When Sinina replied, Zalor could sense that she was suddenly quite concerned for her friend Jashin's safety. But, when she mentioned that he was in potentially life-threatening danger, then Zalor became concerned, too. With his decision made to aid Raven and her companions however he could, Zalor shut off his Neubian innkeeper mentality and turned on his Jedi Shadow mentality full-blast. At first, he followed Sinina out of the alley back into the streets. Once in the streets, however, Zalor increased his pace so that he was almost in a jog, ahead of Sinina.
"I think we should bring Master Raven up to speed first, then go after your friend. C'mon, let's head back to the Ja'raak Inn. I need my gear. I'm coming with you to go after him, and I wanna be prepared for anything." Zalor fell silent for a few seconds before turning back to face Sinina and adding... "And don't bother telling me not to come along. A friend of Master Raven's is a friend of mine, and I take care of my friends. Gar're shi sa kovid sa te vod projor at gar. That one I'll always remember."
Zalor led Sinina back to the Ja'raak Inn's familiar front lobby. Once inside, they found Raven, Loki and R2 standing near the front entrance, with Tanara not too far off. Zalor was barely in the door when he turned to Raven and spoke with a sense of urgency...
"Master Raven...I think we might have a situation."

*Sin walked along, not as in a big of a rush as Zalor seemed to be, her runes glowing enough that her skin felt warmed by them, which she found scarily comfortable. Most times they worried her when they showed up, she had no idea what they were or why she had them, how she got them. Anything. She didn't even look at Sunshine as he climbed into his speeder and went off.
She herself was so angry at the situation, but she walked at her own pace, into the inn. She was so deep into her anger that she was almost at like a sort of Zen like state. On the surface everything looked calm, collected, every step with a purpose. She wanted answers, that apparently someone had. She hadn't even had a chance to get a splicer, how could he have gotten into trouble already? She had one thought in mind, Massat would be her target if anything happened to him. She looked at Raven, she was so zenlike in her anger that her voice came out even in her High Nubian accent.*
We were given a Room number at another Inn, to get information... apparently Jashin has already found trouble.... again...

Loki walked away from the two, though their words followed his ears as he looked out the open doorway leading to an alleyway, the tome Raven had mentioned once or twice before was being discussed, as he looked out on the alley, he sensed not one, not two but three life forces he took a cybernetic digit and touched it to the side of his head, a minute later his cybernetic eye zoomed in on the figures a little down the way Sninia, Zalor and an unknown man off to the side. Loki sighed deeply and looked back at Raven clasping her cloak once more, wondering what she had shown the strange man Loki looked back outside and then walked back to stand with Raven listening to the count explain things, his words were both alarming, yet almost as though a veiled threat. Loki looked up the old man down, he was frowning he did not like this mans words, about how Raven would live and endure until all she cared for died and then she too would wither, look strode forward until he was but a step or two away he towered over the sitting form, though he'd tower even if the Count had been standing. "This is the Arcturus I've heard about? A weak doddering fool who threatens the purest being I've yet encountered in this galaxy." Loki said darkly, his silver iris flashing yellow briefly his frown was dangerous, not sad his brow furrowed, Loki reached out feeling the man's life force. "You are not long for this realm." Loki said scoffing at him. "So, you are Ragortos?" Loki said stiffly leaning away from the man and walking back towards Raven."How do you know this man?" Loki said simply. "And if you wish him dispatched, it would be my honor." Loki said formally turning around and facing the man again a few feet behind Raven. "He's the pirates father?" Loki added looking towards the open door.

Raven sat there for a moment, almost stone faced as the Count left. She deeply wished their conversation could have been about something at least somewhat more pleasant- or not pertaining to her so heavily. The evils of the universe was a much more tempting topic than the evil within herself- etched on her very skin. The way he told it- there was little to nothing she herself could do about the course of events. Her life would forever be a down hill slope- if but a shallow one, depending on how long she could keep a handle on herself, and a cliff could await her at any moment.
And he wanted to help. He wanted to spend the small amount of time he still possessed in this life- to fix a mistake she had made and that hurt almost as much, if not more than the mark itself. Part of her mind told her she couldn't possibly expect him to sacrifice his energy and little time to fix her problems- and the other part of her brain told her that was the mark talking, not wanting to be removed. Endless conspiracy theories, of herself being her own worst enemy spun in a dizzying pattern in her mind such that Loki's brash words thundering over her sounded just like that- distant thunder. She pretty much ignored him for a moment after he spoke directly to her- just staring blankly out at the door. She'd always fought against dark influences which sought to tempt her- but somewhere deep down, she knew, not even she could fight against this. It was the nature of things- of the force.
It's not his fault...
Alora said at length. Her bland tone sharply contrasted the normal bright voice of the small Jedi master. She did not turn her eyes to look at Loki- only glanced down at her chest, where the mark rested, hidden under her robes. The blame for ones future can only ever rest on their shoulders. This?....this is my doing and no one else's. I just- I could have gone my whole life without hearing that entire conversation. No one wants to be told they have a terminal illness.
She slowly stood to her feet, wincing as the dark etchings sent a pang of agony sweeping through her. With trembling hands, she fumbled for the empty mug which once held water, and held it in both hands. But unlike most illnesses- I brought this one on myself, because I was eager, Impatient... arrogant. I saw a problem, and I alone- Jedi Master Raven Alora, was the only one who could fix it. Felucia was my responsibility. Not the Jedi who fought along side me- not the natives who lived there. Felucia was mine to protect. She still did not turn her eyes to Loki- even though it was obvious she was speaking to him. No one else in the inn really came to her mind presently. She fought to control her quickening breath.
That lie carried me to the one place I swore I would never go to solve my problems. When the light failed me- I hastily moved to the next option, the darkside- She clinched onto the mug as another jab of pain cascaded through her. She was surprised her robes hadn't caught fire yet, such was the burning emotions swirling within her, displaying themselves in ancient script under her clothing. But not just a little lightning or anything- No. I had to make sure the problem was solved and would never come back again. I had to delve into things I didn't understand, power I had no business tapping into. I was so desperate- I didn't listen to a dark jedi when he flat out told me to stop... someone who should be eager to see a servant of Ashla falter like I had. But I was so intent on the goal. I contained Legion's threat- I tethered him to one spot on the planet, but in doing so I tethered a part of myself there also, and now also, a part of myself to the very power I should never have wielded.
Her voice had grown in intensity, but not volume, making for an almost eerie transition. She seemed transfixed on the mug in her tightening grip, yet blind to the small fractures forming along its ceramic edges. How could I have been so blind to think hiding it would only ever end in chaos!
The mug shattered. The world came back into focus. An echo distant voice of Zalor- then a strange voice from Sinina.
A situation?...... Another Inn?...... splintered ceramic fragments at her feet. The small Jedi looked down at the remains of the mug and shook her head. How could Zalor call her master? How could Loki stand over her to protect her from something no one could understand? How could Sinina walk in here with such bottled up rage and not rip the place apart? How could Raven stand there without screaming at everyone to deal with their own issues and leave her alone? The universe made absolutely no sense at all.
She suddenly felt so very tired, and cold, and sad. I'm- ... I'm going to need a bit more details.... I'm afraid...
Alora stuttered breathlessly, staring between her trembling fingers at the broken mug. She swallowed hard and cleared her throat as she stooped to try and gather up all the pieces. I'm sorry... She said hollowly. She wasn't sure what she should do about the mark still scalding her body- but she knew one thing. Right now someone needed herself and last time she checked, she was still Jedi Master Raven Alora- and that meant she helped people....at least....that's what everyone kept telling her.

Much to Zalor's dismay, when Raven finally responded, she sounded less than her cordial self, which had only been an hour ago, when Zalor, Raven and Loki were all discussing business. Something had happened in that short amount of time.
"Master Raven?"
Zalor darted to Raven's side, gently grabbed both her shoulders and insisted that she sit down in a chair in the lobby just fifteen feet from where she stood, without even thinking about what Loki would do if he so much as touched her.
The maintenance droids which were hard at work cleaning up the wine spill on the floor from the Count's visit now moved to sweep and vacuum up the broken shards of mug that had broken in Raven's hand.
"Master Raven, are you alright?" She didn't respond right away, but as Zalor studied her face and her slightly trembling hands, Zalor could tell that she wasn't. Zalor spun around and summoned Artoo, grateful that Tanara had given him medical programming, something Zalor wouldn't have thought to add to an astromech droid. "Artoo, come check her out for me."
The little astromech droid responded with a few beeps, and without hesitation, R2-D4 rolled up to Raven, then opened up a small medical scanner from inside his chrome-plated chassis. The scanner began scanning Raven from head to toe with a small, harmless laser, which scanned her three times. When R2 was finished, he pulled the scanner back in, then traded it with a small kolto spray, which shot a small dose of the healing agent right in Raven's face, at first, then a couple more sprays at her shoulders and torso.
[Whistle-click-beep-beep-click-beep]
The droid gave Zalor a full report on what he could figure out from his medical scanning, making sure to add that the kolto only seemed to had a minor effect on her.
"Alright, thanks Artoo." Zalor nodded in approval at his trusty droid, then turned back to face the apparently very stressed Jedi Master. He gently placed his hands back on her shoulders, and stared her in the face with a solemn, stern look. "We'll take care of it, Master Raven. According to Artoo, you're really stressed out, and you need to relax. I'll make sure Tryn and the other employees see that you're made comfortable. Sit and take a load off for awhile, alright? Make yourself at home here."
After making sure that Raven responded positively, Zalor took his hands off Raven, then slowly spun around to face Loki and Sinina, and whomever of Raven's crew happened to be in earshot. Zalor made sure to face Loki specifically, though, hoping the giant Zabrak would understand that Zalor meant well.
"So, apparantly, another member of your crew - 'Jashin', I think his name was - seems to be in some kind of trouble. The Count's major domo, if you could call him that, met with us and gave us some information on how to find him. Sinina and I are gonna go check it out."

*She bites her lip looking the woman up and down a moment. She seemed to be a friend of Loki's and Raven's. She lowered her voice as it seemed she may have just found what she was looking for and didn't need to talk to the entire room anymore.*Well, it was my mothers, this thing has been through ship wrecks, explosions, and who knows what else.. Its old. And tempermental. Being the daughter of a Nightsister, and an Assassin... its been password protected heavily... And I am horrid at remembering them all... I locked myself out of it.. I need someone to get it open for me.. *She bites her lip softly as she spun the pad onto the table with an exasperated huff. The datapad itself did look like it was older, and a number of scoring that looked like it could match the story. Sin wasn't really lieing, though she didn't know truthfully what all it had had to endure.* She listened intently to the woman's description of the datapad. Her mind immediately began spinning out ideas and solutions on how to slice into the datapad. Before she could suggest any of them however, the dark-skinned woman ranted at the elderly man who had approached them, and then she stormed out of the inn. The Twi'lek was highly confused, and was going to follow, but her friend beat her to it and swiftly followed the woman out. Confident her friend could handle that situation, she turned her attention back to the datapad, left sitting on the table. She gently picked it up and started to examine it. It certainly looked old and worn, she was a little surprised it even still worked considering the condition it was in. After a moment, she attempted to access the data within the datapad, and confirmed that it was indeed password protected. It had been probably a month since she last sliced into a datapad, though it had been a much newer datapad with a far more exploitable operating system. These old style datapads were a lot more simple, and didn't allow for as many possible functions as the newer ones, thus their operating systems were better programmed for security. Fortunately for her, she had been slicing into older systems for years.
It only took her a few minutes to bypass all the security and unlock the datapad, finally revealing what data was being stored. Nothing...the datapad was blank. All that security, for nothing? Did she somehow set off a trap that erased the datapad? She was pretty sure she hadn't, those kinds of traps weren't commonly used in the older models. It was a more customized model though, perhaps Sin's mother had had it added in? In any case, the datapad was now unlocked, and to further help, she also reset all the passwords, allowing Sin to make new ones that she actually would remember instead of the old ones.
It was around that point that Zalor and Sin finally returned to the inn. She signaled the dark skinned woman over, holding up the now unlocked datapad."Hey, I unlocked your datapad for you."

*Sin was in a hurry, she wanted to be underway...10 minutes ago. She looks at Raven, deep beneath her flood of emotion she felt bad, and sorry about it, but at the moment, impulse, emotion, and urgency won out hard.*
Sorry Raven, Its alot on the plate. We'll go for a relaxing spa day after this over.
*She forced herself to give a smile to the woman, though she was rushed and wanting to get moving, her words were fully honest. She would relax, later. Her body definitely needed it, even if the rest of her wouldn't wait and do it now. She paused and let Zalor do his explaining. She looked at Raven seriously for a long moment, she refused to even look at Loki, He was more of a Father figure to her then anyone else in the galaxy, she couldn't bring herself to look at him. If she did, she knew there would be a flood of emotions that she just couldn't deal with right now. The last thing she could deal with was telling him she was falling for someone. She bites her lip. She knew they would have to talk sometime... But she didn't have the time now to discuss it.*
Raven, I'm going now to see this person, if you aren't able that's fine. Just thought someone should know.
*She heard Tanara's voice, she broke the datapads security. Wonderful. Just the words she wanted to hear. She knew the pad to be empty. She even knew what the passwords had been, she lied. She felt she had done so pretty convincingly. She bites her lip softly. Did she have time to explain to Tanara? She shakes her head and looked at the woman.*
Splendid! I really didn't need it. I'm sorry. What i did need, was discretion. I'll explain more later. For now, just know, I appreciate your openness with me about your ability.
*Her words came a bit quicker than she'd thought them to be, but the longer she spent here, the more she wanted to get going, she looked at Zalor, nodding quietly then at Raven. She sighs deeply, then hugs the small woman again. She needed it, she turned on her heel, heading for the door. She grabs for the comlink that Jashin had given her. She squeezed it tightly in her hand, it did cause a spike of anger. She felt she should try to contact him. But what of the trouble this other man said he was in.. She sighs deeply, she didn't even look to see if Zalor followed her. She had one thing on her mind. Jakk. His information. If Loki would notice though, at that moment, she would look more like her mother then ever. From the way her hips moved as she walked, to the fire in her eyes, to her every step made with a purpose. She was determined to get what she wanted, and be damned any soul to get in her way.*

Dominic watched as Farris turned into that woman whom he a very strange relationship with at the moment, and leave with the case. It was dangerous, going back there as her, but Farris could take care of himself. He stood near the entrance to the Inn, and just contemplated that question in his head. "What was he going to do now?"
Not long after that, Adi would come in, looking like he had a hangover with those sunglasses of his, and Lavi walked over to his table, asking if he was ok.
It wasn't too much longer when a rich looking, elderly gentleman, instantly recognizable as a Firrerreo. Maybe a Noble of Theed? If so, what was he doing in a place like this? And why did he make his way straight to Raven..? He listened in to the conversation, and it became very enlightening. He learned about Sin, that woman who he knew was in the group, but never her name. There was a heated argument, and Dominic instinctively reached for his weapon, just keeping his hand on it. His grip tightened when his skin turned from gold to silver, and he was about to pull it out when it was resolved, and not much later he went out the alley doorway.
Near the end of this man's presence in the Inn, he caught another conversation, spoken by some 'Jashin' to Raven. He moved to a closer table and sat down to hear better. He spoke of Sith Alchemy, and the mark on her, and the Dagger. She told tales of a Dark Jedi, and some personal trouble in her past with the Light and Dark sides of the Force. This was all... a dump of information he had to process. Felucia... if he was to hide out anywhere from the Program, that would be it. Not the most remote, but just about anyone could hide in those dense and dangerous jungles.
Then there was the sound of something shattering, and Dominic reflexively turned his head towards them, and the broken mug. Zalor helped pick up the pieces, and he noted that. He also noted that his droid could do medical scans... That was handy. He wondered how extensively it could search. He wasn't building hope that it could help him in any means, but there was always the small chance. It wasn't like he knew everything about his condition.
He would keep his seated position near Raven, just listening and waiting for them to either get a move on, someone spoke to him, or Farris came back.

Why was everything moving so dreadfully fast? how did she get in the lobby, when seconds ago she was in the cafe? Where did Loki go? Who was this person looking at her so worriedly. What was that beeping sound? The small jedi jerked violently when the spray of kolto hit her in the face- almost as if someone had thrown a punch at her. Blinking rapidly, she shook her head and closed her eyes. She had all four limbs. Her head worked. She wasn't in any pain that was new to her. Leaning her head back against the chair, she sighed slightly and forced her mind to center itself on current events, not the past, and absolutely not the future.
She sat like that for several minutes, completely unmoved- even as Sinina spoke to her. Raven's breathing became slow and shallow- only pausing when Sinina suddenly hugged her. Luckily the Jedi had calmed down enough to only stiffen at the hug, rather than force punch the Echani in the chest or something drastic. It was only after Sinina turned and began to walk away did Alora finally open her eyes. She was leaving- because she was in a hurry, and she wasn't sure if Raven was capable of going with her, and while Sinina said it was alright- Raven knew very well that it wasn't. How could a few bits of information completely dismantle her like that. When the Jedi spoke- she spoke far more solidly than before.
Sinina- wait. You're not going out there alone. Let Anari catch up. I'd come with you- but at least right now, a...violent situation probably wouldn't be the best thing for me to engage in....
She blinked and looked over at Zalor. Her expression became a thin line as she spoke a little more softly to him. I appreciate your help Zalor. But this is something no one can help me with. Maybe I'll tell you one day- but for now, just know that i'm perfectly capable of putting my issues aside to aid others. I am a Jedi. I'll be fine. She looked at Sinina for a moment then back to Zalor. Keep her safe- and stay in contact. I won't leave Theed without you.
She stood to her feet, fighting against the urge to wince from the pain the mark was giving her. It would die down in a few more minutes, but right now it was still very irritated. She was thankful no one could see it- thought she hadn't considered how attuned Zalor was with the force. He may be able to feel it's dark energy. She wasn't sure, and she didn't care. Time was precious. And- I really am sorry about the broken mug. She gave a quick smile to the droid. I really hate setting this one out...... but you're right. I need to think some things through before I touch my lightsaber again....

When Raven turned back to Zalor and responded to her, Zalor seemed pleased that reported she would be alright. Zalor was right about one thing, though - whatever was going on with Raven was more than she let on, but she insisted that whatever was really wrong with her was beyond Zalor's aid. Zalor understood. He quickly glanced back at Sinina, who was already on her way out the door, determined to go find Mr. Ryder. Not wanting to be left behind, Zalor quickly turned back to Raven as he stood up to his full height and grabbed his satchel with his gear in it.
"Thanks, Master Raven. And don't worry about Sinina, I'll watch her back for you, you can count on it."
Zalor had a million things going on in his head. He started towards Tryn, who was just coming to speak to Zalor, when Zalor turned back one more time to Raven and added... "And don't worry about the mug! My people will take care of it! And you!"
Tryn Andalar, the old man who ran the Ja'raak Inn, came up to Zalor. He quickly glanced over at the obviously shaken Jedi Master sitting in the chair and the broken mug that the droids were cleaning up. "What's goin' on, Zal? Everything alright over here?"
Zalor stopped in front of Tryn, anxious to leave before Sinina left without him, which she seemed determined to do. He knew he had to get Tryn up to speed, however. It seemed their trip off of Naboo would have to wait after all. "Uh, yeah. Everything's fine, I've got it under control. Um...Master Raven isn't feeling well, so we're going to postpone our trip until she's better. She'll stay here at the Inn for now. I need you and the others to keep her comfortable."
Tryn looked back at Master Raven. He seemed pleased that they weren't leaving yet, as he still wasn't ready to see Zalor leave. Nevertheless, he did feel sorry for the small Jedi Master, and gave Zalor a reassuring nod. "Oh, not to worry, son. We can handle that." Tryn, however, seemed to notice that Zalor was anxious to leave, and he frowned at him. "Well..if y'all ain't leaving Naboo yet, then where are you in a hurry to now?"
"I have something urgent to take care of here in Theed. I'll be back soon." Zalor said without missing a beat. "I gotta go." With that, Zalor was out the door, without even bothering to acknowledge Loki, Tanara or Artoo. Sinina was already in the streets, having ignored Raven's plea for her to wait for Zalor.
Once Zalor was out the door, he could see Sinina crossing the street to head to her destination. He yelled out to her and waved as he ran frantically out into the street, nearly running out in front of a passing speeder. "Hey! Wait up! I said I was coming with you! Hold up!"
Back inside the Inn, Artoo, disappointed that Zalor had to take off in such a hurry, merely rolled up to Master Raven and calmly whistled at her.
[Whistle-sad moan]
The droid seemed to reassure her that he would be here to keep her company, and offer kolto if she needed it.

Wordlessly Arcturus stared out the window of the speeder as it spiraled through the sky, the vehicle slowly making its way to the run down inn that Jakk was currently staying at. He was lost in thought, pensive, and more than a little irritated. He had barely been on the planet a full day - and already the entire plan had changed drastically. But was that not the nature of the force? It worked mysteriously indeed, and, in the life of a Sorreaux - often more forcefully than with others. Slowly the speeder sat down, and Arcturus exited quickly and impatiently, reluctant to let the droid open the door for him. Seeing Raven Alora had put more vigor into his blood than he had felt in years. Was that because it reminded him of old times? Or...was it because he sensed this would be his last adventure?
That particular question went unanswered as Arcturus reached Jakk's door, his knuckles rapping twice on the plasteel before the door was yanked open and Arcturus was ushered inside. The interior was sparse, merely a bed and refresher, the air heavy with the scent of Marcan herb smoke - the downside of employing someone who was a heavy smoker.
"The plan has changed." Arcturus stated darkly, prompting Jakk to arch an eyebrow questioningly. "The Jedi woman. She bears a remnant." Said Arcturus, elaborating.
"...Can you fix it?" Asked Jakk, dubiously taking in the elderly Count, who even now shook slightly from the exertion of walking.
"Yes. No. Maybe." Answered Arcturus quickly and in rapid succession. Shaking his head, the Count dusted off the bed before sitting down on it. "It is an older mark. Less refined than the mark of Baran-Tor. It achieves through brute force what my mark achieves through subtlety. It will be difficult to remove. Very, very difficult."
"And as I can do nothing to contribute in that arena...you want me to get Jashin personally." Stated Jakk, a slightly horrified look dawning on his face as he connected the dots.
"It is far from ideal." Admitted Arcturus. "But it is the only option."
"He'll kill me on sight!" Spluttered Jakk in response, rising from his chair and lighting a new cigara. "You know I'm no fighter!"
"You'll survive; you always do." Arcturus said tiredly, leaning back on the bed. "We must do this Jakk. I must erase a grievous mistake of the past, and you must ensure the future. Clan Sorreaux's future depends on it. Failure will mean our extinction."
At those grim words Jakk stopped pacing, sighing deeply - a great cloud of smoke following. "...We're out of our league." Jakk finally said at length, turning to regard the older Firrerreo. "Used to, this would have all been handled already." Jakk muttered, dropping the cigara and grinding it out with his heel.
"Truly so. Dante is in the late stages of hospice, Duval renounced all title and fights in the war, and I myself abdicated the throne long ago. The minor nobles, the few that are left, have scattered in the absence of a clear patriarch to lead the House. The glory days have fled...the power we wielded is gone." Arcturus said bluntly.
"Then why come back into the fold now?" Argued Jakk, incredulous. "Surely, far more good could have been done - maybe even as far as saving the entire clan - if you had acted sooner."
"Probably." Admitted Arcturus from his prone position. "I did not interfere further because I firmly believed - and still do for that matter - that I would only damage things further. We are here, Jakk, not to save the clan...but to undo my mistakes. The rest, the future...is in the hands of the next generation. And, if done properly...I shall undo both mistakes at once."
"What do you propose?" Inquired Jakk, peering out the window of the room to make sure the Jedi and woman from earlier would not intrude.
"I bound my progeny, my children, and their children, and so on, with mental blocks that limit their access to the force. My blood is strong, and I feared, in the early days of the House, that they would fight each other for power. I could not foresee that my son would grow jealous of his brother when he discovered his power, and in turn - nearly - destroy his own House by turning to the darkside. I also could not foresee a child of my son, my grandson, straying so far from the House and growing so disenchanted with the clan that he completely abandoned our ways. The mental barriers did next to nothing in preventing the very issues I sought to avoid." Arcturus paused, sitting up, looking Jakk in the eye. "When I remove the mark from the Jedi, I shall transfer it from herself to me. The combined power of the marks will double my connection in the force, allowing me to destroy the marks, the Tome, and the mental barriers within my bloodline. I shall reset the things I have put into motion, and balance, at long last, will be attained. In the process...I shall be destroyed." Arcturus ended grimly, his tone brokering no room for outbursts or disagreement. This was the plan, and an order at that - from a Count to a lesser noble.
Stunned, Jakk fumbled for another Cigara - only to find them all gone. Coughing slightly, trying to assess the situation, Jakk eventually broke the tense silence. "Your will be done, Count. What would you have me do?"
The tension drained out of Arcturus at that acknowledgement - and he leaned backward, resting on the bed once more. Closing his eyes, he gathered energy, dwelling deeper and deeper in the force. "With Jashin, you must kill several birds with one stone. He is distanced from the clan, bound by a life debt, and is now under great scrutiny by the Alliance and the First Order - who suspect he has vital information. You must offer him a new option other than running; offer him a grand solution."
"That solution being to rejoin the family, assume his rightful station, and to train with you with what limited time you have." Finished Jakk, understanding Arcturus' line of reasoning. "And should he refuse?"
"He will not." Replied Arcturus firmly, with such certainty as to make Jakk glance at him questioningly. "The Counts of Serenno do not complain and cry. We are born to take care of others. We don't expect others to take care of us." Elaborated Arcturus, quoting Count Dooku from ages past. "Truer words have never been spoken. And though Jashin is removed from his heritage...he can't stop being a Count. It's in his nature. Already he acts to protect those he cares about. With no complaint, and with no expectation for his friends to help - he simply left and dealt with the danger to them. Those are the actions of a Count if ever there were one. Beyond this, he wears the jacket of his father - a precious heirloom - and holds fast to the Firrerreon traditions." Arcturus chuckled slightly, shaking his head. "He's far more like us than he realizes. All he needs is to be shown his own potential. Once that has happened...he will inherit his father's title. What he does with this title...is up to him." Arcturus gestured to the door. "Go. Now. I must rest. Do not return without Jashin. Take my ship."
Bowing, Jakk exited the room, locking the door behind himself. The Count must truly want seclusion to put up with resting in such a dead end hotel. But that was the Count's business. Jakk has his mission...he had to carry it out now. Inwardly, though, he couldn't help but doubt the entirety of the plan. Count Sorreaux seemed so old...and what he proposed, surely his body would give out before he accomplished his task? And then there was Jashin. While Jakk would attempt - and attempt till he died - to get Jashin to realize his potential, Jakk, at the same time, honestly wondered if Jashin had this potential. He was like his father, Dante, in every regard - but Dante had retained his title and duty, even through his youthful indiscretion. Dante had also broken through his own mental barrier, and discovered his birthright himself. So really...was Jashin not even less worthy than Dante? Or would the realization that he could, potentially, surpass his family in ability and skill be motivating enough to make Jashin commit fully to the clan?
Jashin had left the clan and the Court as a whole over the fact he had - seemingly - not inherited force sensitivity. His family had hoped that, on his own, separate from the clan and Serenno, the young man would find his way to his power himself. But over time Jashin simply became embittered...would telling him he had it the whole time really be beneficial? Wouldn't Jashin simply become even more embittered, and potentially lash out at the family for lying to him and allowing him to believe what he did? But it wasn't his place to question. No...it was his place to obey. Jakk would have to find a way to make jashin accept it all. One way or another.
Idly, Jakk waited at the entrance to the inn, waiting for the woman and Jedi from earlier to arrive. They had little time to act - and time was of the essence.

*Sin waved her hand almost dismissively at Raven, she didn't stop, nor did she rush, she would let him catch up, but she wasn't going to stop completely. She knew her guardian would smack her if she saw her attitude today, but she didn't have time to be pleasent and nice. She had to get going. She exited the Inn, and walked onwards. She heard Zalor shout behind her, she sighed deeply and shakes her head, she didn't really stop but slowed enough for him to catch up. She wasn't trying to be mean or rude like she was.*
Don't get run over... I would hate to have to explain that to Raven..
*She bites her lip softly and sighs again.*
Sorry.. I'm worried about him. He got into plenty of trouble and I've only known him a short time... if his Grandfather has risked this much to come after him.. My guess is its way worse.
*She sped back up to her pace she was at before, mentally going over a check list of what items she'd had in her belt, checking the state of her saber. She didn't know what to expect, so naturally she expected the worst. She was angry for other reasons as well, but those would come later. Her main goal was to get to this inn and find what the kriff this Jakk was on about. When they round the final corner, having grown up here, she knew all the best shortcuts and paths to get there quickly, hoping that Zalor would keep up fine. She see's Jakk standing there as it came into view. She didn't speak to him, letting the man make the first move.*

Zalor kept running until he had caught up to Sinina. Surprisingly not the least bit out of breath when he did finally rejoin her, he listened to her concerned comments about Jashin, then nodded in reply.
"Well, if that's the case, then I'm glad you're eager to bail him out. Whoever this Jashin guy is, he seems to have chosen at least one good friend. You're loyal, and strong in the Force. Between the two of us, we should be able to handle whatever he's gotten himself into."
Zalor touched his belt on his right side to make sure his lightsaber hilt was still attached. Satisfied when he felt the hilt touch his hand, he then reached for his S-5 blaster, then quickly and skillfully reloaded it. He promised himself he would only use his lightsaber in extreme cases. For now, his command of the Force and his trusty blaster, which he had practiced up with, should suffice for whatever they would run into. He put the blaster back in its holster and continued on.
"I may be rusty at this whole Jedi business, but the Force is still strong with me."
Zalor let Sinina lead them into the seedy back-alleys and slums of Theed, far from the Ja'raak Inn and the main square. Zalor always made it a point to avoid this area, as it was known for its vile crime syndicates, none of which the Royal Police could ever touch, despite numerous years' work of sting and deep cover operations to try and bust them up.
Before long, they had finally come up to their destination - a place Zalor had heard plenty about but had never actually been to: the Rhyatt Inn. From what Zalor knew, it was owned by a group of Duros gangsters, but that was only a rumor. Nevertheless, it was about as reputable a place to stay as any gangster hideout. Zalor could quickly tell that this place wouldn't be nearly in as good of shape, or as friendly, as the Ja'raak Inn.
Zalor gave a small, disgusted sigh at the building before commenting aloud... "There's three main Inns to stay at in Theed - the fancy, ritzy Royal Grand Hotel, my more homely and friendly Ja'raak Inn...then there's this place. The Rhyatt Inn. Never been here before, but from what I've heard of the place, never cared to."
As soon as they saw the building, though, Zalor also spotted the Count's servant, Mister Jakk Ryder, in all his scoundrel-like attire and attitude, waiting for them. "...and there's our new 'friend.'" Zalor gave out a small, contempt-filled sigh, as he was obviously not keen on dealing with this man again. Zalor then turned to glance at Sinina. "Well, I think I'll let you do most of the talking for now, since this is your mission. I've got your back, though. Promised Raven I would. You're up."

While he had waited, Jakk had been briefed by Al Massat via comlink, and, by the time the two force users had reached him, he was in a truly grim mood. The second he spied the pair approaching from his vantage point outside the inn, he shoved off from the wall he had been leaning on, and breezed past them - heading in the opposite direction. "We don't have time for pleasantries. We need to leave the planet."
Smoking heavily, the nearly spent cigara dangling between his lips, the man's former happy go lucky air had disappeared - replaced by a countenance that was all business and distinctly lacking in smiles and honeyed words. An insistent beeping came from the Firrerreos pocket - and not breaking stride, he answered it in a single smooth motion. "Yes? And? We already know that. Tell me something I don't know." The voice on the other end buzzed indistinctly, and Jakk rolled his eyes in response. "I know he took the Run via the Hydian. How did he get there so fast?" The voice sounded defensive now, and, in disgust, Jakk shut the link off, secreting it away back to his pocket. "This is what passes for Intelligence these days." He muttered under his breath. Shaking his head, lighting a new cigara, he turned to the pair as he walked, finally addressing them.
"Ok, just so we're all on the same page. This little jaunt we're on? It's an unsanctioned mission by the Parliament of Serenno, using me, an off the books Intelligence agent, and you guys - as contracted help." He raised his hand then, stopping any questions. "There's going to be a lot of questions, and plenty of them I can't answer. There are a few I can answer, though, and several pieces of information that are concrete facts. Fact one; Jashin, whether he acknowledges it or not, is considered a noble of Serenno by the Serenno Parliament. Fact two; Serenno is part of the Commonwealth Coalition - a number of neutral worlds staying out of the Alliance and First Order wars. Fact three; the Coalition is under immense pressure by both sides to join the war, and both sides have gone as far as undermining governments and inciting riots and civil war in order to pressure planets into falling in line."
Jakk scoffed derisively. "But, you know, that's humans for you. Anyway, continuing. Fact four; Jashin, all by his lonesome, has managed to obtain piece of critical military intelligence, courtesy of his mishap in orbit with the brief naval scuffle in Naboo space. Fact five; Jashin, realizing how momentous his predicament is - apparently still having some semblance of duty to his world, people, and friends - has run off by himself in a stolen starship and has reached Dantooine in record time by using unstable hyperlanes, secret pirating routes, and what I highly suspect are illegal favors. Fact six; Jashin, being an idiot, doesn't know that Dantooine is a fracking warzone..."
Jakk trailed off, rounding a corner, and entered a private docking facility in Theed. There, on a private pad, was a Stalwart-class freighter. Needle hulled with dagger like wings, the thing essentially looked like an oversized assault fighter, despite its tonnage capacity. For armament, a single double laser cannon mounted on a half-turret under the nose. Tapping out a brief code on his wristlink, Jakk entered the private pad, still speaking - without ever slowing his pace or hurried explanations. "Those are the facts. There are others, but they aren't important. Basically, we need to get to Jashin, extract him, and pray to the Firrerre Gods that his grandfather doesn't decide to kill me and eat my heart. We're also racing against the clock - the Coalition has sent kill teams after Jashin, to kill him and silence any news of him ever having the intel. Word gets out that a Serenno noble is contributing to the war effort - especially one belonging to a notoriously militant clan like Sorreaux - it could endanger the Coalition by making either the Alliance or First Order think that we have reneged on our non-aggression treaties. Understandably the Coalition wants to avoid this. Hence Count Sorreaux coming all this way to throw his diplomatic weight around, and send us and yours truly, to save the wayward pirate."
The ramp of the ship lowering, Jakk turned and paused, a foot resting on the ramp.
"Now, any questions? We have to travel from one end of the galaxy to the other, avoiding Alliance and FO territory. Jashin has managed - quite literally - to shave days off his trip. Impressive, considering he keeps blowing up his ships. Apparently he's a talented astronavigator."

*Sin looked at him, eyebrow raised, she gave a quiet, but indignant snort. It was clear he didn't know her that well to call her strong in the force. He should see her sister. She shakes her head, leaving the comment alone. She did have to roll her eyes a bit at him and nudge him, more friendly then any of her other notions toward him, shaking her head and shooting him a curious glance as she stopped.*
I lived here since I was 8... I spent more nights sneaking off to these sorts of places then I did at home the last few years...
*She smiled, and as she turned away from him, starting off ahead again ahead of him, her hips swayed and her body moved, she shoots him one last glance to see if he was still coming before she looked ahead to Jakk......who walked right by the opposite direction, leaving her stunned for a moment. She growls softly to herself before she turned to follow him. Surprisingly, Jashin had gotten into more trouble then even her imagination had concocted. She sighed deeply.*
Not really any questions... Unless you count: "Do I get to smack him first when we get there?" as a question

Listening to the briefing by the now oddly business-like Jakk Ryder, who was now revealed to be a Serenno Intelligence agent, the task of extracting Jashin from Dantooine sounded like a suicide mission. Zalor had heard on the HoloNet that there were talks by both the Alliance and the First Order of a potential major battle on the planet where Zalor first trained to be a Jedi, but his heart sunk when Ryder virtually confirmed Zalor's fears - Dantooine was a battleground.
The thing that worried Zalor the most was that they were leaving for Dantooine right now. Tanara and Artoo were still at the Ja'raak Inn, along with Loki, Master Raven, Tryn and the other employees - none of whom had suspected that Zalor would be leaving the planet. Zalor felt bad for abandoning all of them, but - whether he liked it or not, he had promised Sinina he would accompany her on her mission. Zalor was not about to go back on his word. He was too loyal of a friend for that. Abandoning Sinina now was out of the question.
Zalor, being the trained Jedi operative he was, wanted to know what he was up against. He needed all the intel he could squeeze from Agent Ryder to succeed in their mission. His mind was already full of questions, and - when Jakk finished his briefing - two main questions came to mind. Zalor cleared his throat and spoke up.
"Have either the Alliance or the Jedi Enclave made contact with 'Lord' Jashin yet? And, exactly what are these Coalition kill teams like? What can we expect if they find us first?"

"Not really any questions... Unless you count: "Do I get to smack him first when we get there?" as a question"
"I mean, feel free to hurt him. But, the two of you are involved, right? Do you have ANY idea what kind of track record his family has? Grandpa sparked off four wars, his uncle fought off the Mandalorians on Serenno, his dad - ha, his father." Jakk shook his head, hopelessly. "And don't get me started on JASHIN. He's not force-sensitive like the rest of them, but he makes up for it in sheer volume. He's his own brand of trouble: five hundred thousand worth of loans from Zordo the Hutt, two hundred thousand in property damage, the destruction of five - I guess now six - personal ships, all through sheer bad luck. And then there was the incident on Ryloth, with the Twi'lek woman...and the Zygerian call girl debacle, and the Hrakian escort dilemma...and dont get me fracking started on the Zeltros affair. None of that even takes into account his criminal record. "Pirating, profiteering, smuggling, counterfeiting, larceny, fraud, tax evasion, kidnapping, extortion..." and that's just rattling off the first line of his criminal file." Jakk spluttered a little, practically flapping his hands in the air. "So, yeah. Get used to it. He's a Sorreaux."
"Have either the Alliance or the Jedi Enclave made contact with 'Lord' Jashin yet?"
"There's no way to tell, in all honesty. Dantooine is...well, it's pretty bad; massive - massive - casualties on both sides." Jakk tapped his foot impatiently, dropping a cigara to the ground, before lighting another - the entire thing a single practiced motion.
"As for who they send after Jashin. Best case scenario the Coalition itself sends a commando team. Might not see Jashy boy as much of a threat. Worst case scenario..." Jakk trailed off, before shrugging; albeit looking distinctly uneasy. "Worst case scenario, Parliament of Serenno decides to clean up Count Sunshine's mess. They send a House Guardsman, a Carta, basically one of the best bodyguard/assassins credits can buy - what Jashin was before he left Serenno. In that case...we'll probably be looking at casualties."
Jakk cleared his throat, waving a hand. "But that's pretty unlikely. If there's a single thing Jashin can do, it's survive. Besides the fact, with the mess Dantooine is in right now, Jashin has essentially disappeared on its surface. Hence why we're taking the girl here. Force bonds among lovers." Jakk looked like he was going to vomit, but seemed to stifle his disgust.
Just then, an insistent beeping came from Jakk's comlink, and he held up a finger, apparently receiving new intel. "Hold on a sec."

The Twi'lek girl was highly confused upon being told that the strange woman didn't actually need the datapad unlocked, and then she didn't even take the datapad back. It was just a ruse to get her to out herself as a highly capable slicer. How clever. She watched both her friend and the strange woman leave the inn rather quickly, and decided after a few moments of deliberation, to follow them. She had several reasons for this. First, because she wanted to give the datapad back. Second, because she knew her friend would probably need her help, as he had always been somewhat helpless without his friends. And finally, because it might prove to be more interesting than just hanging around the inn. As she got up, she quickly drew her attention towards the blue and white astromech droid that her friend had left behind.
"Never mind her Artooie, she'll be fine. Let's go. Whether he wants to acknowledge it or not, Zal is gonna need our help."
She knew that the droid would have a hard time keeping up with their quick pace, and mentally rebuked herself for not installing those boosters. Knowing she had few options, she quickly released her suppression of the Force, which immediately started blasting her with waves of Dark Side energies emanating from the massive Zabrak. She did her best to ignore the nearly overwhelming nauseous feeling and wrapped the astromech with the Force, lifting it off the ground. She knew she wouldn't be able to keep that up for too long, and so she booked it out of the inn as fast as she could, keeping the droid hovering just behind her. Just like she had done so many years ago, the Twi'lek girl followed the faint trail of her friend's Force Essence. It was difficult, as she had to contend with all the traffic of speeders and pedestrians, as well as focus on the trail AND keep the astromech droid hovering behind her. Just when she thought she was catching up however, the trail suddenly switched directions and went in a completely different way. That was odd, she thought he said they were dealing with something in Theed. She knew from her perfect recollection of the city map, that the direction the trail was pointing towards was a bunch of private landing bays. They were leaving the planet. Now she was completely certain her friend would need her along. Taking a deep breath, she put on a fresh burst of speed.
She finally reached the private landing bay and headed inside to find her friend, the strange woman and what she assumed to be a Firrerreo male, standing at the base of the ramp of a Stalwart-class freighter. Pleased with herself, she came to a stop beside her friend and carefully let the droid back onto the ground. She then proceeded to attempt to catch her breath. "Huff....huff...remind me...huff..to install those...huff...rocket boosters...huff...Artooie...huff...huff..."

It wouldn't be the first time I've smacked him for doing something stupid.. Its almost more of a greeting at this point...
*She sighed deeply giving her head a shake. She had already smacked him twice. She looked over at Zalor as he started asking his own questions. She was past the point of caring about details. She was in such a mood she would strike one down as soon as look at them, First Order or Rebellion. She wasn't about to let anyone stand in her way.
She glared at Jakk when he makes his face at her and comment about Force bonds.*
You claim to have dabbled, but make such faces of me.. Something wrong with me?
*She stared hard at him, hand on her hip, the other hanging loosely next to her. Her silver eyes boring into him. She was distracted as she heard the sound of Tanara behind them with a droid. She looked behind her at them and smiles as pleasantly as she could muster.*
Oh.. Well, you didn't have to run all this way just to return my datapad.. I'm sure it would have went along with the crew with the rest of my stuff...

"As for who they send after Jashin. Best case scenario the Coalition itself sends a commando team. Might not see Jashy boy as much of a threat. Worst case scenario..." Besides the fact, with the mess Dantooine is in right now, Jashin has essentially disappeared on its surface. Hence why we're taking the girl here. Force bonds among lovers." Jakk looked like he was going to vomit, but seemed to stifle his disgust. Zalor listened to Jakk talk about the possible odds of resistance on the Coalition's end. At best, a group of somewhat highly-trained soldiers. No problem - the Red Fang had thrown all sorts of them Zalor's way all the time back on Endor. At worst - one very highly-trained assassin. Again, no problem - the Red Fang had thrown plenty of those at Zalor as well, although each one was always different, and no doubt the Serenno's hitmen would be a new challenge. With a major battle being fought between the Alliance and the First Order on Dantooine - the biggest threat Zalor figured he might face was one of these so-called "Knights of Ren." They sounded extremely dangerous, even more so than any government assassin.
Zalor, however, turned and did a double-take at Sinina when the Agent mentioned that she and this Jashin were lovers. She mentioned they hadn't known each other that long. Still - could there be a love bond between them like he and Sayra had?
Zalor was wide-eyed as he questioned the Echani woman. "...so this is your boyfriend we're rescuing? You told me he was just a friend. Interesting."
Zalor shook his head and folded his arms as he turned back to face the Agent. He muttered to himself. "Hoo boy. Now I know how Sayra felt when I went on solo ops." Zalor turned back to glance at Sinina's facial and body language. He could slowly see Sayra standing there in her place, looking and acting the same that Sinina did had the roles had been different. Zalor could sense she was very anxious, and her affection and worry towards Jashin was now obvious.
[Loud whistle-beep-click]
Zalor was interrupted when he heard a familiar sound behind him. Artoo had found them! But how?
When he turned around, however, he was surprised to see an out-of-breath Tanara Ajahn running up to him. Suddenly glad to see the both of them, his face brightened.
"Tanara! Artoo! How did you guys find us?"
