Johun sat quietly and listened to Von's answer. Once Von had finished, he looked toward Kulaan, awaiting her response.

Kulaan listened to Von go over the Jedi code. She blinked and turned a bit in his direction slightly surprised he even knew it. From this and other things she figured he might be a quick study. That could be interesting. Her ears perked and she turned back to Johun when he said he had a question for the both of them. She took a minute to mull things over, but Von started speaking. She figured she would at least listen to what he said, although not trained to be a jedi, he might not necessarily have a bad idea.
Not much help there. He came up with his method and it didn't seem all that impressive to her, but as she considered how she would respond, she became more and more impressed at just how quickly Von had managed to come up with something. There seemed to be a complete lack of options and after sitting there for a minute or two she shook her head. With no good options to work with the best option I see would be to try to pick out the leaders of the mob and try to calm them down. It could slow down the setup for the execution but must be done carefully or the village is placed in danger. If with the leaders of the mob are calmed down it may be possible to calm the rest of the mob, but given the situation as presented, it might not be possible to do in a short amount of time. If on the unlikely chance that it works both the village and the man could be saved. She shrugged, thinking that maybe she could have figured something else if she had taken longer, but she didn’t really feel like spending too much time on this question.

Johun listened to Kulaan's answer.
I purposefully asked a difficult question with no clear cut answer, because that is what we as Jedi must do, make these decisions. One must be at Peace with their decisions.
Johun let that sink in for a moment.
Now, lets try something different.
Reaching out with the Force, Johun grabbed a fist sized rock from the base of a nearby tree. He levitated it in front of his face.
I am going to let go of this rock. Kulaan, use the Force to keep it up. You ready?
Johun would release the rock as soon as Kulaan acknowledged her readiness.

Kulaan nodded slightly, she hadn't been quite completely settled with her answer and hadn't really been in any situations that might have needed her to make a similar decision. she mulled it over for a moment until Johun suggested something different. He pulled over a rock and asked her to keep it in the air using the force, she smiled and closed her eyes taking a relaxing breath, allowing her to clear he mind for his task. With her eyes still closed she nodded slightly.
I'm ready.
She would allow the rock to drop slightly first before supporting it to show the transfer. The rock stopped quickly then rose back to the level it was before. She brought it to about the same level Johun had it a little to the side of her face before opening her eyes to look at Johun. Having done so she maintained the hold waiting further instruction.

Johun nodded as she accomplished the task.
Now, Von, you do the same with two stones of your choice. Kulaan, pick up another stone.

Kulaan nodded silently and began searching around mentally for another stone. The already floating stone kept its level but began shifting in location as she mentally looked around. She had in mind what she was looking for figuring that likely no matter what rock she chose Von would have some form of comment on it. Locating what she was looking for she lifted a second stone that was just slightly smaller than the first, and brought it to the same level as the other one. As she raised the second one the first would drop slightly as she tried to keep her focus balanced. It only lowered an inch or two but then returned to its initial height with the second smaller stone at the same height and similar distance from her head on the opposite side. With this done she waited for Von along with Johun.

Z'har stepped into the garden, wiping the oil & grease from his hands as he settled onto a bench looking at a fountain. He had just finished patching up the damaged medical droid. True it would always need a little more attention during maintenance cycles, but that was usually the case with repaired droids. Glancing up at the sky, Z'har realized that it was actually starting to late in the day. It was not often that he lost track of time anymore. A few more hour until the local sun would set. This over course caused him to wonder where Jade had vanished to. Spotting a passing knight, he decided to inquire.
-Z'har Excuse me, would you have happened to see Master Jade recently?

"Seen Councilor Jade?" The Knight frowned in thought, "Not recently, though I think she is frequently around here."
A recognizably short figure appeared near a large planet covered with spines and approached them.
"Ah! There," the Knight waved a hand in her direction and then continued about his business.
Contrary to usual custom, Jade was not wearing her voluminous outer robe. It left her much more freedom of movement, but its layer of enveloping secrecy was gone. Few people had ever asked her why she carried two lightsabers, though it wasn't something she hid, and she didn't fight with two. Jar'Kai was not her specialty. The slim woman smiled as she walked up to Z'har, running a hand over her black tabards to ensure they hung straight. It was a gesture, nothing more, as her outfit would probably have caught on fire if it was put on incorrectly. Sometimes new padawans had troubles with adjusting their Jedi outfits properly. Instead of being in traditional shades of brown and khaki however, Jade's were green and black.
"I see you are still around," she addressed him, green eyes scrutinizing his appearance closely, "what have you been up to?" she asked, taking his wrist in her hand and looking at what seemed to be machine oil stains on his fingers.

Picking up a pea-sized rock from behind Kulaan, Johun accelerated it at her head. If it connected it wouldn't cause any damage, but certain cause some shock. Johun wanted to see if Kulaan could deflect the incoming stone, while not faltering on her levitating stones.

Z'har shrugs somewhat noncommittally. Compared to the multitude of strange things he had seen in his life, the morning's incident in the med-center didn't even come close to ranking in the top hundred.
-Z'har I found something that needed fixing & ended up helping out. You seem to have lost your cloak.

"Not lost," she replied somewhat ruefully, "just left behind." The voluminous shroud provided by the ubiquitous Jedi cloak had been a welcome shield from the eyes of those she did not wish to explain things to. It gave one a level of mystery. It had been the part of Jedi attire that she had most easily adopted into her style of dress, though, she did enjoy going without it from time to time. This way her appearance was much more clean-cut, streamlined if you will, and it pleased that part of her that still valued militaristic precision in dress.
"So, what have you been up to?" she asked, slipping her hand into his as the two of them moved further away from where Johun and Kulaan were in a training session.

Z'har certainly didn't object to the change in view.
-Z'har I met a few interesting faces, but other than that I have not done much with the day.
Z'har pauses for a moment to reflect.
-Z'har You know? I think that is the first time in a very long time that has happened. I suppose that is kind of the point of a vacation is it not?

"I see," Jade smiled and finally shrugged. "I suppose so, although in your case specifically, it makes me worry. I can't shake the feeling that you are up to something, and I don't know what it is. Yet." She added the last with a direct gaze that probably wouldn't actually shake him. He knew her too well by now.
"Anyway, I believe you were looking for me?"

Johun nodded as she accomplished the task. Now, Von, you do the same with two stones of your choice. Kulaan, pick up another stone. Hearing that it was now his turn Von focused on a nearby rock and slowly lifted it with the force with ease, he focused on the angles and gave it a nice little spin. The rock spun faster and faster in the place that it was being held. It would soon be no longer able to be grasped from the air do to its velocity speed. With one hand he held it on the rock and with another hand he introduced another smaller rock into play and had it rotate the planet like rock. Removing his hands he focused alone with his mind on the two rocks and imitated a solar system. So what else do you have for me to do Master

The pointed look at the end didn't bother Z'har in the least, after all, he was more or less up to something. Then again, he usually was.-Z'har Well, I haven't been completely inactive. I suppose it would be more accurate to describe me as rather less active than I normally am. Anyway, it is the end of the day & I was wondering if you felt like doing anything tonight.

Concentrating on her stones for the main part she was able to see Von start the task given to him as well. The stones she had by her ears pivoted around her head giving a slight indication as to where what she was paying attention to. Her tail even poked up slightly from where it had been curled on the ground. She watched Von pick up his three stones and spin them... but wait... no he only had two stones and that third one was heading for the back of her head! The closer of the stones she had was moved to intersect the thirds path but it was her tail that got there first, swatting the pea sized stone like a fly incidentally deflecting it at Von's ear. She kept hold of the two stones she had realizing that it was likely Johun testing her concentration. A test she inadvertently passed onto Von.

"I would enjoy spending time with you, naturally," she replied with a fond smile, "did you have anything in mind?" A distraction from the tangled mess that was Jedi/Republic relations would be exceedingly welcome. The Jedi Master was growing more and more dubious about the state of galactic affairs, especially now when the Empire was on the rise.

Z'har ponders for a moment. They could spend the night on the town again. It would be two nights in a row, but doubtless the city had plenty of things to draw those on vacation. They could also spend the evening simply talking in the gardens, the coming night would be warm. Both of them still had much to share of their person lives, as most of their previous encounters had ended unfortunately quickly, with either one or the other drawn to some pressing issue or other.
-Z'har It is going to be a warm night, care to spend it here in my company & help to pass some of the hours?

Ael nodded in the affirmative, gratified that his desires seemed to mirror her own at this point. Although, the meditation gardens weren't exactly what she had in mind. She gently squeezed his hand for a moment, while leaning closer to suggest, "what about the nearby environs of the Academy? We could camp out in the forest."
She hadn't shown him the waterfalls yet, and Corellia did have some amazing geography. She liked being out of doors. True, there was some danger from night-time predators, but with her vornskr around happily hunting in the woods and with Z'har's own advantages the likelihood of them being eaten was not very high. She knew when she was being hunted, and she would not be easy prey.

-Z'har Certainly, I assume that you have somewhere in mind since you suggested it.
Taking a half step away & to the side of where they hand been walking arm in arm, Z'har bowed & swept his arm like some ancient royal servant. A thin humourous smile playing across his lips.
-Z'har Lead the way, my Lady.
