Frankie was the first to emerge from the ship, her Bryar pistol worn on her back and DL-44 blaster holstered on her right leg. She had what looked to be a metal cup of caff in one hand and was fumbling for something in her pocket as she approached Adrien.
Mornin Cap. Jeez, is this planet ever NOT going to have that gritty smell to it? She pulls an elastic band out of her pocket and pulls her hair back into a ponytail. So what's on the agenda for today, boss?

That was what he liked about Frankie, despite everything that had happened she hadn't changed a bit and as far as he could tell she didn't hold any resentment toward him, not like the others, not like Nika. It was refreshing to him to have her around and comforting to know that she had his six. Connie was really the only other person on the crew right now that seemed more or less unchanged by everything that had happened. But that was the past and Adrien knew he needed to move forward, no matter how short ago it was. His exterior reflected where he wanted to be, but his internal conflict was greater than ever, grief over the loss of most of the crew, his brother, and the knowledge that it was all his fault was a heavy weight to bear, but all things considered he carried it well. That smell is leftovers, something had a snack and didn't have time to finish it. He walked closely behind Frankie as she descended down the ramp. We're just picking up some cargo. The client says pick up, drop off, no questions asked. The tone in his voice was one that blatantly said he didn't trust whoever they were working for, but that wasn't unusual for him. It's difficult to trust anyone in this business outside of your crew, your family, and Adrien was particularly good at mistrusting most people these days considering his checkered past. Plus he had to keep Tobias around somehow, and Tobias was always the skeptical one.
The crew always seemed optimistic that Tobias and the others were coming back, but Adrien had kept what he had seen away from the crew, the hope was good for them and his own hope was that it would fade away as time went on and that his own pain would subside with that time, though he wasn't sure if it ever would.
With a step from the ramp Adrien looked around. This place was vacant, quiet. The buildings around them had been abandoned for years it seemed and it smelled rotten. With the area becoming overgrown it was likely there were creatures that had moved in, and that brought predators, sentient and non-sentient alike, he knew something had been hunting from the spell alone. Fan out, stay in line of sight. He didn't like this, it seemed like a setup. Secure the area and wait for the package.

Indeed, there had been something hunting as of recently. Scattered through the outskirts of the block were the carcasses of several dead predators. Other predators and scavengers had left the area in which Adrien and his crew had landed to investigate and feast on these carcasses, tearing at the flesh and leaving only the skulls which had a single bullet hole in them left for the maggots. The general area had been relatively clear of ferocious beasts, leaving the last few to scatter into the shadows as the ship landed to secure the empty courtyard.
A single glowing light could be seen from the pitch-black alleyway at the opposite end of the small courtyard. It dimmed after every few seconds only to come back to life once the acrid smoke drifted out of sight. Once the crew secured the area, the light went out. A single cigar rolled out of the alleyway, only the smoking stub remaining. Uncloaking his presence through the Force, a figure stepped out of the shadows and into the dim light of the street lamp. Clad in all black; combat boots, light-weight pants, wind-breaker, fingerless gloves, and a thigh-holster with a sleek Verpine pistol. Short, messy brown hair with an eye color to match, they held within them the pains of his past. Clean shaven, a faint scar could be seen running along his left jawbone.
Jace looked to each of the crew-members, seeing which ones he remembered from their past encounter and which ones were new-blood. His eyes stopped on Adrien, his mind running through the brief encounter they had. A light, possibly dangerous smile came to his lips. "You're not an easy man to track, Draykon."

Adrien being Adrien immediately got the urge to reach for his weapon but refrained at the sound of the all too familiar voice because chances were that if he was speaking to them then chances are who ever was with him already had the drop on them and the last encounter with this particular individual was in a shaky situation, in fact the set up was similar but the scenery had drastically changed from a cantina on an asteroid, to an overgrown part of a planet-wide city. Adrien smiled inwardly though despite the current situation, perhaps Fel had found out about his little shower with Freckles and this was the reckoning coming, or maybe it was the complete opposite and Fel needed help. In either case the outcome might be fun, and in the very least keep his mind off everything that had happened between Nar Shaddaa and now.Adrien raised his hand to halt Frankie, Connie, and Nika from taking aim at the man, mainly Nika because she knew that he was from Fel's crew and she was there when the last meeting between these crews went south. Once he knew that their arms were down he lowered his hand and smirked, his eyes never leaving Jace as he crossed his arms. Well that's the point itn't it Shep? His peripherals surveyed the area as he looked on at Jace. And with a blink he switched modes to view the heat signatures around them then blinked again to change back to normal mode. A nifty little gift from his friends at RDMC. With a look down he kicked at some weeds. Fel send you? He asked curiously then looked up at him waiting for an answer. It was a prodding question of course, and he was sure that Jace would see that. He also assumed that this meeting was a ploy and given the secluded location maybe a trap of some sort. What he didn't know was why, and more specifically why now? He and Fel had left on good terms, not the same could be said for the rest of his crew, during his time aboard the UA he had made two enemies that probably held on to their grudges, Adrien certainly hadn't forgotten about his. The goodie goody boy scout and Jedi had one coming, but to them so did Adrien, they were wrong of course but so were critics of Nerf-throwing, but that didn't stop them from condemning participants. But even if this was a trap Adrien couldn't help but to be mildly excited for it, if only to see Karana again since she seemed to be one of the few people in the galaxy who understood him, even Nika hadn't got that part down yet but again, few have, the other two so far were Connie and his brother. It was both a point of pride and a burden at times.

*Dusk stood in the Engine Room of the Shadow. Putting his wrench back on his belt, he smiles at his work. Captain Draykon had kept her in good shape. However he wasn't a professional mechanic. With a little fine tuning he was able to increase the power out put by 3.2%. Having met the captain on Nar Shaddaa were he was offered a job. Not having worked for several months Dusk jumped at the chance. Since boarding the ship he had spent almost his entire time in the engine room. Knowing the ship had landed for a job he figured most of the crew was off the ship. Not really being a people person since his... "Accident" he decided to head up to the common area to get something to eat. Taking off his jacket Dusk's cybernetic arm is revealed. Having lost his real arm in his "Accident" he prefered to keep it cover to try to avoid more discrimination for being a cyborg. After grabbing some food he sits down to eat.*

His eyes flicked from Draykon to the one other crew-member he knew among this posse. Nika Rodan. She had accidentally probed his mind back on the Smuggler's Run due to her unperceived powers of the Force. They had a very interesting discussion about the topic, with her and Regina constantly going back and forth while still trying to interact with him. Needless to say, they all walked away frustrated and wanting more. But while it was somewhat sour, they didn't leave on a necessarily bad note. Nika made it clear that if their paths crossed again, she might still be up to discovering her true potentials with the Force. And well, here they were.
Jace's eyes focused back on Adrien, his light smile forming back to an even line. He skipped on commenting about the resources it required to find this crew, as it had no relevance at this point. Instead he took a few slow steps towards Adrien, closing the distance so that he needn't use a louder tone. He stopped within talking distance, keeping his hands by his side and an even tone. He knew he was trying to goad him into spilling details about Fel's crew, but he was content on giving him the basics. "No. This has nothing to do with Fel or the crew." He gestured to the rest of Ade's crew and the ship behind him. "This is between you, your crew, your ship, and myself." He let his hand fall back to his side, and with it a slight lopsided grin. "And I've got a job for ya."
In the back of his mind, he wondered how Ade would react to a change in what the client had told him. Having smuggled for Fel, Jace figured that the fellow law-skirter wouldn't be surprised. Nobody told you the full truth when it came to this line of work, and it wasn't going to change anytime soon. The only way to truly know the dirty details was to sit back and enjoy the ride.

It was something he knew he should have expected, this is exactly the reason he had issues with taking mystery client jobs. There's always intrigue, build up, suspense, and then either a double-cross or a let down, time would tell what this really was. Another mystery job from a, in Adrien's estimation, mysterious employer. Sure he knew who the man was on the outside, one of Fel's crew, a celebrity look-a-like, and decent enough guy but there was just something that didn't add up about him. Like how did he find them? How did he evade the initial, albeit quick, sweep of the territory? And Adrien was sure that foul stench was dead animals, predators and prey alike, how did one man take them all down alone? And how does an crew member of a fellow lowly smuggler have a job to give? And why give it to a rival smuggler instead of his own captain?
There was more to this guy that meets the eye, though he was pretty sure that no one else noticed these things because if nothing else Jace was good at hiding his secrets. Had Adrien not been in his former profession he probably wouldn't have picked up on these little details either. Sure they could all be explained away by some rational explanation or another, but in Adrien's experience too many rational explanations for one situation made it smell funny.
And of course it didn't escape the smuggler's attention that his rival's crewmen was avoiding details concerning his own crew, to the point where he tried to eliminate them from the conversation entirely. With a cocky smirk and arched brow Adrien brought his arms up and folded them across his chest before pivoting his body to look at Frankie and point a thumb over his shoulder at Jace. D'ya hear that? He's got a job for us. He chucked as he returned his arm to his chest and slyly and fluidly tucked his hand between his body and elbow on the inside of his jacket where he kept a small array of throwing knives. It of course was a precautionary measure, he knew there had to be more here than this one man and of course he still didn't know if this was some sort of setup or not. So you're telling me you've got a job for me and not for Fel? He chuckled again and started to pace away from Frankie to give her a clearer shot should things get ugly. Trouble in paradise? Family problems? Things a little dysfunctional over at the Fel homestead? Adrien enjoyed being cocky and poking fun, of course despite his tone he truly wanted to know the answers to his questions. It was just his way of prying.

Jace simply grinned at Ade's antics as his actions and words continued to fulfill the profile that he had compiled since the last time they met. Cocky. Confident. Able to get a good read on another based on their choice of words. He had to be half-way decent with the crew, unless he was just throwing out the snide remark for show. He had to admit, it was difficult for him to form a conclusion on the relationship he had with his crew members. While he showed some of them interest, he was still willing to leave others behind on backworlds like Varonat. He'd have to do a little digging to figure out what his 'allies' thought of him.
His grin lingered a little longer as he let Ade ask the questions. The key was to throw him off just a little bit at a time, to throw in something here and there that would get the captain thinking. And nothing accomplished the task better than a minutely altered truth. His smile faded for the most part, and his tone came on as humorous, but in the way that it would mock Adrien's attitude. "Oh, nothing that you should worry yourself about. Your best pal Wade got torn to bits not too long ago. Fel was only captured and killed, and the rest of the crew got scattered when a fleet dropped in on us and starting smoking everything in sight." Jace chuckled and shook his head, looking down at the ground briefly as if in thought. "Quite a mess if I do say so myself." He looked back up to Ade, noticing that he was shifting his position in a peculiar fashion. "How are things in your neck of the woods these days? Leave anybody behind as of late?"
He was wondering how long this game would play out before they got the answers they were both looking for. Eventually it would come time to discuss the terms of their temporary employment, but he wasn't terribly worried about it. Jace was content with analyzing Adrien while he put the truth, punctuated with a small twist, on the table. While it was true that Wade was dead and Fel had been captured, he had heard nothing yet as to his fate. He reasoned that if they were going to kill him, they wouldn't have bothered with the hassle of pulling him out of the Smuggler's Run, of all places. As for the rest of the crew, his contacts told him they were safe and sound with their assignments. No reason this bunch should know that though.

Ultra-heavily modified Wayfarer-class transport, Midnight Shadow - Boarding Ramp ("F" my life)
SPLAT!
Nobody look! Adriana thought, It’s just me, making a wonderful spectacle of myself again. And on Coruscant no less. Once more, the former supermodel had succeeded in tripping over the last step of the boarding ramp (the crew got something against baby-proofing?) and landed – as usual – face first in the ground. And not a clean ground at that. She knows, she’s got it all over her face now; good-bye make-up. Reluctantly picking herself off the ground, she searched quickly for her spectacles and put it back on after a quick wipe with the hem of her shirt. Once her vision had cleared, her halo flared brightly as she quickly sought out Adrien. She smiled when she spotted him, but quickly smothered it when she realized that Nika would be around, and began fidgeting with the sniper rifle which had nearly fallen over her head when she tripped.
Over the last few months, Adriana had made some measure of recovery from her bout of illness, and started eating normally again, eventually getting almost all the way back to her original weight and build. She was still more fragile and slender than prior, but it’s no longer as bad as it was when Adrien had been ill and blind himself. Now, she carefully made her way towards the smuggler captain. She recognized the person they were speaking to. He looked familiar at least, but then again, this was a big galaxy, so it could just be a lookalike. She herself had at least seven dopplegangers around the galaxy. Rumors of the celebrity appearing in certain places that Adriana knows she’d never been to cropped up from time to time, proving to her she had a few perfect lookalikes, at least. She was just in time to close the distance between herself, the captain, Frankie, and the mystery person, to hear Adrien making a jab of some sort at the other man, in an attempt to goad him.
"Uh oh..." This can’t be good. Adriana thought. It wasn’t what Adrien said, it was what the other man said in response that made the girl speak up in her damaged, softened voice. She wasn’t around for some things, but Adriana had the disturbing feeling that the man had just ignited a volcano. That volcano being Adrien Draykon. Now the question was what type of angry were they going to get. The kind that draws blasters and everything in his arsenal, or the quiet, scary anger? The kind that could change the fate of the galaxy forevermore. Swallowing hard, Adriana stood frozen about five feet from Adrien’s right after hearing the other man’s reply.

Aboard the Midnight Shadow, Common Area
"Jonn" looked up from his tinkering as Dusk entered and prepared himself a meal. He sat in a corner, with the parts of his datapad stripped and arranged neatly atop a piece of cloth. He puffed on the cigarette hanging loose on his lips. He didn't really smoke. But "Jonn" did. And appearances were important. He shifted the mini-screwdriver to his left hand and took the cigarette from his mouth, tapping the ashes on the ashtray beside him before placing it back between his lips. He wasn't much for interaction. Worked with groups even less. He needed a quick way off planet back in Nar Shaddaa and Draykon's ride was it. When he was offered a job he took it without even finding out the details. Suspicious, but no one was asking him any questions. At least not yet. He hadn't interacted with much of the crew since joining up. He sensed that was about to change soon. Jonn snapped the last part of his datapad into place and slid it inside the breast pocket of his vest. He wrapped up the rest of the tools in the cloth and put 'em away inside another pocket on his vest. Picking up the ashtray he got up and off the table and sauntered over to where Dusk was having his meal. Jonn sat opposite of him.
Jonn Sylas.
He introduced himself as he took the last drag from his cig and tossed the butt in the tray. Jonn pulled out another one and proceeded to light it.

"One-two-three..."*ZZT!*"...four-five-six..."*ZAP!*"...Oh! We’ve landed! I smell Coruscant! Lessee..."
Anitha the Bug had been counting the used computer chips in a bowl for the fifteen-thousandth time before getting distracted again. This time by a delayed reaction to that fact that the Midnight Shadow had landed quite a while back, and Anitha was hanging around in the Cargo Hold area trying to count her favourite food. Obviously, she won’t be doing anymore counting for a while, but she takes a bowl full of the chips before fluttering her four large diaphanous wings and taking off through the corridors at blinding speed, navigating with ease despite how fast she is flying. In seconds, she is outside of the ship, flying high overhead, and then quickly dropping down to ground level again and zipping up to the gathering crew members, standing before a human man. Well, he smells human! But she’s been wrong before.
Tuning her antennae towards the man, the half-insect half-human girl tries to get a “read” on him. He’s probably Force-Sensitive (but then...these days, who isn’t?!?) and appears to be a very versatile type. Well, he’s interesting! Oh look a bug! Not me! Another bug! She thinks while looking at him, then jerking her head a little to look at a bug, then jerking her head again to look at the bowl of used computer chips, mixed in a salsa dip, taking a spoonful of it and crunching it in her nearly metallic teeth. She noisily crunches on the chips, then jerks her head to look back at the man talking to Adrien Draykon, smiling at him cheerily.
For anybody wondering what Anitha the Bug looks like: For the most part, Anitha looked completely like a human, with dark brown skin, long wavy black hair, large almond-shaped eyes, a small, slightly upturned nose, and thick, full lips. The only signs of inhumanity would be the pair of long antennae that stuck out from on top of her head, and the four large foldable diaphanous wings on her back. The rest of her curiosities are obvious only in her personality and habits, like her tendency to make clicking sounds between her teeth, as if sensing things out. Oh, and natural chitinous exoskeletal armor (that conveniently looks like a bikini or some such), or something akin to that fashion. being rather small built, standing at little over four feet tall, she didn’t appear the least bit intimidating.
While waiting, she took to shifting her balance on either feet at rapid speed, her head turning to look at anything and everything around her in strange jerking motions, but her antennae were fixated in the man (Jace Stealer’s) direction.

Frankie's fingers dangled slightly above her blaster pistol ready to draw at a moments notice. She smiled and nodded slightly to Adrien as he moved to allow her a wider theater should things get ugly in a hurry. Frankie sipped her caff and chuckled as Adrien pivoted mockingly remarking about this fellow having a job for the Draykon crew. Her eyes shifted discreetly to Connie and Nika in an attempt to gauge their reactions. Frankie was always up for a challenge and or a gunfight and in her opinion they could all use the money if the price was right. There was no doubt about that. There was something she didn't trust about this man however. She couldn't put her finger on it but felt it in her gut none the less. "Was this the package they were supposed to pick up?" she wondered to herself. She leaned on one leg casually, ready to rain down blaster fire if she had to. After listening to the two men speak and making a mental map of the immediate area, she turned towards Adrien and let a small burp escape without bothering to stifle it. It was too early for manners. If they appeared at all it wouldn't be until after her third cup of caff. Frankie had a bad feeling about this whole situation. That was nothing new. She always had a bad feeling about everything. She'd been called paranoid on more than one occasion. She preferred to think of it as a heightened sense of awareness. To Frankie it was better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have one. Something told her it was going to be a long day.

Fel's dead!? Well that's a shocker, and while Adrien would mourn yet another loss on his own later, now wasn't the time, everyone knew that death was a hazard of the business and Fel had had a good run, respectable by any measure. Adrien noted the sarcasm and realized that he might have touched a nerve so he was prepared to move on at that point, but then Jace made a comment that didn't sit well with Adrien. Not. One. Bit.His head snapped toward the man, his eyes slightly widened then narrowed again as his fingers gripped one of his throwing knives and he thought about dropping his other hand to his blaster. He figured Jace might be able to dodge his knife if he was quick, but Adrien had planned to draw and put one through the glabella and spray the ground being him in red. Left anyone behind lately? Who the hell does he think he is?
It wasn't until Adrianna tripped, stumbled, and fell into the situation that Adrien came to his senses and released the tight grip on his knife, shook his head slightly with a blink, and returned to his usual self. That was a close one. As angry as the comment made him, Adrien realized that it was probably a comment on past transgressions and not in reference to what happened on Nar Shaddaa, besides now was the time to conduct business and keep that side forefront during this conversation, but that comment wasn't about to go unanswered.
Adrien looks down at hearing the news, and then back to the crew to gauge their reactions before turning back to Jace. So Ol' Scarface made his final jump huh? Less competition I suppose, not that there was much to begin with. And Wade? Who was Wade again? He knew exactly who Wade was. Wade? Wade? Wade? He tapped his chin with his index finger as he "thought" about who Wade was, before opening again in an excited "I got it" tone. Oh yeah, the boyscout! Yeah I kinda remember him. Got what he deserved if you ask me.
He wanted to expand further on how the rest of the crew was doing, being scattered and all. He wanted to know if he'd had any contact with Karana but now wasn't the time to ask since Nika was standing right there but knowing that she was out there possibly alone was something that Adrien didn't like. She was too bull headed to lay low for a while and was more than likely looking for some trouble, not that she couldn't handle most of what was thrown at her, but everyone can be bested.
Adrien looked at Jace's body language to gauge his reaction to what was said and what he was about to say. So from good news to business? What work have you got for the galaxy's best? And hurry, I hear the gap just widened between first and second. He had a cocky smile as he gloated.
The oddest thing was happening though, he didn't feel like he usually does during his gloating. He only felt hollow, his words were empty, but he of course he kept his front up and standing strong. There had been losses on both sides, significant losses, and perhaps the loss of his bother was taking it's toll.

Jace watched Ade carefully as the captain's eyes narrowed on him, his body language tensing up. With his cocky demeanor out of the way temporarily, Jace might be able to look past that aspect and figure out what was going on. He shifted his weight from one leg to another, folding his arms in front of him and glaring at the captain with a blank stare. In reality, he was gauging his reaction and preparing himself for a violent reaction. He figured that Adrien would react to the news of the crew before the small jest in reference to the incident on Varonat, but he was wrong. Instead he tensed with a fiery look in his eyes, ready to smite Jace in an instant. It must have been something else that had happened, something since their last encounter.
Jace had a few parts figured out ahead of time. Whatever Ade pushed into service against him would be countered by the Force, disarming him or blocking an attack to buy him time. The crew was going to be difficult though. There was far too many of them for him to take on all at once. It didn't help that the only weapon on his person at this time was a silenced slugthrower, especially when he didn't want to harm this crew. He had no quarrel with them, and killing wasn't going to improve relations. No, that would most likely just make things worse.
But luckily for all of them, the built up tension diffused just as easily as it had on the Red Shift when a rather attractive woman stumbled face-first down the ramp. Jace stopped himself from observing directly, deciding to continue watching through his peripherals as he observed Adrien. Indeed, it looked like he had fallen into a kind of trance, most likely filled with memories of the recent past. Jace only knew that look because he himself slipped into flashbacks once in awhile, and they weren't pretty ones either.
He let Adrien go on about Fel and Wade, letting his theatrics distract himself as Jace panned his eyes over at the newcomers. He recognized the one that fell, the model-look alike he had seen on the media and Holonet while in Coruscant. She was with the crew at their last encounter on the Smuggler's Run. The other one, who was trying to detect something or get a read on him with her antennas was a new face. Multi-tasking with watching him and something interesting on the ground as it seemed. He wondered how many of the crew had come and gone since he last worked with them. He fixed his eyes back on him as he finished about Wade, making sure to keep his tone neutral. "You're probably right."
Jace couldn't help but crack a grin at Ade's statement. There were so many things he could have said to poke fun and irritate the captain further, but they had finally gotten around to talking about business. It was time to get this show on the road. "Well, now that you ask, I think I do have something for ya." He let his arms fall casually to his sides, glancing over the crew for a moment before looking back to Ade. "This one's got three stages, so pay attention. Transporting me to the planet of choosing will grant you twenty five thousand. Getting me to my destination on said planet will grant you a total of fifty thousand... And getting myself and my package off the planet to the second planet of my choosing will grant you a total of one hundred thousand credits." He studied Adrien and the crew carefully, wondering how they will react to such bountiful job. "If you'd like to discuss details, then we can do it safely aboard your ship."

Coruscant, Open Terrain – I smell danger
That...is a LOT of money! Adriana thought. Sure, she used to earn some big money herself back when she worked on Coruscant as a supermodel and an actress, but having spent a year or two with Adrien and this crew, she learnt one thing: a payment with that much money was never a good thing. It meant that they’re in for some serious flying, lots of shooting, probably lots of killing, hurting and definitely lots of name-calling. Adrien could get killed! Why does he always get into these kinds of things? She wondered miserably. Then she answered her own thoughts.
Because that’s who he is. He’s Adrien Draykon. Smuggler captain extraordinaire, man of mystery, maybe even a pirate when need be. He wouldn’t be Adrien Draykon if he didn’t get into these things. It’s why you have fallen for him. She removed her spectacles to rub her eyes, then puts them back on. She’d decided that there was almost no doubt that Adrien was going to accept the familiar man’s offer. Even if things became tense for a brief few seconds, the man was clever, not because Adriana thought he couldn’t take on Adrien, she was certain both had surprises and skills that could have made a battle between them go on for some time, but rather, she felt he didn’t come for the purpose of fighting Adrien and his crew, it would seem counterproductive to his needs. But considering she knew nothing about him, it’s possible he may want to produce a more vindictive result by lulling their sense of security, and then exacting some form of vengeance.
Before her thoughts and paranoia could get more imaginative, Adriana put a lid on it and siddled over to Adrien’s side, just shy of invading personal space. She’d nearly put her hand to rest on his shoulder, but pulled back abruptly, and, leaving her hand out in the air hanging for a moment, she looked so obviously surprised by herself, then she puts it over her left wrist, rubbing it with her thumb. She looked down at the ground, suddenly very interested in her shoes, and then at Anitha, the bug girl. At least she seemed happy and oblivious. Adriana wished she could be like that right now. She pulled her hand back because she was alarmed at how familiar she was becoming with Adrien. She’s just the crew doctor, and a friend, a young one at that. Nothing more, but she’d impulsively tried reaching out to him for some reason even she can’t think why now. Just before her hand would have touched his shoulder, she imagine two scenarios: Adrien would flinch, reflex, maybe even twist her arm away from him, and Nika would see the behavior and get mad, or two, Adrien doesn’t do anything about it, but will give her a good talking to later about invading personal space, and Nika would see the behavior and get mad.
Yeah, Nika’s getting mad at me one way or another... she thought sourly. Even though she’d pulled back in time, there’s no way no one saw what she’d done. Growing more self-conscious by the second, the girl abruptly moved back and away from Adrien. Why oh WHY did I go and do that?!? Adrien’s more than capable of deciding for himself what’s good for him and for the crew. What, you were going to advice him to think about this offer? Say that it could be a trap? You think he doesn’t know that? He’s been in this for years! You know nothing, Adriana! The girl stressed herself out a bit more and started fussing with her long hair, which constantly tangled up her clumsy fingers and caused her to really have a hair problem. Her golden halo hummed softly as her emotions and the little hair trouble started making her channel the Force. Enough that a trained Force-Sensitive would be able to detect her drawing energy into herself, opening herself up to her surroundings.

How curious, the human need for currency. Anitha thinks. She jerks her head rapidly about, glancing at nothing and everything. While she understands that currencies make the universe go around, and everyone has some form of it or another, she still believes it is unnecessary and a hindrance. Of course, she’s not one to offer her opinions on such a matter. After all, she’s not “paid” to offer such thoughts. She’s with Adrien to serve as a technical engineer, room cleaner, and spare sensor when all else fails. The smuggler captain knows how to use talent when he sees it, and Anitha made it clear she has no issues with him on the matter. She’s happy to help out wherever she can. It also allows her to watch and observe the very interesting kinds of people that he meets in his travels. Of course, none of them interest her as much as the captain himself does.
Not romantically, of course, the girl figures he’s got more than enough women interested in him. For example, there’s the young doctor, formerly a supermodel and holovid actress, Adriana Lima. Her emotional output always increases whenever she’s around the captain, and it is a scent so strong, Anitha’s own brain fuzzes up until she can literally see static in her eyes. Like right now, and Adriana seems to be getting her hand tangled up in her hair, which is causing that strange golden donut over her head to flare up, so Anitha’s eyes start itching, and she moves away by flying around the gathered people, and landing on the opposite side of Adrien, away from Adriana. Adrien and Adriana, Adrien and Adriana, how fascinating, I wonder if their names are deliberately aligned for a purpose? Anitha theorizes to herself idly.
While she carries on her act of the hyper, energetic and overly cheery half-bug girl, by chomping occasionally on her used computer chips in a bowl full of salsa sauce, smiling at everyone who looks at her, and tilting her head about in erratic positions, looking about, sniffing the air, Anitha is also analyzing the immediate surroundings. The man Adrien is talking to is dangerous. But then, so is everyone gathered here, even Adriana. So, in conclusion, when there are indeed so many dangerous people about, gathered in one place, things are inevitably going to happen, right? One can never be too careful, and that’s secretly what Anitha’s about. Protect those she cares for. And there’s no denying, in the short time she’s been with these people, she’s come to regard them as something of a personal hive. No doubt they’ll never understand her full mentality, but that does not mean she doesn’t regard them with high value so much so that she’d willingly put herself in danger to protect them. So her antennae eventually goes back to Jace, as she is wary of dangerous newcomers, and he is a client, a paying customer rather than a teammate or a friend. He is capable of anything.
For a brief moment, Anitha’s normally glazed eyes sharpens and she regards Jace like a predator regards its prey/meal before pouncing, and then reverts back to her normal cheery, carefree façade. There is certainly more to the bug girl than meets the eye, but she’s not going to say anything. She won’t act until it is absolutely necessary.

Adrien looked around and pursed his lips as he thought about the situation.Shep here was out manned and outgunned, but he had an ace in the hole, Adrien was sure of it. Of course Adrien wouldn't have expected any less because he would have an ace up his sleeve in a similar situation. It was ironic really, he was actually in the same situation a couple years ago with Fel's crew. And he was offering work, the price sounded decent, Adrien would try to talk him up of course but that would be later. He glanced at Frankie then back to Jace and nodded casually. Alright. He then turned on his heel and started to walk back toward the ship.
Adriana's behavior didn't go unnoticed of course, but he was mildly oblivious to a few of the more tell tale signs of her feelings towards him, whether it was conscience or sub-conscience remained to be seen, but he couldn't deny he felt a distinct closeness in return. It was particularly odd to him when she began to back away from him, falling further behind when she was keeping pace just a moment before but he assumed it was nothing after a moment of thought, her clumsiness often caused her to fall behind in less than urgent situations like this one.
It didn't escape Adrien's attention that Nika was uncharacteristically quiet during all of this, but nothing about her recently has been characteristic of the Nika he knows, or knew rather. She seemed like a whole different person since he had returned and taken the crew back. He couldn't help but wonder if he should say something to her later in private about how she's been acting not only toward him but in general. Or maybe it was this news with Fel that had him wondering if he should have a chat with her.
As he reached the boarding ramp he turned with a cocky smile and looked at Jace. Now remember, this is my home. I'm not gonna ask that you remove your weapons because that's just insulting and I like to be a good host. He leaned back on his foot and stuck his thumb in one of his belt loops. But if you touch it I'll put you down. Understand? He didn't wait for an answer, he only nodded. Good. Welcome aboard. He turned and started up the ramp. Nika, Frankie you've got guard duty. Which they should know meant guarding the entry ramp.He entered the common area of the ship, nodding to John before taking a seat and offering Jace a seat across from him.

Meanwhile a block over Svava had just been wondering around since her release from the months upon months in the hospital, longer much longer then expected due to her injuries subjugated from the incident on the docks so long ago. She walks down the street and then makes a turn down the ally a short walk possibly taking her two to three minutes before the ally's exit leading to a viewable advantage of the ship. She views it from the darkness of the ally, something was different or perhaps it was the knock of the head she got so long ago, a bit of amnesia? Hell she didn't know, she did recognize the ship, just why was she seeing herself outside the ship?
Svava continues to view from a distance for now trying to stay concealed by the shadows her force abilities more prominent now then ever before since that day on the docks. Watching her arms crossed and her legs crossed all the while leaning against the buildings structured wall in the shadows of the lonely ally.

Jace stood motionless for a split second before moving to follow Adrien towards the ship. He was glad that the deal was on the table and open for negotiations. Now they could get to their destination sooner and pick up the package. And while nobody else knew, time was of the essence. The longer they took to take off the more dangerous this mission was to become. But if he revealed this fact to Adrien, then the price would undoubtedly have to be raised. More-so than he was willing to pay. As they approached the ship, Jace raised a finger as he deviated his course to one side. "One second." He stepped over to a dilapidated bench, reaching behind the old artifact to pick up a small, black duffel bag. He slung it over his shoulder and walked back towards the ramp. He figured that some of the crew would tense up by this new object in the possession of their employer. He looked over at a few of them, deciding to address their concerns before he reached the boarding ramp. "It is alright, just a few personal objects I carry with me. Combat vest, A280 Blaster Rifle, datapad, and a few other things. You can search through it if you don't trust me."
As they reached the ramp he paused when the captain turned and addressed him. He listened to the captain's request, offering his own cocky smile and a wink. "Of course, it is only fair." If he had his gun out, he guaranteed that he'd take Adrien and half the crew with him. He knew that Adrien probably had a faster draw, but Jace wasn't foolish enough to pull a gun out in front of everybody. If he was going to take someone out, he'd get about two or three of them discreetly before the others caught on. He hoped Adrien didn't underestimate his abilities, despite his lack of knowledge of Jace's background and experience.
Once they entered and got to the table, Jace took the offered seat across from Adrien and placed the bag beside himself. Reaching into the bag, he pulled out two small glass cups and a small green bottle with intricate designs on the side. Printed on the neck in an equally intricate text were the words 'Whyren's Reserve'. He poured the contents into the cups and slid one over to Adrien before capping the bottle and placing it into the bag. Jace picked up his glass and took a thoughtful sip from it, nodding his personal approval of the smooth texture and woody, spiced flavor before placing it back on the table. He looked up to Adrien, thinking for a few minutes before starting. "Our destination will be the Core planet of Corulag. We'll be landing in the capital of Curamelle. From there, you and whoever you decide to come with us will provide escort duty to a point within the city where I will pick up my package. We will then return to the ship with the package and leave the planet. Where our final destination is, I do not know yet." He paused, glancing over at the others in the room to gauge their possible reactions before focusing back on Adrien.
