He wasn't hungry- in fact his stomach gave an unpleasant lurch just at the thought of food- but after Adi's earlier outburst Miras thought it a good idea not to do anything to agitate him further. Besides, it gave him an excuse to get away, and he'd been craving solitude ever since he came out of hyperspace. Honestly he hoped to spend his time here either training or alone. Only time would tell how well that would work for him, but he had a sneaking suspicion that Adi was going to be on him constantly. Ah well. It wasn't like he hadn't dealt with overbearing instructors before, and this one might actually be able to teach him something worthwhile.
"You got it." He said in reply.
Reaching out, he took the proffered flask and drank deeply. Tears welled in his eyes and he coughed once before blinking them away and handing the liquor back to the Jedi. A surge of pleasant warmth flowed through him and he felt some of the tension fleeing his slight frame. Flicking his fingers at the group in a casual salute, the Padawan turned on his heel and headed out, reflecting that he'd skip breakfast and head straight for Adi's ship. He wanted to get out of these garments as soon as possible and into something a bit less...caustic.
He reached the entrance and disappeared inside.

Spreading my wings i glided along until a thought came to mind. I went into jet mode and soared vertical as fast as i could, Just 'cus i wanted to see how high i could fly. I cleared the highest point of nearby mountain peaks when a weird red tint came to my vision. First time i had encountered it… but my engines were no longer functional and i was in a free fall. turning head down, i tried as hard as i could to restart anything, but within the time that Uncle looked like an ant, I thought to switch to my auxiliary battery and i gained enough power to spread my wings and stem my rapid descent.
<<That's a first>>
Gliding back towards Uncle's shoulder i nuzzled into his neck… the lower power level i was at had me feeling somewhat sleepy
<<Uncle… can you take me to daddy? i think i need a change off… zzz>>
as digital sensor faded to darkness, I closed my mind and rested for a time.

Adi chuckled at Miras' reaction to the contents of the flask. He then took the offered flask, and pulled a short tug from it. Handing it back to Mike, Adi smiled.
"Mike, just the man I wanted to see. Miras and I are going to Corellia. Seeing as it's been a long while since I've been there, and you are far more familiar with who to speak with, I was hoping you would be willing to go along and help us get the warning out about the Mandalorians. I am quite sure that Corellia won't be too far behind Yavin, if the bucketheads aren't already there. If they are? Well, let's just say I refuse to allow another Yavin IV. We will help them, and we will make sure that they are safe."
Miras gave his halfhearted salute, and sauntered off. The kid was strong willed, to be sure...but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. That strong will was the backbone of Adi's -own- strength...he just had to teach the young man how to focus that will, and harness it properly. It would take some time, to be sure....but it would be well worth it. Puck landed on Adi's shoulder after a bit of aerobatics training, and fell asleep before Adi could even answer. Matango was heading out to see Diamonte anyway, so it wouldn't be any trouble to take Puck along.
"My student and I are leaving in about an hour. I need to stop by and see your comrade in J-TECH before I grab a quick run through the refreshers, so if you want to grab a bag and meet us in the hangar then, we can head out....If you want to go along, that is."

I located Adi's Force aura in what appeared to be a ruinous courtyard once upon a time. I'd never seen this place before, probably because it hadn't even been cleared out before, that, and I was busy with other things. I was still busy. But not busy enough. I had not been able to shake the growing feeling that something was wrong, miles and miles away from where I was. Yet, I had made it wrong. Destroying the MMP was an action that I had thought I was coldly detached from. But, on the return trip I had spent more time than I'd ever care to admit thinking that perhaps I had made the wrong choice. It wouldn't be the first time. And it probably wouldn't be the last.
Jade entered the courtyard, automatically heading over towards Matango, surrounded by an aura that was tinged with darkness. She snapped a military half-bow before speaking, "It is done," in a clipped accent before turning in place to walk away.
As I made to leave, I suddenly knew that somewhere out there, someone was angry. Very angry. The predator is familiar with the hunt, familiar enough to recognize the moment that it becomes prey. I looked back over my shoulder at Adieumus, "I'm leaving for Corellia." It was spoken quietly, but it was a declarative statement. I did not ask permission. I had done what I had come to do. And I was needed elsewhere. Terra was probably wondering what had happened to me by now, particularly if Serrin had not returned yet, and I was sure she had not.

So the MMP was history...the plan had worked. All seemed to be going well.
So why did Jade seem like she was brooding over something?
She mentioned that she was going to Corellia, which was a good thing as Adi was going there as well with Miras and possibly Mike to warn them of the Mandalorian aggression. Perhaps Jade would be willing to help with that as well. It had been a very long time since Matango had been there, and guides were a good thing in a place where time was of the essence....especially a guide that had connections in the higher echelon of command.
"Corellia, eh? Looks like our paths come together yet again, Jade. I am headed there myself....leaving in an hour. I have but to stop by and talk to Diamonte before I go.
May we tag along behind you?"
As she made to leave, Adi did as well, following her. It was time to move along.

Jade's "of course" was more an acknowledgement that she'd heard Adi's plan as opposed to permission since she did not have a monopoly on Corellia. She would probably see him there, but more importantly she wanted to catch up with Terra since she'd left on fairly short notice right as the padawan was coming up on her Trials with a master that seemed to have simply disappeared. Her ship was already prepped and ready to go, so she was able to leave pretty much immediately, a fact that pleased her because the diminutive Jedi Master was feeling both restless and antsy, something she'd never have admitted to Adieumus in as many words. Almost as quietly as she'd arrived in the courtyard she headed back to the hangar.

Piteos moved into the courtyard, it seemed to be mostly empty, aside from the countless tombstones. Necromancy. It was a brief thought that floated across his mind, but by now these would likely be skeletons and largely useless. Besides he was here on Jedi business and while what he had come to do here wasn't part of that, he would at least respect their home. Moving towards the be under a deep shadow cast from the various vegetation that clung to a long ago fallen pillar near the corner of the courtyard.
Slipping into the shadows he sat the beskargam out in front of him and began tinkering with the datagauntlet so he could remove it and rewire it before setting the replacement he had into it. In a few moments he had the datapad out of the housing and the wires cut that had attached it to the beskar on his forearm to act as a make shift antenna. Placing the broken datapad aside, he brought out the new one and began opening its casing so he could extend the antenna reach onto the beskar plate as the previous one had been.

After replacing the datapad he began removing the various beskar plates from his beskar'gram soon leaving just the pieces of spider silk cloth in its bare state. Removing the vial that you had used on Bim for Dred's armour you began to etch out a series of runes one each of the beskar plates. Differing greatly from the runes used on Dred's armour, the enchantment for the beskar'gam of Piteos was meant to do only one thing.
After he had etched out the runes, he sprinkled some fine dark gray powder into the small marks that the vial of green acid had made into the strong Mandalorian metal. Placing his hands over each of the items he said a small repeating chant to imbue the suit with the a particular Sith Magic spell. After finishing the chants, he began to pour the red viscous liquid from the bottle onto his left hand forming a slight slide with it to allow it pour onto the powders that had mixed with the remaining green liquid.
After doing this he placed each of the pieces of beskar back onto the silk clothe that held them and repeated the pouring of the red liquid onto the full suit of beskar'gam only this time pouring the blood onto his right hand. He smeared the blood with his left hand after finishing the bottle, and continued to chant before adding his right hand to the smearing process. His goal was to allow his armour to hide and muffle his presence in the Force when worn.
His task had been completed and he sat there beside the armour in meditation while the blood smeared across it slowly dried away in the hidden shadows where his magic had been performed. It was a relatively draining process, but it would come of use. Instead of having to constantly apply the spell to himself, his armour would grant him that. Each piece worn amplifying the enchantment as it created a slight stacking effect. If he donned the armour, he would look and be sensed like a regular Mando'ade and not as that of a dark sider and sorcerer.

Placing his buy'ce on himself and began to compose a quick message. After getting it prepared, he had it encrypted from a few rapid blinks and transmitted it.

He had finished the message, and the beskar'gam had finished curing. He left it laying there before uttering a few more mantras to seal the enchantment and gathering up the beskar'gam to replace it back into the cargo hold of his TIE/D Defender. By now he was no longer wearing his buy'ce and was headed back towards the lift that would take him down to the hangar. His foot falls silent, and his face twisted into the mirthful smirk. A soft chuckle could barely be heard as the turbolift sank down into the base.

Matango had left the hangar, and passed by the Courtyard. There were still remnants of the blasting...and subsequent rebuilding of the monuments by Adi...along with the fresher scars from the attack Adi himself had enacted upon it with Iniquitous' katana. The Jedi Master frowned at his actions. He should not have gotten that angry. It wasn't very Jedi-like in the least. The Jedi Watch lead was seeing his watchtower crumble before his very eyes.
In all honesty? He wasn't sure he even really cared anymore.
He was almost numb. There were now constant voices in his head. Each defeat became a demon, a series of mental goblins grown into monsters. He had tried to sleep, to no avail. The voices were too loud. He just couldn't shut them out. They were screaming for him to do more than sit on his ass and do nothing. He had the skills, access to the right people to end it post haste...and yet...here they were, pretty much stuck on a high-gravity rock with their thumbs up their asses.
It was becoming tiresome.
Piteos was standing inside the Courtyard as well, carrying a suit of beskar'gam. Truthfully? It didn't surprise Adi in the least....Zenchou had ways of infiltrating nearly every group in the known universe...why should the Mandalorians be any different? Besides, even if he -was- spying for the bucketheads, it was a bit late to stop him now. Adi just hoped that it was for other purposes at this point."Mine's better. It's designed to kill the type of armor you are wearing. Trust me, it's effective. Held out against quite a few on Yavin. Truthfully, I don't know why the Council ordered the Watchmen off world...We could have made a real difference, and perhaps they wouldn't be blockaded right now. Pisses me off, truthfully...It was a battle we could have won decisively."There was a cold tone in his voice, something he had not expected when speaking of the High Council. It was a statement laced with cynicism and second guessing of the more experienced members of the Jedi Order, as if he would know better. He did though, didn't he? He had been in more combat action than a lot of the ones that sat upon the council seats, and knew how to fight a war like this. He had done it numerous times on Honoghr, and done it successfully each and every time. Even when he moved out to help on Ossus, the team he had assembled had been extremely effective. But...as soon as he was taken out of the driver's seat, it had been one mishap and failure after another. Even here, he was hiding, ducking from Gahd's knew how many various factions of Mandalorians, and not able to do much about it.
For the first time in a very long time, the iron-willed Jedi had felt a very real tinge of fear creep into his psyche.

Piteos stopped at the lift, and saw Adieumus step out. The Jedi was a swirling cloud, which added to Piteos' glee. He listens to the Jedi's words and seemingly nods along before he himself began to speak up. "Who would have ordered you out of a combat zone?" Piteos said tilting his head to give him a more quizzical appearance, he tutted under his breath softly before continuing. "Seems foolish to remove, someone like you from the combat zone."
As he spoke he let the dark tendrils that seemed swarm about himself lick out towards Adieumus, hoping to increase the man's ego overall or increase any anger that the Jedi might feel concerning this matter. "So what was it that you wanted to speak to me about?" He says as he stoops over to place his now enchanted beskar'gam onto the ground, after setting it down he folds his arms across his chest. He was giving off the impression that while he wasn't necessarily a caring person, he did care about Adieumus due to their current business together.

"One would think, eh? Seems they don't think that way. They would prefer to let the bucketbrains hold them hostage, I guess."
He was nearly seething. It had baffled him then, it still baffled him now...why they had sent the Watchmen away. Were they jealous? Scared they wouldn't have their glory? Were they that egotistical to think they didn't need help? Perhaps, perhaps not....still, it was unnerving to no end to know that they had access to individuals that could have made a big difference.
The tactic of sending out one's force aura was not lost on Adi, as he used the opposite tactic to calm and relax people. Strangely enough, it wasn't even uncomfortable to have darkness flowing around him. In truth, it was a very old friend...but one Adieumus had shut out for going on 20 years now.
He still knew how, though, and he did as he always had....pushed back with an equal and opposite light. So why was it so difficult this time? Shrugging on the inside, Adi looked back to Piteos.
"I wanted to set up a contingency plan. There is an evacuation plan set up, and I wanted to make sure you knew what was going on. Should we be discovered, the evac route takes us to the far side of the planet, away from the hyperlanes. They will try to block them. We need to get out and away from the planet before we make any jumps. If and when the Mandos bring force, we are outta here...Ok?"
He had run the plan through literally hundreds of times. There weren't many known ways in or out of this system, and the ones that attacked would know this. Adi just hoped that his plan, along with the parts designed by Diamonte, were enough to save lives. Matango couldn't take losing anyone else at this point.

Piteos taps a step forward, his razor sharp teeth now showing through his thinly spread lips, and places his right hand on Adieumus' left shoulder. The dark thoughts that Adieumus had swirling through him would be dredged to the top, his own worries and troubles. His anger. The sadness of all that he had lost, all that the galaxy had lost. This sadness was staring into him, in the reflections of himself cast by Piteos' silver eyes.
"My ship has stealth capabilities. I will make it out fine." He paused as if sympathetic and understanding Adieumus worry. And while he did understand it, it was understood in more of an empirical way. A measurement of understanding, a measure of how he could manipulate this Jedi. "I will help you and the others make it out Adieumus." He said, before his smile softened just hair. "It will cost, but it will be done."
Piteos was hoping to play into the very worries that the Jedi might be experiencing. He would use that before sparking the tinder that would send the Jedi into a rage. Piteos would turn this Jedi, and hopefully get Adieumus' apprentice to turn as well. If he could so discord within the entire Watch, it would be a big strike against the jedi, and the order that the universe so desperately had been clinging to.

Matango chuckled as Piteos put his hand on his shoulder. This man was never sympathetic to anyone but himself, and whoever lined his pockets at the time...but the gesture did not go unnoticed. Even as the Sith was trying to bring the feelings of disdain and discord to the front of Adi's mind, they were already -there-. They didn't -need- the assistance of someone else to bring them there. But, with Piteos tugging at them, they were even -more- nagging....
Adi just tried to keep his cool for now.
"You'll be paid well. You know that is no issue. I appreciate the help. That is all I really needed, though. Just keep safe, don't die yet, magic man."

"There isn't a being n the galaxy that can remove me permanently." Adieumus would know this true, Piteos may have not died in front of him or by him. But those who knew Piteos well enough would know that he was nothing shy of immortal. His cold grip on the man's shoulder tightened and the silver eyes seemed to dive deep into Adieumus' own. "The Jedi order would be better without the fools that sent you away." He made sure it sounded like he was speaking on his continual point regarding how the jedi were weak, and making it show that moment's like this were exactly why he thought as such.

Adi nodded at Piteos claiming that 'There wasn't a being that could remove him permanently.' It was almost nearly true....the man was known to have come back after being thought dead...several times now. Even now, the rumors of his death at the hands of Kaine Australis seemed to be a bit exaggerated. Hell, maybe the guy -was- immortal...the force did grant some individuals power that was thought somewhat unnatural.
And Piteos was the epitome of 'unnatural'.
"They did what they thought was best, I suppose. I can't fault them for it -too- much, even though I disagreed with the decision. Besides, who is the bigger fool? The fool himself, or the one that follows him?"
Matango gently pulled his shoulder out from Piteos' grip, and took a step back, leaning against a pillar, and pulling out a hand-rolled smoke...one of his now-famous Endorian Endo cigs. Putting it to his lips, he produced a lighter, and ignited it, inhaling deeply of the acrid smoke. Holding it for a moment, he exhaled, and took another puff, offering it to Piteos.
"It's about the only thing that allows me to clear my mind anymore." He said, as the smoke from the last toke rolled out of his mouth and nose as he spoke. "Even the enjoyment from this though? It's losing its charm. It helps, but not like it should. It's still a very good strain of endo, though." There was nothing malicious in Adi's intent, he simply wished to share a little bit of his small bit of good cheer with a man that he had known for a long, long time.

Taking the cigarette Piteos took several deep inhales from it, blowing the plumes of smoke straight up. His eyes staying on the Jedi before him, he recognized the subtle taste and smell that he could perceive from the item he was smoking. "Ah, I recognize this..." He said with a wink before taking another deep inhale.
"You shouldn't fault them, perhaps they were worried that you would be lost to them there?" He says before taking another puff from the substance. "Or maybe they think you're some sort of bad luck." He said with a laugh before passing it back towards Adieumus. The dark side tendrils flickering about and touching all that came close to Piteos, some had even wrapped themselves around the cigarette, and possibly lingered with in it.
"I just don't understand why this would bother you Adi." He said with a light chuckle, despite the smile and eyes, he was evil and his silver eyes drove the point home with their continued stare deep into Adieumus' eyes. "It isn't like you actually are weak."

He took the joint back without a word, and took a toke. If it would have been six months ago, Matango would have agreed readily that no, he was -not- weak. He was able to handle anything thrown at him with ease...not to mention grace and style. Today? No, he wasn't so sure. So many had fallen due to this pointless jihad against force users. So many suffering because of people that were intolerant and ignorant.
All because of a warlord with a mean hair up his force-resistant arse.
Taking another drag, Adi held it, and handed the half-consumed smoke back to Piteos. Again, smoke rolled out as he spoke.
"Finish that, I still have plenty more. Besides, I can't get too inebriated....I am on my way to the lab downstairs. I just figured that you would appreciate to know our exit strategy before we actually needed it. Trust me, better now than at the last moment, eh?
Anyway, you are welcome here as long as you need somewhere to stay. All I ask is that you cause no trouble...please. It will go a long way for the ones residing here, I'm sure. I must be on my way for now though."
Patting Piteos on the shoulder as he had done to Adieumus earlier, Adi flashed a grin, and lingered only a moment before turning on his heels, heading for the exit of the Courtyard.

Taking another hit from the rolled cigarette Piteos tossed it into some shrubbery before picking up his beskar'gam and heading towards the hangar to stow it away. His silver eyes locked ahead of him, as he exited the Courtyard.
