You weren't the only one. The Jedi did it. Crom'nen did it. It never ends. I too was using the historical terms. Lord/lady were synonymous but gender specific. Also, I believed this was the same in Star Wars, as the Noghri called Leia "Lady Vader." So I thought I was being correct, and move over, so would Belf'ima.

However, her preference for Lord is WIDELY documented IC. This has been her MO since I started her on 1.0. I'm asking OOC for it to stop.

Sure, and I will follow through, but seeing as this is our first interaction, I had no idea about this, so I apologize, though she would still do it IC, if we ever meet again.
Crom'nen himself, however, would probably know this and will make the adjustment.

I can almost guarantee that Sin will never meet your Senator in person ever again. She's not really a supporter of the Republic nor will she have need to address it further.

I have returned to the website after a hiatus of almost a year and would like to bring in a new senator. Are there any current republic worlds that need representation, and if not, could I represent a planet that is not one of the "jvs worlds?"

Yes to both, it's entirely up to you which you do.
Osarian had a senator, but that writer left. Corellia and Naboo were both republic and that writer has gone AWOL ... I think, (I haven't been the most active writer myself of late) Drall, Selonia, Tallus and Trallus, aslo in the corellian sector, have no writers currently that I can recal, though I think someone used to write for Selonia. Any other world that is currently not claimed, on or off the boards, you can pick up and then begin writing as their senator if you like.

I narrated the approval of Belf'ima's request and motion to move things along. Unless there is anything else that needs to be brought before the Senate, I suggest we take a recess. Sel and Ludo, feel free to jump in and present something in the rotunda if you have anything you'd like to present to the senate (as your respective senators please).

We've just adjourned a session of the Senate at large. Lord Sinastra addressed the Senate and called us weak and stormed out, advising all Republic worlds to quit as well. Then Bel'fima addressed the Senate to inform them that Ryloth and been attacked, and that the Jedi ordered the fleets there to leave, leaving Ryloth open. They also abandoned a damaged Star Destroyer, which was dropped onto the capital. Belf'ima also informed them that Crom'nen himself has arrived there and taken control of the ensuing ground battle. She was asked about sending fleets, but said that since the fleets would be days out via hyperspace, it would do no good. She then requested that the Republic fulfill their end of the bargain when Ryloth joined, to not just provide ships, but training for Twi'lek crews as well.
Did I miss anything? Anyone?
And Kor.... it's good to have you back man.

Hello Republic People. Have you got any interest in Corulag? The link is to an rp in which Five has given a Jedi Healer on Corellia information regarding unrest on that planet. It isn't really the Jedi's business per se, but I thought I would ask what you want done with it, in light of the Cold War breaking out? So far, I had thought to pass the information along to the Senate. Also, in the process of finding out if we have any Jedi that want to go and investigate. I simply have not got the time to take on this one myself.

Also, is there someone among the current Jedi that the Senate could summon, and demand a few explanations? Dav had been going to play that role but he is gone....

And with that you remind us of all the plot holes. There are currently only three active High Council members, myself, Aerandir, and Mike. I'm willing to work with the Republic, but I'm not about to take on responsibility or blame for whatever Dav worked out. Not to mention, since Jade has never had any dealings with the Republic, she'd likely ignore something so peremptory as a 'summons.'
Not to mention, I literally have no idea what happened on Ryloth in terms of rp whether ooc or ic.

Welcome back Koronov, and Mike was at Ryloth, so he can stand in for that bit.

And with that you remind us of all the plot holes. Yep.... :/ And I don't want you or anyone else to feel like you have to be the scapegoat, we just need to find a way for the Republic to move forward on the same timeline as the Jedi. Right now, even Koronov, as one of the more pro-Jedi figures in the Senate, has IC reasons to be upset and to demand answers. You know, call a committee hearing, like any good politician... ... if Mike could handle it, that would be great, but if not, maybe we need to simply let it get lost in the bureaucracy and written into the background, and start fresh.

Hehehe. Thanks Koronov. A few weeks ago I decided I wasn't going to be that anymore. Life has been much better since. Mike might be back. If not, I could potentially talk to Koronov since he did get terrified by my pet vornskr once. But again, I don't IC have details on Ryloth so I don't know if that will solve anything for you.

Ryloth is covered. As soon as we can wrap up the battle, Crom'nen is coming back. Mahir has a Knight NPC there that is going to stand for the scapegoat. Crom'nen will bring this guy with him, and then hold something of a trial before a meeting of the entire Senate. Crom'nen will do what he does best (manipulate, contrive, etc.) Believe me, Crom'nen has a plan as to how to work it out.
Then the only thing I have to do is to procure a fleet. I never possessed on because I didn't want to play those types of battles, just political ones. But it seems that I need to start playing the defense of Ryloth myself. I could use some suggestions though. I would like to (in keeping with the personality of Crom'nen) have ships manufactured by non-humans. Mon Cal cruisers are any easy pick, and fighters I have covered, but I could use advice on the rest.
Kor, I'd love to meet up with you. Care to stop by my office?

try out the hapans too, they are nice. Scytche class from DAC is nice, only problem with it is that it doesnt have a size stated as far as I know. Mandalorian ships? They arent technically human, they are... well, Mandalorian.
