“Well, if that is the case, I am most intrigued by this proposition of yours.” This was another of Vlusu’s mind games. There was no need to test the Sith’ari’s patience with stalling things out, and this was far more direct then he would have normally put it. He could tell what sort of proposal this would be; some position as one admiral or another. He hoped, however, that the fleet doctrine that he and the Chiss in general put forward would be more readily accepted by the Blackguard, seeing as the First Order had simply preferred overwhelming numbers to achieve victory. Not a very imaginative solution, and one that could easily be countered by any commander with even an ounce of foresight and brain power.

A sinister grin split the tattooed Zabrak's face as the Chiss took the bait. Manipulation was in his nature. Be it for good or ill, it was just something that happened without much thought or consideration for it. And right now, as manipulative as the situation may have seemed, the Sith'ari wasn't intentionally trying to manipulate the Chiss. Viox knew well enough that he needed more than mere Sith or dark siders on his side if he were ever to face down the First Order. And given the strategic brilliance of the Chess, along with their cold and cunning nature, Vlusu was a perfect candidate to become the Grand Admiral of the Blackguard Navy. Or the Imperium Fleet as it would eventually be called. But that was another matter for a different time. Right now, he wanted to cement an alliance with Vlusu. And while he may not have had the full support of the Chiss behind him, his support was enough for the time being. All things in due time, he reminded himself.
"You are, by nature, a strategical mastermind. The former Grand Admiral Thrawn is a prime example of what your species is capable of. A testament, if you will. And the First Order...or rather Nicademus in particular, had decidedly taken advantage of your people. Using them to fuel his war efforts against the failed Galactic Alliance and beyond. As you have plainly seen, were I to fight the First Order head on, it would result in enormous casualties. While normally this would be of no concern to me, I need someone willing and able to use the First Order's sheer martial might against them. Exploit their weaknesses. Counter their overwhelming numbers with precision strikes and feints. Cripple them in ways they never saw coming..."
Turning to look at Vlusu, the fierce yellow eyes of the Sith'ari locked with the red-hued gaze of the Chiss.
"Given the recent turn of events regarding your people works in my favour. Unfortunate, but there it is. Nicademus must be stopped. At all costs. You know this, as well as I. So my proposition is this..." Reaching into the folds of his robes, the Zabrak procured a small, flat case, similar to a jewelry box. Flipping it open, it revealed a set of code cylinders and a rank plate denoting the rank of Grand Admiral. "Become the Grand Admiral of the Blackguard's Navy, and you shall be set loose against the First Order, with my blessing..."

This had turned out better than Vlusu could have hoped. No mind games required, no subtle manipulation. At first, he would have considered himself lucky if he was simply granted a small position, perhaps of Rear Admiral, and simply fought the First Order from within the established structure of the Blackguard's Military. But Grand Admiral? He would be free to fight the First Order the way he liked to do things. The First Order was a very restrictive organization. In spite of their devotion to order, they refused to let an individual flourish if it went against their doctrine of how to conduct themselves. The Blackguard, on the other hand, was a different beast entirely. At some level, there was no structure, save for the one implemented by their philosophy. No rules, save for devotion to bettering the self. And Vlusu intended to master that structure. Finally, a use for his talents.
"I accept your offer, on one condition. Allow me to conduct my battles through my methods. I assure you, this will see results in time."

Arsus Company - Dark Diamond Palace, Golden Room. Arsus Company, one hundred fifty men strong, led by Major Vincent Cole, had the privilege of guarding and protecting the Golden Room and the inner most chambers of the Dark Diamond Palace. Ensuring the survival of all cabinet members. Governor Adarr Rykus, Empress Novax and Princess Lysandra, things on Iridonia continued as usual. Daily committee meetings, press conferences and the usual political dribble was conducted here as per the norm. With the Sith'ari spending most of his free time either out conquering worlds for the Blackguard or attending to matters on Mustafar, the Empress would oversee everything here, with Governor Rykus conducting the day to day operations of governing the planet.

Arsus Company Business continued as usual, within the Dark Diamond Palace. The current sitting Empress continued to manage Iridonia and Clan Savage, while Governor Rykus continued to manage the day to day affairs. All in all, the Imperium's grasp over Iridonia showed no signs of weakening. And Arsus Company was more than willing to ensure it stayed that way.

Red-clad stormtroopers poured into the building. But the occupants show no resistance, as the newcomer is no-one but Vallius Savage, heir to the Imperium and a lord of Iridonia. The mass of his destroyer can be glanced on the horizon, a wedge against the morning sky, surrounded by TIE fighters, flying in close formation.
The company of soldiers line the wall, pushing aside those unwilling to show the proper reverence. Then, the black armored protectors, former commandos of Viox himself, now converted into the thrall of his son, their former identity shed and cast aside, wearing a night-like version of the Sovereign Protector armor. Their shapes darkened the lights in the hall as the prince walked among them, hands clasped behind his back, wearing simple and clean-cut robes, the lightsaber hanging from the belt. The sole of his boots hit the floor with energy and it echoed as he moved to the throne and daringly, with a flourish, took a seat. An aide placed himself on the prince's side.
"Hear, hear, what His Grace, Vallius of House Savage, has to say and proclaim"
The yellow eyes looked around with malice for a moment. He bared his teeth slightly, like savouring the scent on the air.
"I declare that my father has forfeited his throne and office!"
His voice unnaturally reaches every corner, while holocams record the event accordingly.
"He has grown weak and idle, holed in his pitiful fortress in Mustafar, doing nothing save spinning tales about his grandeur and might. All false, spurious words only to cover up the truth"
The Zabrak gestures slightly.
"His mind is slipping, soon he will be but a husk, an insane thing and a madman whose will cannot be allowed to rule over the Blackguard and its many worlds. He does not govern, but others do, carrying the affairs of our domain while he grovels in his own insanity"
He rests his hand on the lightsaber.
"He is inane, resting idle while the enemies of the Sith grow and thrive. The Jedi are unoppossed, flourishing again from the brink of destruction. Yet, my father is fixed on the Emperor at Coruscant, who is no enemy of mine, neither of my people"
Savage makes a dramatic pause.
"My father, arrogant as he is, has forgotten the tenets and past of the Sith, surrounding himself in empty splendor and opulence, that bring nothing to our people. The very name and existence of this palace is an evidence of his vacuous pomp and vanity. Those are sins that will bring the Sith down, along the foolishness and idleness that characterize his actions of late"
He takes a short breath.
"He lost his purpose. He will lose our empire. That cannot be. By my own power I declared his throne forfeit and I seize my own birthright. Flock to me, people of the Blackguard, look to a new beacon of darkness, follow my will and give your back to the antiquated ways of my progenitor"
The troopers hammer the floor with the rifles, hailing the Zabrak. The aide steps forward while Savage leans back on the throne.
"All Hail, Vallius I, Lord of Iridonia, true sovereign of the Sith"
With clamour rising, Vallius gestures for his robotic servant to get close. He whispers to him with a hiss between his sharp teeth.
"Cull the weak. Kill all those loyal to my father. Governor Rykus has to bend the knee... if he persists in his foolishness, bring me his head. And send my regards to my mother, see that she is secured"
The droid nodded with his emotionless faceplate, while the soaring roar of TIEs could be heard outside the palace, flocking like crows and carrion around the palace, while the Imperial Star Destroyer hovered over the planet.

Weeks after the initial proclamation, another is issued from the bowels of the palace: Vallius is to be acknowledged as ruler over both the Glythe and the Bright Jewel sectors, that once were held by the Blackguard and are now constituted as its own lordship. The joint seats of the said domain shall be Iridonia and Anobis, the second of which shall held by a viceroy in the name of Lord Vallius, who will rule from the Dark Diamond Palace. All shall be sworn to their only master.

The turbolift doors parted, allowing the three Sith Knights their first look at the Golden Room, the pinnacle of the Dark Diamond Palace and the seat of the Iridonian Throne. Crimson-clad Sith Troopers and black-clad Sovereign Protectors were present, in significant numbers. Not that it made much of a difference to the Sith Knights. Stepping forward, armored from head to toe, Knight-Commander Klassen motioned for his comrades to spread out. The Pau'an male, Orien Corvus, was on his left and the human male, Saul Arterus, was on his right. The moment the blaster fire rang out, their sabers were ignited, deflecting the shots deftly back to its source. As they occupied the ranged Sith Troopers, Klassen drew his blade and charged the group of Protectors. Deflecting the blaster fire as he moved, his blade was a blur of motion as he cut through three of them without issue, deflected several more pot shots, parried their cortosis-forged blades and slew the remaining six within the span of two minutes. Being the top swordsman and one of the more athletic members of the team, Geralt's prowess was hardly ever matched by his foes. As Corvus and Arterus finished cleaning up the room, Klassen signaled to Lord Wraak, up in orbit.
The Golden Room is secure. Begin deployment of our forces. The rest of the Palace will be secured by the time they reach the LZ.
Once fully secured, Klassen assigned Arterus to help out where required, while Corvus and himself remained in the Golden Room, keeping it secure and overriding the Palace's exterior defenses. That would make securing the Palace much simpler and allow them control over the defenses, should the heretics attempt a counter attack.

In the span of time it had taken for the three Knights to secure the Golden Room and the remaining portion of the level and send off a transmission to begin landing their troops for a full scale siege, the heretics that followed Vallius' lies had regrouped and were pushing back against the three Knights, hard. The regular soldiers were easily dispatched, but the saber wielding force users were a little more problematic. Requiring a little more precision to slay than an average blaster wielding soldiers, the three Sith Knights were back up to the golden throne in the center of the Golden Room, engaging any who drew near enough to strike...

As the lift reached its destination, the doors parted, revealing several armored Sith Troopers sporting red armor with tribal markings. Sympathizers of Vallius. And they would die as such. Before they could react to his presence, the crimson blade of his lightsaber sprang to life. Moving swiftly, twirling the blade, Venom cut down one of the turbolift sentries, and impaled the other. As the other four troopers reacted to the disturbance, Venom gathered the Force as he moved, throwing his lightsaber at the nearest two while extending his left hand and launching a barrage of Force Lightning at the remaining two. The effect was as intended. Two troopers dropped, headless. The other two writhed and spasmed as an electrical current coursed through them. They dropped their blasters and crumpled to the floor in heaps. With his right hand extended, his lightsaber hilt slapped his palm as it was recalled to his grasp. Striding forward, he reached the Throne Room doors. With his left hand, the Zabrak opened them telekinetically. As the doors parted, five attackers wielding lightsabers had the Knight-Commander and his companions surrounded and backed up to the throne. Saber still lit, Venom extended his left hand and formed a vise with his thumb and index finger. The nearest opponent suddenly stopped, mid stride, and began clutching and clawing at his throat. With a flick of his wrist, he tossed the Zabrak opponent across the room and into a golden pillar. Folding around it, the Zabrak slumped to the floor. Gripping his saber, he advanced to the remaining four attackers. Now it was even. Four versus four. Now it would be interesting.

Lord Wraak's timely arrival served to deter the advance of the enemy combatants. With the swift elimination of one of the five assailants, the playing field had been evened out. Launching himself towards his attacker, Geralt dropped to his knees and slid under the attacker's defenses while he was distracted by Venom's arrival. With a quick flick of the wrist, the saber wielding foe was now missing his forearms, as Geralt had just severed them clean off. As he twisted and jumped to his feet, he reached out with his free hand to grab his foe and, using his momentum, threw him across the room, creating an opening for the other two knights to exploit. Which they did, without hesitation. Within the span of several minutes, only the sound of heavy breathing and the low hum of several ignited lightsabers could be heard. The Golden Room had once again been secured.

As the Knight-Commander and his fellow Knights felled their opponents with relative ease, Venom spent a few moments toying with his opponent before running him through and tossing him aside like a discarded napkin. Breathing heavily, Venom extinguished his blade and returned the hilt to his belt. Sensing no immediate threats, he commed down to his men in the hangar bay.
Sergeant Kolar. The Golden Room is secured for the time being. Send in your troops and reinforce this position.
Without waiting for a response, Venom switched channels and relayed his status report.
My Empress. The Dark Diamond Palace is secured. My forces will be ready to regroup and begin pushing the betrayers from Malidris on your orders.
With the Palace secured, the Sith Knights, himself and whatever reinforcements the Sith'ari and Empress had with them would be more than enough to hold the Palace so they could focus on purging the city. However, it wasn't his call to make.

Dark Diamond Palace - Golden Room.
The lift doors parted and the Sith'ari and his Empress departed, followed by their Anzati guards. Knight-Commander Klassen, along with two of his Knights were posted to the doors of the Throne Room itself, while Venom Starkiller was inside. Moving past the Knights, leaning heavily on his cane as he moved, the Zabrak motioned for Venom to fall into step. Approaching the ornate golden throne at the center of the throne room, the Sith'ari paused. It had been years since he had sat in this throne. Years since he had arrived here as the hero conqueror of the planet with the First Order. Years since he had first met his daughter. All these things pressed on him for a moment, as he became lost in thought. Eyes tracing the outline of the throne as he absently though of the events that led to this moment, his eyes came to rest on the golden scepter that was slotted into its holder on the throne's left arm. The polished obsidian gemstone fixed at the end still sparkled like the day it did when it had been created. Normally above such gross displays of opulence, the specter had been crafted at his will and, like most seemingly mundane objects in his possession, it served a dual purpose. Not only was the heavy ended scepter useful as a blunt weapon, it was also a key. Stepping up to the throne, the Zabrak reached down and wrapped his boney fingers around the cool, golden hilt. With a grunt, he slid the scepter out of its slot and stared at it for a few moments, in his frail fingers. With a sigh, the curled his fingers around it tightly, raised it up and with one all mighty heave, he slammed the obsidian gemstone down on the seat of the throne as hard as he could. As expected, the stone exploded into glistening black shards. Brushing the remaining pieces of the stone away with his free hand, a slotted indentation was revealed beneath where the obsidian had resided. With a clench of his teeth, the Zabrak tossed his cane aside and strode as upright as he could to the large, pillar directly off to the throne's right side. Upon passive observation, the large golden pillars on either side of the throne appeared to be structural. And while that was correct, it was only partially correct. Sliding his boney fingers across the smooth surface of the right most pillar, a faint click could be heard. The surface of the pillar where his hand had been shifted and opened, revealing a key hole that appeared to fit the indentation on the scepter. Placing the specter's end into the keyhole, with a push and a half turn, the other side of the pillar parted, revealing a turbo lift.
"Guards....leave us..."
Wheezed the Sith'ari. As the Anzati guards vacated the Throne Room, Viox motioned for Natalia and Venom to enter the lift. As they did so, he followed them in, the doors sealing shut behind them. And then the lift plummeted down through the Palace, down into the earth beneath the Palace...

At this point, it wasn't surprising that there was a hidden lift in the Throne Room. Viox always did like his secrets. And his hidden underground facilities. So when the pillar parted, revealing a turbolift, the Zabrak merely shrugged and entered. What did surprise him, was the state of the Sith'ari's body. Having known the man for many years, even apprenticing under him for a time, he was always in incredible shape. His prowess was practically legendary among his species. Now? Now he was a shell of his former self. Whatever rituals or enhancements he had undertook to increase his power, was wearing on him. Immensely. Though, Viox was not one to commit to something without a contingency plan. He knew him well enough to know that. So, he figured this was just part of that contingency. For now, he would merely observe and do as he was told.

Dark Diamond Palace - Subterranean Laboratory
If either of his two compatriots had any concerns regarding the concealed turbo lift access, neither if them voiced it. At this point, Venom most likely suspected Viox had his secrets. He'd been around long enough to know more or less how the Sith'ari operated. Natalia, on the other hand, was just beginning to glean the surface of how Viox's mind worked. Or used to work. The seemingly long descent far below the Dark Diamond Palace finally came to a halt. The moment the doors parted, Viox was striding out and down the corridors. Natalia and Venom fell into step a few paces behind, taking in their surroundings. Cylindrical glass tubes holding Zabrak clones at various stages of development could be seen. Several contained alien creatures were also stored here. For all intents and purposes, this lab had been constructed for the sole purpose of extending the Sith'ari's life by any means necessary. There were various relics and artifacts that had been collected over the years, scientists in while lab coats and several different droid models walked the halls. Almost unbelievable to think a place like this had been constructed without raising any sort of suspicion. Though the Sith'ari had decades of experience in that regard. Entering an observation suite overlooking a large, circular room with several darkened tubes and a pedestal in the middle, Viox approached the leading scientist.
"Secure all data and specimens for transport. Everything leaves here and heads to Mustafar. Jen'ari Znalost was kind enough to allocate space in the Black Forge for our continued work. But leave the central room untouched..."
The scientists eyes widened in surprise at the mention of leaving the central chamber untouched, but nodded in acknowledgement of the Sith'ari's orders. Bowing respectfully, the man left. Moving to the lift that would drop him down into the central room, he motioned for Venom and Natalia to continue following. A few moments later, the trio was down in the central chamber. The ornate obsidian pedestal in the center of the room held a red, pulsing pyramid shaped device locked into place on top. A holocron. As the Sith'ari approached the pedestal, the cloning tube directly ahead of it lit up. A fully grown male Zabrak sporting red and black tribal tattoos could be seen. Upon closer inspection, it was actually a clone of the Sith'ari himself. Though this clone body appeared to be in peak physical condition. It was almost like looking back in time, many, many years ago, to a much younger and healthier Viox. Though that was the point. His current body had long since reached its expiration and was now nothing more than a decaying shell. Inhaling deeply as he reached up and placed his hands on the holocron's base. Chanting in High Sith, eerie green tendrils began to snake their way off of his body. Crawling down the pedestal and towards the cloned body, the green tendrils of energy snaked their way up the tank and managed to wriggle into the tube through the top access. And then it connected with the body. And that's when the room began to shake and tremble. The ritual had begun. Cracks began to form in the ceiling and the walls. Dust and dirt rained through. Lights flickered and a few even blew out from being overcharged. But the Sith'ari still chanted, his voice becoming louder and louder. Just when it seemed the whole roome was going to collapse, Viox looked directly upwards, eyes rolling in the back of his head, mouth hung open. A deep, guttural scream escaped him, much louder than one would expect from him in his current state. And then, in one almighty surge of energy, there was a brilliantly blinding flash of light and an earth shattering boom. So much so that windows blew out from the force, and Natalia and Venom were launched across the room...

As we made our way into the Golden Room, and Viox plucked the specter up and smashed the obsidian gemstone that had adorned it, I was impressed with the opulence and wealth this room exuded. It was almost intoxicating. Almost. The reveal of the concealed turbolift didn't come as a surprise to me, though. I expected it, as it was something I would have done were I in his position. Wraak seemed indifferent to it as well, so we continued on. The ride down wasn't anything special, though the pull of the dark side was becoming irresistible the further down we went. It started off as a tease. A taste of something that promised immense power. But then the draw, the hunger for it grew. It was practically insatiable. And I knew a thing or two about powerful hunger and the desire to consume. But this didn't compare to my urges. As the doors parted, I was greeted with the harsh chemical smell of antiseptic. Suppressing a cough, I followed the other two Zabraks out of the lift, taking in my surroundings. The scale of this laboratory was unexpected. This was the type of place that was expected to be on Coruscant or Hapes, not buried underground. Cloning tubes, animal cages, people, droids and humming equipment abound. I was still taking in the vastness and complexity of the facility when we entered what appeared to be an observation room. Viox spoke to the scientist present, though I was draw to what the room overlooked. A large, circular room. Darkened. Though the red hued glow emanating from the ornate obsidian pedestal at the center of the room caught my eye. A holocron. For what purpose? Now I was intrigued. As the scientist left the room rather hurriedly, I continued my trek with Viox and Wraak. Stepping off the lift into the central chamber, my eyes could pick out runic carvings on the stone walls, even in this dim setting. This was a ritual chamber! As the realization clicked, Viox was already underway. He certainly didn't waste time, that was for certain. What transpired next was...interesting and somewhat terrifying. A combination I rarely experienced these days. Viox approached the pedestal and began chanting in what I could only assume was an ancient dialect. That was interesting. The green corporeal tendrils that snaked down his body and towards the tube ahead of them was rather terrifying though. Sure, I practiced some forms of the arcane, but this was like Nightsister level stuff. Far beyond my own capabilities, at any rate. Then the truly terrifying part happened...*
*The whole room shook. Panes of glass rattled in their frames, cracks split solid stone. And Viox's chanting was increasing both in tempo and decibel. Instinctively, I wanted to yank him back from the pedestal, but not entirely understanding the whole situation stayed my hands. And the eerie green tentacles. I was pretty sure I knew what they were, yet I wasn't willing to take a chance. In this instance, playing it safe was much better than the alternative. As the decibel and tempo of Viox chanting increased again and the whole room felt like it was going to collapse, a brilliant flash erupted from the center of the room at the same moment Viox bellowed out a deep scream, and then I was thrown from my feet as a shockwave pulsed through the room...emanating from Viox himself! At this point, all I could do was hope to not hit my head and merely watch what was unfolding...

Dark Diamond Palace - Subterranean Laboratory.None of this really phased him, at this point. Having been Viox's apprentice during his tenure with the Tyrian Triumvirate decades ago, he had seen all of his hidden refuges and sanctuaries hidden across the vast desert expanse that had been Rhommamool's surface. If those crimson sands could speak, there was centuries of stories they could tell. But that line of thought was straying from the point. Exiting the lift, taking in the surroundings of the lab as well as keeping some of his attention focused on Viox and what he was doing, he knew Iridonia's occupation was only temporary. The order to evacuate this location confirmed that. Though Venom had suspected that way before this, it was nice to realize he could still predict what his former master would do. Then came riding the lift down to the central chamber, after Viox spoke to the scientist and gave his orders. Now he was uneasy. As his eyes adjusted to the dim light, he could make out a cylindrical object at the far side of the room, opposite where they currently stood. The pedestal in the center of the room is what put him on edge. An ornate obsidian pedestal holding a holocron. That was an altar. This was the ritual chamber. Viox was going to attempt Transfer Essence! And the only reason he knew that, was due to the fact that he and his brother Valafar, witnessed Viox's father, Xander, do the exact same thing first hand. And Xander was immensely powerful and had millenia more experience with these kinds of things. Before Venom could voice his concerns, Viox had already begun. He was chanting in High Sith, green tendrils of energy were snaking their way down his body and across the room. And then the whole room shook, like it was about to collapse. Gritting his teeth, Venom had to trust the Sith'ari knew what he was doing. Though that didn't inspire much confidence, or ease his mind. The sudden what flash and loud bag, accompanied by the shockwave that tossed him across the room drove any and all thoughts from his head as he blanked on the situation. Everything happened to quickly that he was still trying to process the information available before he hit the wall and slumped down in a heap, unconscious.

Dark Diamond Palace - Subterranean Laboratory.
As the light from the flash dissipated and the room stopped shaking as though it was going to collapse, everything seemed to calm down and return to normal. With Venom rendered unconscious, and Natalia slowly getting to her feet, she would soon realize that Viox was no where to be seen. There was nothing left where he had been standing at the altar. No trace of him ever being in the room. At least, until the cylindrical tube directly ahead of the altar began to drain the contents. The incubation liquid was drained out and the glass slid down, allowing the occupant its first breath of fresh air. The fully nude, glistening red and black skinned Zabrak dropped to his knees and coughed. Fluid was expelled with each cough, followed by a sharp gasp for air.
"I...I...live!"
The raspy voice crackled, having never been used before now. Rising from a kneeling position, legs unsteady, they held under his weight. Gathering his bearings, he looked around the room, taking in everything. The runic covered walls, the ornate obsidian altar that help the Sith Holocron he had used to initiate the ritual. The unconscious form of Venom caught his eye as did the form of Natalia as she rose to her feet. Stepping down from the tank, the Zabrak flexed his muscles. Completely unscathed. No scars, injuries of old or missing appendages. He was full of life again. And he could feel the energy coursing through him. Absently, he fingers the glowing red gemstone embedded into his chest. One of the few things that he had made sure carried over. The Elder Stone was a critical focusing point for his powers. Without it, he would begin deteriorating in days or weeks, rather than months or years as was expected. While it wasn't his original body, it was still him. And it felt good.

I couldn't believe my eyes. One moment, my king had been standing by the obsidian altar, withered, decrepit and frail. Now he stood before me, young, full of life, emanating a power I had only briefly felt, back during the Blackguard's invasion of Anzat. And he was completely naked. Which was also a very pleasing view, though that was for an entirely different reason. As I rose to my feet, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. His carved biceps, his chiseled chest...his...muscular thighs, among other things. I may have wanted him before, but a whole new level of desire washed over me. Shaking my head to clear a few rather intrusive and private thoughts, I slowly walked towards him. "My lord...?" I asked cautiously. This was an entirely new level of utilizing the arcane and the dark side. At least for me. Not being directly Sith aligned, I was not overly exposed to such methods or teachings during my youth. So I was having a little trouble believing what I was seeing. I just hoped that my eyes weren't deceiving me...

Dark Diamond Palace - Subterranean Laboratory.
Watching the Empress cautiously approach, Viox smirked.
"Indeed. I live, once again. More powerful than I ever was!"
He answered. Being able to hold his head up high without feeling like he was about to collapse was a glorious feeling. And being able to hold the Elder's incessant whispering at bay with merely a thought? That was something he hadn't been able to do for years. In the beginning, he could. But towards the end, if he hadn't put the Elder Stone in his chest when he did, he might not have been standing here, in this moment of victory right now. Smirking again as he noticed where the Anzati's eyes were venturing and how long they seemed to be lingering, he turned towards a storage locker on the wall that was surprisingly still intact. Inside was a fresh set of clothes. His usual attire. Taking a few moments to adjust to this body's movements and how it handled, so to speak, in comparison to his old body, it was taking a bit to get used to it. Donning his tunic and robes, the Zabrak spotted the pile of tattered rags that had been the clothing he had been wearing upon his arrival. Inhaling slowly and allowing his eyes to flutter closed, he reached out his left hand and summoned the saber hilt that had been attached to the remains of his old belt. With a reassuring and solid smack, the saber hilt slapped his waiting palm. Curing his fingers around the hilt, he basked in just being able to feel it. It had been several decades since Kalen, a former brother, had taken his left hand. Now he had it back. As useful as the prosthetic had been, it still couldn't compare to legitimate flesh and blood. Returning the hilt to his left hip, where it would hang from his belt, the Zabrak addressed his Empress.
"We must belay Operation: FRACTURE. There are a few...exercises I need to perform with this body...and a handful of the disobedient would be an apt challenge..."
Eager to push this body's limits, he needed to take it easy for the first few days. But once he got a handle on everything again, there would be hell to pay. It was often said, revenge was a dish best served cold. And Viox agreed. It was time to eat.
