TarisTaris was an urban planet in the fifth orbit of its star, located in the Taris system, within the Ojoster sector, of the Outer Rim Territories, in turn Taris was orbited by four moons, including Rogue. The term Tarisian was used to describe people and products from the planet, which took a millennium to build, after being settled by Humans colonist from unknown origins. Eventually Alien species settled or visited the city and before long the Republic took notice of the world and the planet's ecumenopolis quickly developed over a century of prosperity, and as a result the planet suffered from massive overpopulation. Once a galactic nexus that earned great wealth from its strategic position on hyperspace routes, Taris' importance declined with the discovery of improved trade routes, and the planet rapidly fell into decay. The remainder of the planet's history was wrought with civil disorder and social unrest. As it turned to industry as a means of compensation for its economic troubles, its oceans became polluted, eliminating the planet's main food source. After a century of the planet's ecosystem dying off, famine spread among the lower classes while the rich hoarded what few supplies remained. The resulting strife led to the Tarisian Civil War, the start of lasting prejudices between the Humanocentric Tarisian nobles and the largely alien underclass. The city became segmented, the lower classes were banned from living in the upper levels of Taris and the planet became the poster child of a economically dying world.
During the Mandalorian Wars, Taris served as a crucial rallying point for dissident Jedi who had decided to fight against the invading Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. As the lower classes were crushed beneath the rich, crime became rampant, and the Tarisian government did little in response. This caused Lhosan Industries, a mining company which employed half of the planet's lower class in its operation, to leave Taris. The millions left unemployed rioted against the government, kidnapping the planet's senator in the Galactic Senate as well as the local constable. This caused the local Jedi to leave Taris as well, leaving the planet in a state of chaos, as the war raged on around it.
By the time of the Jedi Civil War, order had been restored, but swoop gangs and crime still held sway over the Lower City. During the war, Taris was conquered by Darth Revan's Sith Empire, which quarantined the planet in an attempt to capture Jedi Bastila Shan. As the search continued fruitlessly, the Sith leader Darth Malak, ordered the bombardment of Taris, killing countless civilians. This act had huge political repercussions for the Sith and changed the tone of the rest of the war, showing Malak and the Sith's true colors, the desire to achieve victory at any cost.
Over the next few millennia the planet managed to rebuild and recover from its devastation, though never reaching the extent of its former glory. Similar to other ecumenopolies like Coruscant and Nar Shaddaa, the upper levels were safe and secure, inhabited by the wealthy, while the lower levels were frequently plagued by gang warfare and inhabited by thugs and the poor.
During the Great Galactic War, Taris had become the subject to both Jedi and Sith plans; while the Jedi wanted to rebuild the planet to prove to the people of the Republic that they were strong enough to recover from such a disaster, and with it raise morale, the Sith sought to foil their plans, to prove that the Republic couldn't recover from such a thing. Ultimately the Sith were victories, despite the Republic and Jedi's best efforts to defend the world.
By the time of the Galactic Civil War, much of the city had been rebuilt but never to the extent of it prior to the Jedi Civil War. However by that time, many of the planet's problems, that had plagued the city prior to the bombardment, including species and class oppression, had disappeared with Taris's destruction millennia prior. IlumIlum was an ice planet in the Unknown Regions, one of the main sources of the valuable Adegan crystals used in the construction of Jedi lightsabers. The caverns containing the crystals were long ago turned into a Jedi temple. Unlike the crystals of other planets, the crystals of Ilum were limited to blue and green in color. RalltiirRalltiir as the second planet[2] in the Ralltiir system, a star system that was located in the Darpa sector of the Core Worlds. Ralltiir orbited its star Rallt in an orbital period of 255 standard days and had a local day of 19 hours, and Ralltiir was itself orbited by twenty-eight moons. A major financial center of the galaxy, Ralltiir lay along the Perlemian Trade Route in the Ringali Shell—a string of systems along the Perlemian that were situated closest to the Perlemian's intersection with the Hydian Way hyperlane. The Shell, which included the planets Esseles, Rhinnal, Brentaal IV, Chandrila, and Corulag, took its name from the Ringali Nebula, a violet-colored nebula that threaded through the region and lit up the nighttime skies of every planet in the Shell. Ralltiir was situated approximately thirty-one hours away from Rhinnal, the next planet along the Perlemian if one was traveling south along the hyperlane and Ralltiir lay on the very edge of the boundary separating the Core Worlds from the Colonies region.
A terrestrial and temperate world that measured 13,449 kilometers in diameter, Ralltiir possessed a standard atmosphere, a moderate hydrosphere, and standard gravity. Ralltiir possessed three main continents, with one located at the southern pole, a second wrapping around the equator, and a third wrapping around the planet near the northern pole. The three continents all featured prominent mountain ranges and undeveloped coastal regions with large expanses of marshes and wetlands. Much of the available land was dominated by Ralltiir's numerous cities. The climate and topography of Ralltiir's mountains varied greatly; the mountain ranges that were located at extreme latitudes featured glaciers, while the High Ontis—the central mountain range at the planet's equator—was arid and dotted with desert scrub. Ralltiir's oceans were unique in that they experienced "balanced" tidal forces, as the gravitational pull of Ralltiir's twenty-eight moons largely counteracted each other and therefore did not cause extreme tidal activity. However, the Tas Sea was a particularly turbulent body of water on Ralltiir, and it was dotted by a number of granite outcroppings—some of which were large enough to build entire fortresses upon.
Ralltiir's primary exports were its financial services and marble, as the planet featured significant deposits of marble. A number of marble quarries were located in the High Ontis, though they had been largely stripped of any valuable marble by the time of the Galactic Empire's rise to power. Ralltiir had a well-earned reputation as a stable economic center and a haven for safe investment; most of the planet's financial institutions were politically neutral so as to protect their finances from the political maneuverings and uprisings that affected market stability. CoruscantCoruscant originally called Notron, also known as Imperial Center or the Queen of the Core, was a planet located in the Galactic Core. It was generally agreed that Coruscant was, during most of galactic history, the most politically important world in the galaxy. At various times, it was the capital of the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, the New Republic, the Yuuzhan Vong empire, the Galactic Alliance, very briefly the Fel Empire, Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, and the Galactic Federation Triumvirate. In controlling Coruscant, these governments controlled most of the galaxy in the process.
Over the centuries, Coruscant had developed into an ecumenopolis, with a total of 5,127 levels of city built up from the crust by the time of the Clone Wars. The actual planet-wide metropolis of Coruscant was called Galactic City. Under the Galactic Republic, the names Republic City or the City of Spires were also used to reference the city. It was also called Imperial City under the Galactic Empire, and New Republic City under the New Republic. ShiliShili was the homeworld of the Togrutas located in the Ehosiq sector. The legendary Jedi Master Shaak Ti was a native of Shili, as were Raana Tey, Ashla and Ahsoka Tano. The planet was a long-time member of the Galactic Republic and Togrutas had been in the Jedi Order since its earliest years.
It was the homeworld of many beasts, such as the Akul, which tribes of Togrutas had to work together to defeat in order to survive. The planet was covered with turu-grass scrublands and valley canopy forests. The most prominent city on Shili was Corvala, which was the capital. KorribanKorriban, known as Pesegam during the reign of Xim, and also known as Moraband by the time of the Clone Wars, was the sole planet in the Horuset system, located across the galaxy from Koros Major. It was the original homeworld of the Sith species and a sacred planet for the Sith Order, housing the tombs for many ancient and powerful Dark Lords of the Sith, and containing immense dark side power.
After the Hundred-Year Darkness, the remaining Dark Jedi interbred with the Sith species and ruled the Sith using their Force powers. After the Great Hyperspace War, Korriban was abandoned and became a barren world. It was the site of a Sith Academy, and became the headquarters of the One Sith.

ZiostZiost, sometimes referred to as the "Gateway to the Empire" in the days of the Old Republic, was a world made up of ancient dark forests and barren tundra. However, the trees withered away and the planet became very similar, in landscape, to Korriban. Much of the planet was covered in ice. Not only was it a focal point of the dark side, but it was also the adopted homeworld and Imperial capital of the Sith species, who left their original homeworld, Korriban, as a graveyard world after the death of their leader Adas.

Dromund KaasDromund Kaas was the third planet of the Dromund system, a star system located in the Sith Worlds—a region of the Outer Rim Territories's Esstran sector that was enclosed in the nebula known as the Stygian Caldera. Dromund Kaas had two moons and orbited the star Dromund, and it lay along the Kamat Krote hyperspace route between the planets Jaguada and Bosthirda.
By the time of the Great Hyperspace War with the Galactic Republic, Dromund Kaas was largely covered by jungles, and oceans. When the survivors of the old Sith Empire arrived on the planet in 4980 BBY, they were forced to tame the seemingly endless jungles and fend off the planet's violent predators in order to establish their society, and the planet remained largely jungles, oceans, and swamps other than the metropolis of Kaas City and other locations on the surface. Dromund Kaas' atmosphere was also heavily charged with electricity to the point that lightning was a near-constant sight in the almost perpetually clouded sky; a result of the Sith Emperor's experiments in arcane and forbidden uses of the dark side of the Force.
In the centuries after the Galactic War between the Empire and the Republic, the planet's jungles were largely overtaken by swamps and marshes, submerging most of the planet's solid ground. The breathable atmosphere became more stable, though it remained a wet and humid world with a varying climate. Massive, dark-wooded trees grew in the swampy water, forming canyon-like groupings of foliage that were covered in vines and infested with the lizard-like ysalamiri creatures. The planet was shrouded in a pervasive miasma of dark side energy, and locations such as the Dark Temple, and the Dark Force Temple were the sites of intensely strong Force nexuses.
A major battle of the New Sith Wars was fought on Dromund Kaas, and several decades later the rogue Sith Lord Darth Millennial established the Dark Force religion on Dromund Kaas after he rejected the Rule of Two and abandoned the Order of the Sith Lords. The Prophets of the Dark Side who followed Millennial's religion ruled Dromund Kaas for almost a thousand years before they incurred the wrath of Darth Sidious, causing the Prophets to abandon the planet for Bosthirda. The location, at the time, was held by a cult of Sith, led by a mutated individual who called himself Millenial Reborn. - The resulting campaign ensured that the Blackguard Imperium gained the system and its precious shipyards. Millenial, and his cult, fled. - Malvus, gaining connections on the inside with the garrison and governance, sent forth a signal which caused a coup within the system. This coincided with similar events across the Sith Worlds that brought the planets into the fold of the Conclave. It was later revealed that the planet was meant to be an outpost for the Resurgent Sith Conclave. - As of right now, the night clans are divided and left to their own leaderships, but the Heirarch desires to see his new allies united if possible. The Conclave has begun to negotiate with the clans and supply them with the promises made prior. KorribanKorriban known as Pesegam during the reign of Xim, and also known as Moraband by the time of the Clone Wars, was the sole planet in the Horuset system, located across the galaxy from Koros Major. It was the original homeworld of the Sith species and a sacred planet for the Sith Order, housing the tombs for many ancient and powerful Dark Lords of the Sith, and containing immense dark side power.
After the Hundred-Year Darkness, the remaining Dark Jedi interbred with the Sith species and ruled the Sith using their Force powers. After the Great Hyperspace War, Korriban was abandoned and became a barren world. It was the site of a Sith Academy, and became the headquarters of the One Sith.

Dromund KaasDromund Kaas was the third planet of the Dromund system, a star system located in the Sith Worlds—a region of the Outer Rim Territories's Esstran sector that was enclosed in the nebula known as the Stygian Caldera. Dromund Kaas had two moons and orbited the star Dromund, and it lay along the Kamat Krote hyperspace route between the planets Jaguada and Bosthirda.
By the time of the Great Hyperspace War with the Galactic Republic, Dromund Kaas was largely covered by jungles, and oceans. When the survivors of the old Sith Empire arrived on the planet in 4980 BBY, they were forced to tame the seemingly endless jungles and fend off the planet's violent predators in order to establish their society, and the planet remained largely jungles, oceans, and swamps other than the metropolis of Kaas City and other locations on the surface. Dromund Kaas' atmosphere was also heavily charged with electricity to the point that lightning was a near-constant sight in the almost perpetually clouded sky; a result of the Sith Emperor's experiments in arcane and forbidden uses of the dark side of the Force.
In the centuries after the Galactic War between the Empire and the Republic, the planet's jungles were largely overtaken by swamps and marshes, submerging most of the planet's solid ground. The breathable atmosphere became more stable, though it remained a wet and humid world with a varying climate. Massive, dark-wooded trees grew in the swampy water, forming canyon-like groupings of foliage that were covered in vines and infested with the lizard-like ysalamiri creatures. The planet was shrouded in a pervasive miasma of dark side energy, and locations such as the Dark Temple, and the Dark Force Temple were the sites of intensely strong Force nexuses.
A major battle of the New Sith Wars was fought on Dromund Kaas, and several decades later the rogue Sith Lord Darth Millennial established the Dark Force religion on Dromund Kaas after he rejected the Rule of Two and abandoned the Order of the Sith Lords. The Prophets of the Dark Side who followed Millennial's religion ruled Dromund Kaas for almost a thousand years before they incurred the wrath of Darth Sidious, causing the Prophets to abandon the planet for Bosthirda. ZiostZiost, sometimes referred to as the "Gateway to the Empire" in the days of the Old Republic, was a world made up of ancient dark forests and barren tundra. However, the trees withered away and the planet became very similar, in landscape, to Korriban. Much of the planet was covered in ice. Not only was it a focal point of the dark side, but it was also the adopted homeworld and Imperial capital of the Sith species, who left their original homeworld, Korriban, as a graveyard world after the death of their leader Adas.

ThuleThule was the innermost planet of the Thurra system, a remote star system situated upon the western flanks of the Stygian Caldera in the Esstran sector of the Outer Rim. Thule shared its star Thurra with the gas giant Enenpa, and was itself orbited by Sivvi, a captured asteroid which served as Thule's sole natural satellite. Thule rotated on its axis every thirty-eight standard hours and orbited Thurra every four hundred and fifty-nine standard days on average.
Thule was a dry and arid terrestrial world possessed of a Type I atmosphere and standard gravity. Apart from a few arable regions that hosted the bulk of the planet's cities and farms, Thule's surface was barren and covered with a thick carpet of charred gray rock and fine sand. Its landscape was primarily characterized by blackened hills, rich savannas, rocky plains, and wind-hollowed canyons punctuated at length by tall, natural spires. Despite heavy cloud cover that birthed both frequent windstorms and protracted bouts of colored lightning, Thule experienced fewer than fifty days of rain per year.
Though Thule was believed to have once been home to a variety of indigenous lifeforms during its earliest history, most of this endemic flora and fauna was ultimately rendered extinct by the subsequent colonization efforts of the planet's inhabitants and by the ferocity of its weather patterns. Only a unique species of bioluminescent moss that fed on the planet's charred rock content and lit Thule's stony outcroppings and spires with an eerie light managed to persist unmolested on the planet's surface.
It's significance to the Sith lies with the Force Nexus that ensures that the planet is steeped in the Dark Side of the Force. It has been a hidden Sith fortress world for most of its history, consistently serving as a redoubt and resource for many generations of Sith. Although once a colony of Xim's Empire, it became a possession of the Old Sith Empire in 6900 BBY. This was ended by the union of several military factions, leading to the formation of the Ruling Council of Seven, a junta-styled leadership. - The Ruling Council denied the suzerainty of the Resurgent Sith Conclave, resulting in a fierce invasion of the planet that would lead to its forced integration into the small territory of the Conclave. EriaduEriadu was the primary world in the Seswenna sector, and one of the Outer Rim's most active trade centers. It sat on the intersection of several hyperspace routes, including the Rimma Trade Route, the Hydian Way, the Lipsec Run, and the Yankirk Route.
The planet was originally located on the Eriadu Bypass until the Hydian Way was remapped to run through Eriadu (reflecting economic realities) rather than Seswenna. MustafarMustafar was a small planet located in the Mustafar system of the Outer Rim Territories, coreward of Rutan, between the Hydian Way and the Ninth Quadrant.
A fiery volcanic world where an unusual type of lava was mined as a natural resource, Mustafar often served as a place to dispose of unwanted evidence, a quality which drew Black Sun to the planet. It also drew the Sith: it was here that Darth Maul began his training under Darth Sidious. Mustafar served as the last capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, thus becoming the site of the Separatists' downfall, an event that shaped galactic history. In a duel that followed, Darth Vader fought his former mentor, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
