Mahela unties the hooded running jacket she had worn around her waist while jogging as she enters the dining hall, and is moving her head tails aside as she puts the jacket on when she sees Aidan waving to her. Returning the Gupin's wave after she zips up the jacket, Mahela joins him and the other two Jedi students that she had met the previous evening.
"Good morning, Mahela tells the three Jedi students as she reaches the table, and then explains, Saoirse should be here soon. We ran into Grandmaster Vyridian on our way here. Gesturing towards the buffet area, Mahela says, I will be right back after I get something to eat," and then makes her way to the buffet.
Returning to the table after getting a plate of mixed fruit and a glass of juice, Mahela sits down and then, after letting Veda know how the holovid she and Saoirse had been watching last night ended, points to the door when she sees that Saoirse and the Vyridian twins are entering the dining hall and says, "There she is now."

Aidan smiles when Mahela arrives and informs them that Saoirse will be coming soon, his smile staying but becoming a bit less confident when she goes on to say that she and Saoirse had been talking with Grandmaster Vyridian. After Mahela has gone to get her breakfast, Aidan leans forward and tells Bria and Veda, "You know, it occurs to me just now that perhaps it might be best if, provided Saoirse and Mahela have not already mentioned it, we keep our plan to . . ."
Bria, arching an eyebrow, corrects the Gupin, "Your plan. If you recall, I was . . ."
Waving his hand impatiently, Aidan tells the Kage, "Yes, yes, my plan, whatever. As I was saying, I think it . . ."
Smiling and arching an eyebrow in amusement while looking at Aidan over the rim of her mug as she sips her stimcaf, Bria guesses, "You would rather Grandmaster Vyridian not know your intent to consult Mister En. . ."
"He Who Must Not Be Named, hisses Aidan while waving his three fingered hands downward to suggest that Bria keep her voice down, You know how the Grandmaster feels about He Who . . ."
Nodding while continuing to look as though Aidan's worry amuses her greatly, Bria agrees, "Why, yes, Aidan, yes I do know how the Grandmaster feels. Perhaps he has just cause for . . ."
Aidan, moving his hand back and forth in front of his throat to suggest Bria terminates the conversation as Mahela is returning, says quietly, "Duly noted, now just keep quiet about it, please," sighing in relief when Bria rolls her golden eyes in a way he interprets as tacit agreement to keep his plan to themselves.
Veda, after listening to Mahela's description of the ending of the holovid she and Saoirse had been watching last night, turns towards where the Togruta is pointing when she announces that Saoirse has arrived, smiles unseen beneath the part of her headscarf that she had lifted up over her mouth and nose after finishing her breakfast, as she says primarily to playfully torment Aidan, "Oh look, Grandmaster Vyridian and the Vice Governor are with her as well. I wonder what they were talking about?"
"Ha ha, Aidan intones without sounding at all amused, then adds with as stern an expression as he can muster, Not a word, remember?"
Veda shrugs as she replies enigmatically, "We'll see."

Prior to walking towards the dining hall, which no doubt would have plenty of people, something that might make him cringe all the same, Andros just figured he'd focus on what his brother had told him. No, obviously retrieving his lightsabers wasn't the only purpose of his presence here. Of course, Andros was quite aware that he also needed all of the Councilors to key in their biometrics along with his to open that particular vault that held his weapons. It was a long time ago Andros' request, a sort of contingency for a reason that was his own and the MO's Councilors. Considering his alignment last time, and considering his temperament, but also that ultimate request he had asked from Mace, there was a very good reason why he was asking if the Kiffar Master was planetside for only she actually carried the weight of that particular decision. Plus Andros needed to request another thing from her. After all, Mace was at some point also his instructor in the past, and if he walked the way of the Force once more, he had to make it absolutely certain to not cross that proverbial line.
However his musings was cut short when he heard Saoirse's questions to him, though not some questions he could reply at present time, which he actually was thankful for that. Though in that brief intermission while the Zabrak was talking with some of the initiates, Andros looked at his brother and shook his head. "You already know the answer to that question of yours, Atlantis." Knowing that he didn't need to expound his statement nor did he need to state it all out, Andros was pretty sure that his brother could guess where he was going with this. "To what you have said earlier, also. No, it's not at all." Looking right before him as they had reached the dining hall, Andros' eyes narrowed and he placed his hand on the door looking at the Zabrak as he shook his head before extending his hand up front to let her know that she should go ahead first.
However remembering some of questions, for all intents and purposes, Andros had decided to reply to the doppelganger situation. "No to your last series of question." He replied neutrally. There was no warmth nor there was any aggressiveness in his tone, he just replied flatly and just kept it as such, after all that was often his tone to whomever he did not know and whomever who didn't need to know about his life story. Though a while ago he definitely could call upon the Force and create a doppelganger, but now since it had been a while he practiced that art, it probably went to the hell no category, though any passive Force powers, that he still knew how to use but not the massive ones unlike his brother.
Glancing at his brother once again with an arched eyebrow, probably to show his amusement despite his glaring expression. Andros focused exclusively on his brother so that Atlantis was the only one that could hear this. Your apprentice, or Franz's? Andros just knew that potentially Atlantis and or Franz could stomach a person like Saoirse who seemed to have many questions, after all, Andros didn't know the Zabrak's life story either saved for the fact that she is, was one of the limmie players for the University and ever since she stepped down from the team, it hadn't been going that well for them, he supposed.
Preferring to follow his brother's lead on this one, Andros just walked over to the beverages selection and grabbed some coffee and pastries for him to consume.

It might have been a while since he and Saoirse had talked about this, and maybe she had forgotten. It was fine with him, not everyone would remember unimportant exchanges he supposed, especially when it had no impact on her. Nonetheless Atlantis did give her a side glance along with a smile, as he was pretty sure that his brother would probably not answer that question of hers about why he had gone into politics. Still the question remained though, why his brother did stick with it for so long. Atlantis supposed that it was one of his brother's ways to paying back to the planet one way or another, even if at some point the press did a number on him and painted him as a cold-hearted killer. Needless to say, Atlantis just blinked once and just shook his head slightly to let her know that she might not get any answer and he would fill her later.
He and Andros had different temperament, even if his brother seemed much more approachable than before, there were still so areas where he wouldn't be overt at all with just anyone. Knowing Andros again, considering that his brother did not know Saoirse, he wouldn't go into details, and would probably play that political game or just answering the question without going further. Which was what Andros did when he answered some Saoirse's questions. At that point though Atlantis was just silent and did not overtly indicate any reactions to what his brother said to him. How he and Andros interacted, that was another matter entirely. It was always straight to the point, not needing to explain, not needing to say more, lest they were alone, and currently that wasn't the case.
Smiling soon enough when he saw some of the younglings making some plans with Saoirse, Atlantis nodded his head on the side when Andros gestured for Saoirse to actually go first while hearing his brother's question. Mine, primarily. Was the only private response he gave to his brother though he was more looking at where the students were situated in the dining hall, and evidently, he wasn't surprised to find Mahela with Aidan, Bria, and Veda. After all earlier Mahela mentioned about seeing if Aidan was here, though something told him that there was something more happening than meets the eyes. He was after all updated by Franz, and yes, he was very aware of what was going on in this Academy after all.
After making a detour to the hot beverages with his brother, and pulling a seat for Saoirse next to Mahela, Atlantis moved to the other side after giving his brother a meaningful expression to come sit with them as this might probably interest him maybe. Plus he wanted to see how his brother would react, he guessed that this was the start of a test for Andros to see if he was truly ready.
"Good morning." Atlantis smiled as he took a seat facing them. "Master Delgrave told me a few things." He purposely left it at that and didn't say anything more, instead he asked with an arched eyebrow zeroing his gaze on the three padawans equally. "How is your investigation coming along?"

Saoirse catches the look Atlantis gives her after she asks his brother about why he chose politics over teaching at the academy, guessing that they have talked about the subject before. With her ADHD Saoirse has difficulty at times retaining information that she does not make an active effort to move to her long term memory, and while she remembers learning that Andros was the Vice Governor, she cannot think of any details about how he came into that role other than something about it involving the raceways. In any event, with Andros appearing to ignore the question, Saoirse supposes that she will have to accept that his motivations will have to be filed in the mystery category when his answer to her question about his ability to make duplicates is less than forthcoming and delivered in a way that makes her feel as though he is not in the mood for any more questions. Mahela has told Saoirse on more than one occasion that her curiosity can sometimes make her miss out on cues about the moods of others, and as she thinks back on the moments before she asked her questions, Saoirse recalls that Andros had come for a specific purpose, and that his demeanor was very purposeful.
Feeling bad about having not recognized that Andros, not unlike his twin, looked preoccupied, Saoirse just nods in response to the Vice Governor's silent suggestion, which feels more like an order, that she goes in the dining hall first even though she had been trying to be polite by holding the door for him and Atlantis. Telling herself to make a conscious effort to dial down her her usual chipper and probably mildly hyperactive behavior out of respect for whatever both Andros and Atlantis have going on that has them both seeming preoccupied, Saoirse sits down in the chair Atlantis pulls out for her next to Mahela.
Giving Atlantis a smile to silently thank him for pulling out the chair for her, Saoirse steals a few slices of fruit from Mahela's plate and munches on them as she waits to hear how Aidan answers the question about his investigation.

Bria starts to speak first after Atlantis joins them and asks how the investigation into Lavigne and the stolen mask is going, sighing as she admits, "It has hit a bit of a dead end. . ."
Veda, having already started to speak as Bria began speaking, not realizing they are talking over one another, is saying, "Not very well, I'm afraid . . ."
Aidan, believing the question to have been directed at him as, technically speaking, Master Franz assigned the investigation to him, Veda and Bria both having simply agreed to help him in whatever they could out of an espris de corps that is not uncommon among the Jedi Initiates and Padawans of the Mist Order, dramatically announces right over his friends replies, "The game is afoot, Grandmaster Vyridian, sir! It is true, he gives Bria and Veda both a glance that is equal parts annoyed and amused as he lifts an index finger aloft and declares, that the fiend has slipped the net for the moment, but I am quite confident that I will soon have his scent again! Rest assured, Grandmaster Vyridian, sir, that, with the Force as my witness, I shall not rest until Lavigne, and all those who have used him to advance their sinister, foul plot, have been brought to Justice, with their dastardly plans foiled!"
Resting her face in her palm, embarrassed by Aidan's customarily spirited and overly dramatic delivery, Bria shakes her head as she quietly mutters, "Oh, for the love of the Force."
Veda, always one to try and be supportive, smiles beneath her veil as she tells Atlantis, "It is true, Grandmaster, Aidan does have some ideas about how . . ."
Interrupting Veda before she says anything too revealing, Aidan says, "Ha ha! Yes, Grandmaster, sir, I have a few leads I intend to follow up on post haste that I am quite confident will reveal Lavigne's trail no matter how cleverly he might have tried to conceal his footsteps! I will use everything I have learned, every tool, every single lead and every clue, no matter how insignificant it might seem, at my disposal, to see this investigation through to the end! Lavigne will not escape justice for long, this I vow to the Force!"

Narrowing his gaze upon noticing his brother's meaningful expression, Andros' jaw locked briefly but that only lasted a fraction of a second before he relented and moved over next to Atlantis. Depositing his coffee cup and pastry on top of it on the table, Andros pulled a chair back silently and sat down, he didn't slouch, he didn't relax, and just sat there only inclining his head to the people he shared the table with. Andros didn't feel out of place, maybe he did a bit but he just sat there as he watched, or in this case listened attentively without looking anywhere in particular.
Investigation? Well that should be interesting.
Looking at the Gupin who had that penchant to over-express himself from the looks of it, Andros looked with no particular emotion to both of the female teenager who seemed to be a buffer in a sense to the Gupin. He was about to say something to his brother privately before the second overzealous statement from Aidan, which at that point got Andros to show a sense of emotion as he snapped his head towards his brother. "The art thief?" Not a question at all but more of a rhetorical statement. Andros wasn't one to meddle with the teachings, nor was he one to take any interests into those type of crimes, but he had heard about about those while in the office but also because of due to some talks here and there when he was meeting with the culture minister. Andros supposed he shouldn't be surprised if the Mist Order picked some of the open cases thusfar.
Well if that can be resolved, then good, if not, Andros supposed that would be a dud altogether. Picking up his coffee cup, Andros took a sip of it while intently looking at the Gupin. Actually something came to mind for Andros, and maybe that would offer him some new insight too about a complete different situation. "Tell me, Aidan." Andros didn't actually know his name before it had been spoken by the veiled Padawan learner. "How far are you willing to go to get those leads?" Putting his cup down slowly as he looked at each and everyone of the learners at this table, correction from his brief awareness in the Force, which of course indicated that he was indeed Force sensitive, and his signature resided in the gray area, the Togruta wasn't attuned to the Force. Andros breathed softly and actually addressed all of them present here, saved for Atlantis, he knew how far his brother would go, or at least Andros would know. "How far would all of you go, will you tempt everything even if you know that it might bring up some anger in the process?"
Andros had dabbled in a lot of things, as a former Corsec, as a former Sith, as now a Dark Jedi probably, only more as a politician now. Plus that question of his encompassed in the grander scale a lot of his dealings in the past that he still did not confessed. He already knew that some were quite aware of some of his orders, but being who they are, they never said a thing nor revealed those said things to anyone.

Blinking while smiling to Saoirse as a 'you're welcome', Atlantis slightly moved his gaze to his brother and didn't do anything further as he noticed Andros moving in his direction to sit while Atlantis moved his gaze to first Bria, then Veda before looking directly at Aidan. It wasn't just what the Gupin was saying that he was focused on, it was also his body language. He had to purse his lips though when Bria reacted the way she did, as usual to how Aidan was expressing himself. Atlantis was just peaceful and quite content just listening to them interacting, and he even raised his hand slightly, as he was about to speak but he stopped and put his hand down on the table once again.
Atlantis was very accustomed to his brother's intonations, and how he spoke. That was not a question at all, not the art thief question. Atlantis nonetheless just slightly nodded to confirm all the same. Since his brother had spoken, Atlantis just decided to stay his tongue for the time being, and just picked up his cup of coffee, taking a sip. While Atlantis did that, he briefly felt his brother's presence brighter in the Force. Atlantis guessed that potentially his brother was gauging something presently. Andros' question to first Aidan then all of them here, Atlantis actually wondered where his identical twin was going with this, but he had to admit that was a good question honestly which was why he looked at everyone and inclined his head as it to let them know that they were free to answer to their hearts' content if he could put it that way. But he also gave them the possibility to not answer now which was why he said. "If you aren't ready to reply to my brother's question right now because it's probably too early still, think about it for a bit and give us an answer before we are done with our caf." Smiling warmly, and yes Atlantis did use the word 'us' for he too was interested in their answer for probably a different reason to what Andros had.
His gaze was mainly locked on Aidan currently, while Atlantis did appreciate his enthusiasm as always, he knew that the one who wanted to be an investigator was probably diverting the attention to what truly was his future plan. Atlantis figured he'd just give him that, after all, like of course everyone had been instructed here, like how they are all instructed it was always to follow their guts and just persevere. "Subtleties, Aidan." Atlantis commented with an amused grin looking at Bria and Veda. Atlantis just knew from how Aidan somewhat either stopped Veda from talking to Bria's gesture earlier that clued him enough that he was in fact up to something whether Atlantis liked it or not, and for whatever reason, he'd give the Gupin that.
Taking his cup again for another sip, Atlantis gave Mahela an apologetic glance for potentially feeling uncomfortable right now.

Nudging Mahela gently in the ribs with her elbow as Aidan launches into one of his almost comically overly dramatic pronouncements after Atlantis asks how the investigation is going, Saoirse gauges from her friend's expression that the Togruta is not as amused by the Gupin as she is and immediately feels a pang of guilt. She doesn't exactly know Aidan well, but it does seem to Saoirse that beneath the histrionic way he expresses himself the Gupin is sincere in his desire to bring the art thief to justice and to stop whatever else might be involved in the theft of the mask Lavigne stole. And, Saoirse thinks as she pursues the thought further, who is she to laugh at how anyone expresses themselves when she has a habit of letting her curiosity and enthusiasm lead to verbal diarrhea? Giving Mahela an apologetic grin to let her know that she has understood the unspoken message behind her friend's look, Saoirse feels a bit better when the silent apology gets her a pat on the arm.
It isn't until Mahela elbows her in the ribs that Saoirse realizes that Andros' question for Aidan had an addendum that included everyone at the table, and as she starts to consider how she might answer, she feels a bit relieved when Atlantis says that no one has to answer right away. Taking the opportunity to think about her reply that Atlantis has given everyone, Saoirse almost immediately finds her thoughts turning to the talk she and Atlantis had after accidentally telepathically reading one of her former dorm mates from the University's ugly thoughts had led Saoirse to experience her first taste of what it was like to have anger coloring her use of the Force. Saoirse remembers how wild and uncontrolled the Force had felt when she lost her temper, but also how it made her more powerful while she was in the throes of her anger, and how dangerous it felt too. Saoirse wonders if being aware of that danger is what Andros is trying to look for in their answers, remembering Atlantis telling her that relying on anger to strengthen one's mastery of the Force would only lead to suffering. The fact that Andros included the word tempt in the question makes Saoirse think about how there was, after experiencing how much more easy and powerful her manipulation of the Force seemed while her anger had overcome her, an undeniable itch to explore just how much further rage could take her. The itch did not, for Saoirse, last long after her anger faded and she was able to compare how the Force felt so much warmer and steadying when she was focused and at peace with the wild, untamed and dangerous way it felt when she was not.
Mahela, giving Atlantis a slight shake of her head to let him know that she is not uncomfortable, rises from her seat all the same and says softly, "I am going to get some more juice," holding up her empty glass when Saoirse gives her an inquisitive look to silently ask if she is alright. As interested as she is in hearing how Saoirse will answer the question Andros asked, Mahela also knows it is possible that the Zabrak might answer differently if she stayed to avoid worrying her.
Saoirse spins a piece of the fruit she stole from Mahela's plate as, having decided to wait and see how Aidan, Bria and Veda answer the question before she does since they are more experienced than she is, she tries to think of ways to trim the fat from her own answer so that she does not wind up going on and on the way she sometimes does.

Despite the Grandmaster's offer to give them all a moment to ponder the question posed by the Vice Governor, Aidan is the first to reply. Nodding when Atlantis suggests that he be more subtle, which Aidan takes to mean that he should be more brief in his replies, Aidan folds his three fingered hands together on the table and composes himself before speaking. Looking Andros squarely in the eyes, the diminutive Gupin boldly reinforces his earlier assertions with calm and utter certainty, "I will go however far it takes, Vice Governor, to see the task that has been assigned to me through to its very end. There is nothing but resolve in Aidan's tone, flowery as his delivery may be, and that resolve is every bit as firm within his mind should anyone seek to peer into it; Aidan does not often discuss the events which led to his departure from his people's colony on Endor, but those events have left him with an unquenchable thirst for justice that drives him to become a Jedi Guardian with a passion he has never felt the need to conceal. Addressing the second part of Andros' question, Aidan says with a cool confidence that is based on both personal experience and the teachings he has learned at the Mist Order Academy, I know how to control my emotions, Vice Governor. I do not fear my anger, and will never give in to it."
Bria is the next to speak, resting her chin atop the knuckles of her right hand as, more cautious in nature than Aidan, she tells Andros, "I don't think your question can really be answered, sir, until we find out just what kind of challenges, or temptations, lay in store. Glancing at Aidan apologetically, Bria explains, While I share Aidan's belief that I have learned to keep my emotions in check, I have never really been tested. With a shrug of her shoulders more indicative of surrendering to facts rather than not taking the matter seriously, Bria asks rhetorically, Can anyone truly say how they will react to the challenges or temptations the future may have in store for them?"
Veda, chewing on her lower lip beneath her veil - not in nervousness but rather as it is a habit she has formed when gathering her thoughts - when it is her turn to speak, tells Andros, "I think, together, we would be able to keep one another from falling from the Light no matter what may come, sir. We all want to do our duty, and will do whatever is required of us, and while we might not know what that might mean we need to face, so long as we face it together, I am sure that we will prevail so long as we do not forget what we have learned."

Spoken, actually answered with candor based on their temperament no doubt. Andros only had been briefly seated here and he already an idea on how the ones had answered carried themselves. However Andros stayed expressionless, and despite his neutral feature currently, the sole indication that he was actually indeed paying attention was him looking at each individuals when they spoke. Nonetheless each of their answers definitely gave him a solid idea on the teachers' influences at this Academy. A reason why he briefly turned his gaze to his identical twin and actually gave him a brief smile and relaxed gaze. Regaining his composure soon enough though and reverting back to his usual self if they could call it that, Andros looked at Saoirse and tilted his head briefly on the side. Andros figured that maybe this, and by this, it meant the Zabrak was only made aware of her sensitive recently and probably wasn't too sure about her answer her.
No bother, not to him, despite Atlantis' assurances that they all had until their caf was done. "For all of your answers..." Andros began to say before actually genuinely smirking. At least he had a smirk on the corner of his lips, and only then he added on. "Thank you. And you are," Looking at Saoirse with a meaningful expression "Under no obligation to answer, lest you are sure and comfortable with what you want to say?"
Andros left it at that. He already knew where Aidan's heart was set, when it came to both Bria and Veda, although names that he did not know for actually he didn't introduce himself, and they already knew him at the Vice Governor, he had been the one who showed no interest to begin with until their answers actually resonated to him. "You are right though, there is no right or wrong answer so to speak for in the end external occurrences can or will come into play." Andros closed his eyes briefly and shook his head lightly. "Having one another to keep you in check is always a good thing." Sighing briefly, he indeed wished he had that back then, but again back then it was just him and his brother and comrades from Corsec, it was years after that things had changed.
"If we, or at least me, had more of that back then, I probably wouldn't have nearly killed your Grandmaster." Andros revealed with no apprehension at all, and perhaps they knew, maybe not. At least, Andros was pretty sure that his brother wouldn't just say Andros' name outright concerning that stab wound under his thorax. Looking back clearly remembering that day when he met that certain person who slowly and gradually infected his mind with doubts during one of his solo mission. Andros gritted his teeth as his gaze darkened. "So I might be biased here because I personally know all of your Masters here, but trust me when I say that whatever trials or teachings they put you through is for your own betterment." Andros probably didn't need to say that, as they already knew all of that, but he supposed that he was one of the few examples that showed that each of their influence brought him back from that opposite side of the Force's spectrum...

Indicating with a slight nod that he understood what Mahela was conveying there, Atlantis only smiled. He showed no other expression but just a smile especially when he was actually grateful for the Togruta's presence too, for Saoirse's sake. Mahela kept Saoirse grounded in a big way and always managed to get her to focus. Atlantis was picking up on those little things, as for all he knew he might need those small discreet cues down the line. He also had to admit that Andros' question and the response the learners were giving put his mind and soul at ease, which probably showed at how placidly Atlantis was sitting here as he listened attentively.
What came next from Andros though, Atlantis wasn't expecting that at all, not only his brother had been keeping the conversation up in a sense, but Andros also dropped that bomb so to speak about Atlantis' stab. It got him to look at his brother impassively, this time around, despite the fact that Atlantis noticed earlier that Andros had actually smirked genuinely.
Well, then... Atlantis thought before actually chuckling silently in a way and shaking his head, he was dumbfounded right that moment he had to admit but then his expression remained relaxed. "It's the truth, Andros and I were at opposite sides at that particular point in our lives." Atlantis knew that they were all smart and would undeniably know by now that the one he called the 'Sith that stabbed him and left him for dead before being saved by someone' was in fact his brother. "He nearly killed me, and around that time actually Master Vos had been the one who tracked him down." Not Ayla no, but Mace and from what Atlantis recalled Mace had found him in Anzat, and that infamous line was carved in stone, at least for him when he had talked with Mace back in Anobis about why the Kiffar Master had spared Andros and even took him under her mantle.
That memory came rushing back to his mind, it was several years ago, and Atlantis remembered also saying that infamous line to someone here a few years ago. He supposed that if it weren't for what he and brother went through, Atlantis probably wouldn't be who he was now or shown some clemency altogether. That memory aside though, whatever had been said between Mace and Andros that was their story, but for his case that was actually when he started to learn how to ask for help or even trust again in the process. Which was the reason why after his brief pause Atlantis looked at them all with a warm smile.
"Just remember to never ever turn away help, or even ask for help." Atlantis much like Andros back then were just young and arrogant altogether he guessed, and if it weren't for some of the people Atlantis had met, personally, they wouldn't be here probably. "As you have mentioned Aidan you will go however far it takes, just remember that along the way your actions will always have consequences, and I know you do have your anger in check, but think of the other variables as well." He knew he wasn't that forthcoming in his statement, and as far as interpreting those, he often let that to the learners to come to their own conclusion.

On one hand, Saoirse is glad that she decided to wait and see how the other Jedi students answer first since they way both Andros and Atlantis reply once they have each done so leaves her with the impression that she was not too far off in guessing what it was that the question was aimed at learning. On the other hand, however, Saoirse is far from confident that her own answer would offer anything additional to what Aidan and the others have said. At best Saoirse feels that her answer would only be a variation on what Bria and Veda had said given that she is no where near as confident as Aidan sounds about her ability to control her emotions since she has only just begun to learn the importance of doing so for Force sensitives that don't want to risk falling to the Dark Side, but she feels like as long as she has the more experienced students to rely on she is in less danger as Veda had said.
Then, too, there is the startling revelation about how Andros had nearly killed his twin before being tracked down by Mace. Saoirse is pretty sure that she is not alone in being shocked to learn that bit of history, and it naturally brings a few dozen questions to her mind. It does not seem like the right time to ask any of those questions, however, and the memory of how Andros had responded to her last set of questions is still fresh enough in her mind that Saoirse finds it easier to hold her tongue than she might otherwise have.
Feeling like she should at least say something in reply to the question Andros had posed, in part because she doesn't want to embarrass Atlantis any more than she might already have, and in part because it is not in her nature to back down from a question that seems like an even more pointed one now, Saoirse says, "I, um, don't think that I have much to add to what everyone has already said, still seeming a bit shocked by having learned about little bit about the twin's past history, but I agree with Bria and Veda. About, you know, not knowing how you might do if you were tested. Her own experience with feeling the way anger could lead one down the path of the Dark Side seems almost silly in light of what Andros has experienced, and so she doesn't mention it, going on instead, But, um, like Veda said, I think we'd all have each other's backs, so, you know, that would make it easier to stay on the right side of things." Nodding to conclude, Saoirse scratches her left temple under one of the vestigial horns crowning her head, wishing she had sounded a little more confident, and that she was better at expressing herself, but also feeling a bit relieved that she answered instead of just sitting there since, if nothing else, it means that they all understand where they each are coming from.

The pleased, in the cases of Veda and Aidan, or relieved, in the case of Bria, expressions on the trio of young Jedi students are plain to see when Andros tells them that there were no incorrect answers to his question. The students are all, however, visibly surprised when Andros goes on to reveal that he had nearly killed his own brother in the past, which Atlantis confirms shortly thereafter. All shown signs of understanding the point that Andros had been making about the advantage of having others to keep one in check, and that his assertion that the lessons they have learned from the instructors at the Mist Order Academy are, no matter how difficult they might seem to some at times, aimed at making them better Jedi and individuals; the fact that Andros had obviously been brought back from the place he had been in when he tried to kill Atlantis by those same teachers and teachings as sound and undeniable an endorsement as one could want.
Veda pats Saoirse on the back after the Zabrak has added her own answer to those the others had given, telling her, "We will have your back, Saoirse, don't worry."
Aidan, looking reflective for a moment after Atlantis cautions him to be mindful of the potential consequences of his actions as well as of the need to account for other variables even though he is willing to go however far he needs to go to complete his task, says somberly, "I understand, Grandmaster. Lifting the first of three fingers of his right hand into the air, he proclaims confidently with his usual dramatic flair, I shall take no action without those very concerns firmly in mind, this I swear before you and the Force now!"
Resting her chin on her hand, an index finger over her lips to conceal her amused smile, Bria says, "And Aidan has no trouble at all asking for help. In fact . . ."
Interrupting Bria for fear of what she might reveal before he is ready for it to be revealed, Aidan laughs heartily, "Ha ha! Yes, I have learned my lessons well about the value of teamwork, Grandmaster. In fact, I asked Saoirse for her help in gaining access to the fiend Lavigne's datapad. She was able to uncover not only incontrovertible proof of Lavigne's guilt, but also that he had cleared out his bank accounts prior to the UPD raid on his home. The wily, dastardly fiend is on the run, yes, but we will find him, I am sure of it."

Mace did track him down alright, and definitely did more than that as well. Andros remembered that encounter clear as day, for all of his bravado back then, for everything he had been spouting at her, Andros remembered that she never talked, at least not verbally as they crossed blades. No matter what he did or how he tried to get the upper hand, it appeared to him that she had anticipated his every move, countered all of his actions until that moment he had found himself on his knees disarmed did she finally talk to him, not orally but through the Force...
As all of the encounters he had in his life, that was one of those fixed points that he will never forget at all. Though that was completely irrelevant for now to what was being said, or shared now by the others. Probably one of the reasons why he currently had a relaxed posture as he took a sip of his caf as he noticed all of their reactions to that revelation of his. Inclining his head in approval, not that they needed his approval whatsoever as Andros was in no way their Master, even if he held that rank at one point, Andros just looked from Aidan who went by his usual delivery after preventing Brian from saying anything more.
Turning his head slightly to his brother, and addressing him privately through the Force once again with an amused demeanor paired with a noticeable smile. Aidan is hiding something, isn't he? Subtlety not his stronger suit from the looks of it. Raising his head once again and looking at Aidan placidly, Andros said nothing whatsoever as that wasn't his place at all though he did look at Saoirse with thoughtful gaze. "That is one of the many reasons I do not teach here." He told her answering one of her questions, after his revelation that had been corroborated by Atlantis, well Andros was not ready. "I'd rather deal with non Force related issues for now, instead of be drawn into it while not ready yet." As for why politics, action, consequences, that was all there was. His decision had been a consequence to prevent something down the line. Umgul's future was so to speak in jeopardy and back then the Republic had been all but in disarray.
Taking a sip of his coffee, and actually finishing it, Andros put his cup down and breathed slightly, comfortably too, as he glanced briefly around wondering if as per usual one of the people he had been looking for was actually just standing there or just listening to what was being said, currently.

Not the kind of person to interrupt, Mace was leaning against the dining hall’s doorframe when her gaze locked with Andros’. Her presence in the Force was always masked, of course, and therefore no one would probably exactly know how long she had been standing there, or how much she heard or didn’t hear. Fact was, she never exactly needed to hear what people were saying, their minds did the talking for her.
That was one of the facet of hers that she never revealed. One of her innate abilities, she was a telepath, and all the time, she had to focus herself to not let that ability of hers roam free, but this wasn’t one of those times, especially when she had previously heard from where she was her name being thought as it was spoken no doubt by Andros.
That one lingering question about Atlantis’ stab wound that had been going on in the Academy, no more further mysteries there. That actually got Mace to slightly smile before finally inclining her head towards Andros.
Pushing away from the doorframe and walking over towards the beverages still available, Mace found herself next to a Togruta, Mahela, Saoirse’s friend. “Hi.” Mace greeted her with a friendly smile, she wasn’t wearing any Jedi robes but she still did have one of her lightsabers hanging on her right hip. She was sporting her usual signature look, which consisted of just fitting pants, black flat knee length boots and black v-neck shirt. Her white cloak was currently in her hand as with her empty one she started pouring herself some coffee.
“Enjoying your stay, I hope?” Asked Mace genuinely before adding on as she turned to face the Vyridian twins while she leaned against the table that had the beverages. “I am Mace, and I am glad that you are here for your friend too.” Pointing in the Zabrak’s figure direction with her cup, Mace took a sip of her drink nodded knowingly.

One could say that everyone now had a better understanding of Umgul's Vice Governor, or at least the people at this table. Whatever had happened in the past, and whatever the government had faced with one of the big drama splat back in the day where Andros had been wrongfully accused due to his 'joyous' predisposition, the topic right about now would explain how he managed not to crack, most probably. That was all in the past though, and thankfully the government now did control the narrative, and shared the on-goings with the press but everyone from Andros to the high executives of the government, along with the members of the Mist Order, their private lives were all off limits. Nevertheless that was all in the past, and this is now, it all came down to this, and Andros' revelation that obviously got some visible effects on the students, and it also got them to understand a lot of the Mist Order's teachings.
Glad that Saoirse had found some friends to bond with, which was noticeable on how Veda acted towards her, Atlantis smiled pleasantly at both of them before watching Aidan who understood Atlantis' suggestion, though once again, seems like the Gupin was very much in a rush to censor Bria, paired with his usual deliveries. Atlantis tilted his head slightly on the side with an amused expression upon hearing his brother's communication, he said nothing to it but if his very own brother who had not stepped into the Academy in a very long time, and would just figure this out in a few moments, then Atlantis supposed that indeed it was just a give away.
"Sounds like it indeed, Aidan. I can tell." Atlantis told him with a warm encouraging smile before blinking once. "I am guessing you had further plans for the day to getting closer to resolving your investigation?" Atlantis arched his eyebrow with a knowing expression, but didn't say anything further and just looked at his brother then at Saoirse with another knowing smile. Maybe the Zabrak would get more answers from Andros, maybe not, Atlantis supposed it all depended on the circumstances, but then when he turned his head to focus on his brother, that was when he saw her.
Watching her move towards the bevvies, Atlantis smiled as he slightly shook his head. Humor me, Vos, been standing there long? His mind clearly open for her, he knew that she would pick up his amused question before gesturing with his chin grinning. "Always going to be a mystery, whenever someone does need her, you know that sooner or later she is bound to show up." Said he to no one in particular, but he did chuckle with amusement before glancing at the pair over there and telling Saoirse, "Mahela is in good company."

Saoirse smiles when Veda tells her that she and her friends have her back, telling her, "Thanks," even though the conversation the question Andros asked of everyone has her feeling less certain about how good of an idea it is that she helps Adian and his friends out any more than she has. If Aidan is right and the theft of the mask involves more than an art thief, a part of Saoirse isn't sure how well her experience playing on a bolo-ball team will translate to being part of a team of Jedi students tracking down a thief that might end up being a part of a more sinister plot. Even if Aidan and the others are more experienced than she is, Saoirse isn't sure the fact she is so new to learning about how to use the Force would not only make her a liability. Another part of her is just a little excited by the idea of moving on from learning about using the Force and what it means to be a Jedi to actually doing something with what she has learned, and with all of the talk of teamwork Saoirse is left feeling like maybe she should not let her fears about what could happen stop her from helping out in whatever way she can.
Saoirse nods when Andros answers one of her earlier questions about why he has chosen politics over teaching, resisting the urge to make a joke about politics probably being just as, if not more, likely to involve things that might arouse frustration or anger, and says only, "That makes a lotta sense," since it does seem pretty unlikely that politics would involve many of the Force related issues he would like to avoid. Like most young adults, Saoirse has a tendency to think that those older than her are more wise and confident, so finds it surprising to hear Andros say that he is not ready, yet, to deal with Force stuff. Were it Atlantis making that statement, Saoirse would probably ask more about why he feels that way, or what he thinks he needs to do to be ready, or if he even wants to ever deal with such things, but since she told herself after the way Andros seemed a bit dismissive of her earlier bout of verbal diarrhea that she would try and avoid letting her curiosity lead her to asking a bajillion questions like she often does, she manages to keep herself in check.
After Atlantis tells her that Mahela is in good company after telling no one in particular that someone bound to show up when needed has in fact shown up, Saoirse follows his gaze and sees her friend talking to Mace. Smiling as she tells Atlantis, "Yep, she couldn't do much better, right? Saoirse turns to Andros and says, Looks like your brother was right," since he was asking whether Mace was planetside earlier. Drumming her hands on her knees to vent some of her usual hyperactivity, Saoirse feels pretty proud of herself for resisting the urge to ask if accessing the vault to get his lightsabers was the only reason Andros was looking for Mace or if there were other reasons, and waits to hear how Aidan answers the question Atantis asked about what his plans for the day are as far as his investigation goes.
Mahela is sipping her juice when Mace comes along and introduces herself. Smiling as she replies, Mahela says in her soft-spoken voice, "Hello. It is nice to meet you. Saoirse speaks very highly of you, she says without giving her name since she assumes from the fact that Mace knows she and Saoirse are friends that there is no need to do so. Replying to question about how she has been enjoying her stay, Mahela says, It has been wonderful to spend time together, yes. Laughing softly, she adds in a mildly melancholy tone at odds with her laugh and smiling expression, I don't think I am quite used to not having her as my roommate yet, "as it has been adjustment going from having Saoirse around more often than not to having a room to herself and spending more time alone than before.
Moving on as though not inclined to dwell on the subject long, Mahela's tone takes on a mildly concerned tone as she says, "I think our time together is about to be cut short, explaining as she glances at where Saoirse and the others are sitting, Aidan has asked her to help with his investigation, she smiles, and seems very eager to get on with it." Sipping her juice, Mahela tells herself that she probably has no reason to worry for her friend. The question Andros had asked was probably, she imagines, only a general warning about the potential dangers Jedi could face, and she also cannot imagine Atlantis would allow her friend to do anything too dangerous. Even though Mahela knows that being a Jedi will mean that Saoirse may eventually find herself in dangerous situations, she prefers to think those things are a ways off in the future since Saoirse has only just begun to train to be a Jedi.

Aidan, smiling glowingly when Atlantis offers him a bit of praise and bolsters his already high confidence levels by saying that he can see Aidan's determination, the red maned Gupin nods when asked if he has ideas for how the day can be spent furthering his investigation, telling Atlantis only, "But of course, Grandmaster! An Investigator must always be on the hunt, yes? Any time not spent trying to sniff out one's quarry's trail is time the quarry has to cover their tracks. Lifting the first of his three right fingers into the air once more, heralding the approach of yet another dramatic declaration, Aidan declares dramatically, There is only one way to succeed in anything, my dear Grandmaster, and that is to give it everything! Rapping the table with a tiny fist, Aidan repeats emphatically for emphasis, Everything! And that is exactly what I shall . . ."
Smiling almost as though in pain and waving her hands down towards the table, Bria says what she is almost certain everyone is thinking, "We get it, Aidan. Take it down a notch please, picking up her mug of stimcaf and taking a sip, she adds, Some of us haven't had enough caffeine yet for . . . she waves her free hand towards the Gupin, you."
Veda, the fact that she is smiling happily beneath her veil obvious from the crinkles at the corners of her eyes when Saoirse thanks her, says, "No problem, I am sure that you have our backs too. Turning to see what Atlantis and Saoirse are talking about a moment later, Veda waves to Master Vos as she announces redundantly, Look! It's Master Vos. Waving for Mahela and Mace to join them, she says, Come on over and join us, adding for Mahela's benefit, All the serious talk is over now, then cringes as she says, Oops, and asks Atlantis, It is isn't it, Grandmaster Vyridian?"

Slowly reverting back to how he actually was, not the kind to smile constantly or just talk when it was unneeded, Andros just inclined his head slightly when Saoirse grasped, or understood one of his main reasoning. Of course there was more to it, but for that, Andros wasn't in the mood to share further than what he had already shared. Plus, it wasn't as if he would end up instructing any of them, at least not in the close future.
Figures that Mace would be here, one thing that was commonly known about the Kiffar Master, Mace worked in mysterious ways, and she always showed up at someone's mere thought. Just like now. Whether because she was needed as a Jedi, or even back at the Government building, as the political advisor. All in all, Mace was never early nor was she late, she just came in exactly on time. Inclining his head in return once seeing hers, Andros had that brief smile on the corner of his lips, and he was pretty sure she heard everything.
But that again was an entirely different matter, for again Andros didn't know if everyone here was aware that Mace, much like Ayla, were mind readers. Though Andros looked at Saoirse when confirming in fact that his brother was correct that Mace was planetside. "Mmmmm." Had been Andros' sole reply or expression before looking at Atlantis briefly. Andros completely omitted to listen further to what was talked about further, for actually, that brief teaching, and serious talk had been done.
Plus if one of the Padawan mentioned that when she invited for both Mace and the Togruta to join them, then that pretty much said it. Picking up his pastry and eating it slowly, Andros looked at Mace momentarily with just that usual gaze of his before letting his thoughts wander to let her know that he had no barriers and she was free to read his mind as he actually ate that pastry of his.
Pretty sure you also got Atlantis' message earlier, and I know I have been putting this off for a long time, but retrain me again. Please. That was his first thought, his main request, but also there was that other situation. There are too many conflicting reports but I am not going to stop until I find them. Pretty sure that she would get who she meant and also pretty sure that she'd know that he was determined. Plus Mace had already trained him before, and he was already aware of her methods, he was definitely ready to go through those again.
