Following close behind, she listened intently as he spoke of what he did as the armorer. She had heard Gavin speak of his time ages ago when he crafted weapons, whether for himself, the academy, or simply just for display. He spoke of it with such fondness, as if it brought him great pride. He had even shown her some of the weapons that remained at the academy ruins on Kiffu. Each of them unique in its design, a true work of art. Perhaps that was the point. It was more than a trade or skill, but a hobby a desire. Gavin had found enjoyment in the creation of such fine works of art. With each design, she had begun to find a love for the art, if only to collect and show off their beauty.
Of course, as Panno had stated, his job was more geared towards armor. But she had also seen the armor that her ancestor had worn. As with each weapon, creating armor was an art, something that needed great care and passion in order to receive great results. She couldn't help but wonder if it would be something she'd eventually enjoy herself, or if collecting would be the extent of it.
Reaching out, she gripped the hilt with both hands. She looked it over taking in the small details. It was a fine piece of work, much different in its style than she had seen thus far. Letting her hand move up the blade, she let her fingers trace the design and take in the glow. She could also feel the power of the crystal and wondered if it gave the blade extra abilities as lightsabers gained.
"It is a very beautiful sword. Did you make it from electrum or is it simply the glow that gives it such an appearance?" She reached out to hand the sword back to him, being as careful as she could. It may be used in battle, but she didn't wish to damage it anymore than it needed to be.
"Gavin used to forge weapons himself and has shown me quite a few of his creations. Beautiful works of art, I must say. I had hoped that in time, I would chance to either forge something of my own, or at least have someone create them for me."

*Gavin watched as Anya handled the sword and took in its appearance. He had been surprised at the liking she had taken to weapons. It wasn't something he even started training her in yet she took to it like it was something she had always loved.
When she mentioned his time forging weapons, he closed his eyes with a chuckle. Those were the days. He could let himself go in the heat of the forge and let his imagination run wild, letting him find release from the reality around him.* "Those were the days. But I haven't had the chance to do so in a very long time. The last blade I ever created was Shintara." *He reached over his right shoulder and pulled the sword off his back as he looked it over.
The blade was long, reaching four and a half feet from the blade tip to the end of the hilt. A size normal form a broadsword and such, but the style it followed was more of a large katana. At the tip of the blade, two smaller blades curved back towards the hilt across the top like dragon's teeth. Approaching the hilt, a part extended up and back to the hilt guard and a curved blade extended off the bottom and back over the hilt. The guard took the shape of a dragon's head with the blade exiting it's mouth, the top extension piercing into its forehead. A pair of horns curved back over the hilt while another pair curved down to the chin, meeting underneath, meeting the curved part of the blade and appeared to hold it in place. The hilt is inscribed with runes of power and strength and the end of the hilt, a four point spear, similar to two fleur de lis crossing each other, extended off the back for an extra place of attack. It size seemed to suggest it was heavy though Gavin held it easily with a single hand.*

Pressing the button for the elevator he whistled looking at Gavins sword. Now that is an elegant looking blade. If mine is a work of art yours is crafted by the gods. Beauty and practical. Peering at the metal more closely he studied it for a moment. Phrik is it? You are holding it to easily for it to be any other metal and something tells me it is not Mandalorian Iron. I fought against them in their last crusade and the only Beskar I got my hands I still hold onto it He smiled at his wit as he raised his left hand. Its the glow that gives it that appearance, the metals I used were grey like any other. Grey and very brittle. I imparted a part of myself in the blade in its construction, imbuing it with the force to strengthen it. Those lightning marks were meant to be the only side effect but it glowed as well. Before the elevator gets here and take out your lightsaber and strike the blade, I assure you, you will be surprised. Two people well versed in forging and a third hopefull? Well this was more than he had hoped. It had been many a moon since anyone in the order was interested in his trade. One had been killed in the war, his master. The other disappeared no doubt forever as well. Not to say your Master doesnt know anything, quite the contrary that sword alone speaks volume of his skill but there are things I know he does not. Just as he knows things I do not. I might be willing to impart some of my skills on you and those I cant, well I can do for you. If you gain nothing else from this trip you will leave here with something of your own. With a ping the elevator showed up and Panno entered and waited for the others before pressing the button to go to the Library of Fel Leadership

*Gavin nodded as he placed the sword on his back. There were no straps to hold it, its ability to stay in place was Gavin ability in the Force to hold it there naturally.*
"You are right. It is Phrik, though it is still far from light. To use it so easily involves the Force to wield it as such. Of the four swords I've made for myself, it would be the weakest as it is the only one not imbued with the Force. It's predecessor was the strongest, taking me a month straight to forge, putting all of my being and strength of the Force into it. It is one-hundred and forty-six years old, while this is about forty."
*Gavin took a step back to allow Anya to make her strike at Panno's blade. Compared to Gavin's his blade may have been far simpler, but that did not take from its beauty or ability. Sometimes, simplicity was the best.* "Agreed, there are many things I do not know, especially of any techniques developed in the past forty-five years. Listen well, to his words, Anya, watch his form and technique."

Anya looked at Gavin's blade as he held it out. She had seen it many times, but each time she did, she couldn't help but be amazed in its design. It was something that clearly took time, focus, and imagination to craft. She had tried to hold it once, but its weight was too much for her. While not on Gavin's level, she had learned to enhance her own strength with the Force, but it was clearly not a style of weapon best meant for her. Despite her interest in weapons, she had a desire to have something that was not normally seen or fought against. Such a weapon was rare, though, as she had come to realize that solid weapons and lightsabers had similar types weapons.
She redirected her attention as Panno spoke to her, listening intently as he talked more of his blade and his ability to forge. When he asked her to strike his blade, she removed her lightsaber and ignited it, letting the gold blade emerge. It was thin and well defined, thanks to the Rubat and Velmorite crystals. She didn't strike it hard, but gave enough force as she brought the saber to meet Panno's blade, curious as to what would happen.
