Having received information narrowing the location of the Jetii terrorists to the Colonies Region, orders are given to scout the area and find the launching point of the attack.
The two Lightstealth-18s of Taung's fleet, move away from the planet, and jump to hyperspace.
Onboard the large ships, Orar, Skira, Ram'or, Mishmure'cya, and their smaller brethren, Kotyc, Nasreyc, and Kandosii, all fired off their reactors, and began weapons checks, and inventory.

Mel followed his gaze and picked up on the double entendre in his words, his hands drifting down to her waist, steadying her on his lap. She reached back and pulled her boots off, the heavy soles hitting the floor one by one. She slid backwards off the couch and tilted her head at him, a very serious expression on her face as she replied. "Yes, sir."
She turned and made her way for the bedroom, loosening her tunic and unwrapping the soft blue fabric from her frame. She disappeared into the bedroom, shedding the rest of her clothes, letting them drop to the floor in a heap by her closet before she donned a long, red, silk robe. She appeared back in the doorway, leaning on the door frame, her hands playfully spinning the end of the belt around a finger. "Perhaps you should come show me what I'll be up against, sir."

A message comes in from one of the scout teams, they had a probably location. Carida. Quickly an Elite Airborne Commando Team of six soldiers reported to the landing bay where they donned extra heated gear and oxygen, and loaded themselves into the empty missile bays of a Werlaara class Stealth Bomber. The craft quickly warmed up and lifted off and moved out of the drive yards, already cloaked, and jumped into hyperspace.

Taung grinned and started to stand when his comlink chirped at him for attention. He frowned at the interruption as he answered the offending device.
"What?"
Sir. We have located the Jedi base it is on Carida.
Taung was silent for a moment, and then his eyes drifted up to Mel standing there in the doorway.
"Make the necessary arrangements Admiral. I will be ready when the troops are."
He signed off and turned the comlink off and tossed it back on the couch.
"That should keep him busy for a bit. But that is later. This is now."
He stands up and removes his shirt showing the firm but not overly muscled physic, and stepping towards her with a smile as he kicked out of his boots.

Out in space, the three smaller Mandokar class Star Frigates head towards the planet and slip into the atmosphere.

She stepped out to greet him with hands running over his chest, encircling his neck and drinking in the kisses from his lips. They crossed the threshold into her bedroom, his hands on the delicate folds of her robe, hers on the belt holding his pants up. The trail of their garments lead to her bed where they disappeared beneath the sheets. Their voices and breath were hushed in the silence around them but they were lost in the throes of their desires, words forgotten with tongues and touches. Her clear blue eyes were crystals of immeasurable depth, locked with his as they moved as one and felt the turn of the universe beneath them.
Exhausted from their efforts, not once but twice, they lay on the battleground of their making, her sheets dislodged and wrapped around them as they lay against the soft white cotton covered pillows. She lay next to him, his arm draped around her, her head resting on his chest as she drew little circles on his sternum with her fingernail. His heart rate was slowing and his breathing was returning to normal, the steady thumping lulling her into a very comfortable position.

He softly nuzzled her, enjoying the slow play of her touch on his chest as he let his hand run up and down her side. He smiled softly as he pulled his head back to look into her blue, content eyes. He wished this moment could last, be drawn out, paused in time, but he knew it could not be so. He sighed with a sadness that he didnt want to feel as he whispered to her.
"You know I have to go right?"

"Hmm?" She didn't want to think about having to get up right now, or him to run out the door. She wanted another night by his side, wrapped in his arms and sleeping peacefully, without a care in the world. She wanted the feeling of being safe, emotionally but she knew better. She was a soldier first and a woman second. Duty called him, and he must answer it. She unwrapped herself from him, allowing him easy access to slide off the bed away from her. She instead shoved her arms under a pillow and lay her cheek upon it. Her black hair was splayed around her like a dark halo and there was a look of regret that this stolen moment was all they could have. For the time being. Although she couldn't help but wonder if he had gotten what he wanted, would she be tossed aside and forgotten.
"I assume it has to do with the comlink you got a little bit ago. I take it from your phrasing the team and I are being left behind on this one."

He nodded as he ran a hand down her bare back, his eyes following the path of his hand as it followed the curve of her back down to her rear and back up again, drinking in the sight of her. His eyes flowed across her dark hair and back to her face.
"Yes. The Jedi base that launched the attack against Mandalore's beskar mining operations has been located. It has to be taken out, and I'm leading the fleet. Its going to be a battle axe operation, not a scalpel. It should take less than two days, including travel time, to and from."
He got up and slowly collected his clothes and got dressed, sitting back down on the bed to finish putting on his boots before he rolled over and gave her butt a pinch.
"I'll make sure the navigators plot the quickest route back. I'm already thinking about the next time you...well...you were there for that." He gave her a hungry look as he leaned down to kiss her passionately. "Next time...I shall not be so easy on you." He gives her a grin as he heads out of the bedroom, pausing at the door to look back at her for one more long moment before finally slipping out.
He walked absentmindedly back to his quarters and found his gear, quickly strapping on his armor. As he did so he found his thoughts drifting back to Mel. The smell of her skin, the softness firmness of her body, the way she moved and smiled while making love, hidden from the world underneath the sheets when they....he missed a connection for the third time in as many seconds and forcefully shook himself out of his reverie and tried to refocus on the task at hand. If he was too distracted he wouldnt come back, and he wasnt about to miss seeing that body of her's again...tasting her lips...smelling her hair...and...He shook his head again to focus back on what he was doing.

"K'oyacyi, cyar'ika. Gar shuk meh kyrayc."* She gave him a passionate kiss in return and watched him walk out of her rooms, geared up for war. It was going to be a long couple days waiting for him to return. In the meantime, she had a meeting to set up with the Liannan Army HQ. They would not relish hearing of the entanglement she now had to contend with. She had been completely serious about her resignment, should the army require it, she would give it. First, she had to report in. She pulled herself out of bed and headed for the refresher, thinking of a hot shower and pressing her uniform before heading down to Lianna City.
*"Come back safely, sweetheart. You're no good to me dead."

An hour later Taung was walking onto the Orar via an extendable boarding collar from the shipyards, taking a full thirty minutes to walk to the bridge of the ship, buried deep underneath the armored hull. The docking clamps had already been pulled away and the ship gently pushed out into open space by both its own and the shipyards own heavy tractor beams. Together it joined with the other six ships that made up Taung's battle fleet and they moved in formation away from the planet as Taung reviewed the intelligence on the Jedi Base and Carida itself. He transmitted his plans via direct laser link before the armada streaked into hyperspace.

Taung recieved the message about Mel's death from the Liannan Army Command when the fleet of three Mishmure'cya class Light Star Cruisers and three Mandokar class Star Frigates returned from the destruction of Carida to re-provision and do minor repairs before the upcoming battle of Kuat. He sat stonily staring at the message before opening up a comm to Liannan Army Command. Someone was going to answer questions. Simply put, explosions didnt simply occur on an every day basis.
He forced his way through several junior officers before finally getting to the level of a colonel in the Liannan Army.
This is Taung H'rel. Expect my imminent arrival.
With that he boarded a shuttle and headed planetside.

*Alternate Timeline Catching Up To When Taung Goes Down To The Planet*
Taung's fleet of 4 Mishmure'cya class Light Star Cruisers, three Mandokar class Star Frigates, and two LightStealth-18s . The LightStealth-18s quickly reprovisioned and then moved out again, jumping for the Kuat System. The Mandokar Star Frigates quickly docked with the stations to quickly resupply, repair, and re-outfit for the upcoming battle at Kuat.

Mel pulled on the yoke, sending the ship out of the hangar and back towards the planet. The ride down was uneventful and there was no sign of Sep and Einen when she touched down at the spaceport. She had changed her clothes, no longer looking like Sep, she slipped out of the shuttle and disappeared into the city once more.
Sep and Einen came back to the shuttle about an hour later, and took off towards Sienar without delay.

Taung returned to the shipyards and went right to the tactical room with Admirals Holland and Holland, and General's Heckler and Koch. He stood leaning against the holographic planning table staring at a glowing and floating representation of the Kuat System, the known and guessed defenses listed where they were thought to be. His own forces were listed in one corner of the holoscreen and he manipulated the controls to zoom in and out, looking at the planet of Kuat itself. He ignored the moons of Kuat. Despite the production abilities on the moons, the main target was the shipyards, they were the ones that put together the finishing product and the main hulls. Interrupting support sections wouldnt do much to bring the war to a halt. But wrecking some of the main drydocks would certainly put a damper on Dark Tide being able to rearm quickly. A straight approach would work well, if he could split the defending fleets attention it could get more troops to the yards...which would have to be taken by storm in order to drop the shipyards shields. It was the only way that the fleet could get through the powerful shields of the yards. That ring might be small in holo, but he knew that those yards were hundreds of kilometers through. Even with the shields down the best he could hope for would be to damage the machine shops and drydocks enough to slow the production of finished starships. How many...he waved away the planet and called up what was known about the shipyards and did some quick calculations. Three...he would have to bring down three of at least four primary shielding reactors in order to bring the shields down enough to actually do damage to the yards itself. He would need his army then, but surely not all of them. Dark Tide's Army. They could still be moved by civilian transports. He would have to try to reduce their combat effectiveness to. A hardpoint would have to be attacked...like the Estate of the Ten, Dark Tide's Headquarters. It was the logical point to attack, it was a sensitive and crucial location, hopefully he could engage the Dark Tide Army far enough out to not damage the estate itself. It would be a shame to ruin such a beautiful location.
The lighted holograms in front of him faded as the Admirals and Generals debated the plan and his eyes saw Mel...Six...it was difficult to think of thinking of her as an assassin who had been sent to kill him, and that he had fallen in love with her and she with him. He closed his eyes within his helmet against the fears that Mel was going down to the surface and was exposed to all the trained assassins that Lianna Intelligence could send after her. He wanted to trust her, but it didnt stop the fear from washing through him that he could possibly never see her again. He was lost in these thoughts until he realized that the room had gone silent with the others clearly waiting for him to answer some question.
"I'm sorry. What?"

Roughly 20 hours later, a shuttle landed in the hangar, ramped extended to the metal floor. 6, wearing an obnoxious red curly wig, and wild clothes walked them down the ramp, following the tourist traffic lines as they shuffled along. At a certain point, they slipped away from the group, ducking into a maintenance closet. 6 donned a buy'ce from a pack that the Cathar carried, pulling off the crazy clothes to reveal another set of Mando armor, in purple. Palex gave them all faked credentials and they exited the closet, heading for Taung's quarters.
Palex sliced the lock and they disappeared inside the room. There was no sign of Gaeza or Taung at the moment. So far so good. They made themselves comfortable, but 6 kept the helmet on as she stared out the window waiting.

Taung returned to his quarters for the second time. Gaeza had been sleeping after the first planning session and he didnt want to wake her, leaving early again for finalizing the fleet movements and what he was going to say to any allies that felt like following his attack plan. He was nervous. Six...Mel...He blinked hard again, had said one day, it was approaching 20 hours and he hadnt heard from her. He didnt know what she had gone to do, he just knew that if he hadnt heard from her in 23 hours and 59 minutes he was going to kill a lot of people on the planet in brutally efficient and swift ways before anyone could get off the planet. He would take out his rage on the only enemies and those responsible for his pain that he could point a finger at.
He got to his quarters and got two steps into the room because of his distracted nature when he noticed the very large white feline standing in the middle of the entry. He froze, his hands ready to produce all kinds of weapons in the twinkling of an eye...or a few twinklings and a half a blink, whichever way it actually happened. Then his senses started catching up with his mind noting that there was a younger human male, and someone in Mandalorian Armor in purple with a bucket on. He ticked his head back and forth giving obvious looks from someone who usually had their eyes hidden behind a visor as the door slid shut behind him.
::...Six?::

Yeah but maybe you shouldn't call me that.
She reached up and pulled off the bucket, revealing her twinkling blue eyes. He would not remove his bucket in front of these strangers but soon enough they would be seen off. She motioned to the others in the room.
"This is Palex, slicer/hacker extraordinaire. He helped me get in touch with you. And this is..."
"Commander Demarus, captain of the Stark of the Dark Tide."
The Cather looked a little unfriendly towards the man who just entered.
"You were responsible for the destruction of the Stark but now you might be my only way off this god forsaken rock. The agency has been keeping me under wraps as a political prisoner since the remains of the Stark were recovered by their personnel. I'm told I must trust you to get me home although you were the reason I was here in the first place."

::...perhaps not.::
He stepped further into the room and off to one side of the doorway, reaching behind him to lock it to make sure no one interrupted them. It wouldnt do to have unnecessary questions or rumors floating about. He faced Demarus, the big white furred Cathar, his eyes tracing across the angled snout and the large canines that were hidden by the slightly loose lips there.
::It was nothing personal. I have no doubt you would not have hesitated to destroy my ships. I am sorry you lost so many crew.:: He paused for a moment thinking. ::But if you are...were a political prisoner, then it seems we have a mutual interest in getting you off the planet. Why were you being held?::
