I can trail them. Jouhn nurse his Corellian Ale. I have some skill in this are. You head to the speeder, but stay available if I need you. I'll reach you on the comlink should things get sideways.

Giving Johun a thumbs up, Dev says, "Got it bro'. You can count on me! I'll be there for you," and then takes a final tiny sip of his drink before heading outside to their speeder. Once in the speeder, the tiny blue-skinned Toydarian checks his pockets for his comlink, setting in within easy reach on the passenger seat. Drumming his fingers on the steering yoke, Dev suddenly lifts an index finger aloft with a pleased expression as he realizes that he may be able to be of a bit more use than simple backup if he makes use of some of the surveillance gear that the local CorSec agents provided. Documenting what may be going down, Dev knows, could be particularly useful if the Klatoonians meet with anyone, or go anywhere that proves to be significant to the overall investigation.
So as not to attract any more notice than necessary, Dev flutters his tiny wings to maneuver into the rear seat of the speeder, using the back hatch in the rear seat to get what he needs from the trunk, returning to the driver's seat with a pair of electrobinoculars with recording and listening features to that he can get a visual and audio recording of any meetings that take place, as well as with a few bugging and tracking devices he takes in case an opportunity to use them presents itself. Once he has all of the gear stowed away out of sight beneath the passenger seat where he can reach it quickly if needed, Dev settles in to wait for the Klatoonians to move so that he and Johun can see where following them might lead.

After Bizot and his two fellow Klatoonians finish their drinks, Bizot raps his knuckles on the table and grumbles, "Time to go," and then rises to lead the way outside of the bar, where they all enter a delivery hovervan with a sign on the sides of the trailer bearing the name 'The Savory Dalyrake', a well known local seafood restaurant. Bizot, pausing before stepping up into the driver's seat of the hovervan, squints as he peers around as though looking for anything amiss, but soon enters the vehicle as though satisfied that his paranoia appears to be unfounded.
The hovervan proceeds to a nearby dockyard, where it meets what appears to be a commercial fishing boat crewed by an Aqualish and three Gamorreans who offload several crates of what appears to be freshly caught seafish. From the docks, the hovervan makes its way to the back of 'The Savory Dalyrake', where Bizot and the other two Klatoonians set to work offloading the cargo they had picked up at the docks.

Dev uses his electrobinoculars to capture images of Bizot and his crew entering the hovervan, and then waits for them to get underway before beginning to tail them, keeping far back enough in traffic that he won't call attention to himself while keeping the van in view so he does not lose sight of it.
At the docks, Dev uses his electrobinoculars to record the apparently innocent happenings with the boat which he knows are not really innocent at all but a cover for the delivery of spice, taking care to get images of the Aqualish and Gamorreans so that he can run them by their contact in the local branch of CorSec to see if they can get names on them. Following the van from the docks to the restaurant, Dev frowns when the van pulls in behind the restaurant since he figures following it is too risky. Setting his speeder down a block away from the restaurant, Dev grabs his comlink in case Johun reaches out, and his electrobinoculars before flapping his tiny blue wings to fly up to the top of a building tall enough to give him a view of what is going on behind the restaurant. Zooming in on the back of the restaurant, Dev uses the recording feature of the electrobinoculars to get images of any other beings that might be around so that he can try and get IDs on them later.

Johun waited for the trio to leave the bar. As he exited he saw the delivery van leaving, in the direction of the docks. He made note of the restaurant it was from and headed toward it, once he saw Dev start to tail the van. The restaurant wasn't far, but the docks were. He wouldn't be able to catch them at the docks, but he could wait for them at the restaurant. Johun arrived at the back of the restaurant, where the delivery van should arrive, if it actually came back here. Johun found a mostly concealed surveillance spot, behind some crates. He waited hoping his instincts were right. He didn't have to wait long before he saw the van pull in. He reached out to Dev on the comlink.
Dev, it's Johun. I am behind the "The Savory Dalyrake". That van just pulled in. What did you find tailing them?

Dev takes his comlink from his pocket when it pings, answering Johun, I've got eyes on the back of the restaurant from on high, filming of the unloading in progress. The van went to the docks, took on a load of what looked like fish, the Toydarian explains in an amused and incredulous tone, which means we either have footage of our buddies doing their day jobs, or that our spice dealers are smart enough to vary their delivery methods. More seriously, Dev says, That restaurant could either be a legit business used to launder their credits, or where their dealers re-up. Looks like we'll have to start watching it, maybe see about bugging the offices and storerooms, and see if local CorSec can get us anything on the owner or owners. I don't wanna get too optimistic buddy, but I think we may have just got some traction on this investigation.

Johun didn't disagree. He had a feeling this was just the start of something bigger.
I think you are absolutely correct Dev. We need to find out what is in those crates.
Johun peered around the crates he was hiding behind, carefully watching the unloading. Looking for any opportunities to discover what was really going on. His right hand dropped to right hip instinctively, but he realized he didn't have his lightsaber, Vormund. It was safely stored in his R9 unit "Arnie", which was back at the safe house. He was skilled in hand-to-hand combat, should he need it, but he always felt more comfortable with Vormund at his side.

Dev frowns as he continues to survey the scene through his electrobinoculars, No argument here, bro'. Not sure how we can do that though. Too many Klatoonians around at the moment. Given the number of crates needing to be moved, Dev figures that more than one trip might be needed to move them from the hovertruck, and so says as though not certain his suggestion is the wisest course of action, Might be a chance to take a quick look if they all go in at once, too many crates for just one trip, but you'd have to be quick . . . I'll keep an eye on things, let you know if it looks clear at any point.

Noted.
Johun peeks around the crates he is hiding behind. He could wait, or he could use the Force to distract them. Johun reaches out feeling the minds of the Klatoonians. He makes it seem as though something down the alley needs their investigation...

Kapil, his right hand darting to the blaster holstered beneath his left shoulder under his jacket, narrows his eyes as, certain he has head something down the alley behind the restaurant, asks his companions, "You guys hear that?"
Mukul, frowning as he looks towards where Kapil's attention has been drawn, nods even though there was nothing to be heard, the telepathic suggestion of Johun coupled with Kapil's reaction to it making him doubt what he had heard, or more precisely, did not hear, says in an oddly distant tone as though repeating a thought that feels strange to him, "We should investigate."
Bizot, blinking as though confused, shakes his head as though to clear it, waving a hand towards where the telepathic suggestion has drawn their attention to one degree or another, and says, "You two investigate. I'll stay here." As Mukul and Kapil move away from the loading area, Bizot nervously glances around as though searching for any other disturbances. From a rear door of the restaurant, an Ortolan, a Pa'lowick, and two humans dressed in chef's whites or busboy attire emerge and begin carrying the crates inside the restaurant as Bizot watches on.

Well, it got rid of two of them temporarily. Johun thinks. He needed to get closer, but he would be unable as long as the last Klootonian remained. Looking around at what he had available, he spots a chunk of cement about the size of his fist. This should work. Johun grabbed the rock and hurled it at the Klootonian. He aimed for his head, allowing Ashla to guide his throw...

Wincing as he sees the four beings heading outside just as Johun sends a hunk of cement towards the last of the Klatoonians, Dev says into his comlink as he searches for something to use to get the attention of the four newcomers so that they do not spot Johun, Better abort buddy, got more opposing players entering the field of play, and we don't want to risk blowing our cover just yet. Grabbing a loose brick and a chunk of duracrete, Dev peers over the side of the building he had been using as an observation point, quickly hurtling them down towards the beings around the crates and then ducking back down, urging Johun, I think I drew their attention my way, try and get away before they come looking for you. I'll meet you at the speeder, one block west of the restaurant.
Grabbing a handful of loose pebbles and tossing them over his shoulder to make sure that he gets the beings down below looking up, Dev keeps low as he begins flying towards the western side of the building to begin making his way to their speeder.

Will do.
Johun waited for the group to be distracted, before dashing down the opposing alley. He would circle a few blocks over, making sure he wasn't followed before heading to the speeder. As he arrived, he spoke to Dev.
Well, that was certainly interesting.

Bizot, knocked out by the chunk of cement sent hurtling towards his head, drops like a puppet that has had its strings cut, crumpling in a heap with blood trickling from the large lump already rising on his head.
The chefs, waiters, and busboys that had come out to help unload the crates look around in confusion, talking loudly enough to draw the attention of Kapil and Mukul, who both start running back towards the restaurant. One of the more intrepid chefs begins running towards where he though the chunk of cement had come from, but his attention is soon drawn upward when the pebbles that the CorSec agent throws start raining down, allowing the Jedi to escape unseen.
Kapil helps Bizot, recovering but still dazed, to his feet while Mukul shouts for the restaurant employees to finish getting the crates inside. Mukul spends a few moments searching for whoever assaulted Bizot, going so far as to climb to the rooftop the CorSec agent been on when the chef mentions seeing pebbles coming down from it, but is soon forced to give up and return to the restaurant to help finish unloading the crates.
Fortunately for the Jedi and CorSec, none of those involved in the incident consider it significant enough to warrant any further action, and it is soon forgotten as Bizot and his companions ensure that the spice hidden along with the sea creatures featured on the restaurant's menu is removed without any of the employee's not in the know noticing, and then begin preparing for the spice to be distributed to the dealers waiting for it.

Chuckling dryly with a shake of his head, Dev agrees, "Yeah, interesting about sums it up. A lot of protection for seafood, right? Even if we didn't get a look at what might have been mixed in with the fishes, I think it's safe to assume that it was something illegal. Getting the speeder started up and setting out for their base of operation, the Toydarian starts speaking at a raoid clip, thinking aloud, We'll get in touch with our local CorSec pals, see what they know about the owner or owners of the restaurant, give 'em the descriptions of the Klatoonian goons and see if they can get us names. Might want to start thinking about setting up surveillance on the restaurant too, keep an eye on the comings and goings, maybe get some comm taps going if we can establish a strong enough case for potential shenanigans being run out of it."

Johun nods and thinks.
That sounds excellent. We need eyes inside. But I'm not sure how. They will surely move the operation elsewhere if we go in with force.

Dev bobs his head up and down as Johun speaks, and then, once the Jedi has finished, nods once more as he raises a claw tipped finger and agrees, "That we definitely don't want, nope. We may not, he says as he purses his lips in thought and rubs his stubbly chin with a hand to complete the portrait of a contemplative Toydarian he is aiming for, need to have eyes inside if we can have ears. Explaining what he means, Dev says excitedly, Bug 'em, you know? Listen in to 'em and see what we hear, if you know what I mean. Nodding as he considers how they might go about bugging the restaurant, he says, Maybe we go and have ourselves a nice meal, right? And in the middle of it, one of us goes to the loo, and enters the vents, right? Plant some bugs in, I dunno, the vents over the office, or the storeroom, anyway, a few likely spots. Hey, he snaps his fingers, maybe we can get some of those little cameras too? Eyes and ears on the inside! Whattayathink bro'? Sound doable?"

Johun nods in agreement.
Sounds like a solid plan. Will definitely help gather intelligence and find out who all the players are.
Johun looked at Dev.
I assume you have, or know how to get the technology you mentioned?

Taking the speeder down to a lower lane of traffic as they near their make-shift headquarters, Dev nods sagely and says, "Of course bro', of course. We just need to reach out to Arrienne, remember? She can get us whatever we need, within reason. Rubbing his stubbled chin, the Toydarian says as though thinking aloud, Might want to see if we need any warrants or whatever, rolling his eyes as he mutters as much to himself as to Johun, Wouldn't wanna stomp all over these scum's rights, right? Shrugging, as though less concerned about the rights of criminals than he is about seeing that they are not allowed to continue their operation unpunished, Dev says, Or maybe we can reach out to the Rangers instead, pretty sure that they can operate however they see fit no matter the local legalities in most instances. They could probably make it on the up and up to bug the joint without having to navigate the usual red tape."
Setting their speeder down, Dev flaps his wings to begin heading into their base of ops after taking a moment to look at the beach and the bikini clad females of a variety of species wistfully before he urges Johun, "Why don't you get started on a report of some kind, sum up all we saw and our tentative conclusions while I get in touch with Arrienne about that gear. The sooner we can get that place bugged, the sooner we can start making some headway on this investigation."
