she will see you now in her office." With a polite smile, Betsy gave him directions to Ice's office then turned and walked back over to the reception desk to answer another incoming message....
