I'm ok with that. No voting to take a vote. Just pull the trigger and make a decision.

I believe that's what I did with declaring Dev and myself a majority.... but maybe no one caught that...
I'm no dictator but this is what I am dictating.
1) Voting For a whole new council 2) You get 5 votes for the people YOU would like on the council 3) None of your votes can be for yourself 4) 5 people with most overall votes get a seat 5) 3 days (3 24 hour cycles) after the first vote is cast voting is done 6) Voting can begin as soon as the last people say if they want votes or not 6.5) ALL jedi get a set of votes 7) If you don't like my rules too bad (or just kindly state why I should stop talking and they can be amended)

I would like to point out that some of us (points at herself) can only get on twice a week. so perhaps a slightly longer voting period is in order (maybe 5 or 6 days)? A second thread with just the votes might also be a good idea in order to prevent any people's post from being lost in clutter.

-Adieumus Matango (yes) -Ael Jade (yes) -Aerandir Calmcacil (yes) -Devlin Dewe (yes) -Diamonte (yes) -Eli Vandal(yes) -Jena Shaewe -Kel'Al Raganella (no) -Lyssa Ramaela -Mike Frantz(yes) -Raylia Venci (no) -Tyor D'nec (No) -Will Sontir (yes) -Zion Morviael (no) I shall abstain from being a candidate, as Tyor seems to be a tad maverick for the council currently, and also because I really don't have the time to dive full on into being on the HC at the moment. Oh, and I alphabetized the list; it was starting to bug me...>.>

A second thread with just the votes might also be a good idea in order to prevent any people's post from being lost in clutter. I don't see why that would be a problem. Though I did have another thought: should people log in with the Jedi to vote? It'd make it easier to track who voted, instead of needing to know who writes which Jedi. Although some people may have more than 1 Jedi and therefore get more than 1 vote (but I don't really see that as a problem since all Jedi get a vote). Like I said, just a thought.

Would be better if the person lists the jedi they write as (so each writer only gets to vote once).

The only thing I would say is what has already been brought up, and that's that the time should probably be a wee bit more. Along with that, I think it should be every writer gets a vote, not every Jedi. But those are just my thoughts, it would just make sense for everyone to have one set of votes instead of a set of votes for every jedi alt they have.

zion, i don't know either way, but I am willing to wait until Ice can decide for herself. 1) Voting For a whole new council 2) You get 5 votes for the people YOU would like on the council 3) None of your votes can be for yourself 4) 5 people with most overall votes get a seat 5) 5 days (5 24 hour cycles) after the first vote is cast voting is done 6) Voting can begin as soon as the last people say if they want votes or not 6.1) ALL jedi get a set of votes 6.1.1) All jedi being defined as one set of votes per writer regardless of how many jedi characters they have (minimum: 1) 7) If you don't like my rules too bad (or just kindly state why I should stop talking and they can be amended) Sorry Mike, but fixed

All looks good to me, the more time is a good idea, I just liked the number 3. And I meant it as every Jedi writer and should probably have clarified, and thanks monte for the update.

May I say a week sounds like a solid number. I hate to say it but a person who can't squeeze in a small OOC post in one week in MY opinion should not matter in the voting scheme of things. You shouldn't be bogged down waiting for someone.

We appreciate your input but I think we are going 5 days (unless of course enough people disagree)

Once again, we find ourselves between the number 5 and 7 (days for voting) lol. I think five days sound perfect.

Five is sufficient, that's a business week, so it counts as a week in my book.

submitted publically? I'm okay as long as no takes it personally.
