Jedi Council OOC planning

I'll give it a day or two for another legitimate name to pop up, but we may be looking at our new trio of PC Councilors.

Brilliant. Well I was interested in the Stennes Shifter and their illusion based power as well as how they are able to feed off the residual wasted force energy of others. I thought this would be quite an interesting character to write. Coming from the angle that the more people or beings about him the more versatile and powerful he could become. I'm not talking pg Galen Marek bringing star destroyers out of orbit powerful, just an increase in power. Say by himself alone he can lift a rock the size and weight of half his body weight. With other beings to draw from, depending upon how many, he could lift two rocks, or a rock the size and weight of a landspeeder.

I just think this idea fits nicely with the Jedi ethos of working together and reminds me of the ancient Jedi, how Nomi Sunrider would go into battle whilst being shielded by her master. I'm thinking of a collaborative play and writing, my Jedi being more perhaps direct and combat orientated when solo, but more supportive when with others.

I think he'd be an interesting character and since back in history the Stennes Shifters were hunted and feared by the Jedi, it would be interesting. In the beginning I think he would be seeking answers from the Jedi as to why it happened and wanting an apology. That leads him already on a path to meeting one of youbor going to an Academy. On his journey wounds can be heard and his ability of 'feeding' off residual force energy can be trained and tamed, since its an ability which I guess could be miss used.

Along with this ability they have their illusion based power which also has greater effect when surrounded by more beings, so you can see that this character greatly hinges on support from others and is more effective in a crowd, which gives him both great and interesting possibilities as well as interesting limitations.

In terms of training I think that he would want to see Jedi work up close and personal, so I imagine his training would be field based, with some academy lessons.

I'm flexible and open to ideas and suggestions etc.

Also, Icrarusk sorry I've not posted here for a while, been busy with some stuff, and trying to figure out where to send you. Honestly, I'm far too all over the place to prove to be a good Master for your character. I do really like the idea you are going for, and hopefully we can find someone to aide you in it.

I agree with Shiny-Pants, no need to sweat the NPC details at this point, save for maybe the number of members that serve on the Council. I believe twelve was the usual number when Yoda, Mace Windu, and company were on the Council, so that sounds like a good number to me. The species, names, and other details can be filled in at a later time, if ever truly necessary.
