The Biker Scout that Vashity fires her blaster at is killed instantly by the well aimed bolt that hits the back of his helmet, and tumbles off of his speeder bike a moment before it slams into a tree and explodes. The second Biker Scout, reacting to the unmistakable sound of blaster fire accompanying Vashity's attack, leans to his right to peer over his shoulder, the movement fortunately altering his position enough that the cannon fire meant to hit him in the back instead tears into his left side.
The second Biker Scout manages to keep his speeder under control as he leans further to the right to begin weaving to dodge any additional cannon fire, and reaches down to draw his EC-17 hold-out blaster from its holster. Straightening up briefly once he has seen that the terrain ahead is clear for at least a moment, the Biker Scout winces as he pivots to fire a pair of shots at Vashity's center mass.
@ Berdine
The Alliance anti-armor specialist's rocket destroys the First Order assault tank that had been firing on Berdine and Alliance troopers in an attempt to distract them from the pair of First Order assault tanks maneuvering to flank the Alliance troops. The Stormtroopers that find themselves under attack from Berdine and the troops accompanying her do their best to hold their ground, those that survive the initial clash beginning a fighting withdrawal as they attempt to reform into fireteams, two of which are ordered to hold their position to try and cover the retreat. One of the fireteams focuses their fire on Berdine in an attempt to remove the Jedi from the equation, while the other concentrates their fire on the Alliance troops.
The First Order assault tanks that had been maneuvering to flank the Alliance troops are about to open fire on the enemy from behind when the LAATs arrive overhead and rain down a deadly storm of cannon and laser fire that destroys both tanks and effectively turns the tide of this particular battle firmly in the Alliance's favor. The surviving First Order tanks maneuver to cover the retreat of the embattled remaining Stromtroopers, three of the tanks monitoring the flight of the LAATs so that they can be ready to engage them if they circle around for another attack run.
@ Arduino
The commander of the First Order's tank company that has engaged Arduino and the Alliance troops he accompanies knows that it has fallen to him to ensure that the First Order forces nearer to the capital are not flanked by the Alliance troopers that he and his troops have encountered, and so, even as two of his tanks and many of the Stormtroopers under his command fall to the enemy, he does not waver in his resolve to hold his position.
Ordering his remaining tanks and Stormtroopers to hold their ground, remaining in line formations so that they can focus maximum fire on the enemy, the First Order tank company commander uses the information from his AT-STs and Biker Scouts relay to him to more effectively direct the fire and maneuvering of his troops.
One of the Biker Scouts reporting in on the Alliance's movements, having noted the presence of a Jedi on the battlefield, sights in on the back of Arduino's head with her E-11s sniper rifle and, when she has her target and Arduino pauses in his advance, fires the shot.

Vashity cannot help but admire the wounded Biker Scout's tenacity and resolve as he turns and opens fire on her instead of trying to run. Holstering her sidearm while banking to avoid the blaster fire, Vashity finds that she needs to focus entirely on controlling the bike's path while dodging the Scout Trooper's fire for several moments instead of trying to return that fire. When the Scout needs to turn to the front again to avoid crashing, Vashity speeds her bike up and brings it directly behind the Scout Trooper's bike before firing her blaster cannon repeatedly at the rear of the Scout's speeder bike to try and destroy it.
The first of the three Alliance scouts that are unfortunate enough to have drawn the attention of the Knight of Ren stalking Vashity to fall does not even realize that he and his comrades are in danger before the humming red lightsaber ends his life. The second Alliance scout has time to turn towards the sound of his comrade being cut down, and sees the black cloaked Knight of Ren that slays him. The third Alliance scout has sufficient warning to bring his blaster rifle to his shoulder and fire a pair of panicked shots at the Knight of Ren.

Ducking and stepping swiftly to her left, Katsumi evades the blaster bolts the last of the Alliance troopers fires at her. Instead of hitting her, the blaster bolts burn two new holes in her already tattered robes, the robes whispering silkenly as they rustle in the air while she lunges forward to close the distance between her and the Alliance trooper. Pivoting as she rises up when in front of the trooper, Katsumi uses her left shoulder to knock his rifle aside so that she can plunge her lightsaber into his heart.
Wasting no more time than necessary so that her true prey does not get further and further away, Katsumi unignites her lightsaber so that the trooper crumples to the ground at her feet and then turns to make her way to the speeder bikes the Alliance troopers have nearby. Lifting her masked face towards the sky like some beast of prey attempting to catch a scent, Katsumi uses the Force to locate the presence she has been seeking.
A moment later, Katsumi's tattered robes rustle and whisper in the wind once more as the speeder bike races towards Edethor, the distance between her and her quarry bleeding further and further away all the while . . .

Niall nods, moving in a crouch to the side of the building forming one side of the alley and then, motioning for Tadgh to cover him, shoulders his rifle and swivels to face the alley, dropping to a knee as he sweeps his rifle from one side of the alley to the other while searching for the trooper, his finger on the trigger and ready to fire if he spots the enemy soldier.
Cionaodh, leaving cover once the enemy fire has ceased for a moment, spots the wounded RDF trooper behind the speeder on his buy'ce's HUD after swfitching his sensors to detect lifeforms and, running forward for a few paces, fires his jetpack's thrusters to take him up into the air and over the vehicle. Pivoting to turn to face the side of the speeder the wounded enemy trooper has sought cover behind, Cionaodh aims and fires a quick shot from his blaster rifle at the trooper's head.
Instructing Jedrzej and Ksenia to hold their position and watch for any additional RDF troop movements in the immediate vicinity of the shield generator, Zdsislaw and Toiréasa move quickly for the front entrance of the building the remaining RDF troopers have gone to try and hold the shield generator, waiting behind cover for Cionaodh and his team to join them after dealing with the last of the RDF troopers outside of the building.
The wounded RDF trooper that went to cover behind an abandoned airspeeder hears the sound of Cionaodh's jetpack firing and sights in on the Mandalorian as he flies overhead, managing to fire a burst from his blaster rifle before the Mandalorian kills him with a well aimed shot to the head.
Within the shield generator building, the RDF trooper that has assumed command of the diminished force that had been tasked with protecting the city's shield generator comms for reinforcements as he and his fellow troopers wait for the Mandalorians to attempt to breach the building. Several blocks away, a RDF platoon assigns three fireteams to begin moving quickly through the nearly silent city streets for the shield generator to try and aid the remains of the platoon that currently holds the building.The Stormtroopers that find themselves under attack from Berdine and the troops accompanying her do their best to hold their ground, those that survive the initial clash beginning a fighting withdrawal as they attempt to reform into fireteams, two of which are ordered to hold their position to try and cover the retreat. No cheers are heard when it is clear that the Alliance has won this particular engagement, for they all know that the day's fighting is not yet done, nor is victory certain. Enemy tanks burn, fallen Stormtroopers and Alliance soldiers alike scattered about the field of battle as Berdine hears the order for the unit she has been fighting with to mount up, and she helps an Alliance trooper carrying a wounded comrade to one of the Alliance tanks that has survived the battle. One third of the Alliance force, assisted by the LAATs that circle around for a second attack run, continues to engage the retreating enemy, while the remaining two thirds resume their advance for the capital city.
Using the lull in the fighting as they press on for the capital to tend to the wounded that ride the tank she had mounted, Berdine pushes past her exhaustion to work with the Force to heal those she can to the best of her abilities, comforting those that are beyond her abilities to treat in their final moments. |

Niall staggers a few steps backwards as a few bolts from the enemy trooper's blaster fire impact against the armored plates of his beskar'gam, causing his own return fire to go astray and hit the wall of the alley rather than the trooper. Tadgh, taking advantage of the fact that the enemy trooper appears to have overlooked his presence, takes the time to aim for the trooper's head before firing a single blaster bolt that drops the trooper.
Tion'kadala? Tadhg asks Niall once the enemy trooper has crumpled to the ground.
Naas, Niall answers with a shake of his head after he checks himself over to make sure that his armor is all that was damaged by the enemy trooper's fire.
Oya! Cionaodh, joining the two after he has dealt with the other remaining RDF soldier outside of the building, says impatiently while motioning for them to form up on him. Leading the way to where Zdzislaw is waiting for them at the front entrance of the shield generator building, Cionaodh checks his blaster rifle and other weapons over, reloading his rocket launcher as they join their Ruus'alor and listen as he explains his plan for how they will assault the building.
Once Cionaodh and his team have arrived, Zdzislaw contacts Berach and Abiageal, waiting in the position on the roof of the building, to let them know the time has come to begin their assault. Lifting his hand to count down to the attack, Zdzislaw kicks the doors open when the countdown is concluded, immediately stepping aside to elude any of the inevitable enemy fire that will greet the opening of the doors.
Cionaodh, tossing a smoke grenade around the corner of the open doors, waits for a few seconds after he hears it explode to allow the obscuring cloud of smoke to expand and then charges through the doors using his buy'ce's sensors to target any enemy troopers to his eleven to one o'clock despite the smoke. After Cionaodh has entered the building and opened fire, Zdzislaw and Toiréasa follow on the Bimm's right side and cover the team's one to three o'clock, with Tadhg and Niall entering on Cionaodh's left and covering the team's nine to eleven o'clock.
As their companions make their intentionally loud entrance on the ground floor, Berach and Abiageal make their own more stealthy entrance from the roof. Spotting the troopers that had been positioned on the upper walkways not long after making their way inside, Berach and Abiageal open fire on them, hoping to take advantage of the fact that their attention is almost certainly on the fighting that has broken out on the ground floor.

Spotting, or believing that he spots what seems to be enemy movement ahead of where he has just finished engaging a Stormtrooper held point on the battlefield, Arduino moves to his left and crouches while lifting his blaster rifle to use its scope to get a clearer view on the area he saw, or thought he saw, movement. The blaster bolt that the First Order scout trooper fires at his head hits Arduino instead in the right ear, burning the ear off almost completely.
Groaning and clapping a hand to what little remains of his ear, Arduino hisses in pain as his hand makes contact with the burned flesh, all sounds of the battle going on seeming to fade to a dull, muted roar accompanied by a high pitched buzzing noise. Arduino does not hear all of what an Alliance trooper says to him as she shoves him down, but he gives her a thumbs up after catching enough of what she says to understand that he was targeted by a sniper and probably owes her him life since the sniper's second shot at him was spoiled when he was shoved down. The Alliance trooper quickly and sloppily slaps a field dressing on his ear, and Arduino has no time to thank her as they both hear the order that is issued at that moment for the Alliance forces to press their attack on the First Order's position. Rising along with the troopers forming up nearby, Arduino lifts his rifle to his shoulder and joins the advance, sighting in a pair of Stormtroopers that pop up from cover and firing a burst of fire at each.
Behind the Alliance troopers, the surviving AT-TEs fire on the enemy troopers and their positions to impair their ability to counter the advance of the Alliance troopers as they surge forward to try and wrest control of the battleground from the First Order.

One of the RDF troopers on the ground floor tosses a thermal detonator towards the doorway while his comrades open fire, spraying the area in front of the door with blaster bolts from three different angles of fire. Three of troopers are behind a barricade directly facing the doorway, with two troopers behind a barricade slightly ahead of it, angled to enable them to work with the final two troopers positioned in a barricade across from their to capture the Mandalorians entering the building in a crossfire.
As the detonator goes off on the floor below, adding to the hellish din and smoke filled air, two of the RDF troopers on the walkways are killed by the Mandalorians that came in through the roof. The remaining three troopers, spread out on the walkways, as their fallen comrades had been, rather than clustered in one position, turn and fire on the Mandalorians, one targeting Berach from the Mandalorian's 8 o'clock, the other two focusing their fire on Abiageal from her 2 and 5 o'clock. . . |

The trooper that rises from cover to throw the thermal detonator is targeted by Cionaodh, who spots the movement on his HUDs sensors despite the smoke filling the air. As he opens fire on the trooper while running forward, Cionaodh calls out a warning to the others over their linked buy'ce comms, Detonator!! Fall back!
Cionaodh's warning is issued before Toiréasa and Niall follow their comrades into the building, though it comes too late for Zdsislaw and Tadhg, who only have time to turn back after entering and make a mad dash back outside. The detonator goes off behind Cionaodh as he charges forward through the smoke, firing his blaster rifle wildly to spray the room from one side to the other as he is lifting his right arm and firing an ant-personnel rocket at the enemy position where the trooper that threw the detonator had appeared. Thrown off his feet by the concussive wave of the detonator's explosion behind him after the rocket he sends towards the enemy is away, Cionaodh feels shrapnel tear into his legs and back as he is pitched forward and then tumbles painfully to the ground.
The debris thrown into the air by the detonator's explosion are still pattering to the ground when Zdzislaw, bleeding from his left upper arm where shrapnel from the blast ripped through his flightsuit where his beskar'gam does not protect him, and the others charge through the ruins of the front entrance and begin to fire on the RDF troopers, their sensors enabling them to do so with added precision despite the smoke and debris filling the air.
Toiréasa, firing all the while, moves to where Cionaodh, badly wounded but still alive, lays on the ground and then takes a knee beside him, sighting in on another RDF trooper and firing as she says into her buy'ce's internal comm, Cionaodh looks hurt pretty bad, Berach. Might want to get down here stat.
Berach, pivoting to take aim on the RDF trooper that fired on him, narrowly missing his target, fires a trio of shots at the trooper as he says, Roger. On my way.
Abiageal, staggering backwards as enemy blaster fire impacts painfully against her beskar'gam's breastplate in two different places, drops into a crouch and sweeps her blaster rifle towards the direction the first blaster bolt came from as she says to Berach, Go! I'll cover you! After firing at her first target, Abiageal rises up enough to move to cover behind a barrel of some kind, firing a quick burst of fire at the other trooper that had targeted her as she runs towards the barrel.

The Biker Scout manages to evade the first few bursts of cannon fire the Jedi fires at him, but is killed when the next hits the rear of his speeder bike, freeing Vashity to continue on towards Edethor unimpeded.
@ Berdine
The Alliance forces with Berdine will encounter no additional resistance until they near the capital city, where additional First Order tanks and Stormtroopers are waiting for word from the Mandalorians that the city's shield has been disabled. To the rear of the First Order forces between the Alliance forces with Berdine, Biker Scouts and AT-STs patrol, watching for any sign of the approaching Alliance forces.
@ Arduino
Determined not to allow the Alliance forces they have been engaged with to flank the First Order forces nearer to the capital waiting to advance once the city's shields are down, the commander of the tank company continues to use the information his Biker Scouts and AT-STs relay to him to move his troops and tanks to meet and counter the enemy advance.

Vashity leans to the left to take her bike away from any danger the debris from the speeder bike she has shot down might present to her or her bike. Glancing over her shoulder, a furrow deepening between her brows as she feels the hair on back of her neck stand up to accompany the sudden feeling that danger is approaching from behind, Vashity searches for anything that might explain the sense that she is in danger. Facing the front in time to bank to avoid crashing into a tree, having seen nothing to explain the feeling of being in imminent peril, Vashity frowns and leans over more as she pushes the bike to its highest speed to try and outrace what, or who, ever she has sensed drawing closer behind her.
Slowing down somewhat as she spots the city ahead in the distance, Vashity watches and attends to what the Force might reveal to her as she cautiously continues on towards the capital city. With any luck, Vashity thinks, it is Rendili's Defense Force that she will encounter before reaching the city, and not the First Order's invading forces.

The RDF troopers on the upper walkways fare no better, Abiageal and Berach's assault bringing an end to all three of the troops, one who tumbles off of the walkway to crash on the floor below after Abiageal gets lucky with her firing while she gets to cover behind a barrel.
Silence, replacing the sound of blaster bolts and explosions that accompanied the last stand of the RDF platoon defending the shield generator, comes over the interior of the building after the trooper's body hits the ground floor with a sickening thud.The Alliance forces with Berdine will encounter no additional resistance until they near the capital city, where additional First Order tanks and Stormtroopers are waiting for word from the Mandalorians that the city's shield has been disabled. Using the coordinates relayed by their scouts, one of the Alliance tanks fires on the AT-ST that has been sighted as the battle group begins to advance at a slightly slower pace so that they can respond to any additional intel relayed by the scouts once the AT-ST has been destroyed. |

Katsumi sights her prey at long last as both she and her prey are approaching the outskirts of Edethor. Having skirted around the edges of battles being waged, or when the Force alerted her in time to avoid them, battles yet to be waged, on her way to the city, Katsumi can hear and sense even now as the city grows nearer and nearer the sounds of battles being fought in and near the city she and her prey are nearing, and knows that if she is to have her prey all to herself to play with before disposing of, she will need to prevent her prey from scurrying into the city, no doubt to help the erstwhile defenders of this world make their futile stand against the fingers of the fist about to wrap around the world.
Lifting her left hand from the handle of the speeder bike, Katsumi focuses on the back of her prey and then closes the fingers of the hand into a fist while pulling it back towards her chest, telekinetically grasping her prey to try and pull her off of the speeding speeder bike she races towards the city atop of. . .

Feeling the hair at the back of her neck stand up, the adrenaline that accompanies a premonitory warning via the Force causing the response, Vashity is turning to scan for whatever danger the Force is warning her of when she feels herself pulled from her bike.
Her training enabling her to keep from freezing up even though she feels her heart leap up into her throat as she begins to fall as the bike continues on without her, Vashity uses her command of the Force to control her fall, succeeding in doing so enough to prevent any limbs from breaking as she tumbles to the ground and rolls or slides several feet before coming to a halt. Knowing that whoever tore her off of the bike is not likely to give her long to recover, Vashity dizzily spins around to face the opposite direction she had been heading, reaching for the blaster rifle slung over her back, lifting it to her shoulder, and firing at the dark robed figure on the speeder bike she sees coming towards her.

Having sent the prearranged encrypted signal to the First Order's fleet commander when Abiageal reported a moment ago that she had succeeded in taking the shield generator offline, Zdzislaw says, ::Already done.::
From their position atop a tall building south of the shield generator, Jedrzej and Ksenia take aim for the lead troops of two of the fireteams advancing for the shield generator, firing for their heads simultaneously. Not waiting for the results of their opening attacks, Jedrzej and Ksenia begin taking aim for their next targets. |

Katsumi aims the speeder bike for her prey, adjusting her course as the woman, clearly a Force user, is pulled from her bike and manages to avoid death or injury from the resultant fall. Abandoning her speeder bike as, with it on course for her prey as she pluckily fires her blaster rifle after recovering from her fall, Katsumi throws herself to her left side, acrobatically flipping from the speeding bike while calling on the Force to enhance her own athleticism.
Landing, cat like, on her feet, Katsumi's filthy, tattered robes flutter fitfully as, with the Force lending her even greater speed than her constant training and conditioning have given her possession of, she begins charging towards her prey, who has almost certainly avoided the speeder bike which was bound for her position, reaching for her lightsaber hilt while dodging any blaster fire the woman may choose to send her way with the Force to warn and guide her steps as she closes the distance between them. Igniting her blood red lightsaber as she nears her prey, Katsumi lifts it overhead and swings it down to try and cut the blaster rifle's barrel from it, unable to resist the urge to first play a while with her prey before killing her. . .

Lieutenant Colonel Kuhn, receiving word at last that the Mandalorians have taken down the city shield that has thusfar protected the capital, gives the order for her troops to advance on Edethor and engage any enemy forces that choose to stand between them and their goal. Minus the tank company that Kuhn had sent to meet the Alliance forces advancing on their flank, the battalion of armored division Stormtroopers and the tanks supporting them surges forward after Kuhn's order has been given.

Stormtroopers, advancing in line formation so that they have maximum firepower to their front while using the bounding overwatch tactic with additional covering fire being provided by the assault tanks they had dismounted from, surge from their covered positions after the MSG tanks have engaged the enemy, rushing towards the capital like the fingers of a hand closing around an object soon to be taken captive within their grip.

Determined not to allow the Alliance forces they have been engaged with to flank the First Order forces nearer to the capital waiting to advance once the city's shields are down, the commander of the tank company continues to use the information his Biker Scouts and AT-STs relay to him to move his troops and tanks to meet and counter the enemy advance.
The best he can hope for now, Wrotny accepts, is to keep the force they have engaged from joining the larger force that is moving on the capital city. Ordering his men to dig in, with those tanks that have survived maneuvering from the front lines to fall back and move for defensible positions enabling them to support the ground troops that, having halted their advance, begin to harass the First Order force that has stood firm against their advance.
Arduino, weary and wounded though he is, fights on alongside the diminished Alliance battlegroup, staying where the fighting is most intense in an attempt to bolster the morale of the Alliance troopers. |

Vashity grinds her teeth in frustration as, after rolling to her right to avoid being hit with the speeder bike the dark robed figure had sent flying towards her, she rises to a knee and tries to draw a bead on the blurred form that is not surprisingly dashing right for her, firing four shots from her blaster rifle and watching as each and every one fails to meet its intended target, the darksider proving to be too quick, too agile, and either too lucky or too skilled to be taken out so easily
Vashity lets the blaster rifle, useless after its barrel has been cleanly cut off by the red saber of the dark robed figure, fall and hang from its sling as, infusing her movements with Force assisted speed, she becomes a blur herself as she rises from her crouch and weaves to her right while reaching with her right hand for her lightsaber hilt. Taking a large step forward to bring herself onto the Knight of Ren's right side, Vashity brings her left hand to her lightsaber hilt so that she has it in a two-handed grip as she lifts it up and, lifting her left foot onto its toes, slides the foot around to try and get behind the Knight of Ren, igniting her lightsaber's blue blade only once her arms are fully extended. Swinging her arms down towards the Kinght of Ren's right shoulder, Vashity hopes to sever the woman's arm in order to end the battle swiftly and non-lethally. . .

From their position atop a tall building south of the shield generator, Jedrzej and Ksenia take aim for the lead troops of two of the fireteams advancing for the shield generator, firing for their heads simultaneously. Not waiting for the results of their opening attacks, Jedrzej and Ksenia begin taking aim for their next targets.
The leader of the third RDF fireteam, tracking the path of the blaster bolts that follow the initial attack, orders the surviving members of the lead fireteams to lay down suppressing fire as he and his team, familiar with the layout of the city, head down an alleyway that will take them onto a street that will ultimately take them north of the sniper's position and ideally enable them to flank the sniper team while they are occupied with the other fireteams. . . Hopping down from the tank she and the platoon she has been fighting with had been mounted on, Berdine tightens her grip on her saberstaff hilt as she looks upon the battle being waged and feels any hope she had harbored that they might be able to keep the First Order from putting their boot upon the neck of yet another world falter. The smaller RDF force, spread thin to try and block as many avenues into the capital city as possible, has begun to retreat into the capital in many areas, clearly hoping to capitalize on their greater knowledge of the city's layout, but the Stormtroopers and tanks supporting them have nearly breached the capital, no longer protected by the city shield.
One of the Alliance soldiers claps Berdine on the shoulder, who had been trying to keep up with the various orders and bits of chatter from the troopers and their commanding officers nearest to her, when his platoon begins to advance. Berdine summons a confident smile for the Alliance soldier, who looks too young to her to be a soldier, and follows as the Alliance force begins its assault on the First Order's right flank.
As the Alliance ground troops, charging behind the tanks that have begun to advance while firing on the First Order tanks and troops ahead of them, begin their assault on the enemy's flank, a squadron of LAAT's scream past over their heads, firing down on the First Order forces with laser cannons and rockets . . . |

Lieutenant colonel Vreni Kuhn slams a fist down on her thigh as the damage reports come in from her tank company commanders hardest hit by the LAAT airstrike, and then orders the commanding officers of two of her tank platoons, stationed furthest from the First Order's front lines where the intensity of the fighting might hinder their efforts to carry out her orders, to ready themselves to target the Alliance LAATs should they circle back for a second attack.
The tank company commanders on the front lines of the First Order's forces, just outside of the city, maneuver into herringbone formations to establish all around security as they engage the RDF forces standing between them and their objectives. Stormtroopers, under cover from their assault tank MSG platoons, move in wedge formations, providing support or suppressing fire for one another as they engage the capital's defenders.
As Kuhn's forces press their assault, the heavy turbolaser fire from the Kunigunde begins to rain down from orbit onto the position Alliance forces attacking Kuhn's right flank.
