Ok, two quick thoughts because I'm out of time tonight. I'll be back tomorrow night or Saturday.
1) I can have Admiral Korr steer the discussion to the amended defense bill Koronov is planning to introduce. I'll figure out exactly how to do that after I read the previous posts more closely. That should help us close the meeting. I have an additional proposed change to the bill that I don't believe anyone has suggested yet, which I will work in at some point.
2) Are we still going to make an attempt to summon the Jedi to brief us on the Mando situation? I know that one key question is whether the Mandalorians are targeting solely force users, or whether they are causing collateral damage. If it's just the Jedi, then some parts of the Senate might well prefer to let the Mandos exhaust themselves fighting the Jedi, while the rest of us remain safely neutral.

Technically Koronov, the military committee is supposed to have a Jedi member (non-voting) to brief them and add to the discussion. We just don't have an actual person doing that.

i can throw a jedi in the mix if need be, but technically I think 'at this moment' the Jedi only about the Yavin aggression; Ossus and Carida are literally just starting.
I can send a jedi 'from the future,' to give a debrief, if need be.
oo right, and I have my admiral on the Military Council. Totally spaced the aspect. Totally forgot, my fault boys, thanks for not harping on me about it. I can throw a little bit of him in there if need be. He can enter the meeting all late like and say "sorry for the tardiness, but I just got off the holo with the jedi with big news" and he can debrief the committee. That's a plausible idea. Either way, Republic support will prove to be crucial in wrapping up this war with the Mandos.
And Sel, you're swings are so radical I find them hard to justify IC, which is why I wrote myself out of your dealings on Corellia; no OOC disrespect-- I just can't seem to find a way to IC'ly justify accepting your help with the Mandos . . .until things get desperate (i think, now that I write that statement out, I found a way to justify it, is that what you are going for?).

No worries Cihl. You've been insanely busy, I know. That said, I think the tardiness excuse is perfect for whatever you want to throw in. Hopefully Ryloth will begin moving a little quicker and I'll be ready for Republic notification in an IRL month or so... sigh.

Hi guys! Its sel, you remember, the dude who has been waiting for a post a month back? In all seriousness, Koronov, I love your work, but................... a month wait is still ..... I know there is IRL and shit, I just dont want my char to be sitting in his ship through the entire Mando war, now that he had started it. I mean, someone else he knows started it... yeah, thats right... Cihl, I love your entusiasm, just dont really know.... you know... who you are If its about 5, then....... if you find something wierd, then send me a PM and I a mostly open to changes. And if you cant find it justified IC, then deal with it IC and dont just let me hang in nothingness... you sure as hell dont disrespect me, if you punch 5 in the face and show her the door As for help against the mandos...... who else is helping you against the mandos? Republic is rolling thumbs, the Sith are not yet hit, and yavin is gone. I would thank the gods if I could get inside information... buts thats me.

Duh-Da! Duh-DA! de-de-DAH Duh-da-da-DAAA! You just remember when a Twi'lek jumps out of the shadows and disembowels someone, it was your idea. < Fair enough, > What about Belf'ima's earlier suggestion that a neutral party propose the bills. She suggested Koronov, but if someone wants to get a lesser used Senator involved, feel free. < Good idea, is he still around though? or anyone else for that matter? > Can do. Just for solidarity and a bit of some development/team building, you mind dropping by myself Darma and hand me the recommendations so we can have a bit of a "closed door" discussion, just to bring some flavor and depth into the hierarchy. I see how it is. Close out Belf'ima because she's a girl. Or acting Senator. Whatever. < No, because she's a girl and an acting senator. and sure, we can have some fun with that Cihlbar. >

Also, the tardiness ideal is cool, and would be a great work in.
Sel... It's your own fault for choosing to come write with a mostly AWOL group, if you get stuck somewhere. Though, I do understand your frustration/annoyance at being delayed more than you expected.

Sel, don't forget that you were the one who overcomplicated the refugee situation by turning down my initial plan. :-)
Let me see what I can do for you.

Sel, I have posted.
Darma, are you're still in for the meeting with Khar? If not, I'm going to need a replacement.
I will write the Jedi, I have an NPC Knight that I want to re-introduce to the site and now is as good as time as any.

I admit it was a flawed plan, I just didn't know what to do after you said no.

Yes, I'm still good for meeting with Khar, just contact him IC, and He'll make his way over. things in the MC seem to be wrapping up, but I haven't read the last few posts their yet. He may leave in the middle of the meeting or as it finishes depending on how things are going in the meeting.

Friendly neighborhood Imperial again.
As some of you may have noticed there was a thread on a cell of Mandos getting onto Coruscant to find some Jedi and kick their bumbs. It's still primarily in the planning stage but it only struck me now.
Your chill with this eh? It's not an attack on the GR just prep for a Jedi attack. Hopefully it will be put to a stop before anything major happens. You know keeping to the shadows, a few people in the under city disappearing, maybe a few forays to scout out the area around the Jedi Temple. That kind of thing.

I realize this is a late date to quote this, as things may have moved on, but I'd like to be that Jedi for your number two thing. I feel a discussion is in order . PM for details.

Eli, I think it would be cool if Alan/Kel/Koronov if you went ahead and pull the trigger and became that jedi that informed the Senate of the extent and impact the Mando War has on the Republic.
My admiral laid the groundwork for some jedi (any jedi) to come and debrief the MC on the details.
If Alan thinks this is stepping on his toes. . . .I'm really sorry bud. :-( , but let's spread the wealth and get this moving ahead.
-CIhl/Will/Hileo/etc.
My OOC name is Jesse, for the record. I don't think many know/remember that. :-P
