And boy howdy, do you get it. They're so tinted, in fact, that seeing out of them becomes every bit as impossible as seeing into them.

Granted. You had a Nokia so that when you did drop it your phone did not smash. The opposite happens, it splits the world in half. Good job you just accidently the whole thing.
