Those that choose to call the Coruscant Temple their home are invited to settle into one of the temple's many rooms. The rooms vary in size, but are generally spacious one-room affairs with small ensuite refresher facilities. Some of the rooms have been expanded to two rooms, providing rudimentary social areas, and usually house the Temple's senior Jedi, and members of the Jedi Council. These rooms are often customised by their owners, and it is very rare to see any two rooms looking the same.

Well, here he was...Coruscant...In the Jedi Temple.
Adi looked around the simple room he was allowed to use here in the Temple during his stay. He had thought long and hard about what Master Sont'ir had said, and even in his hung-over state, Matango had heard him...loud and clear. Deciding that he would better serve the cause without the added distraction of the Endo, Adi simply put it away, and found his quarters. Several hours passed since Will had spoken to him, and the Arkanian had heeded the Master's advice. During those six-plus hours, Adi had taken that time to immerse himself in meditation. He reflected on the battle that the Mandalorian spearhead had brought to Yavin IV, the carnage that had been left in the wake of the endless waves of men sent by the bucketheads, along with the friends and allies lost in the fight....
...and the family as well.
Upon arriving on Coruscant, Adi had been presented with the terrible news that one of his own Watchmen....and a close friend....had fallen at the hands of the Mandalorian top dog, Ashrah Intalbo. Dace had been an enemy, a friend, an advisor...but most importantly, Adi respected the man. No matter if he had fallen to the darkside, or embraced the light, Concordia had -always- been a very honorable man.To know that he had been slain at the hands of an overgrown bully with a big army? Not an offense lightly taken. Dace was quite literally related to Adi as well...at least by marriage...and he had known Adi since the Arkanian was a mere youngling.
And now, he was gone.
The Mandalorians were going to find out what happens when the Jedi Knight known as Adieumus Matango put his mind to something. This siege -would- be broken, and the lives on Yavin IV would once again be safe from oppression. Throughout the night, Adieumus continued to ponder these things, along with ways to get the Mandalorians away from Yavin....and before he knew it, Adi was seeing the morning sun creep up over the horizon. Its warming rays shone through the lightly-tinted glass, and a smile crept across the knight's face. He was glad he had room with a view of the morning sun....things always looked brighter in the rays of light shining through, and it gave even more renewed hope to the man.
Finally, Adi rose from his lotus position. He had been meditating for nearly 16 hours now, and he was tired. Sending a message to Master Sont'ir to let him know when the council was ready for him, he laid on the comfortable bed, and was soon fast asleep.

Devlin Dewe walks into room set aside for him.
Both an office and his quarters, it was spartan. Well, when compared to some of the other lavish styles known on Coruscant. The main interior was his office. At the cetner was a desk and a chair. A couch, small table, and a few chairs rested in one corner. A window looked out across Coruscant from the Temple's high vantage. Few adornments littered the room. Mostly paintings of jungles. Distant planets, Felucia, Ossus, Endor's Sanctuary Moon, Yavin IV.
A door sealed away the living chambers. They consisted of a small kitchen, bedroom, and fresher station. Simple luxuries for a simple Jedi. A lone painting hung on the bedroom wall: the ice caves of Ilum. In the kitchen, a hologram of an A-wing rotated slowly on the counter.
Walking into the bedroom, Devlin inhales deeply. Exhaling a calming breath, he kneels on the floor and begins to meditate. Centering himself before the meeting ahead.

Jedi Master Will Son’tir makes to the Master’s Wing of the Residential Wing of historic Jedi Temple on Coruscant. It is a site Will is intimately familiar with having travelled here on several different occasions and made it his residence for several months at a time as he guest lecture and provided tangible lessons through the years as an instructor in combat, philosophy and specific cultural classes on species and prominent members of the galaxy (like the Mon Calamari, the Mandalorians, political actors like the Hapes Consortium or the New Order of the Eye). Will has his own guest quarters the Order has set aside for this prominent master of the Order and frequent flyer of the temple.
Though these quarters were solely his own, it was sparsely decorated and had very little in ways of personal possession. Many who knew the master well knew that he was an unorthodox jedi master who revered his Corellian culture; but none would ever suspect these quarters belonged to any particular jedi master. It wasn’t as if Will was taking painstaking steps to emulate how jedi should live—it was just natural in his lifestyle; he was on the move so often that it made no sense to make a domesticated domicile a home for him. The master’s quarters were usually kept separate based, not on prestige, but on principle; the masters should be kept away from the general population of knights and padawans so as to focus on the Will of the Force and their higher purposes in the Order. The masters’ quarters were distinctly different then the knights’ quarters and the barrack-esque bunks for the padawans. The master’s quarters were larger—and not for the sake of comfort, but because of the wider variety of function. The sleeping cot was the same as all the others in the temple; and the corner was occupied with pillows for meditation, the same as you might find in any of the knights rooms; but the masters quarters were equipped with their own workstations complete with lightsaber components and instruction pads as well as a holoterminal for research and communications to homeworld academies, temples and enclaves. These distractions are often not required for the life of a jedi knight who should be focused on their assignment, training or tutelage of their apprentice.
Master Will Son’tir spent many hours poring over the holoterminal, taking research into current galactic politics; paying close attention to the Mandalorian movements through GR intelligence briefings as well as keeping up to date with the briefings of Dac Defense security as the ongoing investigations of a terrorist cell continues. As Will pored over these reports, he found it hard to focus his mind on what was in front of him; mental fatigue weighed down even the fingers and eyes that he was using to pursue knowledge.
After several hours of research Will felt in pertinent to meditate on these happenings—trying to decipher what it is he needs to do for the Order as part of the will of the Force. Will has always strove to pursue the Force and what the Force requires; at one point Will felt that the Force was not a part of the Jedi’s principles and their pursuits have been singular in nature: self-preservation. Since then, some of what the old Order has come back to its senses and Will has become wiser as the ways of galaxy as well as the will of the Force. Will felt that he was a part of that balance. Some jedi refused to conform to the ways the galaxy thinks and shut themselves into their monasteries; others focus much on being the sword, diviners of defense, the paladins of protection, but do not focus on the philosophies and teachings of the jedi. Will felt that it was more of the balance; to put principle into practice; theory into tangibles.
But how? How can the jedi continue to be principled peacekeepers in an ever-darkening galaxy? The Mandalorians have taken siege of Yavin IV; a gratefully sparse population, but a strategically intrinsic target to takeover; a huge blow for what is predicted to be a much bigger conflict encompassing all Force Users. . . .
Will’s thoughts slow, and dull from conscious coherence to simpler impressions, and his breaths become deeper, his mind more relaxed; his eyes closed and the manifested Force presences of the life around him are all but visible to his eyes. The energy that binds them all becomes simple lines, thicker or brighter for most. Waves and auroras permeate from individuals as smooth currents in time and space. The currents of the Force. Coherent images began to manifest. The forest moon of Yavin IV, the fires burn and the lightsabers hum. A vision of the future, not of the past. The oceans splash, and the rifles blast. The oceans of Mon Calamari. A doom floods, the gargled screams of less than aquarius beings. The ferocious passions of an elevated Master of the Force. The once Prince now Master’s lightsaber move with a blinding fury striking down . . . who? The armor was decidedly Mandalorian.
But the Force’s impressions of Will himself, seem more . . .more. Will seems to be at the center at all of it, but . . . much more . . . centered. Will seems to burn stronger in his own visions . . . of himself then before.
His visions manifested with form of auburn enthusiastic idealist that was Zane Shadolen, Will’s former Apprentice. Zane’s eyes had a familiar conviction in them; the conviction that Will had shared with his Padawan through his training until his knighting on Corellia. Then, Zane’s form steps into the shadows and after a few moments, a new form emerges from those shadows. Strong and stoic, with his own aire of destiny not yet decided; but his arms crossed. His eyes a blue and his hair black not unlike Will’s own. Moses, a padawan he had met on his way off of Mon Calamari who had known the patient there. Left there to meditate and serve their Dacian Enclave . . . the lines connected the lives of Moses and Will himself grew stronger as the vision lingered . . .
Will continued to meditate. . .

A chime sounded in Devlin's quarters.
He inhales deeply and exhales slowly. Opening his eyes he blinks as they adjust to the light. He stands. Stretching out his muscles, he walks to his office and out the door into the corridor.
It was time. The Jedi would soon have a new Master. And a new High Councilor. Though neither were fully aware of their new positions or what it meant for the Order. Or how it would change them in the future...not that anyone could predict that.
Devlin smirks as he remembers one of his favorite sayings from an old Jedi Grand Master.
The future, however, was one thing Devlin wished he could see more clearly.

*Aerandir and Cassie made their way to the residential area, and were shown to a room that had been set aside for them. As a High Councilor, he could have been offered one of the more luxurious rooms, and even had it set aside personally for him whenever he came to Coruscant. But Aerandir had declined the generous offer, preferring one of the more regular one-room quarters. He didn't foresee himself being on Coruscant often anyway, so no use reserving quarters that could see other use.
They were shown inside, and as soon as they were left in peace, Aerandir immediately went about setting a custom keycode for the room, preventing access from anyone who didn't know it. He sat down on the bed, sighing as he turned toward the window. Coruscant was a very boring place to look at, once one was used to the awe of such incredible architecture. Then all one had to think was how awful it was that the entire planet was a city, with little natural wilderness upon it.
Morgan and Michelle would both hate it here.* =Cassie= What's the matter? *He looked up at her, initially surprised she could read him so well so quickly after their marriage, but then he recalled that they'd known each other for years already. That, and the bondage of marriage tended to make the connection between two people stronger as well.* Well, the view sucks for one. *Cassie smiled, moving to sit next to him, wrapping her arms around him. He put an arm around her as she leaned into him, then sighed.* I guess it's the timing. We get married, and Yavin gets hit. Not exactly a good sign. *Cassie looked at him strangely.* =Cassie= I know you're joking, but I'm not sure that's the kind of humor I want to hear. *He chuckled, mumbling an apology, which she shrugged off with a smile. They were silent for a moment, then Aerandir spoke again.* Well, I guess this is your first big Jedi gig, at least with the Jedi of the rest of the galaxy. How're you feeling? *Cassie only shrugged.* =Cassie= More curious than anything. I don't have to really say or do anything, so it's not like there's anything to worry about. *Aerandir chuckled as he rubbed her shoulder.* I suppose so. My first big meeting? Mostly observing, but I did do a little talking. Mostly brought on by myself. But you've got it easy; your husband gets to do all the talking. *They both laughed again. "Husband." Aerandir was still getting used to that word. It was a good word. He had been a father for some time now. It was about time he was a husband. And he had a wife. It was a wonderful feeling.
Unfortunately, the universe was not being wonderful. War had arrived. The Councilors of Yavin were not present. Alive, accounted for, but not present due to the threat of the Mandalorian. They had originally planned to hold this meeting for lighter, happier reasons. Now, things were more dire. They had to formulate a response to this threat, and quickly.
Suddenly, he felt Cassie's fingers dig into his shoulders as he heard her gentle voice.* =Cassie= Relax. I know it's a tough situation right now and all, but you have to stay at ease. Everything will be fine so long as you stay focused. It always has been. The Plague War, the Earth Empire... *She really could read him; he was certain he had kept his feelings under the surface. But it was welcome; she was a comforting presence, and she was right. They just had to stay focused and form a proper response, and they would stand strong and drive the menace back. He closed his eyes and smiled, then opened his eyes again.* Of course. Everything will be just fine. *He turned just enough so that he was face-to-face with Cassie, smiling widely.* Especially since you're with me. *He kissed her. She returned the kiss before they embraced. Yes... she was definitely a boon to him. Someone he could lean on, confide in, and share his worries with. And he would be the same to her. He had stood pretty strong on his own before, but she made things so much easier, as she was someone he could talk to on a far more personal level than anyone else. He was so grateful for her, and was so glad she was here with him right now...*

Jedi Master's meditation is disrupted by a message from his holoterminal in the desk. Will emerges from the meditation and checks the message. Will takes a breath and squares himself into the Force and prepares to present himself to the Jedi High Council.
He puts his traditional Masters robes and goes to the Knights Wing and and rings the chime of the quarters of Adiemus Matango and awaits his response. . . .

He had been awake for some time now...refreshed, bright-eyed, and bushy-tailed. Opting not for the traditional robes, he was in a well-pressed pair of cargo pants, a simple black polo shirt with the Watchman's logo on it, and a pair of low-top white-on-white Air Force Ones. He had just been preparing a small salad to eat when the door chime rang.
"Door's open. Come in!"
Grabbing the oil and vinegar from the cabinet, the Arkanian tossed a little of both on the salad to flavor it. Picking up a fork, he began to eat rapidly. He knew that the Council would be expecting them soon...but he didn't want his notoriously-loud stomach to be growling during his report...it would look unprofessional. Scarfing it as rapidly as he could, he awaited Master Sont'ir's entry.

Hearing the beckoning, Will keyed the entrance to open. He spots the younger jedi scarfing down a salad like a saiyen at King Kai's palace, Will simply shakes his head at the would-be prince of Arkania. Will crosses his arms across his muscular chest, and cocks a head out the doorway he remained standing in.
"Let's go, Your Worshipfulness. Don't want to keep the Old Folks waiting." That is what the Jedi Master had grown accustomed to reffering to the collective High Council; having gotten use to sending regular encoded reports back to the temple under the code "c/o the Old Folk's Home;" it is also a jab at how most of the sitting Councilors opt to living a quiet life in their respective monasteries. . .

Finishing the last bite of the most excellent salad, Adi nodded, washed his hands, wiped his face, and turned off the holovid screen as he headed for the door. There was a strange, good feeling in the pit of his stomach, like things were about to change for the better. As he walked out of the door with Master Sont'ir, he turned, and locked it with a series of keypunches on the pad beside the door.
"What else does the Council wish to discuss with us? And how many were actually able to get clear of Yavin or their various worlds to be here? I know it's been tough with the threat of the Mandalorians everywhere. Speaking of...I think I've come up with a way to loosen the siege...
We will need all the help the Council can give, though. I'll give you a run-through of what I have so far on the way to our little foray in the retirement community."
Adi chuckled, and headed down the hall.

Will rubs his forehead in mild anxiety for Adi's constant focus in foresight.
"It seems Masters Man'sell and Pulastra did not make it out; matter of fact, when you went ahead and escorted the escapees out-- they pulled me aside and tasked me with making sure we all made it out before the blockade was set in place. They told me so because they collectively decided to opt into staying for the safety of those who are stuck there. I believe they still are in communication and will be attending via holocomm. I believe Masters Calmcacil, Dewe, and Roma will be in attendance in person. Masters Kar-taan and Alora seem to be into deep assignment and are not believed to making an appearance today; not even the Masters have been briefed on their assignment."
Will's militaristic and Mandalorian discipline seemed to be dominating his demeanor at this point as the Watchment strived closer and closer to the min turbolifts at the center of the great Jedi Temple that will eventually take them up to the Council Chambers. . . .

Miras woke with a start, jerking upright and loosing a strangled growl. For a long moment he remained completely still, green eyes scanning the tiny quarters that had been allotted to him. At last the youth threw his legs over the edge of his bunk and rose, running a hand back through shaggy black hair that was damp with sweat. What had he dreamed? It was no use trying to remember: he never had been able to, and within a few moments of waking the terror that gripped him always dissipated.
Mouth settling into a bitter line as his heart finally slowed, Miras padded barefoot over to the refresher station and shut the door. A short time later he emerged, freshly washed and clad in the cream-colored garments assigned to all Initiates. Irritation evident on his face as he tugged at the rough material, he exited his quarters and fell in-step with the normal Temple traffic, navigating his way through the halls with no particular destination in mind, letting his mind wander.
He eventually found himself in an empty hallway and uttered a sigh of relief. The Jedi here were a lot more friendly than the ones he was used to- or perhaps it was just that they hadn't yet been put off by his bad attitude, like the ones on Corellia. Hopefully soon they would realize there was no point and proceed to ignore him.
"Not with my Sithspit luck," Miras snorted humorlessly, then fell silent as two men rounded the corner at the far end of the hall and began to walk his way.
Intending to simply nod and pass by them in silence, the youth instead found himself slowing as they approached. One of the men looked familiar- blonde hair, cocky attitude...
"...hey." That was definitely him. Coming to a complete stop as he neared the duo, Miras bowed stiffly before raising his harsh gaze to the man's face."You're the Watch Lead, right? Knight Matango?"

Ak-Akari stood leaning against the wall next to the Turbo-lift to the Council chambers, his newly created adaptive colouration suit set to blend in and his Force signature suppressed as well as he could. With so many Jedi in the area, it should be enough to keep him from being detected. That suited him fine, he wanted the time to think.
He was here uninvited, but he did not mean the council harm. On the contrary actually. After so many years of distrust for the Jedi order, he was finally coming around to see why they might finally be a force for good in the galaxy once more. And, try as he might, this lone wolf stuff wasn't cutting it anymore, he had to have help. So, here he was, trying to figure out what he would say to the council, what his terms would be. He still wasn't sure about outright joining the order, too many strings. But perhaps if he offered to be a... well... he didn't really have a name for it. Private contractor seemed an apt term, but it had a sort of dirty connotation to it.
He sighed. The easiest thing to do would be to join. Problem was he had uttered the mantra "I'm not a Jedi" to so many people now that he had trouble letting go of his individual identity like that. And in many ways, he really wasn't a proponent of the code. But, as earlier, he had to remind himself that he needed their help.
A voice snapped him out of his revery.
"You're the Watch Lead, right? Knight Matango?"
Ak-Akari's eyes narrowed at that. Adi was here? They're met briefly for a couple times, but then Ak-Akari had gone his own way in order to train and completely revamp his arsenal. Adi had given him a lot to think about, and was probably a large part of the reason Ak-Akari was even here. He saw the exchange begin down the hall, a younger Jedi greeting two others, and sure enough one of them looked a great deal like the Adi he had met.
Ak-Akari sighed again. It seemed like fate wanted him to go through with this. He disengaged the camouflage on his suit, its colour reverting to the dark browns of it's base material, and he pulled back the cowl on it so he could be recognized. He kept his signature somewhat suppressed however, so as not to alarm anyone noticing the sudden appearance of a strong force sensitive. Then he waited by the lift, not wanting to butt in to the conversation. Adi would recognize him hopefully, and if not he would have to stop the two Jedi in order to speak to them anyway.

Matango listened very closely as Master Sont'ir told of who was here, and who was going to attend. While the siege, and other various duties, had kept some away, Adi had not seen a gathering such as this since the Conclave on Tython. Something big was going down...he could feel it. There was a wave of 'something different' in the air....flowing in the force. The light was shifting...Adi just hoped it was moving to something more positive.
He was just about to start to explain the plan he was developing as they walked down the hall, when he heard someone addressing him. It kind of surprised him, as he wasn't expecting anyone other than the Masters here to really know who he was here on Coruscant....but he also wasn't one to be rude and not answer someone when they were talking to him....
"I am. What can I do for you?"
Out of the corner of his eye, by the turbolift, Adi noticed a shimmer. As if materializing from nowhere, Ak-Akari Obachu was suddenly just....standing there.
...Apparently, he had some of the same kind of holoprojection tech that was installed on the newest CLoWDS weapon systems. Impressive, indeed...but what was he doing here? Answers would have to wait, however, until the conversation with the student learner was done. Matango had wanted to talk to Ak-Akari about some things anyway....but had no way to contact him after the defense of the Great Jedi Library on Ossus...especially considering the way Adi had exited the fight. The Force worked in mysterious ways, apparently, because here the man was, pretty much standing in front of Matango.
Putting his hand on the Padawan's shoulder to tell him to 'come along with us for now', Adi continued toward the turbolift.

Ak-Akari Abachu. A legendary pacifist duelist.
Leaning nonchalantly at the turbolifts where Adi and Will would finally meet with the Jedi High Council, seemed determined to speak with Matango. Will spot Abachu as soon as they were insight of him. Master Son'tir was aware of the apparent Force aptitude that the combatant must have in order to have achieved what he has in his years of service. Yet, his Force signature was kept low, nearly unnoticeable; it seemed that it went unnoticed to Adi entirely if his slight shock he rippled through the Force; perhaps in Matango's relaxed state in the hallowed halls of the legendary temple, that he simply was not attuned enough to the Force to feel that signature, which was kept as low as Jedi-hopefuls who are shipped to the Agrarian Sector to farm for the needs of the Order. But it wasn't entirely void.
It was clear, however, that Abachu was here for Matango and not for Master Son'tir. So, Will remained stalwart and called the turbolift to the ground floor and awaited for it. Will turned around with lactic interest in the conversations that are about to ensue, with an eyebrow up and a tight polite smile to the newcomers in the party . . .

Ak-Akari bowed to both of the senior Jedi, then faced Adi.
"Greetings once more friend. Seems we are destined to run into each other often. Catching up can wait however, you have a pupil to attend to." He said, nodding at the young Jedi Miras.
Then he turned to the other Jedi, Will. "I am Ak-Akari Obachu, Force adept and master of illusion. I don't believe we've met. Perhaps we can get acquainted while we wait on the council? I've been needing a sponsor to take me before them anyway."
It marvelled Ak-Akari how easily he slipped into his formal tone, despite his long departures from society. It was like something programmed into him, perhaps a side effect of his speciality in the Force. All the same, here was one place he didn't have to only pretend to be at ease, he could in fact let his guard down. Mostly anyway. There were always potential dangers, even here in the heart of the Jedi order, and Ak-Akari knew it all to well. If he could find his way so easily into this place, then potential enemies could as well.
He shook off the sudden apprehension at the thought and focused on conversation. Paranoia was all well and good for survival, but it had to have limits. Otherwise he'd never get anything done and then where would he be? Some hermit living in the swamps of Dagobah? not likely.

Will eyes, Abachu with a bit of surprise, shakes it off and puts on a more genuine smile on his face as a representative of the High Council. "I have heard great things from you, sir-- despite your chosen life of solitude. I am Master Will Son'tir, Watchmen and this one's" a casual eye to Adi "babysitter." He offers a friendly hand to Abachu in the hopes that he shake it.
As they hopefully shake hands, Will puts on a face of contemplation before asking, "And what news do you have to bring to the Council?" Will was genuinely interested. It seemed that there are many seeking admission to what was supposed to be a closed meeting to discuss the current affairs of the Yavin-Mandalorian crisis currently in progress . . .

He was just about to start to explain the plan he was developing as they walked down the hall, when he heard someone addressing him. It kind of surprised him, as he wasn't expecting anyone other than the Masters here to really know who he was here on Coruscant....but he also wasn't one to be rude and not answer someone when they were talking to him...."I am. What can I do for you?" His suspicions confirmed, Miras felt a rueful smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. It wasn't every day you got to meet someone you only know from the vids. Apparently getting shipped off to Coruscant wasn't without its own silver lining after all."We studied your Trakata demonstration in our A.P. lightsaber combat courses," Miras began, his smile giving way to a more studious expression. "I was just curious as to your lightsaber construction. You've modified it to incorporate a quick-kill trigger, correct?" The older Jedi swept past him then, laying a hand on the Initiate's shoulder as he did so. Miras immediately stiffened, his hands clenching into fists so tight his knuckles turned white. The sound of snarling lightsabers and innumerable blasters filled the youth's ears, and before his eyes a gout of super-heated blood sprayed from a throat opened by a crimson blade. With a sudden start he jerked away, muttering an apology before falling in time with the two older Jedi.
The older man that accompanied Adieumus began a conversation with someone that had been lounging near the turbolift, and Miras took the opportunity to raise his hand for inspection. For bloody crescents marked his palm where his nails had bitten into the flesh. Casting a wary glance at the blonde swordsman, Miras wondered in silence.

Ak-Akari takes Will's extended hand, shaking it with enthusiasm and smiling his greeting at the Jedi. It was nice to meet new people from time to time, he had to admit. It was just so easy to retreat into one's self and ignore the world.
"Really? I had no idea more than a few even knew about me. I must have made quite the impression back on Ossus." He released the man's hand and continued. "I'm afraid to say I have no news to share with the council. What I offer is a little more tangible. I would like to offer my services. I've spent enough time on my own, its time I was part of something bigger."

"Well I am sure the Council will be more then happy to have your services into the fold. Perhaps even in the Shadows." Will winks at the expert illusionist just as the chime for the turbolift goes off with a soft boop. Will continues to smile and offers the other hand that was not shaking Ak's hand and offers the turbolift to everyone in the party: Ak, Adi and the Padawan who has engaged Adi; an agony of soulful pain is pinging off the younger of all the jedi; an uncomposed and unabetted look of concern plastered on the jedi master's face. "You alright, kid?"
