*And there was Brakus, excitedly bouncing like a child much younger than he was; Mina was half his age and she showed less energy than him. He at least made an impressive catch when his bag nearly slipped off his arm, but he was nevertheless scolded by Felia for his attitude and forgetting the word "headdress." Jake smirked as he tried to suppress a snicker, both at the scolding and at Felia's almost-ruined attempt to appear more grownup. Recovering and stammering, he suggested,* "Should we just leave, then? Nothing left to do here..."

Brakus looked down at Felia with a bemused expression on his face, perplexed by her apparent annoyance. Typically he couldn't help but allow a grin to form, cheeky and playful rather than mocking or insolent, a truly innocent countenance childlike in its delivery. With a nonchalant shrug he made a strange snorting noise and turned to Jake, dismissing Felia's mood as a "chick thing"...
"Jah..." He flashed Jake a goofy grin. "All done here..." His head swayed left and right as he scanned their surroundings as if confirming there was, indeed, nothing left to do. "Morgan went to her ship over there..." His gesture was extremely vague, taking in most of the hanger to their right. "She was with Laney when I saw her last."
He started to move in the indicated direction before hesitating and raising an eyebrow at Felia.
"Coming?"

She didn't bother to answer the infuriating boy. Maintaining her artful pout she snorted slightly under her breath and hitched her satchel up higher on her shoulder before stomping past them both, the exaggerated motions causing Niminee to bounce around and scramble for purchase on her other shoulder. With a majestic toss of her head and a flippant wave of her hand she spoke a single word as she set off in search of Morgans ship...
"What-ev-errr."

Her eyes, too, went to Morgan, though there was none of the curiosity that the others held. The look in her eyes was more akin to distance, emptiness.. shame. Several long moments passed before she spoke again.
"You were there when I got here."
It wasn't stated as a question.
"Sorry."
You manage to hurt people you don't even know about yet. It's a wonder you haven't been put down.
Though apparently, you were already supposed to be dead.
Funny how these things work, isn't it?
Elly forced a slight smile onto her face, an attempt at normalcy, before turning her attention to the engine interior once again. Despite everything that had happened, there was a problem here that needed solving, and it was serving as a good place to turn her focus rather than on the path her thoughts were leading.

*Jake was briefly left behind as the both of them made off in search of Morgan's ship. He took a step to catch up but a realization made the following footfalls increase in speed.* "Hey wait! You can't just go on the ship! You gotta ask—" *He trailed off as he was far too late to stop them reaching the ramp and simply strolling into the ship.* "... first..." *He sighed and followed them the rest of the way. Noises from down the promenade drew his attention and he pushed past the pair to lead them to one of the engine rooms. Morgan, Laney, Niam, Koda, and Bolt were within, along with two adults.* "Hey guys... s-sorry for just barging in..."
*It wasn't in his character to throw his comrades under the speeder bus.*

Flinching when her friend raised her voice at Nasser, but she quietly trailed behind the Ewok master. The Human girl was positively livid, and as she spun about at the sound of Rawkill's voice, her sandy-blonde hair swung high, giving her a wild look. She jabbed a finger at Nasser, “This creespa was the last man seen with my brother!”She took a breath and straightened up, then closed her eyes, “Forgive me, Master Rawkill. But Salen has been missing for two weeks now. He's the only family I have left.”“Listen, kid,” said Nasser, “I sympathize. I do! But I have no idea who yer brother is.”Red frowned at him, observing his body language and gestures with a frown, and she spoke softly to the Ewok, “Master...I think he is hiding something.” “That's a lie! And I can tell!” Meeri had her training saber in hand, but left it unignited for the time being, “I saw him going into your ship with you.”She turned to Rawkill and explained, “I didn't think anything of it at the time because he worked the docks too, like Red, so I figured he was helping to unload stuff.”“Karking hell,” said Nasser, “kid, I promise ya, I didn't take nobody on board. Besides, it could have been anyone's ship. Does my ship look that unique to you?”“The Honest Liar is a modified YT-1000 light freighter,” said Red, aloud, as Barca approached the building crowd of observers, “it's paint scheme and modular engine design makes it stand out.” Casting Red a grateful look, Meeri turned back to glare at Nasser challengingly, when Bean, Red's jetpack/protocol droid piped up from behind her, “If I might be of assistance, masters, I keep a passive recording of everything going on wherever I am.”without a word, Red drew out a personal holocomm unit and plugged it to Bean with a cable, and she held out the device in her palm, and a holographic projection of the Feorin captain and Salen appeared immediately.“Hey kid,” said Nasser, “I need a hand with this last cargo crate, you mind givin' me a hand? I gotta rush this schedule to make it to my next port on time. I'll make it worth your while.”“Okay,” said Salen, and he followed the man up a boarding ramp and the distinct sound of a blaster's stun bolt being fired could be heard a short while later. Someone in the crowd gasped loudly.“Ferglutz,” said the real Nasser and he bolted, running up his ship's ramp and shutting the ramp so quickly. Looking around, Red noticed the thick fuel cable line and she realized it could be used as a anchor to hold the ship down, but she didn't dare do it by hand, as the backblast of a ship lifting off could scorch her. But a Jedi master would have no trouble wrapping it up with the Force.“Master, the fuel line could tie the ship down.” Rawkill gave a reassuring smile to Meeri. He understood her pain and the sense of loss she was feeling. It was only natural. She just had to make sure she did not give into such feelings and let them control her. He remained quiet as the two Padawans and the Smuggler argued it out. Watching and ready to jump in, if either of the girls let their feelings get out of control.
But both Meeri and Red made him proud. Even if Meeri had her saber in hand, it was never ignited once. And Red. She was able to sense the man's dishonesty. With her droid providing the final damning evidence that Nasser had indeed been the last person to see Salen. Rawkill set his gaze upon Nasser, as the man tried to leg it and make an escape in his ship. Rawkill saw the fuel line and gave a nodBarca, shut down traffic to this landing pad and summon security! The Overseer gave a nod before running off to summon security and get the lockdown implemented. Rawkill meanwhile closed his eyes, reaching out to the force through all his senses. His smalls arms raised into the air as he gripped the fuel line. The tubing suddenly became like a snake, as it writhed back and forth, before shooting across the surface of the landing pad. It wrapped around the landing gear and tied itself in a knot as the YT-1000 started to try to take off.
Rawkill pulled back, the cable yanking against the freighter back down onto the surface of the landing pad. There was a loud screeching noise of metal against metal, as the landing gear hit the deck. Rawkill then reached out one hand and gripped a cargo container. Lifting it through the air, he placed it atop the Freighter, before reaching out to another fuel line. It shot out of its storage spot and wrapped around another leg of the Freighter. Tying it down.
Rawkill lowered his hands as he opened his eyes, looking upon the struggling Freighter. A pair of LAAT Gunships swooped into view in the air above, the guns trained on the YT-1000That should hold him...Rawkill pulled out his commlink, which was patched through to the comm frequency of the Liar's GambitI suggest you power your engines down and step out of the ship Captain Nasser, you are surrounded and out gunned...Rawkill put the commlink away and turned his attention to Red and Meeri as a handful of Temple Guardians and Galactic Alliance Soldiers formed a line to either side of himYou two would do well to stay behind me... I do not think he will give up without a fight...Rawkill unclipped the pair of shoto sabers at his waist and ignited the green and blue blades, as the engines to Nasser's ship powered down. The landing ramp lowering a few moments laterThe hints of a smile played across Aderon's lips. He turned around and pointed his guards back to the ship, before turning back to Jajamal."You are right, I have no issues coplying. Once again, I am terribly sorry for any disrespect. I appear as a humble servant of the Jedi Order. I will follow you to the Council Chambers." Plur was once more surprised by Dooku's compliance. But he was also grateful for itVery well, follow me Count...The Temple Guardians formed up around Aderon, as Plur lead the way out of the hangar bay and through the temple to the Council Chambers

"Hey guys... s-sorry for just barging in..." *It wasn't in his character to throw his comrades under the speeder bus.* Funny that. It was totally in her character to throw Brakus under the bus...She had followed the excitable red-head up the boarding ramp and into the ship despite Jake's protests, a slightly mischievous grin forming on her face as she allowed her hair to cascade down to hide her insolence. Niminee twittered on her shoulder, seeming to feed off Brakus' enthusiasm, little front paws kneading the fabric of the blonde girls blouse.
Stepping into the engine room she paused and brushed her hair back with her right hand, eyes sweeping the scene in front of them from over the shoulder of Brakus, her diminutive stature barely allowing her the ability. Nodding in agreement to Jake's words she nudged Brakus playfully in the ribs."It was Brakus' fault. He has the patience and manners of a Reek."

"What...?"
His mouth formed an "O" as he stared blankly for a moment, the confusion on his face about as evident as a huge neon sign with "dumbfounded" written on it.
His headlong rush had carried him with near sub-conscious movements up the ramp and into the engine room, only a vague awareness as to what he was doing able to find its way through the ebullience of having seen the Yuzhaan Vong. His fervor in wanted to find Morgan and tell her about it had bypass such irksome consideration such as manners and etiquette, leaving him somewhat crestfallen as he realised his error. Subsequently he missed Felia's playful tone and felt shame rise up within...
... to manifest on his face as a crimson blush that spread upwards from his neck, nearly matching the garish tones of his hair. Casting a quick glance at Felia that spoke of her betrayal, Brakus allowed his eyes to drop to the floor, feet shuffling awkwardly as if they too were uncomfortable and were trying to slink away from the clumsy lout to which they were unfortunately attached.
"Errr.... Yeah. Sorry guys... A quick glance at the Jedi. "Sorry to intrude..."

By the time Cane had arrived within the Hanger bay repairs had been completed on the dry-docked Hammerhead - or at least those that could be done in the span of time before she was called back to active duty, and the ground crews were already aboard ready to depart Felucia once again. The noticeable shortage of any real Navy had not gone past Cane, but such concerns were not his - he had his orders and he would carry them out, leaving the rebuilding of Gadriel's Army to the Commanders. He wasn't even a Captain. He had recently been promoted to the rank of Sergeant before being placed on Felucia as Awen's personal guard, but of the 200 Clone troopers Gadriel had once commanded only a few dozen remained - and so everyone was pulling triple shifts. So it was left to him to babysit the Jedi. Having already passed word for the ground crews to prep the two V-wings they would be taking into the wild Cane glanced skyward just as the two Hammerhead Corvettes lifted into the lower atmosphere heading towards what seemed to be a light in the evening sky descending rapidly towards the planet...

*Dutch, spade and Crash stood hidden in the shadows directly below the large hangar that entered the building. This position was closer then they wanted to be, but their vantage point from the gunship offered no information on what this place was or who owned it. They watched a shuttle pass over before beginig the short climb into the hangar itself. Dutch slowly peeked his head over the edge of the floor and scanned across the large hangar. There were a handful of ships he recognized, but many he didn't. Beings went about their business, some dressed in robes similar to the ones Jedi wore. Then he spotted troopers in phase II armor. Things were not adding up.*
*Quickly and quietly, Dutch cleared the edge and moved behind a stack of crates. He was soon joined by the other two. Questions raced through his mind. Were these Jedi? Were those really clone troopers? He felt a tap on his shoulder from Spade. Dutch turned to see what he was pointing at. A short distance away was a ship like had never seen. The hull was made from a material he had never seen before, it almost looked organic in nature.*
"Oh finally. Troopers, I need your assistance." *Dutch and crew turned around with a start at the sound of the voice. There, standing in front of them, was a red 3p0 protocol droid.* "It appears as if some form of wildlife as made it into a supply room. For the life of me I don't know where it went or how it got in. I am a aftiad that if I do find it I won't be of much use getting rid of it. Would you remove the creature for me?"
"Uh..sure. Why not." *Dutch answered almost hesitantly. The droid didn't seem to realize that they didn't belong. Though if they could use the droid to blend in, then maybe they had a better chance of not getting got caught.*
"Wonderful! Follow me if you would." *The droid began to lead them across the hangar, towards the heart of the facility. Dutch gave Spade and Crash a quick glance, before focusing on his surroundings. He was suddenly having second thoughts, it was to late now though.*

As the droid rounded the corner into a supply room six troopers in forest camo phase II clone armor surrounded the three clones, blasters all raised to prevent them from getting any further Idea's about raising their own or running - though beyond that no hostile action was taken. One of the troopers with the markings of a Sergeant stepped forward and half lowered his Blaster to address Dutch whom he assumed lead the trio of intruders.
"Identify yourself..."He glanced at the droid that had lead them into their little trap and motioned for him to leave"Get gone, clanker"
The group of troopers had been spotted approaching the Base - but the matter of defenses being what they were and the general lack of military discipline about the base lately had prevented anything from being done about it - or even a dispatch party to have been sent out after the crashed Acclamator that had been reported entering the atmosphere nearly a night prior. Regardless - with Lucian and Jez gone, Cane was now in charge and he was preparing to leave the base anyways so the chain of command now dropped to a mere Sergeant. Gadriel's Army had grown thin indeed to be stretched over so many worlds as they have been of late.
"Come on now... I havn't got all day."

*Dutch almost gave a groan at having walked straight into this. Far to easy, he thought, should have seen it coming. Remaining calm was the first step in defusing the situation, just answer his questions. Dutch lowered his weapon and raised his hands some to show he wasn't going to be a threat.* "Easy Sergeant. We mean no harm." *Dutch reached up with a free hand and removed his helmet. He looked like a typical clone trooper with a military cut and stubble on his face.* "I'm Captain Dutch. Designation CC-7138. I'm a captain of the Grand Army of the Republic. This is Sergeant Spade and Sergeant Crash. We were in route to reinforce Republic forces on Felucia, until we crash landed on the planet's surface."
*He glanced around for a second before asking the question A simple question.* "Where are we? Our intel says this building doesn't even exist."

The five other clones all raised their weapons to follow the motion until he removed the helm and his faced was revealed. They all looked back and forth between eachother for a few moments - every one of them stone still and perfectly silent. Finally their Sergeant found his voice, but it was clear he was shaken by - something.
"This is a secure location - I am afraid we'll have to detain you until your identity can be verified through the proper chain of command - I trust you understand? He gave a hand signal and the five other troopers lowered their weapons to an en guard position, never really relaxing completely. The Sergeant moved forward and raised his free hand for dutch's weapon."Also I would ask you to tell your men outside on the machinery to stand down - It will take a few hours, but we will be able to quarter all of you and send out a rescue team to salvage what can be salvaged from the downed ship..."
The Sergeant made another hand sign - one that would have gone unrecognizable to the older generation of clone as they were grown decades apart from one another - and receiving the signal two of the six broke away and disappeared around a corner.
"In the mean time if you would come with me, I will escort you to the base dormitories and get your command team situated, Captain."

*The atmosphere around the troopers changed drastically when Dutch took of his helmet. His appearance seemed to unsettle them for some reason.* "I understand." *Reluctantly, Dutch and his allies handed over their weapons. With a single command, the gunships stood down. The Admiral had been update and prepaid for the rescue team.* "My men are standing down. The Admiral has been updated of the situation and is preparing to receive the rescue team."
*The signals the trooper used were unfamiliar with Dutch, then again this entire situation seemed unusual.* "Lead on Sergeant."

*Ellie shook her head at Kaiyas response. She could almost feel her sisters uneasy about flying anything. They entered the hangar and began making their way over to Cane.* "No, no he doesn't seem like the waiting kind."
*She gave a sideways glance at her twin. A mischievous smile formed on her face.* "You know. I could teach you how to fly. This is the perfect opportunity. The speeders would be a much better start then jumping straight to something the size of the Gladiator." *Her expression become more somber for a moment.* "Besides. I might not always be there, or able to, fly the ship. Lessons would be good for you, just in case."

Kaiya arches an eyebrow when Ellie suggests there might be a time they would be apart or when she would be unable to pilot for some other reason, both ideas discomforting and, for Kaiya, of such remote possibility that they do not bear consideration, illogical as she knows the thought to be that either possibility were all but impossible given the lives they lead by virtue of their vocation.
Shaking her head after a brief pause in which, pragmatism for the moment outweighing emotion as her training has led her to seek to do at all times, Kaiya says, "Maybe another time, vod. Now is not the time to add teaching me to fly to what we have agreed to do. Best that we focus on finding the artifact. Besides, she adds with a grin, if I ever find I need to fly something, I can always find a droid to fly the something in my stead. Or, she concludes with a shrug of her shoulder, hire a pilot to pilot whatever it is that needs piloting."

*Ellie gave a small grin and shook her head.* "Can't avoid it forever vod. Don't let it scare you." *She leaned in some and gave a teasing smile.* "Unless, you are afraid. What would your Master say about that?" *Ellie knew this might backfire in long run. For right now though, she was just happy to mess with her sister.*

Near the back end of the hanger where a squad of V-wing Airspeeders had been unloaded - two of them had been taxi'd out towards a makeshift launch strip near the back exit of the hanger bay. As the two Jedi approached Cane was already finishing pre-flight checks to make sure everything had been taken care of after unloading them from the transports. These had not been in the sky for quite some time. Approaching the two Jedi he looked from Kaiya to Ellie, whom from their banter would be the pilot.
"They're simple enough to handle, just keep them under 200 Kph... they afterburners havnt been fired for some time and im not sure what going supersonic in them without a warmup would feel like... best to avoid it. We're not going that far regardless."
He handed the pair of Jedi their helmets - each with a linked communicator within them and then turned without another word back to his own V-wing mounting the flight ladder without much effort and falling into the cockpit as if born to it. Seconds later there was a high pitched scream as the engines shot to life and the Airspeeder moved onto the tarmac strip. With this much power they really only needed about 50 feet to launch - but even so a skilled pilot could get them off the ground in half that. Cane gunned the thrusters and a flare of exhaust and flame shot from the single engine right behind the cockpit and the V-wing launched itself forward - faster ... faster ... and lifted off the ground just past the halfway mark and shot into the air with a tight spin.

Smirking at her sister with a triumphantly arched eyebrow, Kaiya replies to her taunts, "My Master would say that a wise individual knows and accepts their limitations rather than endangering themselves and others, vod."
Accepting the helmet from Cane when it is presented, Kaiya watches him depart for his V-wing, her expression revealing more than a little trepidation after his warning about afterburners and keeping under a certain speed. As Cane's V-wing roars off, Kaiya reassures her twin in a shakily confident tone, "Not afraid, nope, just wisely accepting my limitations and letting you handle the flying for now. I think starting to learn on a slower ship that doesn't come with a warning about afterburners not being fired would be more prudent."

"Then how do we know what our limits could be if we don't try and break them?" *She took the helmet from Cane and put it on. The roar of the v-wing and it's rapid take off brought a smile to her face. She turned to her twin who seemed even more sure then ever to not learn to fly today.* "I take back what I said, vod. I'm excited to fly this thing."
*She quickly climbed into the cockpit and strapped herself in. Her eyes ran over the controls to build a quick mental image of where everything was at.* "Come on Kaiya. Let's get this thing in the air."
