Jade arched an eyebrow at the new 'art teacher' currently asking for a favor from someone she had never, to the best of her knowledge, met. Long experience had taught her not to agree to things that had conditions she was not yet aware of. So she warily replied, "We have finished sparring for today. What is this favor you are seeking?" She and Terra had not yet discussed what had happened between them during their spar. And something about Five's numeric name, combined with the slave collar, plus the reference to her 'sisters' was vaguely unsettling though as yet no concrete threat had materialized.
She flicked a glance at Terra Kiros, noting her uneasiness both physically and within her Force presence. The padawan had not revealed anything about her past save that she did not wish to talk about it. Jade reached down for her comlink and sent a quick message to Master Raganella.
Then, she addressed herself again to the one ubiquitously designated as 'Five.' She assumed the art teacher descriptor was her reason for being on Corellia, "Where are you from, Five?" she asked quietly, interested vaguely though it seemed she was more amused by the presence of Jade and Terra than interested in them specifically.

She frowned slightly as the news of their ended sparring hit her. No biggie.
-5- "I was going to ask for a friendly sparring match, and... well, I wonder if you can shut down the force if you are able. Its just... a curiosity of mine."
She raised an eyebrow (not that twileks HAD eyebrows, but it was still raised) at the question of where she was from, and she decided to be truthful.
-5- "I was taken as a child from ryloth. Sold or kidnapped by slavers, I dont know, I was too young. I lived most of my life on Anobis, as a local famous painters little secret. I am one of the few slaves who can claim she had her painting sold for over four million credits."
She grinned, proud of this fact. She was, even if she never saw a squint of that money. It WAS her work, her own, and nobody can take that from her. She also left out the little fact that she was a child of Juvex, a Banshee. With purpose. She also feared she might have said too much. The jedi seemed a bit unsettled by her and she hoped sharing might lighten that burden.
-5- "If you are leaving, I wouldnt mind doing some moves here, if you dont mind."

Five's response to Jade's question confirmed that she was, in fact, a slave, which confused Terra. The Twi'lek still had her her slave collar on, which meant that she was still enslaved to someone, but she hadn't said who her current master was. If it was still the same master that had lived on Anobis. It made Terra suspicious, as she had never heard of a slave being allowed to roam without one's master close by. Most jarring, was the fact that Five didn't seem to be resentful of her status as a slave at all. For Terra, her past life as a slave was a mark of shame, something she didn't like to talk about and had spent most of her time attempting to distance herself from that life. Was Five actually...happy as a slave? It didn't make any sense to Terra...
She couldn't hide her look of suspicion on her face, nor did she really want to. In her experience, slavery was a miserable existence and Five seemed anything but....

Jade considered Five's question. 'Shutting down the Force' seemed like a simple question, but it was more complex than that. As she had received a thorough combat education before she had been trained by the Jedi, she was fully competent in fighting without the Force. However, with time and practice the Force basically becomes an additional sense to a Jedi. So, if it is suddenly cut off the feeling of powerless blindness can be nearly debilitating. She rose to her feet, standing next to Terra as she replied, "Shutting off the Force, if you mean completely distancing one's self from it, is a painstaking operation that requires training and practice. Unless of course you have a ysalamir nearby. If by shutting off the Force you mean ignoring it and fighting without its aid, then that can be done. However, the advantages of doing so are questionable."
Jade nodded in appreciation. Four million credits was indeed a sizeable sum of money. It seemed that Five was still a slave, however, Jade did not think that specific fact was what truly bothered Terra. She half-bowed to Five, "Of course, anyone can use the training rooms."
She gestured to Terra and the two of them left.
So, Terra does not like suddenly meeting one who is obviously a slave. But, there is more behind it than that. She would have to wait and see what happened. Perhaps the young woman would be a bit more forthcoming. Jade would see if she asked questions. Or if she didn't. There were things to be learned either way.

Terra wasn't sure what to make of that Twi'lek, who didn't seem distressed enough for someone who had spent her life in slavery. All she remembered from her own childhood was wanting nothing more than to get out of slavery at any cost. In any case, she wordlessly followed Jade out of the training rooms, still not saying anything. She knew Jade could probably sense that something was off in the young woman, but if she did, she wasn't saying anything about it. But then, Terra hadn't actually told Jade much about herself, including her chilhood and her amnesia. She wasn't looking forward to talking about that...

She had something. Finally, after days of taking bad eyes that worked just like remarks, she had something. Senate TV on the Holo had spread Sinistras speach like a freaking firestorm. Media made everything worse, but it was perfect. The Sith needed founding. What 5 Needed was getting that info home somehow. She was working on a solution to that.
She was working on a solution to that with a staff against a training dummy. Poor dummy didnt like it. SHe was banging it all over. She had not trained the staff that much before and it felt good to make up new moves, try out some, but it wasnt the same alone.

*Ral wandered into the training rooms a few hours after landing in the academy. Luckily for him, there had not really been any questions as to whether the smuggler was a Jedi or not. Everyone was so stiff and proper though, so the usual laid back attitude of the human would stand out to a degree.
Like his contact, Ral had also seen the speech Sinistra had made, but unlike her, he was hardly pleased by it. Formations of empire made business even harder for a man like Ral. Would he be forced to take sides in the conflict that he was sure would follow? Who knew. He didn't.
He scanned the room and the woman with a staff was the one who stood out. Yellow twi'lek were not common at the academy, not to mention the whole slave thing. He closed the gap between them while staying a safe distance away from her. A slight smirk crossed his lips as he watched her make a thrust with the staff.
Try rotating to wrist...mmm 5 degrees clockwise next time. Will really drive the staff home, Five.

Five turned towards the newcommer. She had given him a glance as he came in, since training dummies dont usually hit back and she had the time. She thought the dude was either curious about the newcommer twilek slave. She got even more curious when she said her name. She torned towards him and threw the staff to the man just hard enough for him to catch it in time. When the staff landed, she had allready taken one from the wall next to her.
-5- "Show it to me."
Her left foot was forward, most of her weight on the right. The staff was angled diagonally downwards to potect the left foot. She showed her torso on left profile.

*Ral gave her a smile as he caught the staff. He took a moment to shed the outer layer of his robes to move more freely before twirling the staff around himself. He lashed out at the dummy a few times, his moves fluid and clean. The last strike he would make would be the thrust with his 5 degree twist. The blunt end hit the dummy square in the chest, leaving a slight impression where it hit.*
It is worth noting though, that I likely have more muscle mass then you. But Echani arts don't have a history of that mattering much.
*He would smile at her again and wait to tell her why he was there or about the package he had back on his ship. Had to keep things looking natural after all. He stepped out of the way and motioned towards the dummy for her to try it herself.*

She laughed at him then. She couldnt not to it was rather funny. She didnt throw him her staff so he would show it on the dummy. She had been yearning for someone blood and flash to hit for ages.
-5- "You are funny you... So, if its not fighting, how can I help you? YOu are teaching... what here exactly?"

*He smirked at the thought of him teaching anything at a Jedi academy. He hook his head and turned to face her.* Maybe the fight will come some other time. I am actually not from this academy, but I am here for you. I have a rather large and amorous looking gift for you from another lovely twi'lek. *He would smirk again and move to put the staff back on the rack.* You must be quite the heart breaker.

-5- "More like legs and arms."
When the lovely twilek was mentioned 5 raised a non existing eyebrow and her lekkus started twitching curiously. She put the staff away also.
-5- "Show me."
She didnt trust him just because he mentioned an other Twilek, she was on her guard, but decided to see where this was going.

*Ral shrugged and turned to lead her back to the hanger. In truth, he had not lied, as One had been the one to carry the box and leave it out his ship, so Ral bent reality a little bit, so what? He was just looking forward to getting this job done so he could move on to the next.*

As Nala, Five, and Sabo entered the training rooms, the green Healer walked over to one side and began taking off the white scarf Five had given her. Wearing something like that in a fight would give the advantage to the opposing forces. Stormy grey eyes blinked as she took in the room.
"Armed or not?" she inquired of the instigator of this round of festivities, the yellow Twi'Lek female.

Five walked in as if she lived there. Walked up to a table by the wall and put her keys, datapad and other valuables on it. She undid the knot on the scarf and pulled it from her neck revealing the slaves collar mainly for the same reason Nala removed her scarf. Then she did this perticular thing. She put two fingers on the side of her right eye and a third was pushed down inside the socket, under the eye. It simply popped free. A cybernetic eye. She pulled a little box out of her pocket and opened it, putting the eye inside for safekeeping. Five was light on the eyes, as most twilek females are for humans but that empty eyesocket gave her a look taken from some cheesy Holo-horror movie. And she was grinning.
-5- "I like the staff."
Five got over to the training weapons and took a wooden staff. She tried it by twirling it in her hand and around it. Its balance was good and it was made from some light wood that was sturdy at the same time.

Sabo followed the two Twi'leks in, staying silent while they decided the parameters of their sparring match. He watched as Fives revealed the slave collar underneath her scarf, not being the least bit surprised to see one around the Twi'lek's neck as most of the more shadier Bureaucrats and Gangsters preferred the females or her race as indentured servants. He was, however, surprised when she took the cybernetic eye from her socket, being unaware of it's existence. But he chalked it up to her master's doing and thought nothing more of it.
He moved to a corner of the room and leaned against the wall there, taking in Nala and Fives as they readied themselves. He would study both Twi'lek's maneuvers as they dueled with a trained eye, looking for strengths as well as weaknesses. He was very interested in knowing what both we're capable of.

Nala took off her outer robe and folded it precisely, placing it also on the bench. This revealed her mostly traditional Jedi attire, with green flowing embroidery along the hems indicating her affiliation with Corellia. She turned around, and looked at Five, surprised by her one-eyed appearance, though the only outward indication of such was a flicker of a smile.
Noting the other Twi'Lek's choice of staff, she walked over to the stand of training weapons and considered her choice. After a moment's cogitation, she picked up a matched pair of training sais and hefted them to feel the balance. She nodded at Sabo as he was leaned up against the wall, and then promptly ignored him for now as she padded out into the middle of the room to stand opposite Five.

Five eyed the twin sais. This meant the jedi had shorter reach then her but at close range she had more mobility with two small weapons. Also, she could be prone to locks. She walked out to face Nala and bowed to her in respect. The moment she got out of the bow the strikes started.
She stepped forward with her right leg, and swung the under side of her staff aiming to strike at Nala at chest level, aiming to prod at the defences of her oponent with a quick jab, then swing it back down to jab at her shin, trying to dislocate her footing and thus bring Nala out of balance. Five herself held the staff at the end with her left hand and a bit further down the shaft with the right for better control so she would be way outside Nalas range, but Nala would be in hers.
She had to learn how to fight one-eyed early on after her mistress had her remove her own eye. In close combat she had to rely on counting feet for range and make it a second nature. This way she could be quasi sure where her range ended and where did her opponents do the same. It wasnt fail free, but still removed most of the hardships of fighting with only one eye.

Nala's choice of weapon did emphasize greater mobility, and if she once got within Five's reach, she'd make her pay for it. The trick would be getting there.
She bowed to the other Twi'Lek, lekku dangling limply behind her to imply no harsh feelings, then she straightened, sais pulled up to guard position. Nala twisted to face Five, left foot coming forward even as she caught the end of Five's staff with her left sai and deflected it out away from her. As Five switched attacks into a slash at Nala's forward shin, the green Twi'Lek danced backward out of range and turned, placing her right side closer to Five just outside the reach of her staff. Her right arm was bent, sai pointing upward covering her face, left hand loose in towards her midriff.
For now she was watching to gauge the other female's style. Soon enough it would be her turn.

As nala danced back, Five danced forward to try to match her, keeping her right side in profile for the jedi all along. She aimed a thrust at Nalas belly, then quickly pulled the staff back so she could administer an other jab at the chest with an other step fowrward to give the strike some power and speed. She was aiming to force Nala towards the corner behind her, and then finnish her off. Five kept her lekkus behind herself, very well knowing what would happen if they got hit too.
