Doing as Ashara did, Kalene took a seat before her, crossing her legs, ready to begin the deeper lesson in the path of the Force. She watched the display as the woman brought over a small rock, letting it turn between them before setting it down. The girl's eyes stayed fixed upon for a short while until the Forcespawn started speaking again, her eyes meeting the woman's. Each word she hung on, not wanting to miss any of the details within it, seeking out those tricks, tips, and deeper meanings. Her eyes glistened, reflecting her eagerness to learn and grow, to make the most of the gifts bestowed upon her by the universe.
Being given her instruction, Kalene nodded, closing her eyes and reaching out with her feelings, seeking to remember what she had sensed early and reconnect to the Force once again. Letting her body grow still, she let go of herself, calmed the questions and excitement raging within her mind. It was far from an easy task, even after feeling it once before. Living with a certain understanding, seeing things a certain way, they started to harden in the mind as reality. So many new opportunities and abilities lay in wait, all which defied logic. Deeper and deeper she let herself slip, falling passed her doubts, her fears, her curiosity until there was nothing but the emptiness, an emptiness was simply that, clear and free of chaos, open to anything.
Minutes ticked on, her mind feeling nothing but the emptiness. She was here, but it wasn't enough. She needed to reach out and so she did. She felt as if her spirit was pulling itself away, flowing out of her to entwine itself with its surroundings. With each passing moment, nothing came. But she refused to stop. She had felt the Force before, so she could again. She had felt the plants around her, the presence of her master, all without delving into emotion and letting herself fade into the existence around her.
It was then she realized what it was, what was needed to reach out. Letting herself become part of her surroundings, letting herself fade into it, she felt herself get pulled along by an invisible energy. At first, she couldn't feel anything, merely knew she was being pulled along. But slowly, she could feel the flow, the way it moved around her, through her. How could she have never truly felt it until now? It was still weak in her mind, but she could sense it, feel it flowing through everything, in all things. She couldn't help but smile as she let herself dwell upon the feeling, taking in the life that surged through it.
She continued to let herself reach out into the flow of the Force. She could feel it, surrounding everything. But how would she use it to lift the rock? Ashara didn't explain the details how, but should she rely on the woman to explain everything? She needed to figure things out on her own sometimes. That would be what was necessary to grow. As she let herself flow into the Force, she began to feel the things it surrounded, the solid objects that blocked the current. But within living things, the current flowed through them, each person having their own current as well. Letting the thoughts formulate in her mind, she took a chance. She focused upon her own energy letting it flow out of her towards the stone. It was slow, minutes passing on. Finally, her energy reached the saber, wrapping around it as if she was gripping it in her hand. With the Force wrapped completely around it, she beckoned it to rise. So it did, the rock levitating off the ground to rise and float in the air between them.
Her eyes opened slowly so as not to break her focus. She wanted to see it for herself, to know that she really did it. And there it was, right at the height of her eyes. She gave a soft smile to Ashara though she said nothing. It was but a small item, but even so, working to control the flow of the Force, to lift such a simple thing and hold it steady was still a difficult task. A few times as she sat there, it shook or dropped a bit as the girl hardened her focus. She wanted to hold it as long as possible, adapting to the feeling and the focus required. Ashara watched her student reach out and waded into the Force. She had been vague for a good reason. The Force interacted with each person in a different way. Her eyes never left Kalene as the girl began to connect with the Force. The woman could feel the lightside surging around Kalene as she began connecting to world around her. The golden eyes now shimmering with pride, finally left Kalene as the stone between them started to move. The eyes of both women met, Ashara beamed at Kalene, she had done it. She had figured out how to tap into the Force and even performed a feat that took some many tries to accomplish.=Ashara=You are indeed very gifted! You may lower the rock when you are ready. I am sure you must be tired. We will break for the evening so that you may rest and be ready for tomorrow, when we continue your training! And continue they would...

Kalene held the stone there for a few moments more before finally setting down. Though she tried to go slow and easy, it descended faster and landed than she would have like. Letting go of the Force, she blinked and took a few heavy breaths as the mental strain of the exercise fell upon her.
Looking at the stone for a few moments, the young girl couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. Ashara may have praised her giftedness, feeling she was doing quite well for her first attempt, she thought on the difficulty of the task. If it had been that rough with just small stone, how much harder would other tasks be? The thought made it seem impossible.
Shaking her head, she pushed the thoughts from her mind. She couldn't think that way. It was just about time, patience, and practice. When the woman decided to end the training for the evening, Kalene nodded. "Of course, master. I will be ready." Standing to her feet, she took the stone in her hand, a trinket to remember her first step and all that was still to come. Giving the Forcespawn a deep bow, she bidded her good night with a large smile.
Departing the gardens, she made her way back to her room in the dorms.

As Zion moved next to him to lean forward against the railing, Matthews eyes followed, shrouded by a mess of black hair. Although it gave the illusion of the boy craning his neck to do so, for the most part he didn’t seem at all bothered by it, save for removing his hands from his pockets to support himself by propping his elbows on the railing. 'Don’t let her catch you calling her that.' Matthew half snorts, half chuckles at the warning.Oh, I’d look forward to invoking a reaction like that from her. Don’t you, Master Morviael? he teases, his smile taking on a more mischievous glint. Keeps you out of the line of fire, and I get to have the fun of seeing just how much it takes to turn an angel like that into a demon. There was an odd presence about Ashara that lurked in the back of Matthew’s mind, setting off a trigger within a sixth sense of sorts. It was familiar in a certain way, piquing the boy's curiosity. Thus, his particular choice in imagery. Alas, he had already sworn to himself before reaching orbit that he would play nice once here. With a shrug of his shoulders, the boy lets out a defeated sigh and falls serious -- or at least more serious than before. In part, it hid the sudden wash of relief in knowing that the information he received about these Karabor Knights was true enough. Then again, that was short-lived in knowing someone was going to be assigned to him. More people involved always complicated things.I have no further questions, sir, he states firmly, feigning rather believable confidence. Pushing himself forward from the rail, the boy turns on a heel to keep his eyes on Zion. I’ll just wait for your instructions with whom I’ll be squired to, to begin my training, and go from there. It sounded as though that would be a task for at the soonest tomorrow. It would offer plenty of time to arrange to get Zeo out of the ship, get settled into his room, and for some extra exploration of the grounds. As much as there was a lingering quip in his head regarding that preparatory school comment from earlier and comparing it to all this arrangement, he left well enough alone, at least for now. Matthew revealed nothing more than that familiar, perpetual grin as he waited for Zion to lead the way. Zion chuckled as Matthew spoke of eliciting a more serious reaction from Ashara by calling her Zion's woman. The boy more and more proving just how similar they were. Their minds well upon the same track of thinking when it came to the Lightspawn womanOh, I have much faster... methods of seeing what it takes to turn her into a demon... Zion produced a small datachip then, handing it toward Matthew, as he lead the way from the main atrium. Leading them further through the Temple hallways to find the dormitories where Zion could locate a room for Matthew to useThis datachip has a copy of the Temple's layout for you to use and will show you where you are at any given time. Should you leave these walls, it will cease to function... He turned a corner and they walked along a long corridor for a little while before Zion came to a stop out a door. Punching in a code, the door unlocked and opened up to reveal the single person room within. There was a bed, closet, personal refresher room, and a small space for lounging about withinThis will be your room for the next month at least... Feel free to style it as you wish, but you will be expected to care for it. I'll meet with you tomorrow morning to introduce your master... Making their approach towards the temple, the Aegis-class corvette passed directly over the city of Dearic. Even at their height the girls could make out the beauty of the city below them. Coming here already seemed a good choice. They hoped it remained that way.
Reaching the temple, the craft lowered itself and landed atbone of the landing platforms, uncertain if it would fit into the hangar bay. As the systems began to power down, the four women departed the ship and waited at the the foot of the boarding ramp. Zion had been traveling back through the Temple after settling Matthew in, when he was alerted to the arrival of several new guests. Diverting from his path, he headed back to the hangar bay. His hood pulled back as he approached the four young, beautiful women that stood at the base of the landing ramp. Giving a bow to them as he came to a stop a couple feet awayWelcome to Karabor, my Ladies... My name is Zion Morviael, Grand Master of the Karabor Knights. How might I be of assistance to you?

Several days had past, since Zion had declared the founding of the Karabor Knights. It had all felt like such a surreal experience, to be there at the founding of an Order of Force Sensitives. Even though she had grown up aware of the strange mystical energy that binded all life together, she was still early in her training. Training which she was to undertake alongside Elizabeth Lionheart under Zion's tutelage.
It was under this premise, that she traversed the Temple's corridors to one of the workshop rooms. Despite the slightly cooler climate, Ayora still dressed in a light set of grey pants and shirt, over which was a very light weight robe. Her hair was tied back into three buns, to keep it clear of her line of sight. Her staff was slung over her shoulder, within reach in case anything might come up requiring her to defend herself.
She paused then, as she came to a stop at the door to the workshop, she could hear the muffled sounds of tools in use. She took a deep breath, calming herself, before activating the control on the door and stepping inside Uhh.... Hello? Elizabeth was clad in her favourite dark grey singlet, pair of yellow overalls, and finger-less work gloves as she wielded a pneumatic drill, tightening several connecting bolts upon a thigh piece of armour. The rest of her suit was laid out across several benches in the workshop. Most of it had been forged, put together and painted thanks to the aide of Dranosh. The Knight of Karabor Master Craftsman. All that was left were a final few adjustments and then a final test fit.
As she finished tightening the bolts, she placed the drill down and turned toward the door as she heard a female voice saying hello. Her eyebrow raising in curiosity before laying eyes on the girl that had arrived to Talus with Zion Morviael. She smiled as she stood up and walked over to the door, managing to remember the girl's name to be Ayora as she extended out her handOh hi there! Sorry this place is a bit of a mess, I've been... busy as you can see... Your names Ayora Truesong right? I'm Elizabeth... Elizabeth Lionheart...

Feel free to style it as you wish, but you will be expected to care for it. I'll meet with you tomorrow morning to introduce your master... There was a mischievous glimmer in the boy’s eyes now when Zion sharing that cryptic reveal regarding knowledge of Ashara’s character. Chuckling lowly, Matthew steps away from the railing as Zion led the way. However, the boy still quips a final offer.Well, if you ever need help in that realm, sir, I hope you’ll honor me as the first person you reach out to. It was uncertain whether the boy was jesting or serious. Chances are, it was a bit of both. Either way, he winks slyly before accepting the datachip from Zion. Holding it up carefully, Matthew examines it carefully. Zion’s explanation was far from helpful in the typical sense. A security feature in place. Great. At least this Master Morviael wasn’t dim. It wasn’t as if Matthew was here on some petty mission to collect intel on the Knights of Karabor, so it didn’t exactly matter. Still, knowing that Zion kept strict security procedures in place for something as simple as a map was more than helpful.Noted… Matthew mutters with a shrug before placing the chip into his pocket for the time being. Finally being introduced to his room, the boy lets out an overexaggerated sigh of relief, complete with nearly bending over at the waist with such a huff. Picking himself up, he nods confidently towards Zion before making a round of what would be ‘his space’ for the next month ‘at least’. He’d see about that. Although nothing on his face revealed anything of those ponderings. Instead, Matthew answers with another unconcerned shrug.Looks good to me, sir. Then came the matter of the master, which he didn’t even bother trying to hide the slight wince on his features. With a defeated sigh, he continues dubiously, I’m looking forward to it. With all the first-day necessities all taken care of, Matthew headed back to the hangar the moment Zion made his leave. His first order of business was rescuing Zeo from his ship and taking him back into his dorm room. Although the boy wanted to spend more time exploring, the more pressing matter was getting somewhat settled, which meant keeping the droid quiet and content. It was time wasted, but out of necessity. However, on his way down the dormitory's corridor, a girl walking his way catches his attention immediately.Departing the gardens, she made her way back to her room in the dorms. For all the taunting of Zion’s daycare remark, Matthew could have sworn he’d be the youngest out of all those who came here. So why was a young girl like that wandering their halls? Matthew's only guess, she must've been something special to somebody. He may have had more important things to do, but if there wasn’t something Matthew could resist, it was sating his curiosity. If she was important to the Knights, then getting to know her could play in his favor all the same. A smirk playing briefly on his lips, he takes the datachip out of his pocket. Again, he acts as if examining it a bit too closely while he continues towards her, before unexpectedly slipping into her path just as she was about to pass. As he bumps forcefully into her, even he has to stumble to keep his footing, the datachip clattering to the floor as he reaches out to help keep her on her feet.Oh, the Whills be damned, I’m so sorry, miss, Matthew pleads with believable sincerity, reaching out to offer any other assistance for any of the ‘damage’ he might have caused.

What had started as quick and excited steps the moment she departed the gardens had slowed down to a casual pace. Her attention had begun to drift as she made her way to her dorm for the evening. At first, her mind was going on, eager for the next day's lesson and what would come. But as she went, the mental fatigue created from lifting the rock had begun to set in, at one point, forcing her to stop and take a breath against a wall. So, to avoid hitting the floor, she had commanded herself to calm down a little and take it easy. After all, rushing around all excited wasn't going to help the next day come any sooner, nor help her determine what the coming lessons would be.
With that, she began to think about what had just transpired, her mind shifting back to the gardens. The words that were spoken to her by Ashara, the feelings of the Force as she dove into it, the sensation of lifting the stone of the ground. It all felt surreal, but it was, in fact, reality. She had successfully taken her first steps forward. Lifting the rock in front of her, her gaze became fixed on it as she began to focus upon that feeling once more, trying to connect with the Force again. She couldn't begin to describe that sensation, but she knew she wanted to feel it again.
The problem was, it wasn't something that she needed to be doing while walking. Being already fatigued already diverted her awareness of her surroundings, but the nail in the coffin was attempting to meditate and touch into the Force while on the go, completely separating her mind from her surroundings. She had just barely begun to feel the Force again before a more immediate feeling took over. Painful and sudden, her mind shot back to reality as she began to stumble and fall over. What had she hit? If anything, she was sure she was moving in a straight line just off to the side, but it felt almost like she plowed right into a wall.
As the thoughts quickly subsided, focused on the fall, she realized she was hanging halfway between upright and on the ground. Another second or so passed before she could feel a grip on her arm, causing her to look and see the man before her. Slightly long dark hair, sharp features, pale complexion, and those blue eyes stood out to her. Mixed between the embarrassment of staring and realizing she was taken aback by how cute he looked as well as the simple reality she had;t been paying attention and bump into him, her face turned red as she fully righted herself and took a step back as his grip on her lessened.
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry! I..I was a bit focused and..I..uh..kind of forgot to pay attention to where I was going! Are..Are you ok?! I didn't hurt you, did I?!" Her words came out in a nearly high pitched stammer as her mind raced at the moment, unable to find any traction to slow it down and resume a calm composure. It was then she also saw that her rock had fallen from her hand to the ground beside his datachip, causing her to drop with a blink as she went to try and get both items for them.

The four women waited for a bit, some patient, and some growing a little irritated with the wait time of a few minutes, though outwardly showed no expression of such. Before long, however, they were greeted by an older man who identified himself as the headmaster. They all bowed in return as Kindra stepped up.
"It is a pleasure, Lord Morviael. My friends and I have come seeking to join up with the Knights of Karabor. We have all come from different backgrounds that we have grown tired of and, after spending many months just wandering the stars, wish to find a place to settle and call home. We hope that this place may be considered such." She then gave a small laugh. "Apologies. We should introduce ourselves. I am Kindra." The woman that seemed to lead the group introduced herself, her voice being calm, a bit slow, and sweet-sounding to the ears as if it was meant to intentionally draw people in. Her presence radiated with a dark aura, suggesting the background she originated from. Everything about her, from her voice, her looks, her stance, even the clothes she wore, which was a short red dress that suggested she was at a party and trying to stand out and gain all the attention.
"I'm Yuri. We are honored by your presence." A somewhat deeper voice laced with an accent, the woman appeared to be from a world of warriors based on the weapons and clothing she wore. Her presence suggested that she had nor training in the way of any particular order as it carried no alignment but was still strong, signifying that someone, most likely the other three may have aided in whatever training she had received. Despite the more intimidating height of the warrior woman compared to the others, there seemed to be a kindness in her words and smile.
"Bekka. Thank you for meeting with us." The feel of the light side within her spoke of a Jedi's training, which made this whole group more interesting considering it was lead by one who was either a Sith or dark side in some capacity. A bit more modest with her leather pants and corset than the former two, she seemed more on the timid side, at least when interacting with someone new.
"Raine." It was all she said, but the tone carried in hr higher voice played at some semblance of nobility in her past. Whereas the other three where either pure human or near-human if uncertain origins, it was clear of Raine's Echani heritage. Considering their approach to their society, it was likely she was one born of one of the high ranked families, being groomed for command. Like Yuri, she held no alignment but was still strong though it was likely she received training from both her race and the others.
As the introductions reached their end, Kindra spoke again.
"You can call us, KYBR."

After sending Kalene off to bed, or where ever she went during her down time, Ashara resumed her sitting position in the gardens. There she meditated upon the events of the past weeks, the present changes within the Order, and what was to come for this small band of grays. Reaching out she could feel the presence of four new arrivals within the Temple already. How they would shape the Order had yet to be seen and it did not seem that the Force was ready to answer that question. She could feel the garden already so much brighter and alive in the Force than it had been, Kalene's presence seemed to already be turning the grounds for the better. Soon it would be green and lush; a place of meeting, parting, joy, sorrow, love, and loss again. One did not need the gift of sight to know this, but it was reassuring to know that it was in fact to come. Her eyes opened again and gazed around the garden. She stood and made her way toward her own chambers.

"You can call us, KYBR." Zion nodded as Kindra stepped forward first, announcing her and her friends intent to join the Knights of Karabor. The day certainly seemed to be turning out rather interesting for recruitment into the Knights ranks. He listened then, as the women introduced themselves, making mental notes of who was who. Their Force presences were as unique as their names and appearances. Each one more different than the last. But together they seemed like they might make fine additions to the Order. If nothing else, Ashara's presence still lingered here and certainly had something of an intensifying affect upon his decisionIt's a pleasure to welcome you all... KYBR huh... an interesting name for an equally interesting group... Well, I think we can certainly try and make this place feel like home for the four of you. It might not be easy or simple, but should you put in the effort, we will give the same back... Does that seem fair to the four of you?

Yuri laughed while Bekka laughed a little as Zion made mention of their group name. Kindra provided a small smile and shurg.
"I suppose it is a rather odd thing for a small, random group of women to carry a group name like some traveling girl group. But we are a team and we figured having one would be better in identifying us as a whole rather than always addressing us individually each time. And it so happened that the first letter of our names worked to spell kyber, much like the crystals.
As Kindra went on explaining the reasoning behind their name, Raine rolled her eyes as she leaned to her right as her hand rested on her hip, left hand raising up to Kindra.
"Seriously, Kindra? You really enjoy explaining that to anyone who asks, don't you? He certainly doesn't look like an idiot who is unable to piece together such details like that." Kindra looked back at the Echani, the small smile remaining as she sighed and shook her head before continuing on.
"Anyway, I'm sure we will enjoy our time here and we hope that we are able to find the purpose we seek here. And you can count on us to put out the effort. Wasting time isn;t something we appreciate."

Her glance that held on to him for just a split second too long, her face turning red in embarrassment, her stammering apology. Checkmate.
Before Matthew could respond, the girl had already dropped to find their items, both of which clattered to the ground. However, he quickly crouches down and wraps an arm around her to guide her back to her feet. He then reaches out with his free hand and calls out to both items, wrapping them in the Force and floating them into the air. The boy beckons for the rock to hover into Kalene’s reach, his datachip gently pressing into the palm of his hand.
An angel like you could never hurt me, Matthew says with a lighthearted, easygoing chuckle. Lowering his arm from around the girl’s shoulders, he continues, The apologies are all mine. I should have been paying closer attention to where I was going. I was a bit, he pauses, pushing away the dark locks out his eyes as he thinks, impatient to see the rest of the Temple. I’ve only just arrived earlier today.
Lacing his embarrassed expression with sheepish youth, he seemed to drink in Kalene’s aura, mimicking it with his own patterns and behaviorisms. Lifting up the datachip, which held the map of the Temple, between his fingers to reveal it to the girl, he then shoves it back into his pocket quickly. It would come in handy later, but for now, he had a more intriguing task at hand than making a round of the Temple.
Glancing over at the girl and offering her a disarming smile, Matthew introduces himself, Matthew Di’Nova, before taking a step back, placing his hand over his heart, and bowing low at the waist. I hope I didn’t harm you, either, in my carelessness.

It was a refreshing change of pace to have such light hearted moments. The boy beckons for the rock to hover into Kalene’s reach, his datachip gently pressing into the palm of his hand.An angel like you could never hurt me, Matthew says with a lighthearted, easygoing chuckle. It would come in handy later, but for now, he had a more intriguing task at hand than making a round of the Temple.Glancing over at the girl and offering her a disarming smile, Matthew introduces himself, Matthew Di’Nova, before taking a step back, placing his hand over his heart, and bowing low at the waist. I hope I didn’t harm you, either, in my carelessness. In the few seconds she had bent down to gather up the items that had been dropped, she felt him crouch down next to her. Already could she feel the heat of his face next to hers, but the sudden addition of his arm wrapping around her, beckoning her to her feet was enough to make her freeze. She was at a loss and could only follow the movements he put her through. Her gaze remained fixed towards the ground and her face began to turn shades of red.
When the rock was returned to her, via the Force, she took it timidly. But that small movement was all she could manage as he spoke. Why did he have to speak? And such words as those? Her face continued to burn hot in her embarrassment as she forced her gaze upwards to look at him. Trying to push forward, focusing on his other words, she worked to get out a reply and not seem like an awkward freak, though that was the best she could manage. "I..I see. So you're..um..new as well. I've..well..I've only been here..um..a few days myself." She gave a faint, shy laugh. "It's a nice place here. Well, I think so, that is. Um, I..I hope you think so as well." She stood there for a moment staring at him before realizing he gave his name, but she had yet to do so. "OH, right! I..um..I am, well, I mean my name is Kalene Varik. It's..It's a pleasure to meet you. Matthew."

Zion could not help by smile and chuckle as Kindra and Raine seemed to bicker a little. It was a refreshing change of pace to have such light hearted moments. It reminded him of the way his sisters had acted toward one another all those years agoWell, you're all certainly as unique as kyber crystals are, so it is quite fitting for sure... But I digress... All four girls stopped and looked at Zion at the mention of lessons. For a moment or two, there was silence as their gazes shifted among themselves before returning to the man. If there was anything to be guess about the girls thus far was that Yuri and Bekka would have remained quiet and Kindra and Raine would have said something. And so it was as Raine put a hand on her waist, lifting another hand in a questioning manner.
"And what exactly do you mean by lessons? No offense, but we aren't children who need to be taught how to utilize our powers or how to fight. We came to join the Knights of Karabor and offer up our strengths to the order, not to find teachers or anything."

Watching her embarrassment flood her complexion with a myriad of red-hues, Matthew found that the more he talked, the hotter her face grew. Now, this was new to the boy. Typically, he had to fight to keep women this close. Most, like Ashara, looked down at him like a child or played the ‘hard to get’ attitude. Not unusual, especially where he came from. Kalene, though, seemed to become a jumbled mess, his spell working on her with little to no effort. It was adorable to listen to her stumble and try to keep a train of thought. She was like a picture-perfect epitome of purity. The pleasure is all mine. Matthew stands tall from his bow and reaches out for hers in greeting. Instead of a simple handshake, however, should she accept, she would soon find his lips against the back of her hand in a rather overdramatic display of a gentleman’s greeting.Kalene, he repeats slowly as though savoring the simple beauty of the name. He looks up at her, bright blue eyes shrouded behind a mess of dark hair. A beautiful name for a beautiful lady. Matthew stands to his full height and pushes his hair out of his eyes. Although his smile loses some of its brilliance as he glances up and down the corridor, there was a half-grin that remained ever-present upon his lips.A nice place? I’m sure I’ll believe the same thing once I settle in a bit more, he agrees, offering her a knowing wink. If you had a spare moment this evening, would you mind showing me some of your favorite places? I want to familiarize myself with the Temple a bit more before my work begins. Unless you have other things that need tending to…? I wouldn’t want to take up your time tonight, Miss Varik. I know I’ve already disrupted your evening with our quite literal run-in. He turns his words formed out of assumptions into questions. She may claim to have only been here a few days, but there was that chance that she knew of a few places. And if she would honor him with her company as he explored the Temple a bit more in-depth, the more the merrier. There was also an air of mystery behind the girl that he had yet to discover. Who was she squired to? What was she offering to the Temple that made her special? Either she was incredibly gifted in some fashion or another, or Zion had a soft spot for women. Even only meeting Zion once, Matthew knew already that both were honestly in the running as the correct answer, if they both weren’t.No matter Kalene’s answer, it was a win-win scenario, should she join him or not. Although, like earlier, he played his heart on his sleeve, seeing if this time, he could have a beautiful, yet innocent presence accompany him this time.

He had expected some kind of reaction from the four women at the mention of lessons, and so was not caught off guard when they did react. He remained with a smile, even as the question was posed and the comments were made. Better to get this piece of information out of the way ahead of time, then have to tackle it later onAnd I have no doubt you are capable warriors, something I intend to test and find out for myself so I can ensure your strengths are best put to use for the benefit of yourselves and the Order. But we are not a club you just put your name to, get handed a saber and go off and whack away at people with it... We are an Order of Knights, a family. We rely on each other for strength and wisdom. Above all else, we live by a code... No, I do not believe you are children that need to be taught how to fight. But by joining the Knights, you become sisters not only to one another, but to everyone that calls this Temple home. You take up sword and shield to maintain balance and fight against those that would cause imbalance... He paused a moment to let them take in the information. The smile still there, while his tone remaining friendly through out the entire explanation

Her body began to freeze more as the hues of her face brightened when he kissed her hand. Then came to compliment of her name. Never before had she experienced such a flirtatious attitude, especially when it came to her. And with the rapid-fire assault against her, she was defenseless in holding up any kind of resistance.
She was barely able to hold herself together well enough to make out the last thing he said. But with the way he spoke her last name and hoping for a spare moment with her to see all the temple, including her favorite locations, she was done. Darkness fell across her vision as her mind was overloaded by the man before her. She was only able to keep standing for a few moments longer before she fainted, falling forward into his arms.

The smile still there, while his tone remaining friendly throughout the entire explanation After his explanation, the girls looked to one another once more as if they were speaking among themselves, a fact that was very much true. The look from Raine was still obvious in her dislike for the idea.
I know it's irritating, Raine. But we did come here, so it's only right they test us to see what we are capable of and for them to teach us what it means to be one of them. We can't expect to just come here and do things our own way. If that was the case, then we should have just stayed out wandering the galaxy or set up our own home somewhere
Kindra and Yuri gave a nod, agreeing with Bekka while Raine simply sighed in defeat. She might not have liked it, but Bekka had a point. She would just have to suck it up and just go with it.
"Alright, we will finish unpacking and meet you there.

Trying to keep herself polite and opening to members, Kalene reached out her hand, albeit, a bit hesitantly. However, what she expected to be a simple handshake was something entirely different.
Kalene’s answer would have been a win-win scenario for the young Matthew. However, the reality was something he was far from expecting. He watched curiously as Kalene started to wobble, her legs visibly weakening under her. It was then that his smile was wiped from his face. Without a moment to spare, he lunges forward and wraps an arm around her waist as she began to fall.Kriff… he whispers. The very first and only thing Matthew could immediately think to do was look down the corridor to make sure that no one had seen Kalene suddenly pass out. Then came that sudden realization that any new person to come down the hall could very quickly assume the worst possible explanation. There was a fainted girl in his arms right now, and he was still too new to the Temple to have an honest reputation at the very least.Kriff kriff kriff… That was the only articulate words that Matthew could string together at this present point in time. He had always had problems with the ladies, but he had the experience to deal with it in just about any situation, other than this. This was a first. Without a moment to spare, he slides his free arm under her legs, and in a single motion, Matthew draws her closer to his chest as he spins around to head back down the other direction. There was only one problem.Kriff... Which room is hers…? Matthew blinks, realizing that he had no place to bring her. Medbay? Kriff… Where was the medbay? Damn it. He should have been paying more attention when Master Morviael gave him that tour. Even without a course of action or a clear-cut destination, he continues to carve his way down the corridor anyway. It isn’t until he passes by his room that that option strikes him. It has a very high potential to be damning, but he thinks, not nearly as much as getting caught with her passed out in his arms.Kriff…! He has one option, and one option only. Matthew expels a breath as he fumbles to open the door, but as quickly as he could, he gets her inside and shuts the door behind him. Upon Matthew’s entrance, Zeo immediately boots up with an intrigued whirl… which then shifts to a panicked series of beeps as the mech registers Matthew laying Kalene down in the bed.Shut it, Zeo. I know… I know… After ensuring that Kalene would wake comfortably, he turns and kneels to face his R2 unit. Laying a hand on its domed head, Matthew continues, Look, just take care of her, alright? I can’t be here until she’s awake and out of here. I can’t get kicked out after day one. Not after everything we went through just to get here to begin with. There’s too much at stake...! Look... just keep an eye on her for me until she wakes up, alright? I’ll be back in a few hours. Despite Zeo’s protesting warbling and whirls, Matthew rushes out the door without another word to the mech. Matthew would continue his exploration of the Temple in the meantime, although his mind muddled the whole time. With a disappointing final hum, Zeo turns his sensors to examine the girl now lying in the bed. All vitals registered as normal. She was healthy. Just overwhelmed and shaken. With little else that he could do with Matthew gone in such a hurry, Zeo shifts into sleep mode as he waits for the girl to stir… as instructed.

Since dismissing Kalene for the evening, Ashara had been meditating and peering into the Force, sensing many things. But soon a feeling of unease roused her from her trance. Something had happened, something that was causing more than one being in the temple a great amount of stress. Standing, the hoofed woman stood and began to follow the trail laid out by the Force. She was swift, as the more she dwelt upon the feeling, one of those in distress was her padawan. Her hooves struck the stone and sent echos down the hallways, but as she approached the location of the disturbance she had felt, she slowed down, not wishing to perhaps cause further panic or harm by her sudden presence. At the corner of the hall, she stopped and looked down it as subtly as she could. It was empty? But she was sure, this was the part of the Temple that had produced the disturbance. She turned to leave and investigate another hall, but heard a door hiss open. Turning back, Matthew was making his way out of his room. Perhaps he knew something. He did seem distracted.
=Ashara= Mr. Di’Nova! A word if you would please. The Forcespawn called after him from her end of the hallway, now in full view. Have you seen my padawan? A young human woman, a little younger than you.
