Life was finally back to some semblance of normalcy for the citizens of Edethor, and indeed most of Rendili had recovered completely from the YV invasion and the terrorist bombing. Crime was actually down, with the economy on the rise, due the necessary reconstruction which was quickly followed by expansion as the GR placed orders for ships to build up its meager fleets in response to the mando declaration of war. Employment was up, the economy was gaining speed in an upward spiral, and all in all the people were content. They were well protected, and they knew that they would prosper indirectly as the barbaric mando's were beaten back to their home world.

Bat flew down the straight and narrow, he kept his guns off and even the shield down. He wanted to appear inconspicuous on this world that was so used to attacks. Setting his ship down Masterson pushed down the lever for the ramp and walked off, heading towards the deck hand he flashed the man 100 credits. The normal docking fee was of course 50 credits but this was a bribe; and living in the Republic left everyone in some sort of power could be bribed.
Turning around he tromped towards his ship where he would painstakingly put on his armour and check to make sure it was all fully loaded. Walking out the door again the ship let out a small electric pulse on the ramp that caused his armour to become invisible. Walking out the landing pads, Bat made his way into the crowd where he would walk slowly through it all near the edge. Occasionally someone would bump into him making them look around but for the most part he went unnoticed.
For most of the day this went on as he scouted the city, only stopping once to have a bite of eat of some stolen food and having on of his deathsticks. The rest were on his ship, while on mission he couldnt afford to be suffering from any signs of withdrawal and this would stem the tide. Finally after hours of searching he came across the building that was the work office of his target. The building for the senator, using the armours powered stuff he made his way to the roof and climbed in through a door on the top. Once inside the ornate building Bat found the room of his desire.
Finding the holocomputer he stuck in a datachip that he had won in a game of Pazzak that would be able to crack the password on most computers in a few seconds. Looking at the blue screen as it came on he flipped through most of the crap, some of it was important to the Republic but thankfully he didnt give a flying fuck about the secret affairs of the galactic power. All he wanted was the personal files; just as he found them he heard the door opening he covered it up and was prepared to fight something.
Thankfully it was just a cleaner who had little interest in cleaning and he just swept the floor before leaving. Going back to it, Bat found what he needed. A personal address. Shutting the whole thing down, Masterson left as he entered through the top level, this time though he jumped down the armour saving him from breaking his legs from the three story fall.
Hoping on a hover bus Masterson took it to the general area where he was going before sneaking off to enter the house which may or may not be guarded.

The dock hand looked at the extra credits, and felt his blood begin to boil, his cousin had been killed in the recent bombing and, while unproven, popular theory had it that the terrorists had bribed the base security to look the other way while they planted the bomb. Making a snap decision the hand marched off to find his supervisor, who listened carefully, and passed the account on up the line, soon, about an hour after it had landed, port security had moved in and locked down the landing bay. Once that was done, they began carefully searching the ship for contraband.
Mean while, at the personal residence of Senator Budi Darma, which was lightly guarded, it was just another dull day. Had the senator been home, the guards would have been more alert, and more numerous, but as it was, a skeleton crew kept watch over the grounds, trusting the automated turrets to deter interlopers. The turrets used a combination of thermal and EM signatures to ID targets. The guards, which spent their time in the guard room watching the many security cam displays, each had a small pendant that changed their EM signatures enough to be considered friendly to the turrets. At the moment, four of them were on duty, three watching the cam feeds, one making more stim-caf. The turrets are placed at major conjunctions, such as hall ways and foyers, and sporadically along the top of the estate walls, concealed in decorative crenellations carved on the outside to show a face of one of the many preceding senators of Rendili.

Despite the fact that his ship was common amoung thieves and pirates there was very little on it that could be used against him. Bat had taken all of the more incriminating stuff with him; weapons armour and so on. One thing that was left out in the open were deathsticks though, being a Balosar he could smoke the things and not die however it did nothing for the addictive properties. Besides the contraband drugs there were a few loose rounds for slugthrowers and a holoproject full of racy photos of different species.
Walking along the roofs of nearby buildings his eyes looking for any opening, this was a very well protected senator by the looks of it. Weapon emplacements everywhere, some guards but not a whole lot. You would think on such a world that kept being hit by crime there would be more but maybe they were slow. The thought never occured to him that he was not there. So he did the next best thing, recently on Dressel he had bought some bombs. Cluster bombs, they would blow up having a blast radius of up to 100 meters followed by a plethora of smaller explosions that would go boom after a few minutes. He set down one such bomb about 10 centimeters in length on the roof and moved to the other side of the complex OUTSIDE the walls. The suit still on he hoped that the methods used to keep it from overheating were in place. You see much like Mist; the one who made the armour famous, his had been modified to keep the armour and everything covered by it at the same temp as the round outside as well as a few weapons and sight things.
Getting to a safe position far enough away he waited for the 5 minute timer on the two to run out. There would be a three minute delay before the one blew up before the other, so as to make shit really get exciting. Sure it could draw in more people but it would make things hectic and hopefully give him enough time to kill his target.

The facility was rather understaffed for a world so recently assaulted, but it's primary defense wasn't the turrets or guards, but it's walls. Neither the guards or the turrets were able to ID the intruder, though one of the turrets caught his EM(electro-magnetic) signature, and raised a flag in the command center. The guards investigated the flag, via several of the many security cams, and seeing nothing decided it was just a glitch and dismissed the flag. The outer walls and roof, were really just a cover, built over and around the armored walls and roof of that were thick enough to absorb a turbolaser strike. When the bombs went off, much to the surprise and chagrin of the guards, the initial blasts did little beside spreading their secondary charges, while the secondary blasts tore off much of the decorative roofing, revealing the armored structure beneath it.
The guards pulled up the last flag and set all turrets to shoot that EM signature on "sight," while the head guard called in the bombing and fresh guards. A low grinding noise announces the opening of the attached garage doors five minutes after the last explosions. Three ISP's race out to secure the facilities perimeter, each taking a position just out side the Mansion's walls facing the outer wall, scanning for the same EM signature that the turrets were searching for. Behind them floats out an RX-200 which takes up a position in front of the the Mansion's front steps, guarding the main approach and watching for any signs of an intruder.

The bombs were not meant to blow up the house, no they were actually meant to draw attention to the place. As the first building exploded sending out its dangerous secondary payload some of it did hit the senators house. Most of it though went out towards the general publics side of things killing people left right and center. Sending bits of building crumbling bodies everywhere the injured ran around looking for a way to escape the mass explosion. Arriving on the scene fairly fast law enforcement and paramedics where met with the second explosion which went off moments before they arrived. Killing even more, hopefully even taking out four vehicles that had come out on the first explosion.
The streets around the house were now in full panic mode everyone running everywhere with no real sense of order. Hopefully with this distraction Bartholomew would be able to sneak in, when all the turrets on the outer perimiter were all busy targeting the people running this way and that or if he was really lucky cross into the courtyard where both the weapons and cameras were damaged.

The four vehicles sit in there positions, waiting and watching for any sign of the being that had caused the detonation. The turret controller switched the turrets to passive mode, as the crowds outside began running about and making a general mob about getting away from the blast. The chief of Security called local police, informing them of the situation and warning them that the perpetrator was probably using some kind of cloaking device, since the camera's hadn't seen anything before the blast.
Meanwhile the port authorities had found the highly illegal drugs on the suspicious ship, and impounded it promptly. They locked down the landing bay, sealing all entrances, and posting a small security contingency outside its main entrance. The deck hand did his best to describe the man to authorities, but he had very little to offer in the way of identifying marks. The authorities put out a warrant anyway, hoping they might get lucky.
The since the turrets were on passive mode, they didn't catch the sneaking Bartholomew as he moved into the compound. The vehicle were still actively searching for an intruder, but a clever man might avoid them, if he were careful. Behind the vehicles, the garage door closed, blast doors slid down behind windows, and doors were locked and protected by invisible ray shields.

Now this is where it got tricky, he did not really know the layout of the building so he did what seemed like the most sense, he would start from the top floor down. It was a tall building, and Mastersons suit did have some limited amount power to it which would aid him in a jump but not all the way to the top. So rather he jumped onto the wall, then jumped the distance into a window that was pretty well smashed up. If someone had been looking they would have found it odd that the glass shattered after the explosions and went inside. Of course if someone was looking it would probably just seem like an odd occurrence IF bombs had not recently gone all explody.
Inside the building now Bartholomew held his arm close to where he kept his shotgun hidden within the armour just in case he needed to shoot someone. Turning around a corner he came across a guard that had his back turned to him.

The guard was completely oblivious to the intruder and continued on his patrol. While the senator was away guards only patrolled the complex every other hour, and then it was more just to be sure that no-one had broken in, or tampered with any of the doors. The guard had already checked the room through which Barclay had entered and it would be two hours before anyone else came by on a routine round and notice the broken window.
Most of the upper floor was state rooms, used to house guests of the senator while he resided on Rendili, the next floor was the private library, dining hall, foyer, parlor, vehicle garage, kitchen, pantry, and "home office" of the senator. Down in the basement was security, laundry, heating and cooling systems, shield generator, hyper comm transceiver, maintenance garage, even a wine cellar. A secret door, hidden by a hanging tapestry in the senator's office, led to a small shaft, with hand and foot holds running down the opposite wall, that led to a bunker capable withstanding even direct orbital bombardment for a week. The bunker held provisions for two weeks, a bunk, a fresher and a kitchenette.

It was quiet, to quiet. The outside of the place was in chaos yet the inside seemed quaint. Silent. Almost like a tomb. Despite not meeting any opposition on the top floor or anything weird for the matter Bat still took it slow. In fact things did not really get interesting until he entered the vehicle bay to check things out. He could see where the missing vehicles were, not doubt the ones that were outside looking for him or a bigger threat. But there were still more, the senators personal vehicle was no doubt one of these. Silently he cursed himself for not bringing extra explosives, he could have hooked one up to the bottom to explode when the ship was activated.
Alas that was not to happen. No his main thing that was there that caught his attention was actually a guard in the room who was armed and standing near the door to the exit. If he was going to do this well he might as well be a fucking dick about it. It might be because his mind was feeling the effects of withdraw from the deathsticks or it could be because, he had a taste for blood but he stalked up behind him. Pulling out the Protector revolver it did the opposite of what it was made for. Walking right up behind him Bat would stick the barrel of the blaster into the back of the man and fire the gun. Hopefully the discharge would be muffled enough that it went unheard in the building what with the chaos that was outside and stuff.

The unsuspecting guard is too focused on the events outside to notice the approaching danger, and is quite surprised when the shot rips through his torso. Stunned into silence, the man falls into the wall, sliding slowly down it to the floor, as he bled to death, leaving a smeared trail of red on the wall. The sound echoed slightly in the large garage, but it didn't seem to attract anyone's attention.

As the man fell Masterson couldnt help but smile. He had a craving for three things in this universe. Deathsticks. Money and blood. It seems that he has gotten a taste for it the past couple of years and he doesnt care who it is. Bending down he put the blaster back in its holster and began to rifle through the mans pockets. The way he figured it; there was going to be some security check points or anything that would require a key. Not finding anything in his pockets Bat picked the man up and moved him under a vehicle. Just before the head went under the bottom he saw a glint, it looked like dog tags but was obviously the thing he was looking for.
Tucking it into the same pocket as the revolver he turned around and continued on. Passing through the kitchens he could tell something was cooking off to his left but he did not give a fuck. No he saw a sign that was pointing towards the senators rooming. Praying to his gods Bartholomew walked into the room his hand ready to draw the revolver at a moments notice.

The Senator's room was empty, the furniture covered in dust cloths and obviously not used for quite some time now. The room was spacious, a thick carpet covering the floor, a small couch and low table sat against the left wall, while the right wall was a blank wall, opposite the door was the senator's desk empty and hidden beneath a thin drape cloth, which had a light layer of dust on it.

Motherfucking, shit fuck, balls, Harlas tits! All this for nothing. As Bat walked into the room the first thing he noticed was just how still everything was. He could even see a layer of the dust on some of the things around the room. Now when the senator did come back the jig would be up. He would know that people were gunning for him and things would get ten times harder.
His vision turning red from anger the Balosar needed to take this anger out on someone. So he left the room undisturbed. His destination? The Security room that was no doubt in the house. Having explored the top two levels already he headed down to the basement and there he saw it. A metal door, drawing the sawed off scatter gun he walked slowly there and kicked the door open. If there were two guards in there perfect. His gun held two rounds at a time. If not then he was in for a real fun time.
Seeing the first one however to invisible armoured man pulled the trigger, steel flechets flying from the barrel heading straight towards the man, fanning out over the room to slam into equipment and flesh alike.

The man had only just finished turning around when the flechets tore into him and his console, killing him instantly and rendering the console inoperable for the foreseeable future. His two companions spun with him, drawing their side arms as they went, but paused for a fraction of a second at the apparently empty door frame, before firing at the center of the door, hoping to hit whoever had just kicked in the door. The sound of the door being kicked in caught the attention of the patrolling guard, who was almost directly above the room, and he drew his side arm and ran for the nearest set of stairs, while he called for back up with his free hand, his calls crackling through one of the undamaged consoles in the security room.

Adrenaline flooded through Bats body, he had two shots but there were three people. Fuck. After taking the first shot he tucked around the corner just as shots barked out at where he had been. The shots hitting the wall just beyond the door they ricochet somewhere away from where he was. Peeking around the corner with his gun he shot in between where the two remaining guards were, hoping that the flechets would spread out enough to cut through the two in there.
For now he was blissfully unaware of the person running above them, but he had heard that they needed back up here. Good, he would rip this building down block by block until there was nothing rest and then destroy the people trying to stop him. His anger was way up there, his prey had left him, he only had what was on his back. That and his wits, but they were long gone. Activating the speech part of the suit he spoke for the first time. The Senator is dead, it was an inside job come out now and you will be spared for questioning. Fight and you will be killed.

The two remaining guards moved to opposite sides of the door way, ducking behind intact desks and consoles, so that Barclay's next shot missed both of them, even as it tore through the rest of the room. The flechetes shattering screens, projectors, desks and peppering the far wall. The guards alternately popped up and fired two or three shots into the far edge of the door frame, hoping to at least nick, anyone standing against the wall to either side of the door. They were oddly puzzled by the the beings statement, as they both knew the senator was on Coruscant, and so not likely to have been killed without the entire republic hearing about it. Neither elects to respond to the being's words with anything but more blaster fire.
As the guard from up stairs reaches the bottom of the stairs and hears the systematic firing of his companions coming from the control room he edges slowly around the stairwell's wall hoping to get a glimpse of whatever his fellow guards were targeting. He kept his side arm ready, but hidden behind the wall, as he leaned around the corner to peek down the hall with one eye. He clearly heard the voice of the assailant, who and what ever it was, but he still couldn't see anything, and the being hadn't spoken long enough to get a good fix on it's position, though it seemed to be near the control room.

Bartholomew had ducked around the corner seconds before the two guards open fired. As such the shots harmlessly hit the wall just outside spraying bits of duracrete out small pieces hitting the suit and dropping. It would take a sharp eye for anyone to notice that. His focus on the guards inside Barclay did not see the new guard. Tucking the shotgun back in its casing Barclay turned the corner, as he was invisible he doubted the two would see him. Careful not to step on any of the shards of glass and bits machinery he moved deeper into the room.
Walking so that he was directly behind one of the guards he aimed his left arm at the one on the opposite side of the room and held it straight up. Sliding the revolver out of its casing he pointed the barrel at the back of the mans head. Cursing him to live out the rest of his afterlife in eternal torment he squeezed the trigger down the bullet hopefully going through the mans skull. As this happened Bat signaled for the flamethrower on his left arm to ignite. Spitting out its terrible flame towards the second guard.

Both guards, wait, tensely listening for some sound that would alert them to the enemy's position, but neither notice Barclay move through the room. The guard he stands behind is killed instantly as the bullet goes through his head, the other turns just in time to see a jet of fire engulf him. He dies more slowly his screams of agony reaching the guard down he hall. He sees only a brief flash, and hears the report of the revolver and the crackle-hiss of the flames, beyond his comrade's screams. Knowing he's out matched, he with draws to the foyer area, and slips through the front door. Outside he signals to the men in vehicles that an intruder has made it into the house. Since the senator was away, there were no staff except security on the grounds, and the few security men left, turned their guns on the house, spraying windows and doors with blaster and Ion cannon fire, causing massive electrical surges throughout the building, and causing significant damage to many of the buildings exits, making some of them hazardous to use and blocking a few, though most were merely blasted open, which would make Barclay's exit that much easier, assuming he wasn't hit by a lucky shot from one of the vehicles, or stunned by a shorting control system or screen in the security room should he still be in there by this time.
