Jedi Council OOC planning

You could argue that the Jedi have jurisdiction over all Republic worlds.

But looking at it another way, it is also possible to say that the Republic, not the Jedi, has jurisdiction over Corellia. The Jedi are not directly involved in the Corellian government like they once were.

Jedi here looking for jedi stuff to do

My storylines have been stuck in void for months, so this character could also use something new to do. I was assigned at one point to help lead the Council of Reconciliation, but my other council members have left the site, and nothing came of it. My nominal asdignment is as Jedi Watcheoman for the Corellian Sector, but there hasn't been much activity there, either. So while I'm not in a hurry for an assignment (nor do I have OOC time for anything super-complex) this character is available.

I actually don't have anything in mind (yet). I was posting here to let you (and others) know that I am available to play a part in someone else's storyline.

I have a new laptop so I'm ready to start contributing to the Jedi once more!

well, it looks like Rutil and Aer are getting together with the Hapans/Belial to attack Kashyyyk and once and for all wipe out the Kashyyyk Sith Order. There isn't anything overly action packed going on elsewhere. Ja'Sean seems to be meeting with Serrin and possibly Kel'al on Corellia to discuss something. People are doing things on Felucia (training maybe?). Dyvius seems to have some private SL stuff going on Coruscant. Other than that, the Th'tremsi are going to be dropping by each academy to drop off garrison forces so that we have some of our 'own' troops to guard the various Academies and Temples with.

Aside from that, I'm going to start working towards reforming the Jedi Order back to the peace keepers that we are meant to be, wherein the Temples will act as quest hubs and Jedi will spend most of their time abroad, trying to keep the peace (and giving people an opportunity to expand their writing circles). Part of the reason i'm making this push, is that we've lost a lot of leading Jedi Writer's OOC, and the few that are left, are mostly all kind of tied up in their own SL's. This way people wont be standing around at Jedi Temples waiting to talk to a Jedi Master who's already got about 6 people wanting to ask what they should be doing, instead there'll be some some NPCs that'll be like "well, we've got information that planet Y is rioting, so check it out" or "intel suggests a new crime lord is rising on planet X, stop them" or, on the odd occasion (when people see fit to share information with the rest of the Jedi Order IC) "we've learned a Sith Lord may be operating on planet Z, see what you can find out and take them down if you can"
