So, are there enough people returned to warrant the creation of the Republic usergroup once more? I dearly hope so. Senators of the galaxy, unite!
After all, these Jedi must have some accountability from the legitimate government.

But if that suggestions gets your lekku's in a twist don't worry. Before the old site crashed the Supreme Chancellor and Iwere discussing some Imperial/Republic SLs regarding Corulag a world in which The Mysterious Man has covertly supported a pro-imperial paramilitary movement that wishes to depose the pro-republic government and declare for the Empire. While we can discuss it, it might offer for some interesting exchanges between our two groups in the coming weeks

My character actually has very little in the way of loyalty, but I still hoped to reactivate some Senate related SLs that I was doing. I'm still hoping some of them will join up.
But hey, if not, I'm willing.

Yeah mate, I hope your buddies show up as well. As fun as it would be to hustle you back to the Empire... there is truly something to be said about the Galactic Republic and it's essential, or at very least, important role in the star wars universe. The site would be lesser for the loss of such a hallmark and staple star wars organization

I'm going to probably create one or two Senator NPCs. I'm currently considering one for Osarian and one for, I dunno, probably a world not listed on JvS any more. Commenor, most likely, since that's Dav's homeworld. Might throw one in for a world in the Gordian Reach, since that's Yavin's little protectorate area.

I have been working on a storyline with Brulax Ruso and Ludo Karesh to officially bring Rodia into the republic, and when that happens I too will be engaged in rp as a senator. If anyone would be interested, I have been working with the jedi on Rodia to set up a storyline. I would like to manipulate a small jedi on jedi war that would bring the Free Jedi Order more fully into the galactic fold and Rodia into the Republic. This is the IC explanation I came up with in 1.5: "Three years ago, a young man be the name of Landrin Starholder came to Chandrilla and kidnapped the daughter of an influential diplomat. A bounty was placed on his head, but only recently was Mia returned to her family. Landrin, however, has thus far escaped justice. When I reclaimed Mia from her kidnapper, he fled to the planet Rodia to enlist the help of the "jedi" in his quest to take her back from her family. I have reason to believe that these so-called jedi are planning an attack on Chandrilla in order to accomplish this goal. I cannot allow that to happen. I wish to seek the aid of the jedi council and the republic in bringing them to justice." |

I'll be contributing a Senator or two as well, as NPCs. Dunno where from, yet. One will most likely be from Omwat, seeing as I have a thing for the feather-heads. The other ... I'm not sure. I'll have to see. But I'm eager to help get The Republic up and moving again.
