How would you guys like e to contact you as a group? OR... would you rather be contact you all separately? I've started RPing on Brentaal, and I'm in the process of finding out if anyone has dibs on it. Other than that I hope to get to know you gents IC real soon. The best approach would probably be to contact one (or more) Senators individually and get them to sponsor a vote on your membership at it next meeting. Do we have a volunteer to do the talking for the Republic on this one? If not, I can do it, but I've got a lot on my plate already.

Nice pun... if you would get your posting on Caamas up and the republic would be nice enough to let a fullblown sith into their garden (sel) then, Xeo, your Mr O'Niel would have his hands full in terrorism and info gathering... wasnt meant as pun... just slight nagging

Please notify me when the activity on Coruscant dies down a bit; I still intend to come and request to join the Republic at your earliest convenience.

Keep in mind that the Galactic Directory is OOC knowledge only. If you want to cause trouble for the Republic, you should probably start by gathering IC intelligence. :) Member worlds of the Republic isn't likely to be a particularly big secret; it'd probably be as easy as logging onto the Holonet and reading the Republic's entry on SpaceWikipedia. Or whatever it is. Even fortress worlds that are technically military bases as opposed to actual members, like Yavin IV, would likely be listed; only incredibly secret or dangerous worlds would likely be hidden and buried, like in the days of the Old Republic where info on worlds like Myrkr was classified.

I tend to agree with Dav but this wont be no willy nilly attack, thee will be reasons. A build up, preparing and also maybe helping the Republic for a while.

Knowing who the member worlds are isn't enough information to launch a detailed attack, that's all I was saying. Looking forward to it, Xeonon

Hmm, yeah, time to give the whole Military Committee thing a boot. Have we tried PMs? PM sent to Alaric.

As you may have known, the Exchange is behind many bounties on a few senators. Well, I would like to suggest, that the Republic enters into a full out war on drugs aka against the Exchange as it operates in Republic space and possibly to hit other places that may get leaked such as drug houses on Hoth or something with black ops and such. Basically, lets go into a drug war, you against us. And most importantly, lets have some fun.

That's a fantastic idea -- if there were anyone to write the Republic side of the war on drugs, which there doesn't seem to be.

Kor, I tend to agree with the others. Terrorists don't tend to do intel gathering. They just walk into an elementary school with a pistol, or a movie theater with a rifle, or a crowd of people with a bomb. These guys don't have to do intel gathering to determine which states make up the US. All you have to be is angry. Also, I can work with Argos, I guess. Just PM me with what I need to do.
Exch, with the Mando War and this potential Cold War, plus the Exchange invasion of Ryloth (which the GR still has no IC knowledge of!), drug war may not be the best thing. In a sense of realism, people tend to get "war weary," like the push back President Obama got on Syria. Politically, it would be a bad idea for the Senate to take that up instead of leaving it to local policing forces. Or maybe I'm the one getting war weary. I think massive stalemates because no one wants to lose a character they've invested this much in makes for boring RP, and I'd like to get back to something more... complex(?). That's not the right word, but I can't think of the right word right now.

Engaging, perhaps? If that's the word and the case perhaps my services can be of use. Sadly not as Alpharius himself as he is elsewhere in the galaxy, but as The Kind. A foe that the Republic could face and win against to boost the morale. Cause after reading a few of your posts here, seems like everyone needs a laidback pick me up... which can consist of cake and tea... with a side of genocide. I also realize that things are still ramping up with both the story arc on Ryloth and within the senate itself. Thus as I have made the offer, it can be taken up whenever you desire. Perhaps it might even give the lot of you gents a chance to warm up while I dust off the rust.

Then, the Exchange will grow more powerful in the Republic underworld as I set my sights on deeper pockets. Maybe, not for a full out drug war but definitely a menace to society.
Rather or not you force a crackdown is up to y'all.

Well, set the seeds now. That way, when things like the Cold War pick up pace, and things have quietened down on other fronts, we can certainly turn to it then.

I'm not actually sure whether Coruscant is defenseless. Part of my fleet may technically still be there, although I haven't posted it's existence since the site crash.
I will check, although to be fair to Sel, I won't bring them back to life just yet.

Let's think logically IC here; Coruscant would never be defenceless. Setting aside the intricacies of the rules for a moment, there is no circumstance that can be logically rationalised IC where a Coruscant that is the centre of government and not undergoing some strife or the other would be without a defensive fleet.

You don't need to think logically. Coruscant's defenses are at the bottom of its guide entry. If memory serves me right, I ensured that three hypervelocity gums and two defense stations were there at all times. Not to mention the systems patrol craft that constanrtly go about making sure incoming and outgoing traffic means cordial. But that was back when I ran the sysrem, I don't know if you've made any changes since.
