Smiling when Saoirse told her that she could figure it out when someone truly wasn't in the mood, Crystal had no doubt about that, and winked at her gratefully. In reality, for Crystal, work was work and it often stayed out of her home, or in this case the Academy. She always made a point to leave work behind, back in the Mist Government HQ, lest it was necessary for her to bring her back with her. Sure she'd mention that work was tough, and just was tedious that day, but further than that, she never truly lingered on her work. Plus she worked for the government, and she had signed a NDA, therefore she always kept her complaints vague and just at the surface of everything she had dealt that day.
Moments such as these when she was with friends, and loved ones, it often allowed her to forget altogether about the problems she had faced during the day especially with work. Of course if it concerned something else, something personal that tend to linger, and it always caused her to at least try to expel some of her frustrations, it never usually was against people, it always and mostly meant against the punching bag in the training room, at home, or even her office. The prospect at least that she'll be sparring with someone new was exciting, it meant that it was totally going to be different for her, and also she would be teaching, Crystal supposed, the things that she knew.
"I definitely want to see you spar with Valaras, at least." Crystal reiterated everyone's statement here present at least those who mentioned they wanted to see Atlantis get in the ring against a guy. Though just for sure, and just to incite Atlantis further to do so, Crystal somewhat dreamily sigh and placed her chin against her knuckle as her elbow was on the table. "I have to admit too, he is a cutie, his sister too." Crystal laughed softly and winked at her boyfriend before placing her hand on his forearm and pecking his chin quickly, Crystal just looked at him teasingly. "Two good looking men fighting, that is like the majority of beings dream come true." She even fluttered her eyelashes, again just to cause some sort of reaction from him, but of course she was teasing and joking which she made sure that he knew when she squeezed his forearm gently.
Crystal had looked at Franz when she mentioned her about her presence in the Force compared to the officially attuned people here, she only inclined her head with a grin before looking at Saoirse dubiously. Although before she could even start commenting on that, she heard her portable datapad pinging back to back several times along with her commlink signaling that whatever messages she had sent a while ago had gone through. As she was about to grab her datapad, Crystal paused momentarily and felt deep down of her, in the pit of her stomach that the person that she had been looking for such a long time was here. Not here here, but here, and alive. Finally she pulled her datapad out, along with her commlink, it all seemed to be flooded with acknowledge of receipts.
"Atlantis, Franz, where is Elika?" Crystal asked straight to the point and even stood up from her seat, at part of her was happy but that other part of her was worried. It nearly had been three years, and while Crystal never gave hope, and still clinged to hearing from one of her friends, Crystal wanted, needed to see her.

Arching his eyebrow when the matter of him sparring with another man came up, Atlantis laughed lowly and even shook his head. "Looks like one unanimous request, then." His laughter soon died down though when he heard Crystal mention that Valaras was cute, it got Atlantis to narrow his eyes looking at her. "Am I to understand that you want to see him shirtless?" Even if perhaps he somewhat sounded offended and maybe jealous, it was not the case at all, which showed with his grin on the corner of his lips. "One of these days, Ms Crystal Kayne, I will get back at you." Grinning and leaning over to kiss her forehead, Atlantis sat back up straight and looked at her, also Saoirse, and even Ryan with a conceding expression. "Fine, fine, I'll spar with Valaras and make sure that you are all there."
Still shaking his head with an amused grin, Atlantis looked at Saoirse and confirmed with a nod what she had just said. "You'll get the hang of it definitely, it'll be like a second nature for you to observe and read your opponent's next move. Just like how you and I trained earlier with the swords." He did recall her being comfortable with their scripted moves, and sure while he had corrected some of her stance and placement to parry, Atlantis had even taken their training earlier a step further when he had gone unscripted. He did tell her, and some parts she did manage to block and some he knew he was going to hit her but stopped mid action constantly. As he told her earlier, he was pretty satisfied with her progress, and even when he taught her afterwards on how to punch or kick that was good too for someone who undertook those kind of training the first time ever.
Finally finishing with his meal when Franz had started explaining to Saoirse how he sensed the students, Atlantis looked knowingly at his cousin confirming with a blink that indeed he was not in the possession of his stygium lightsaber. "Plenty of crystals have different properties." He explained to Saoirse, not hesitating either to let her know about the one that would mask his signature. "The name of the one that covers my signature is called a Stygium, a few of us that you know have that crystal in our lightsaber chamber." Atlantis stated thoughtfully. He knew that the Kiffars did, except Ayla since she revealed that not only she was attuned to the Force but held the rank of Master Jedi. It wasn't the sole discovery that fateful evening, all of them that were present also realized that Horsea, her brother Honoros, and even Forcias were all attuned to the Force. Atlantis supposed that it should not have been surprising to begin with, especially that back in the days, when he had gone to Kiffu, they were the ones along with Mace that had accompanied him and his brother to Aeten.
Those days seemed so long again, and even before he could even further, Atlantis felt a presence, not just one but two presences that he had not felt in a very long time. It was soon followed by Franz asking him that question and then Crystal's devices pinging and blowing up her notifications. Closing his eyes and expanding his awareness further in the Force, Atlantis took a deep breath and just concentrated further feeling Elika, and even Lucy unharmed and close to a cluster of people. That one signature he knew who it belonged to. Varos. It had been a while since Atlantis had met the Admiral face to face, but he did meet him when he told the Admiral that he was putting the fleet under the Government's purview.
"You are not dreaming, Franz. It is her with Lucy." Atlantis said with a relieved tone and then looked up at Crystal who had stood up and had asked him where Elika was. "In orbit, next to the SD, I am very sure that she'll be landing soon with the Lieutenant." Atlantis pulled out his datapad, and sent an encrypted message to Admiral Varos just to make sure that the shuttle was heading planetside and that it wasn't damaged or anything. "You should go Crystal, with Franz and your brother." Atlantis suggested thoughtfully and while he wanted, and wished he could go, he knew that he still had some obligations here, and couldn't just up and leave.
Still holding his datapad, he sent another message but that directly went to his brother. Dimming his device soon after, and quite aware that perhaps Saoirse was confused now with the sudden change of vibe in the atmosphere, Atlantis told her with a faint frown. "My friend, our friend, I told you about the first day, that envisioned this Academy has been missing for nearly three years now, and we haven't heard from her all this time." Rubbing the root of his nose not wanting to think of whatever happened, Atlantis just tried to calm his thoughts and feelings to try and see clearly, and understand hopefully. But he knew that the explanation wouldn't appear out of thin air, he would have to get to the bottom of it.

The idea of watching Atlantis sparring with a male partner, it soon becomes apparent, is a popular one. After Saoirse says that such a sparring match would likely be the only way she would ever see her Master in action, Ryan says that, since it has been a while since he last saw such a match, he too would like to watch Atlantis sparring against another dude as well. Crystal adds herself to the list of people wanting to watch, and makes Saoirse laugh when she teases Atlantis by pointing out that Valaras and his sister are cute and does a perfect imitation of a teenage girl fawning over the idea of two attractive men fighting against one another. Atlantis, seeming to bow to popular demand, says that he will spar with Valaras and make sure that Ryan, Crystal and Saoirse are all invited to watch.
Saoirse, while listening to Franz explain how he typically seeks out and locates new students, finds most of what he says makes sense to her from what she had experienced when Atlantis had guided her in being aware of the Force around her. Saoirse looks more than a little surprised, and a little confused at first, when Franz talks about Atlantis having a lightsaber crystal that can conceal his Force presence. Though she is curious about how a lightsaber crystal could cloak someone's presence in the Force, and wonders whether the crystals are common, if there are different kinds that can do other things than hide one's presence in the Force, and could think of dozens of more questions if she dwelled on it, Saoirse figures it will probably make more sense to her when it comes time to construct her own lightsaber, and so files the questions away for later. Atlantis, before telling her the type of crystal he has in his lightsaber is called a Stygium, answers one of her questions when he says that there are crystals that can do many different kinds of things, and Franz makes her aware of a new ability, Force Listening, when he explains how he uses it as a part of his methodology in searching for new students.
Smiling gratefully when Atlantis encouragingly reminds her that hard work and practice will help her hone the various new skills she has begun to learn, Saoirse is about to voice her agreement, as she knows from all of the practice she puts in for bolo-ball how necessary it is to the learning process, when Franz sits up like he has been goosed about the same time as Crystal's comlink and datapad seem to go crazy.
Looking from Crystal as she examines her datapad and comlink, Saoirse is about to ask Franz if he is ok, but before she can he says something about feeling someone right before Crystal, having finished her examination of her devices, asks Atlantis and Franz where someone named Elika is.
From the tone in Crystal's voice and the way she stands up as though ready to go as soon as she has her answer about where Elika is, Saoirse figures the best thing for her to do is stay quiet and out of the way while whatever is going on has been dealt with, and so she does just that.
Only after Atlantis has explained that Elika, who is with a Lucy in orbit near a Star Destroyer. should be landing soon with a lieutenant, before he tells Crystal that she, Ryan and Franz should go to meet them, does it start to make a little more sense to Saoirse what is going on. When Atlantis, realizing that Saoirse is probably confused about what is going on, further explains that Elika is the friend, who had designed the academy for him, that he had told her about when they first arrived at the academy, and that Elika has been missing for almost three years, Saoirse understands why he had looked so sad when talking about her and also why everyone's mood has shifted so drastically now.
Since Elika is Atlantis' friend too, and Saoirse can see just how concerned he is for her, she suggests, "Maybe you should go with Crystal and the others too, huh? Looking around to see where the older students that had been away with Franz are, guessing that Atlantis is staying behind for the sake of the younglings, Saoirse points out, The older students and I can make sure the younglings are looked after while you're all away, Master."

Unlike Franz, Atlantis, and Crystal, he had never been that close with Elika, sure she and Ryan were on friendly terms, and they had spent some time getting to know one another but it was always in the presence of his sister, or even his girlfriend. Thus if someone had to go and meet up with Elika, it was Atlantis, not him, no.
It also spoke in volumes no that he had not even detected Elika when Franz did, when Atlantis and even Crystal knew. Sure he might have been a Jedi but he was no where as proficient as his cousins here. Ryan shook his head soon enough when Atlantis suggested that Crystal went with him and Franz, Ryan who just put a muzzle on their previous topics seriously told him after Saoirse had spoken. "Atlantis, you go, I'll stay with Saoirse here. I am not the one who should be there, it should be you.
Ryan knew that his sister wouldn't back him up there, or wouldn't say anything at all about who should go, and who shouldn't, he knew Crystal enough that whether she had people with her or not, she'd just go to where she had to be just to see her friend that had been missing for nearly three years. "You have a closer affinity with her, and she is more comfortable in your presence. I cannot justify myself being there if Ljiljana isn't around." Ryan wasn't making any excuses or just avoiding of going there, he knew that this was the smart move.
"Saoirse and I will look after the younglings, you three just go."

Crystal's devices blowing up with notifications, and feeling Atlantis increasing his presence in the Force was enough of a confirmation to him, even before Atlantis told him that he wasn't dreaming. Franz couldn't understand precisely what had happened to Elika, and Lucy, he had been under the impression that they had been taken hostage or whatever, thus couldn't be contacted because their devices had been taken and tossed away, but now Crystal's datapad and even comlink seemed to be flooded with messages.
He knew that playing the guessing game here would bring him nothing at all, he could keep on speculating but that would absolutely do nothing to him, and so he knew he just had to go see Elika. Standing up from his own seat and inclining his head, he looked at Crystal just to indicate to her that he would go to meet Elika. However he ended up looking at Atlantis with a frown who at first had decided to from the looks of it, and not go but it sounded like Saoirse and Ryan were ushering him to just go.
"The younglings will be fine, and they are resourceful." Franz said hurriedly before putting his index and middle finger up if really that kept Atlantis back. "Or leave your doppelganger here, Atlantis, you very well know that you can do that if necessary." But he did not want to debate further, and looked at Crystal, "I'll meet you outside of the Academy, next to the airspeeder."
Franz looked at both Ryan and Saoirse with a grateful expression and smile. He knew that they totally understood, and also it seemed like his cousin raised a point, which Franz understood completely. "If I don't see you tonight again, I'll see you tomorrow." Franz inclined his head and stepped away from the table to head towards the Academy's ground where he guessed he'd be certainly joined by Crystal and potentially Atlantis...

The first thing Crystal thought was... Actually she did not know what to think, at all, her devices pinging saying those messages had been sent. Elika in orbit with Lucy? What? Crystal took a deep breath and closed her eyes to try and calm whatever she was feeling right now. She didn't even know if she was confused, relieved, or just angry.
The ongoing talks right then and there, Crystal heard nothing of it, nor was she even inclined to pay attention to what her brother had said. All she had heard was Atlantis telling her to go. With whoever, she did not care, simple. She just needed to see Elika.
Finally she snapped out of her messy thoughts when Franz mentioned that he'd be by the airspeeder and she nodded. "I'll join you shortly, I just need to grab my jacket." Crystal told him before looking at Saoirse with an apologetic expression. "Sorry to cut this short, but I'll see you soon, for now rain check on sparring." It wasn't as if they had set up a definitely plan just yet, but still Crystal knew that this was, and probably going to change several things about her.
Perhaps she'd no longer come frequently to the Academy, and perhaps her whole routine would change, but Crystal was certain that at some point they would meet again definitely. Pushing her chair against the table, Crystal made her way out of the dining hall after glancing one last time at both Atlantis and Ryan to make her way first to his room to grab that said jacket she mentioned in Atlantis' room. She evidently also sent a message to Lana while doing a pit stop there just to let her know, even if potentially she already also figured it out with her own devices pinging, Elika was back and would probably be in the city's spaceport in a few.
After making sure that she had everything, Crystal finally made her way down to the Academy's entrance to join Franz...

Atlantis was still sitting on his seat, and the biggest part of him knew that he had to stop stalling, he also knew that whatever he decided here and now Crystal would just go. Looking at Saoirse with a faint frown, Atlantis was about to say something, he even got to the point of opening his mouth but nothing came out at all as Ryan took the floor and spoke his piece. Sighing softly, he understood their point but at the same time he did not want to dump the responsibilities to them. It wasn't their job at all. Then of course Franz spoke up and told him to just leave his doppelgänger here.
Grabbing his lightsaber hilt from his hip, Atlantis looked at it for a moment, and kept holding it for a small moment while Franz spoke soon followed by Crystal. The Kasha this hilt contained got him to order his thoughts, and just decide on the spot the best course of action for him but also for the rest here. Finally standing up from his seat, Atlantis closed his eyes and expanded his awareness again in the Force concentrating fully, just dimming out the sound around him, clearing his mind as he called on the Force to create a duplicate of himself that was steadily manifesting a few feet away from him.
"Well, you better run after her because you know, she can be a fast runner." Atlantis' doppelganger said to his original counterpart. They looked like identical twins, their Force signatures were identical and they could easily be mistaken. However between them both there was obviously one difference, but that resided on the flesh. The original Atlantis still had that stab mark scar under his torso, the doppelgänger did not at all. Also compared to the original one, the doppelgänger was more of a joker and playful by nature.
Breathing softly and looking at his doppelgänger, Atlantis grabbed the lightsaber hilt and tossed it in his copy's direction. "That's yours, I'll have the others." Atlantis looked at Saoirse and inclined his head knowingly. "He is me, although more of an extrovert, but he'll be here. He knows everything that I know." That was all that he said currently, although he noticed that all of the students present in the dining hall had suddenly gone quiet and were looking in their table's direction. Not really giving it a second thought, or just lingering further, Atlantis turned and sprinted out of the dining hall to make his way to his quarters, thankfully still finding Crystal there who had paused a moment to send a message. Atlantis collected his jacket and both of his lightsabers that caused him to disappear due to the Stygium in one of his lightsabers, and just headed out of the Academy with Crystal to go find Franz by the airspeeder.
In the meantime back in the dining hall the doppelgänger who had caught the lightsaber was looking at all of the students that seemed to be looking at him. "Oh, riiiiiiight, I don't think I ever did this before. Oh well it was force majeure." Shrugging and looking at the students thoughtfully, he pursed his lips. "I promise to teach you this Force power when you are ready, but right now your food is getting cold in your plate." He playfully said before chuckling and shaking his head with an amused grin. "I am guessing you have many more questions, huh?" He asked Saoirse with a friendly smile, even if perhaps she was maybe surprised, confused or something.
If only he knew that this Force power had been discussed earlier between Ryan, Crystal and Saoirse, he might have laughed wholeheartedly in amusement...

Saoirse is glad that Ryan and Franz both add their support after she tells Atlantis that he should go with Crystal to find out how their friend is, with Ryan offering to stay behind as well since he is not as close with Elika as the others, and Franz reminding Atlantis that the younglings are resourceful and suggesting that Atlantis use his doppelganger ability so he can still, in a way, be at the academy while also going with Crystal and Franz. Saoirse, after Franz and Crystal have hurriedly said they will see her soon, smiles supportively as she waves and tells them, "I hope your friend is alright."
Even though Atlantis had explained the doppelganger ability to her, it doesn't fully prepare her for seeing him actually use it and create a duplicate of himself out of thin air. Saoirse, nodding with a somewhat shocked expression when Atlantis, after tossing the duplicate of himself a lightsaber, tells her that the duplicate is him, and knows everything that he does, with the only difference between them being that the duplicate is more extroverted. Saoirse wouldn't exactly describe Atlantis as introverted, but understands what he meant a moment later when the duplicate starts talking to everyone in the dining hall when he notices the attention he has drawn, sounding just like Atlantis, only a bit more loose, like he has had a drink or two.
Saoirse nods emphatically when the duplicate Atlantis correctly guesses she has questions, replying with a grin, "Only about a million of them! Opening her mouth to start rattling off her questions, Saoirse instead laughs, explaining afterwards, You know, I have so many that there's a bottleneck and none can get out. Saoirse shrugs, adding, Don't worry though, I'm sure the jam up will clear up and I'll have a few of those million questions for you sooner or later, or, you know, the other you if they're back by then." Saoirse, figuring that since she can hardly even telekinetically levitate a bolo-ball currently it will be a long while before she can even think about being able to make a duplicate of herself, doesn't feel too pressured to unclog the flood of questions seeing Atlantis create a duplicate of himself has given rise to since she already feels like her brain will take a while to digest all of the new information she has been acquiring along with the new skills she has begun to learn.
Looking over to Ryan, Saoirse jokes, "Too bad you don't know that doppelganger thing, huh? You could make a you just to deal with the complaints and other annoying things while you focus on the being a neurosurgeon part."

After he had tossed his two cents, Ryan just sat there silently and only refilled his glass to drink something, and at least do something. Ryan meant he said earlier, he and Elika weren't close, but it did not mean that he had no idea what Elika meant to the people he cared about. Whether his sister, or his girlfriend, or even the guys here. From an outsider's point of view, whenever they all seemed together, one could think and see that it was a tight knit group and perhaps difficult to breach so to speak. Everyone supported one another, and they always had each other's back. Ryan while he was definitely accepted into the group, for multiple reasons either because he was the brother of Crystal, or because Franz was his cousin, and also because he considered Atlantis as such too, in the end, he was one of the last person who had joined that group there.
And with that, he never really spent plenty of time yet just talking with Elika, even if their paths had crossed many times in the past.
Smiling slightly, and picking up his datapad, Ryan sent a message to his girlfriend to inform her that Elika was back with also Lucine, and Crystal had just rushed out of the Academy to go meet up with them. He also included that he had stayed behind and it was best if she commed Crystal later. Placing his datapad on the table, he wondered how one of the Kiffars would be reacting to the news that Lucine was back. Of course, Lily had been the one who filled him in that the lieutenant was in a relationship with Forcias Kes, and allegedly it had caused some strife within the chain of command there. Those were the rumors that Ryan heard, and honestly again, he wasn't close to any of the Kiffars, thus he never really truly spoke with them, except he did remember a few years back during his sister's birthday actually how impressed he had been at their effectiveness.
That was in the past, but his reaction then and there stayed with him. Even right now Ryan had looked up at Atlantis who was calling on the Force to the point that his doppelgänger materialized next to him. Again, impressed. Ryan knew that to even achieve that, it took a lot of practice, and even a certain finesse to it. From what he did know, the doppelgänger was as much as Atlantis, though some of his personality was much more pronounced. The doppelgänger was also very tangible, and could manipulate the Force, or even duel if necessary. The fact that Atlantis just did that, well enough said.
Ryan snapped out of his reverie and realized how quiet all of a sudden it had become in the dining hall, which got him to look around, and of course, the students all had their gaze on their Headmaster, impressed, or just plain delight or confusion, Ryan did not know but he turned to look at Atlantis' look alike and arched his eyebrow. "Too bad indeed, but I wouldn't even come close to that." Ryan answered Saoirse and even gestured at Atlantis. "I can't even fathom how much practice he has poured into that, to perfect that ability." Taking a sip of his drink and putting his glass down, Ryan pursed his lips and resorted himself to only saying. "I'll just focus on the healing side, that is too much advanced for me."

Atlantis pouted playfully as Saoirse mentioned she had about a million question, again. He tilted his head on the side laughed wholeheartedly when no of those questions actually came out, it was her explanation of why that none were coming out that amused him. "I see, usually I would say on those parts that you have to tilt it a bit on the side or paf it on the table to get some of it out. But thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat won't work for this case, only applicable to brews." He took the seat that his original self had vacated and sat down there still smiling. "I am guessing that if you did actually start writing your questions down, it must be a long paper by now." He recalled telling her that writing it down could be helpful, and he wasn't sure if she had actually started doing that, but he could only guess definitely that with her just starting now, questions would come flooding especially whenever she encountered something new or saw something new.
Looking down briefly and biting his lower lip when he felt that flood of emotions emanating from a person he deeply cared about, he wondered what had caused that since he found it surprising that just like that, it turned into a what he could only describe as hysteria. Scratching the back of his head, and taking a deep breath, he supposed that he shouldn't focus on what was happening there, and just be here in the now here as that was exactly why he had been summoned, right?
Breathing softly and focusing, which thankfully with the lightsaber hilt that was left to him, that allowed him to do so, Atlantis looked from Saoirse to Ryan who the latter mentioned that there was no way he could do what Atlantis could do. "Possibly as much as you have poured into Force healing?" He nodded sagely and smiled, after all it was true, there were things that Ryan mastered, that Atlantis did not and vice versa. "Like you have said anyways, you are a doctor, are you the one with the nickname Doctor Love, or is it your brother? I seriously can't quite remember." That aside though Atlantis waved his hand in front of him and carried on. "Anyways that aside, you know detoxify poison, I don't. Force healing, uuum kinda for me, but not really, so we'll go with a no." All in all they all specialized in different areas that interested them, right? That was the whole point, in discovering one's journey.
"I just had to perfect this because I had to, so I did, besides, why again are you the one handling some of the complaints in the hospital?" Atlantis asked with an arched eyebrow before looking at Saoirse with a playful expression. "You reckon is because he is the good looking one there in the Staff so the folks send him out?"

Saoirse laughs when Atlantis 2.0 says that tilting her head on the side and patting it on the table probably won't help clear up the virtual traffic jam of questions inside of her mind, nodding as she says, "Sounds a little too painful to try, so I'll just hope they get unstuck some other way. Grinning and placing a hand about a foot over the table when Atlantis 2.0 talks about how long her list of questions would be if she were writing them all down, Saoirse says, Maybe about that high, and still climbing." Saoirse actually has a few questions written down in a few files on her laptop, scattered haphazardly among the notes she made while studying about the Jedi Code, with others amidst notes for her university classes. Saoirse figures she might want to think about collecting the questions together in one file eventually, but usually doesn't have any problem remembering things that she writes down so doesn't feel any pressing need to do so.
Laughing when Atlantis 2.0, while talking to Ryan about Force healing and how learning to make a doppelganger was probably comparable in difficulty to learning Force healing, reveals that Ryan has the nickname Doctor Love, Saoirse grins and nods when asked if the fact Ryan is so handsome might have something to do with why he is apparently the one picked to deal with complaints at the hospital, "It could definitely factor into the decision, sure. Saoirse isn't sure what anyone in a hospital would have to complain about, but figures that could be a lack of imagination on her part since she is often surprised by the kinds of complaints there are out there about all kinds of things when she hears about them in the holonews. Figuring that the last thing Ryan would want to do is revisit the complaints he dealt with even though she is curious about what they might have been, Saoirse asks him instead, How does Force healing work? Do you use the Force to accelerate the normal healing process, or is it like the doppelganger thing where you create new tissue or muscle or whatever is damaged? Guessing that there must be some kind of upper limit to what the Force can be used to heal, Saoirse asks, What's the limit to what can be healed? Remembering how Atlantis 1.0 had talked about the way one's will and belief in their ability to do something is a key factor in using the Force, she wonders aloud, Or is that something the individual healer's will and belief determine? Remembering how she has felt drained after something as simple as just trying to use telekinesis, Saoirse, the backed up questions in her mind obviously moving freely now, asks, Does using Force healing, or any ability really, always make you feel drained or exhausted? Tilting her head to the side, she explains, When I try to use telekinesis, it makes me feel kinda like I feel after a bolo-ball game or a workout, only mentally and . . . she tries to find a way to explain what she means, but shakes her head ultimately, unable to put into words how it feels more difficult to stay aware of the Force the longer she tries to keep focused on it while working with it. Frowning in thought, Saoirse tries to formulate a better way to ask her question and then asks, Is using the Force kinda like using any muscle, where the more you use it the stronger it gets, kinda like a runner building up stamina?"
The flood of questions has obviously freed up some of the ones Saoirse had after seeing Atlantis 1.0 create Atlantis 2.0 out of thin air, and so she turns to the duplicate Atlantis and asks him excitedly, "What are you made out of? She had seen the doppelganger catch the lightsaber hilt Atlantis had tossed to him, so Saoirse knows that the duplicate has some kind of physical presence, or maybe only seems to with Atlantis using telekinesis to manipulate whatever the duplicate handles. Since from what she has learned about Force abilities suggests that concentration and focus are essential, Saoirse asks, What happens if the original Atlantis loses his focus or gets distracted? Would you just disappear? How long can he keep you around? Do you both know what is happening with each other all the time, or only when you are both back together? Grinning as she realizes she has been asking questions nonstop for a minute or so, Saoirse grins and says, Sorry, that traffic jam of questions cleared up and they all just started pouring out."

Shaking his head as Atlantis' doppelganger gave a solution to just those questions unstuck, Ryan was laughing due to his solutions that definitely was not applicable for Saoirse. "Yes, please do not follow the route, I am off duty." Considering that he was the doctor present currently in the Academy, he knew that even if he was off duty in any case, he would still assist because that was him. "Let's avoid the self harm and keep that suggestion for drinking games." Rubbing his face and grinning, it actually had been a while since they all got together literally and just had a drink, and did whatever on those down times. Ryan guessed that life just happened and also because he knew that due to some circumstances, well people were busy or just weren't in the mood at all.
Atlantis 2.0 had a point about where he had focused his learning in the Force. It was a no brainer, Atlantis was a warrior and therefore he'd focus on Force powers that would help him in whatever things he had to handle, Ryan was a doctor, and a healer first and foremost, but before he could even say something to agree, his eyes narrowed looking at his cousin. "That is Ares, that's his nickname, not mine. Nuh uh." Shaking his head to emphasize that it really wasn't him, Ryan pointed out soon after. "Remember I played that song, I always played that song, when it was Crystal's birthday and Ares came rushing out of whatever he had been doing with Ali and insulted me for that." What a fun time, Ares had his shirt undone still and his dearest fraternal twin just tossed that insult in his direction in their dialect.
Shrugging when asked why he was handling those complaints, Ryan actually sighed and pursed his lips soon after. "You do know that your brother issued that Universal healthcare to Umgul's citizens, and residents here, right? Well for some it's either why it isn't applicable to them, or why it's taking so long to process and because of that it's taking longer to get their operation booked and done." Honestly Ryan just knew that it was all administrative things, and he had no influence or say on those. Especially when it wasn't a life or death situation. "A lot seem to want some enhancements, or whatever, but again not covered under the universal healthcare package." Ryan shrugged again and shook his head even looking upwards because some people, at least to him, felt entitled to things. Not really a matter that downs him in a way, but just irritated the hell out of him due to some abusing or wanting to abuse what Umgul had, Ryan always got over those situations rather quickly.
Thankfully though Saoirse's questions proved to be a welcoming distraction. "I do use the Force to accelerate the normal healing process yes. Say you get a cut or a big wound, that what it'll do. Plus it'll get you active again soon after when the process is done." He explained thoughtfully before remembering her following question to that, the limitations. "Limitations are quite simple, for example, growing a severed limb, that is a no, but it's possible to apply it to reattaching it." Nodding soon after to confirm her question but also her answer there to her own question, Ryan explained. "Using the Force can definitely make you feel drained, especially when you are not used to it. For example earlier, I mentioned a cut, that for me would be easy to heal, and quick, but an open wound, I would have to call on the Force longer, and concentrate much more that it will obviously drain me, tire me that I will have to need to take a few to recuperate."
He supposed he could use one prime example here, and now which was why Ryan pointed at the Atlantis that was with him. "When Atlantis summoned the Force to get his doppelgânger here, he barely broke a sweat, sure I noticed that he had let out a breath earlier, but the amount it takes to actually get Atlantis to do that, for a novice, it would take longer, and even so it wouldn't be perfect so to speak. Atlantis trained, mastered it, because he worked on it for such a long time that to the naked eye, when you put the two together, they are alike. Any other people would perhaps feel some effects to do what he just did. I do remember him telling me a long time ago that he was getting headaches, or just felt something that was weighing him down. Now, the guy just summoned the other him, and just rushed out of this place just like that." Ryan chuckled when truly he was just amazed at how Atlantis really got this far. Like he had said warrior first and foremost but also dedication to his calling.
"So indeed you can say that the more you use it, the more it'll be easier, but also the better it'll be for you in the long run."

Atlantis 2.0, as someone described him as, placed both of his arms on the table and rested his chin on his forearm while looking at Ryan with a blasé expression when the doctor mentioned those complaints he was facing. "Enhancements." Shuddering on the spot and making a face, Atlantis nodded and sighed softly. "I do get why he issued that order, Andros for sure, and got to harmonize things planetwise, but he must have accounted for those trying to find loopholes, no?" Sitting up straighter this time and crossing his arms before shaking his head. "I have so much love for my brother, that honestly I am still shocked that he is still the VG here." Atlantis nonchalantly said, and just out of the blue, but he did smile with a proud smile because he knew everything his brother had gone through. "Just all brotherly love, big time, like you and Ares." Chuckling and just wanting to get over this little problem of the whats and whys Ryan was facing those complaints. Atlantis just resorted himself to stay his tongue while Saoirse actually asked some questions to the doc.
It got Atlantis to rest his chin again on his forearm while he listened attentively to what Ryan was saying as a reply to Saoirse's question. Again the fraction of time that it would take Ryan to heal a simple cut or even an open wound, Atlantis would take longer assuredly since that wasn't his area of expertise. Though when the questions came back to him, Atlantis turned his head on his forearm and smiled brightly before extending one of his arms in Saoirse's direction. "I'm corporeal, if you want to poke for yourself there, feel free." He encouraged her but still had his head down until he picked it back up and pursed his lips. "I am flesh, a projection of the true me, if you will, but I do not need to eat, I do not need to drink, nor do I need to do those things that beings do. I speak and act..." Frowning soon after before shaking his head laughing. "I was going to say that I act like him but that's not entirely true, because a side of him is more pronounced with me."
What indeed would happen if his true self got distracted or lost focused. "In short, in a way yes. But also not necessarily quite honestly. As Ryan said here, I have spent enough time, well not me me, the other me, has spent enough time perfecting this to somewhat in a sense sever the link between us, so he can do his thing, and I can do mine without being interrupted. But if and when he is injured gravely, I would just go poof." He declared even gesturing an explosion like or disappearance trick with his hands. "He can keep me active for a while, but even then, me being here doesn't last long as he still needs some sleep too. But at any given time yes, he can find out what I am up to, though I don't know what he is precisely doing. He doesn't check in often, and usually we have to be together so he can absorb all the knowledge that I have amassed since I have been created." He explained thoughtfully before tilting his slightly on the side while he drummed his chin thoughtfully.
"That being said, if at any point, or something, because I feel it best to be that way, there are things that possibly he might not be ready to face, well I will take it upon myself to just disappear. I have my own thoughts, and can be quite independent, but he really hates it when I poof myself." Nodding while his eyes closed, as the last time Atlantis had gone doppelganger, well before gaining the information from what had happened that precise night, Atlantis 2.0 just decided to not even go up and meet the original him to share the info there.

Saoirse isn't too surprised to learn that some of the complaints Ryan has had to deal with involve individuals trying to take advantage of Umgul's healthcare system and being upset when they can't manage to get things like enhancements that they don't need. There will always be, Saoirse supposes, those kinds of individuals in the universe, and she can imagine that it has to be incredibly frustrating for those like Ryan who are part of a system that is designed to help those in actual need to find that there are beings who will try to exploit that system and in doing so drain time and energy that could have been better spent. More interesting to Saoirse, however, is hearing Ryan explain the limitations of Force healing, and learning that her suspicions about how using Force abilities leaves Force sensitives drained to a degree relative to the difficulty of the abilities they use, and how continued practice can build up a Force user's proficiency and endurance in the same way that practice and exercise build an athlete's skill and stamina. After Ryan has finished his explanation, Saoirse, naturally, can think of several follow up questions, like whether or not a Force sensitive knowing about the things doctors learn, such as anatomy and biological processes, make using Force healing easier, or if it is the body's limitations that set limits on what a Force sensitive can heal instead of the healer's abilities, but Atlantis 2.0 starting to answer her questions for him makes her file the new questions she has about Force healing aside so she can pay full attention to him.
Saoirse looks utterly fascinated as Atlantis 2.0 explains that not only is he corporeal, which she tentatively confirms by reaching over to touch his arm when he invites her to poke him, but that he also has, to some degree, developed a personality of his own, complete with a sense of independence that has occasionally led him to dematerialize before rejoining Atlantis Prime in order to spare him from dealing with things 2.0 feels Prime might not be ready to deal with. Saoirse can see how, given that experiences shape individuals, Atlantis 2.0 could begin to be a bit different that Atlantis Prime over time as their individual experiences would differ, especially if the duplicate Atlantis creates is always the same 2.0 who retains his experiences. Whether or not Atlantis 2.0 is unique, due to Atlantis Prime's mastery of the ability or possibly even because he consciously chooses to make a duplicate that retains their experiences, from other doppelgangers that other Force users create, is one of the many questions that Saoirse has after Atlantis 2.0 is done speaking, but Saoirse files the questions away for another time since Nickala and Tach come over and remind her about the study group they had invited her to earlier.
"I'll meet you guys there in a few minutes, Saoirse tells Nickala and Tach, and then stands and starts collecting the dirty dishes from the table as she tells Ryan and Atlantis 2.0, Thanks for the lessons! Grinning, she jokes cheerfully, I'll make a list of follow up questions so I can ask them later. Heading off to takes the dishes to the kitchen and wash them, Saoirse says, See you guys later!"
After taking care of the dishes, Saoirse makes her way to the common area where Nickala and Tach said the study group gathers.

Saoirse doesn't see Atlantis when she arrives in the dining hall in the morning after her ritual jog, so just throws a few things from the buffet together on a plate and finds a table to sit at while she waits to see if he'll show up. Since they hadn't made any formal arrangement about when they would meet up to plan their day's activities, Saoirse starts eating as she puts on her earbuds and listens to one of the recent lectures from one of her university classes to review the material for an impending test. Having spoken with Mahela the night before about the possibility of getting together during the upcoming weekend, which Mahela only agreed to on the condition that Saoirse is caught up on both her uni and academy work, Saoirse is eager to get at least the uni work done since she figures Atlantis won't be assigning her anything too time consuming as he is aware that Mahela is concerned about interrupting or interfering with any of her studies or responsibilities.
Saoirse doesn't make it through much of the lecture before Nadira, Tach and Cih join her with their breakfasts, and chats with them about what they have lined up for their days as she waits for Atlantis.

Walking into the dining hall after he had entered the Academy, Atlantis scanned the area and smiled seeing the students just having their meal. Considering he had been aware of the potential plans of his girlfriend, and her friends, well they were right, it was going to be difficult for him to pull away considering his responsibilities here. But it was not a big deal so to speak since he was pretty glad that they had that plan that would happen whenever the situation about Elika was settled.
And he had no doubts that it would happen any time soon, considering he knew that his brother would do everything and anything to rush that and put the whole situation behind them all.
Not really in the mood to eat, he just picked up a muja juice and headed to where Saoirse was seated with some of the learners too. Glad that she was fitting in. "Hey, everyone." He greeted them all with a warm smile before sitting down to an empty seat and just sipped his juice. "Pray tell me, you folks have anything in particular planned for the day, or do you need any assistance for anything today?" Sure he was technically the teacher, but often times he played it by ear and always put himself at disposal for the learners, anything they wanted to broach, he always welcomed their input. There were days sure there was a particular schedule to be followed, some others teaching ancient history or even medical field, but overall it wasn't strict, he didn't like the strict part.
He always preferred to hear what people thought, and what they wanted to learn so that it would be more enjoyable for them and not a chore at all.

From the way Nadira, Tach and Cih seem unsurprised when Atlantis joins them and asks what their plans for the day are, Saoirse gets the impression that opportunities to choose their own training and learning routines are not uncommon, and after waving a cheerful hello to Atlantis she listens interestedly to how her fellow Jedi students reply to him. Nadira, the first of the students at the table to answer Atlantis, tells him that she plans to study for the intergalactic law enforcement cooperation and information exchange course she and several other learners are pursuing, after which she will train in lightsaber combat, telling Atlantis that she would like for him to observe her training if he has the chance so that he can critique her progress. Tach, speaking up next and managing to sound as cocky and smarmy as ever, explains that he will be leading a study group focusing on the current state of political affiliations throughout the universe and how it affects the jurisdictional autonomy of the various Jedi Orders. Cih, scratching behind a furry ear absently and sounding distracted, waves her free hand around while telling Atlantis that she has some catching up to do on her foundations of teaching for learning class, as well as wanting to spend some time working on the design of her future lightsaber hilt.
Saoirse, glad she let the others answer before her since it not only gave her an idea of what kinds of things Atlantis expects them to be focusing on as well as giving her time to organize her thoughts about what she needs to get done for her university courses and what she would like to focus on here at the academy, spins her fork on the table as she tells Atlantis, "Well, let's see, for my uni work I have to study for an exam in digital evidence collection, and also at least start work on a paper on ethical considerations and legal fundamentals of cyber investigation that is due in a week. Switching from spinning the fork to drumming with it on her knee, Saoirse continues in somewhat uncertain tone that suggests she is seeking any input or ideas Atlantis might have for her, And for my training here, I was planning to practice the katas Ayla showed us, and then maybe practice some of the hand to hand techniques you showed me? Unless, you know, you think there are other things I should focus on?"

When each learners spoke, Atlantis listened attentively to what they were saying, which interest but also undivided attention. It always gave him a sense to what each individuals was interested and he also had to admit it allowed him to brush up on some of the knowledge too. He knew the fundamentals of most of the things, but he wasn't a scholar. Thankfully there were some teachers here for those classes because he certainly wasn't fit to teach any textbook teachings, he was a warrior to begin with. They all knew that, and he never hid when he didn't exactly have knowledge in some areas. So when Nadira asked him if he would be able to observe her lightsaber training combat, he inclined his head with a smile before saying. "Of course, I'll be happy to, I am sure I'll find you." =
As usual, Tach never disappointed, Atlantis knew it could grate a lot of people but he knew that Tach was compassionate and the caring type even if he sounded the way he did. Plus Atlantis supposed that there was always going to be someone like him in any given groups. In the end, Atlantis knew that Tach was interested in the studies he was leaving and he knew that several of the learners were interested in that. "I might have to sit in for that one, as I do want to hear your take and the others on that." He told Tach genuinely, after all he, too, was interested, Atlantis knew that the Mist Order definitely had autonomy here on Umgul, and when it came to Force sensitives, the MO was always, if not often called upon by the law enforcement here in Umgul, and they would work with them. But it truly had been a while since they worked truly together on a case, not something he would want a repeat on since a lot of casualties, but that was a story for another time, and one he didn't intend to delve into currently.
Which was the reason why he just brush those thoughts away and just looked at Cih with an amused expression. "If you do need some pointers there, don't hesitate." Atlantis left it at that, he knew that she was aware that he could be approached at any given time for whatever question, or anything. Atlantis also knew that she would want that hilt perfect for her, and so he wasn't rushing the process, and hopefully she wasn't either.
Looking at Saoirse who was answering him, Atlantis took a sip of his drink first then nodded glad that she was indeed handling her uni work but also leaning for her exam. He knew he got that handled, and so for the next part at least, that was something he could give her a hand so to speak. "Hand to hand techniques, there is a big chance that one of the siblings, or even both might come here, so you might get some first hand combat with one of them. As for the katas, we can work on that definitely, but what I actually was thinking, we can work on some of the core powers?" Atlantis suggested, after all yesterday during the limmie match, she truly was at ease, perhaps in a different setting now it would be fitting for her. He knew though that he wouldn't push her that much, he just wanted to see how she would call upon the Force now on a relatively "calm" setting.

Saoirse, absently twirling her fork around while Atlantis speaks with the other learners, smiles when he returns his attention to her and informs her that it is possible that the siblings he mentioned would be open to sparring with her might be making an appearance later, excited and nervous all at once at the prospect of getting her first chance to spar without the restraints training with Atlantis, who won't risk actually hitting her for reasons of his own, imposes. "Cool, Saoirse says, setting her fork down and beginning to fold and refold her napkin almost immediately, jokingly adding, Maybe Crystal will get to see that shirtless fight she's looking forward to, huh?" Saoirse herself finds that she too looks forward to seeing Atlantis spar, less due to the shirtless part and more due to the prospect of seeing him engage an opponent that he will be willing to strike; having only seem him demonstrate his skills in their tightly controlled sparring sessions, she wonders what it will be like to see Atlantis cast his restraint aside, imagining that it will also prove to be be a valuable learning experience to see two experienced Jedi sparring given that observing will further her understanding of what is possible to achieve with a better mastery of Force and hand to hand techniques.
Nodding eagerly when Atlantis mentions that he was thinking they might also train with some of the core Force powers, Saoirse says, "Yeah, I'd like that! After the limmie match she had participated in the previous day, which allowed her to observe the other learners using their skills while also proving that her own command of speed was more refined than she had thought given that she found it natural to employ it, Saoirse is eager to learn what progress she might make in other aspects of using the Force if she can allow herself to find a similar mindset and cast the self-doubt and lingering disbelief that she suspects have, in part, been holding her back so far. Which core powers did you have in mind?"

Aidan, digging heartily into his Ronto Morning Wraps as he reviews the information Umgul PD has on file about Mael Lavigne's prior convictions and known associates even though he has all but memorized the file, is oblivious to what his friends, Veda and Bria are doing to occupy themselves as they wait for Saoirse and Mahela to join them.
Bria, not quite awake yet, picks listlessly at the popping pearls and other assorted fruit slices in her Rising Moons Overnight Oats, occasionally popping a piece of fruit in her mouth between bouts of yawning.
Veda, returning to their table after stopping to comfort Gida'racor, an orange skinned Tolian Twi'lek Initiate that only recently arrived at the academy, who had just learned about the occupation of her homeworld, sets a steaming mug of stimcaf down in front of Bria, telling the blonde haired Kage, "I think you need that."
Smiling and taking a sip of the heavily caffeinated beverage, Bria tells her voluptuous Pyn'gani friend, "Thanks, then yawns before stating what everyone at the academy knows already, I am so not a morning person."
Aidan, finally setting his datapad aside and tuning into the conversation, brushes a lock of red hair that has fallen from the rest of his unruly mane and over his right eye as he announces cheerfully, "Ah, but Evil never sleeps, Bria, and we must . . ."
Interrupting Aidan with a groan and lifting her hand to shush him, Bria tells the leonine faced Gupin, "Oh no, no no. Aidan, it is way too early for your . . . she waves the hand around as she searches for an adjective and settles on simply stating, you."
Covering her amused smile by taking a bite from her Green Pearberry Toast, Veda looks towards the entrance to the dining hall and spots Mahela making her way towards it, telling her companions, "Mahela is heading inside now, but I don't see Saoirse."
Aidan, unperturbed by Bria's crankiness as he is well used to how it takes at least two cups of stimcaf to dispel it, waves to Mahela as he says, "Saoirse will not be far behind, I imagine," eager to get their plans for the day underway.
