Loki nodded at Zalor but remained silent. Watching after the clone deep in thought it was a few moments before the Troopers would arrive. "This is my fault." He said to Zalor. "It was my contingency plan, in the event I died. I "Died" on Etti Iv, for a few moments, long enough for the signal to be sent to the facility on Dantooine." Loki said darkly.
"Zalor, this clone will be a thorn in our side for a long while and I am afraid we cannot kill it, for killing it would activate another to take its place, we have to destroy them all, we must..." The Deathtroopers walked around the corner cutting off Loki's final word, then the words came across? Loki dropped his lightsaber letting it disengage, and clatter to the ground raising his hands above his head and walking towards the Deathtroopers. "It seems the first order has found us.." Loki said quietly to Zalor. "Only two of you?" Loki said addressing them as he walked closer and closer stopping about ten paces in front of them hands still firmly placed above his head. One of the Troopers took a pair of cuffs from his belt and threw them at Loki's feet. The voice scrambler turned off, and you could almost hear the two Death Troopers thinking about how many ranks they were going to skip because of this achievement. "Put 'em on, there's a good boy." Crooned the sergeant, his voice filled with utter mockery, both kept their guns levelled, but it was an easier, cockier and more relaxed stance they stood with now, their fingers no longer tight on the triggers, and their attention beginning to drift. They had almost completely ignored the trio at the rear of Loki.

*Atton got the comm message from Adi not long after he and Thea had left her house. He assumed that the fallback location that Adi referred to was the villa in the lake country where they had first landed upon arrival on Naboo.*"So we need to get back to the villa we came from..." *Reaching the end of the street, he peered around the corner of one of the houses and grimaced as he saw a checkpoint being set up by what he assumed were the First Order troops. He quickly pulled back.*"Damn...already blocked off parts of the road. There's no way we're getting out of here without being seen..." *The original plan had been to try and sneak away but Atton couldn't see a way around the checkpoint. Thinking quickly, he remembered that the speeder they had taken to Thea's house was probably still there, provided the First Order hadn't swiped it. The plan brewing in his mind was reckless, but if he could buy some time, at least Thea would be able to get away. She couldn't fight, so getting her out of danger quickly was the priority. Although if he managed to clear the checkpoint quickly, maybe Thea could pick him up and they could try to get away before the First Order sent more reinforcements...
He turned to her.*"I think the speeder we took here is still parked at your house...you get back there and grab it. I'll distract the soldiers here. They're clamping down on the city so we gotta move fast! Go!" *Atton waited until Thea started back for her house before taking a deep breath and starting to walk slowly down the street, lightsaber in hand. It wouldn't be long before the soldiers noticed him. He gathered the Force around him as he walked, preparing himself for the battle. With a smirk, he hailed the guards at the checkpoint and activated his lightsaber, the cyan blade igniting with the familiar snap-hiss sound.*"Hey fellas! I'm kinda new in town, do you guys know where the bar is?" The Troopers didn't even bother issuing orders to desist, they just brought their weapons up and started firing the blue stun shots they were authorised to fire. 20 Death Troopers manned the checkpoint, with a large heavy machine Blaster mounted on a tripod in the centre - it remained silent, for it was incapable of firing stunning shots. They quickly fanned out in a line, and soon the air was filled with Blaster fire from a collection of blasters, including the very powerful T-21 Heavy Blaster, capable of throwing a man back about twenty feet with a stun shot to the chest.

*Atton wasn't terribly surprised that not one of the men guarding the checkpoint seemed interested in giving him directions, and he was even less surprised to see them getting ready to shoot. Still, the Jedi Knight was off and running before the first shot was even fired, using the Force to boost his running speed far beyond what he would otherwise be normally capable of. Moving quickly, he managed to duck behind one of the houses and skidded to a halt just as the soldiers turned to track and fire at him. There were 20 heavily armed soldiers at this checkpoint, more than he had initially thought. He had found cover but he didn't need his Force sense to know that they were closing fast and would likely try to surround him. Engaging them like this had certainly been reckless, but at least he had their full attention, and that meant Thea would hopefully be moving relatively unnoticed.
He took a deep breath, once again gathering the Force around him. There wasn't much time until the First Order troopers closed the distance between them, but he wasn't just going to wait for them to come to him. Raising his lightsaber, he took one more deep breath and withdrew his other lightsaber, the green blade hissing to life. Now with a lightsaber in both hands, he waited until the troop's chatter and footsteps got closer and closer. As they did, he could tell that they would try to flank him from his spot in cover. Two groups, fairly even in size. If they flanked him, he wouldn't stand a chance.
But that just wasn't going to happen. Not this time.*
Here goes nothing...
*As the first trooper rounded the corner, Atton practically flew out of his hiding spot and swung the saber in his right hand in an upwards arc. With a cry, the unfortunate soldier fell to the ground, staring at the stumps where his hands used to be. Atton didn't stop for a second, and with the Force boosting his speed, he lunged at the soldiers that were charging at him. He ran the second trooper right through the chest with the saber in his left hand, deflecting a shot from a third with the one in his right. The trooper wasn't able to get off a second shot as Atton was upon him already, and with a quick swing, the offending trooper was decapitated. A fourth managed to get a few shots but none of them found their mark as Atton deflected them harmlessly into the ground before dispatching that soldier as well. A fifth met the same fate as well, but the noise and shooting was drawing in the rest of the troopers. Several stun blasts, powerful ones from what he could tell whizzed by him, only missing by mere inches, some even less than that. He was in danger of being flanked, so he took off running the opposite direction, heading back across the street. The speed at which he moved gained him some distance from the troopers that were shooting at him and the shots started going wider as he got farther away.
As he ran, he noticed the checkpoint was still manned, albeit with far fewer troopers, only four from what he could tell. Rather than charging them like he had the previous group, he had a far simpler solution to this problem. Knowing he had only seconds before the rest caught up to him, he raised the saber in his left hand and threw it. The blade spun so fast that it blurred as it raced towards its target, Atton guiding its trajectory with the Force. The saber spun towards the four troopers manning the checkpoint and each were cut down by the saber, though the last one was able to get off a shot with his blaster before going down. Although Atton was able to deflect the shot, the sheer force of the blast from the powerful blaster was enough to knock the saber out of his right hand. With no time left before the rest of the troopers caught up to him. Atton was forced to dive behind one of the barriers with no time to retrieve his weapon. Fortunately, the thrown saber was still spinning above and he was able to call it back into his hand.
Down to one lightsaber, and still eleven troopers left to take out, if he was counting right. They were closing fast, and these ones had the heavier blasters that would be difficult to deflect. He deactivated his lightsaber as an idea came to him.
Atton began to focus again, this time gathering much more of his strength. Once again, he waited until the enemy was nearly upon him before bursting out and launching a powerful Force Push with both hands, sending the entire group of troopers tumbling backwards several feet. Wasting no time, the Jedi leaped up to where the heavy blaster was mounted. The weapon was primed but Atton was guessing they were under orders to capture rather than kill as the troopers hadn't fired it. Their loss...
As the down troopers tried to scramble to their feet, Atton unleashed a torrent of blaster fire from the turret, shredding most of the troopers before they could even get back to their feet. Not the most civilized way to get the job done, but it did the trick and soon there were no troopers left alive at this particular checkpoint.
He heaved a sigh as the blaster cooled down."So uncivilized..."
*Satisfied that the job had been done, Atton hopped off the platform where the turret was mounted, putting his lightsaber back on his belt and going to retrieve the one he had dropped and clipping that one back onto his belt as well. Hopefully Thea got here with that speeder before too long. Atton was guessing it wouldn't take long for more troopers to show up once they realized that one of their checkpoints was taken out. Unless one of the soldiers had radioed for backup before going down...*
"Come on Thea, hurry it up..."

mma...jus resst ma eyes a mom... *Sin's eyes flutter, and her pauses become longer between words. She didn't even notice Tanara's hand placed over her. It was far too quickly the young woman was passed right out on the bed. Soon the exhaustion and drunkenness take her to a deep slumber that wouldn't be roused til morning.
Light was now streaming through the window's shutters, Sin groans softly, she hadn't opened her eyes, her head hurt. She couldn't remember where she was or how she'd gotten here. She frowns, realizing she was in bed, but she wasn't alone. She was scared to open her eyes or move. She felt that she was cuddled up behind someone, she felt the backside pressed in against her, and realized her arm was drapped over the person's waist, curled up to each other apparently spooned together. What happened last night? Where was she? She remembered drinking with Tanara. That thought lead to the realization she was snuggled up to a woman. The woman in front of her had taken that moment to stir a little bit, causing the Tanara's lekku to brush up against her lips gently. She gasps softly, jumping a bit.
It was at that moment also she heard a comlink going off and Adi's voice emit from it. Code Red? They had codes? Drills? They had drills? She bolted upright. First order? Sithspit. UGH. Her head pounded. Sitting up that quick was not a good idea. She groans softly. But she leaned over the Twi'lek woman. She reached out and gave her shoulder a gently shake to make sure she was awake. Trying to will her cheeks to stop blushing, hoping that what happened wasn't realized by Tanara.*Tanara... We gotta move. Wake up. Tanara. ----------------------------Tanara's Dream---------------------------------------She heard a voice calling to her. She heard the distant chirping of birds. What? She opened her eyes. She was in the courtyard of the enclave on Endor. All her friends were around her, sitting and listening to someone. What was going on? Who was it speaking to them? She tried to ask her friends, but no words came out of her mouth. They didn't even seem to notice she was there. Why was this happening? She turned her head to follow the locked gazes of her friends. The speaker was standing a few feet away from them, wearing a dark cloak, and facing away from them.“Emotion, yet peace. Ignorance, yet knowledge. Passion, yet serenity. Chaos, yet harmony. Death, yet the Force. These are the words of the Jedi Code. There have been many revisions throughout history, but they have all stayed true to the meaning of these words.”The speaker fell silent for a moment, as though lost in thought. She looked back at her friends. They did not seem to notice the pause. Their attention was fixed upon the speaker, listening intently.“The first tenant is perhaps one of the greatest misunderstandings by both the Republic and the Sith. In the more recent revision of the code, it says: There is no emotion, there is peace. To the galaxy at large, it appears that the first tenant of the Jedi Code requires Jedi to rid themselves of emotion, of feeling. As if they must become unfeeling automatons. It is unfortunate that most see Jedi that way. In truth, we do not deny our emotions, or pretend that they don’t exist. Instead, we explore our feelings, come to confront them and ultimately understand them. In doing so, we allow ourselves to put emotion aside and do not let them rule over us, granting us peace. It is only when we have achieved this peace that we truly become Jedi.”A surge of pain. Everything suddenly spun wildly around her for a moment. She was no longer on Endor. The grass beneath her changed to a metallic floor. She was on some kind of space station now. Her friends were gone, replaced by some kind of strange stone structure, with what appeared to be stasis pods of some sort attached to it. The speaker was still there, still facing away from her, only now staring out a large viewport into the emptiness of space."My friends. Thank you. You have come so far, and struggled through so much. You have made sacrifices and impossible choices. And yet, through it all, you stayed true. You persevered and triumphed. For you, the story does not end here. The page turns to begin the next chapter. You will have new challenges and threats to face. Stay true to yourselves and to each other, and you will not falter. But for me...This is how my story ends. This is my sacrifice. All my life has led to this, my final moments. Remember me. Remember my story. Remember also that the past no longer controls you. The future is yours. Shape it as you choose. Mold it as you desire. Seize the moments within your grasp."Who was the speaker talking to? The room was empty, save for a few dead bodies. What was going on? The space station seemly melted back to the Endor courtyard as the speaker continued.“The fifth and final tenant sets us free from the fear of our inevitable demise. We are not immortal, nor are we invincible. As such, we must always be ready for death, and not obsess nor be ruled by it. As a warrior in combat, and also in daily routine, it is easy to fail and fall, then rise up without distraction or attachment holding us back. Death however, is not a tragedy, but merely part of the life cycle. Without death, we could not have life. The Force, in us, will live on after we die..."Who was the speaker? Why couldn't she recognize the voice? Why didn't she remember any of this? The courtyard faded away back into the space station. She tried to move closer to the speaker, but couldn't. She was frozen in place. What was going on? "Please, do not let fear control you. Your life has only just begun. You will travel to places far beyond the horizon, and you will see wonders beyond your imagination. You will experience joy, love and happiness. You will learn more than what I could have ever taught you, and you will pass that knowledge on, as I have passed mine on to you. You are my living legacy, and I'm more proud of you than I could ever express. I know you will continue to grow into the woman you were always meant to be. I wish I could continue to protect you as I always have, but you have no need of me now. You have a new defender. Keep him close and cherish him. Never let go of that bond, or doubt the strength it provides."Finally, the speaker turned around, revealing his face, the crimson hue of his skin, and the green and blue colours of his eyes. The speaker began walking towards her and the artifact, though he didn't seem aware that she was in front of him."What I do now, I do for you, Tanara. I do it for you, Asha. I cannot promise there will be no more pain. I cannot promise you will not experience loss or sorrow. I cannot shield you from what may come. I can only remove the thorns of the past."She felt her heart drop as she was suddenly filled with a sense of dread and foreboding. She realized what was about to happen. She had to stop him. She had to prevent it from happening! She railed against her helplessness and inability to move or speak. Suddenly, the speaker turned his face to look directly into her eyes. He smiled warmly."The Force will be with you, and it will serve you. Always. Farewell."She screamed and fought against the paralysis that kept her trapped. She had to stop him. She needed to stop him! She couldn't let him do this! The speaker placed his hand on the artifact. Everything went white."Tanara...." The bright light was suddenly replaced by darkness. She felt something gently shake her shoulder."We gotta move..." No...she couldn't move...she couldn't prevent it. She couldn't stop it. He was gone."Wake up Tanara..." ---------------------------------------------------------------She groggily opened her eyes. She was in bed, in her room at the inn. Sinina was beside her, trying to wake her up. She gently rolled over to look up at the Echani woman."Wha? What's going on Sin? Why're you in such a hurry?"She noticed the reddish tint on her cheeks, as though she was embarrassed. Then she realized why. The Echani probably had never shared a bed with anyone before. Poor girl. Well, Tanara wouldn't embarrass her further by pointing it out. Instead, she waited for her to explain why she was in a rush to leave.

Loki's eyes followed the cuffs as they landed at his feet, he smiled his fangs bared. "You have no idea who I am do you?" Loki said quietly to the Death Troopers, his smile was sickly he was angry, the Darkside radiated from him, his sense of self anger now had a direction. The First Order had found them then he would send a message. "Tell me does your armor have holo transmitter ability? To show what is before you to your superiors?" Loki said leaning down and picking up the cuffs still smiling, he looked back at Zalor and winked as he slipped the cuff around his wrists and locked them in place. Loki heard Anna's message in his mind and inwardly his smile glowed, he sent positive emotion back to her and kept his sneer at the Deathroopers.

lokiThe cockiness was gone again, sudden fear in the two men. The private looked at the sergeant, who gave the slightest nod, both rifles quickly leapt up, set to stun, and the two men pulled the triggers, before stepping forwards to seize the body as it fell - never even thinking to check the effect of the blasters or to even wait to see if they hit. Impetuous behaviour could be the end of a man. ----- @atton The screams of the various Troopers quickly brought reinforcements, not death troopers, but Special Operatives. Dressed in extremely light and durable armour, they carried a collection of Blaster rifles. Notably, each of the twelve special operatives - two full squads - wore a cortosis alloy Manica, designed to block a lightsaber in hand to hand - and carried cortosis alloy swords - they had known they would be hunting Jedi. The leader had already called up to command, his helmet crackling. "Commodore, it's slaughter down here - we need full firing permission!" Yularen's cold voice chimed in over the speakers of every troop on the planet. "Very well, you may shoot to kill." The operatives raced down the street, closing the distance fast. Nine of them laid down rough covering fire as they ran, making up for shooting on the run with bursts of automatic fire from their light repeater rifles, and the other three drew their blades and light sidearm, racing to meet the Jedi in the terrible crash of hand to hand combat. They may not be trained in Jedi forms or precognition - but these were commandos, and they were deadly in all forms of combat.

When the Deathtroopers arrived, quicker than Zalor had anticipated, his first instinct was to Force Push them against the wall and engage them head on. However, he resisted this urge and waited a few seconds to see what would happen, his lightsaber not leaving his hand, despite the troopers demands for him to do so.
Zalor's patience was rewarded when Loki stepped forward calmly, picked up the cuffs thrown at his feet and began to engage the two Deathtroopers in conversation. Zalor half expected the Zabrak warrior to beat him to the punch and flat-out tear the two Deathtroopers where they stood. This behavior surprised Zalor - and it gave him further proof that Loki was no longer the Sith warrior full of blinding rage that he once was, a stark contrast to the clone of Loki they had fought only moments ago.
Okay, Loki - what are you up to? Zalor thought quietly to himself as Loki stared down the two Deathtroopers, who were both oddly calm considering how much shorter and smaller than Loki they were. He figured any normal First Order grunt would be terrified by the sight of him.
Then he heard Loki speak, then turn back to Zalor and wink at him, and he immediately realized how short the two Deathtroopers' lifespans were about to become. Loki's approach may have been more tempered and controlled than it would've been in the past, but there was now no doubt in Zalor's mind of Loki's intentions. Whatever was about to happen to them would be brief, fortunately for them.
Zalor chose to remain on guard, his lightsaber raised to a Soresu position, just in case. So far, the two Deathtroopers had elected to ignore Zalor, and he was fine with Loki commanding their attention for the time being.
However, another small disturbance in the Force and an increase in the sickness to his stomach told him that other First Order assets in Theed had just made the connection between Zalor and the small attack on Jarrak Base during the Battle of Dantooine. Eventually, they would've recognized Zalor as the Jedi that had almost single-handedly defeated a small battalion of their comrades, and he would be a target. Zalor, Tanara, Sinina, R2-D4, his droid - would all eventually become targets. He needed to get them off the planet. It was time to leave Naboo.
Zalor suddenly had a mind to hail Artoo and alert them and the Ja'raak Inn employees to the First Order's presence, but reaching for his comlink would surely catch the attention of any First Order troops monitoring him. He decided to hold his defensive position and let the scene before him play out.

*Sin hadn't gotten up completely just sat up, and tried to wake her. So when Tanara rolled she brushed up against her again, causing her blushes to be renewed. She bites her lip softly, momentarily getting distracted by peering over the woman laying next to her. She shakes her head gently.*
Adi, just sent a message. Something about Code Red. The First Order looking for us all. We gotta go. Get to the Villa.
*She sits up further, gathering items that had come off or out of her utility belt she'd passed out still wearing, doing anything she could to avoid the gaze of the Twi'lek woman who had multiple times mentoned a Fiancee and here she apparently slept all night with her. She groans softly as she grabbed at her head, which felt like there was a heard of bantha trampling through it.*
Sorry, I.. um.. yea.. we need to see if anyones still here. Get moving...
*She wished the room would stop spinning. She wished she could sleep another 4 hours or more. She wished she stop thinking about this Twi'lek she apparently spooned for how many hours? No less why the first order was here. Was it the room spinning or the hundreds of thoughts going through her head to rapidly for her to focus.*

@atton The screams of the various Troopers quickly brought reinforcements, not death troopers, but Special Operatives. *Atton hadn't expected to remain alone for long, and he quickly ducked back behind one of the barricades as a hail of blaster fire came in. This time, the shots being fired at him were most definitely not stun blasts. Heaving a sigh, he focused his energy once more, planning to once again make a break for it.*"Huh. Must've made 'em angry..." *Peering above the barricade for a second, he saw not only the troopers armed with heavy blasters. All were carrying what looked like large shields and even a few were drawing swords. Swords? Really?*"You have got to be kidding..." *It wouldn't be long before they swarmed him. Atton could handle a few sword fighters, but not while the rest of the troopers were peppering him with blaster fire. They were the ones that needed to be taken out first.
Knowing he couldn't stand his ground, he once again focused and bolted from cover, away from the barricades of the checkpoint and taking cover from the hail of blaster fire behind the same house he had hid behind the first time. The bodies of the troopers he had dispatched earlier were still there, their weapons still laying on the ground where they had dropped. He could hear the footsteps of the lead troopers drawing quickly closer. He wouldn't be able to engage them for long before being shot to pieces by the rest. Plus he still wasn't sure if those big shield things would resist his lightsabers or not. Even if they didn't, those defenses would be difficult to penetrate.
Looking around at the fallen troopers, he started to get an idea upon laying his eyes on some of the heavier blasters some of them had been carrying. He summoned one into his hands and quickly set the blaster to maximum power. He knew he wouldn't be able to get off very many shots with it, as the trooper had fired a few already before being cut down, and the sheer weight of the weapon prevented him from being able to use his lightsabers.
Except he didn't actually plan to start shooting.
Knowing he would need a few more seconds at least, he took off running down the back alley behind the houses, blaster shots whizzing by as he was briefly exposed to the trooper's line of sight. Several shots were close enough for him to feel the brief flashes of heat as they missed by mere inches. After passing by a few of the houses, he ducked behind one and set to work on the blaster he was carrying. Wasting no time, he started to mess with the safeties on the rifle, the ones that normally kept the power cell from overloading. A few seconds later, and the safeties were disabled and the cell was already starting to heat up. Hopefully there was enough energy left in it to do some damage.
The lead troopers were closing fast, but Atton didn't wait for them to come to him. Instead, he leaped onto the roof of the dwelling and took off once more, this time back towards the checkpoint. As he sprinted along the roof, he saw the troopers running towards him and raising their blasters.
As he jumped, he hurled the rapidly overloading blaster towards the troopers bringing up the rear. They managed to get off a few shots at the Jedi just before the blaster hit the ground and promptly exploded. The blast wasn't that large, but it still did what Atton was hoping it would do: cause them to flinch and stop shooting. The two troopers closest to the blast were forced to drop their shields as well. As soon as he hit the roof of the next house, he turned and jumped down, taking one lightsaber off of his belt and activating it. Upon landing, he quickly dispatched the trooper closest to him before he could pick up his shield. He couldn't get to the second one before he picked up his shield, though, and to Atton's dismay, it blocked his lightsaber without taking a scratch.
Thinking quickly, Atton summoned the first trooper's shield to him, catching it with his left hand. He was barely able to move it into position before the trooper opened fire. He lashed out with his lightsaber and cleaved the barrel of the trooper's blaster clean off. Focusing his energy, he then sent a Force Push at the trooper, sending him flying straight back into his comrade, knocking him to the ground. Atton started running again, the shield he had picked up stopping the blaster shots that his lightsaber didn't get to.
Still, now the problem was he was facing eight troopers all unloading massive amounts of blaster fire on him and there were still the three others carrying their swords. He was in danger of overtaxing his power if he kept this up, but there weren't many options left to him at present. The shield, despite its resistance to his lightsaber, probably wouldn't last too much longer under this kind of sustained fire. He had to do something, and fast. As the eight continued to shoot, he was also aware of the other three closing as well...
There was no other choice. Atton gathered his strength once again, until the Force was swirling around him. The troopers were forming a semicircle around him, blasters raised. His back was literally against the wall now. They had stopped shooting for the moment, but they could clearly see the shield he was holding was close to failing. He knew what was coming next, they'd order him to surrender or they'd shoot to kill. But there was no way he was going to surrender. He had promised to train Thea, to help her harness her gift. He wasn't about to waste the second chance he had been given rotting in a First Order detention block or whatever the hell they had in store for anyone they captured. Nor did he intend to die here.*I am one with the Force...*He took a deep breath, feeling the Force swirl around him, ready to unleash an attack.*...the Force is with me...*Atton slowly stood up, dropping the shield and his lightsaber, the cyan blade deactivating as it hit the ground. He still had the green one on his belt, but made no move to grab it at this time. He raised his hands as if surrendering...*...and I am one with the Force...*As one of the troopers moved in to begin to take him into custody, Atton unleashed the most powerful attack he was capable of, a Force Wave that sent all eight troopers flying backwards. Some of them crashed into the houses across the street, smacking itno the sides, or a few crashed right through the front windows. The blast took a lot out of him, but he still had just enough left to boost his speed with the Force once more. Retrieving his lightsaber off of the ground, he activated the cyan blade and charged.
Six troopers were slain before they could get up. The remaining two were able to scramble to their feet, but one wasn't able to get his blaster ready in time before Atton was on him, and he fell to the ground as well. Without missing a beat, Atton threw his lightsaber at the last trooper, who had managed to scramble to his feet. Naturally, he raised his shield to block the weapon, which clattered harmlessly to the ground. Except that split second was all Atton needed to close the distance, as he had started running towards the trooper as soon as he had thrown his lightsaber. As the trooper lowered his shield to try and get a shot off, a green lightsaber blade sliced the blaster in half.
However, instead of cowering or running, the trooper simply raised his shield and smacked the Jedi with it, knocking him to the ground. Gasping, Atton rolled over to avoid a second strike and quickly scrambled to his feet, saber in hand once again. The trooper then drew his sword, and the three others who had trailed behind the action began to close as well, swords and shields raised. Now Atton was facing four opponents in melee. The troopers moved quickly to surround him, swords raised and ready to strike.
Atton raised his saber and smirked.*"Now it's a party..." *The troopers struck all at once, but Atton was ready for it. Before they closed, the Jedi leaped high in the air, doing a backflip and landing behind them. He parried the strikes of the first trooper, before moving in to meet the second one's blade as well. As they fought, Atton continued to quickly move backwards. Each time the troopers moved to surround him, he would find a way to slip around or through them. Keeping a defensive posture, he was able to effectively and efficiently block every strike thrown at him. It was one of the strengths of the Soresu lightsaber form of combat: unparalleled defensiveness and resilience in combat. The weaknesses of the form, however, were also apparent. With four opponents all attacking at once, he simply didn't have the time to launch any attacks of his own, as each movement was to defend. He'd certainly be able to hold his own, but there wasn't a way for him to win if he couldn't find a way to even the playing field. Plus, he would eventually tire out if the fight went on too long, and he had already exerted himself quite a bit.
The fight slowly moved back to where it had first begun by the checkpoint. As they neared it, Atton noticed the mounted blaster was still there. He could probably use it again, but there was the question of whether or not it would be effective at all.
It didn't matter at this point. Atton was running out of time, options and most importantly, energy. He needed to act, and quickly. Ducking another swipe of a trooper's blade, he sent a Force push at his attackers, nowhere near as powerful as the blast he had unleashed earlier, but still enough to knock them off balance. It impacted three of the troopers and caused them to stumble back, but one wasn't affected at all. As Atton moved away, the trooper charged forwards. It was at this time that Atton quickly switched tactics. With the Force, he grabbed the trooper's shield and attempted to wrest it from his grasp. While he wasn't able to pull it free, it did cause the trooper to lose his balance, and that was all Atton needed. As the trooper stumbled, Atton lunged forwards, his saber striking the armor's weak point where the helmet met the neck. The now headless trooper crumpled to the ground.
Without hesitating, he turned and ran back for the turret, just as the other three troopers were charging once more. Knowing he had just seconds, he leaped up to the platform and grabbed the gun, pulling the trigger and aiming it at the oncoming soldiers. They quickly scattered but one wasn't fast enough and was knocked to the ground by the impact of the blaster's shots. The other two took flanking positions though, and Atton couldn't turn the gun fast enough to track them as they charged forwards, each coming from a different direction.
There was no other option but to abandon the gun, and he was able to dive off the platorm before the two troopers cut him in half. He quickly charged towards the fallen trooper, who was just starting to climb to his feet. Atton quickly brought his lightsaber down and ended the trooper's life.
Now there was just two left, and that was much more manageable than four. Still, Atton was running out of tricks, and his Force reserves were now very low. He wouldn't be able to muster much more in the way of Force attacks without dangerously weakening himself.
Looking up, he saw both troopers once again charging at him, their cries of fury echoing through their helmets. Their shields were raised and their swords ready to strike as they charged. Atton resumed his defensive stance and met the two of them in combat. Sword met lightsaber, and sparks flew with each blow parried. Both troopers were attacking much more ferociously now, putting all their strength behind their attacks, perhaps driven by the loss of their comrades in arms. Atton, for his part, remained in his defensive shell, never presenting an opening and never overextending himself. Fighting two opponents was a lot simpler than fighting four, though with their shields up, he wasn't finding much room to strike back. Any openings he saw were quickly blocked off.
Things changed when the troopers decided to change tactics. Instead of attacking with their swords, they simply charged at him, shields raised. The Jedi stumbled backwards and ultimately lost his balance, falling onto his back with a grunt. He immediately tried to grab onto the leg of one of the troopers and wrenched as hard as he could. Just as he did this, the blade of the other trooper came stabbing down towards his face. Atton just barely managed to turn his head to the side to avoid being skewered. As soon as he scrambled to his feet though, the blade came swinging at him again, and the Jedi couldn't block it in time. Although he managed avoid being beheaded, he winced in pain as the blade cut diagonally across his face, just barely missing his right eye. Stumbling backwards, he quickly recovered and raised his weapon, able to deflect the next strike. As the trooper swung a third time, Atton intercepted it, this time catching the trooper's wrist with the blade of his lightsaber, cleaving it clean off. The trooper's momentum from the swing still carried him forwards and Atton used that to run him through from behind.
Now there was just one trooper left, and he quickly charged at Atton, charging at him with his shield raised and attempting to tackle him again. This time, Atton was ready for it and was able to leap out of the way. He quickly recovered and got set again as the trooper readied for another charge. Before he did, Atton reached out with the Force once again. As the trooper charged forwards, the Jedi wrenched on his shield with the Force, pulling the trooper off balance. Sidestepping the stumbling trooper, Atton brought his saber down one last time and the trooper collapsed to the ground, lifeless.
Now breathing very heavily and bleeding from the wound on his face, Atton started running back down the block, retrieving his fallen lightsaber. This time, he ducked down in the alleyway and slumped to the ground, hoping this time he would have some kind of reprieve before the next attack. Or that Thea came with the speeder...*

With the radio silence of a full unit of special forces, the ISB changed tactics. Rather than send in more men, the quickly began to cordon off the area, setting up more checkpoints and barricades.
Then the first TIE Fighter screamed overhead. Though it couldn't see Atton, it unleashed a barrage of Blaster fire into the houses in that block, obliterating them. Then a TIE Bomber dropped a proton bomb maybe six houses down from Atton's position.
They were going to drive him out by reducing and entire neighbourhood, along with the inhabitants, to a smouldering pile of rubble.
As the ordinance kept falling in a very deliberate, controlled fashion, the soldiers slowly pushed their cordon in. Atton would have a chance to escape if he was inventive, but he'd have to act fast.

[Thea looked around again and then back at Atton. Going back to the Villa was not a big problem, except it was. Thea looked around the corner with him and suddenly tensed. There were troops everywhere. When he told her to go get the speeder, she froze for what seemed like an eternity. He wanted her to go alone? Did he not remember that the last time she was alone, she was kidnapped? Shaking the memory away, she knew she had to get out of here somehow. Why she didn't remember the speeder in the first place baffled her. Thea nodded and took off in a sprint back towards her house. She was careful to keep her head down and not look anyone in the eye. She seemed to blend in to any troops she saw except one. A male trooper grabbed her by her arm, Something happened to her, It was like she was in that dark hole again. She wasn't going back there. Thea spotted a branch on the ground by the side of the road. She quickly bent down to grab it and swung upwards, meaning to smack him in the face with it. She didn't realize how long it was and it only made it to his groin. The man doubled over in pain and Thea took the branch and smacked him over the back of the head. Once he slumped over, she dropped the branch. "Sorry! I am so sorry!" Thea ran the final two blocks to her house and smiled that the speeder was still there. The only bad side was there were troopers inside her house. This was not going to be easy. She made her way closer, trying to listen to them inside. They seemed to be preoccupied. She hunched down and grabbed the speeder. She put it in neutral and pushed it down the road a bit. She didn't want those troopers to hear it starting and come outside. Once she felt like she was a safe distance away, she hopped in and started it. Taking off, she rushed through the streets and back to Atton. Once she got there, she was baffled by the site. Stopping the speeder, she got out and looked around. "A little overboard don't you think?" It pained her to see people hurt but she knew that given the chance, they would have most likely killed them all. That was when she saw his face. She gasped and ran over to him, putting her hand behind his head to tilt it towards her so she could look at it. "Let's get out of here and get you cleaned up."

*Sin hadn't gotten up completely just sat up, and tried to wake her. So when Tanara rolled she brushed up against her again, causing her blushes to be renewed. She bites her lip softly, momentarily getting distracted by peering over the woman laying next to her. She shakes her head gently.*Adi, just sent a message. She groans softly as she grabbed at her head, which felt like there was a heard of bantha trampling through it.*Sorry, I.. um.. yea.. we need to see if anyones still here. Get moving... *She wished the room would stop spinning. She wished she could sleep another 4 hours or more. She wished she stop thinking about this Twi'lek she apparently spooned for how many hours? No less why the first order was here. Was it the room spinning or the hundreds of thoughts going through her head to rapidly for her to focus.* She stopped listening after the echani said The First Order. Immediately, the image of the decimated Dantooine popped back into her mind, all the devastation and destruction that had befallen her homeworld. She couldn't let that happen here too. The Twi'lek attempted to rise out of bed, but was brought to a halt by the sudden pounding in her head. Clearly that one bottle of water had not been enough. Unfortunately, they didn't have time for hangovers. She reached into her bag and pulled out the last two bacta vials. "Hold still, this should help a little bit."She unceremoniously stabbed the other woman in the arm with the needle and injected the contents of the small vial directly into her bloodstream. She then did the same for herself. It wouldn't be enough to completely get rid of the hangover, but at the very least it would make it more manageable. She then returned the vials to her bag, slung it over her shoulder and started moving towards the door.

She gasped and ran over to him, putting her hand behind his head to tilt it towards her so she could look at it. "Let's get out of here and get you cleaned up." *Atton breathed a sigh of relief when Thea brought the speeder, and couldn't help but smirk at her remark about going overboard. He shook his head at this, as she didn't know the half of it. As for getting out of here and getting cleaned up, he was all for that, especially if it gave him an opportunity to rest up. He had a feeling that even if they made it to the villa without further incident, there'd probably be more trouble on the way before too long. Hopefully Adi had a plan...
As they climbed into the speeder, Atton reached out and summoned another one of the fallen trooper's blaster into his hand and carried it with him. Might not hurt to have some firepower with them in case the enemy decided to give chase. Letting Thea handle the controls, he climbed into the passenger seat and hefted the weapon, setting it to kill, rather than stun.
It was just as Thea was starting the engine that he heard the unmistakable sound of a TIE fighter. He didn't even bother to turn to look, knowing full well what this meant. Death from above..."We gotta go, Thea! Punch it! Hurry!" *Only when the speeder lurched forwards did Atton turn around to see the TIE's closing in, laying waste to the neighborhood where they'd been just seconds before. He prayed silently that they'd focus on the ground there and not notice the speeder slipping away from the scene. Atton checked his datapad, and saw that there were still one or two unguarded routes out of Theed. Using the map, he directed Thea to drive in that direction, hopefully slipping out of the city before any more routes were blocked...*

*Sin was so concerned with gathering her things and avoiding Tanara's gaze she didn't notice the needle, but jumps when it injects into her. She really hated needles. She meeps softly and covered her mouth. She looked down at her arm staring at the needle in her arm. She gasps softly then points at it.*
Oh...I.. um.. Sorry for passing out here...
*She stopped suddenly, her body went entirely rigid. She heard a noise, one she remembered from Etti. Her head twists around suddenly as she looks towards the exit of the room, or window if their room had one. She whispers softly.*
No...they wouldn't...
*She felt the distance rumbles, and knew that her whispered wish was not to be answered. For a moment, she felt sadness. But deep inside of her, it was like something snapped. Broke. This was her home. These were her people. She'd lived her since she was 6. She grew up, played, got in trouble here. Had friends. Her silver eyes closed as her thoughts fell to her Guardians, praying they were okay. Before her eyes even opened, the red runes were blazing upon her skin again, wordlessly she was up off the bed. Curses in both Dathmiri, and Mando'a left her mouth as she started running straight at the door, before even getting there she pushed at it bursting through it like it wasn't even there. She didn't even notice, or slow down as she ran right past Raven outside it, or the look of horror across her face as she would sense a rage far worse then when the girl had thought Adi killed Loki.
She got outside and looked at the TIE's passing overhead, unawares that once again a spell was being uttered from her lips, clouds began gathering unnaturally fast, dark clouds. Storm clouds. Fueled by the Dathmorian words leaving her lips. The TIE's may get a second pass. But when her spell reached its finish, she vowed they wouldn't survive their third.*

"They wouldn't...."
She felt the impact of the detonations a fraction of a second before she heard it. The First Order was already bombing the city. The war had officially been brought to Naboo. There hadn't even been any warning of an attack coming. What had brought them specifically to Naboo? A question that she would have to figure out later. As she and Sin left her room, she was greeted by the blue and white astromech droid. She gently placed her hand on it's dome for a moment as she moved past it to the front counter.
"You and I both know Zalor will be fine. We've been in tighter situations than this."
She said this with confidence that she lacked internally. Had they really been in worse situations? Even the brief encounter on Dantooine hadn't really been that bad. She shook her head as she dropped the room keycards on the counter. Now was not the time for idle speculation. She had to focus on getting out of Theed, with who knew how many stormtroopers already on the ground. Of course, the fact that the First Order TIE Fighters were bombing the city was also a problem. They would have a hell of a time trying to escape if the entire city was leveled.
"Artoo, scan the area, I need to know what we're dealing with."
She followed the dark skinned Echani out of the inn, noting the strange runes glowing on her skin. Even with her connection to the Force currently suppressed, the Twi'lek could feel the waves of anger and hatred rolling off of her. If she had thought that Sin had been angry the night before, that was nothing compared to now. It was almost like she was an entirely different being, one of made of pure rage. Short of knocking her unconscious, Tanara doubted there was anything she could do right now to dispel that hatred. Another problem she would have to deal with later. Unfortunately, that meant she would be unable to open herself up to the Force for the time being. The sudden immense strength of Sin's dark side presence would only serve to make her too nauseous to do anything if she tried to draw on the Force. She would have to rely on Artoo's scanners, and her mercenary training.
As she waited for Artoo's scan to complete, she drew her two blasters and moved to the corner of the street, peering around the corner. It was clear of hostiles for the moment, but she knew that would soon change. Most citizens would be hiding in their homes or inside buildings, or fleeing to shelter. The fact that neither she nor Sin were attempting to hide from the TIEs would quickly alert the fighters to their presence. And once they reported their position, the troopers would come en masse.

Sin's actions were brave, and her resolve fearsome. Unfortunately, they were also a mistake. Stormtroopers - even the most elite - were expendable. TIE Fighters and pilots were considerably more expensive to produce and train, and the ISB had better things to do with their budget than replace TIEs.
The sad irony was that Sin's attempts to save life would cost far more lives. High in space, decisions were being made swiftly, and nobody knew why they had lost TIE Fighters, they didn't just fall from the sky, after all. The idea of the force never crossed their minds, and instead the most obvious choice was chosen.
The Naboo were shooting back.
Whether they had hidden missile depots or they'd used the sudden storm to shelter Naboo Fighters no one knew, but they did know such action by a backwards planet of xeno-co-existing cowards would not be tolerated.
In mere minutes Sin would see the result of her actions. The thick green streaks of energy pounder down from orbit into two sectors on the opposite side of the city, as well as into the Royal Palace and the Royal hangers. The high powered battleship turbo lasers hit their target repeatedly, and then the Wayward Sons would see a great flash of green light, and a very noticeable haze of heat in the air, before they were hit by a great rush of sound - the sound of a massive explosion. Finally, the dust would rise into the air, and Sin wouldn't even need to go near the region to understand the devastation that had been done to Theed.
After what would seem like an age of bombardment, it stopped, and a simple message was broadcasted over every open net on the planet.
"Any resistance by the people of Naboo will not be tolerated. This is your first, and final, warning."
Finally, the scream of TIE Fighters would resume as they redeployed over the city, and soon dozens of squads would be once again racing down the streets of Theed - Sin and the Wayward Sons would need to move fast.

*Sin watched as lightning strikes from the storm clouds, irregular, this storm wasn't naturally occuring. It struck in such a ways that the bolts of lightning would intersect TIE's paths, sending high amounts of electricity to surge through them, overloading systems. One she noticed its Solar panel blew out. The numbers seemed to dwindle.
She felt the hair on the back of her neck stand on end, she turned, as if in slow motion, just in time to watch Orbital strikes rain down onto the Royal Palace, again. And again. She stared in horror, sinking to her knees. Tears streamed down the young woman's face. Her fists clenched, her eyes closing, it felt like someone had just ripped her heart from her chest and tore it in two.*
Daddy...No...
*The man who raised her worked in the Palace. Sure she'd gave him a hard time, had been stubborn all her life, her views had vastly differed from him. But he was there to pick her up whenever she fell, always looked after her even though she wasn't born of his blood. She opens her eyes again, this time the red runic 'eyes' 'opened' as well. She didn't know who ordered this, but she wasn't going to stop until his heart was dead and cold in her hands. Grief and anger was comsuming her every thought.
The young woman looked around, grabbing her saber, she gets up and runs towards the nearest visible death trooper. When she reaches it, the snap hiss rings in the street, the blade sweeping in an arc as she makes to cut the head of it clean off. She didn't stop fully, she would search for a new target, looking left then right. Her goal now to find a ship, one not wrecked by the strikes.*

She couldn't believe it. They actually launched an orbital strike against the city. She watched helplessly as the laser blasts struck the city. WHY?! Did they level half the city in retaliation for the lost TIEs? How could they possibly be so monstrous? Not even the Empire was that evil, and they blew up Alderaan just to make a point. The sudden destruction and mass loss of life probably would've driven her to her knees if she hadn't been suppressing her connection to the Force. She had to continue to maintain control over herself if she was gonna get out of Theed. It was then that she looked over at Sin. Poor girl had sunk to the ground in despair. Her heart went out to her, knowing exactly the pain she was feeling. It was, after all, only a few days after she had witnessed first hand the devastation of Dantooine. There was no way she could let that happen here too.
She watched as the despair swiftly morphed into rage. She had been consumed by it. Tanara doubted that she even knew what she was doing anymore. She probably wouldn't be able to get her to calm down, or reason with her. Her only hope of getting them both out of Theed alive and well, was to somehow redirect that rage. This would prove challenging. The Twi'lek moved from the street corner to follow behind the dark skinned woman.
"Sin! Wait up!"
She made no effort to physically stop the other woman. The last thing she needed was for that rage to be turned onto her. Instead, she kept pace beside her. Hopefully there was still some part of her that would respond to her from beneath all that anger and pain.
"If we're gonna take the fight to them, we'll need Adi and the others, and a ship. This is your city, you know it best. Where would the First Order most likely land their dropships?"
