Though Mon Cals are in an interesting duality, not human, but rather alien and in the outer rim and theoretically rich. Definitely having the resource to donate the "penance" the Republic is asking. The current administration believes that their fleet belongs to them anyway. :-P

I only wish Crom'nen were here. Belf'ima, though eloquent, is more restrained. Crom'nen has no problem levying accusations that make his point, even if they undermine the Republic as a whole. Belf'ima wants to do right, where as Crom'nen wants to win.
By the way, to make this clear, that agreement she refers to actually did happen in 1.5, with Nidawi acting on behalf of the Republic. That said, OOC knowledge, the Jedi playing the Ryloth defense fleet were defeated and retreated, so Ryloth has no defenses, but no one, even Crom'nen or Belf'ima, knows this yet. I've also said time and again that I did not wish to operate planetary control nor a fleet, and even though I'm being forced to take over the Clan Council, it seems, I still will not play a fleet.

There were some Jedi dong it, but they pulled out from the attack. I'm able to write more right now (job loss) but hopefully I won't have so much free time soon.

I guess that's part of the OOC project then. Finding some people willing to write defensive fleets. Or, since Darma's proposition involves only a portion of the personal allowances for each world, it could be that a few people share their fleet out between a few different worlds.
I guess it's all about who your OOC friends are.

The beauty of that is that Georj actively -hates- that distinction, Human/Non-human, and that it is the Non-human that is sort of promoting the idea of a division. Beautifully ironic and rather quite elegant, in a way.

I read this thread before posting this time, and still the posts exceed my expectations. Great posts Crom'nen and Dav! Koronov post already!! I can't wait to see what you've got to add. I eagerly await your responses and am glad that we have at least five of us actively working to keep the show running. OOC: does Ryloth need Caps still or has someone fulfilled that contract already? |

We had some, but they recently got defeated in Orbit, though that is as of yet unknown.
Ok, I responded with some of the mind of Belf'ima. I'm trying to still show her as generally arrogant, but of better character than Crom'nen. I hope she's developing distinctly enough. I'm trying to walk the fine line between political savant and serious jerk (where as Crom'nen jumps the line).
Seriously people, I'd love to get more backers in here. Jago, I'd love to here Flin's perspective.
