Adrien smiled as Jace dropped the bag then poured them a drink and placed the bottle back into the bag. Adriana, bag. His tone was even as he gave Adriana the order to either bring him the bag or look through it herself, however she interpreted the short worded order. He looked into the drink, but saw nothing that was an apparent drug or toxin, so he drank and paused but a moment waiting for a reaction before setting the glass down once more and sitting back and crossing his ankle over his knee. You must accept my apology for not taking you at your word, trust is something I don't give freely. You understand. He paused briefly before continuing on. Now your proposal.
Sitting and listening to the job offer. He couldn't help but to feel a slight shiver at the request, Corulag, not only was it a port known throughout the galaxy as a dangerous destination for even the most seasoned criminals, it was a long standing Organization run planet and Adrien had been avoided them for years, to the best of his knowledge they still believed that he was dead. What in the world could this guy want there? Could Jace be picking up some sort of bounty on Adrien's head under the guise of a legitimate job offer. Smart move if so, one that Adrien could applaud. It was also something that intrigued him enough to want to explore the true intentions of this man.
Curamelle? He smiled and scoffed. Dangerous place. I'd say worth some extra hazard pay. He always liked this part of the negotiations, the haggling, not only because it got him more money, but it let him gauge the importance of the job to the employer, it made them sweat. If they were overly eager to offer more credits then he knew it was probably something very valuable either to them personally or their wallets, which granted him a fair amount of room to raise the price and exploit that since they were lowballing him in the first place. If they stuck to their guns on their original price then it let him know that it was probably a routine grab and go and neither the personal or monetary value of the item was worth more than what they were offering. But in any case the haggling always gave him a good read on what he was about to get himself and his crew into.

Ultra heavily modified Wayfarer-class transport, Midnight Shadow – Common Area (Aggressive Negotiations)
I think he didn’t notice, phew! Adriana thought to herself as she scampered after her captain, tripping only three times on the way back into the ship. The third fall she didn’t have to fumble around for her spectacles because she had the sense to just take it off until she is inside the ship, where she’s on more familiar ground, so to speak. She tripped so much more than usual because she was so lost in thought about her own behavior around the captain. She smiled nervously at Frankie and Nika, and then scurried into the ship as fast has her clumsy long legs could manage. She overcompensated when she tripped over the foot guard at the top of the ramp, and planted her face into the wall quite loudly. Sighing, the girl composed herself as best as she could and caught up with the rest of the crew in the Common Area, where Adrien and Jace were negotiating in a more comfortable place.
She blinked dumbly when Adrien called her name and then simply said “bag.”, most likely still dazed from impacting her head into a wall.
Oh, he wants me to...do what exactly??? She wondered. Well, it belongs to that guy, so I suppose I should just check the bag first, in case it’s got something dangerous that could blow up or...something. Having come to a conclusion on a plan of action, the girl stepped forward and with gentle care, goes through the stuff in the bag. It seemed like all that was there was what the man said was in there, and unless there were hidden sections in the bag that she can’t immediately see with the naked eye, there was no visible threat besides that blaster rifle, but it didn’t look as worrisome as the rifle she’s carrying, not that there’s any indication that she even knows how to fire the blessed thing (she still hadn’t figured out how to remove the safety on her weapon). Then again, Adriana was not the most skilled smuggler alive, or the most street smart, and she had no idea what kind of tricks this Jace Stealer might have, and if he’s that tricky, then his bag could be trapped or otherwise, but Adriana didn’t see any problems and would state as much.
She turned to Adrien to speak, but pauses as she thought of something, Whoa, hold your horses, Adriana! No need to advertise your complete incompetence to both captain and potential passenger by telling him what you don’t know how to do!
She blinked, and then looked back and forth between the captain and Jace, making herself more nervous. “N-nothing, captain.” she blurts out, “J-just exactly what...uhm...he said was in there.”
She gently and timidly tugged at the bag with her thumb and index finger, pulling the bag to within grabbing distance of Adrien, and she looked apologetically at Jace, mouthing the word “Sorry” at him while her head was turned away from Adrien’s sight. She did this because Adrien might want to see for himself after her subpar inspection. Besides, her main motive for looking first was to ensure that the captain was not going to be endangered by putting his hand into the bag. Since she didn’t experience any sharp pain or suffer any immediate symptoms, maybe it’s not booby trapped. Once done, she retreated back to her original location and stood by, in case Adrien wanted her to do anything else.

Bounce, bounce, zzp! And Anitha is airborne, following after the rest of the crew, when she jerks and stiffens in the air, with only her four diaphanous wings beating a thousand times in a second, and she whips about. She sniffs at the air inquisitively, her antennae lashing about frantically as she picks up on a sensation like she was being watched. Or rather, like someone from the crew was being watched, though who would be watching them? Hmm, predator, probably. Anitha deduces that it will be soon that they must depart. Attention has most likely been attracted. After deciding that she can glean no more from the air and the Force, the half-bug girl flies back into the ship, grinning away at Nika and Frankie before she enters, narrowly avoids crashing into Adriana, who’d tripped again, for like the fourth time now.
Using her ability to stick to walls, the bug girl skitters into the Common Area and sits on the wall, her feet sticking flat out on the wall and allowing her to balance her very light weight on her haunches. She props her elbows on her knees and rests her chin on her palms, her antennae aiming forward at Jace once more, but with a friendly grin on her face. She doesn’t look the least bit threatening, and she radiates with friendliness. But she is ever watchful for a change of demeanor in the air, and her buggy sense would forewarn her of extreme danger, hopefully. For now though, she simply reflects a more positive or obvious variation to Adrien Draykon, whom she can sense is approaching his conversation with Jace in a discreet probing manner. He isn’t just going in blindly into anything.

Jace casually glanced over at Adriana as she rummaged through his bag. She wouldn't find anything out of the ordinary, or at least anything severe enough that would cause alarm other than the items he mentioned. His armor (minus the helmet) sat to one side, neatly stacked and ready for another gritty firefight. Beside it was an A280 Blaster Rifle with an under-slung grenade launcher. With it were eight modified C-22 Fragmentation Grenades for the launcher on a single-clip grenade sling. Several power cells for A280 rested among several pistol magazines holding metal-alloy projectiles. A wiped datapad rested on a few changes of clothing, all of them fairly simple. Emergency rations for up to a week were packed to one side of the bag. A small leather container rested next to the datapad, holding two throwing knives and a combat knife. The rest was just bits of survival and specialist equipment: An A99 Aquata Breather, a very compact de-salinator, a small field medical kit and a pair of electrobinoculars. As Adriana pulled the bag towards Adrien, he noticed her turn and mouth the words 'Sorry'. At that moment, Adrien glanced down into his glass and took a sip. He would not have to worry about it being poisoned. Not only did Jace want to have him around, as someone who he could call for help (for a price, of course), but he would never poison a batch of Whyren's Reserve. Every Corellian and sentient that knows a Corellian would understand the value of this particular drink. As Adrien took the sip, Jace seized the moment of distraction to throw her a reassuring wink before focusing in on the captain as he crossed his legs and explained his reason for the search. "No need to apologize, captain. I would have done the same." Things were moving along smoothly to say the least. Adrien had gotten straight into negotiations, which meant he was either ready to get along with the job or that he was eager to start haggling. Either way, he had to proceed tactfully and thoughtfully. Hazard pay had already been brought up, and Adrien didn't even know what the current situation on the planet was. Not to mention that there was a fly on the wall, watching him quite intently. While she seemed friendly and harmless with that disarming smile, he hadn't encountered this particular species before. He had no idea what sort of thought process she had, or what she was capable of. Which meant he was weary of using the Force to influence these negotiations, as she might be able to pick up on it. While she was only one variable, she was an unknown one. He'd have to continue to hide his Force sensitivity until he learned more.Jace leaned back comfortably in his seat, eying Adrien. He took another sip of his drink and placed it back on the table with a smirk. "Hazard pay you say? Extra at that... You know something I don't? I figured a Core route world such as Corulag would be an easy pass for someone of your talents." He was just playing him now, goading him into revealing his knowledge and possible sources on the planet.

Wayfarer-class medium transport, the Midnight Shadow - Common Area
The tiny, wiry framed, pale skinned Nagai, dressed in a black Neo-leather jacket worn over a baggy, olive colored and grease stained pair of coveralls and a black tee, leaning against a wall in the common area doesn't look, at first glance, particularly threatening despite the DC-15s tucked into the left side of her belt, angled for an easy draw, at least unless or until one notes her posture is nowhere near as relaxed as it seems at first and observes her dark black eyes and detects the intently watchful expression, devoid of any discernible sentiment. The posture and expression are quite different than her customary loose and cheerfully animated demeanor, testifying, to those who know her, that the facet of her trifurcated personality known most often as Forseti is currently at the forefront of her divided consciousness.
The diminutive Nagai only half listens to the ongoing conversation between Draykon and 'Shep', paying more attention to the tones and body language of the participants than the spoken words; Draykon's role, after all, is to negotiate, and the Nagai's task is to watch his back and do as instructed when the time comes, and so for now she simply watches carefully and waits for orders.

as the YT-2550 comes to a halt on its assigned pad the ramp opens and Aruda strides down then at the bottom looks back up at her brother and she says "you know this ship does not have a name why dont you think one up brother?"
*Ginrei put his hand on his chin as he thought for a moment* How about we name this ship the...erm.... *He scratched his head* The...you know... erm....

Jace leaned back comfortably in his seat, eying Adrien. Adrien leaned back with a cocky grin across his face. Now what could I possibly know that you don't? He played the question off to be sure not to reveal any inside knowledge that would tell anyone here what he knew about the planet, Everyone knows Corulag isn't your typical blue milk run, the planet itself is every bit as lawless at Tatooine or Nar Shaddaa and once you get to the space around the system you're twice as likely to have seccers poking around waiting on a big bust. He shrugged smugly. Of course your run of the mill lawman is easy to get by but those birdwatchers over at ISB a bit trickier and I imagine what you want us moving isn't exactly something the Imps will want in someone elses hands considering the price you're paying right now. That coupled with the fact that we don't know where we're headed once we leave planetside leaves us sitting mynocks. I don't know about you, but in my experience an Imperial interrogation ain't exactly relaxing on the beach. He leaned forward, So yeah, I want hazard pay. He sat back again making sure to keep eye contact with Jace. There were ulterior motives for the hazard pay of course, which ethically Adrien wouldn't bring into the negotiations, there were children on board. His own son, Eli, and Rachael and Ethan's newborn daughter, Neah. It made more mouths to feed for one, he needed repairs to the ship, and fuel to fly. And it always helped to give the crew a paycheck for a job well done.

The Kaldani Spires Residential Apartments are run down and boarded up, a black hole in an old but thriving section of the city. Breaking in isn't difficult, and I feel the dark side presence immediately once inside. There's no power, so the lift isn't working. I'm forced to climb the shaft to reach the penthouse. I know immediately that I'm in the right place; even after all these years, the dark side power is strong here.
The rooms have been picked clean by scavengers, and I quickly begin to doubt that I'll find anything worthwhile here. Oh well, it was a fool's errand anyway. As I'm leaving, I bang my knee on a desk in the dimness. The desk shifts a few centimeters, and I catch sight of something on the floor beneath it. I bend down to pick it up: a memory stick. Its casing is broken, but the relevant part is still intact. Anybody who knows what they're doing should be able to get the data off it. I put it in my pocket and return to the spaceport. Perhaps somebody back at the Academy will know what to do with this.

A small pulse of light can be seen in the sky as something enters the upper atmosphere of the planet. As it comes closer, a ship can be seen streaking towards the surface at a reckless speed. As it hurdles closer to the metropolis below, the nose of the craft rises ever so slightly. With just the slightest adjustment, the ship begins to come into plain view, it's dull gray hull mingling with the other colorful craft headed towards the streets. It's engines can be heard, felt even by the pedestrians below as it speeds towards an obelisk shaped building covered in landing platforms. Arcing rather gracefully for a ship its size it begins to descend vertically after a swooping maneuver over one of the many pads. Its landing gear touches down and nearly immediately the engines begin their cool-down cycle. Creaks and groans can be heard emanating from the ship's hull as it cools, the atmospheric entry had heated them substantially. Inside, its crew prepares to disembark.
As the ship continues to cool, a human male can be seen through the glass of the cockpit. He removes his headset as he fiddles with several switches and panels. Beside him, still strapped into her seat can be seen a light blue skinned Twi'lek female. They appear to be talking as they move about the cockpit, toggling controls about the cabin. It appears as though they have completed their shutdown cycle and with a flick of a switch the glass of the canopy melds into a thick blackened color, blocking all view of the cockpit's interior.
----------------------------------------------
The hiss of a door opening can be heard as Davin moves from the cockpit into the central ring of his "Vigilant", the YT-2400 he'd owned for three years now. A robotic female voice can be heard as he looks up from his datapad.
:: Greetings Captain. The landing seemed quite smooth this time. Much better than your landing on Dantooine Sir. ::
Frowning slightly, he looks condescendingly at "Eve" a 2-1B model medical droid as he points his finger.
" I thought we weren't going to talk about that Eve, I could always keep reminding you of the time you got your medications mixed up and ended up giving me a.. stimulant..."
A playful smile lit up Davin's face as he finished speaking, Eve's silence evidencing her concession.
"Oh cut it out you two, plenty of time for flirting later, now Dav, we best get a move on. The quicker we can get this done, the faster we can get out of here. I don't particularly enjoy the big city..."
Beyond that, Arrya, Davin's First Mate didn't have much to say. The light blue skinned Twi'lek had been against accepting this contract but Davin had insisted. She had many reservations but had finally been persuaded when Davin said she could even have 60% of the profit to spend however she wanted to. She had been looking at buying a few modifications for the engines, as well as some personal items to freshen up her rather bland personal cabin. It had been three years since they bought her, the "Vigilant", but she never had been able to quite make it as personal as she'd liked. Granted, the ship itself wasn't exactly designed for personal accents either. In the last three years together, Davin and herself had made quite a name for themselves in several of the outskirt spaceports, and this was their first big venture towards the core worlds. They had landed the contract from a shady fellow on Tatooine, Mos Eisley. They'd taken smaller contracts all over the planet, but this was a "Big one", or so the man known only as "Karadon" claimed. They were told not to look at the cargo they were taking aboard, and that if they got caught.. well.. it would be better not to get caught. That was the main concern she'd had personally. Arrya never liked not knowing what exactly it was that they were transporting for exactly what payout. Enough worrying though, it was too late to go back on it, the cargo was already aboard, and the transmission letting their client know they were ready to meet had been made. Time to be a big girl and go play in the dirt.
Davin reached out to the compartment in front of him, strapping on a holdout blaster on the inside of his leather boots. Reaching out once more, he pulled on a large coat, some lightweight panels had been sewn into the fabric to provide a little protection from light blasters, but wouldn't do much to stop a direct shot. As he closed and secured the compartment he looked over at his First Mate, Arrya, disappearing into his mind for a moment as he typed in a few commands on the data panel on the wall.
*It's been a hard three years.. but this.. this will be good for both of us.*
Davin and Arrya had met rather by accident as it was. Davin had been running a shipment of highly illegal weapons for a warlord on Tatooine but had managed to be targeted by one of the Corellian customs ships. The transport he had been flying at the time was severely limited in maneuverability and it wasn't long before his ship wouldn't take much more of a beating. Just when it seemed he was doomed to be disabled and boarded, a rogue ship had dropped out of hyperspace directly behind the Corellian frigate causing them to quickly come about to face the new threat. It gave him just enough time to plot a course and jump to hyperspace. Unfortunately the frigate had hit a few very important relays and it wasn't long before his ship fell out of hyperspace, completely dead in the water. After several tense hours of waiting and many attempts to repair his damaged engines the same ship that had appeared before dropped in on him. After a few back and forth transmissions, the stunning and mysterious "Arrya'volan" transferred the cargo to her ship and helped Davin complete his drop. After that encounter, the two had worked in tandem, quite well too. They shared their knowledge of various trade regulations and laws as well as good places to hide from would be enforcers of the law. He had appreciated every moment of their time together, and he held her close to him.. maybe a little closer than he wanted to admit. Either way, he kept it platonic, and the two had done fairly well together but this run was going to land them a big score. Not only would it get their name out there, but it would pay very well.. well enough to continue repairs and modifications on his baby, the "Vigilant".
"Stay here and watch the ship Eve, we'll be back in no time. Keep her locked up tight!"
Davin nodded towards the droid as he headed over towards the ship's cargo ramp.As the two finished gathering the gear they needed Davin depressed a button on the wall. A loud hydraulic hissing could be heard as well as a slight grating of metal against metal. The large cargo ramp descended to the deck of the landing platform, clanking heavily as it came to rest. The two looked at each other, smiled, and began the short walk to the turbolift that would take them to the undercity.. where their contact had promised to meet them. The duo tread lightly and kept their hands within close proximity to the grips of their blasters. They didn't want to be unprepared.

Not too far from the infirmary but far enough not be in district of Galactic City, Anshara crouched on a ledge. High above the ground level the wind blew strong and her hair as well as her cloak flagged in the Wind. She bent her head back and enjoying the strong wind and the life that she felt up here. The buzzing life of the Jedi a mere memory her mind cleared up and she started to feel well and focused again. She looked down at the city in front of her looking more like a predator, maybe a hawk that was ready to swoop down and kill it's prey. Now that she was more in her element not feeling caged she had something attractive on her. Like an animal once in a zoo now was running free in the wildlife. At least she thought that she was more attractive now after all she felt free and more confident. With a laugh she turned her head to Terra, her hair blowing in front of her face. "Get up and out here, the view is fantastic!" Anshara had to shout to make herself heard due to the wind blowing.

Terra followed Anshara, drawing her cloak around her more tightly as the wind whipped it about. She had never really been this high up before, and it was a little unnerving to her. Anshara did seem much more confident though, with none of the earlier fear and
Trying her best not to look down, Terra followed Anshara up even higher and stood next to her, gazing out over the cityscape."This is a nice view..."Though she was now standing right next to Anshara, she still had to raise her voice quite a bit."I've never been so high up before!"

The teenager raised to her feet. Not crouching the wind made it harder to stand there but she shifted her stance, made sure that she wouldn't lose her balance. After adjusting she leaned forward and looked down. Speeders filled the air beneath the two women and lost themselves in the canyons of the city. Falling down would mean inevitable death. Few beings were able to survive falling down on one of the speeders down there and even a Force user would have to be quite practiced to perform such a stunt. Height, speed, targeting the right vehicle. Anshara's eyes glowed in excitement as she followed the patterns in the Force. Her muscles got ready for a leap down on the next car, to land and immediately jump over to the next ledge two blocks further. The young woman looked over to Terra shouting again:
"My father was a Jedi you know? A long time ago! He had been trained by a master going by the name of Yolem but if this Jedi is still alive he must be over 800 years old! Terra, I know you have a few questions and I want you to ask them for I'll need you to trust me! But first I have a question myself... How long have I been in the tank?"

Terra was amazed that Anshara was able to jump down like that, an impressive stunt to be sure, but not one that Terra wanted try to duplicate herself. It was only now that she was seeing how dizzyingly high up that these buildings truly were. She froze for a moment as it dawned on her how high up she was. But it was only for a moment. Seeing where Anshara was, Terra dropped down one story, and with the aid of the Force, was able to jump along the ledges of the buildings until she had caught up.
She realized that Anshara was unaware of how long she had been in the tank, and it had been a few days. Terra wasn't sure how the teenager would react to this, but she needed to hear it."You were in there for a few days! It took awhile for your injuries to heal!"

The teenager looked back to the place from where she started and chewed on her lower lip again. She hadn't intended to leap. Not at that point but her instinct must had driven her. She tilted her head to the side and thought about it. Analyzed the way that Terra took and the information she had received. All while she sat down and massaged her left leg. A few days... enough to weaken her. She knew exactly how to move to get from one point to another like that but she had been too slow. Only a little bit but enough to feel a little pull in her leg. She pouted.
"A few days? A week at least meaning I am 16 now or maybe 17! I was quite slow! In case someone would have fired at me, I'm not sure I could have dodged it! Terra, you're not used to move like that, are you?"

Terra wasn't surprised to hear Anshara complaining about being a little out of shape, a side effect of an extended stay in a bacta tank. It might take a day or two for her to get her legs back under her, so to speak. As for her confusion regarding her age, that could probably be easily figured out when they got back to the Temple, if she wanted.
She smiled reassuringly."You should be back to normal in a few days! Sometimes it takes a little bit to recover after being in a tank for that long!"Still having to shout to make herself heard, she continued."I've never jumped around a building like this before! You do this all the time?"

She moved a bit, shook her muscles out and started stretching. She had to get a feeling for her body again and make sure she was able to keep pace in a few hours. She made her exercises and moved around Terra as she started with shadow boxing using a combination of punches and kicks acting out lock'n'holds as well as dodging maneuvers. She moved at a normal speed not overdoing it for now.
"I'll need to be in shape for the mission later on, else I'll be a liabilty!" She smiled at the question, pausing her exercise for a moment to direct the gaze of her green eyes directly to Terra. "Yes and no! It's basic cardio training I had to learn so I could keep going for hours as well as being able to chase people efficiently!"
During all the time she had been out she had regained her ability to focus and so she did. Mainly on Terra as she wasn't sure why her father had chosen the padawan to reveal himself to. Anshara like her father wasn't able to tap into empathy or telepathy but she was great in searching Force sensitives and getting a feel for their auras. Anomalies and the like. She found something, something that caused her to speak her mind. Maybe a bit too forward but after all she was still young and patience wasn't one of her strengths: "You're still not asking the questions that are important to you! I can read it in your face! My father taught me that giving the answer isn't as important as the question asked! What is it you want? Who are you? Simple questions but to know what you want you have to know who you are! And to know who you are means you have to know what it is you want! I might not have the answers you are looking for but I can sense the touch of darkness in your aura! I have been trained to sense those things! By now you have no reson to confide in me that's true so it's important you ask me things that are important to you! I'm probably younger than you are but when we go down in that lab we might see things! Dark things! Dad has revealed himself to you which means you are important somehow which means I at least have to try to help you!"

Terra sighed softly, still not sure what to make of all of this. For her entire time with the Jedi, she had always been aware that she had a dark side. It was something that she never really discussed, not even with Serrin or Jade. But it was always there, visible to those who took a close look, at her aura. And lately she had been having dreams, likely related to something in her past that she didn't remember yet. Anshara had sensed the faint presence of the dark side on her and so had her father. As to why he had chosen to reveal himself to her, Terra could only guess at why, as she just didn't have enough information to go on. Anshara was saying that he must have thought that Terra was important if he had chosen to reveal himself at all.
She sighed."Anshara, there's still so much I don't understand here. I don't remember almost half of my life and I can't explain why those memories are gone! I know there's something dark buried in my past but I've never been able to remember anything more than a few flashes! If there is something in that lab that has something to do with me I...I want to know! She looked out over the city again."But at the same time I...I'm scared of what I'll find..."
For so long Terra had been afraid to really search for answers about herself and the parts of her life that were missing. Part of her would be just fine with the darkness of her past staying buried beneath her strange memory loss and for her to continue training as a Jedi. But at the same time, she was tired of not knowing, tired of literally being in the dark about nearly half of her life. Even if her past was filled with darkness, she needed to find out what it was, and finally be free from the uncertainty.
She turned back to Anshara."Do you think your father knew something about me?"

Anshara looked at the young woman with a compassionate expression. She couldn't imagine what it was like for her to have no access to memories of her past. Neither did she have an idea how much the Jedi training influenced her but she was pretty sure that Terra would need any help she could get. She sat down and remembered the briefing on the Sith that had died in the warehouse. Gently tilting her head, the blonde hair falling to one side she looked up to Terra asking her to sit down as well.
"Father has often told me that it is important to know who you have been so you can understand who you are now. At the same time your past doesn't affect who you are as our allegiance is a matter of decision. I have been trained to rely on myself and have been taught that a deed even if it costs lives is not necessarily a path to the dark side. Being cautious is one thing but being scared of what you might find out is dangerous. I won't lie to you, it could be that there is nothing down there. Well at least nothing that's directly connected with you." She paused and skimmed through her mind. "The Sith Serrak has never been a Lord but has been dangerous and interesting for my father for quite a while. Nearly two decades ago and a few years after my birth he worked for a circle of Sith deliverin goods to them. Drugs created via the use of Sith Alchemy but also people. Children of noble born most often bastards that could later on be introduced as heirs and the like but also slaves. It seems like the wanted to build a base of power with their own noble houses and assassins. One of their assassin cults was the 'Bloodrain of Bogan's Lust'. A quite stupid name in my opinion but fitting. They would kill with as much blood as possible and enjoy the anger and fear during their horrific killings. My father shut the cult down but he never got to the inner circle. A few of them died but others got away. Can't remember the names... A Con'rus, a Lareth and some Rat-dude I think. Sorry but the informations I have I have read in a hurry."
She looked in Terra's eyes and smiled a bit: "I don't know. He knows so much but has told me so little. He..." She hesitated finding it hard to speak out loudly what was meant to be a secret but she felt like she owed it Terra: "Dad once was a Jedi. Not just any Jedi but a Jedi Shadow. He had infiltrated Sith cults, trained Sith assassins and turned against Sith to bring them down. Sometimes he also saved children and tried to find ways for them to start a new life some even becoming Jedi. The Order thought that he was in too deep and wanted to put him down but... Terra, my mum was a Force user, the personal valet and apprentice of a Lady of the Sith. When..." Her voice broke and tears got in her eyes. She tried to avoid the memory most of the time as it was still too lively.
She had been four or maybe five years old. Two Jedi Shadow and a Jedi Watchman got into the room purging any signs of the dark side. Her father whom she had met only a week before for the first time tried to stop them. Tried to convince them that her mum and she herself could be saved. They didn't listen. Her mum was killed when she tried to protect Anshara. She herself was taken by the Watchman while the three Shadows fought in an artistic but deadly dance. Her father was disciplined, a pool of serenity in the eye of the storm he had unleashed on the attackers and while he fought he shouted her name. Then there was the lightsaber of the Watchman and Anshara wanted to get to the only safety she knew, her father. The death of the Jedi at her hands had been an accident but the death of her mother and her first kill were a traumatic memory burned into her mind.
Anshara stood up, turned around and ran away. She didn't want to be seen like that. She didn't want to be emotional and she didn't know why she was like that. Well that wasn't true, she had an idea. For her dad and her uncle this was a painful memory so they never talked about it. She herself tried to stay strong but there was something about Terra that made her want to open up. Maybe it was also the time in the bacta-tank that had made her soft. A few corners and ledges later she sat there leaning against the wall. The arms wrapped around her to get rid of the inner cold while her face was wet of tears. She didn't want to kill, she didn't want to see Terra in possible danger nor wanted she to be herself right now. For as long as she lived with that specific memory she had sworn to herself to never let any innocent die or get endangered but to do so she had to kill and endanger people every once in a while. She loathed it, hated herself for all that but it was the first time that someone got into danger she liked without being her father or uncle. Not that she never worried about them but she knew that the two of them were capable of taking care of themselves. Terra instead was different. Though it was obvious to Anshara that Terra was the older one she felt responsible for her. Terra was one of the lost souls her father would have tried to safe and now his own daughter got that soul into danger.

Terra smiled a little as Anshara passed along a little of her father's wisdom, and she did appreciate her trying to help. She got the feeling that she would need all the help she could get with the mission ahead and the danger that likely awaited them. She listened as Anshara told her more about the alchemy lab and the names of those involved with it. She didn't know any of the names that were being listed but she made mental notes of each one in case they ended up being important. She wondered if this cult that Anshara's father had investigated had anything to do with the alchemy lab right now. If there were survivors, maybe they had started a lab here, or had rejoined their masters. Terra could only guess as Anshara was giving her a lot of information quickly and it was all she could do to keep up.
Then Anshara was telling her a little about her family, her father in particular. A Jedi Shadow, an infiltration specialist who took down Sith cults from the inside. It sounded dangerous but it would explain why she had only sensed him when he had voluntarily revealed himself. She frowned a little when Anshara told her that the Order had thought her father had been in too deep as simply attempting to kill one of their own didn't seem very...Jedi-like. She didn't get much more as Anshara suddenly burst into tears, and Terra didn't need the Force to understand that the memory of what happened must have been traumatic.
She had barely moved to comfort Anshara when the girl simply bot up and bolted away."W-wait! Anshara!"Without hesitating, Terra got up to give chase but Anshara was much more adept at traveling through the cityscape than Terra was and it took several minutes for her to catch up. But she eventually did catch up and found Anshara sitting there, arms wrapped around herself. Terra approached slowly, trying to project an aura of calmness. "Hey...look you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to."She smiled reassuringly."It's all right, really. Everything else you've told me is a big help, and I appreciate that. I'm glad you're here to help me with this, Anshara."
