Red Dawn Medical Complex Grounds
*These are the grounds surrounding the Red Dawn Medical Complex. Within these grounds is a lush garden for patients, and staff alike, to sit and relax. There are tables and chairs dotting the landscape along with various kinds of trees and other vegetation, a few statues, and water fountains spread throughout the grounds.*

Aeram leisurely drifted over the grounds, just above the trees before dropping down into them and weaving through the branches and leaves, quietly rustling the lightweight flora. There were plenty of people around, though few looked very interesting. A gust of wind caught him off guard, sending him tumbling through the air and away from the tree. Once he stopped tumbling he sunk lower to the ground to avoid any more breezes, coming down to just above eye level for most sentients. If he found nothing of interest out here he would go inside.

Several months had passed since Wilhelm had run his test of the RDMC Security System, after which he had been approached by Alisha about his plans for upgrading the system. Thanks to data provided by Alena, the hacker for hire whom Wilhelm had gotten to test the system, Wilhelm was able to finish the final design of the new security network and start implementing it. To keep the designs from leaking, Wilhelm, Conan, and Leon worked on the project by themselves, with only a small team of highly vetted Cinndao labourers, using various proxy companies and addresses to make the purchases of equipment and materials, making sure to route and re-route transactions and shipping addresses. Anyone seeking to trace the schematics would find it near impossible. Sure it had taken some extra time, but the effort was well worth it to ensure the security layout remained known only to a handful of people.
Work had begun in the tunnels underneath the RDMC and Nystao. Caverns were scouted out, before generators were installed underground, both backups and primaries. They then set up emergency lighting systems as well as some level flooring, both for use by the maintenance crew, and for if an evacuation was required. Following this, 10 caverns were selected, 5 beneath RDMC and 5 beneath Nystao, at which point properly maintained self-contained environment rooms were installed into the caverns, before the server farms were set up, alongside the hidden hardwire connection that ran between the RDMC and Nystao server farms. The doors to the rooms were a durasteel-cortosis composite, to ensure solidarity and strength against any physical attacks. As the server farms had come online, Wilhelm had ran all the old Medical File data through the HAMR Corp server array, making sure that all data was purged of any bugs or viruses that could be potentially used by an attacker to gain access to the system. As the data was transferred, it was also encrypted using an ancient dialect of the Cinndao, known only to a handful of people currently employed by the RDMC, along with a constantly mutating encryption key. Further measures that were installed at the server farm level included several IPS and UDSs (the IPSs were installed both internally and externally, whilst the UDSs were installed internally) along with various software and hardware firewalls between servers and between the internal and external network. Further security measures included the installation of several hidden disruptor cannon turrets that extended out from the walls in emergencies with targeting systems that allowed them to easily distinguish between friend and foe (drawing power from a dedicated set of generators), along with several shield generators and bulk heads that were dispersed at strategic choke points and could be used to lock hallways down during an evacuation. Security Camera's and sensors were also dotted through the tunnels and regular intervals, to help monitor and contain everything.
Following the completion of the underground works, they began their works on the outside of the building, starting with the exterior perimeter wall around the RDMC. They started off by first installing Ray and Particle Shield Generators to cover the walls themselves, before moving on to setting up a series of Security Camera's spaced evenly along the top of the wall in pairs (1 camera facing inward, 1 camera facing outward). This was further topped off with four compact sensor suites that were concealed inside the walls at each cardinal point. As a part of the upgrade, the walls had been reconstructed out of a Duralium-Lanthanide alloy to add a further level of defence. The works then slowly moved inwards to the grounds of the RDMC, where under the guise of revitalization efforts, 8 Heavy Octuple Turbolaser Emplacements were installed underground on lifts that allowed the cannons to rise up from underground and eliminate any threat to the RDMC. 16 AG-2G quad laser cannon’s were also installed on separate rising platforms in pairs to take on anything small enough to evade the big guns. Under average circumstances, the bay doors remained closed and thus the cannons are all concealed. The team continued moving inwards to the exterior of the RDMC buildings. They first started with a series of Security Camera's placed a regular intervals just about the first floor height, so as to give plenty of coverage for the video streams. A Further full sized sensor suite was added on the top of the RDMC, that linked into the compact suites located within the walls to provide full and reliable sensor coverage.
With the most extremities well and truly covered, the team then began their work on upgrading the interior infrastructure, working the Medical Center a section at a time, so as to avoid any lengthy closures of the RDMC. The first of the upgrades was Security Camera's placed at regular intervals throughout all the hallways, stairwells, air ducts, and elevators. These were followed by the addition of motion sensors and laser tripwires in the air ducts (sections could be manually deactivated by finger print scanners). Biometric and keypass scanners were also installed on all the doors leading to restricted areas (such as labs and doctors’ offices), with all the doors receiving a reinforced Duralium-Lanthanide alloy upgrade. Following on from this, Window Motion Sensors were installed on all windows (that could be deactivated by only a handful of key passes), as well as rooms receiving motion sensors (that acted as security camera's as well to provide visuals in emergency situations). Concealed escape stairwells were also installed into the offices to provide access down into the tunnels in emergency evacuation situations. All consoles and ports were further upgraded to remain shut down unless the proper keypass was present, with all traffic communications being encrypted in the ancient Cinndao dialect with a mutating encryption key. Further upgrades of the network, include the physical separation of the comms and data network, to avoid anyone trying to piggy back in again on the comms network.
One section that was constantly being built at all times during the upgrades, was the Security Command Center, located deep in the RDMC basement. Hundreds of video and data feeds were run into the room, all monitored by a team of personnel dedicated to monitoring what went on. The room was built as a separate bunker to the rest of the RDMC, with its walls and doors a Duralium-Lanthanide alloy coated in a layer of Cortosis. A backup generator, weapons storage locker, supplies storage room, and sleeping quarters meant that in emergencies, the bunker could be used as a Tactical Command Center or even just as a bunker. Access to the bunker was restricted to Security Personnel, and High level Admins of the RDMC, with the entrance requiring a keypass and several points of biometric identification. The main doors opened into a small contained hallway where a further full body scan would verify access, as well as allow any hostiles to be trapped if they tried forcing entry. The final internal set of doors lead into the main monitoring room, with various doors leading off to the side to the sleeping quarters and storage lockers.
All up, the upgrade had taken 6 months to complete, which had been about the total length of time that Wilhelm had roughly estimated the upgrades would take when he had first talked with Alisha about the project. With all the technological side of things sorted, the 50 Security Guards were hired on and equipped with custom Phase III Dark Trooper Exo-suits, which only had the pair of seeker missile racks and the hand held assault cannon. The Guard maintained patrol routes on various levels of the RDMC in the corridors, with some shifts requiring them to stand guard at certain checkpoints into restricted areas

Underneath RDMC in the ICE* Bunker. (*Information Collection and Exchange)
Wilhelm sat occupied at a portable terminal that was connected to a number of ports located beneath the main screen in the command area, typing away as he entered in over a dozen different lines of coding as he finalised the finishing touches on a project he had been working on for the entire time the upgrade had been taking place. Going off a very similar idea to the system he currently had running in the RDMC Cybernetics lab, Wilhelm was currently in the final phase of implementation of the new RDMC Security AI system to help better manage all the new systems that had been set up. The AI itself had been fairly rudimentary to code and create, but ensuring the proper integration and personality had been the most laborious phase of the creation. It had taken some time to replicate the correct vocal patterns and personality traits, but he was quite certain it would all pay off in the end once he finally showed it off. But first he finished up the final lot of coding, before shutting the terminal down and disconnecting all the cables, and replaced the metal cover onto the wall which had a opaque cover over what looked like a name plate. Wilhelm then loaded the rest of the gear onto a small hover dolly before retrieving a small fold out table, a bottle of champagne and a pair of glasses which he set up in the small 'clearing'. He then got out his comm link and turned it to Alisha's comm channel and sent her a message =Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren= Dr Mercotti, this is Dr Van Buuren paging you for a consult in the ICE Bunker. I request your presence as soon as possible... He then pocketed his comm link, as he did one last visual check to ensure that the doors into the Bunker were already unlocked and opened, so that Alisha could make her way in without worrying about any security checks and such. One could say Wilhelm's actions seemed a little extraordinary considering he was only unveiling the new security system, but he had a bit of making up to do, considering he had left Alisha out of the loop when he first tested the old system. And although she had not shown any real signs of being unhappy, he had been around women long enough to know it was best to present a peace offering, per say. this would be his

Upon receiving a message from Wilhelm to meet him in the ISIS Bunker, Alisha made her way down to the below ground levels of the RDMC. As she neared the doors of the bunker, she found them already open. Glancing around, she was half expecting to have to complete some security protocol until she realized that Wilhelm must have left them open in expectation of her arrival. Continuing on, she found herself in the doorway of the room Wilhelm occupied. Her eyes roamed the room noting a small table, with a bottle of champagne with a couple of glasses, set in the middle of the space. Curiosity began to set in as she wondered what he was up to now. Arching an eyebrow, she leaned a shoulder against the door frame and folded her arms across her chest.
"Wilhelm....you wanted to see me about something?"

Wilhelm turned around as he heard Alisha say his name, her curiosity somewhat noticeable from her arched eyebrow as she studied the room, and the little set up he had. He smiled and gave a nod of his head in response, beckoning for her to come down and join him briefly, before he popped the cork of the champagne, the distinctive popping sound echoed slightly in the room, as he poured the glasses =Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren= Alisha, nice to see you. And yes, I did want to see you about something... Please, take a glass, it's a vintage make, from the year I started my medical studies I believe. A occasion for celebration is rather dismal without a drink to match, that is for sure... He then picked up both glasses and offered one of them to Alisha, the characteristic fizz of the champagne quite noticeable, as it formed some rather neat patterns through the liquid

Ali returned his nod and smile, while she walked toward the small table. He had picked up the bottle of champagne, popped the cork on it, then poured some into each of the two fluted glasses. She met his gaze when he began to speak and held out one of the glasses to her.
Taking one of the offered glasses, she gave it a lingering glance, seeing the tiny bubbles rising through the liquid. Holding the glass in front of her, her eyes found his again. "So you mean this champagne is hundreds of years old then? You sure it hasn't turned into vinegar by now?" A teasing grin briefly graced her features as she held the glass close to her nose and inhaled the rather fruity fragrance before looking up at him again. "What exactly are we celebrating?" The curious look was back again as she eyed him with interest, still wondering what he was up to.

Wilhelm took a sip of his champagne as Alisha glanced at her own glass, before meeting her gaze as she turned back to him. He chuckled as she joked about how old he could be, a far off guess, but not out of the ordinary considering how long lived the Cinndao were A good champagne never goes bad... Wilhelm then motioned towards the covered name plate just beneath the main computer screen. It was time to reveal his little gesture of good faith and bring the security AI officially online to better protect the RDMC and it's files That is the cause for celebration. The final piece of the RDMC security system has been completed, and I can at last unveil it. I will admit though, I'm not unaware of when I have crossed certain boundaries, or perhaps left someone with less than appreciative feelings towards my actions. My actions a couple months ago, whilst valid, were not without their fault, and for that I do apologise. But I also understand my words mean only so much, which is why I have taken the extra step to ensure you'll be keeping a closer eye on things... In a manner of speaking. Without further adieu, I present the Artificial Life Intelligence Surveillance Helper Algorithm... or A.L.I.S.H.A. Wilhelm then walked over and removed the opaque cover from over the name plate, just as the system booted up and started bringing all the newly installed security systems online in the ISIS Bunker, officially transfering control of them from the old security center. Wilhelm walked back over to the table and raised his glass A.L.I.S.H.A. say hi...
Good Evening Dr's Van Buuren and Mercotti, I am at your service as the RDMC's Security AI

She chuckled with him, knowing full well he wasn't quite as aged as some of the Cinndao she knew, glad that he took her comment in the context that it was meant - a little piece of good humor. Taking a small sip from her own glass, she eyed Wilhelm, listening interestedly as he explained what he'd been doing for the last couple months. He'd even apologized for not informing her of his initial testing of the security system a few months ago. He went on to explained about how she would be able to keep a closer eye on the happening within the RDMC with the Artificial Life Intelligence Surveillance Helper Algorithm. She arched an eyebrow when she realized the acronym for the newest portion of the security system before he even finished saying it - A.L.I.S.H.A.. He named it after her. She wasn't exactly sure how she felt about that at the moment. Maybe flattered? She'd never had anything named after her before so this was a new experience to be sure. Tilting her head slightly to the side, she watched as he walked over to the wall and stood next to an opaque covered plaque. He removed the cover and revealed the writing on the plaque as the system booted up. Walking back over to the table, he raised his glass and 'introduced' the new AI system. Ali gave a tiny smirk as she raised her glass to Wilhelm and pleasantly returned the AI's greeting.
"Hello A.L.I.S.H.A.. It's good to have you aboard...."
Turning her attention back to Wilhelm, she took a sip of champagne before setting the glass on the table and folding her arms across her chest with a slight grin. "You've outdone yourself, Wilhelm....thank you. The new system is a huge improvement over the old. I just have one question: Do you plan on naming more parts of the system after doctors and administrators of the RDMC? Because it might get a little confusing if you do." She teased lightly, but was pleased with his overall accomplishments regarding the new advanced security system in general. He had worked diligently on the system since their initial talk a few months ago and she appreciated his efforts immensely....

Wilhelm kept smirking as he took another sip of his champagne, whilst Alisha and A.L.I.S.H.A. seemed to get to know each other. Thankfully this had taken the much preferred nicer route, in which things seemed to be smoothing themselves out, meaning he could relax a little and not worry so much. He turned towards her, placing his own glass on the table as well =Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren= I think I've covered all the most beautiful admin's, So I think it'll be fine...

Ali gave a chuckle at his reasoning for naming the system after Ice and herself. The man was such a smooth talker, he seemed to have an answer for everything. With a tilt of her head, she smiled lightly in jest as she leaned a hip against the table and folded her arms across her chest.
"I think Ice might take exception to being called beautiful. I don't think she's realized just how good she looks and you might get punched if you say it to her face. I, on the other hand, know that beauty is only skin deep so I take it all in stride, chéri."

Wilhelm chuckled a little at the comment, although he was confident in his skills, he was quite sure Ice would make him regret his comments. For some one named Ice, she sure was fiery, to be sure. =Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren= Alisha, my dear, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Where one might look only to outward appearances, I prefer to examine deeper. A personality makes a great deal of difference you know, it can be the game changer between a one night stand and a long term relationship...

Giving a light chuckle, Ali tilted her head to the side. He had a certain way with words, she'd give him that much. "Touché, Wilhelm. Though sometimes looking too deep can push someone away...."
She said pointedly, knowing all too well how it could push someone away. It had happened with Ares. The more she tried to look deeper, tried to get him to talk about things, the more he seemed to distance himself. She knew he was trying to protect her from whatever demons lay in his and his family's past, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt just the same when he shut her out completely. A very brief look of sadness crossed her face before she masked it with a thoughtful look. Shaking her head slightly, she pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind. The past was the past and she refused to live there, especially when the future was starting to look pretty damn good for herself and the RDMC. Meeting Wilhelms gaze again, she flashed him a bright smile.
"So, what else is on your agenda today, Doctor? What other technological wonders are you perfecting for the good of us and the galaxy?" The teasing glint was once again apparent in her eyes as she spoke.

Wilhelm regarded Alisha with an inquisitive look as she looked sad for the briefest of moments, causing him to wonder if perhaps he had touched upon a subject he should not have, and was about to apologise when Alisha smiled again and asked to what else was on his agenda and what other technologies he was going to be pursuing =Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren= Well today? not a great deal, up until today all my time not spent with consultations and operations, has been spent getting this system online, so I've got the rest of the day off... As to what technological wonders I am perfecting, well at the moment I'm working on a couple personal projects, but there is a couple new cybernetic limb replacement designs that are currently being tested as well as some private market... adult toys... that we are working on improving battery life and extra features for...

While she was pleased to hear of his work on cybernetic limb replacements, it was his remarks about 'the private market' that caused her to pause with an arched eyebrow and a somewhat surprised look on her face.
"Your advancements in cybernetics is to be commended. I'm sure the recipients of said cybernetics will greatly appreciate your endeavors in that area....but I have to ask: Why adult toys?"
Her question was genuine. She was curious as to what made him decide to venture into the adult market. Granted, there was money to made from the iLicks and HRD 'pleasure bots' - but did she really want the RDMC name, and reputation, attached to said products? Of course he did say that it was a private venture, so maybe he had already thought of that and she was worrying for nothing....

He had expected some kind of reaction from Alisha when he had mentioned his private market venture, especially since it was in the adult toy industry, and so her question was not entirely unexpected. Thankfully he already had a partial reply prepared earlier, to take a philosophical leaf from the book of TV chef's everywhere =Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren= Well, it's something of an interesting story, but considering Nurse Sarah's... uhm... well... how should I put this... urges.... she is something of a high demand customer for a number of companies, and so under a pseudonym, I... took advantage of the situation, so to speak. Don't worry, the RDMC name isn't even remotely associated with my work, it's all private contract, and dealt with through InterGalactic Banking Clan accounts. I have YARVIS working to keep it all sorted.

Limey guides me out into the hospital grounds and further on, to a small ship parking lot. The place is very nice. If it wasn't a hospital, I bet it would be a great place to live. I almost envy the doctors, except that this is a place of physical emergencies, and doctors, well they have their work cut out for them to save lives.
We go up the ramp of a UFO. I don't even know what that is, but I'm going to roll with it. Anyone who sees me could see me with this permanently amazed look on my face, because I'm staring around at everything like I'm seeing them for the first time ever. Which, technically, I am. Except I have this strange part in my brain that has some kind of foreknowledge. Like, how did I know that Limey's a R2-series astromech droid? And what is an astromech droid. Based on its name, I am guessing some sort of navigator robot or something. Cute though, except this one seems to have the personality of a real grouch.
The ship is HUGE! I'm inside, and it's ginormous! Well, helps that I'm pretty small, so everything looks big to me.
Limey tells me where my room is, and to change out of what it calls horrible gown. And to stop showing my behind to everyone.
My eyes widen at that. In a literal second, I'm out of that gown and into something much more comfortable, a blue sweater and pink pants, and shoes. I mean, I may be strong, but there's no need to risk stepping on a nail or something and hurting myself.
"So, I have a ship...Limey, could you tell me more about it?"
The droid grumbles a whole lot, but does its best to explain to me that my ship, the Sunflower is a Corona-class frigate or something like that. It's a whole lot of information, but I get the gist of it. It's around then that I feel I should go looking for Spectre. I wonder what happened to him, and where he is right now?
Before Limey can stop me, I exit the ship and take to the skies...in person.
I'm flying. Can people fly? Is this totally normal? I hope so.

I have YARVIS working to keep it all sorted. Nurse Sarah. Well that explained a lot. That woman could, singlehandedly, keep the adult industry going if given the chance. Sometimes Ali had to think about why she had actually hired the rather amorous nurse. Though to be fair, Sarah had impeccable credentials, but now Ali had to wonder just exactly how the woman came by those impeccable credentials. Shaking that thought from her head with an inward shudder, she smiled at Wilhelm again, thankful that he possessed the foresight to think ahead in his business ventures."It sounds like you have a good solid plan then, Wilhelm....congratulations. I hope it works out for you. Also, thank you for thinking of the RDMC's reputation. Now, I must take my leave and go get some actual work of my own done.
And Wilhelm....great job on the security system too." She gave him a quick smile then turned and left the room, leaving him to his own devices as she left the underground area and made her way back upstairs to her office....-----------------------------------------------------------------------------OOC info: Alisha's RP continued HERE

Wilhelm gave a short bow as Alisha complimented his work, before the RDMC Admin took her leave of the bunking, leaving Wilhelm to go and greet the new staff that would be monitoring the security system alongside the ALISHA AI. It took close to two hours to get everyone settled in and acquainted with the new system, thanks in part to the fact that some of the new staff had been hired to help design the system and due to ALISHA's assistance. With that attended to, Wilhelm then ordered the deconstruction of the old security centre, with orders that the proper policies relating to sensitivty electronics destruction to be fully and properly followed, before making his way back to his own office in the cybernetics lab

RDMC Eastern Wing
Shedo and his accompainement of Chiss Soldiers made their way to the East Wing, drawing many a curious gaze form onlookers as they passed by, with many a mixed feeling about his presence here. As they entered the East Wing, the amount of people around decreased in number, allowing Shedo to more freely move about as he examined the area, checking in on a number of different empty rooms. It was a pair of large connected glass domes out on the grounds that caught his eye however. An initial glance alone, showed that they were unused and completely seperate from the main buildings enough, that even if an accident occured, the RDMC would not find itself quickly overrun by Yuuzhan Vong biots by accident. He then signalled for the Chiss troopers to lead him back up to where his Yorik-et was, so that he could then go visit the various sites that the RDMC teams were waiting for him at, so that he could ensure they were clear of anything dangerous, and see if there was anything useful he could add to the Arboretum he was planning on building
