After sitting on the floor with her back to the console and facing the row of monuments, Nidana looked over at the holo-dices and making a note to check them out once Rampant was done with Viox's history. And in response to the question a simple shake of the head as she continued to absorb and file away all of the information that was being presented.

Continuing to speak, as Nidana shook her head, the A.I continued speaking, his synthetic voice filling the room.
"With the defeat of the Yuuzhan Vong, the Jedi of Osarian retreated to their world. And preparations began to increase the Tyrian Triumvirate's military forces. Several cloning facilities, using the best methods at the time, were constructed at key, remote locations around Rhommamool. The clones templates were generic of Zabrak, Bakuran and Mandalorian descent, give the Triumvirate the bulk of its armed forces. An airfield was also constructed at this time, named Novax Field in honor of the missing Lady Novax, it was the sole hub for incoming and outgoing transportation to and from the planet. It was located precisely halfway between Tyr and Redhaven. As construction of several ships began, Lord Savage also began the creation of the Fighter Pilot Academy of Rhommamool, a moon-sized space station housing hundreds of starfighters, living quarters, simulations and various other facilities required to make the station self sufficient. Upon its completion, Lord Savage had taken Lady Amaris Jade, a human female, as an apprentice. Upon training her, he also sought out the best pilots from all corners of the galaxy. Finding and preparing the desired candidates was the first step in creating the greatest Sith-led fighter squadron the galaxy had ever seen, the Crimson Blades. After months of grueling training, the time came for the Tyrian Triumvirate to initiate an attack on the Osarian Jedi, retribution for the earlier joint assault with the Vong. Lord-General Praxus and Lady Deathstalker managed to sneak onto the planet ahead of the assault in an attempt to disrupt communications and allow the incoming assault a chance to gain a foothold on the ground. Lord-General Praxus' fleet, combined with Lord Kalen and Lord Savage's, supported by the FPA, assaulted Osarian. Unfortunately, the Osarian Jedi were more unified in their defense than originally predicted. After inflicting and suffering heavy losses, the Triumvirate forces were forced to retreat from Osarian space. Battle statistics and holo-video records are available for your viewing, Lady Nidana."
A holo-display behind the A.I's pedestal winked on and began displaying the stats of the battle, that were now well over several decades old and silently replaying the intense battle between the Jedi and the Sith. It was chaotic, or at least that was how it would look to the untrained eye. A skilled tactician would see the formations and strategies being employed on both sides of the conflict. Lasers lanced back and forth between the two sides as fighters dipped and wove in and out of the larger capital ships and their support ships. Even to the untrained eye, it was a bloodbath. Both sides were suffering immense losses. Neither side was actually 'winning' at that point. Giving Nidana a moment of two to look over the information and decide what to do with it, Rampant retrieved the next file of information and prepared to present it to the young Echani.

Nidana watched, amazed at the coordinated movements of both sides forces. She had a very light and rudimentary understanding of battle tactics, so much of it was lost to her beyond the near artful maneuvers made during the battle. She seemed to be lost in admiration for her new father and all he had been able to accomplish. Soon she would turn back to Rampant.
Thank you, Rampant. Tell me more.

Vacating the lift and making his way to into the Throne Room, tucked in the center of the Golden Room itself, Savage seated himself on the obsidian throne. Motioning to the seats before the throne, he indicated to the Grand Moff to take a seat. And then he listened to what the Chiss had to say. And so, Savage wasn't the only one who had his doubts about Nicademus. Interesting."Indeed. And what has our esteemed Emperor done to give you this impression?" Better yet, what gave you the notion that you could come to me with this sort of information? What makes you think I am dissatisfied with our leader's methods?"Vlusu didn't know Viox, aside from him being the former High Admiral. And those tales would be spun by those who told them making Viox come off as a patriotic Sith, as he carried out his duties to the letter. Which he did. Aside from voicing his thoughts about Nicademus to his brother who was a Knight of Ren working as a double agent for him, no one else knew of Viox's original intentions to split from the First Order and then take it over. So, if Vlusu was approaching him now, either his brother had opened his mouth, which was highly unlikely, or things actually were getting that bad. Provided the Chiss was straight up with the information he passed along, all would be revealed soon enough. Vlusu let a small grin cross his face. He had been banking on the fact that his original read of Viox had been correct, and that he as well disliked the leadership that was given by the Emperor. He could simply tell by the fact that he was the Sith’ari. Traditionally, people who wielded the Force were made the rulers of such groups. 9 to 1 odds said that he thought that the Emperor was weak, and didn’t deserve the throne. That a Sith deserved it.“As far as your second inquiry goes, it was rather simple really. I can tell that you think that he is unfit for the throne. That he is weak. That a Sith should be in power. You regard the Knights of Ren as mere children, not realising the true power of the dark side, and that the Imperial Knights simply should not exist. I have some understanding of how the Sith operate. And I could tell based on that, and a number of other facts, that you dislike the Emperor. As far as the first matter goes, I will say this. The man destroyed my people’s culture. Our way of life. We simply wished to coexist peacefully, we would have even assisted, had they asked. But instead, they chose to simply overrun us because they had more power. I know that you are wiser than that, that you recognize the value of having allies and not simply crushing all those you come across. And I know that historically, my people and the Sith have always maintained good relations with each other. So I believe having you in power would not only help my people, but would benefit the First Order as a whole.”

And there it was. The true reason for why Vlusu was here. And he certainly knew how to play his words carefully. Viox both respected and liked that about the Chiss before him. A small smirk graced his lips as the Chiss finished speaking.
"Your knowledge of how a typcial Sith operates is impressive. Most don't bother to learn our culture and see us as nothing more than vicious barbarians with magical talents and a tendency to kill each other off for the sake of power...but that couldn't be further from the truth."
At the mention of the First Order's conquest of Chiss Space, Viox chose his next words carefully. Since he was present there and had inflicted his fair share of casualties against the former Ascendancy, he needed to tread carefully. And with Vlusu being a Grand Moff, he undoubtedly knew that Viox, being the former High Admiral, had been present.
"Undoubtedly, you are aware of my participation with the battle of Csilla, yes? Not my finest moment, but to keep up appearances, I did what was necessary. I'm sure you can understand that. As for your keen observations, you would be correct. Nicademus is unfit to wield what he had forged. Impressive he's managed to hold it together this long, but I imagine that will change in the future..."
The Sith trailed off, unwilling to divulge his plans for the First Order to Vlusu just yet. But as far as he could tell, the Chiss spoke honestly. With an underlying ulterior motive, perhaps, but the mention of allies rang true, or as true as Viox could get a read on it. Vlusu was well versed at keeping his emotions and thoughts hidden. Such was the way of his people. Remarkable tacticians and quite the tenacious group, the Chiss would prove to be valuable allies, if and when he moved against the First Order. Provided Vlusu was smart enough to not cross him, he could foresee an amicable relationship between them. With the nature of Vlusu's visit revealed, he dropped his charade.
"Apologies, Grand Moff, but I have been less than truthful to you since your arrival. And while I have no intentions of being fully truthful to you now, I think you would find the Blackguard Reborn as a powerful ally, should you need their aid in the future. I harbor no love for the First Order, however I have taken a keen pleasure in manipulating its resources to benefit and aid the Blackguard. From selecting my replacement as High Admiral to appointing my apprentice as an Imperial Intelligence operative and planting my own flesh and blood within the Knights of Ren, I pull the necessary strings to ensure the self-proclaimed 'Emperor' remains blind to my actions. With the coming events, he won't remain that way, but for now, operating from the shadows has proved to be most beneficial to me."
Sitting up a little straighter in the throne, the Zabrak motioned for a servant to bring refreshments to them. The time for being cordial was over. Now it was time to pick this man's brain and see just how much he was willing to divulge. Plucking a glass filled with a fine Iridonian Wine, the Sith eyed the reddish liquid in the glass. Upon taking a sip, he looked to the Chiss.
"I imagine our goals are very compatible. Perhaps you would be willing to share what you had in mind? And in return I can offer the Blackguard's support."
Provided Vlusu was upfront about this, he was willing to pledge the Blackguard's support to his cause. And being as smart as he was, he knew Vlusu wasn't going to omit the important details, for both of them has everything to lose, should the Emperor of the First Order discover what they were scheming behind his back...

Vlusu listened very carefully to what Viox said. As he was a Force user, he was uncanny at hiding his thoughts from the Chiss. But the facial expressions, he could read the sincerety of what he was saying. He did allow one small portion of his thoughts to be exposed to the Force, as so Viox could read it. That part being his opinion of the Sith. Many believed them to be needlessly violent and bloodthirsty barbarians, but he found such stereotypes to be very untrue. Simply looking at history would scream volumes about that. Darth Revan and Malak’s brilliantly orchestrated campaign that nearly destroyed the Republic, Palpatine’s devotion to attempt to save the galaxy from the Yuuzhan Vong. But perhaps their most brilliantly orchestrated plot was their rise to power following their near destruction. The Jedi were hamstrung by their moral code, but the Sith were willing to do whatever was necessary. A trait the Chiss could admire. Aside from that, however, he found the offer of the Zabrak to be intriguing. He had seen the reports of the Blackguard’s strength. They were a powerful force indeed. And a valuable ally. The Chiss and Sith always had maintained a healthy relationship. He hoped that said cooperation could continue on. “We, the Chiss People, have been working on a plan as well. A plan to rid ourselves of the First Order. I, as well, cannot divulge the full details of the plan, but now that I have finally brought the Chiss back on their feet, and events are coming to a head with the announcement of a successor, the defeat of the Galactic Alliance, and numerous other factors. I will say that the Blackguard would be a welcome ally indeed. And that you will quite like the plan, as it involves a rather... dramatic, and yet final end for both the Imperial Knights and the Knights of Ren. Naturally, your brother will not be harmed in these plans. In fact, he will be very useful in them, to both myself and you.” He paused for a moment, allowing the Sith’ari to process the information. As capable in the mind as he was, he had just presented quite a deal of information. “Of course, you should know that the Chiss people will help you with anything they can, and that you are welcome on Csilla at any point.”

Viox mulled over what the Chiss had just said, as he sipped his wine. As the Galactic Alliance had failed miserably in its attempt to halt the advance of the First Order, this news of a successor was unsurprising. And it could prove useful for his future plans against the First Order. But for now, he was in no position to openly strike against the First Order. Until the completion of the Dark Obelisk on Mustafar and the securing of vital resource lines, the Blackguard was still too reliant on the First Order's unknowing support. That would, however, be remedied in due time. Nodding in agreement with the Chiss, he spoke once more.
"Despite how rapidly the Blackguard has grown, I cannot risk open warfare with the First Order...yet. But if you truly wish to see Nicademus burn with his creation, you will have my support in doing so. Upon completion of the Blackguard's Dark Obelisk on Mustafar, and the reactivation of several droid foundries, the Blackguard has more than enough manpower to aid you, should the need arise. As for my brother, I shall pass along word to him. He's...bound to serving me for the time being, and as much as he may dislike it, he will cooperate should you need his support. As for the downfall of the Knights of Ren, that, I would happily help you do. I loathe them in their entirety. They are nothing more than a stain on the footnotes of galactic history, and as such, they will suffer in due time. In the meantime, feel free to conclude your 'inspection' of Iridonia for the First Order, Grand Moff. I trust you will find everything here is in order, as the Emperor would expect..."
A smile split his tattooed face as he chuckled slightly at what he had just said. Keeping Nicademus in the dark in regards to his true purpose on both Iridonia and Mustafar was one of his favorite past times. And even if the Emperor knew something was amiss, he wasn't about to accuse Viox of anything without indisputable proof. And Viox was much to careful when it came to leaving proof of his actions. No one, aside from a select few, knew about his hatred of the Imperial Emperor. As much as he despised the man, he wasn't one to be underestimated. But in due time, the Blackguard would be put to the test against the First Order. And it would be glorious, as that was the grand design of the Sith'ari...

Vlusu as well let out a small chuckle. “Indeed... I’m sure I will find everything in perfect order here.” Vlusu then remembered one thing that he had forgotten to tell Viox. As he was a force sensitive, and a Sith at that, he would certainly be most interested in what he would say. “There is... one more thing. I have recently acquired a particularly large amount of Kyber Crystals. From the Jedi world of Illum. It may be inconsequential, but if you could find a use for them, we have quite a surplus. I understand that these Crystals can be turned into tools of the Dark Side, hence why I brought this to your attention.”

Setting his glass down, the Zabrak grinned at the mention of Kyber Crystals. They were indeed a useful tool to be utilized by the Blackguard. How the Chiss had come into possession of them was interesting, but the Sith knew better than to ask. Nodding, Savage spoke.
"A wise choice. We will certainly make good use of these Kyber Crystals. I can have my forces pick up the surplus, or we can arrange delivery to Mustafar at your earliest convenience. Which would you prefer?"
A shipment of Kyber Crystals was certainly beneficial to the Blackguard, and in being diplomatic about the acquisition of them, he was hoping to make a good impression. After all, Vlusu came to him, sought him out. Handling the formalities was important enough to ensure a smooth relationship between them. And truthfully, the Zabrak knew he couldn't hide in the shadows from the First Order forever. At some point he would have to move against the First Order, and when he did, he wanted to be fully prepared to take the military power head on. And these crystals would certainly help prepare him for that.

It had been nearly a year since he had sat in his throne within the Golden Room of the Dark Diamond Palace. Home. With the massive expansion of the Blackguard, he had been on Mustafar or beyond for the last several months. And in those months, much had happened. But right now, the arrival of the heavily damaged and still burning Chiss Star Destroyer in orbit had turned his attentions elsewhere. Seated upon the throne in the room, he waited for the moment his escort would arrive with his guest. Apparently recent developments within Chiss space weren't exaggerated. But he'd find out soon enough, because Grand Admiral Zuhel was already on his way to the Golden Room...

Vlusu entered the Golden Room, his new white uniform, combined with the cool blue color of his skin, contrasting sharply with the dark, heavy colors of the throne room, his cloak draping onto the polished stone floors. Approaching the golden dais that sat before him, at the nexus of the room's lighting. A dozen or so guardsmen stood at the side of the platform, armed and ready to take out any threat to the man who sat before Vlusu. There were a number of exits to the room should things go south, the most notable of which was to simply make use of the two side doors that were partially concealed behind some sculpturework. And there, sitting before him, in all his glory, was the Sith'ari. Viox Savage. He bowed before him as a sign of respect. "Sith'ari."

With an arched eyebrow, the Zabrak watched the immaculately dressed Chiss as he strode into the room. As he bowed, showing his respect, the Sith inclined his head in acknowledgement.
"Vlusu'heas'cauro. The last time you were here, you were a Grand Moff within the First Order. Now.."
The Sith trailed off with a small chuckle, remembering his latest encounter with Nicademus and how their allegiance ended. Though there was peace between them, it was rather tentative. Regardless, the Sith stopped his musings and returned to the matter at hand.
"Previously, we discussed how there were those who wanted to leave the First Order. Now, you show up on my doorstep, your ship in flames. Dare I say that perhaps you leaving the First Order didn't go as planned...?"
Despite leaving the First Order, he was well aware of how it functioned. And he still had his backdoor access to some of their networks, so he was still able to glean information and predict small scale events relatively easily. But the Chiss leaving the First Order wasn't something he could have foreseen in a thousand years. Apparently their relationship wasn't as amicable as he had thought.

"Yes, that would be one way of putting it." Vlusu paused for a moment and looked straight at Viox. "We were... betrayed. Apparently the Aristocras had caught wind of our... insurgency and sold us out to the First Order. We barely escaped with our lives."

With a small smirk, the Zabrak sat up a little straighter, then leaned forward and steeped his fingers together in contemplation.
"Betrayal always comes at a cost. And you have paid it. Branded a traitor and barely alive, you were forced to flee...and you seek refuge within the folds of the Blackguard perhaps?"
This was how betrayal worked. Once party was forced to flee, and the other had something of value. Now it was time to truly find out what was of value.

"Let's say I do..." Vlusu did not want to show his hand too quickly. After being relatively rattled by the failure at Csilla and The Redoubt, now was not a time to rush forward bull-headedly. Now was a time for caution. Reflection. And hopefully, a chance for a fresh start. The time to liberate his people had come, and passed. Perhaps another opportunity would present itself in the future; but today was not that day.

Lowering his hands and rolling his eyes, the Sith shifted in his seat due to annoyance. Typical Chess mannerisms. And it was annoying.
"Speak plainly. I do not have the patience to indulge in your trivialities today. If the Blackguard was to offer you asylum, what would you provide in return...?"
So far, he was putting all of the value out there. And he was getting nothing back. It was getting to the point where this was going to end one of two ways. And the peaceful resolution was seeming less likely, even though he did respect the Chiss before him. But playing games wasn't the way to make this work, as difficult as it might be for the Chiss to not do. It was their nature, after all...

Clearly, Viox's patience was wearing thin, as the weight of the Blackguard rested on his shoulders. Clearly, the final pieces were falling into place before the split occurred. And yet, he got a sense it could be something else. Something different. Perhaps it was just a feeling, but the infrared underlay of his eyes could clearly tell something was remiss with his mind. It was much more restless than it had been a year ago, when they had first met. Quite a shame; he had respected the Sith'ari for his cold, calculating self. Even if he still possessed that side, it was clear that waiting was no longer his intention. Quite a shame indeed. He made sure to keep these thoughts hidden, however. There was no point in coming this far just to face death. It was a shame that the little games that he enjoyed entertaining with former superiors would not be worth much outside of combat here.
"I am offering my skills, my crew, and my ship."
He paused for a moment before continuing.
"I am offering to join your ranks."

And there is was. The valuable initiative that he had been waiting for. Now that the Chiss had revealed what he wanted, the Zabrak could reveal both what he needed and what he could offer the Chiss in return for his services and his loyalty. Rising from his seat and making his way forward, towards the impeccably dressed Chiss, he began speaking."The heart of the matter. Your crew and your ship are inconsequential at this time. You, however, are a valuable asset. One that, given the proper tools, could accomplish a great many things..."Motioning for the Chiss to walk with him, he folded his hands behind his back as they made their way over to the north wall. A golden, engraving adorned the wall, however, it split apart upon the Sith'ari's approach, revealing a map of the galaxy. Certain planets; Roon, Pzob, Mustafar, Sullust and several others, were highlighted and marked with the Blackguard's insignia. Motioning to the map as they approached, the Zabrak spoke."I have managed to accomplish a great deal, since last we spoke. And I can accomplish a lot more...tell me, Vlusu, what would you see accomplished, had you the power...?"The Zabrak posed the question, both out of curiosity and wanting to see how the Chiss would answer.

Vlusu carefully analyzed the map. The territories in question were very nicely laid out in terms of structure; no isolated systems, no systems that could easily be attacked by the First Order without some fast reactionary force arriving to bolster reinforcements. The First Order, at this moment in time, was simply too powerful to tackle in a head-on manner. While the Sith were not known for not using large shows of power, there was simply no other way than to utilise less conventional means of warfare. And he had just the sort of plan for this in mind. “Well, it is evident that a direct assault would be suicide. However, I believe that their weakness lies in their strength; their size. They have spread themselves over too much space to provide effective countermeasures to small-scale attacks. This leaves supply convoys often lightly guarded, as currently, all First Order efforts are concentrated on the Galactic Alliance, and other potential threats. However, small raiding parties would be highly effective in disrupting both military and civilian supply convoys, which would in turn lead to a serious compromise in the effectiveness of their forces.”

As the Chiss demonstrated his tactical brilliance, the Zabrak grinned. The First Order was powerful. Legions upon legions of soldiers. Fleets of warship of the highest quality. A dozen or so Imperial Knights and the sect of Ren. And Nicademus had kept them unified and strong. No easy task, considering the state the galaxy had been in when he started out. But Vlusu was correct in his assumption. Given their size, the First Order was powerful. The recent events over Mon Calamari had proven that. An Imperial Armada larger than anything he had ever witness had annihilated the remains of the Galactic Alliance in one fell swoop. Impressive, to be sure. The strategist in him admired their tactics. But the Sith in him knew that he couldn't take them head on and win. And Vlusu had nailed his intentions right on the head. Whittle the First Order away with bug bites. Wear it down and disrupt supply chains. Still grinning, the Zabrak spoke.
"Indeed. You have outlined what I intend to do oh so eloquently. The First Order is much too powerful to take on in a direct assault. And while we'd succeed much further than anyone else, it would still end in failure. And that cannot be allowed to happen. I haven't worked this hard, uniting the Sith and other dark siders in the galaxy to fall short now. No. A guerrilla style hit and run warfare will be much more effective..."
Trailing off for a moment, bringing his right hand to his chin in quiet contemplation, the Zabrak eyed up the Chiss beside him.
"I have a proposition for you, if you are interested...?"
