"Yep!" *Koda boasted proudly.* "I'm..." *He trailed off, deflating.* "... the heavy? I dunno, do we even have roles?" *Morgan and Laney giggled at him, though Morgan had taken notice of Elly's use of that odd language again. She still couldn't place what it was, though she believed the word was equivalent to "thanks" based on the context.*"You speak Mandalorian?" *... of course Niam would recognize it. Although that just brought up many other questions...*"All my life." Her reply brought with it a small, nostalgic smile, and her left hand briefly tightened over the device she held. Then the moment seemed to pass, and she started to turn her attention back to the engine panel.. only to pause almost immediately."Heavy's an important role to have, y'know, Koda." Once more her features turned to a smile. "Someone's gotta do it." With that being said, Elly turned properly and resumed her work. Before she touched the hydrospanner to the last bolt holding it in place, however, she looked down at the crystal device and sighed."Jedi Eisahn, could you.. could you hold this for me?" Don't wanna let go of mommy?Despite that not being the reason for her hesitation, she still winced mentally..Eris had been briefed on the crystal device her charge carried, of course, and knew that she needed to guarantee its safety as well. She moved over to the former crime lord and carefully took the device from her hands, remaining alongside the woman now."Thanks," she said again, though this time it was in a language all present could speak.Still such a charmer. Her shackle passed over to her escort, Elly was free to undo the final bolt; she took the panel with her free hand and lowered it gently to the deck before taking a look, motioning for Bolt to come closer and point his light inside..

She silently stalked away, the bad feeling getting worse than before. As she sought the Jedi administrator, she noticed Meeri, an student about her own age, angrily brushing past her, heading straight for Ran Nasser. So focussed on the other student, Red bumped headlong into someone, and she looked up, then down, because it was Rawkill. “Forgive me, master.” After a moment's consideration, she decided to reveal her feelings about Ran, “Captain Nasser has...arrived, with the newest supply of power converters.” “DON'T GIVE ME THAT SITHSPIT!” said Meeri, jabbing a finger at Ran's face, “WHERE IS MY BROTHER!?!” Rawkill entered the Hangar Bay, artfully dodging the heavy foot traffic coming and going from the Hangar Bay. He missed the peace and harmony of the Talus temple, or even the pre-war times of Felucia. It was just one of the disadvantages of being an Ewok on a world full of human sized and larger people during a war effort. Everything that was going on here, was vital to the Temple's running and the continued Jedi Operations throughout the GA territories and their excursions into FO held areas.
Rawkill made his way across the hangar, searching for Red. It was almost time for her to wrap up her duties here in the hangar for the day and begin their next training session. As he looked over to where Overseer Barca was, the Nikto pointed over towards thee landing pad that he had sent Red to clear. Rawkill gave a quick nod to Barca, before continuing on his way through the crowd. It was because of these crowds, that he didn't see Red until she was quite literally right on top of him. He stumbled back a couple footsteps, before before raising hiss gaze to look up slightly at RedDon't bee sorry. It's a busy place...He studied Red for a moment, sensing her distrust of Captain Nasser. Something about the way she spoke of him, made him suspect there was something more to her distrust of him. In truth, Rawkill didn't much trust the Captain either. But Barca had yet to find someone else willing to deliver the power converters they neededYou do not trust him... And you are wise to do so. But unless we find something concrete that is wrong with him, we can't afford to stop trading with him...Rawkill was suddenly drawn towards Ran and Meeri, as the young girl started to yell loudly at the manHold that thought, and follow me...Rawkill lead Red back across to the landing pad she had just came from. Allowing them to more clearly hear the on going conversationI ain't seen your brother darlin. And even if I had, he made his choices...As the last of the crowd parted, Rawkill strode across the cleared landing pad and stopped just off to thee side of Ran and MeeriYou vile piece of...Meeri! What is going on here? Care to explain yourselves?
”One can never be to careful,” said the Count to his guards, ”especially when you have a family like mine. I don’t know how much the Jedi Order has changed, but I’m not exactly expecting a warm welcome. I don’t think they will attack me before I explain my intentions though.” The trio of ships descended into the hangar, the copper colors and Geonosian design standing out against the dull grey of the hangar. Putting on his gloves and clipping his lightsaber to his belt, Aderon stepped to the exit of his shuttle. The rear hatch of the Solar Sailer opened, and out stepped Aderon, looking well as ever. He looked about for a moment before stepping out of his ship. He paused for one more moment before he began searching for a Jedi to assist him. Jedi Master Plur Jajamal, the Jawa Jedi Master, had been alerted to the approach of three ships of Geonosian design which had requested clearance to land at the Jedi Base. Behind him, strode a pair of Jedi Temple Guards. It wasn't long, before they found Aderon wandering about, looking for helpGreetings, and welcome to Felucia. I am Jedi Master Jajamal. How might I help you?

Aderon turned around looking at the short, hooded creature who walked up to him. Though he was small, Aderon sensed that he was strong in the Force. “Well hello there, my little friend. I’m looking for a meeting with the high council.” As he extended his hand for the Jawa to shake, he casually moved his cape slightly, briefly revealing his curved, polished lightsaber hilt, just to bring the message home that he meant business.

*The Gladiator rumbled into the hangar and sat down on its landing struts. With one defiant loud roar, the engines shut off and slowly wined down. Ellie leaned back into her seat and stared across the hangar for a minute in silence. Without looking at her twin, @kaiyaordo , she stood up and headed for the loading ramp.* "I guess we should find someone to help us out then."
*She reached the bottom of the ramp and began to look around. There were a few faces that she recognized, but many she did not. A small mischievous grin formed on her face as she gave her twin a sideways glance.* "Maybe we can find that guy that was here earlier. You know, the one you made friends with. What was his name again?"

Plur just stood and stared at the man for a moment. He should have expected such a lack of respect. Especially from someone that dressed so richly. Had the Jedi Order exhausted its resources such that this was what they were being forced to deal with now. The worst part, was that the man intentionally flashed his saber. Like it was some sort of law enforcement badge. He intentionally ignored the gesture, deciding it would be best to let this man act as he felt he was entitled to. Plur gave a nod of his head to the guards, before reaching up to shake the mans handOf course. And who might I let them know is asking?

Dooku could sense the resentment the Jawa felt at him. So drawing himself up, he began to speak. “I apologize, Master Jedi. I did not mean any disrespect. Let’s start over, shall we.” Aderon bowed before the Jedi Master, his guards following suit. He stood up, beginning to introduce himself. “I am Count Aderon Dooku of Serenno, Grand Nephew of Darth Tyranus. Although we may be related, I assure you I have not followed his Dark Side teachings. I most humbly request to meet with your council. Please, do not resent me for my disrespect. I am merely a newcomer, in the dark about Jedi Procedures.”

The silence around the Yuzhaan Vong was a blissful calm for her, an emptiness that was both comforting and disconcerting at the same time. As she retreated further into that silent void she seemed to feel herself shrink as her presence diminished into a nothingness that made her gasp slightly under her breath. She no longer felt the Force! As if it had been sucked into the yawning chasm that was the Yuzhaan Vong, the Force vanished from Felia's sight to leave her groping blindly in the dark...She let her gaze wander again, a slow sweep of the faces on her right first, tracking around to once again narrow at the ugly Ithorian who stood with irritating calm and patience. She still didn't respond to Master Gannor, her gaze moving past him to track across the faces on her left, coming to rest on a small blonde girl. Finally she allowed her impassive expression to break into a slight smile that she hoped was sinister more than it was warm, eyes locked on those of the girl. Her eyes met the hard stare of the strange alien woman, her own gaze frozen by the turmoil going on within, her jaw set tightly and her brown furrowed into harsh lines. As the woman smiled Felia held the gaze, still locked still as if paralysed in the moment. Niminee shuffled uneasily on her shoulder as if sensing her friends disquiet, emitting a soft chattering sound in her ear."Its... its so dark..."The words were barely more than a whisper, an exhalation of air with meaning to it, heavy with the faintest stirrings of panic. Her right hand clutched tight the strap from her satchel while her left fluttered strangely to the side as if seeking something to grab onto. She had lost hold of Jake as she had laid eyes on the Yuzhaan Vong but now regretted the lack of contact with him. With a slight heave of her shoulders she glided forward in the direction indicated, hem of her robeskin lapping lazily at the deck, keeping her feet obscured from view. Her gait was steady and elegant, back straight and shoulders set, showing no indication of the unease within.. As the Yuzhaan Vong moved away so to did the void, though it only partially freed her from the suffocating absence. So deep had she retreated within, so thoroughly had she dampened down her presence, that she still struggled to get her senses working again. Having been attuned to the stirrings and manipulations of the Force from as far back as she could remember the sudden absence was breathtakingly strange for her. So intent had she been on shutting out the riot of noise that she hadn't taken into account what she was sacrificing to do so.Allowing her eyes to close she relaxed her barriers somewhat as the crowd began to disperse, moving away as Chalco, Molan and the Yuzhaan Vong left the Hangar. Her breathing slowed and her body eased from the rigid posture it had adopted.Slowly the cacophony of emotion returned, but manageable now as she gently eased of her restraints, allowing the Force awareness to dribble back to her bit by bit...

*Ellie bit her lower lip as she glanced around the hangar. She finally decided to go find someone, ad everyone her seemed busy. Giving her twin a nudge on the shoulder, she motioned towards the med bay before heading in that dorection.* "Come on vod. Let's go find someone."

In fact, he was somewhat surprised the man had picked up on his frustration. Yes, the man had a lightsaber. But just about any Padawan could build one. And in the right black market circles, one could just simply purchase one. It was a trade they were trying to crack down on. Plur turned his thoughts back to thee situation at hand, as Aderon and his guards gave a bow of respect, before Aderon introduced himself properly.
A new Count Dooku. That was willing to acknowledge his relation to the former Count that turned to the dark side. Well that was interesting. Very interesting indeed. It was too good an opportunity to not let him meet the council and learn more of this new Count Dooku. The Temple Guardians looked to Plur, waiting for him to give the order to arrest Aderon or send him away. But no such order came from the JawaIf you intend to meet with the council, then your guards will remain here, and you will accompany me and the Temple Guardians alone. If you are earnest in your actions, then I doubt you will have any issues complying with this...

The hints of a smile played across Aderon's lips. He turned around and pointed his guards back to the ship, before turning back to Jajamal. "You are right, I have no issues coplying. Once again, I am terribly sorry for any disrespect. I appear as a humble servant of the Jedi Order. I will follow you to the Council Chambers."

What was his name again?" Oblivious to her twin's teasing and often literal minded to a fault, having been trained as a Jedi for so long that the litany of possible implications inherent in her sister's use of the word friend simply do not occur to her, Kaiya takes the suggestion that they find Lucian at face value, answering, "Lucian. I think he said he had something to do in the medical center, so we might find him there," she says with a hint of uncertainty in her tone; her attention when Lucian and Aerandir, deftly managing what had at the time seemed like five or six matters at once, had been speaking had been primarily on what the Jedi Grandmaster had been saying in reply to Ellie, Kaiya is not sure that her recollection of what Lucian had said to the Grandmaster is accurate.
Nodding when her twin suggests that they head out of the hangar, Kaiya falls into step beside her and follows her sister as they continue on for the cloning and medical facilities.

*Jake had been watching along with the rest of the kids, though thanks to his small stature he was unable to get the clearest view. It was then, coupled with Felia suddenly losing physical contact with him, that he noticed the girl's almost trance-like state. She spoke, though he could barely make it out over the din of the hangar.* "What about 'dark'?" *he asked with a furrowed brow.
Despite whatever was influencing her, she was at least far more calm now than before. Something that seemed to subside when the Yuuzhan Vong—that Jake was only able to get a mere glimpse at—finally left the hangar, but she at least seemed more in control of herself.* "What happened?"
*He seemed somewhat distracted; so focused had he been on cheering up his sister and being concerned for Felia he hadn't taken the time just to notice the sudden void in the Force where the ship rested and its pilot walked. He'd heard about this before of course, but never experienced such a phenomenon... He couldn't even begin to imagine how Morgan felt about it.*

*The girl was having trouble staying in place. She shook and swayed, in a constant battle between running after the newcomer and rooting herself in place. Morgan probably had all the answers to everything the Yuuzhan Vong might ask! Or at least, the ones Master Gannor didn't have already... She should follow and be prepared to answer! But would she just also be getting in the way of things... ? If she was needed, the Falleen would have noticed and beckoned for her. Unless he assumed she'd know she was supposed to follow... ?
She groaned and even whimpered, torn between a sense of duty to her mother and a sense of respect for proper process. By the time she could even come to a decision, they had already left the hangar, leaving her stranded on the ramp. It still wasn't too late; she could bolt after them and force her way through the crowd.
At last she sighed and resolved herself to remain on standby, turning and reentering the ship. If she was needed, she'd be called. Besides, she currently had a guest with her, and it would be rude to just abandon her without a word...*
----
*Niam, Laney, and Koda had all been temporarily distracted by Morgan's sudden departure, but none of them opted to go after her. Especially with a stranger in their ship, with or without a guard. The boys decided to let her be; Laney had almost gone after her but the half-Zeltron remained present.
Elly however seemed to not notice her disappearance, instead passing a comment to Koda about how "heavy" was an important role, one that elicited a smug—if not goofy—smirk from the Devaronian. They simply watched her work until she asked her escort to take an item from her.*
"That crystal..." *Niam spoke, eyes narrowing behind his goggles as he examined it.* "What is that for?"
*Morgan quietly rejoined her friends at this time, Laney exchanging a smile with her. She was still a little unfocused, given their new visitor in the hangar, but she did her best to pay attention to her current atmosphere. Even if she could be called away at any time...*

"It was..."
She gulped a little and shook her head a little, sending her golden hair swishing back and forth across her shoulders. A slight frown marred her brow again as she blinked her eyes several times in order to regain her senses. Again she breathed in and blew out a slow breath, her voice steady and stronger when she spoke.
"It was very dark for a moment, Jake. I couldn't see... Couldn't feel."
Despite the strength returning to her words they nevertheless carried an undertone of dread, clearly indicated that whatever had occurred had troubled her greatly. Her head turned, eyes locking on the door through which Chalco and the Yuzhaan Vong had left through, her mind easily able to track where the strange emptiness had gone. There was sense of trepidation that went along with the void, something not directly warned through the Force, but a nebulous danger that prickled her senses.
She turned to Jake suddenly, casting a glance over his shoulder and into the dissipating crowd.
"Where's Morgan?"
Her eyes continued to roam the hangar as she also noticed that Brakus was no longer with them.
"Where's Brakus for that matter too?"

What is going on here? Care to explain yourselves? Flinching when her friend raised her voice at Nasser, but she quietly trailed behind the Ewok master. The Human girl was positively livid, and as she spun about at the sound of Rawkill's voice, her sandy-blonde hair swung high, giving her a wild look. She jabbed a finger at Nasser, “This creespa was the last man seen with my brother!”She took a breath and straightened up, then closed her eyes, “Forgive me, Master Rawkill. But Salen has been missing for two weeks now. He's the only family I have left.”“Listen, kid,” said Nasser, “I sympathize. I do! But I have no idea who yer brother is.”Red frowned at him, observing his body language and gestures with a frown, and she spoke softly to the Ewok, “Master...I think he is hiding something.” “That's a lie! And I can tell!” Meeri had her training saber in hand, but left it unignited for the time being, “I saw him going into your ship with you.”She turned to Rawkill and explained, “I didn't think anything of it at the time because he worked the docks too, like Red, so I figured he was helping to unload stuff.”“Karking hell,” said Nasser, “kid, I promise ya, I didn't take nobody on board. Besides, it could have been anyone's ship. Does my ship look that unique to you?”“The Honest Liar is a modified YT-1000 light freighter,” said Red, aloud, as Barca approached the building crowd of observers, “it's paint scheme and modular engine design makes it stand out.” Casting Red a grateful look, Meeri turned back to glare at Nasser challengingly, when Bean, Red's jetpack/protocol droid piped up from behind her, “If I might be of assistance, masters, I keep a passive recording of everything going on wherever I am.”without a word, Red drew out a personal holocomm unit and plugged it to Bean with a cable, and she held out the device in her palm, and a holographic projection of the Feorin captain and Salen appeared immediately.“Hey kid,” said Nasser, “I need a hand with this last cargo crate, you mind givin' me a hand? I gotta rush this schedule to make it to my next port on time. I'll make it worth your while.”“Okay,” said Salen, and he followed the man up a boarding ramp and the distinct sound of a blaster's stun bolt being fired could be heard a short while later. Someone in the crowd gasped loudly.“Ferglutz,” said the real Nasser and he bolted, running up his ship's ramp and shutting the ramp so quickly. Looking around, Red noticed the thick fuel cable line and she realized it could be used as a anchor to hold the ship down, but she didn't dare do it by hand, as the backblast of a ship lifting off could scorch her. But a Jedi master would have no trouble wrapping it up with the Force.“Master, the fuel line could tie the ship down.”

*Felia's response was concerning but Jake could only wonder if, somehow, the Yuuzhan Vong's arrival was the cause of it. He himself wasn't aware of such a reaction being a known side effect of Yuuzhan Vong presence; in fact, more often than not, their presence—or more accurately lack thereof—wasn't even noticed.
He was unable to spend more thoughts on the subject when she asked about the whereabouts of Morgan and Brakus. He could sense the former still present and he was honestly surprised she hadn't followed the Yuuzhan Vong, but the question about Brakus cut off his reply and he frowned, looking around.* "Brakus?" *he called out.
... did he break off after the Yuuzhan Vong?*

The flaming mop of Brakus could soon be seen as the crowd thinned, bounding towards them as if afloat on the enthusiasm that bubbled within. His face was etched in an excited grin as he swerved around an Aqualish holding a piece of coolant hose, blue eyes sparkling under his toussled mane. His satchel slipped off of his arm as he skidded up to them, causing him to bend over awkwardly to snatch it just before it hit the floor. He seemed ridiculously pleased with the achievement...
"Did you see her? Did you!?"
His hands worked animatedly in front of him, as if he were describing the details of some starfighter battled with them.
"She had the scars and tattoos and... and... The thing on her head! Did you see see the thing on her head!?"
Finally he stopped for breath, mouth working like that of a fish out of water.

Unable to shake the misgivings that plagued her Felia couldn't help but find Brakus' blind enthusiasm irritating, her own demeanor running counterpoint to his gusto. With a faint scowl, lips forming into a pout, Felia folded her arms across her chest and fixed the tall, red-headed boy with a stern glare.
"Way to demonstrate that Jedi calm we've been working so hard to cultivate..."
Her tone was dry and sardonic, doing her best to imitate the lofty tone she had her from some of the Masters when they were dressing down the more wayward of their flock. With a contemptuous flick of her head she sent her hair fanning back over her left shoulder, removing it from where it had threatened to ruin her glare by spilling across her face.
"And its called a headdress. If you had paid attention in class you'd have known that."

She did not, however, fail to hear Niam asking about the ramshackle device that had been keeping her sane since she had arrived on Felucia.Really oughta try fixing it up..She paused her work, spending a few more moments in unmoving silence as if stoically examining the engine's interior, before she backed out and sighed."It.. keeps me stable."
