You claim to have dabbled, but make such faces of me.. Something wrong with me?
Jakk scoffed aloud before answering. "Every sentient alive has urges, sweeting. And in relieving those urges, I have indeed dabbled. But there is no scenario in which I would form an lasting emotional bond with an offworlder. Certainly not an intimate one. Anything beyond that is reserved for someone of my own species."
Taking the comm call, then, he listened intently to a rather panicked sounding individual on the other end. Patting the air with his hands, he conversed with the individual in low tones, a hand dipping into his jacket as a foreign individual ran up to them at speed, breathing hard. That hand fell back to his side, though, as Zalor conversed with the woman. Hanging up, Jakk sighed, before gesturing wildly to the ship.
"And no we are four. Please, board the ship? We have confirmation of a First Order craft in Naboo space. I would very, very much like to get the hell out of here before they make planet fall."

She closed her eyes for a moment and focused on her old training to calm her breathing. After a few moments, she had caught her breath and was able to talk properly. She opened her eyes again and directed her attention first to the woman first. She held out the datapad for her to take, and also held up her own gold plated lightsaber so that she could see it.
"You said that the datapad used to be your mothers. I figured you would want it back sooner rather than later, especially if it was all you had of your mother. All I have of my own mother is her old lightsaber here. I'd be devastated if I lost it. But besides that, I make it a point when doing slicing work for someone, to ensure that only myself and the person I'm working for have access to what I'm working on. Not even my fiancee would be allowed to touch it."
She put her lightsaber back on her belt, then turned her attention to her friend. She gave him a somewhat sorrowful smile.
"I found you the same way I tracked you down five years ago, when you had gone off by yourself and Vincent and I came to bring you home. I followed your Force Essence, you leave a fairly distinct trail. Do you remember that day? I don't blame you if you don't, it wasn't a good day for any of us, especially me."
She nodded briefly at the Firrerreo male and gestured to the blue and white astromech droid.
"Come on Artooie, let's get on board. Then someone can fill us in on what's going on, and why we're leaving the planet."
She calmly walked on board the freighter and made her way to the cockpit. She had no trouble navigating through the ship, as this model of starship was one of the nearly every model that she had made perfect replica miniatures of. She was intimately familiar with the layout. Out of habit, she took a seat in the co-pilot's chair and began to power up the ship.

*Sin's dark grey skin seemed to darken on her cheeks, and she looked away from Zalor quickly, flustered for a moment. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes.*
Boyfriend?! I never... I said... We've gotta get going.
*She said, trying to change the subject. She knew deep down, she had made it painfully obvious how she felt, the incident with Jashin in Orbit, and now this, she sighed deeply, she just couldn't seem to keep a handle on her emotions, and it got worse the more visible the runes got. Which only was made more obvious when Zalor talks about some woman he knew that must have liked him and comparing it to her right now. She shakes her head, they had to get going, she looked at Jakk.*
No scenario so far. There is only a small line, the more dabbling, the more blurred the line gets. Then one day the lines gone.
*Believe her or not, she didn't care, it was true, when one pushes a boundry, eventually it breaks. She turned to Tanara and smiles at her. It was her mothers and it did have some value, but none near as strong as memory to her. She took the offered datapad and put it in her pack. She looked back at Tanara.*
Sorry to fool you.. but last I'd seen Jashin, he told me to find a splicer, but to be quiet about it in case I was being watched...
*She groans softly and shakes her head. That was stupid, of all places she could be watched here was more likely then at the Inn. She started for the ship, moving up the ramp. Her silver brow furrowed. She looked back at Jakk, things didn't really make sense. She waited for the ramp to close, looked around taking in every detail she could before looking again at Jakk.*
So.. Then.. what do you know of Massat?

Zalor smiled and shook his head at Tanara. He was once again reminded of how glad he was she had showed up yesterday. After Agent Ryder mentioned that there was now a First Order ship in Naboo space, which came as a surprise to Zalor, he quickly made his way up the ramp of the strange freighter, with R2 close on his heels. It worried him that a First Order ship had come to Naboo, but with members of Raven's crew having tangled with the First Order before making landfall on Naboo, Zalor figured it was possible they could've tracked them here. Although, based on the level of concern in Agent Ryder's voice, they were probably more interested in him. Either way, they were now in real danger.
It didn't surprise Zalor when both Tanara and Artoo made their way to the Agent's ship. Between the Twi'lek girl and the resourceful astromech droid, they had the ship up and running long before Agent Ryder had even finished his briefing. Zalor glanced back to see him and Sinina still talking.
Zalor resisted the urge to sit in the captain's chair - knowing full well that he wouldn't be caught dead flying the ship. Instead, he gently grabbed hold of the co-pilot's chair, in which Tanara currently sat, and leaned over to talk to her.
"Okay, so - the short version is: Sinina's 'friend' Jashin, is on Dantooine of all places. Dantooine, right now - believe it or not - is a warzone. A major battleground between the Alliance and the First Order. We have to go there, as quickly as possible, and extract him before he gets himself killed. There's also possibly Serreno hitmen after him."
Zalor tapped Tanara's chair twice with his left hand as he smiled.
"For a 'retired' Jedi Shadow, an Echani warrior and a Serreno Intelligence agent? Pretty tall order. Add an expert slicer and a highly-reliable astromech droid? Should be a piece of cake. I'd wager 200 credits we'll be back home before Raven and the others know we're gone."

"So.. Then.. what do you know of Massat?" Walking up the ramp, he breezed past Sinina, calling over his shoulder as he did so. "He works for Serenno Parliament! Not against us, and not with us. He and the rest of Parliament want to control Jashin. Well, control isn't the right word - they want him to get back in line and stop his pirating and antics. Turns out, when you have a family that is notorious for producing powerful and oft chaotic force users, adding then that they are heavily involved in politics and global affairs - well you might see why people start to freak out when a rampant youth from said family starts touting he's a pirate. This gets further compounded when said youth gets his hands on war related intel."
Sliding into the pilot's chair, Jashin cycled the engines and primed the repulsors - waiting patiently for all system checks to clear. When the all clear was given, he (surprisingly) deftly raised the ship into the air, spun it on its axis, before lifting off into orbit. "Co-pilot, Twi'lek, whatever your name is: be a dear and hit the control for the transponder masker. To all appearances, we should be "The Rusty Rake", a well to do freighter who has been schedule to pull into port here on naboo for months."

The Twi'lek girl nodded as her friend explained what was going on. She didn't reply right away as she was still more focused on familiarizing herself with the controls, remapping them as needed and also preparing the ship for launch. It had been a few years since she was co-piloting a freighter, but fortunately for her, she had developed a perfect memory since she woke up with amnesia. The memory of those days felt as real to her as the present day. It helped her quickly and efficiently figure out all her controls.
"I knew that stuff was going down on Dantooine, the holonet exploded with information about it. Willingly going into an all out battlefield hasn't been quite my speed these last five years, but this is different..."
Dantooine was her homeworld. Her mother had given birth to her and her twin brother aboard a medical frigate in orbit around the planet. She had spent a great deal of her childhood there. And now the First Order had set their sights on her home? Not if she had any say in the matter. She would take every chance she could to disrupt the First Order's position to help the Alliance drive them off-world. Of course, she wouldn't just abandon her friend and his attempted rescue mission. She would also do everything she could to assist with the rescue, since helping her friend was the primary reason she tagged along.
Then the Firrerreo took a seat in the pilot's chair and began giving out orders. She was already used to that kind of thing, so she didn't voice any complaints, simply following those orders wordlessly. Once they began their ascent, she quickly addressed the man.
"Done. We are now 'The Rusty Rake'. The name's Tanara, by the way. What's yours?"

""Done. We are now 'The Rusty Rake'. The name's Tanara, by the way. What's yours?" "Jakk Ryder. A pity you're not yellow colored. You'd be fairly attractive." With that slightly rude comment, the ship lifted up into orbit.

So now it was that the not so silver being had taken the perfect figure of one Agent Anaglesia, and now made his way inconspicuously back to the Hug and Kiss hotel. Even his clothes matched her, fabricated by his own sculpt-able flesh. He just hoped no one would take a piece of clothing off, else they would be very bothered by the puddle of gray good left in their hand. After a few minutes playing with his vocal folds, he even sounded very close to her voice also. He hadn't had enough time to really get to know her mannerisms or personality like other subjects he'd taken the identity of, but for now this would have to do.
Hopefully he would reach the hotel without any trouble...but if trouble did come- Farris was certain he could handle it.

Thea opened the oven to check the pizza. There wasn't that much time left. She smiled and turned back towards Atton. "I guess I should."She stood there in an awkward silence. All of a sudden, she was nervous for some reason. She took another swig of the ale and went back over to the oven. Opening the door, she realized that it was done and pulled it out. Thea cut it into slices and picked a piece up and bit into it. The sauce was so warm and the cheese was so gooey. It tasted like heaven. Glancing over at Atton, she motioned him towards the pizza.
*So that was pizza? Honestly, it didn't look half bad. So when Thea motioned for him to take a slice, Atton needed no second bidding. Taking a bite, he found the taste to be...actually quite nice. Hey this stuff wasn't bad at all! How had he gone so damn long before actually eating this stuff?
As he ate, he started to wonder what else to say. What else could he say? This was probably what civilians did all the time, a lifestyle Atton was wholly unaccustomed to. So what were people supposed to talk about in this situation? Huh...
By the time Atton had finished eating his first slice, almost five minutes had passed and neither of them had said another word...*

*Lavi sighs softly to herself, she was seated by herself seeing as Dom and Farris hadn't returned yet. She watched as a man walked in, he looked like he just woke up after being passed out in a gutter for a while. She slowly rose and floated almost across the room, unable to see her legs through the long feathery gown, and with how graceful she walked it made it appear like floating. She slowly lowered herself into the booth next to the man. She placed a hand on his shoulder and looks sidelong at him. Her voice softly dancing across the air between them, it sounded as soft as a a cloud.*Are you okay, Stranger...? You look like you been run over by a speeder... "Not a speeder. Trust me, though, I'll be just fine after I get a cup of caf in me."
His head came up from the table to see a fairly tall green woman with her hand on his shoulder, dressed in a gorgeous feathery gown. Her sideways look at him was questioning, yet sympathetic somehow. If she only knew that instead of taking from jar 'a' as he was GOING to originally do, he had gotten distracted and put the contents of jar 'b' in the panna cakes he had made for himself. Difference being, the two different types of 'butter' were drastically different in their effects. 'A' was the one that is the wake up kind....
Jar B though? That was the one you put on your late night panna cakes before you go to sleep. He really had to be careful with that.
Clearing his head so he could have somewhat of a coherent speech pattern, he smiled at the woman.
"I just have to be careful as to what butter I put on my breakfast in the mornings is all."

Raven sat now- having gotten herself another mug of tea, thinking deeply about what Arcturus had told her. The stoic form of Loki seemed to be pondering something of his own- but as for the Jedi Master, her eyes seemed to peer at something far away that might have never existed. The life of a Jedi was a hard one. Always there was something trying to push you off. But it wasn't a simple path- it was a treacherous one, fixated on the side of a precarious mountain side. Stray too far one way and the rock face would greet you, blocking your way- stray too far the other way and there was no stopping the descent. Always, But right now, Raven didn't feel like she was pleasurably walking along this mountain road- no- she felt like she was traveling at lightspeed, threatening to rocket out over the abyss- or be dashed to bits on the mountainside. Her mind was racing.
She wanted to sleep. She wanted to rid herself of this curse. She wanted to know what the curse was... Was it the mark? really? Or was it the burden of everyone around her assuming she was a good- just Jedi? They were all so naive... The Echani, clinging to a man who despised her under some raciest pretense- the Sith agent pretending to be someone he wasn't- The wayward Zabrak drying to gain self repentance from an incurable ill- The woman doctor and so called jedi who instantly fell for each other- the Jedi shadow pretending to have a normal existence when he was anything but normal- and the Arkanian...
Where were these thoughts even coming from. Her eyes flew wide and she flicked them around the room- as if to confirm that the ones there were the people she knew, and not the sad self satisfying people her mind suddenly painted them as. And for the first time- when she looked briefly at the few remaining people in the area- she felt nothing, at all, for any of them. The void only lasted for a brief second, but it scared her. Hastily she looked back into the mug of tea and saw her reflection rippling in the brown liquid. Only then did she notice her hands trembling. Perhaps the worried look on the bar tender's face at giving her another mug, was well warranted. She really didn't want to break a second mug. That would be very bad for her Jedi image.

*Lavi frowned, butter and pancakes? How one got so rough looking on that, she wasn't quite sure she followed, but she didn't want to push to far into the strangers business. She smiles polietly at him and sits gently into a seat next to him. As she sits, her wings lifted from her a bit, ruffled to get comfortable then settled against her again, further adding that it was not just a feathery dress she wore, but she indeed did have large green wings. She let her hand fall from his shoulder, eyeing him curiously.*
Caf... I have found that certain mixture of herbs to do a better job, and be better for you..Though some... Just like to fill themselves with the greasiest thing they can get their hands on...
*Her face wrinkled distastefully at the prospect of anything made in such a way to become a greasy mess. She ate meat, even liked it still pink and bleeding inside. But not slathered in grease. Fresh nerf steaks, cooked over an open flame. She shakes her head a moment and looked back at Adi, putting out of mind the pang of hunger that she'd just felt.*
I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I'm sorry If I've intruded.

"Its the wrong herb that got me here in the first place." He took the caf from the serving droid, put a cred chip on the tray, and munched a bit of toast. "I normally don't drink too much of the stuff myself...but in order to function, I needed it today. I usually use...erm...herbs too."
He took a slug from the steaming cup, as her wings ruffled, and smiled. He knew the tricks to waking up when he had to. Taking a quick glance around the inn, he saw Raven stewing in a mug of tea. He made a note to go talk to her as soon as he could. There was a conversation that had been interrupted by Kaja's tirade that needed to be continued. As for now, however....Adieumus realized that he was being slightly rude in not introducing himself.
"I'm forgetting my manners. I'm Adi. I appreciate you coming over to check on me. It is absolutely no bother whatsoever. It's nice to see someone concerned for another being...helps keep the little bit of faith I have in this universe alive, ya know?" He took another gulp, draining the mug. "If you are hungry, I could get you something to eat. So far, the caf seems above average. Speaks volumes for the food if the caf is good."

Night time, the time in a cycle when the more implausible become conceivable. in this case any late night prowlers became aware of surplus of energy from a darkened alley as a tear briefly opened, and then the energy and matter began to amalgamate into a tangible human being. first forming the bones and sinew, then the exterior skin, then the cloths the man wrapped around himself and finally as the energy wore off, tech and accessories that adorned his personage. when the energy had dissipated save for latent energy that would have formed into an appendix the man took stock.
“looks like the transport worked well this time. balance is steady, i don’t have a pulsation equating my heart has lodged in my right heel… overall, spot on transport. now that i have assessed my person… the question become where am i. Blaze?”
I raised my hand as the wrist comp whirred and beeped outside of nominal hearing spectrum. I could see pages of data thanks to upgraded implants, but just looking at the screen a red “X” appeared.
“Not a previously traversed universe eh? that could either mean… i am finally home… OR i am in a dimension of Miniature quadruped equestrian royalty, in which case i can run experiments to see if their so called “Magical abilities” have any quantitative value… and moreso if eating the flesh of said part transfers the powers.”
I pinched the dust on the road.
“Particles are compatible with a DP universe make-up… i guess i will have to Link in and find from communications channels which one this is.”
even with advanced intellect and a latent power some would refer to as “Technomancy” it still took me upwards of half an hour to rework the entire soft coding of much of my personal tech to be compatible with the working of the coms-station.
“ok lets see, thrawn, multiple crystal archetypes, Clones of Lord Sideous… so we are in a DP-1… now do we see… YUP! there is the Moose. this is Universe DP-1-Z… I’m … home.”
With a simple few keystrokes I attempted to connect to banking channels to gather enough credits that i could begin my life not in the comfort i had once afforded myself, but in moderate decadence. the computer’s security however, decided to refuse me access to my own accounts
“error 415, user not authorized due to potential clones? well now, this will be problematic. Blaze, we may need to switch to day cycle in order to track down this delinquent me.”
Another Red “X” from the wrist comp
“Right… no automatic control of night and day cycle. I miss that. well for the time being might need to settle in.”
I reached under my satchel and pulled out a data pad. I tried to consider who would still want to hear from a loser jedi like myself these days, and my mind could only think of one person. After that, the words began to flow faster than Squanchian Ice cream onto of a Mordorian lava fondu fountain.
“...And sincerely deebers. now to make sure no one intercepts it. A Vigenere should do. but the question is how to get the cypher to him.”
A wicked smile crept onto my lips. in some past eon the idea would be squashed down. But right now… the idea was one that while not ideal morally, killed multiple Neebray with a single kyber crystal.

My name is Lavinia Seri. I know...? Farris..
*She frowned a moment. Did she? She knew the person he showed himself to be while at the RDMC. She was usually a pretty good read on people, seeing parts of them that weren't picked up by most people. And she wasn't even a force sensitive. Just trusting. As Farris had repeatedly said... Too Trusting. She smiles at Adi warmly.*
I just like to help people, sometimes a friendly smile goes a very long way.
*As he offered about getting food, she looked towards the rest of the inn as she noticed Adi doing so. She looks at Raven, then back at Adi. She chewed at the corner of her lip briefly and then looked back at Adi again. She smiled again as warmly before.*
Well... I wouldn't want to keep you from something important..

As if on cue, the tall silver being burst through the front door and stumbled into the lobby- looking winded, even though he technically didn't need to breath air. He doubled over and then promptly found the nearest bench and sat down. Some strands of scarlet hair still hung half hazardly down the left side of his shoulder- and though he had on his normal black shirt and pants, one of his eyes was silver- and the other (green?) Or what ever the color of his previous 'model's eyes were. Narrowing his mismatched eyes, he thrust a silver finger at the silent form of Dominic with a scowl.
You-
He suddenly glanced around, realizing there were others in the room- more than he realized. the red hair faded slowly, vanishing completely and his eyes began to match their colors again as he straightened up.
Ahem....you are a terrible doctor. Anyway- the deed is done.
He sighed and leaned back in the seat. He was planning on heading directly to the villa- but plans often changed. One of his hands reached out almost blindly as he glanced toward the bar- then to anyone else in the cafeteria who might notice a strange silver man yelling at a Sith agent pretending to be a doctor.
Would someone kindly get me some water? Please? He frowned slightly. He was stretching himself very thin. Can't seem to get enough of the stuff recently...

"There is time for everything in life...you have but to slow down and take it."
The little serving droid brought out another cup of caf, and Adi looked to Lavinia. He had heard her stomach growling when they had been talking about food, and even though she looked like she was quite able to pay for things herself, her kindness would not go unnoticed. He tossed a cred chip on the tray, and told the droid to bring her whatever she wanted.
"Get whatever you'd like. I know it's only a small gesture, but it's the very least I can do to repay your kindness. Most would have just left me here with my head on the table. You are correct, though...I must speak with Master Alora. However, Farris knows where we are staying. If you want to, come out to the Villa sometime. I'm quite sure we can find our way to the bottom of a bottle of thiaar or something."
He gave her a warm smile, and made his way over to Raven's table. Her demeanor was off....she seemed very lost in thought. Adi, however, being who he was, plopped down across the table from her, a goofy, wide smile plastered across his face. Just being around her made Matango happy....a rarity these days. Happiness was difficult to come by...and he was going to try to share a little of that happiness with her....
...Maybe he could be the one to brighten her day.
"I hear long faces are falling out of fashion. Maybe we can get you to try on the latest thing here in Theed....a smile? I hear its all the rage...."
Ok, so maybe it -wasn't- funny....but it was an attempt at the very least.

I try not to get in a hurry over much.
*She smiles warmly and nods appreciatively at the man, she would be sure to use it to get something. Not that she didn't have anything in the way of funds, but it would be rude in her eyes to refuse a gift, and ruder still to not use it for the giving intended. She made a small bit of a face, and gives her head a slight shake, remembering the one time that she'd attempted the drink.*
Thanks, I will use it. I may just stay to Juri Juice..
*Her light stature was very affected by such things, and it didn't take much of it to see its affects. She had determined it was safest for her to not touch any of it again. She would stick to her plain drinks and foods that didn't alter perceptions. Not that she would ever think of holding such activities against a being.
She noticed Farris return, asking for water, she grabbed a glass, and remembering how he'd had it before which people had found odd, and handed it to him. She looked about, thinking she should go ahead and order some food, she still had said credit chip in her hand, but they all looked so busy, and she was far to nice to interrupt them.*
Well... Staying hydrated is a good start at being healthy...

Raven Alora had never looked at anyone and felt nothing. It was always happiness, irritation, fear, or even their own emotions. The odd feeling of absolute numbness was an unwelcome novelty. Thankfully it had passed, leaving unanswered questions in its wake. The contemplation left raven blirry eyed and oblivious- even as the Arkanian prince sat across from her.
She flinched at the sound of his voice directed at her, and upon blinking several times, the Jedi finally pieced together what the man was saying and what it meant. There it was- a warmth from his words, the understanding of genuine care and concern- an emotion the Jedi Empath snapped up immediately. Slowly the smile came to her face and she looked with clearing eyes at Adieumus.
I suppose I've always been a little old fashioned...
She responded, taking another drink of her tea. Closing her eyes again she took in a slow breath and shook her head to rid it of the previous thoughts.
How are you feeling? She asked. Right now, she did not want to talk about herself. Perhaps a little later, but now the matter of her mark left a bitter taste in her mouth and a numbing feeling to her mind.

Farris downed the water in a flash and his whole body seemed to ripple just slightly to anyone actually paying close attention. He closed his eyes and sat silently for a moment, delaying his planned response to Lavinia's words.
Staying hydrated- and not getting shot...are great ways of staying healthy. Don't get shot Lavi, with anything. It's no fun.
He sat up a little more and shook his head before motioning to a seat at his table.
So- have these... he wavered his hand about the room. people been nice to you in my absence?
