At Mary's question, Plur used the force to float a small printed bill over to the Padawan, detailing the costs associated with the parts and labour that had been used by Mary. Plus paused briefly to give a short nod in return to Master Kenobi's bow, before returning to Mary Whilst the ship itself is yours, the parts and equipment that you used to repair the vessel were property of the Jedi Order. As you can see, it comes in a little under a million credits... Obviously we don't expect you to pay it off immediately, but I have no doubt your new Master shall be able to help you with this... It was then that Plur motioned from Mary to Gene, turning his attention to the man Master Kenobi, thank you for arriving so promptly. Admittedly, I would have prefered to allow you some time to yourself after your time away, but the galaxy does not allow us such rest. Master Gene Kenobi, please allow me to introduce you to Padawan Mary Cerulea. Padawan Cerulea, meet Master Kenobi...

A quick glance over the list showed that it was in order, unfortunately. That meant she truly was deep in debt to the Order. & on top of everything else, they had assigned someone that looked like they spend all their time reading books all day as her new trainer. It was a complete insult. Mary could feel the annoyance in all of this pushing against her shields. First the fight, then Naan, now a debt, Dandy leaving & a ponce taking his place. The voices in her head that no-one else could hear certainly weren't helping.
-Titana (whispering) Give in, Give in, Give in.
-Jasper (whispering) Be calm, Be calm, Be calm.
Mary could feel the Force pulling up around her in the familiar mantle that had saved her life so many times. She flicked a finger at the man, as if she was shaking a drop of water off the tip of her finger. The mantle spiked outward in a sharp needle of force aimed at the man's gut.

It did not take long beyond the introduction to his new padawan, that he could feel an aura of disdain cloud about her. Or a semblance of one. Gather it did, and at the point of one of her rested fingers he could feel the Force begin to pull and focus; something that he knew all to well could not bode in anyone's favor within these chambers. Lowering one of his hands from his folded arms, he waited as the young woman's technique revealed itself. Almost instantaneously, and somewhat astonishingly, he felt a collection of Force energy as it struck out at him, giving him mere seconds to use his own momentary focus to block the invasion.
Closing his eyes, breathing and taking note of the small wound to his hand, the Jedi Master took to focusing on this padawan's latent ability before her own personality. He had yet to hear what she had to say to him, yet he had already seen how she felt through a physical display. She was talented, he would give her that.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Mary. I look forward to our time together." Though the pain had subsided he could still feel the residual Force echo around where he had been struck. If he was to train her, there was a great deal she'd yet to learn.

Plur remained seated and calm, even as Mary gathered the force to her and directed an attack towards her new Master. He had expected some sort of reaction from the girl, from the little he knew of her introduction to the Jedi Order and assignment to Knight Wriyte, and thankfully Master Kenobi seemed to take things well enough. Turning his attention to focus on the pair, he picked up his datapad and sent a pair of datapackets to their datapads Padawan Cerulea, please do try not to kill your new Master... Introductions aside, Master Kenobi, I am assigning you and your new Padawan to aide in the reconstruction efforts of the Vanishing Place. It's an old Imperial Prison, and in much need of repair, and with the threat of an Imperial Resurgence on the horizon, Master Calmcacil's new Alliance will be in need of a place to detain criminals. All the required information has been forwarded to your datapads. Any questions? Otherwise, you're all dismissed...

Nemo had wondered the base for a number of minutes and was unable to find anyone he recognised, as he thought. He was, subconsciously, making his way towards the council chamber. if there would be any Jedi he recognised in the base, they would probably be there. Nemo had thought about who he knew in the Jedi that might still be alive and/or prominent members of the order. He had come up with two names, Raven Alora and Aerandir Calmcacil. Both Jedi Masters had been on the High Council when he knew them and he would very much like to speak to either of them. He had information that would fall on grateful ears in this uncertain time in the galaxy. As he walked around the corner he saw a sight he had not seen in a long time, Master Calmcacil.
"Aerandir!"
Nemo spoke aloud without thinking, he had been away for many years and not been in the company of a Jedi for even longer than that. He straightened his robes and slowly walked towards the fellow human Jedi Master. He spoke only to Aerandir but was not purposefully ignoring the woman with him.
"Master Calmcacil, may I speak with you? I have some information that the Council may find interesting." *It seemed Aerandir's self-assigned mission would be brought to a brief delay, as someone else had caught sight of him and called him out. He and Michelle—actually a twelve-year-old girl, not a woman—turned towards the source, seeing Master Nemo approach. Nemo addressed him again, this time as "Master Calmcacil," which elicited the faintest flickering of Aerandir's eyebrow, and adding that he had information for the Council.* "You had my name right the first time," *Aerandir corrected with a humorous smile.* "It's good to see you." *Then he stood a little straighter, appearing slightly more serious.* "I've just prepared to set out on an important task, so if what you've got to say can be said quickly, I'll hear it. Otherwise, two other Councilors await inside the Council Chambers, and I'll see to it that they hear you. I don't mean to seem impatient or rushing, but what I'm about to do is... well, let's just say it very well could be a matter of galactic importance."

"I will take no more of your time Aerandir."
Nemo stepped to the side to let both Calmcacil's past. He then, rather ungracefully proceeded into the council chambers beyond, seeking the Masters on the council. Hi news was important but it was far from urgent, at least that is what Nemo thought.

*In a way, Aerandir felt slightly guilty for turning down Nemo in this moment, and he couldn't help but admit some curiosity himself in the subject. But it was something he could glean at another time, as what he had said was true; the matter at hand was urgent. Giving a small bow, he spoke,* "I very much wish I could hear it myself, but all will become clear soon. May the Force be with you." *Straightening, he and Michelle past the Master and headed toward the hangar, where their grand mission would begin...*
~*~
*Meanwhile, in the Council Chambers, the party of four remained. Bruce's hologram had vanished as the man had returned to his own duties on Belkadan, leaving the male Chadra-Fan and female Skakoan Masters, as well as the human Master Bix McDouglas. Tom had excused himself, stopping at the doorway when Nemo entered, then departing behind him. Bix had also been approaching but stopped when he saw the new entry. The two Councilors had stood, themselves preparing to depart the chambers, when they took notice of their new entry.*
"Master Nemo," *the Chadra-Fan squeaked in greeting.* "Is there something we can be of service with?"

Nemo bowed out of respect for the masters before him. He was, in some ways, relieved that his name had not been totally been forgotten in the Jedi order.
"Masters, as you are no doubt away the Republic has crumbled due to factors too many to name right now. Once this had become apparent to me, we didn't often get the most recent news. I asked my men what they would like to do, I put it to them that the officers could return to their families and that the clones could be released from service. They, unanimously voted to stay in service with me. With the Republic now gone I have nowhere else for my Army and Navy to service except for with the Jedi Order. So I ask permission for my forces to be commissioned into the Jedi Order."
Nemo bowed his head slightly after finishing his little speech and left it up to the Masters to decide. They could go one of two ways, one being that the Jedi were not a military or that at this crucial time in galactic events, his forces were needed.

*The Masters—Bix included—had returned Nemo's bow, listening as he spoke of his army and how, after the dismantling of the Republic, they'd agreed to remain in service to him, rather than return home. He then concluded by asking for them to be commissioned into the Jedi Order.
The three Masters paused for a moment. Bix turned to look at Tookli Yandar, the Chadra-Fan male, and Jule Danbor, the Skakoan female, who seemed amused. Well, Master Yandar did, seeing as the Skakoan's expressions were hidden behind her environmental suit.*
"You just missed Master Calmcacil," *Master Danbor whirred,* "he would've— whrzt!" *There were a few more buzzes as the vocoder once again failed, no doubt curses from the Skakoan. She gestured at the Chadra-Fan, suggesting he explain instead while she attempted to correct the blasted contraption.
After a few squeaky snickers, Master Yandar turned to Nemo.* "As it turns out, Master Calmcacil has just left to form an Alliance between the free worlds. We have reason to suspect an Imperial uprising and he wanted to be prepared, gathering all the forces he can in the event of such an uprising. He would have been pleased to hear this.
"We would still be willing to commission them," *he continued,* "unless you'd rather see if they would prefer serving under the banner of such an alliance?"

The Jedi master listened to the Council members, concerned about the Imperial threat but glad that his forces would have a place. He had come to see Admiral Tza'uax and General Lightyear as his forces over the last few years and Nemo had adapted very quickly to military life. He had always thought in a more military way than other Jedi and he attributed to his relative isolation.
"I briefly spoke with Aerandir on my way in here. I understand now why he was in such a rush. I will ask the senior officers which flag they would like to fly under. However they would be very much interested in this 'Alliance' you have mentioned. Until such a time as we have decided or been given orders to the contrary, my fleet will remain in orbit to defend Felucia. You will be able to reach me there, thank you Masters."
Nemo offered a longer and deeper bow to the council members than before before leaving the chamber. He left the chamber with much to do, his discussions with his senior officers will not be a simple one.

Giselle and Sacuru continued to lead the way through the Jedi Base, the later typing out a message and sending it to their fellow members of the Jedi High Council, informing them that a representative from the Mandalorians had come with a proposition. A few moments later, the small party arrived to the doors of the Council Chambers, with the Guardians taking up positions outside the doors, before Giselle motioned for Neassa to continue following Sacuru and herself inside. A holo image of Rawkill was already present, the Ewok Jedi Master having not been overly busy when the message from Sacuru had come through, and so he had been able to call in to attend this meeting. Sacuru and Giselle took seats upon either side of the projected image, before Rawkill had a look around the chambers at any other attendee's, finally resting his gaze upon the Mando Female before them all =Jedi Master Rawkill= So... We've been informed that you bring with you a proposition for the Jedi Order. What do you come offering?

After being informed of the arrival of a representative of the Mandalorian people at the Jedi Base on Felucia, I had made the necessary arrangements to be present, after a fashion, via holographic image transmitted by imagecaster, my arrival conveniently occurring just as Giselle and Sacaru enter the council chambers where Master Rawkill's holoimage already waits.
Remaining silent for the time being, Master Rawkill opening the session with a statement that makes the reason for the Mandalorian's presence clear, followed by a direct question which, when answered, will illuminate the precise nature of the aforementioned offer in question, I patiently await the Mandalorian's reply while watching her bearing and overall demeanor to see what might be revealed of the delegate the Mandalorians have chosen to send to meet with us.

While following Masters Giselle and Sacuru to, she assumes, meet with the other council members present, Neassa considers how best to frame the offer she has come to present in light of the facts that she is meeting with members of the Jedi Order's High Council rather than a mere high ranking member as she had originally anticipated, and the fact that the Jedi, understandably if not somewhat surprisingly given what she understands of the Order's philosophy regarding the possibility of things such as redemption and forgiveness are concerned, have openly admitted that their Order still harbors some antipathy for the Mando'ade.
Unfamiliar with the hierarchy of the Jedi Order, Neassa does not recognize the Ewok that addresses her via hologram or Twi'lek also present via holo image, and though she is not introduced to them she guesses that both are Masters like Giselle and Sacuru given their presence on the High Council. "Masters, Neassa begins her address with a respectful bow in imitation of the one Giselle and Sacuru offered as she gathers the Jedi consider it a sign of deference or esteem, and she hopes to get things off on the right foot. Addressing the Bantha in the room as the Ewok's opening statement makes it all but necessary, Neassa continues by saying, The Mando'ade can well understand why the Jetii Order would harbor a degree of animus for us, Masters, but we also hope that you can understand that, with those that set the so-called Crusade against Force users in motion no longer in power, our people do not bear your Order any ill-will." While not an apology by any means, Neassa hopes that these Masters have not reached their positions without coming to learn enough of other cultures to understand how the Mandalorian's adherence to Resol'nare, which has a prominence and commands a similar degree of obedience from loyal Mando'ade as the Order's Code does of it's members, demanded obedience to the former Mand'alor's call to arms when it had been issued whether or not their personal views were in agreement with it or not.
Moving on to the purpose that has brought her here, Neassa wastes no more time spelling things she suspects the High Council members already know out than she feels necessary, and gets to her point as quickly as she feels she is able, "You, like the Mando'ade, have undoubtedly learned that the Imperials are gathering power once more. Their actions on Muunilinst and elsewhere make it clear that they are rising in strength, and their alliance with the Knights of Ren strongly suggests that they are, if not aligned with the Dark Side, not at all averse to using those who are for their own ends. With the fall of the Republic, there would appear to be no organized force large enough to stand against the Imperials, or to prevent them from spreading across the universe like a plague. Your Order has, in the past, stood against forces such as the Imperials who seek dominion over others, and the Mando'ade believe that it will do so again, if it is not already doing so. The Mando'ade have sent me to offer your Order and whatever other resistance force that might exist or be assembled to stand against the Imperials an opportunity to bid for our assistance in your battles, a chance to add our tactical prowess and strength to yours."

Sabo wonders into the High Council chambers, apparently during the middle of a meeting. A manadalorian, a woman obviously, stood in the middle of the chamber making a "sales" pitch to the present Masters. As he looked at each, whether in the flesh or attending by hologram, he recognized a few, but Raven wasn't present. An audible sigh escaped his chest, one mixed of relief and sadness. He finds a barren wall and goes to stand by it, waiting and listening.

Master Rawkill inclines his head briefly toward Master Roma as she too appears via hologram, whilst keeping his attention upon the Mandalorian known as Neassa, as she lays forth the reason for her visit. Indeed, more reports had been coming in from across the Western Outer Rim of a rising Imperial threat, and Garqi had been solid evidence that these Imperials were not remaining dormant, nor their Knights of Ren allies at rest. Now, more than ever, did the galaxy need a united front capable of holding the spread of this new Empire, and the Jedi had not remained idle on the matter, with the Alliance that Master Calmcacil had suggested receiving the full support of the Jedi Council. But, as it stood, the Alliance was far from ready to be revealed, and the less information the Mandalorians knew about it, the better, especially since it appeared they were also offering their services to these Imperials as well. There was much to consider, even putting aside the fact that many Jedi, even understanding as they were, would still need much time before fully forgiving those who had slaughtered many of their brothers and sisters =Jedi Master Rawkill= You are mercenaries, beholden only to the will of those who hire you, or the twisted dreams of a madman who holds the helm of your leadership. Even now, you come to us, speaking about the evils of these Imperials, and yet, I suspect, you are undoubtedly already in discussions with them to provide your assistance to them as well... But you say you come offering us a chance to add your tactical prowess and strength to the Jedi Order's, the same tactical strength and prowess, I imagine, that was broken upon the gates of Kuat at the hands of the forces that would later become the latest incarnation of the Galactic Empire. So, even if we had the funds, or resources, to make a bid for you to be outraged against these newest Imperials, what use would we have for a force that was unable to overcome the Sith at Kuat, when the force we face now, appears far more organized and wielding a strength greater than a single planet? We are not the Republic, we are merely Jedi, and we hold no great war chests, nor the resources of entire planets. So, what price would you ask of an order that fights for the freedom of all, and asks for nothing in return?

Neassa is not sure whether the Ewok intends to make his point as insultingly and dismissively as possible or if doing so is simply his typical way of expressing himself, nor is she particularly concerned with learning which of the two scenarios is true as it does not affect her mission. In the end, there is not anything untrue in the Jetii Master's observations either, however harshly they are put into words; for the Mandalorian people are often unabashedly and unashamedly mercenary at heart given the place warfare has in their culture, the Mando'ade did suffer heavy losses in the former Mand'alor's crusade just as all that were ultimately caught up in it did, and it is true that the Imperial's appear to have returned in greater strength than before.
Rather than allow misplaced pride to stir her to answer the Ewok in kind, Neassa keeps her tone as even and respectful as before as, after giving the other Jetii time to weigh in, she says, "The Mando'ade are well aware that your Order holds no great war chests, Master. I was sent to your Order because the fight to come is one that you are not likely to face alone, and your Order can now make whatever allies it finds aware that the Mando'ade, for a price, yes, can fight alongside them or even for them if that is what they wish. After a pause in which she debates whether or not to add to what she has said, Neassa, having decided that there can be no harm in offering the Jetii full disclosure, confirms, You are correct, Master, in your suspicion that my people are also offering the Imperials a chance to bid for our services. Allowing the first sign of her personal feelings to surface briefly, Neassa concludes by saying, There are those among the Mando'ade that, even with our recent shared history, hold great respect for the Jetii Order, and who would much rather fight with them in the war that is surely approaching than against them."

Rawkill waited a moment, looking to his fellow Councilors to see if they wished to comment, certain they were weighing up Neassa's response. His comments had been harsh, to be sure, but they were facing an enemy that Rawkill had faced first hand, and he had no time for casuals. If these Mandalorians were to ever participate in this war on the side of the Alliance, then he needed to be sure they were ready. Though, her admission that the Mandalorians were approaching the Imperials as well, meant that they were certainly not going to be revealing too much information to this emissary =Jedi Master Rawkill= You have yet to name a price that we may give to any potential allies we may make in pursuit of stopping these Imperials. And if such Mandalorians exist that they wish to fight alongside us, then their help would be most appreciated, and their charity would most certainly be rewarded in kind. After all, a good word from a Jedi, can go a long way to any aide the Mandalorians may need from former Republic worlds, that still hold the Jedi in high regard...

Tchun, my left lekku, curls around the outside of my left bicep as, after Master Rawkill has finished speaking, I order my thoughts so that I can add my own contribution to the discussion in light of the fact I believe the Mandalorians have come to learn what we or our allies might bid for their services rather than to name a price for those services. While I can understand the mistrust for the Mandalorian people I feel is subtlly threaded through all that Master Rawkill says, I am not sure that harboring such a sense of mistrust is necessary, but bear the posture he has established in mind as I plan my response so that we present a united front, and so that I reveal no more than he about what movements or allies our Order has made in light of the events suggesting the Imperials are once more gathering strength in preparation of moving to increase their influence in the universe.
Or, I begin once I have my thoughts ordered, if it is a bid your Clan leaders would have from us or whatever allies we might find to stand with in the times ahead, perhaps it would be best if you gave us a way to contact your people when we have made those allies aware of the opportunity you have presented to us, and have learned what they are able to bid. As Master Rawkill has said, while our Order would welcome any warriors of your people that would stand against the Imperials and the tyranny they will try and spread, we can make no monetary or material bids as we have little of either to offer. I also offer you and your people this advice freely, and without rancor or malice: be careful who you ally with or fight alongside because they offer you wealth or resources. Our Order learned that harsh lesson during the Clone Wars when we fought with the Grand Army of the Republic in the name of order and justice, only to find that we helped sow great evil throughout the universe. The lesson was one that nearly cost our Order its very existence, and so I would advise you and your people to consider carefully whether credits or resources are all that is at stake; for while the Imperials may be able to offer the Mandalorian people such material rewards, our Order and our allies can offer some things they cannot, such as the honor of fighting for a just cause, and the freedom from worry that you are, in the end, the ally of those that would see you destroyed if you do not submit to their will as they have used you to make others submit to it.

After the Ewok and the Twi'lek have spoken it seems abundantly clear to Neassa that the most she can hope to accomplish with this meeting is to make it possible for any allies the Jedi might have now or might make in the future to contact the Mando'ade should they decide to take advantage of the Mando'ade's services. Neassa finds it unlikely that the Jedi have truly not yet begun to makes any moves to find allies in response to the clear signs of the Imperials becoming a force to reckon with in the universe once more, but supposes that their mistrust for the Mando'ade is also understandable. The Twi'lek's advice, while it could be construed as self-serving to some degree given that it amounts in the end to suggesting that the Mando'ade side with the Jedi out of fear that the Imperials might eventually seek to bring the Mando'ade under their boot heels, is sound enough, and something Neassa has no reservations about passing on to the Clan leaders. While she had hoped to return to her people with a more substantial offer than advice and the vague hope of a possible future offer from allies of the Jedi, Neassa believes that those things are all she will find here. She cannot help but feel disappointed, given that she has little love for what the Imperials represent, yet suspects they will have made a more substantial bid that will make it highly likely that the Clan leaders will vote in favor of fighting for the Imperials. With a sincerely respectful bow to the members of the Jedi High Council present, Neassa says, "Thank you, Masters, for your time as well as for sharing your wisdom. I will share your advice with my people, and let them know that any among them who would prefer not to allow the Imperials to spread their oppression throughout the galaxy that your Order would welcome their aid. As for how the Mando'ade might be contacted should your allies wish to bid for our services, Neassa continues, providing the Jedi Council with a comm frequency that she will monitor personally before concluding , Thank you again, Masters. If there is nothing more, I will return to my people to let them know of what we have spoken of here."

Sabo had been listening intently to the conversation the whole time. Though the Council had made it clear that any monetary value to be gain was strictly limited, if not nonexistent, he believed there was something the Jedi could offer the Mandolorians in return for their aid. With measured practice, Sabo steps forward, approaching the Mandolorain.
"Masters of the Council, if I may?" He bows respectively. "I feel there is something we may be over looking in these negotiations." Turning to Neassa, Sabo smiles gently and bows slightly. "Though we can't offer you much at this time, it seems inevitable that a war is on the horizon. Now usually, after a war has concluded, the losing side's resources and domain are divided among the victorious parties. And since our order has no interest in spoils of war, I'd like to offer... with the blessings of the council of course, to act as mediator in negotiations between our allies and the Mando'ade during the post war meetings to ensure your aid is well rewarded."
Sabo looks toward the members of the council present for an agreement to his proposal, but something else occurs to him before any one could confirm or deny. "Now should we fail, obviously this proposal becomes invalid. But then what Master Roma said is guaranteed to come to pass, we've fought many versions of Imperials in the past. They do not share power with anyone, and your people will stand alone in defiance. Eventually though, the Mando'ade will be brought to heel."
He pauses breifly to allow his words to take effect. Just consider what you can gain by siding with our Order, not only money and territory either. Because as I understand, your people's last Manda'lor destroyed all the goodwill the Mando'ade had in the galaxy with his brutal hatred towards force users and the destruction he wrought through out the galaxy. Allying with the Jedi Order and its allies could go along way in restoring that goodwill. Finally finding yourselves on the side fighting for justice."
