Terra raised her head to look back at him, blushing even more heavily as he stared at her for a moment and she even briefly considered running back into her tent to grab a shirt or something like he had done. She had never worn something like this before, and certainly not in front of a male before. Her face burned even more after his compliment. "Oh! Um...I...w-well....er...th-thanks...." She took another deep breath and followed him down to the beach, hoping there would be no one else around to see her in this.
They arrived on the beach and eventually found a spot to set their things. She noticed that on the way over, he had been avoiding looking at her. Maybe he was embarrassed too? She wondered about this as they set up their spot on the beach. "I think that's everything...um..." She blushed and looked at the ground again.

*Ralph was quiet again for a moment, wondering what to say as to not look like an utter fool in front of Terra. A voice rang out in his head from a lesson long ago. For a split second, he was back in a class room on Honoghr looking up at Zik. "Ralph, if you're a man. pull yourself together." And then the moment ended, and Ralph turned to look at Terra, the soft. gentle smile returning to his face. He walked over to Terra and put a finger under her chin, lifting her gaze off the ground.*
Terra...Relax. It is true that in our training we are taught to be humble servants of the Force, but there is nothing wrong with taking a bit more pride in your appearance. You are an exceptional student, and a beautiful young woman. Have a bit more confidence.

Terra's eyes met Ralph's as he gently lifted her head, blushing even more furiously at his assurance, and for a moment, she could find no words to say to him. She had received compliments about her training and such, but no one had ever told her that she was beautiful before. There were no words to express how that made her feel, and truly she had never felt this before, and looking into Ralph's eyes, he seemed to genuinely feel that way. She felt her eyes beginning to moisten. "R-Ralph...I...n-no one's...ever s-said that t-to me b-before...I..." She took a deep, shuddering breath as she tried to pull herself together, but was unable to stop the tears from flowing down her face.

*As the tears began to stream down Terra's cheeks, she would feel the quick brush of the back of his hand against her cheek. Ralph's smile remained as he slid his arms around her and pulled her against him in a comforting hug. He wasn't quite sure what he could say to her beyond what he already had, but ontop of thinking her to be beautiful, Ralph was also her friend. He held on to her comfortingly, the smile never disappearing from his face as he let her cry on him.*

Terra had tried to hold back her tears, but she couldn't, and as Ralph wrapped his arms around her, she threw her arms around him, burying her face into his chest and momentarily forgetting her scant clothing as she clung to him. Finally, after a few minutes, she pulled away, her arms still wrapped loosely around him and she giggled nervously. "S-sorry...I j-just...that...that means a lot...and..." She took another deep breath and smiled widely. "Thanks Ralph....really...thank you..." Still smiling, she turned briefly to look out over the beach before turning her gaze back to him and giggling again, not minding being held by him at all, but they still had work to do after all. "So...um...what should we do first?"

*Ralph smiled and pulled Terra in close again. His hands slid under her and lifted her up off the ground before he leaned in and gave her a light peck on the cheek. Terra didn't seem to mind being held, and Ralph did not mind holding her. He was still waiting a bit though, letting her relax more before they moved on with what he had planned for the day, since they seemed to have the beach to themselves for now.*
I think we can spare a few minutes to just enjoy this...

Terra squeaked a little when she felt herself being lifted off the ground, not from fright, just surprise that Ralph could lift her so easily, and she responded by grasping onto him more tightly. Her face turned red again when he gave her a little peck on the cheek, but she didn't really mind that too much. To be honest, she liked this feeling when he was holding her, and there was no one else around them so she didn't mind at all. It was a new feeling for her, as she had never been held like this before, but it made her feel safe and she liked that.
She giggled again at his suggestion that they just take a few minutes to enjoy this, and she certainly wasn't opposed to that.. "OK..."

*Ralph's smile remained on his lips, as he tilted his head forward and rested his forehead against Terra's as they stayed wrapped around one another. His breathing shallowed a bit and his heart almost skipped a beat. For all the people he had known across all the planets in his travels, Ralph did not feel this way about anyone but Terra. Happy as he was to be her friend, Ralph leaned in a bit more to press his lips against hers gently, to see if she may be intrested in more then they had as well*

Terra closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the moment just like Ralph had suggested they do. As he continued to hold her tightly, she felt her heart rate increasing and her breathing was speeding up a little as she felt his arms around her, touching her skin. A shiver ran down her spine and she tightened her hold on him, drawing her body closer to his. She froze when his lips touched hers and for a moment, she was completely at a loss. But only for a moment.
To be honest, Terra had been thinking about Ralph a lot lately, not to mention she had spent more time with him than with anyone else not named Serrin Roma. He was closer to her than any of the other students around her age. Somehow, this just felt...right. When he had kissed her, the truth was, she liked it. She liked him. A lot.
With a small smile, she returned the gesture, brushing her lips against his.

*Ralph's lips curled against Terra's and he did no pull away from the kiss as he held her close to him. He was ecstatic the she seemed to feel the same way about him. He gave her one last kiss before slowly pulling away from her lips and looking down at her.*
Terra...Where do we go from here? I haven't felt like this with about anyone...And I am glad that its you over anyone else in the galaxy...

Terra felt like she was floating as they kissed and she opened her eyes when he pulled away. Her face was flushed, but she wasn't embarrassed in the slightest anymore. Just a year ago it would have been utterly unthinkable that she would ever feel this way about anyone, and she was afraid that maybe this was just a dream, that she would wake up and be back at the academy or worse, back on Nar Shaddaa. Except back then, she wouldn't have ever been able to even imagine, let alone dream something like this, so that meant this couldn't be a dream at all.
She giggled and rested her head on his chest again. "I...I d-don't know...I've n-never felt this way before either..."

*Ralph looked down into her eyes. There was a shine to the ocean blue eyes of his, as he sincerely meant it. He wanted to make something with Terra, He wanted her to continue feeling safe like she did right then and there. He leaned down again, not pressing his lips to hers yet, but just looking into her eyes instead of down at her where he could see her body. That's not what he wanted. She was beautiful to him, but there was so much more about her that made him feel that way.*

Terra looked into Ralph's eyes, and she gave a small nod. She wanted them to be together too, plain and simple. "I...I'd like that..." She smiled up at him, shuddering a little when he leaned down and her eyes began to flutter shut, but opened when he didn't kiss her right away. Ralph had said she was beautiful, but he was quite handsome in her opinion. She wouldn't have dared to tell him before now though...
She giggled and her voice dropped to just barely above a whisper. "You know....y-you're not bad looking yourself..." She giggled again, blushing as she spoke.

*All he needed to hear was Terra tell him that she wanted the same thing. With the widest smile she would have ever seen from him, he leaned in and gave Terra a deeper kiss then before. As he continued to hold her up, his hands slide under her rear to make it easier on himself, not to cop a feel. He pulled his lips back away from hers and smiled as the next words fell from his mouth.*

Terra returned his kiss eagerly and pressed herself against him as best she could while he was holding her, and a surprised squeal escaped her when his hands traveled under her rear. Normally she wouldn't have liked being touched in such a manner, but she knew he wasn't trying anything funny with her. She gasped when he pulled away, giggling and blushing.
Her eyes widened when Ralph spoke again, and she stared at him for a moment. He loved her...he really loved her, and when Terra looked into his eyes, she could tell he wasn't joking. For a moment, she had found herself at a loss for words, but really she was only searching her feelings. And it didn't take long for her to realize that she loved him as well. They had grown very close over the last few weeks, no mean feat considering how shy she normally was. But there was no denying her feelings, and it had only become clear in these past few days that she had fallen in love with Ralph.
A tear rolled down her cheek as she felt herself starting to cry again. "I...I love you too..."

*When Terra began to cry again, Ralph pressed his lips to her again. The feeling between them was incredible. Ralph could have stood there holding her all day long, but he didn't. He carried her over to one of the beach towels and sat down slowly, nestling Terra into his lap before kissing her again, an air of amazing happiness radiating from her.*
Should we be open about this back at the academy? I mean, I want the galaxy to know, but I will defer to you on how open we are about being together...

Terra clung tightly to Ralph as they kissed, never wanting this moment to end. Never in her wildest dreams could she have imagined that she would feel this way about anyone. Despite her tears, she couldn't help but giggle again as she was carried over to where they had set down on of the beach towels and she cuddled up to him, kissing him back then burying her face into his chest when he pulled away.
She wondered what Serrin would think about all of this, and imagined that some of the higher ups in the academy would frown on their relationship. Now that they had confessed their feelings to each other, it was highly unlikely that they would be able to hide it for long. Terra herself wasn't that great at keeping secrets, especially from Serrin...
She sighed softly. "I...I don't know...I don't think I c-could hide it..."

I don't think that we need too. Things are different from the old order. Some people may not be happy about it, but they can't stop us.
*Ralph was still smiling with Terra sitting in his lap, and his arms wrapped around her waist. For now he was content to just sit there with her, but he knew that before too long, he would need to get up and go try and catch something to eat. On top of that, Ralph wanted to get out in the water and swim around for a bit, but it was still early afternoon now, so they had time to take things slow.*

Terra nodded, wishing she had his confidence about the matter, but she couldn't help but feel nervous about what Serrin would think. Still, with Ralph's support, it would be all right. "Yeah...you're right..." She sighed happily as Ralph held her tightly, not wanting him to let go but also knowing that eventually they would need to get up and catch some fish.
After a few more minutes, she gently nudged him with her elbow and giggled. "Are we just going to sit here all day?" She blushed again.

We could...But I suppose i do need to catch dinner before to long to give it time to soak up the spices I have
*Almost begrudgingly, Ralph slid out from under Terra and pulled the fishing poles from the case he had brought them in and began to set up the hooks and bait. Fishing had been one of his favorite ways to waste time, which was odd for a boy that was from Coruscant. He baited both hooks finally and handed one of them over to Terra.*
Do you know how to cast?
