Crystal understood all the underlying reasoning spoken from Andros about Elika's protective detail here, she also understood why Elika wanted to get rid of that while being home, so to speak, but it still did not explain why Elika had constantly been the one with a bodyguard while both Crystal and Lily had none, and if there was one, or several, Crystal had never realized that up till now, it was probably best to question either Andros or Atlantis if he knew, but as far as her knowledge went for security, the only thing she had been aware of was the lakehouse one... So Raan had been the one who had assigned Lucy to begin with to Elika, well as much as knowing the name of the person went, that still did not really help them out, so to speak, especially when Andros was so to speak the one who was unofficially in charge.
"We have already decided to start working on that, Andros." Crystal informed him before smiling in support to Elika, sure it was the jogging first but Crystal expected that perhaps they would go to the boxing phase, and that wasn't really something she was apprehending, but if indeed it managed to put Andros at ease more or less, then so be it. On the case of Franz, as Lily was already pleading for his case, Crystal decided to not add her two cents on that, she figured that for that it would be unwelcomed anyways and one was enough to bring forth that matter. Crystal agreed with her childhood friend, also they were going to be here, what really could happen, Franz shouldn't be reminded of the fact that he was still assigned to Elika until further notice when tomorrow they were all going to be remaining here.
Unless... Andros meant something else? Which the youngest identical twin from time to time she couldn't be sure, like she couldn't be sure if he was joking or was being serious. If it were a joke to begin with, Crystal was hoping that the man would excuse her and her childhood friend for that mistaken assumption and if it weren't then, Crystal supposed that it was a good thing to be addressed as well...
"Hopefully you will be hearing from her soon, Andros." Crystal meant that after she got over that little surprise when Andros actually started to answer without sugarcoating the whole thing at all. It got Crystal to think further than she wished at present time, but she was guessing that it was due to Lara's departure that he had buried himself into his work, nothing more and nothing less. The man didn't really seem to have that social life outside of his work, or at least he stopped having that when the woman left. Crystal wondered if it had anything to do with what she knew more or less as well. But the fragments of the conversation with her father and the fact that Ares seemed to be unreachable, like her dad, this was turning out to be not so much of a coincidence for her taste, and she had to add to that fact that Raan was quasi-absent as well for the time being...
The whole matter was just filled with some blanks here and there, and she also knew that she couldn't just dive straight up to that matter until she had all the answers, and she was guessing that it wouldn't happen so soon as next to that, she also was worried about the Vyridian brothers, not that she overtly showed, as least she was hoping that wasn't the case. Either way, she looked at Andros and smiled faintly as a thanks for his answer.

Elikapeka manages a tight smile after Andros has answered her question, his answer clearly not one that sits well with her despite her decision to refrain from arguing the point; the conditions Andros would impose seem a bit excessive to her, but from the sound of it Elika thinks that the decision will ultimately be Raan's, assuming she can somehow reach him in his seclusion when he seems to have cut ties with the outside world all but entirely. With all that is going on, Elika knows that there's no need to add another source of stress for anyone, especially Andros, and as she also knows how stubborn he can be once his mind is made up, Elika knows there's little point in debating the issue, no matter how little she feels she needs to have a round the clock body guard when she's on Umgul or how it would seem her feelings on the matter are being ignored.
Sipping her wine, Elika arches an eyebrow when Lily says that she may tease Delaana and Elika tomorrow, smiling as she shrugs and jokingly points out, "We probably won't even be paying attention, beautiful, so tease away," and then blows Lily a kiss to make it clear that she's only joking and doesn't mind the teasing should it be directed her or Delaana's way; as she knows that Lily wouldn't tease if she she didn't care, Elika knows that the teasing is well intentioned.
Nodding when Crystal tells Andros, after he more or less confirms - in that maddeningly vague way he and his twin seem to love confirming things without ever directly doing so - that he and Lara had been, or still are from the sounds of it, in a relationship, Elika refrains from commenting save for the nonverbal agreement that she hopes Andros will hear from Lara sooner rather than later, gathering from his reticence and vague answers that the subject isn't one that Andros is inclined to explore with them beyond the vague confirmation he has offered.

"Oh I am sure that you, Giggling at the thought really because it's amusing the heck out of me, but nonetheless, I am sure that there is some truth there, I am sure that it'll be applicable for me too. won't be paying attention at all, I mean picture her in a bikini, gorgeous. Need I say more? Really considering what the Hapan Bombshell has been wearing today, it was only sportsgear! Also I do not see her asking anyone but you to put some cream on her tomorrow."
Obviously, it's a no brainer. My bikini fantasy is going to be so epic, that we should probably make that a once a week event. "We should do that every weekend! I end up saying with a mischievous expression on my feature before sipping my wine. Or depending on the occasion, considering that I am sure that you two, Smiling at gorgeous as obviously I am referring to her and the Hapan Bombshell would want to spend some time alone one on one to just talk and get to know one another better."
It's not like I would mind having Delaana here all the time, but it's more the fact that I know myself that much and knowing that I would only tease gorgeous or the Hapan bombshell, perhaps they should find a spot where they truly can be on their own. This place is already packed anyways, considering that Lover Boy does spend his evening here and Boss Man is going to be here as well, I'd rather have gorgeous elsewhere than being here, as knowing her she'd probably be thinking that she is being rude and not so social.
But that matter is up to the both of them, I consider my job being done anyways when I pushed her earlier. So ... Blowing a kiss to gorgeous to let her know that I am merely pulling her leg, and besides I am already sure that she knows all of that about me, I end up looking at both Pookie and Hot Stuff, because they have both been silent. "Either I have really traumatized them both, or they prefer to not even take part in the conversation because they know that potentially they may get in trouble ..."
Or maybe they are merely lost in thoughts and are currently processing several things at once from the potential revelation from Boss Man that he has been or is currently in a relationship with Lara Drake, to what he perhaps has said about not being so lenient with Pookie tomorrow ...

From ever since Delaana had taken her leave, to Lily, his girlfriend, had slapped him, Ryan had eerily been silent, due to a lot of things. One of the main reason, he supposed, it was the fact that he really felt like he had nothing to say, not because he did not want to take part in the conversation but because those topics he had no say in those at all. It started from the philanthropist couple, which to him made no sense somehow but he also couldn't deny the fact that perhaps Atlantis did have a valid reason that went beyond the simple logic really. What if Atlantis was wrong?
The thing that brought him the most concern though, it was the fact that his sister was more or less implicated in that warning, to what degree? He had no clue, and still he was no Jedi Master, his training stopped at healing more or less, plus some Force powers that got him to be a Jedi Knight but then he never had that inclination to make it a priority in becoming a guardian so to speak.
"Whoa... Wait a second," Ryan looked at Andros with surprise quite honestly but also in awe somehow. "You and Lara Drake? The Lara Drake, daughter of Lynx Drake, the man that I have been scared of after Rex, you are telling me that you and she are in a complicated relationship?" What Ryan knew of Lara from back then, sure they were just kids but he remembered her being strong willed and very passionate about whatever she had been studying. Ryan nonetheless had fond memories of his childhood whenever he found himself with all of them, plus it got him to spend some time with Angelyna Drake, who gave him comfort most of the time and who also pushed him to pursue something he loved. He could even say that it was thanks to her that he started being passionate about science and even healing others.
Obviously from the brief interactions he had had with Lara Drake, one of the most notable one, that evening at the Shadowmist restaurant, Ryan could definitely tell that she seemed to be just like she had been when they were younger. Ryan simply smiled soon enough and looked at Andros with a noticeable warmth in his gaze before looking at Lily with a narrowed expression. "Whether I do talk or not, I manage to get in trouble anyways..." He pursed his lips thoughtfully and looked at Elika knowingly. "So you did the pushing, I don't suppose that she flat out said the obvious and that got my sister to take her away to stop her from doing more pushing?"

"Clearly you haven't traumatized Ryan that much." Crystal looked at her childhood friend knowingly considering that Ryan went on about Andros complicated relationship with Lara. From the sound of it, now that she thought about it, Ryan was a close friend to not only Lara but also Raan and it looked to her that they all grew up together. Crystal knew who her father was, and she was quite aware that he was part of Coruscant's upper class, could it be that Raan too? After all he always went by honorifics whenever he had come to address any of them. "Time out, Ry." Forming a tee with her hands as she looked at Ryan dubiously she briefly closed her eyes and finally found that courage to ask.
"You and Ares grew up with Raan and the Drake siblings because their parents and our dad," Crystal gave him a meaningful look to warn him to not even start fussing about Virgil Solaris because it was either that, or calling their father by name, but obviously whether Ryan liked it or not, Crystal would still refer to Virgil as her dad, he was much, much better than her stepfather anyways despite all of the former's flaws. "Were close friends, or even part of the same circle?"
Crystal was quite aware that she was digging into a background that she probably shouldn't be digging into too much but she still had questions with needed answers that she couldn't obtain so far due to the fact that she couldn't even reach her dad currently, because apparently he was busy with something that was very obscure to her. Picking up her glass of wine again to take a sip of her drink, she returned the glass onto the table with a pensive frown.
Letting Ryan answer that question of hers whenever he felt like it, Crystal nibbled her lower lip and shook her head before taking a deep breath. Maybe she wouldn't get the answer and maybe her brother would prefer to keep those facts unsaid for now but still, she needed to know what her dad meant a while ago when he said that he had been protecting something so dark that only when the three houses were together once again would it make sense. That thought made her briefly chuckle, albeit humorlessly, but it just annoyed her that it seemed that not only her dad was being vague about certain issues, but every Jedi on this planet seemed to be adopting the same way Virgil expressed himself.
"I've just had a thought," She finally started to explain, for all she knew maybe her friends were starting to think that she was crazy or something, but far from it. "You know when," Crystal said to no one in particular really. "You first get on a different location to start a new life and maybe make it better by leaving some issues behind, you get on that said new location and then other issues arise, and you just don't know what to really do or think about those because you don't have all of the answers, and you are left with trying to guess?" That was a rhetorical statement, maybe at this point right now she was clearly having a nervous breakdown perhaps. "Wouldn't it perhaps be easier to just get those answers when you ask for them instead of wanting to withhold a few things because you are wanting to protect the person or people you care about?"
Crystal probably needed a moment to breathe, and thankfully she had found that out right now, which was why she grabbed the empty bottle of wine and stood up from her seat. "I'll be right back, I am just going to get another bottle." Sighing softly, perhaps she indeed was having a nervous breakdown with everything that had happened today, with what Atlantis had told her earlier and what she had just shared with Elika about staying away from that couple, plus now there had been some added information from her brother. With all of that in mind, Crystal made her way towards the lakehouse and straight in the kitchen breathing in peacefully and exhaling afterwards.

He pursed his lips when Andros had told him that he wouldn't be so lenient with Franz concerning tomorrow, but what would actually happen tomorrow? Whether Andros was joking or not, Franz couldn't tell right that instant and he actually preferred not to reply the man currently because that may end up badly with a back and forth that he preferred not to have. Even if Lily did have several points there, Franz just looked at the Attorney General and smiled gratefully but soon he slightly shook his head to tell her that she didn't need to defend him really. Before Franz could even reply to Andros just to soften the blow to the younger Vyridian twin, his attention was turned towards Elika and he looked at her with a faint smile, actually he did not take any offense to that. He understood what she wanted and what she needed really, all in all she just found the fact of having a bodyguard planetside not necessary but alas, that was a decision made by someone else, although Andros gave his conditions to potentially waive that thing about Elika.
Franz could see the point being made by Andros, with what Atlantis had disclosed earlier relayed by Crystal not so long ago, but still Franz did feel that Elika deserved her privacy, especially if she was going to spend plenty of time with Delaana, who would actually want a chaperone in those times? Not wanting to add any more tension to the evening that the day had already provided, Franz just remained silent and kept on sipping his beer from time to time until that revelation about Andros' relationship with Lara Drake. Franz looked at his cousin slightly surprised but then again he did notice that whenever Lara was around Andros, the woman seemed to soothe the Vice Governor. Franz was starting to connect the dots more or less, could it be that Andros started wearing those bracelets around the same time Lara had left? He did notice that it had been a while since Andros truly used the Force and whenever he trained back at the Academy there was no usage of it...
"I do hope that you hear from her soon, cugino." Franz told Andros sincerely, not knowing what was happening and because he was still bound to his duties as Vice Governor, Franz was pretty certain that Andros was perhaps irritated that the man had not gone with Lara, who was also his apprentice. Franz looked at his cousin, his real biological cousin when he started going off about Lara and Andros, that caused Franz to furrow his eyebrows slightly. "I suppose that Lara does indeed have her ways..." Smirking at the thought before glancing at Andros just to let him know that he was joking, Franz did not expect for the following thing to happen.
Franz looked at Crystal dubiously and tilted his head on the side because he was just confused about what she was saying right now and he clearly did not know what to do or say, and he wasn't probably the best person to soothe her at all. Franz looked from his cousins, to both women with a noticeable frown as he watched Crystal stand up and take a moment under the pretense that she was going to get another bottle. Although in her statements, he had to admit that she had a point or several but still, it did not change the fact that he was left clueless right now, "I..." Clearly he had no idea on what to say, and instead of saying something, Franz just picked up his datapad to send a message to Atlantis, an encrypted one, to tell him that he should get back here ASAP.

Try as she might to look more annoyed by the prospect of Lily imagining Delaana in a bikini than actually intrigued by that very same prospect herself, Elikapeka winds up smiling in such a way that makes it evident she is more amused by Lily's usual lack of a filter and habitual stating of the obvious things most beings wouldn't just throw out in conversation, and in the end just shakes her head and takes a sip of her wine rather than try and come up with something either teasingly annoyed or simply amusing to reply to Lily's statement. Crinkling her nose and grinning while nodding her head to agree with Lily's next statement of the obvious, Elika confirms that, "Yes, beautiful, I do imagine that there will be times that we'll want to be together alone. Lifting a hand and tilting her head to the side, Elika adds a statement of the obvious of her own, Not that we don't enjoy your all's company, of course, but, she shrugs with a grin, I'm sure you understand."
Looking every bit as uncomfortable as Franz after Crystal gets up to have a moment to herself after what her brother had said, or so it seems to Elika, apparently brought the fact that there are a number of things that have been kept from her to the forefront of her mind for the moment, Elika exchanges a look with Franz accompanied by a shrug to let him know that he is not alone in the discomfort he seems to be feeling. Secrets rising up to bite those that keep them as well as those that care for those that keep them in the butt seems to be a theme for the evening; Andros' decision to keep his past from becoming public knowledge a part of the reason the media and the lawyer making the accusations against him and Atlantis are able to sway public opinion, and whatever secrets Crystal's family has been keeping from her, no matter how benign the intentions behind the decision, clearly weighing on her all the same. Looking over towards Lily, Elika arches an eyebrow while tilting her head towards the house to silently ask whether Lily thinks it best to leave Crystal alone, or whether it would be better if one or both of them go and see if their friend would prefer a sympathetic shoulder, or shoulders, to lean on or maybe even punch since Atlantis is not currently around to play the role of human punching bag.

"Ooo la la, gorgeous ... Fanning myself for the obvious reasons, my mind definitely has gone to its usual place, and besides no one is going to judge me here, they all know that I am like that, so nothing to be worried about. Of course all of us do understand, it's not like you'd want a chaperon whenever you are clearly with the Hapan Bombshell." I am probably pushing it anyways, but it's not like I will apologize for that, because again, this is me and I just love saying the obvious, also I have no filter.
Now what is Ryan on about, and what the heck Crystal is on about as well? From what I understand, with that statement from baby girl, Raan Jade, Lara Drake and her brother, but also the Solaris are all descents of Coruscant's nobility? Well that answers my previous question. But it doesn't stop there as clearly something is wrong with baby girl and it looks like she is having one of those nervous breakdowns. Even if Ryan is saying something right now, I only lift my hand in his direction so that he gives me a moment, for clearly what Crystal has just said is bothering her. Which I can totally understand; not knowing is just the worse thing ever when a person wants to go forward.
"Give me a sec, hot stuff ... Looking over at gorgeous and nodding to the both of us before gesturing towards the lakehouse, I clearly tell her that we should follow Crystal because this is one of those moments where it is actually better to be there for her, otherwise Crystal would have said she prefers to be alone, and maybe she'll say it once gorgeous and I are both there. Pookie, tell Lover Boy to get his ass back here, and now."
Usually I wouldn't even push a person to get the head honcho of the Mist Order back here while he is in the middle of something important, but this is clearly unprecedented. Standing up from my seat after putting my glass down onto the table, I walk back towards the lakehouse to assuredly find baby girl in the kitchen since she did say that she was going to get another bottle. "Kayne. So yes, I might have last named her, and yes I am not joking. Talk to me, to us, Glancing at gorgeous since she and I are both here for her, I do not see the reason why Crystal cannot just let it all out. What was that all about, and did it have something to do with your dad or the talk you had with him after you know ..?" From what I do remember, baby girl did inform me a while ago that she and her dad did have a talk, I wasn't told anything, and clearly now that I am thinking about, I should probably have pushed ...

Crystal found herself into the kitchen disposing the empty bottle and then finding another bottle to drink. Maybe she probably shouldn't do that, the worse thing she could do was to drown her issues into alcohol and that was out of the question. Sighing softly, Crystal let the bottle sit on the kitchen island before running a hand through her hair knowing that how she reacted or what she said was the last thing she should have done when this day was already filled with drama. Still what she had said back in the gardens, she meant everything and she really wished that she would hear from her father soon because this was turning to be ridiculous especially when she was still trying to make something out of all the things she had been told, of all the things Virgil had told her.
Maybe part of how she was acting currently was due to what Atlantis had told her, added to that all of the things her brother had just said. Clearly, not only she seemed to be part of a family that was heavily packed with issues but she wasn't wanting all of this. Looking over Lily and Elika when the former started to speak, Crystal closed her eyes momentarily and sat down on one of the stools around the kitchen island before sighing softly. "In a way..." Crystal replied to her childhood friend, what Virgil did tell her a while ago, that shocked her, to the point that she was frustrated and angry, she also resented what she had gone through and what he had done to her. This clearly she could no longer keep this for herself and she clearly needed to say something about this.
First though, Crystal lifted her index finger to indicate to give her a sec, but then she realized that no matter what, she guessed that Franz could isolate the noise and hear anything so she just placed her hand back onto the kitchen island and looked at her friends. "When I was a year old, my dad sealed off my sensitivity." It wasn't something she'd remember, of course not, she was too young to know anyways. "Because apparently people were after him, after his closest friends and he did not want for me to be in the middle of that." Crystal started to nibble slightly her lower lip. "He told me that it was his greatest mistake but at the same time the best decision he had ever made because that allowed me to live my life the way I wanted to which my mom leaving him and taking us to Alderaan."
Clearly Crystal was having a hard time to speak about all of this and her voice seemed lifeless right now, just flat. "He did things he is not so proud of and he also despise himself for failing his closest friends, the ones he called family." Crystal frowned as she looked at both Lily and Elika, and obviously the only friends she could think about currently were the Drake parents but also the Jade. "He doesn't want that to happen to any of us, at first I thought it was me, Ares and Ryan but with everything Ryan has just said right there, it sounded to me that he meant more than the three of us, you know?" Massaging her temple briefly, as for the time being, Crystal still had no idea who or what caused all of that, but all she knew was that she still had questions and she needed some answers. "I just need to speak with him, and I need to hear from Ares too but I also know that if I ask Ryan about our dad, he is just going to shut off, you saw how he reacted back then when I first met my brothers and he was there?" Crystal looked at Elika, she still remembered that day like it was yesterday, Franz being temporarily amnesiac, her brothers showing up back there at Bliss' medical facility in Raan's estate, and of course her blurting out 'dad' unexpectedly when she saw that Virgil was standing there.

As relieved as she is that at least Lily understands the reason Elikapeka isn't pleased by the decision to keep a bodyguard watching over her at all times, with Crystal's obviously being upset by the secrets her family have been keeping, on top of all that is happening with Andros and Atlantis, Elika knows that now really isn't the time to dwell on her comparatively trivial problems, and so other than a grateful smile to Lily, Elika sets the matter aside and follows Lily into the house.
Putting a hand on Crystal's back to soothingly rub her back, Elika frowns as she listens to her friend describe what she had learned from her father, and then of what she feels was suggested by her brother's comments; while she doesn't understand all that is implied by what Crystal says, which is not surprising given that it sounds as though not even Crystal herself knows all of the reasons for her father's decision, or how and why it is that it is not only their family that is involved in whatever had been going on, or may still be going on. Elika can certainly understand why Crystal finds the whole subject so distressing. Nodding to confirm for Crystal that she recalls what she is referring to, Elika continues rubbing her friend's back as she tries to think of something to say to provide Crystal some comfort or relief, only to find that she cannot think of a single thing to say other than, "I wish I could say or do something to make it all easier hon', but, she frowns, clearly feeling more than a little helpless given that she really has no way to make things any easier for her friend, I'm not sure I really can say or do anything other than promise to be right here with you, you know? You aren't alone, ever. Me and Lily are always behind you, or beside you, or wherever you want us to be. Trying to lighten things up at least a little, Elika puts on a determined face and asks, Do you want me and Lily to go out there and make your brother talk hon'? You know how relentless Lily can be; we'll have him singing in no time if you say the word."

One thing I do know, when I compare Crystal's and Ryan's relationship with their father, they are on a different wavelink. The former actually does want to see Virgil Solaris while the latter doesn't want to do anything with him. While I can understand the reasons why the infamous Virgil Solaris has been very present in his daughter's life, due to what he has done to her, I still do not understand why he pretty much erased himself from the fraternal twins life, or at least Ryan's. Since I do not know Ares that much anyways ... Maybe it has something to do with baby girl not being sensitive before and now that she is and very well surrounded, he is no longer that worried about her? That is just a guess and I do not want to state what I am currently thinking when I clearly do not have facts, but it does seem logical. Ares and Ryan, their whole life have been attuned to the Force and therefore perhaps can fend for themselves while Crystal probably could not, at least not against a Force user?
"What I do know about your dad, At first I have not really spend too much thoughts on it, I thought it was just a redundant joke, and clearly it fell into a routine between the two of us. He keeps calling me 'counselor' I keep calling him 'Lord Solaris' while I do know that his family, therefore Crystal and her siblings, is nobility, none of them ever made a big deal out of it. he is a good man." I am sure that fact can be argued, depending on who you are addressing, like say Ryan ...
Speaking of Ryan, and gorgeous' suggestion, I end up looking at her with a conflicted expression and even wince at the thought of making Ryan talk about that matter. "Gorgeous is right, undoubtedly, I will always be there no matter what but ... Pursing my lips and sighing softly, this is a matter that clearly I do not want to canvass and I do have my reasons which I do not hesitate to say. I have promised her brother to never ever bring up Virgil Solaris until he is ready to talk about that. Surprising as that may sound, I am very sure of that, but I do not go back on my promises, at least it depends on the circumstances. Oh for kriff sake, this is force majeure. Groaning at the thought and gritting my teeth, I do not care, at this point, between baby girl and hot stuff, it's a no brainer, I know which side I may end up choosing anyways. Whatever, forget I said that, tell me, Seriously looking at Kayne right now since I pretty much have taken my decision and if Ryan and I are going to argue about this, then so be it. Want me to grill him for answers or not?"

For a moment, Crystal felt that she did not deserve to be comforted whether it was by Elika rubbing her back or for her two friends just being here with her. She knew that they were both here to show their support but at the same time she felt that the issue that she had brought up was uncalled for with everything happening to Andros and also Atlantis, no one needed the extra drama right? Crystal shook her head before running a hand to her face as if to clear her thoughts, but obviously that wouldn't do the trick, and instead of fighting that warmth, that comfort given by her friends, she should probably just embrace it.
"I love you two, and thank you." Crystal meant that, and without a doubt she'd do anything for both of them also if one of them were in her current position but right now, she had no idea whether or not she should actually go with Elika's suggestion, although some part of her was saying that the architect was joking or just trying to lift the mood, Lily though she definitely looked determined and if there was one thing Crystal was very aware about her childhood friend, she'd do it no matter what. "No, leave him be about that subject." Crystal finally said as she looked at Lily meaningfully. "Ryan was ready to deck our dad when I first met my brothers,"
Since Elika was there, she had seen that, witnessed that and it wasn't a pretty sight at all. "I guess that in order to contact dad, I may go through different channels." Not something she was really looking forward to but she supposed that she could try there since she remembered that not only her boyfriend was very familiar with her dad, but so was Franz. As she thought about the latter though, there was something that came back to her. Virgil Solaris was in the slums of Coruscant and even had saved Franz apparently... But that wasn't what really interested her at that moment.
Something about protecting them all?
"Sweetie, I know that you recall details better than me," That was a fact, at least it was how she really saw Elika, managing to always recall something if and when it was necessary, sure she could have asked Atlantis since the man seemed to manage to recall details with near precision or something. "Do you remember what Pookie said when he came back after that episode of him thinking he was a twel-..." Crystal did not recall how old he was considering himself at that time so she only settled for, after a pause. "Pre-teen?"

Elikapeka thinks, judging from Crystal's body language, that she and Lily made the right decision not to leave their friend alone; though she seems only slightly less distraught now compared to when she had left the lounge area out by the pool, Crystal at least seems more collected now, as though she is thinking things through rather than simply reacting to them. Having only been joking, for the most part, about aggressively interrogating Ryan, Elika nods her agreement for Lily's sake when Crystal points out that the last time her brother and their father were in the same place they nearly came to blows; the last thing anyone needs at the moment is more drama being added to everyone's collective plate, and Ryan is not likely to be forthcoming where his and Crystal's father is concerned given how much anger seems to surround Ryan's feelings where his father is concerned.
Elikapeka frown in thought after Crystal asks if she can remember what Franz had said after coming back to himself after the incident that caused him to regress to a much earlier time in his life, and then closes her eyes to try and recall her memories of that place. Like some artists that work in a visual medium, Elika has always been a primarily visually oriented being, and that trait is one that had carried over to her studies when she had to find ways to retain large collections of facts or knowledge bases; and like yet other artists before her, Elika's memories have been arranged into what some call a memory palace - a visual representation of her memories and stored knowledge that allows her to more easily recall information. The moments in question occurred in Bliss Sunsoar's lab, and have accordingly been assigned a small table upon which a collection of beakers and other bits and pieces of laboratory equipment have been arranged in her memory palace, and the wall behind the table is decorated by a large painting of a setting sun; the combination serving to provide Elika easy access to her memories of the time spent in that place and at that time. Without opening her eyes, Elika says, "Franz had been laying asleep on a couch. Ryan and Virgil had been kept from fighting by Mace and Ayla. Ayla said that Franz had been given the cloth the day Virgil saved him from a dianoga, and that Virgil told him not to tell anyone because he was protecting them all. Ryan asked Virgil what he had been protecting them from, and said it had been twenty five years, and that they all deserved to know. Her brows knit as Elika struggles to remember precisely what Franz had said, and speaks more slowly as she recalls, That is when Franz woke up, and he told Ryan that Virgil had been, or maybe still was protecting them because people had been coming after them. Franz said he didn't know how he knew that, and that he just knew that everyone should . . . no, he said that Virgil had to be trusted. Opening her eyes, not sure that what she remembers will make any more sense to Crystal than it does to her, Elika rubs her back and says, The only other thing that I remember is what Virgil said after Franz said that Ryan had to trust him. He said that he couldn't explain things to Ryan then, but that he might sooner or later depending on something that he had recently found out."

Since I am well aware how Ryan feels about his dad, what baby girl tells me right there about the first encounter and Ryan wanting to punch Virgil, I am not surprised at all ... It doesn't change what I think about Virgil Solaris, I truly believe that he is a good man, even what he has done to baby girl is extreme but he does have his reasons, therefore I cannot really entirely fault him for that. But I do make a point by looking at Crystal meaningfully that I am very willing to talk with Ryan about this, all she needs is to give me a sign.
"Different channels? Repeating baby girl's statement rhetorically to begin with, I though she had exhausted all of her resources ... What different channels, baby girl?" Something about that statement doesn't sit that well with me, while I do know that baby girl would be capable of such things, it's not really something I may want to hear, or whatever, especially if that implies Crystal purposely putting herself into trouble so that Virgil feels something is wrong.
Instead of focusing onto that though, I look and listen to the ongoing exchange happening between baby girl and gorgeous, something about Pookie thinking that he has been in his younger years? Now that is something that I am hearing for the first time, but the details that do interest me, it's all there spoken by gorgeous. It means that Pookie would then know something, right? "Wait, I am a little confused there, gorgeous ... From the sound of it, it does look like Pookie might know something, anything that would perhaps quench for he time being baby girl's curiosity or something. Or maybe not so confused, but it sounds to me like perhaps Pookie knows something? Judging from what gorgeous has just relayed and what happened that day, it looks like it's a no brainer. Obviously Virgil hasn't said a thing to Ryan at all because he is still feeling the same way about his father."
There is one other thing though that is boggling me, Ayla who is Mace's cousin but also a Mist Order Councilor like her cousin, she knew those details? "Does Ayla, or even Mace, know Virgil that much? It is a legit question, in my opinion, and how is it that Ayla knows about that detail. Or maybe she has been a long time friend of Franz's If Pookie was sleeping, how would she know about the cloth and the dianoga, did Ayla and Franz know one another for a while now?"

Ryan looked at his sister when she requested for a time out, he had that inquisitive expression on his features and wondered what she might be saying next. What she said, quite honestly, it wasn't something he was keeping a secret at all, it was just that he never talked about it because he was never asked about it; at least up till now. The mention of their dad though made him cringe briefly but he managed to quickly get over that and nodded to confirm what Crystal was asking or saying. From what Ryan knew of his family history, he was part of a long line of... important people filled with privileges? Ryan never saw it as that, sure from a stranger's point of view, he had the perfect life, the best upbringing and he was very fortunate to be part of that upper class, but internally what was the use of dwelling into that when clearly to him, it was meaningless.
He could tell though that the mishap from his, those revelations from him clearly had a grave impact on his sister, something was clearly wrong and her words resounded to his mind for he clearly felt guilty, he didn't even know why, but he felt guilt right then and there. He wanted to go after her, apologize and even make her feel better, to let her know that he did not intend for those feelings to spring out but Lily along with Elika got there first, and when he thought about it, they were the best people to make Crystal feel better, at least he hoped.
"I am surprised that she never knew..." Ryan said to no one in particular, really and truthfully he was surprised, sure perhaps he was misleading about it, and perhaps because he never inquired that much about the other members of those Houses but one thing was certain, he was clearly missing spending some time with them, like they did back in the days, whether it was on Coruscant or on Naboo, and now that they were here...
Sighing softly, Ryan knew that there was no point in dwelling onto that when clearly this wasn't the time to broach the subject when there are far more important things happening currently, like that splat with the press, and he still had other things to think about like get in contact with a certain someone still even if Ryan did leave a message earlier. Then the inconceivable happened, Ryan heard his comlink signal him that he had a pending message to be listened to, he grabbed the device from his pocket and listened to it.
Ryan Solaris, devo parlare con te e Crystal. Vengo a Umgul subito, fratello. Ares left it at that and cut down the communication. Needless to say, he had a serious tone and he was pretty sure that Ryan would understand that this was very serious, and not just airtalk.
First reaction from Ryan relief, but then that reaction was superseded by a frown, his brother sounded very serious and Ares needed to speak with both Ryan and Crystal... What now? Ryan supposed that he would find out whenever Ares did get here, although that message did trouble him for so many reasons, there was no 'I am fine', no nothing but just that.... Ryan looked in the lakehouse's direction and closed his eyes briefly to lock onto his sister's signature before calling her. Crystal... You need to hear this.

"Wherever he used to hang out back on Coruscant..." Crystal said to her childhood friend, not an enchanting perspective at all since, the description that stuck to her father was that of a playboy. Crystal was conflicted about that, she knew that there was some truth to it, actually no there was very much a truth to it but at the same time, she was wondering if he was actually doing that on purpose to be seen that way, like a regular man enjoying the things right before him. Maybe it was a ruse about him, and maybe...
And there was that other maybe, Crystal sighed because she clearly didn't want to psychoanalyze her dad at all but she knew that if he had managed to seal her sensitivity a long time ago only for it to reappear relatively recently, then he was knowledgeable in the Force, but she couldn't tell with him as when she had that talk with Virgil Solaris, she did not feel any signature from him and then she understood, he too had a stygium crystal like some of the Jedi on this planet.
Listening attentively to Elika, Crystal knew that she could trust in her friend's ability to recall that event with precision. It got Crystal to cross her arms dubiously in thought and when Elika started saying those events she could have sworn that Virgil was clearly looking in Mace's direction or was it Ayla? Crystal couldn't tell exactly since the cousins were standing next to one another. Crystal smiled at Elika gratefully for recalling that moment before glancing at Lily. "I am sure that Franz does know something or at least perhaps he knows more than Ryan..." Obviously if Franz said that it was best to trust Virgil despite knowing how Ryan felt about Virgil, then it was only the perfect explanation.
As for Ayla and Virgil and/ or Franz knowing one another for a while now, Crystal had no idea at all. What she did know though, that was something far greater than perhaps any relationships one had with another. "That, I cannot say at all but if there is one thing that I do know," Crystal nibbled her lower lip before glancing at Elika who already knew but Lily she wasn't too certain about that. "The cousins, Ayla and Mace, have innate capabilities, they are mind-readers. But the Kiffars are also the most secretive and enigmatic group here." Crystal always pegged the Jedi to be evasive and often they talked in a way that didn't really answer a question, but when it came to Mace, apparently she had the others beat.
Crystal was about to go on when she felt her brother brushing her mind and hearing clearly what he wanted to convey. It got her to furrow her eyebrows and she stood up from the stool gently before looking at her friends. "Apparently Ryan needs me to hear something... And it sounded serious." Hopefully it wasn't that bad because she was so ready to shut this day entirely and move forward to the next day already. Give me a moment, Ry. Crystal told him after keeping that link between the two of them and she sighed softly before shaking her head. "I cannot believe that I am saying this, but I so want the bikini fantasy to happen right about now."

Franz wished he had said something, but he knew that something might be uncalled for as after all he wasn't the most articulate of beings here and surely knowing himself, he might say the wrong thing at the wrong time, so instead he busied himself with his datapad and waited to add that addendum to Atlantis about getting back here right about now. Franz had faith in the fact that both Elika and Lily would manage to settle the CFO down, or at least make her feel better.
He had to admit though, Crystal did have a point but again, whether some of them knew things or not, apparently there was that golden rule that most of them, if not all, abode to it. If it weren't their story to tell, whether they knew that story or not, they would never say a thing at all. Franz supposed that this was one of those moments, but then when he looked at his cousin noticing the genuine surprise on his features, Franz did not blame him either. "It's not like people broadcast it daily, Ryan..." Let alone made a big deal out of it, because they never did at all. It was only those overt signs perhaps that would lead people to that conclusion, the upper Coruscant accents, the markings perhaps on their being, the crests, if someone did look deep enough, Franz was certain they would know and come to realize a few things about Raan Jade, even Lara/ Keith Drake but also the Solaris family as a whole.
Franz temporarily had in mind to check out on the women in the kitchen, also there was no way he was going to be eavesdropping on them, therefore whatever they were talking about right there, he had no idea nor did he wish to know lest they wanted to share. For now he was more focused onto that message that his cousin had received from the fraternal twin and that caused Franz to furrow his eyebrows dubiously. "That was Ares right? He is coming here?"
It seemed like Coruscant's nobility was gathering in the Mid Rim, now the only people that were missing were the Drake siblings, well that should be interesting, although it wasn't really something he was wanting to witness because indeed, if a few got wind of this, that may stir more havoc to come, but at least something was certain, if a particular someone was aware of that, then maybe that same person would also make his way here. In the end, Franz supposed that it could be a good thing for Crystal...?

Frowning helplessly while shrugging her shoulders when Lily asks a series of questions concerning whether Franz might know more than he has let on, or how Mace came to know about the incident Franz had referred to, Elikapeka lets her friend know without saying a word that she is in the dark as well where those questions are concerned; not that she finds being in the dark about those matters particularly surprising given that they do not involve her at all, save for the fact that as they do involve Crystal, she is tangentially involved as her friend.
Nodding when Crystal espouses her belief that Franz definitely knows something, Elika doesn't suggest anything, like pressing Franz to reveal whatever it might be that he knows, and instead continues to listen to her friend as she goes on to speak of Mace, Ayla, and the Kiffars in general. Snorting a quiet laugh when Crystal describes the Kiffars as secretive and enigmatic, Elika doesn't observe aloud that the statement is quite a declaration with how secretive and enigmatic it is quickly becoming apparent that most of the Jedi in the Mist Order are; Elika supposes that they all have their reasons, and that those reasons have the most benign of intentions behind them, but she also cannot help but wonder if any of those that guard the secrets that are not entirely theirs as they involve others, like Crystal in the present instance, have ever once stopped to consider that keeping the secrets may ultimately do as much, if not more, harm than good.
Keeping her thoughts to herself, Elika arches an eyebrow when Crystal explains that Ryan needs her to hear something that sounds serious, Elika gives her friend's shoulder a gentle squeeze and nods towards the door leading out to the pool, saying, "You'd better go and see what it is, or hear it anyway. Snickering half-heartedly when Crystal jokes about wishing the bikini fantasy was happening now, Elika crinklesher nose and says jokingly, I'll see if I can't convince beautiful to put on her bikini while you're out there hon', it can be a mini-bikini fantasy, or a preview, or . . . something."

Where he usually hangs out in Coruscant ... I suppose that is a start, and also if baby girl doesn't try that route then she might never know. Perhaps someone right there might have seen him recently or something. But what if he isn't even on Coruscant? Since I do not want to be a downer, I do not even raise that question and just nod at what baby girl has just said, but I make a point by looking at her meaningfully that perhaps she shouldn't hold her breath right there. All I know right now, just the fact that several facts have been dropped and about the Jedi? Actually, that is something that doesn't surprise me to begin with.
They, just like me, are entitled to some secrecy but when, for this instance, it may very well concern baby girl, I can understand why some have come to be evasive but I also do not understand why those facts aren't laid out clearly right before us, or more importantly Crystal. Clearly, that is a different world I believe, but c'mon Kayne is Force sensitive now, can't she have some leeway or something? "Then you should go, Gesturing towards the gardens when baby girl says that her brother wants for her to hear something, I am not the one who is going to stop her anyways, especially if Ryan has sounded serious a moment ago. Leave the bottle, I think it's time for us to upgrade our drinks."
Grabbing that said bottle that baby girl has retrieved earlier, I put that back into storage and find shot glasses into the cabinet along with that bottle of namana but I end up pausing briefly upon hearing gorgeous' joke and I look at her while making a face. "Gorgeous, I know you'd want to see me in a bikini, but really, you could have asked a little more romantically, Despite that straight face of mine, and the chiding tone I have, clearly I am joking and I emphasize that by winking at her playfully and giggling softly. Although, it's true, I do have to try the bikinis I have purchased yesterday."
Now that I really do think about it, yesterday I have only dumped all of my shopping into my room and did nothing more about it, only this morning did I rummage through all of that to wear what I am wearing currently. "That being said, I don't think it'll sweeten the deal for baby girl because she has already seen me in a bikini. Briefly looking at Crystal, I shrug and finally find that bottle I have been looking for, the namana. Second option, we make her drink this, and we make her dance."

Ryan was still holding onto his comlink until he placed that on the table clearly hearing and acknowledging his sister's words. It was so good to be hearing from Ares but the message that his fraternal twin left really unsettled Ryan. One thing was certain though, he was glad to know that Ares was fine but about him coming to Umgul from wherever really and so suddenly, that left Ryan perplexed. Thankfully for him though he did not linger on that when he head his cousin speak to him.
The part that no one broadcast that daily, Ryan understood that entirely because after all he was the same as them, nothing more nothing less, and he supposed that if there was one thing where he could be guilty for, it was not letting his sister know, although that particular conversation never really came up anyways. So could he really take all of the blame for that? He wasn't sure at all nor did he want to linger on that matter. "Si, that was Ares and indeed he is making his way here to Umgul soon."
Ryan just looked at Franz and even Andros right there who might have fallen asleep or something, he did not know but the younger Vyridian twin had been silent so perhaps he was catching up on that sleep that he had been missing. It wasn't until his sister made her way back into the gardens that Ryan did look at her and he pointed at his comlink before telling her.
"It's from Ares, he just left a message, you should listen to it." Ryan said softly with a grave expression, and while he was indeed happy because finally they had some news from the man, the content of the message was just debilitating his happy. Ryan frowned and leaned back against his seat before taking a deep breath while waiting for his sister's housemate to come back here as Crystal might probably need more support again.
Currently though, he just rubbed his face with his left hand as if wanting to dispel that feeling deep inside, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to do so as there was only one person who could do that, it was Ares himself, and that suddenly gave Ryan the chills and he definitely had a bad feeling about all of that.
