At this present point in time, I have no reason to investigate the matters developing on Bothawui.
Should this Blue Shadow Virus spread off-world, however, it will undoubtedly become my concern.
Until such time, I will be watching, as always.
As requested from the shadows, I have given a mutually beneficial way for the Jedi to be aware of the planet's status.
They are welcome to use this 'bait' as much or as little as they desire.
May good fortune shine upon you poor souls willingly involving yourselves.

Forgive my long delay - i had a few things come up in RL that kept me from getting the other half of this started but now there is a post up on the Merchant Square for anyone interesting in writing with a few thugs and a crazed little jawa.... dont ask. He's sensitive about it.

No problem, that's reasonable. I'm waiting anyways for Kelam to show up and then I'll keep to the setting. For the moment the Dominion team isn't in a hurry... for the moment. ^-^

With all due respect, dear, that isn't a good attitude to throw out there to a group putting effort into your SL. If you would then, kindly throw up an S.O.S signal to get picked up in orbit so that the Jedi (and following parties) know where they're going. We would appreciate continuing to be involved. |

Just checking in to see what the situation is. I know we are waiting for the next step of the story on three fronts with Kalli/Achiira and Kia at the outpost and Kelam in the square. Just looking to see where we are in waiting for the next part of the knowledge we need to continue.

Hello Everyone. I know that i've been dark for quite a while. Work and the Last few classes i've been taking for College has taken up more of my free time than i'd have liked. I've responded and given an ending wrap up to what i could see as part 1 and this is some of the information that you guys would have worked up with your digging.
Anyone in Merchant Square by now will with some digging... have figured out the location of the Laboratory and if you would have made contact would know that the Doctor behind the Blue Shadow Virus is currently on Mesa 291. His Jawa Assistant - if properly motivated would have revealed as much and the computers at the lab would have let you all know that the next phase of the project is to use the Ice Caps on Bothawui to Move the Virus from one hemisphere to another. Still water born the melting of the Icecaps would move the Virus to the ocean and if that happened every major water source on the planet would be infected with the Virus and the Planet would eventually Die as a result.
There is a second lab built into the Ice caps where a second team is currently working to plant thermal energy stations within several of the larger caps and they are largely manned by droids following the orders left to them by the Doctor, but so far there is no contact with those teams and their progress on their project is only just now beginning.
Anyone currently on Mesa 291. You know that everyone that had the Virus is dead except for the Bothan Child - Patient Zero. Russet Fur, Green eyes, calm demeanor. Any Jedi that has taken his blood or looked at his charts would note a high Midichlorian count. It is the belief of the First Order Medical chief that the childs force sensitivity has protected him against the virus somehow, but she has no way of proving it, and is testing him relentlessly to find a way to make people immune to the Virus as a whole.
The Duros Doctor distrusts the First Order Medical Chief and since she has seniority he has been removed from service and has only been allowed to remain on site due to the quarantine.
While no one on Mesa 291 currently is aware that the Doctor behind the Virus' resurgence is on Mesa 291 both the Medical Chief and the Duros are suspicious enough to warrant investigation and each has urged you to look into the other.
With the seasons changing everyone has been on Bothawui for about 2 months now and there is a fear that with the ice moving down from the north that it could pick up the remnants of the Blue Shadow Virus on the Frontier's water supply and if that happens the ice could transport the Virus with it, effectively contaminating the Glaciers that formed the Frontier for generations - perhaps forever.
This post is to inform everyone of what is currently gone on and what you could have learned had my absence not taken me away. All of this information will be assumed common knowledge moving forward for anyone still willing to write the story.

It may take me a bit to get back into this story. When I asked where things were a few months ago and got no response from you yet saw you posting here and there in other topics, I assumed the story to be dead. As such, I moved forward with other stories and characters. And with me finally back with my 3rd shift job, I’ve got to reorganize my schedule IRL as well. Other stories I’ve even started have kind of come to a halt to ensure I can push others forward that need to keep moving.
I’ll do what I can in my free time to start thinking out a response, but it might be a little while before I get a post out with any of my characters.
