What the lad had said went in one ear and out the other as Nala was busy with Kahn. She noted the odd pendant he was wearing and peered closer. "Hmm," she muttered to herself, tchinn, her right lekku curled as it draped down her back with a curious twitch. She careful removed the necklace while observing the Jedi and then held it up to the light, delicately drawn eyebrows slanted down toward her nose as she examined it.
Something penetrated her focus and the grey-eyed Healer turned around. "Twelve Sith?" On Corellia? In one place? Working together? It was common knowledge that Sith tended not to move in large groups together, probably due to their method of advancement, something about the apprentice killing the master and essentially promoting him or herself thereby... all these questions and more were included in the simple query she aired.

As the young Jedi relayed the current situation in the forest, he gazed upon the necklace as Nala examined it. He had taken a few moments to assess the boy's condition and noticed that the necklace seemed to be untouched. It made him curious as to how it came out unscathed by whatever the Sith had done to the child. Upon the trip back, he focused his mind upon the boy as well as the necklace. While he felt the boy's presence was calm, there was a hint of the Force. Whether or not he was sensitive to it was unknown. However, he had hoped to feel something from the necklace, maybe leading it to be an artifact of some sort the Sith used, but it was quiet, no presence to speak of. The only thought that he could gather was that the Sith had placed it around his neck just before the first team arrived and were unable to do anything further. It was his hope that Kahn had remained untainted by the Sith.
Noticing Nala's attention redirect itself back to him through her speech, he closed his eyes and nodded. "Yes, I'm afraid so. The implications of such a number working together worries me. It is rare that Sith gather in anything more than two or three at a time. However, when such groups arise they are focused and are a deadly force." His gaze returned to the floor. "Unfortunately, the information we have gathered was just enough to locate them. Their intentions are still unknown. Hopefully, we can capture one and get answers. Until then, I'm afraid we are in the dark."

The male approached the infirmary slowly, walking towards the building. Having stalked the young boy here via his scent it really hadn't been that hard. So he had transformed back in the woods and approached the Jedi acadamy on two feet. He had pulled on his pants, but left his shirt off because it was simply aggravating the vicious burn he had received via Sith lightning. His right hand gripped his bag of tricks and his left the collar of the sith he had captured alive dragging her along beside himself like the female dark sider was nothing more then a bag of flour. Neena padded along beside him.
He paused outside the Jedi Academy, hefting his prisoner. "Hello?! Is there anybody home? I got something for you guys, something you guys may wanna take a look at." He waited patiently for the Jedi to come knowing they would.

"I see," the Healer replied absently as she held the pendant up to the light and examined it. A grey eye peeked around the side of it, "Do you know if this belongs to him or if he recently acquired it?"
"Literally, or metaphorically?" she queried to his remark that the Jedi were currently in the dark. She set down the pendant with a sigh, then turned just as another young man entered the infirmary dragging...someone? behind him. The Twi'Lek edged around Kahn's bed and peered closer, one eyebrow arched steeply.
She already had her comlink out and had paged Security. "Well, it looks like you boys have some explaining to do while we're waiting for your friend to wake up," she gestured over towards Kahn with a graceful wave and then circumambulated the newest arrival, noticing the burns on his naked torso. There wasn't a lot one could do for a victim of Sith Lightning, aside from a stint in a bacta tank, and even then the residual muscle spasms that would be triggered by irritated and overstimulated nerves would occur for a good couple of weeks yet depending on the severity and duration of the Lightning. Her own lekku twitched sympathetically. "How are you feeling?"

The man shook his head. "It is unclear what he had prior to being taken by the Sith and what they gave him. The most we can do is wait for him to awaken and tell us. Hopefully he'll be able to tell us more."
When she questioned his meaning about being in the dark, he could only pause. Did he say something that made it questionable? He tried to think over what he had said, thinking maybe his words had been said in an odd manner. However, as he thought, it sounded clear to him. Of course, he already understood the meaning. Letting his right hand come up, it waved around slightly as he spoke. "Until we get some answers, we have nothing to go on to make any kind of assumptions, or any that has any real substance."
As he heard Cag outside the infirmary, he turned as he entered. He paid no mind to the state he was in, only to the one he was dragging around. Immediately, he focused upon the presence of the man and the female he had, quickly feeling them familiar. He had felt both scattered in the forest where the Sith were being engaged. Turning fully, he gave a small smirk. "Perhaps we are closer to getting answers than we thought." Seeing the Sith was unconscious for the moment, he took a breath. That was a good sign. It would allow them time to restrain her before interrogating her.

Ca'guuror remained silent, keeping a firm grip on the collar he was holding. As the female walked around him, he tried to follow her with his eyes and turned his head and then jerked it around to the other when he couldn't turn it anymore. When she finally ask him how he felt, he grunted and shrugged his shoulders causing the poor unconscious captive to jostle up and down. His lips parted as he spoke his response.
"Ehhh.... I've had worse. Kinda tickled." He stated and chuckled softly. "This one will need a little.....attention before you attempt to interrogate her. I was a little rough. She should remain weakened for a while longer. Corellian sand panther venom..." He stated as an explanation to her state of condition.
When security finally showed up, he hefted the prisoner one handed and placed her in their arms. He then looked back at the unconscious boy on a gurney and jerked his chin towards him. "That the person of interest to you and the Sith both?" He asked, giving no explanation as to who he was because nobody had asked yet despite his none affiliation with either sect. Though if anybody check the force they would get an obvious read from him.

As Cag threw the Sith into securities arms, the sudden jolt, despite how light, was enough to wake her. She grunted as she looked around with blurry eyes. Her body was weak and her senses couldn't focus. She blinked once or twice, her vision improving only slightly. Though she was unable to gauge her surroundings, she had a feeling that she was alive and somewhere she didn't want to be.
The Jedi that had brought Kahn noticed the Sith had awoken and motioned for security to turn her to face him. Corellian sand panther venom was nasty stuff and would easily keep her weak. This allowed for a good moment of questioning. He didn't expect much from her; Sith wouldn't reveal their plans so easily, especially if it was long term. However, he hoped she would be more compliant in her current state.
=Jedi=
"Tell me, what were you doing in the forest and what have you done to this boy? Speak!"
The Sith forced her head up to look at the young Jedi. Her vision was still too blurry to make out any details. It was a bad situation, to say the least. She had to do something, had to get away, had to get out of their grasp. But that wasn't likely. She hadn't the strength to move and her ability to wield the Force was still just beyond her reach. At the moment, she was subject to their questions and interrogation. However, if she could stall....
=Sith=
"Damn you, Jedi. Always meddling, always spreading your pathetic light. You will pay for your interference. One day, your precious light will be devoured by the darkness and the universe will be able to thrive as it was meant to, free of your filth."
She tried to sound intimating, to sound as if she couldn't be broken, but even those words took effort to get out.

"Grynt. . .Hey Grynt! . .Grynt?" A grizzled and bruised Corellian in an aquatic blue flight suit with a Mon Cal service patch on its breast comes limping in. Blood stained at the left shoulder and left leg; without ceremony or waiting, he begins unzipping it and removing his left arm gingerly, checking the makeshift patch work he made before escaping for his life. Strips down the rest of the flight suit down to his waist, exposing his bruised and bloodied torso, finding the nearest infirmary bed, waiting for the next available Healer; either Grynt or whatever attendant would be along. . .

Peering around the corner of a nearby exam room, the Mirialan's blue eyes all that are visible as the rest of her face is concealed by her headscarf and veil, Master Grynt's pleasure upon seeing that Will has returned is evident despite the fact only her eyes can be seen. "Sit and hush, some of my patients are trying to rest, Sharee tells Will in much the same tone she would address a particularly noisy padawan making a nuisance of themselves in the infirmary, I'll be with you in a moment."
A young Mon Calamari's face appears briefly around the corner as well, large yellow eyes widening even larger as they roll and find Will, and the owner of the face exclaims, "Whoa! I thought I looked beat up! Master Sontir looks like he got his . . ."
"That's quite enough Aksa'den Prone, Sharee's voice can be heard from behind the wall of the nearby exam room, now sit still while I set that arm. What possessed you to try and take on eight training droids is beyond me."
Appearing in the doorway of the exam room WIll had chosen after a few moments spent lecturing Aksa'den while tending to the young Mon Calamari's scrapes, bruises, burns, and broken arm, Sharee shakes her head while clucking her tongue as she takes in the sight of Will's wounds and tells him, "Well, Aksa'den was right, you do look as though you've gone a round or two with an angry Wampa. Lay down," she says with a sigh as though annoyed, her concern for Will evident despite her tone, and then, after examining his wounds and assessing him for others that are not visible, begins to mend the battered Jedi Master with an artful combination of medical and, with the assistance of the Force, more mystical techniques.
"Will it do any good, Master Grynt asks in a bemused and knowing tone after she has seen to Will's wounds, gently dressing those that had not been closed completely, to tell you to take it easy on the leg, or to avoid any strenuous exercise for a few days? As glad as I am to see you, I'd rather not be treating you again tomorrow for reopening or aggravating the injuries I've worked so hard to look after. Don't make me go to Mother and have you officially put on light duty or bed rest."

Screwing up his face in nonchalant annoyance and shooting pain as the Mirilian Master pokes her head in and treats him like a pupil in the back of class making a ruckus. "Well it is nice to see you too, Sharee." As Will continues to strip down all unnecessary clothing, scars and scorched skin from battles past and fresher wounds mingle together like tourists and visitors at the Senate Promenade.
--Will's progress ceases and his icy blue eyes freezes as the bulbous yellow eyes peer over with innocent curiosity; but the memories that flashes behind Will's eyes are all but innocent. Watching those same eyes, or similar, lose life as both young and old Mon Cala are sliced down. The red gleam of flames and red lightsabers are seared into his brain. . .
Will takes only a second to shake himself out of the terrible memories, in order to not scare the youngling in front of him; and with a stiff thumb, he shoos little Prone away. . .
. . .and when Sharee returns, Will does what he is instructed; to the quip about the Wompa, he responds, "You should see the other guy." And as he lays down, Master Grynt lays hands on his fresh wounds-- And Will gasps at the sudden rush of outpour of the Force permeating through her and into his wounds. Instinctually, like a sea urchin recoiling, reflexively guards his mind and heart from intrusion. a skilled Force user would notice the block, and feel the Force cascade over itself, like water lopping at the edge of the pool. .Will's face portrayed nothing but the agitation typical with the procedure.
At the end of his treatment, Grynt quips with Will, and Will quips back. Another screwed up look on his face, and with 'man of the house' vibe "Mother?. . What? you think that I am afraid of that tiny twi'lek? I used to run this place too, ya'know?" Will's eyes meets those of the Mirilian's and seeing as she is not impressed, what with her being in attendance to his would-be 'reign' of the academy, she knows better; he rolls his eyes. "MASTER Roma has already ordered me to do just that, Sharee; and plans to plant me back in the classroom like the old days. But trust me when I tell you, the only 'strenuous' work I would like to do is on a case of Corellian ale with Master Frantz; have you seen Mikey around, anyhow?"

Attentive enough to both the moods of her patients and the varied ways in which Force healing can be received, or in some instances resisted either instinctively or otherwise, Sharee is also old enough and possessed with a depth of experience as a healer than she can make an educated guess as to why Will's response to her ministrations may have been colored by no small amount of guarding himself, and though she does not comment on it given that she has known Will long enough to know that, historically at any rate, his reaction to any attempt on her part to prod, however well intentioned the prodding, whatever spiritual wounds he may have sustained along with his physical injuries, would not be dissimilar to the instinctive erection of barriers her Force healing had been met with, she does assume a less bantering, more gentle and open tone going forward so that it is evident to him that she is not unaware of the fact that he has been through much, and is there for him should he ever desire to set his emotional armor aside.
Lifting her hands as though in apology for having adopted a less sober tone than might have been advisable, Sharee shows no sign of having taken offense to Will's gruff reminders of his role at the academy as she says, "Forgive me, then, for having given you advice you had already been given, Will. Pleased that Will sounds intent on spending time in the company of a friend, even if Corellian ale is involved and the friend in question has not been, to her knowledge, seen at the academy in some time, rather than on brooding alone, Sharee shakes her head as she says in a mildly concerned tone, I have not seen Master Frantz recently, no. Sorry to have been the bearer of possibly disturbing news even though Mike's frequent unexplained absences are common enough that there is little reason to suppose that this latest one is any less innocuous or easily explained as those that came before it, Sharee suggests, Perhaps Moth . . . Master Roma would not be averse to joining you? Or, she tilts her head to the side as it occurs to her that Will might prefer the company of another male to that of the female Twi'lek, the latter being a close friend that Will might not want to concern with his woes where the former is not as likely to incite such concerns given that he is not quite as close to will as Master Roma so far as Sharee knows, Knight Ashton? To my knowledge he has never been one to turn from arduous tasks such as the one you have in mind."

Will sits up and begins putting his clothes back on as Sharee wraps up her healing. He hops off the bed as the Master Healer begins running through options of drinking buddies for Will. The Corellian Jedi Master wags her off dismissively, as he regards the bloodied and torn aqua blue flight suit, and aggressively removes it and throws it in the biohazard bin with the surgeons scrubs. "Nah, Sharee. I will check in with Ashton in my own time. But i think it would be pertinent to get a clean and a steam." Without much more, Will gives a wink and a Corellian smirk, and leaving with an affectionate squeeze on the Mirilian's arm and brushes past her, in his undergarment and all its glory.

Luon So eventually found her way to the infirmary, an effort made more difficult by the fact that she had forgotten her datapad in her quarters. Looking around, she found the nearest person who looked liked they belonged in the Infirmary and got their attention before speaking. "Excuse me, I was supposed to meet Master Hedreghar this morning for some training but I'm afraid that I have yet to meet him and am unfamiliar with who I am looking for. If you could direct me to him I would be most appreciative." Her movements were slightly less steady without her force pike to lean on, and her eyes were clear indicators of how little rest she had gotten the night before. Most damning to anyone who was trained in the Force, however, was the aura of distress, unease, and darkness that emanated from the young Kaminoan.

A younger apprentice in the green robes of a Corellian Jedi was addressed by the new visitor to the infirmary. With a smile he directed her down the hallway of the infirmary a little ways to a room clearly designed for training. Inside there was class of younglings who were more often than not taller than their teacher. At the head of the class a mostly grey furred ancient Drall stood talking in a high pitched, but very kind voice. The force is a wondrous thing. Most people think about it and they imagine the jumping, and the telekinesis. You know, the flashy stuff. The problem with that thinking though is that it's so limited. Yes they can be useful aspects but that's not really what a Jedi is. A Jedi works with the force to accomplish great things and when you learn to work with it instead of trying to tame it you can do wondrous things. The Drall man pulls out a plain but obviously well made scalpel and without warning uses it to create a shallow, but long cut down the length of his furry forearm. The children began gasping at the sight, but then the shock turns to amazement as before their eyes the wound closes on it's own leaving hairless and scarless new skin where the cut had been. Hedreghar opens his eyes looking suddenly more tired than he had been as he wipes the blood and shows the students his arm, a broad smile crossing his face at their amazement. After a few more minutes of explanation about the specifics of cell regeneration and a very stern "do not try this at home" the children began filing out and the old Drall turns his kind eyes toward the Kaminoan, the wide smile spreading across his face once again. You must be Luon So, our newest visitor. It is a pleasure to meet you. He walks forward with surprising grace for a being his age and reaches his hand up for a handshake, the very obvious height difference between the two not seeming to bother him. Welcome to the Corellian Jedi Academy. I am Master Hedreghar, on of the healers here. Knight Flint informed me you would be stopping by. He said you may have some interest in what we do here? His eyes lift as a polite questioning expression crosses his face.

Luon So watched the end of the lesson silently, her eyes widening ever so slightly as she watched the long cut close itself in moments where even with bacta it would have taken hours to heal normally. Listening with rapt fascination as Hedreghar discussed the finer points of cell regeneration, she found herself wondering why her people had not tried to encourage Force sensitivity if the Force could work such miracles. Perhaps she might not have lost her legs if she had had access to Force healers she thought bitterly as the emotion edged into her aura and her lips shifted into a barely perceptible scowl. As the class filtered out, she pushed the bitterness aside and stepped forward to meet the Drall Jedi, her durasteel prosthetics clinking audibly with each graceful step. Wobbling slightly at the hips as she bent to shake the Drall's proffered hand, Luon So straightened and spoke. "Thank you Master Hedreghar. You would be correct; I am Luon So, and the pleasure is mutual. I must say that your lesson on the specifics of cellular regeneration was fascinating; I studied the basics of cellular replication and regeneration as part of my education but such specialized knowledge was saved for medical students and cloners, not geneticists. As for what Knight Flint told you that is correct; I would like to learn how to use the Force, and as a geneticist we felt that healing was likely the closest discipline to my field of expertise. I must admit to not having any formal training in the Force; I only discovered my gifts less than a month ago and had to develop what little ability I have on my own..." Her uncontrolled aura certainly lent credence to her claims of being untrained. Her present excitement was tinged with bitterness from her earlier thoughts, as well as lingering traces of the fear, uncertainty, and frustration that she had felt as a result of her nightmares during the night. None of those emotions were visible on her face or in her body language, but to a Jedi such as Hedreghar she was an open book emotionally.

The Drall Jedi Master felt a slurry of emotions from Luon So, but his face maintained it's smile. He had met many a troubled adept in the way of the force. If they were not found young there was often a large amount of baggage that came with them. It was all part of the cycle of life. His grey fur almost seemed to ripple as he moved to a nearby table and took a seat, gesturing for her to sit across from him. Jared is a bit ignorant to the differences between genetics and medicine, but I think we might still have a good basis for getting things started for you, bridging what you already know with your unknown abilities can help you gain control. The force can be an amazing tool when employed properly, but it can be destructive if not properly tempered with knowledge. You have received no formal training but obviously there is a lot you could have discovered in a month. Why don't we start with what you've already discovered about the Force and move from there? It was an open invititation for discussion. The honest Drall's face displayed interest, but he was not going to push her to explore anything that hurt too much, but he was a willing non-judgmental ear to hear what she had learned, and hopefully build on that base so she could understand these new and quite frankly very frightening abilities.

Luon So stood quietly for a long moment, pondering as she thought about her gifts and experiences thus far for the first time. Finally, she spoke with a slight hesitation that betrayed her uncertainty. "...I don't know much I'm afraid. It often seems slow to respond when I call upon it, and it often helps to try and visualize the flow of energy as I gather it. It's very exhausting though; I've only used the Force a total of two times now, and that was within a short period of time..." She trailed off, thinking some more as she tried to come up with more that she knew about the Force before resuming as she resorted to more clinical lines of thought in her efforts to come up with some sort of answer. "...I mean, I am fairly well versed in the concept of midi-chlorians and how higher concentrations of the mitochondrial symbiotes have a strengthening effect on an individual's connection to the Force, but there aren't many peer-reviewed studies of that aspect of the Force and it seems that most scientists and researchers don't have much of an interest in that field. I did manage to successfully clone Midi-chlorians as part of my graduating thesis, but there aren't many clients who are interested in custom genomes featuring Force sensitivity so I haven't had much of a chance to put my thesis work into actual practice..." Her voice picked up a slight tone of excitement as she rambled on about science, betraying her emotions in a way that would have embarrassed her had she realized she was doing it.
She paused, trailing off as she realized that she had gotten distracted from what she suspected was the point of Hedreghar's question. With a quick, submissive bow of her head Luon So spoke again. "My apologies Master Hedreghar; I am sure that you are well aware of such knowledge and are instead interested in my knowledge of the more...metaphysical aspects of the Force. Unfortunately beyond what I've already mentioned there isn't much else that I know about the Force. The month since I discovered my gifts was spent dwelling on...less pleasant thoughts, and thus I haven't put much thought into my abilities..." She paused, her eyes shifting almost imperceptibly to the side in a subtle show of discomfort. Her thoughts drifted back to her nightmares the night before as she wondered if she should mention them to the Jedi. Her emotional aura shifted rapidly from the excitement that had taken over it as she spoke of her thesis to a roiling mess of fear and uncertainty as she remembered how uncomfortable she had felt as a result of the experience.

The ancient Drall smiled as she spoke with obvious enthusiasm about her knowledge. It was good to feel something other than uncertainty and fear coming from her. Her coming of age with the force had been traumatic for her certainly but glimpses of moments like that show what she was like before all of these events came crashing down on her. Nodding slightly as she finished, returning back to the uncertain sense he had felt before he spoke up, his squeaky voice seeming out of place with his advanced age. You are correct, midi-chlorians are the means in which we are able to feel the force, but it has little to do with what it actually is. Taking a deep breath the Jedi continues with another warm smile. It is an energy field that connects all living things. It moves through us and surrounds us. We can use it to an extent but it is far more than a simple tool. I suspect that some of your problem with using it is that you're trying to manipulate it without feeling it. It's like trying to take a blood sample while blind, you're going to do something, but it's not likely to have the effect that you wish. Closing his eyes he reaches out to the force, allowing it to give him a picture of the world around him, feeling the students in the corridors nearby, the medical staff working to stave off disease and fix injuries, and the deeper life of the insects and plants that find ways to thrive ven on the academy grounds. Without opening up his eyes he continues. Before you can truly use the force you have to learn to really feel it. It's something you have to find for yourself since it works a little differently for everyone, but you have to learn to relax and let it come to you rather than trying to reach out and grasp for it. It's counter intuitive, but with practice you can get the hang of it. Eyes still closed he gestures for her to join him. Close your eyes and try to open yourself up to the Force's Light.

Luon So listened intently, trying to soak up whatever she could from the small Jedi's words. As he described the Force as an energy field that connected all living things, the Kaminoan could not help but to wonder if there was any relation or interaction with the natural electro-magnetic fields which were generated by most organic lifeforms. An experiment for another time perhaps, once she had learned to better sense the Force itself. Walking over to where Master Hedreghar stood, she awkwardly tried to find a way to sit on the floor next to him, hoping to lower herself physically to his level, only to have her new prosthetics throw off her balance and cause her to drop the final meter to land on her knees with an awkward grunt. She tried to stifle the groan of pain that the shock to the joints where her durasteel legs met her hips caused, with only partial success, and winced visibly at the unpleasant sensations which resulted. Forcing a stoic expression onto her face, the young Kaminoan closed her eyes and tried to ignore the lingering pain as she tried to...how had the Jedi put it...open herself up to the Force.
Sitting there in the infirmary next to the Drall Jedi, Luon So tried to open herself up to the Force but found herself struggling. Without the distraction of vision her ears seemed to pick up every little sound around them, while her nose picked up the lingering traces of acrid cleaning chemicals mixed with the sweet scent of Bacta. The latter smell soured her mood again, sending her mind back to the unpleasant experiences which had resulted in her coming to Corellia, and for a brief moment she could have sworn that she felt a darkness as her mind dwelt on what had happened to her. As quickly as the faint sensation had entered her awareness it left again, overwhelmed by her thoughts and the sensory stimuli around her, leaving her frustrated at her inability to sense the Force around her. Opening her eyes again with a subtle sigh of annoyance, the Kaminoan glanced to Hedreghar for a moment before speaking. "I'm sorry Master Hedreghar; I'm just not feeling anything like what you described. All I am sensing are the sounds and smells around us..." She trailed off in thought, mulling over the experience she had just had, before adding to her statement. "...For a moment I felt...something...but I don't think I'd describe it as being light..."

*She inhaled abruptly and her eyes opened to the stark white of the infirmary walls. To say the room was cold, would not be quite accurate, but it wasn't warm either. Gooseflesh rippled along her arms as she let her senses reorient to her surroundings.
She was currently alone, the hum of the bacta tanks and overhead lights providing the only sounds she could hear. There was the acrid aroma of the bacta along with other cleaning smells that assaulted her. She found that she could wiggle her fingers and toes with no problem, only a strange fatigue seemed to have hold of her muscles. She attempted to prop herself up on her elbows, and half succeeded.
A strand of hair swung down into her face, pale and colorless. She startled a little at this. Normally her hair was a vibrant green and wild, not dank and lifeless... How long? She thought to herself. She coughed and started to inspect what else she could move.
She gazed across the narrow bed. A blanket had been drawn up to her chin but had fallen down when she moved. Her arms looked almost as pale as her hair, the vibrant blue and silver patterns dull, the creamy whites greyish. She blinked and tried to reach out to the Force...
Where once there was vibrant color and life, resounded a blank dead space devoid of the feeling of connectivity and power that thrummed throughout the galaxy. There was silence, darkness, pain? She thought about this a moment. There was a slight burn as her mind unfolded along the once familiar path to the energy field. That path was closed to her now. She did not like it.
Not because she could not feel raw power at her fingertips, but because she had grown accustomed to hearing the heart beat of the universe. The silence would drive her crazy, though she found it amusing that the sheer amount of voices had once driven her to the edge of insanity. She would have to resort to her physical senses since the Force was closed to her.* "Hello?"
