Johun bowed his head to Jessa.
I thank you in advance. My business actually is in orbit. So you fixing my ship would greatly aid me. Tell me? How did you end up on Ryloth?

She smiled and went over to his ship proceedingly to disassemble it and throwing parts this way and that without a mind to what they were or where they were going.
Surely one or two or three parts would land around Johun's location as she ravaged his ship for the issue in the power loss and some tweaking of the frame to make her fly again.
"I don't rightly remember, I just know I have been here for about 3 years now, wandering the outskirts of the city.."
She continued to search the crashed ship reaching in and tugging on somethings and then checking sturdability with others, surely not an advanced repairer however she knew how to get things done and workable again without a fault.
"How did you become a Jedi?"

Johun chuckles to himself at the parts strewn around. She may not have much finesse, but as long as she could fix the ship, it would be OK. Johun reached out with the Force to a few of the parts around him, and began circling them above his hand.
I was sent to the Corellian Academy when I was nine, to develop my talents with the use of the Force. I have been a Jedi ever since.
Johun closed his eyes, still, spinning the ship parts. He looked at her through the Force, judging her potential talents...

*The explosion from the grenade tossed a slaver into a wall, killing him instantly. Slowly the others began to withdraw further back into the cave to a more defensible position. Ellie clenched her jaw in anger, the turret she was using was doing nothing more then pushing the slavers into cover, not killing them. With a loud warning beep the turret signaled that it had overheated. Letting out a yell of anger, Ellie abandoned the turret and jumped off the side of the skiff. As she hit the ground she pulled out her lightsaber, the blue blade hummed to life and shone brightly in the cave. She knew in her current state it was a severe risk for what she was doing, but her anger drove her forward towards her enemies. With her remaining strength she charged the slavers, batting aside every blaster bolt that came to close.*
*She quickly closed in on the first slaver, wielding her over sized lightsaber like a broadsword, she brought it down on the slaver almost cleaving him in two length wise. Pivoting on her left foot, she swung the weapon in a broad arc that caught a Rodian across the chest. Her anger began to consume her, with each slaver she killed her mind slipped into more of a berserker state, everything within reach of her blade was quickly cut down, be it friend or foe, it didn't matter to her now.*
Worm reached out with his right hand, as if trying to stop the girl as she ran past him, but he was far too slow. While the soldiers around him stood in awe, Worm gave a simple hand gesture, ordering them to charge. They leapt from the speeder, firing as they marched forward behind the Jedi, trying to eliminate the now distracted slavers. They did not even bother trying to take them alive.

I finish chewing a bite of the tender meat as I consider Casey's words. A few months ago I would have referred her to someone else for training, but I wasn't a knight then. Krif, this kid had been searching to long for me shove him off onto someone else like some strange piece of trash. I shrug and swallow before answering, wondering how this would change the plans for a few days ahead.
Really? Most of the people I have met are cruel until someone teaches them to be kind, and then many still choose to be cruel, though they are often less cruel than they might have been otherwise. As for the other matter, done and done, you can start your learning by ditching the alcohol, it prevents you from functioning properly, and you can't help others if you need help yourself. There are better ways to relax than using mild toxins, to reduce your effectiveness. I suggest you eat something now, as it may be a while before you get another chance to eat, and it will reduce the side effects of the alcohol.
I turn back to my plate and continue my delicious meal, occasionally washing bits of it down with the shig in my cup. This was going to take some getting used to, I know had the responsibility to teach another being how to live right. Well I'd had a good example in Uncle Biron, I'd just have to remember his lessons and tie them into learning to use the force well. This would prove to be an interesting relationship and only time would tell where it would end up. Casey nodded softly at Mahir's first few words, then the rest of what he had said caught up, and she blinked, slightly stunned.
"I...really? Wow. Thank you. Thank you so much."
Casey dredged up an obscure piece of Jedi lore, one that she had learned from rumours, gathered during her search.
"So, uh, do I call you master now? Or do you prefer a different title, or what?"
Casey stared down into her drink as she spoke her questions, swirling the liquid around slowly. Its seductive smell called her back to it. She wanted to feel its sharp bite in her mouth, down her throat, feel the oblivion slip over her and blank out her mind again. In the more rational part o her brain, Casey knew that she was slowly loosing the battle with the destructive alcoholism that ran rampant through her entire species, a genetic and biological makeup that caused addiction, often lethally so in older members. It would be hard, but Casey did not come here expecting an easy life. Her jaw tightened, and she set the glass down firmly on the table, pushing it out of her reach.

With every slaver that fell her anger grew, finally after several long minutes of fighting her eyes fell on the last slaver. A male Zabrak stood before her, fear filling his eyes as raised his blaster in shaky hands. The Zabrak fired off two blaster bolts at Ellie, the first missed poorly from his hands shaking so bad, the second she easily batted out of the way. Before the slaver could get another shot out, Ellie raised her hand and grabbed the slavers throat with the force. The slaver choked for air as he was raised off the ground, in one quickly motion Ellie crushed the Zabraks windpipe and dropped him onto the floor.*
*The feeling of the Zabraks life force rushing from his body snapped Ellie back into reality. Her lightsaber slid from her hand and deactivated as it hit the floor. Ellie stared at the body of the Zabrak, her eyes widened in shock and fear. Her tired and trembling legs finally couldn't hold her anymore, slowly she sank down onto her knees and sat on her feet. She suddenly found it hard to talk when she spoke aloud to herself.*
"I, just killed somebody, out of anger."

When the Jedi collapsed, Alema'vrei ran over to help her, just in time to hear the muttered statement. The Twi'lek medic opened her mouth to respond, but no words came, so she just sat down next to the girl and placed an arm around her shoulders.
Meanwhile, Worm slowly disembarked from the smoking skiff just in time to wave a greeting to the other skiffs arriving with their reinforcements.
It's over. Collect these bodies and whatever intelligence you can get from them. Get the trucks down here to transport the bodies. Order headquarters to dispatch details to notify the families of our dead. I'll be taking a skiff and one pilot to take myself and a few of the wounded back to HQ.
While soldiers scrambled to carry out his orders, the disfigured remnant of a being stared at the young girl. The medic sensed his stare and looked at him, nodding. Worm grabbed a large, yellow skinned male who was helping to load the wounded and pointed at the girl. The soldier came over to the girl, and with impressive strength, scooped her up as one did a child. The medic grabbed the lightsaber and followed to the skiff, boarding after the soldier placed the human down. Once the wounded Twi'lek were loaded, Worm also boarded, sitting in the bow. The skiff sped away to their secretive headquarters located in the under city of Kala'uun.

"You may examine meeeee with some defuge, Jedi Johun..." She said as she continued working on his ship, now relatively pulling a part here and there with the force to her as sh began to piece the now in pieces part. now that she created a power source, one not likely that the jedi knew of, it only now required possibly the most important part of what the jedi had... The crystal from his lightsaber."I hate to asssk this buuuut, I need your crystal from your Ligggghtsabeeeer. And then we shall have you on your way." Once she acquired the crystal she would place it in its socket in the new and unfamiliar power source that she created that would last and give the ship a relatively powering source for about 12 days before the crystal would fracture and decentigrate.

My crystal? Hmmm...
Johun had to think about this. He had traveled far and sacrificed much for the permafrost crystal that was the heart of Vormund. There had to be another way.
How long would or can the crystal be used before it fails as a power source? I have spent many years searching for and finally finding my permafrost crystal on Hoth. It is not something I would part with or destroy on a whim.
Johun could tell Jessa had some spunk, asking for the heart of his saber. She also had some raw talent in the Force that could and should be developed....

Good luck in that venture I have been here for a few years and still haven't found one..." She said as she out reached her arm, head still hidden by the fuselage of the ship. "It will last exaactly 12 days... Exactly 12. No more and no less at its current available ouuut put."
She awaited for the last remaining piece for the converted starfighter's power source."It shouldn't be that much of a request, it's only a loan of your crystal for your way off of this planet." She then removed her head from the starfighter and now looked at him with her hands on her hips.

Well I suppose as long as I get it properly repaired in less than 12 days it should be fine...
Johun grabbed Vormund off of his right hip and levitated it above his right palm about 6 inches. Concetrating through the Force, Johun disassembled his lightsaber, removing the icy blue permafrost crystal. Once removed he reassembled the hilt, replacing it on his hip. He then levitated the crystal over to Jessa.
Tell me, have you any interest in becoming a Jedi? You seem quite adept with some basic Force abilities.

Save your thanks for when you've finished your trials, and I told you what to call me, though if you wish to strictly adhere to the old ways you could call me master, but I'm only a knight so it's a bit of a misnomer.I reach across the table and pick up the glass Casey had pushed away from herself, and tossed the contents into the gutter, before refilling it with the some of the shig I had been drinking, from the pitcher the waitress had left, and return the cup to her. before finishing my plate of food and my third glass of shig. I signal for the waitress to bring the bill, and use the claw on my little digit to pick greens from betwixt my teeth, as there didn't seem to be any tooth picks around.Do you have a personal transport? Because I'm afraid I don't have any passenger space.

She looked over to him saying that and then stuck her head back out of view while she put on the finishing touches."When you finish your mission and bring a bigger ship, cause I am not going to be able to fit into there with you... You do that come back here and we shall see." She said with a smile as she shut the hatch and smacked her hands together and then placing them on her hips twirling one as the cockpit opened as she used a minute amount of force to open it for him.

Or...
Johun climbed up into the cockpit, and looked right at Jessa.
You could meet me on Carida, in the Colonies Region. Use these landing codes.
Johun tossed Jessa a datachip.
And as far as a ship goes, go to the spaceport in Kala'uun. Talk to the Spaceport master. Mention my name. He may owe me a favor or two from some earlier time I spent on Ryloth. It probably won't be anything fancy, but it will be serviceable. Sound good?

"Oh, ok. That makes sense."
Casey nodded slowly. She shouldn't have expected the Jedi to accept just anyone. Trials did make a lot of sense. She reached out and took the glass of shig, sipping it slowly. She had never really cared for the drink, but at the moment, anything she could do to get her kind of alcohol would be welcome. Casey sat in silence, sipping the shig and pondering the future as Mahir finished the meal. She slipped a hand carefully into her pocket, and felt the credit chips that were still there. Carefully selecting one, she pulled it out and set it on the table in front of her.
"Have, like own? No. I've never had a ship of my own before. But I think I can afford another commercial flight somewhere. Why?"

I shrug, figures that the one time I don't have passenger space I need it. I pay the bill when the waitress comes over waitress comes over, and rise, making my way back onto the street as I respond to Casey's query.
Because I don't intend to teach you everything you need to know here on Ryloth, and my position prevents me from staying here even if I had intended to do so. Unfortunately you won't find a public transport to where I'm going, can you fly or do I need to get a bigger ship?
I begin walking towards the space port again, or more specifically a used spaceship lot he'd seen on the way out of the spaceport.

Under her armour, Casey unconsciously squeezed her wings tighter against her back. They were well hidden, but what if the Jedi had seen through her disguise. Casey rose tensely, and followed Mahir, leaving behind enough credits to cover her drink. Casey slowly relaxed herself, face turning slightly red when she realised what Mahir had really meant by his question.
"Well, I can fly some standard style ships, older fighters and stock light freighters mostly. I've never had any training on military fighters, and I doubt I know enough to fly a heavily modified ship."

Because he was looking for an emotional reaction from Casey he caught the quick flash of embarrassment, but he assumed it was related to Casey's piloting skills, or lack there of, and he thought no more of it, beyond making a mental note to get a bigger ship. Arriving on the lot Shihab looked through the listing of available ships, and inspected a few that caught his attention. Finally he settled on an old 3-Z, that was still a mostly stock ship. The sensor dish was borderline legal for a civilian ship, and there was an additional shield system installed. It's cargo hold was large enough to store the X-83 Shihab had flown in on, but it wouldn't be leaving the hold until we'd arrived on Carida... It would have to do, it was the only ship that looked like it would survive the trip at this point even without any complications. Shihab haggled with the sales rep, until he secured the ship for 20,000 republic credits, and signed the necessary forms. Then he told Casey they had a quick trip to take so they could pick up his fighter. All right, we've got to make a short stop at the spaceport to pick up my ride in before we can be on our way. If you have any personal effects to grab, meet me at bay 53, otherwise pick out a bunk and settle in.I turn and make my way into the cockpit and double check that all systems are functioning, before lifting off slowly, and floating over to the space port and landing in an adjacent bay, before calling a mechanical team to begin moving the X-83 into the cargo hold of the 3-Z.

Casey followed slightly behind Mahir, staying quiet. She turned recent events over in her mind. A lot had changed in her life very suddenly, and even though it was exactly what she wanted, everything had still come as a shock to Casey. Only partially paying attention, Casey waited as Mahir selected and haggled for a ship, being too focused inwards. She broke partially out of her contemplation when Mahir spoke. Gesturing to herself, Casey replied softly.
"No, just what you see. I don't own anything else."
Casey followed Mahir onto the ship, turning the opposite direction as he did. She moved back through the crew areas, and into the bunk farthest from both the boarding ramp, and the cockpit. On a ship of this size, this would allow for the greatest amount of privacy possible. Casey felt the ship lift off smoothly. The flight was a short one, and the landing as good as could be expected from a ship of this age. Poking at the control pad beside the door of her cabin, Casey figured out how to set a basic password on the door. She considered her actions for a moment, then made up her mind, enacting the security protocol. The door locked, and would lock again, every time it closed. The password was only a simple, 6-digit code, and Casey had no doubts that it would not that Mahir long to figure it out, if he was so inclined, but at the very least, it gave her at least the illusion of control. Sighing softly, Casey pulled at her armour, settling the plates into a slightly more comfortable position, and headed back towards the central cargo area.

As soon as the X-83 is secured in the cargo hold, and the tanks are topped off, I double check that Casey is still on board with a quick search in the force, and again I notice that there is something ... that seems off, no, something that is not what I'd expect; yet still I can not put a claw on what it is exactly. Shrugging, I tap on the ship's intercom and ask Casey to close the main boarding ramp as I warm up the sublight and repulsor drives. Then I lift off, angling the ship slightly upward, I gently ease in the throttle and begin a shallow climb up into the sky, seeking to avoid whatever conflict may remain in orbit, I fly to the other side of the planet from the conflict before entering orbit.
