Lakehouse - Porch
Having said her farewells, Delaana followed Elika towards the lakehouse and soon found themselves right there on the front porch and she was currently sitting on the steps with an arm around Elika's shoulder as they sat close to one another. "I promise to make it up to you, my Shakal." Lana said sincerely before pecking gently Elika's lips. Smiling warmly hoping that it was any consolation, for she after all always follow through her promises no matter what.
"We can definitely start with tomorrow, and more after that, and one evening, we can even stay up all night to just talk with some coffee, or even your famed hot cocoa wherever you'd be most comfortable with." She suggested softly, from what Lana knew more or less, Elika preferred to be either amongst a few close friends of her, than be surrounded by strangers or whatever. Still Lana did not want to sound pushy at all, so she was letting Elika to choose the location of where she preferred to spend that all nighter for just a conversation about getting to know one another better. Lana would actually like that and enjoy that, for she was genuinely having a great time with Elika.
Placing a hand onto Elika's cheek and resting momentarily her forehead against hers, Lana smiled for a long moment just enjoying the moment they were spending together right now and alone, where none of them would need to watch so to speak their actions because no one was around anyways, at least for now. "By the way, did you want me to bring anything for tomorrow, or shouldn't I bother?" Delaana asked teasingly, considering that she knew Crystal more or less, as well as Lily would were both the type to say that they had everything under control and they had everything they needed, she wondered if Elika was the same so to speak.
"Either way, if later tonight, you do get bored, you can comm me if you wish, any time of the evening." Lana meant that for she wasn't the type to sleep that much anyways and she was probably just going to be curled up in her sofa by the fire with a book in her hands, it was either that or watching a holovid, she had not quite decided yet as when it really came to herself, she preferred to live on a day to day basis. Noticing that the airtaxi was arriving and even pulling over, Lana pouted and looked at Elika once more before pecking the architect's lips lingeringly this time until she pulled away knowing that she probably should for the driver was there and she did not quite want to have an audience. "I shall see you tomorrow, and maybe I will get to talk to you later on tonight." Releasing Elika from her hold, Lana stood up from the steps and walked over the airtaxi after giving one last look to Elika and a warm smile before finally getting into the taxi to head home after giving the address...

"I like the sound of that very much my Ceesi, Elikapeka tells Delaana softly after being told that they will have tomorrow, the next day, and others besides to spend together doing whatever they would like. Shaking her head when Delaana asks if there is anything she might bring for the party tomorrow, Elika smiles and reaches over to stroke her cheek gently as she tells her quietly, Just yourself," since she truly cannot think of anything that they will need for the party itself, Lily and Crystal usually well prepared for such events.
Smiling when Delaana suggests that they might talk later in the evening by comm, Elika warns her, "It could be pretty late, but I'll keep it in mind. It would be nice to hear Delaana's voice again later, but Elika knows that between how late she and the others might be up and her insomnia, it could be well into the early morning before she has a chance to comm Delaana. Pouting right along with Delaana when the airtaxi arrives to carry her away, Elika smiles after their kiss, standing and crossing her arms over her chest when Delaana begins to walk to the airtaxi. Lifting a hand to wave good-bye, Elika calls out, Good night, my Ceesi," and waits until the airtaxi has gone to turn and make her way back towards the gardens by the pool to rejoin the others.
Dropping back into her seat after picking up her wine glass, Elika curls her feet beneath her and, since she did not get the chance to tell him earlier, looks over to tell Andros with a smile, "I'm glad you'll be staying with us for a while. It'll be good for you," she adds with a smile, thinking that it really will be good for him to be among friends rather than alone after he's been so buried in his work as Vice Governor, and also after learning about what he has been wrongly accused of.

Fact was... Andros already knew about Delaana Wan more or less for having spent some time speaking with her, not that he would ever show it or say a thing about her. He knew Delaana, what made who she was and particularly who she really was. Andros kept an impassive expression though as he listened to Crystal list a few things for him about Lana. "No, it's fine you do not need to find out more about her on my account." Andros said straight to the point, after all what was happening between Elikapeka and Delaana that was between those two; but if Lana did mess up, he would go big brother either way. "Just let me know if and when Elika start being unhappy because of your PA."
Andros left it at that, he was pretty sure that Crystal would understand anyways and so would Lily, heck everyone here would understand, Andros was the kind of guy who was watching out for his own simple as that.
What Lily had told him before, that was moving, but Andros being Andros, he did not show any signs about that anyways, he was known to be abrasive, the scowling and blunt kind and he rarely showed any emotions, let alone being touched by words or gestures. The would know anyways, so he wasn't even bothering with that, therefore he only gave a certain nod and said nothing more.
At least until Elika had returned from walking Lana towards the airtaxi.
"I suppose it shall be, although from time to time I will have to go to my office." Andros said, and that wasn't because of work but because of the newest addition to his office, not that anyone here knew about that just yet considering that he had only received that ysalamir this very evening after tasking Horsea to acquire one for him back in Myrkr. "And no, it won't be because of work." He looked at everyone as for all he knew they were exactly thinking that.
"Someone, or should I say something has just been settled there permanently..."

I concur with what Baby Girl is saying about the Hapan Bombshell. I do not find it surprising though when she offers Boss Man to dig deeper since all of us know that he is very protective of Gorgeous, but so we all are. Insofar though, I really have had no bad feeling concerning the Hapan, unless she was a good actress, but nope, I do not see that at all, at least not right now ... Only time will tell I suppose, and and here is gorgeous coming back.
"And not just that, but there is also ... If there is something else to be glad about, it is clearly the progress between Elika and Lana, which is why I am currently looking at gorgeous with an affectionate smile. The fact that you have found someone as well, now all we need is to get to tomorrow so you can see her again."
Obviously I stop then and there, since I clearly do not need to add anything more, nor do I need to tease her for whatever happens now between Elika and Lana is between the two of them but Boss Man did ask previously to let him know about that thing, I don't see gorgeous being surprised about him being overprotective anyways if she was told about it now or tomorrow or whenever.
"Something?" Repeating dubiously what he has just said, I wonder what is that something he is talking about but indeed if he wanted to share he would have said it already but since that is not the case, he really doesn't need to answer. Taking a sip of my drink and remembering that baby girl had to make gorgeous aware of something, I glance at my childhood friend wondering if she is going to inform gorgeous now, or not ...

"Will do, but then again I highly doubt it that you would miss that fact about her..." Crystal said softly, if there was one constant thing about Umgul's Vice-Governor, he deeply cared about the people he truly cared about, and Elika was one of those people. Plus Crystal was sure that Andros mostly was in touch with his closest friend's emotions, so... How could he really miss that? But either way, she would still let him know if and when it was necessary but not before potentially telling Lana off about it.
Crystal did not foresee anything go wrong, but the future was something she had no knowledge of, therefore she was really going to just be looking from afar and treat Lana the same way she always did whenever the both of them were at work.
She soon noticed that Elika was coming back and she smiled warmly seeing the architect return. She might probably be sad by Lana leaving but they would be seeing one another tomorrow, so that wasn't a bad thing right? But considering that it looked to Crystal like her friend had really grown attached to Lana, she could empathize that feeling of having someone they had grown close to just leave for X amount of time. Crystal was used to that with Atlantis but it did not mean it made it all easier, she just accepted it and respected it.
Furrowing her eyebrows when Andros mentioned that something had been settled into his office permanently at least, she wondered what alterations he had made in his office. Sure there were moments when she would go up there to speak with him and he had plenty of space in his office, so really she was drawing a blank but she figured that if he wanted to share he would just say it.
Again, Crystal had a dubious expression when she noticed Lily's look and then it clicked in her mind, right that matter that she was supposed to tell Elika. Where was she even going to start with that. "Sweetie?" Crystal called out her friend's attention and nibbled her lower lip briefly, she did not know how to say this but she didn't want to beat around the bush. "Earlier at the precinct when we saw Atlantis, he told me a few things." Crystal put her glass down onto the table and frowned faintly. "He told me that no matter what, none of us should stay around for too long around Lyov and especially Helaine." Crystal raised her hand knowing that perhaps it did not make sense to her, heck it did not make sense to her either since Atlantis didn't get to explain fully and in a way she was at fault for that since she prevented him from doing so earlier.
"I know that it is difficult to comprehend and I also know that it seems, I don't know, but if there is one thing that I know about Atlantis, and that I am sure that you know also, is that he always has a reason for the things he says or does. He also said that it concerned me someway and somehow, I do not know the reasons just yet but he did promise to explain."

Sitting down next to Andros, but not too close as she knows that he is just as uncomfortable with having his personal space invaded as she often is, Elikapeka smiles at him with an eyebrow arched in curiosity as she echoes, "Someone or something? Well, that isn't mysterious and cryptic at all, is it?" Laughing with a shake of her head, all too familiar with how Andros, like Mace, Atlantis and others she considers her friends, can be maddeningly vague at times about things, Elika trusts that, if he felt she or her housemates needed to know what it was at his office that will require his attention from time to time, he would tell them.
Elika briefly considers looking confused when Lily mentions that she appears to have found someone, or possibly voicing some of the perfectly reasonable reservations she has tried to bear in mind where the possibility that she and Delaana may have found something rare and unique to be nurtured so it might grow are concerned, but in the end Elika's pure happiness with the way the day has gone and with how Delaana makes her feel that there is every chance that they have found something in one another that is worth exploring and cultivating proves stronger than the doubts and fears that Elika harbors within her in most social situations, and so she can only shrug her shoulders with a pleasantly smitten smile on her face that probably tells her friends all they need to know about how she feels at the moment.
Elika's expression becomes more than a little perplexed after Crystal explains the utterly incomprehensible warning that Atlantis had given her about Lyov and Helaine at the precinct earlier in the evening, a warning that makes little sense to Elika in and of itself, especially since neither she nor her housemates have ever spent or expressed a desire to spend time with the couple in question, having only crossed paths with them on one or two occasions. Looking concerned when Crystal goes on to explain that Atlantis had told her that the warning concerned her in some way, and that he had promised to explain things more fully at another time, Elika says a bit uncertainly, "Ok hon'," and pauses before shaking her head after thinking of more than a few questions she would like to ask only to realize that no one other than Atlantis is likely to be able to answer them. As Crystal had pointed out, Elika trusts that Atlantis has a reason for issuing the warning, no matter how little sense it seems to make at the moment, and so, as there really doesn't seem to be much else to be said on the subject, Elika leans forward to pick up her wine glass and sips it with a pensive expression, her earlier good mood dampened considerably by the strangeness of the warning and lack of any explanation.
Elika tries to think of a way to move on from the subject, some way to inject some levity back into the evening, but finds that she cannot think of anything to say, and lapses into a silence she finds herself unable to break.

Andros had that faint cynical smirk on the corner of his lips because he was quite aware that not only he was being vague, but if they did want to find out what that something was all about, then they could either ask really, which in fact the did or just come and visit him back in his office, which they actually could also without problem.
"Maybe you'll come to discover what that something is sooner or later." Andros said indifferently really not that it was a changing habit, but clearly he was just the way he was because he knew while being here, he did not really need to watch what he was saying or not saying anyways.
So really, it wasn't that bad, right?
But then that ball dropped, that proverbial ball about the two newest power couple in Umgul with no doubt having the right connection here and there. He knew that there wasn't any use at present time to debate on that fact. Although Andros did get a message earlier from Mace, and then he had that meeting with the Sector Ranger and his brother in his office a moment ago. Andros leaned back considering that he did get some details from Atlantis earlier, that got him to lock his jaw for during that whole event, Andros wasn't present at all since he had gone after her when she nearly pulled a runner.
"Atlantis believes that while you had been in conflict with the Echani woman because of..." Andros started to say and looked up straight at Ryan before glancing back at Crystal. "Emotions have been tampered with at those moment, someone in particular was seeing complete different outcomes, and whether it was because of that Echani, or that because you were on a very short fuse, Crystal, everything is correlating and diverging, that is up to your own interpretation." Andros knew that there always was a point when a person snapped, no need to argue about that, because it did happen whether a person liked it or not.
But that evening was just so wrong on multiple accounts, Andros wanted to go forward and just completely forget about that matter, although sooner or later, he would have to pay the price by putting that off. "In any case, it doesn't matter, as long as you do not stay for too long around them when they cross your path."

Boss man the mysterious kind and toying with our curiosity ... "You do realize now that we will definitely have to come and see you in your office. Rhetorical statement, he has probably been banking on that anyways, but still he really doesn't give much on that matter. But then I decide on the spot that we should probably do something about it and find out which is the reason why I look at baby girl and gorgeous. Ladies, we should invade his office first thing when he is there also."
Gorgeous seems really smitten, and clearly that shows but I say nothing further considering that it should be a matter between her and the Hapan Bombshell exclusively anyways. That's all I have to say on the matter and I will respect it, even if it surprises most people here. Figures ... And clearly now the mood is about to drop because baby girl is informing gorgeous about lover boy's warning, which of course some of us partially understands, I never liked those type of couples, I have my reasons, reasons that baby girl knows, but whatever.
But boss man is partially fielding something there, which causes me to look at his pensively wondering what that has been all about. Right that evening ... Clearly it isn't something I can forget since it's the same evening that Kayne has asked me to come up with that injunction due to the fact that she has been offered a few bottles from the couple. That chick has been there, right apparently she has been playing around with both the father and the son, something that I have never said to Ryan at all because I prefer to stay out of their dealings, but really, it wasn't as if Crystal wasn't ready to ... Lover boy has been there, that's right and I remember him freezing on the spot.
"Wait, I put my finger up for a moment to process all of this before looking at baby girl dubiously. That has been the same evening and exactly the same moment everyone has found out that Crystal is attuned to the Force, are you saying that whomever prevented that conflict to begin with was aware of that outcome?" I remember that it has been Mace and Ayla who have stopped that conflict to begin with and then I had been told to take Crystal home after Atlantis did that trick of his.
"It's complicated, I get it and I suppose that we will only know whenever whomever feels like sharing, so ... Probably best to shelve that subject right now and focus onto something else, even if my mind is currently doing a paso doble with all of those thoughts of mine, but either way, better move on and just not poke that subject further. Gorgeous, by the way, forgot to tell you earlier, great cooking, you will have to teach me some time because apparently, well you heard it before, I cannot do anything concerning her unless I do cook, give me ideas for some dishes please."

Crystal furrowed her eyebrows at Andros' explanation, there were some things she did not quite get, and some matter that she did of course. Leaning back against her seat, she crossed her arms in thought and tried to think or remember that evening correctly. Sure Alluria's sudden arrival to come and talk to Ryan hit a nerve especially when that previous day she had told that Echani woman to stay the hell away from Ryan and their dad, but really, when did her emotions got influenced really? When she felt like she had wanted to break Alluria's fingers because she had placed her hand onto Atlantis' shoulder, or for the fact that she had been insulted freely for having the apparent perfect life?
Crystal still remembered the words they had exchanged, that was a hard to forget after all, as words had it that often times people forgot the best memories relatively easily but the bad ones would stay for maybe an indefinite amount of time. Crystal closed her eyes momentarily to think back on who exactly she was surrounded by at that precise moment. Atlantis was standing right in the middle, she remembered him appeased him someway and somehow and for some unfathomable reason the near animosity nearly hit off again with her tapping into something she had no knowledge of to begin with but before she could even complete her action, Ayla Vos stopped her...
The only moment she had opened her eyes it was when Lily had asked if the person who stopped her, in that case, it was really the cousins, knew of the outcome... It dawned on Crystal more or less about what her father had told her the following days. She was starting to understand more or less now, his warnings too, him evading her brothers more or less but still watching them or trying to watch over all of them from afar. The revelation from Andros though did not really answer her question and in her opinion the Jedi here might have been gambling in the dark. "Andros, I do hear what you are saying, but there is still the fact that..." Crystal closed her mouth and just swallowed her words right that instant because she really did not know how to really put her own thoughts right now.
She sighed in defeat and knew that it was no use right now to stir up a problem, at least until she spoke with Atlantis and her dad, because those things she had just found out about someone knowing the outcome, that was troubling her too much. Crystal needed to focus on one thing and one thing only right now, thankfully that had been easy for her especially since she was taught on how to meditate and on how to just focused onto one thing and one thing only. Easy enough, but that was a matter she would keep for herself right now but she was also grateful that Lily had diverted the attention on that matter and just looked at her childhood friend gratefully but she also did look at Elika with a faint apologetic smile to tell her that she was sorry for downing her mood.
"Go with simple and uncomplicated things, I do not want to have the prospect of having to redo our entire kitchen since we already have to find a new fridge." Crystal looked upwards momentarily and shook her head with an amused grin. "Also do buy a reminder or something because I am certain that with Ryan around you might forget that you are currently cooking something."

While she is intelligent enough to connect the dots after Andros, in his own unique way, explains, or maybe does his best to try and explain, the reasoning behind the odd warning about Lyov and Helaine, Elikapeka doesn't see that the picture created by the connected dots is one that actually does make the warning make any more sense; she gets that Andros, or Atlantis, or Mace, or maybe all of them have concluded that Helaine or Lyov had tampered with Crystal's emotions, but despite her trust in their judgement, cannot help but feel that they are, in this instance, trying to force the dots into a pattern that fits their conclusions rather than basing conclusions on what can actually be seen, or in this case concluded. Her recollections of the event in question don't contain anything that suggests to her that Crystal's behavior was out of character; Elika can recall that the day had been stressful, and the Echani woman had gotten under Crystal's skin before, so their interrupted altercation came as little surprise to her. The fact that 'someone' - why Andros feels the need to be so damnably vague at times is beyond her - felt that different possible outcomes were in flux is, really, not at all surprising given that the future is always in a state of flux; any moment has a multitude of possible futures branching off of it, some hinging on no more than the tone of a phrase spoken to another. It seems strange to her that such a simple truth might escape Andros, or whomever had made the leap in logic and convinced the others it was justified, and Elika supposes that it is entirely possible, especially considering who all is involved, there are things she, Crystal, and Lily aren't being told that might make the pattern of the dots as clear and undeniably damming as Andros, or Atlantis if Andros is simply relaying his twin's conclusions, wants them to be. Rather than voicing any of her thoughts, Elika resolves to wait until Atlantis, assuming that he follows through on his promise to Crystal to explain things in more depth in such a way that actually does make the warning any more clear, returns and says whatever it is he plans to say.
Smiling gratefully when Lily, with her usual ability to elevate the general mood by either changing the subject as she does now or making a comment that breaks the tension, compliments her cooking and says she needs some instruction to see that Crystal's conditions set out earlier are met, Elika nods and says, "Sure beautiful, then crinkles her nose and warns her, Don't expect anything too imaginative or creative though. Think pretty basic, it can be made with very little cooking ability type dishes, Elika jokes. Laughing when Crystal suggests that Elika stick to simple and uncomplicated things, Elika says, That won't be an issue hon', don't worry."

In all of those things Andros had said, he knew that more or less there were elements that were befuddling everyone, him being the first. But as he thought back, really something was definitely unsettling for him. But that was a situation that he had relatively fixed quickly and he still did not understand why he had been chosen specifically, it was either his demeanor which yes that made him look perpetually pissed off to the fact that he was also the angry kind of person.
He remembered being angry that fateful evening because something had been brought up to his attention by that Assistant Engineer, Penny Parker, and unless the person was attuned to the Force or clearly very aware of his emotions then and there, they would have probably either stopped him or just fled the scene, but no, none of those happened for both cases.
Andros had been locked in his thoughts currently and despite Crystal addressing him right then and there, he did not go further at all for the sake of not wanting to dampen the mood further at all. Maybe he should check it out for himself one of those evenings, maybe if he did secure an invitation from that couple, but considering the press release, he was certain that he wouldn't even get invited to their stunts of passing up to be the perfect couple. Well then, there went an idea down the drain, maybe he should think of another devious plan, and some were starting to form right that instant but he kept those to himself for now.
Well apparently Lily definitely had that perfect icebreaker and he supposed that he should probably jump onto that bandwagon, which was why he looked at Crystal with a cynical expression and asked straight to the point. "Lily wanting to do that as soon as possible, does that mean that I may be wearing a tux soon or even be called soon enough the pissed off uncle who keeps glaring for unfathomable reasons?" He asked bluntly, the prospect of even being an uncle, that was intimidating for him but either way fact was he would be happy for his brother and Crystal if those things happened, whenever...

Since currently I have no intentions on lingering on that subject about Lyov and Helaine, I find myself grateful that we are moving forward in the conversation. To be hearing Boss Man say those things comfort me, as I am well aware that the mood has plummeted and that all of us are currently left with a big exclamation mark above our heads, or at least, Gorgeous, Baby Girl and I. In the need and want to move forward, I look at baby girl while making a face when she implies that I may get the kitchen burning literally. At least I believe that she is implying that, or that perhaps I may get some dishes blown up or something ...
"Sheesh ... a little faith from you wouldn't hurt baby girl, Poking my tongue out to her before giggling at the instructions she gives to gorgeous, I think about it and just wonder what simple things I can do. Sunny side up eggs, Yeah, that I can do, fried bacon too. Oh gosh, I am so not going to be doing dinner exclusively, maybe some breakfast also!" Those things are simple and I do not recall baby girl really telling me that I should cook dinner or something, I could do breakfast too ... But right, compared to CKayne, or even Gorgeous, I wake up later than the both of them.
"Thanks for the tips, gorgeous. Raising my glass as if to toast, I notice that it is empty so I pour some of the wine and notice that the bottle is nearing empty, so grabbing Baby Girl's hand with her glass in it, I empty the content of the bottle into her wine glass before smiling widely. Well look at that, you have emptied two bottles this very evening ..." Stifling a laughter and looking at both Gorgeous and Boss Man, I incline my head knowing at the VG.
"Well you know what they say about the person finishing the bottle of wine ... Pursing my lips and looking at baby girl innocently I cannot help but to giggle at that since I am sure that I am going to be in trouble right about now. A possibility perhaps by the end of the year." Taking a sip of my wine this time, I still have that mischievous expression onto my features as I look back at Crystal playfully.

Crystal knew for a fact that Lily could cook from time to time if it was a case of force majeure, it was just that Lily refused to cook because she found that to be a taxing activity. Understandable but not out of her reach, and besides Crystal was enjoying the fact that she was currently teasingly her childhood friend when often times it was the other way around. "Well sweetie, for both of our sake, I hope that it'll be edible enough." Now she really was joking and pulling Lily's leg, that made her look at her childhood friend with a mischievous expression before laughing softly about having faith on her cooking skills, or... lack of. "Faith will happen when I see you cooking happening, baby girl." Crystal took a sip of her wine before leaning back comfortably on her seat.
"As long as cooking is involved for the breakfast side, then that is perfectly fine by me..." Crystal reassured Lily genuinely, she did not want to go on a debate about which meal Lily should cook or not because in the end, Crystal knew that she might very well lose that said debate and there was no wait she wanted to go through that back and forth again for she already knew the outcome.
Crystal looked at Andros right then and there, seeing him serious, it definitely sounded to her despite his seriousness that he had decided to jump into that recurrent joke, was he even aware of that to begin with? Crystal had no idea whatsoever but the fact that he was indeed taking part in that joke at her own expense, which she did not care at all really, that really made her smile at him warmly. Before she could address him though, she felt her hand behind pulled to her side and she looked at Lily noticing that she had emptied the bottle of wine in Crystal's glass.
"Jankovic, you are so impossible, you did that on purpose!" Crystal laughed before putting the glass of wine onto the table and shook her head. "No way, I am not going to drink that." Rolling her eyes playfully knowing that she could pass up the wine if and when necessary but she wondered if Lily could actually, leaving a glass there filled with wine, it was a sacrilege for her. "No, Andros although seeing you in a tux must be a sight to see, but that aside," Crystal shook her head but she soon smiled. "No, and besides he and I never talked about it, and considering what he does, we just enjoy the moments we can have together, but again, no tux needed and no preparation for that needed, because I really am not in a rush, I promise." She really wasn't at all because for one, she was fine the way she was right now and two she preferred to have all of her unsettled issues to be settled.
"Anyways, you all looking forward to tomorrow?" Stupid question, that much she knew but when she looked at Elika, Crystal smiled warmly. "Sweetie, tell me really what do you think about her so far?" Crystal of course meant Delaana and yes she might have been curious but if Elika preferred to keep that for herself right now or not even talk about it, she respected that. As long as she could remember though, from what happened with Tehia, and then Hyun Ae, though she had not heard that great of a deal between them two but just a coffee, now she guessed that she wanted to know, if that made sense and if Elika thought that perhaps she could see the both of them together in a long run, but of course that was probably too early to tell...

Sipping her wine as she listens to the bantering between Lily and Crystal, Elikapeka feels the vague sense of unease the earlier conversation had instilled in her fade, grateful that no one seems inclined to pursue the matter further for the time being; the day, while one that has, for her at least, been one of unexpected and unsought for happiness and the opening of possibilities she thought might be forever denied her, has had enough tension and stress due to what Andros and Atlantis have found themselves faced with, and some levity is quite welcome where Elika is concerned, just as she suspects that Andros appreciates it as well.
Nodding with a smile when Crystal asks them all if they are looking forward to tomorrow's gathering, Elika laughs a bit nervously when her friend then puts her on the spot a bit by asking what she thinks about Delaana so far. Shrugging while tugging a bit absently on her right sleeve, Elika finds herself smiling all the same as, comfortable enough with her friends that she doesn't truly mind trying to answer the question she's been asked, she says, "Well hon', I can see what you meant earlier when you said that she has a knack for reading other people, and for knowing what they wan . . . what they are thinking? Lips pursed as she tries to think of a better way to phrase what she means; of explaining how, even though she now feels that she may have allowed things to move a bit more quickly than might be wise, Delaana never made her feel uncomfortable, or as though she was pushing Elika in any way, of how she made Elika feel comfortable around her with an ease and effortlessness that is rare and almost addictively heady in its allure. She's easy to feel at ease around, Elika finally settles on smiling as she adds, And she's witty, and makes me laugh too. Her smitten expression probably making all the things she feels evident despite the fact that she lacks the eloquence to verbalize them, Elika says with the faintest trace of a blush rising in her cheeks as she comes as close as she is presently comfortable to admitting just how taken she is with Delaana, She makes me want to get to know her better, you know? Shrugging and sipping her wine, Elika arches an eyebrow as she looks from Lily to Crystal and jokes, Now, if either of you are planning on sharing any of that with her, I trust that you'll also be filling me in on whatever she shares with you about me, right?"

I obviously do not want to linger on my culinary prowess or lack thereof ... I really find it taxing to spend a huge amount of time behind the stove, really, not my ideal setting. I am just thankful that not even Baby Girl knows how to cook but so does Hot Stuff; the siblings can take care of that side, right? But ... Since I am quite certain that Baby Girl does mean her threats, I have no further excuse at all, and I have already accepted the challenge, can't go back on that, nah uh ... But now much to my dismay, I hear baby girl saying that she isn't even going to drink that wine of hers, and I look at her with a shocked expression completed with putting a hand onto my heart.
"You wound me baby girl, here I was thinking, I should probably share the wine, Looking at the bottle with a pout and sniffling for show, really. because it was coming to the end of the bottle and you know what they say, sharing is caring, I clearly had your best interest at heart, here. Technically yes, I did. How can that be deniable when I am just seeking her happily ever after perfect ending to a great love story. That was a lil' bit overdramatic, okay let's move on. That realization makes me giggle and my giggle turns into a full out laughter before I wave my hand in front of me to calm down. Just drink it Kayne, end of the bottle or not, the both of us have drunk our fair share of wine and no one ever managed to put a ring on our finger yet."
Fact. How many times we have finished a bottle of wine together or with friends from back home? Besides when people think about it, I do not foresee a wedding or a baby happening immediately, Why does she have to take me so literally? It's a no brainer response I am guessing but whatever, right now I am more interested in what Gorgeous is saying about the Hapan Bombshell, and she actually makes me smile on the spot. Usually I would be inclined to comment and even tease her about the blush that is creeping up to her cheeks, but considering that perhaps it would make a more difficult situation to broach in the future, I do not want that to happen, because I am truly interested in what Gorgeous is saying, and I do love it when she is sharing her feelings or anything about her.
"She is observant, I suppose and that she manages to know what a person feels by just one look at them or whenever they are speaking with her? It is a suggestion, but I also have noticed that the Hapan Bombshell has always known what to potentially say or just do whenever it is appropriate, so that is not surprising to me really. You will have all of tomorrow to spend with her, I am sure and also whatever you may tell me about her, no sorry I won't be sharing with her at all, Laughing at that as I lift my right hand because I am still a lawyer anyways. I protect my client's confidentiality. More seriously though, I smile at Gorgeous and wink at her. That is between the two of you and knowing like that from a third party, it's so not fun." That is my opinion, perhaps it's different for the others, and I am it actually is, but I prefer to leave it all to Gorgeous to get to know the Hapan Bombshell better because it's better that way?

Andros was leaning against his seat there and clearly he was looking briefly at Elika when she described how Delaana made her feel, to think that they had only officially spent this one day together and Elika seemed to be comfortable around the Hapan. It was the impression she was giving, after he couldn't really tell so to speak since he no longer tried to read people's emotions as he really had been disconnected from the Force for a while now, but judging from her facial expression, Elikapeka seemed happy, which was a good thing, Andros guessed. "If you two do get to know one another better, I better constantly see a smile on your face Elikapeka, or I am going to go big brother." It was a serious statement, after all, for all of his wrongdoings in the past and even in the future maybe, well he knew that he wasn't that innocent anyways.
He had never been innocent. He protected his own. Simple as that.
But what Elika seemed to be implying currently, he was no stranger to that, but unlike him, she could pursue that currently, him? Not so much, and not at all especially when it had been a while since he last heard from the person. Perhaps he was no longer made for any types of romantic relationship, but then again, that wasn't something he had shared with anyone anyways. What happened back in then, he kept that for himself and even against the mind readers, for his long months of training he had taught himself to try and shield his thoughts, more or less successfully from people who had that innate ability.
"Like I have said previously, Elika, you two will just need to keep on talking with one another to know where you both stand?" There was a faint smile on the corner of his lips, despite his earlier threat about going big brother, but that was currently out of the question and he was just taking comfort in the fact that it looked like to him, things were well under way definitely. "Tomorrow just spend it together, no one will hold that against you at all if you are with her." That was the truth, really he did not see Ljiljana nor Crystal telling them off for that, but Andros did look at his cousin, Franz this case that was if he was around, "But I won't be so lenient with you, Delgrave." Andros said cynically to his cousin, after all, as long as Lieutenant Lyn was offworld, Franz still had to keep both eyes onto Elika, and apparently his cousin also had a date tomorrow who was coming here apparently.
"Should I be worried about any reactions from her?" It was a rhetorical statement, that went without saying anyways since Andros, after all, did not give a damn about what people thought of him, especially not strangers that he did not know and didn't care about.

Crystal looked upwards somewhat exasperatedly but also playfully, she had to give it to Lily, her childhood friend did have a point. Still though it did not change the fact that before Crystal wasn't considering of marrying someone at all not up till now, but she supposed that with everything happening, that really wasn't going to happen. Relenting, Crystal finally picked up the wine and looked at Lily. "Fine, but no further comments from you." She figured it wouldn't hurt to warn Lily, but despite the warning, Crystal figured out that it wouldn't really work anyways, but still she kept the glass in her hand and listened to Elika with undivided attention.
She had that noticeable smile on her lips and nodded when Elika said that Crystal truly wasn't kidding earlier about Lana's ability in knowing what a person wanted. Pointing at Lily to concur with that statement, Crystal added to that. "She is a people's person," Either way, one thing she had learned about Delaana Wan, she often was reserved when it came to herself but knew how to keep a conversation flowing while making sure that the person she was speaking with was comfortable. "Witty and makes you laugh huh?" Sure, Crystal might have had a faint teasing tone there but she understood the characteristics of those. "That is definitely a plus, and like I have said earlier, she gets along with the relentless one, so it shouldn't be that surprising, right?"
Crystal was definitely happy for her friend, about Elika wanting to get to know Delaana better and see if the two of them could work out in the long run, that was definitely worth pursuing in her honest opinion but for that, Crystal wouldn't even interfere nor would she go tell this or that to one person or another. "The question here sweetie, did you want me to tell her so I can relay something back to you, or like Lily has said, it would be better if you work that out between the two of you, right?" Winking playfully at her friend, Crystal finally took a sip of her wine and placed her glass back down onto the table as she looked at Andros.
"He means that," Considering what he had asked earlier when Elika was waiting with Lana for the airtaxi, it really was crystal clear that he did anyways and she was certain that he had already told that fact to Elika anyways. Still there was that pending question that was taunting her mind and that had been going on for a while now. Letting Andros finishing with his set of questions, Crystal looked at him with a faint smile. "If you don't mind me asking Andros, and I am sure that most if not all of us are wondering about this," Crystal had been quite aware at least a few months back when she was still around that whenever he was next to her, he seemed appeased and very collected. "Are you and Lara..." Crystal stayed her tongue right then and there, that was indeed open for interpretation and she did not want to force him to answer, but a while ago whenever she was at the academy and he was there with her, Crystal distinctly felt that he seemed appeased, constantly.

Arching an eyebrow when Andros suggests that should Elikapeka ever not have a smile on her face he will be going big brother, Elika, while aware of what he's saying ultimately, teasingly points out anyway, "Now, that isn't exactly fair is it? You can't hold her accountable for any shifting in my mood, Andros. What if I have a bad day at work? Laughing and waving a hand, she crinkles her nose and says, I know what you mean, and I appreciate it, but do try and remember that Delaana won't ever be the sole influence on my moods, and that I might be just as to blame should our relationship, whatever it might turn out to be, ever be the source of any discontent. Trusting that she's made her point, Elika nods with an appreciative smile after Andros has made a few of his own; his advice about letting things unfold until trying to divine where she and Delaana stand or might want to stand is good, and something she's already decided to try and bear in mind as much as possible given her natural inclination to over-analyze things, and towards anxiety, and his saying that no one will hold it against her if she winds up spending most of her time with Delaana is appreciated as well since it will ideally prevent any unnecessary guilt should she do just that. What Andros says to Franz reminds Elika about some of her earlier thoughts where the need for her to have bodyguard at all times is concerned, and Elika takes a sip of her wine while holding up a finger since she wants to ask someone who might have some influence where that situation is concerned some questions before she forgets to ask them. Clearing her throat, her expression and tone both indicative of the fact that she is not joking at the moment, Elika says to Andros, There's something I've been wanting to ask about, but I'm not sure if it would be you, or Atlantis that I need to talk to. See, I think . . . no, Elika says, not wanting to sound at all indecisive as she has given the matter enough thought to know that she is decided on the matter, actually I know that I want to revisit the need for me to have a security detail at all times. Holding up a hand before Andros can interrupt, Elika clarifies that, I know it might not be your call, but hear me out. I know that there was one incident, offworld I think it bears mentioning, where I'm grateful that my lieutenant was there with me, but nothing has ever happened here on Umgul, and I really don't see anything happening either. Looking towards Franz, Elika assures him, I want you to know that this has absolutely nothing to do with you either, and I love having you here with us. I just don't think you need to be watching over me all the time. Returning her attention to Andros, Elika asks, So, who do I need to talk to in order to have the need for a body guard rescinded? At least when I'm here on Umgul anyway," Elika adds, in case that might influence any decision. While she's willing to go more in depth where her reasoning for her decision is concerned, Elika keeps her thoughts to herself for the moment since Andros may only be able to direct her to who she actually needs to speak with.
Glad for the momentary shift in conversation, as she is afraid that getting what she wants where her bodyguard situation is concerned might be more stressful than she'd like as she knows that the motivations behind the original decision come from the right place even though they had all, her included, not thought about the possible impact the decision might have where her sense of privacy is concerned, when Crystal speaks up, Elika smiles and shakes her head when her friend asks if Elika would like Delaana to learn about what she said so that Elika might learn of anything she might say in return, "No hon', I was really just kidding. Sitting up straighter, using her best I'm an adult now tone, Elika says, I'm a big girl now, and I believe I should be able to manage things on my own from here, and then looks over at Lily with a wink as she jokes, But I do appreciate the push earlier today beautiful."
Elika manages to keep from wincing or looking surprised when Crystal asks Andros about whether he and Lara are, or had been, in a relationship; not only does the idea that the two of them might have been or perhaps still are in a relationship come as a surprise to Elika, but she also worries that Andros might not welcome the question given that, had he wanted anyone to know about the relationship, assuming there was one, he'd probably have said something before now, and not having said anything, probably prefers the matter be kept private, assuming that there is a matter in the first place.

Andros conceded, albeit grudgingly from his demeanor, but he understood all the same what Elikapeka meant. He just continued to look at her with narrowed eyes before smiling slightly in the end. "So it may be so, but still that won't stop me going big brother and whether she is the one at fault or not, I will still go big brother," He had a slight air of indifference to be perfectly honest, but then again there was no way he would influence that relationship or not in the end since he considered the fact that he already had something to do with that someway somehow... All in all, he knew that his statement could be taken jokingly or not as he wasn't really the kind of guy to potentially show if he was joking or not since his voice remained the same anyways. Nonetheless, he considered that matter settled for the time being and he just inclined his head towards the end to let Elika know that he got it loud and clear.
From her appreciative smile, to which Andros inclined his head again to that other point she wanted to discuss with him about, Andros zeroed in his attention onto her. He remained motionless really and he was pouring his gaze straight at her when she started to speak about her security detail. He understood perfectly what she meant and not once he tried to interrupt her at all, not once did he show any overt signs that he was going to cut her short because he figured that she would know him enough to know that if she did end her statement there, he would ask her the reasons why, etc, but he could see from her tone and mannerisms perhaps that she wasn't done at all. He understood the reasons why she wanted the whole security detail to be cut out while she was planetside, but with everything occurring around him, around his brother, and her being close friend to both the CFO and AG of this planet, he did not see that happening at all, actually he wasn't at all inclined to waive that fact currently, even though he did not have a say on that per se.
"You need to speak with Raan about that," Andros finally told her straight to the point and since more or less while the Senator wasn't around Andros had been the one calling the shots more or less, this time it was him that raised his hand and looked at Elikapeka, Ljiljana and Crystal, he knew that the latter was protected to, whether she knew it or not, that did not matter, but if people tried to counter that neither Crystal nor Lily had any protective detail, he would tell them straight up that they were wrong. "But with everything currently happening around, I know that he will refuse, and so will I will, but I have a deal for you." Andros told Elika for the time being, he had several conditions of course but again in the end he could try and influence that based on other things. "If you tell me that you have learned to pilot and can do that on your own and also if Crystal deems fit that you have acquired some martial art skills, I will see what I can do to rescind your protective details while being planetside." Those were his conditions, as simple as that sounded perhaps, perhaps not, but it was the best he could do and it was the only way that he could potentially waive that, among with another thing... But no one needed to know that anyways.
Andros looked up momentarily and took a deep breath before he gritted his teeth slightly, with the ongoing things happening, he wasn't really looking forward to really broach that perspective but at the same time he did understand Elika's need for privacy, but then he supposed that his condition would take enough time to complete anyways and as far as the martial art or boxing came, he did not see Elika outsourcing a teacher since, well... just no. Crystal was the most obvious choice, there could have been another obvious choice but no one needed to know about that anyways and he wasn't inclined for them to know about it. But glad that for the time being the conversation shifted, in his direction, not really something he was looking forward to, he just looked at Crystal and blinked once, it was true that no one ever had the guts to ask him before, and perhaps that had been clear as day before anyways, at least whenever Crystal had potentially been at the Academy too when she was training, when he and Lara were training.
"Let's just say that, Lara Drake and I are on the whole it's complicated phase..." Andros finally said and as surprising as that sounded to people that weren't aware of it, or that just because he wasn't talking about it, it did not mean he had nothing to say. "There are several things about her that I will never come to comprehend, and I am not in rush at all, but if you are really asking if we are together, I cannot answer that, but if you are asking me if something happened between the both of us," Andros only shrugged briefly and just gestured to Crystal to refer to his first comment. Usually he wasn't really inclined to talk about his relationship or whatever, but he was here with friends, and clearly he was relaxed, thanks to the millaflowers also and the lack of electric shocks currently.

No further comments from me, that is actually fine by me to be perfectly honest; besides I feel like perhaps Lover Boy should be here so I can see a little reaction from him. But despite the fact that I am currently pulling baby girl's leg about tying the knot with the man, I am not about to push him or her to do something against their will really and indeed with everything that is currently happening here, the timing might be wrong but at the same time perhaps a big splat and news about that might get the focus away from Boss Man considering that he would potentially be put on the spot as being the best man. But as things go, where I actually have no say in those, I just keep that so called fantasy running through my mind because in the end, I actually think that it would be nice to have something good and pure to happen here ...
"He is right, Pointing briefly at Boss Man when he says that no one would hold it against Gorgeous if she spends the whole day with the Hapan Bombshell, I really do not see the problem, although there might be a little problem. But I am already warning you, Gorgeous, I may tease you both from time to time." Winking playfully at gorgeous, although to be perfectly honest, I have not taken my decision just yet for tomorrow, and like baby girl would say, carpe diem, so I am definitely going to apply that tomorrow. But all the traces of humor fade from my expression when boss man warns pookie that he won't be so lenient with him tomorrow ... But there will be enough Force sensitives tomorrow, and this place is guarded from what I know ... I am sure that Pookie can defend himself or maybe because he is that respectful, he will not say a thing, bu really.
"Andros? I know that I may get a glare from him and perhaps he will be pissed off because I am standing up against him, but whatever. I understand the whats and whys, but tomorrow won't there be enough Jedi or even people attuned to the Force to know if and when there is an incoming threat from miles away?" Doesn't it make sense? I do not know how the Force works or whatever and since I am not attuned to the Force, I will never understand, but really perhaps boss man should cut pookie some slack. Although the next thing gorgeous brings up doesn't really surprise me ...
I actually still remember that surprise I had the first day I have met her here when she announced that she had a bodyguard, very much to my incomprehension and when that thing had happened on Rori, I had been grateful that Lucy was around but gorgeous does have a point right now, and so does Andros when he replies to her ... Now he is giving conditions, that doesn't surprise me at all. The Senator is the go to guy to speak with about that matter, but Andros is currently the one in charge, isn't he? Right ... Maybe due to the fact that it is Raan who has appointed that protective detail to begin with, Andros isn't about to rescind the Senator's doings left and right.
Well between Andros' conditions and the things that are happening around, I am not going to hold my breath for gorgeous, at least not currently. Thankfully though that matter is temporarily put aside and I find myself smiling when gorgeous thanks me for that earlier push. "Don't mention it, gorgeous, I tell her genuinely with a wink, after all I did tell her earlier that if and when it was necessary, I may do the pushing on her behalf. I am just glad that you have gone with it, more or less also."
At the spa, I wasn't that subtle but it was the little things really that had caught my attention and thus here we are now, gorgeous wanting to get to know the Hapan bombshell better, so that is all great for me. Speaking of getting to know someone better, I actually cannot believe that baby girl actually has had the gut to ask boss man about his sentimental life, although that is a surprise to me upon finding out that question. Was Lara the her, Franz has asked about earlier? And judging from Boss man's reply, something about Coruscant's nobility too, is she a part of that also?
I suppose that there is one way to find that out, "It's the fact that she is away that it's still on the complicated phase?" It's more of a rhetorical statement than a question really and knowing that Boss man actually prefers the uncomplicated to the complicated, I do not see him allow something like that to linger for a long while, and yes I am gambling in the dark right now, as I have had no idea that he and this Lara Drake are in a complicated relationship to begin with ...
