Well then...I missed that memo. Coulda sworn you got at least a little approval. Since you were writing with two Councilors( or retired Councilors now).

hehe, yeah.... nope... I will admit I could understand the surprise, since Ade was a retired HC, and Leeza/Sin wrote the form for getting Non-Canon Species Approved, but yeah...

Hey guys, I'm sorry I put you all in a bind here, if I may say I'm flattered that you are all going to continue on without me and Dan what you said means a lot. But if I may make a suggestion as to what to do with Adrien.
He is a Firrerreon, a simple blaster shot would only put him down for so long, however, some sort of detonator would probably put him down for quite a while. That being said it would have to be done in a way that doesn't kill him, as I do want to eventually try to come back. My suggestion, have him be so badly injured that you have to rush him to Honoghr or wherever, have him put in some sort of stasis, and let his body heal itself with time. Keep him on the ship if you want.
I hope to come back but right now there is just so much uncertainty, I will make every effort to come back when I am ready. And honestly I only came back today to give you guys some answers. So, throughout the day if you have any questions ask away and I will try my best to answer them in a timely manner.
That being said, as Adrien is my main character, I may try to go ahead and tie up loose ends before I go. Unfortunately the process may be slower than you might like. I'll leave you guys to vote on it.

I thought it was at least brought up just a little. You know, since most of the PGC(retired or otherwise) was on our crew. Maybe it was a silent approval? *shrugs*

I think they've eased up a little on the races thing. I mean in light of an ever-shrinking number of regular writers. But I'm a little short-sighted on that matter, so I could be completely off base and talking about something that isn't fact at all. As for me being something else, I don't know about captaincy. I mean if people vote for it, sure, I'll do my best, but I've never considered leadership most of the time. Always was more of a maverick, do-my-own-thing most of the time without needing to look after anyone other than myself. That said, I'm willing to give it a try if everyone's cool for it. If I get too incompetent, however, don't hesitate to take over. >_> Anyways, Adrien originally had some ideas in mind about my character, and I had some too, which I was going to eventually reveal, in light of his departure though, I'm going to shift things around. So for now, I could work as a slicer/analyst/strategist for the team, and co-doctor, and if absolutely necessary, a crazy gun. You'll know if you ever see me use my tiny little weapon, but Fenrir, if your hearing is sensitive, I will suggest you cover your ears when I use my weapon. Uhm, anyway, who wants to move the fight along? In the bar, I mean. Hey guys, I'm sorry I put you all in a bind here, if I may say I'm flattered that you are all going to continue on without me and Dan what you said means a lot. But if I may make a suggestion as to what to do with Adrien. I'll leave you guys to vote on it. Oh my God ADRIEN!!! I mean...uh...hey, captain. Nice to see you're planning to come back. The injury idea is okay if you're the one suggesting it. Honoghr would be a safe bet. I mean we have no idea that we won't total your ship along the way...not uh that we plan to, but you know how things are like in this crazy galaxy...

Maybe it was a silent approval... who knows, but as Erly mentioned, they may have loosened up on fanon species, at any rate, I'll get some stuff together and see how it goes. Ade, don't be sorry, life takes strange turns, and there isn't anything you can do about it. I wish you all the best, and hope things work out well for you in the end. As to taking Ade to Honoghr, sounds like a good plan to me. it'd keep him out of further harm's way, and be easy for you to come back from, if/when you return. We'll do our best to keep the ship in one piece, but accidents can happen, so I won't make any promises... slicer/analyst/strategist for the team, and co-doctor, sounds like a good combo to me, we'll lock it in as for your gun, my hearing will be fine. It's not soo much sensitive, as it is more accute... As to the bar fight, I'm happy to move it along, since I've not had much posting to do as Fenrir so far... any objections? now, since Ade is around for questions, was there any plans for future jobs you had mulling around that we might be able to attend to? I know there was that whole abandoned space ship/station idea where we were retrieving some cargo that was mentioned back before Belial left, that we could perhaps modify and still use?

Ok, I think it'll be the Preacher. Question is, how do I find you guys?
As for stories and such, if Ade is coming back eventually, let him save his story ideas for when he's here to run them. Pretty tough to run somebody else's story when they're not around to steer it.
Give me till tonight to re-create the Preacher, and you guys can mull over how to find me / bring me onboard.
Atia would be a good source of trouble or work, btw.

Ps -- I'm on the PGC. I can champion the Worg, but it'll also be good to get some open discussion going about the race (which I think is super cool btw)

I don't remember Preacher's back story....If I did I would make a recommendation. Though, I do remember(vaguely) seeing Preacher on the 2.0 site before the crash.

For meeting Preacher, maybe he can be on Honoghr, or Kessel, and join our crew at one of those places? also Galdaart, I am well aware that you are on the PGC I appreciate that you are willing to champion the Warg, all the help is appreciated

Hey Spectre, I had used Preacher so infrequently that the backstory stayed mostly in my head. I think his only foray into IC interaction was on the space station over Yavin (?) in 1.5. I thought it might be a good place to introduce him, but it just languished, and nothing ever really came of it. I should have known then that trying to reach out to the Jedi would get me nowhere. Preacher was too edgy and different, and used the Force very differently to the rigid teachings of the Order. Anyways, he came from a backwater moon somewhere in the rim (I'll flesh that out when and if I need to remake the PC) and grew up under the wing of a lawman, learning the code. Essentially, the might-makes-right ethos of the old west. He took the lawman's place when the old man fell, and carries on his own brand of frontier justice. If he becomes a passenger, it's likely because he's searching for someone running from the law, and would get swept up with Draykon's crew along the way. That's about all the backstory I've got for him. Oh... and I based him off this picture. PreacherNow, as for Jorek, that's a more straight-forward question of 'how does he find the crew, and what makes him get on board? Thoughts?

Can I freeze Ade in carbonite until he's ready to come back?

HOW COULD SOMEONE FORGET ME?!?!? Ahem... Sorry. Anyway no objections to the fight being moved along. If someone else wanted to be pilot, and let Kiri be co-pilot that would be okay too. Since Kiri mentioned at work that all of you guys sound like you've got more experience and she was just wanting to start with something non-jedi. (It would be her first time writing as a pilot.)

You had to rat me out didn't you. About me, I work too much, and take too much school.
This is my first JvS rp, been in pernese, vampire, werewolf, and yeah... I preffered to go with a simple job, but I don't think Ill quite have the jargon all of you are expecting, So I imagine if someone else wants to fill the pilot position I can take a back seat and learn... As the copilot, maybe, or pilot in training.

It's fine, having technical jargon, or any general jargon is not a requirement. My vote is for you as pilot, since I'm not sure anyone else has any overly good skills as a pilot...

I vaguely remembered him from somewheres. Yeah the Yavinites had a tendency to ignore people around 1.5 and 2.0, especially if a character was against the grain. I barely worked with them in 2.0 but had to move on to Honoghr with my Jedi because he too, languished on Yavin.

Spectre can pilot his whitecloak but not a medium sized freighter. Someone with four arms would be way better qualified for pilot anyways.

I can help, no one should be constrained to their "specialty". IRL I'm just a nobody. Or okay, not a nobody, not quite a somebody either though. Like, I'd be someone in between anywhere and whatever. Sorry, rambling again...
Uhm, what I'm saying is I can help with just about anything on the ship, including sweeping, if necessary. But I hear there are Gamorreans on board? I'm not cleaning up after those...
Well, maybe I would, if I had to live there (the ship) for a while, but I will be grumbling the entire way, and everyone will hear about it.
So if the ship needs a co-pilot, happy to help. But yeah, not the best pilot in town. I normally drive a speeder at the most. Leave most of the flying to anyone else.

In answer to your question concerning Jorek, oh, I think you just need some measure of insanity to want to get on board. Finding the crew is easy enough. As I told Spectre about his character: I'm sensing a pattern. By that, I mean, on Juvex alone, and in a short span of time, there's already been three blastfights, not counting the one that's about to happen in a moment, I might add, during which time I suspect, we'll be running through the streets (as I believe the cantina isn't right next to the spaceport) blasting at authorities because there's just a lot of shoot-first-ask-questions-later going around the galaxy. It's quite easy to spot us, look for the people being shot at a lot, and running like crazy. That's not very helpful I know, but I'm just analyzing possible probabilities. The alternative is that something happens to stifle further violence, like someone in position to tell every to stop shooting holes into the roof of a nice little cantina.

Actually, we only have the slaves aboard, no Gamorreans, at least, not yet anyway.... So no need to worry about cleaning up after them. I also have no doubt we'll all be sharing duties aboard the ship, diversity will help keep things interesting. I have a feeling this bar fight is going to end with the entirely new crew all joining up at the same time, brought together by Ade's injury, and the fact they all happened to be in the same place, at the same time Anyway, as a side note, if no one is opposed to it, I'll get a post up some time tomorrow to progress this bar fight, and I'll also have Leeza take off, two birds with one stone so to speak. It'll also give some lead in for Spectre to sense his disturbance in the force and rush off to find the bar...
