The old Jedi Master looked up to the man who had greeted him and flashed his quite unique smile. He mustered the young man shortly and then nodded towards him. Yolem leaned placed both hands on the cane he was using. A tool he loved to show and mislead others. Well most of the time. When the weather was bad his old bones welcomed the walking stick.
"Greetings from the Jedi Order I bring. Yolem my name it is and looking forward to the meeting I am." He fetched something out of one of his pouches offering a candy in silver wrappings to the man in front of him before taking one for himself. "Candy?"

Deapite the battle above the planet things had been operating fairly much the same even in the central building of the planet. When a second, small ship dropped out of hyperspace from the direction of Foerest the building went into high alert. It had almost been shot down, though the codes checked out and the messege saved the lives of all on board. Sending the coordinates to Krzesimir Viggo to land in the hanger the base was finally put onto high alert.
Despite an uneasy truce between the different warlords it was dumb to let your gaurs down. As such, in addition to three Imperial knights two dozen stormtroopers fully armed were sent to receive the package. If things were to turn from bad to worse then hopefully the odds would be even.

The landing craft sets down on the designated pad, and the landing ramp opens almost immediately. Down the ramp floats a hover-gurney with a still unconscious Fel, though the sedatives should be wearing off by now, so he could wake up at any moment. Around the gurney are four stormtroopers, two in the front watching for trouble, two in the back watching the gurney. The troopers walk the gurney over to the welcoming party, and saluted smartly, before one held out a data pad and asked for a signature for personnel tracking purposes. Upon obtaining the desired signature, or it's equivalent, the troopers turn and board the landing craft, which immediately begins it's departure sequence.

Fel was walking through a forest. No. Some sort of chasm. Maybe the bottom of a dry river, etching its way into the floor of a hot, dry world until he was hundreds of feet below ground, making his way over the remains of a river that time forgot. Except 'walking' wasn't quite right. He was crawling. Or maybe it was just the effort that made it seem so. It was dark. Or maybe it was fog. The fog made it seem dark. But if it was dark, how did he know there was even a mist? His abdomen throbbed, and he clutched at it, but instead, found he was holding his left had, throbbing. He tensed the injured hand, and when he opened it, his eyes stared back at him, the organs wet in his palm. Other parts hurt too, and he imagined it was the length of his journey that caused him to ache. He tried to hurry on, but found he couldn't press on any faster, as the figure walking next to him (over him?) held him at bay. This annoyed the pilot, and he eyed the man's face as it appeared out of the fog.
Nice... helmet. Can we hurry up... please? I hafta get out of this forest-cave...

One of the Knights signed the box giving false information. Despite them working together to bring this criminal to justice it meant nothing. They were still at war, this was just two fish working to take down a larger fish. Once they were off the Knights left, making sure there was nothing that could destroy the peace and safety of the temple. Satisfied that everything was safe the troopers spread out, a dozen on either side and the back. Raising their blasters Erebus, dressed in his new armour began the reawakening process.
Taking off his helmet he held it under his right arm just above the hip, standing with his hip crooked to the side he waited. This clone was different than most, while all the others had brown hair, green eyes and an Arabic look to them; Erebus was a ghost. White skin, eyes like the deepest oceans and dark curly hair had it been grown out. Despite being under his armour for most of his life his skin was always tanned and he still showed signs of the last battle he had been in. Scanned cuts dotted his face. Everyone be sharp, word has it this Fel is slippery, no telling what he might do.
As he said it, he knew that he had screwed up. This man was a Fel. The rightful heir to the Imperial throne, somewhere along the line he was related to Jagged and Roan. How someone who was at one time a great Imperial had turned his back on it all astounded the clone. His name was still well known amoung the men and women, a crazy pilot. One of the best to fly under the Imperial flag, then one day he simply left. All records as to why were confidential of course, but rumors as to why spread like wildfire

Slowly, the fog cleared, only to be replaced by pain behind his eyes, which the pilot raised a hand to shield against, and pain from his extremities and abdomen, where Darkwell had been busiest. A few moments ago, he had wished for his head to clear. Now, he wished for anything but. Eyesight focused, and though he didn't have two ideas to rub together that would tell him where in the three suns he was, the welcoming committee told him all he needed to know.
Gritting teeth and tensing his core, it took all his effort to sit up, and swing legs off the side of the gurney. He groaned against the effort and bit back any further sound, but managed to rise, coming as close to upright as his bandaged stomach would allow, and he held the left hand close to his body, as if it might break, but after a few seconds, Galdaart Fel stood barefoot and shirtless, eye to eye with Erebus. His natural eye, ice blue and watering under the strain, stood in marked contrast to the bio-system replacement left eye, a sickly yellow.
The troops and knights had tensed as he rose, not unexpected, but not terribly necessary all things considered. He was going nowhere, and certainly couldn't put up much of a fight in his current state. He swayed slightly on his land-sick feet, before snapping the first salute he had performed in over ten years, and then turned over his left forearm to expose the faded Imperial Navy barcode tattooed at his wrist.
Fel, 189247-002. Your orders, soldier?

As the captive rose so to did the guns surveyed around him, all pointing directly at him all of the triggers a hairsbreadth from firing. For a few tense moments nobody spoke. Slowly Erebus returned the salute before signalling for the soliders to lower their weapons. All of them did, as years of training dictated but a handful kept their fingers on the trigger just to be safe. Lowering his hand Erebus felt slightly awed at what he saw. Sure this man was a criminal, but he was still somewhere buried deep a pilot. Someone of a higher rank than him and he saluted first, the effect may have been lost to Galdaart but to the clone it meant the world. My orders are simple, take you to get you examined. As much as bounty hunters are useful, they sometimes are a little to rough with their marks.
Looking the shirtless man up and down he could see this was the case. As usual. The stomach although expertly bandaged could prove meddlesome and the way he gingerly moved his left arm caused the storm trooper concern. From there we are to go to the detention level and make sure you arrive safely. This is a different empire than when you left. There will be a trail, military of course, and from there you are out of my hands. It was strange, they had never met before yet Erebus had the strangest feeling they had crossed paths once. He pictured a man on his stomach and a tense standoff with a woman over his body. That couldn't be right though, up until a few weeks ago he had been stationed on Dubrillion. Shaking the feeling off they headed towards the medical center. (There isn't one so to the detention center)

The look on the smuggler's face betrayed none of the anger that brewed within. A 'new empire.' Sure. All democratic and peaceful. Welcoming and kind. Fel nodded once, motioned for the detachment to lead the way. He may have been injured and slow, but if he was destined to spend the rest of his days in a 5X10 cell, he was damn well going to walk to his sentencing under his own steam.
"...There will be a trial, military of course, and from there you are out of my hands."
The pilot couldn't help but laugh, the sound issuing forth first like snapping tree branches, sharp and hard, echoing off the duralumin walls as they moved out of the sun and deeper into the base. The laughter faltered, replaced suddenly by deep, wracking coughs that left the man raggedly drawing breath, stopped in his tracks and bent double, blood trickling from his mouth.
Once Galdaart had caught his breath, and once more stood upright, he continued on as if nothing had happened, though the troops around him waited a couple of paces in case the man required attention or assistance, or worse yet, was faking it and planned to make a foolhardy attempt at escape. But Fel continued on, side by side with Erebus.
Soldier, things have been out of my hands for longer than I care to think. Believe me, I was never in 'your hands.' Don't ever make the mistake of believing you have a say in your own destiny. It just ain't true. You believe in fate? I used to. Young, idealistic, purposeful. I remember it well. Don't seem too long ago sometimes. Somewheres along the way, that drive got replaced by a dogged determination to place one foot in front of the other, just keep moving. Didn't know any other way. Still don't.
He drew up short, stopping abruptly as if he had just remembered something important.
My jacket. Did Darkwell deliver any personals with me, or just this? indicating the beltless pants he's wearing... and noticing the blank stares of the men surrounding him, realizes how crazy this must have sounded... Ah, well. Lead on, soldier. We shouldn't keep anyone waiting...

The landing pad usually full of activity was silent, due in part ot the person who would be landing shortly. The whole area was sealed off and the ships that were parked here sent to a less secure pad. From the air it would look like three lines of white surrounded by crimson were on the pad. In reality it was 300 Stormtroopers including Erebus and all the Imperial Knights on planet. In the center of all this stood Ganner Draco the newest Leader of the Imperial Knights and current head of state. Normally he would have gone to the Bastion meeting but instead he trusted the others to take his place. No his mission was to protect the homeland.

Taking the antique shuttle down to the landing pad, Cade found himself amused at assembly gathered for his return. As the landing gear made contact with the pad, Cade had already set the ship into stand by and was making for the ramp. Standing at the top of the ramp as it lowered, heavy, clanking footsteps signaled Cade's descent, his tattered white cloak blew about in a short gust of wind. Coming to a halt before Ganner, Cade said.
Impressive display, Mister Draco, but not necessary. Now that I have returned, I'll be needing a status update on the Empire, and that of the greater galaxy immediately.

As Ganner stood there his body tensed, he felt like he was in the presence of a wild beast. An apex predator stood before him, and he was just a stepping stone in front of him. Gather his wits about him and pushing the feeling aside he raised his head and gave his best bitch stare. Thats Master Draco. No offense but I am not just going to update someone claiming to be someone who was dead. If I did that every other day I would be talking to Palpatine, Vader hell even you. At the word you the fully armour clad Knight did finger quotations.
I need its proof its you, more than just your word. You've been dead for half a decade... He let the statement lay, obviously this person was Fel. He had that same entitled walk and high class twang in his voice, still there were laws, rules, and technicalities that needed to be followed. If you have any arms hand them over now and come peacefully or I will be forced to make you. At this Erebus walked forward, stun blaster in one hand held down casually and a bag in the other for weapons.

Cade's eyes narrowed as Draco spoke. Had he really been gone for five years? Putting that aside to address later, Cade slowly rose his right arm across his chest and pulled back a sliding compartment in his forearm and withdrew his Imperial Knight lightsaber. Sliding the compartment closed and extended his right hand out towards Draco and reached out with the Force. Instead of perpetuating the stereo type of going for the throat, Cade reached out with the cold hand of the Force and gripped Draco's beating heart and slowly began to squeeze. I find your lack of respect distasteful, Master Draco. I am Cadeous Fel. And I answer to no one. Now do as I command or die on your knees before me. Cade's eyes then changed from their natural gold to the yellow-red of the darkside. I did not travel all this way and escape from the grasp of the Vong to be kept from my duty by one man.

As he stood there the interim leader felt his heart be gripped both physically and through the force. It began to beat slightly faster but he tried to calm himself and spoke slowly. As the other Imperial Knight that ringed the pad turned on their blades alerting the stormtroopers to the threat. The amount of power emanating from Cadeous was emense and clouded. Despite knowing something was happen there was no way to discern the intent. Now now, think about it. We can walk into this place as friends; or you can kill me here. Sure you may end me but there is no way you can stop 300 men with guns and dozens of lightsabers. You will lay beside me, I suggest that you drop the tough guy facade and prove yourself. It's a simple blood test, DNA does not lie after all.
Erebus was close enough to hear this exchange and he raised his stun weapon and his finger depressed the trigger so that it was a hairsbreadth from firing. The tension between these two was so think you could cut it with a knife. Had it not been for his conditioning he would have shot this man down. As it was though he waited for orders, or to be threatened.

Cade took a moment to glance out at the gathered knights and armed troops. His arrogance declared that he could take them easily, and he probably could. However, his reason gathered that these people would be of more use at his service then as corpses. Releasing his grip on Draco's heart, Cade tossed his saber to the trooper holding the bag and said. This is beneath me Draco. However if your blood test will put your mind at ease lets move this along. Lead the way.

The Nune-class shuttle descended down upon the city of New Escrow, the heart of the Imperial Remnant within the Deep Core. The engines began to die down as the shuttle shift to land upon a landing platform. The pilot gave the thumbs up to the passengers as the ramp hissed and opened. The Stormtroopers disembarked first, followed by Valstrol and his stepson, Vallen. He glances at his son.
The Head of State, Nicademus Delvardus, is most likely in his office if you wish to see him, Vallen. As for our chat, I suspect it can wait till later. Your mind seems tired and unfocused right now from the long trips you have endured to get to Tatooine and Aargau.

Vallen nodded, his armor clinking together gently.
That it is. He turned his head towards his step-father. But we will talk, and soon.
Vallen stepped out of the transport, behind Valstrol. So, where is this man's office?

Vallen nodded, his armor clinking together gently. That it is. He turned his head towards his step-father. But we will talk, and soon. Vallen stepped out of the transport, behind Valstrol. So, where is this man's office? Valstrol points upward towards the upper levels of the complex and then to the right of their position to an area that overlooked the Government sector and a bulk of New Escrow. His gaze looks to Vallen afterwards. He is in the Head of State's Suite on the top floor. If you can't find it, Stormtroopers will be patrolling the hallways, they can give you directions. After Vallen had departed into the Imperial government building to meet with Nicademus Delvardus, Valstrol notices a group of Imperial Knights and Stormtroopers clustered around a certain individual. He approaches the crowd which appeared to be ready for action. Then his sense picked it up, a Force signature long thought to be dead. He moves through the crowd, gazing at the figure he recognized, then turned to the Imperial Knight in charge.Come on, move along. I can vouch that this guy is the real article, nothing about him is false. Unlike many of you from a different generation, I know who this man is by his force signature. Now, move along. The Stormtroopers saluted and would proceed to leave. Draco, among the other Imperial Knights, reluctantly departed with the others as they headed part to their posts and to the government building. Valstrol's gaze then turns to the figure they had surrounded before. His arms cross before the Sith speaks up.I need to start calling up debts, Cade. You sure have a tally on my list. More to the question, how are you alive, Fel?

More to the question, how are you alive, Fel? As Draco prepared to lead the convoy of knights and soldiers into the capital building, Cade stopped as a familiar presence landed not far away. As the man of power forced his way through the Stormtroopers and Knights, Cade felt an uncontrolled grin come to his scared lips. While Valstrol dismissed Draco and his entourage, Cade felt himself breathing more heavily and his grin quickly turned to that of frustration as a small warning on his life-preserver suits HUD notified him that a minor malfunction had occurred in his breathing unit and requested to be repaired immediately. Before he could do anything about that though, he addressed Val. It's a very, very, long story. One I do not intend to tell here. This pile of scrap... Motioning over the partially rusted, dented and otherwise broken, suit of armor. ...is beginning to crumble apart with every step. Let us go someplace more private where I may do some repairs. At that, there was a loud pop, and a sharp hiss as a hydraulic line in Cade's right leg, locking his leg straight, drawing a long, frustrated growl from Cade.

Valstrol hears the loud hissing noise, followed by the frustration that emitted from Cade's mask. He waves over some of the platform crew who come over to help Cade move. The Sith glances at Cade, wondering what answers the man would give him. Slowly, he begins to walk towards the Imperial Center government building.
We will get you to the Barracks and Armoury, see if a maintenance droid can fix your leg up. Maybe something better can be made in the Forge.

As the platform crew rushed over to him, Cade let loose a Force Push that knocked them back to the durasteel ground at his feet. Breathing heavily, he slid his foot forward, picked it up and began somewhat hobbling towards the end of the platform, saying. "I do not require your assistance." With his tattered white cloak flowing in the breeze behind him, Cade followed Val to the Armory.
