I think I'd like to bring Zane back for this little JotW experiment...would the Jedi team be willing to let me do so? I've got an idea of what I'd like Zane to do. It would be peaceful and passive at first, but if you don't mind, I'd be willing to try... What did you have in mind, exactly? |

D'awww...that's ok. My idea wasn't so much for the attack's sake than it was for the story's. I was thinking of having Zane just show up on the back porch/patio of the cabin, chillin' on a picnic table. And when Sin and/or Era would come outside, I'd offer a chance for the Emperor to surrender peacefully. That was going to be my only big play...I mean, after all, why come there and seek to ruin a good getaway weekend with violence and destruction?
But yeah, I understand...you guys have fun with the SL! If it works out later, maybe I could try and jump in then...

Yeah that doesn't work.
As it is, Sin and Era traveled under alias and hers is of a Ubese weapons dealer named Dru. Jade and Sto are actually tracking Dru. It's only later they learn that Dru is really Sinistra.

If only she was offworld on a Jedi planet, just her and her non-Imperial lover in a secluded lakeside house in the middle of nowhere, written in a JotW thread created so they could be ambushed by anti-Imperialists... The political implications of attacking foreign heads of state would rule out a large scale assault, but a small task force lead by a Jedi or two might be up to the task. Or they might get curb stomped. Never know til you try. If Eralam is anywhere nearby, the attempt will be curb-stomped. Still, I'm down. This is that JotW thread you pointed out? As soon as I catch up with Sin I'll post something. Also, I have an alt that I need killed off as well. Perfect. I mean, not just that alt, obviously I'll come after you as myself. End of discussion. I reckon I can last a few posts vs Eralam I will join you Jade I enjoy writing with you and I this has me written all over it. |

Also. Laptop power cord decided to finally die after about five months with a short in the wire. As it no longer powers my laptop, I essentially have no computer right now. The replacement cord should get here in a few days, but until then, I have to access JvS from my work environment---so posting may be a bit slow over the weekend. >.< I'll try to stay caught up though.

It's been too long since I've written opposite the Sith and I'm hoping we can squeeze a duel out at some point, but no rush from my point. To be honest I have already begun to stretch this character from out of his current timeline so its perhaps for the best. |

Too much to read. Wow. But I have a few thoughts. 1) For Raylia and anyone else with similar thoughts -- no writer, Jedi or otherwise, should be afraid to come to Corellia and start writing just because you don't know us very well OOC. 2) I think the High Council's real focus needs to be as the leadership of our OOC collaboration. The High Council doesn't necessarily need to exist IC every single moment. Simply maintaining a presence gets dreary and unnecessary unless there is content. You should be free to continue to pursue your own stories and lives, and only convene an IC Council when it's needed for a ceremony or to make an important decision official. Don't waste time writing out lengthy debates IC if the issue can be solved faster with an OOC debate. Decide the issue OOC first, then make it an IC decision with a quick meeting. We've tried to do the exact same thing with the Republic Senate, with mixed results. 3) I wish I could help the High Council, but I can't right now. I enjoy helping other writers find paths for their characters, but I just don't have the time to do a good job of it. Those of you who are waiting on posts from me know this. My RP time routinely goes to zero for days at a time due to work responsibilities. 4) I am focusing on small-scale personal RPs right now. Those stories have to start on Corellia, because that is where all of the baggage and loose ends of my characters' pasts are located, but I don't plan to stay rooted to Corellia. I will definitely be traveling around once things get a bit better re-established. Hopefully I won't end up in as many RP voids as I did last year when I paid visits to other Jedi strongholds |
